Kenny Chesney Adds 3 Soccer Stadiums to 20 Stadium SUN GOES DOWN Tour

Once Kenny Chesney gets rolling, count on the 8-time Entertainer of the Year to think about how he can expand what he does on the road in new and intriguing ways. With soccer fever sweeping the nation, he decided to upgrade his plays in Cincinnati and Salt Lake City to the TQL Stadium and America First Field respectively; the move was inspired by his years of headlining Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium.
 
“In a lot of ways, soccer stadiums are the best of both worlds,” allows the charismatic songwriter/superstar. “You have the same kind of intimacy that you get in an amphitheater, but it’s big enough you have the ability to really hit the accelerator in terms of energy, music, connecting. It’s a relatively new thing for us to have soccer stadiums, but these are markets where I know there are people who aren’t getting tickets – and everyone in No Shoes Nation knows how I feel about no citizen of our crew left behind.”
 
Adding three MLS soccer venues isn’t the first Sun Goes Down 2024 changeup. Initially only planning for one Foxborough, Mass. show, Chesney added a second, selling both out in a wildly competitive summer of live music. That response was so intense, Chesney added an unprecedented third New England show on Sunday night, which is well over two-thirds sold, too.
 
“People have choices,” says the only country artist on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 14 years. “You never want to take fans or the marketplace as a given, and you always want to remember who you do this for: the people who love the music. I want to give people the best night of their summer...because they’re giving me some of the greatest nights of my life! And the response to Sun Goes Down made me decide to try some things.”
 
Chesney’s soccer stadiums shows are Saturday, June 29 at Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium, Tuesday, July 16 at Salt Lake City’s America First Field and Thursday, August 8 at Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium. All three shows on this configuration of Sun Goes Down 2024 will feature CMA Song of the Year and New Artist nominee Megan Moroney and old friend and multiple week No. 1 “When The Sun Goes Down” partner Uncle Kracker.
 
With “Take Her Home” landing on 133 reporting country stations in its first week, Chesney’s once again hitting a nerve among his fans – often described as the most loyal alongside the Deadheads and Parrotheads – with a real life song that tracks the moments that define a life in the best way possible. The song embracing taking the risks that make real people’s lives sweeter, it’s the essence of No Shoes Nation: people living life who lean in, hang on and love every single moment along the way.

NYC-based goth pop-alternative duo Frenchy and the Punk present the single ‘Gear Geist’. Essentially translated as Gear Ghost, this song conjures the 'ghost in the machine' idea, which reflects the overall 'mind phantoms' theme of their latest album Zen Ghost'.  The new video for this song was shot in Whitby and Thetford Forest during the duo's UK ‘Zen Ghost’ tour earlier this year.

This follows their October cover version of Siouxsie and the Banshees’ classic 'Cities In Dust', timed for the 38th anniversary of the original release, with B-side 'Monsters'.

Frenchy and the Punk is vocalist, percussionist and lyricist Samantha Stephensonand guitarist-composer Scott Helland, co-founder of Deep Wound (with Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis and Lou Barlow) and Outpatients. Tapped as one of the Top 25 duos in the US by Yahoo! Music, the duo profess a vivid blend of post-punk, cabaret and dark folk music.

‘Gear Geist’ is a largely instrumental track peppered with expansive atmospheric and ethereal vocals, adding texture and emotion. The melding of Helland's guitar and organically produced sounds from the guitar, as well as keyboard and electronic embellishments and percussion, perfectly mesh to create an otherworldly soundscape.

"Whenever I sing those parts in the song it feels like a lament, an acknowledgement of the sadness in the world enveloped with a veil of the bittersweet nature of love, beauty, connection and loneliness in life," says Samantha Stephenson.

“It was cloudy and raining in both locations, which was perfect for the mood of the track. The atmospheric and haunting vibe of ‘Gear Geist’ demanded a kind of setting that could reflect that mood."

For this video, Stephenson was able to tap into her many years of dance training and performance to bring a strong dance element to the visuals. Aerialist Nicole Pisaniello from Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus (in Richmond VA) adds a gravity-defying element to that dance theme, sewing up the thread of a gothic embrace to the song.

Helland and Stephenson met in NYC in 1998. The spark was immediate, powerful and undeniable. They started collaborating on creative projects together, but it wouldn't be until 2005 that they would start to collaborate musically after Stephenson spontaneously jumped on stage to accompany Helland during his solo guitar performance. The two began to tour with fevered zeal and striking aesthetic, building fervent fans on the mystical-folk/steampunk festival, coffeehouse, convention and club circuits with their boisterous performances.

With numerous recordings under their belt over the years, they've performed with Dead Can Dance's Peter Ulrich and Dresden Dolls' Brian Viglione, and opened for Thomas Dolby, Dinosaur Jr., The World Inferno Friendship Society, Rasputina, Cruxshadows, Hurray For The Riff Raff and The Young Dubliners. 

After a full year of touring throughout the USA and Europe, Frenchy and the Punk is now back in New York, writing material for a new album planned for 2024. In the meantime, both the ‘Zen Ghost’ album and the 'Cities In Dust' single are available from fine digital outlets, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. ‘Gear Geist’ itself will be offered on a 'name your price' basis via Bandcamp until December 15th.

BLIND GUARDIAN Announces 'The God Machine' North American Tour 2024

After last year's triumphant return to the stage in the form of their 'Somewhere Far Beyond Tour' across Germany, the breathtaking story of BLIND GUARDIAN's latest masterpiece The God Machine goes on. The metal legends are proud to announce ’The God Machine’ North American 2024 tour. 

The 22-date trek will commence on April 18th at The Fillmore in Silver Springs and will make its way to Dallas, Seattle, and Toronto before the final performance at Milwaukee Metal Fest on May 17th. Joining the band as support is NIGHT DEMON.

Ace Frehley Announces New Studio Album, 10,000 Volts

(November 28, 2023) Grammy-nominated R&RHOF inductee and guitar legend ACE FREHLEY announces the release of his new studio album, 10,000 Volts, due out on February 23, 2024. Produced by Ace and Steve Brown (Trixter), the 11-track 10,000 Volts sees Ace perform electrifying, hard-hitting, riff-heavy rock'n' roll.  

Today, he releases the first single and title track. Written and produced by Ace and Steve Brown, the track kicks off with a surging riff, and Ace's swaggering delivery takes hold and never lets go. It culminates on the chantable chorus, “She hit me like 10,000 volts, when I saw her face,” giving way to a fret-burning guitar solo.

The accompanying visual for the single was directed by Alex Kouvatsos from Black Wolf Imaging and shows Ace and his band performing the powerful, riff-heavy track live.

Among hundreds of accolades, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® inducted him in 2014 as a Co-founder and the original lead guitarist of Kiss. Guitar World named him in the Top 15 of its “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time” and plugged the lead from “Shock Me” on the “50 Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time.” Magnifying the imprint of his catalog as a solo artist, Foo Fighters cut a fan favorite cover of “Ozone,” and he even jammed out “New York Groove” alongside The Roots on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. 10,000 Volts upholds an incredible legacy for Frehley, spanning 50-plus years in the limelight. Back in 1978, he delivered his solo debut, Ace Frehley. It reached platinum status and exploded as “the highest-selling of the four Kiss solo albums in the Soundscan era.” Pitchfork even retrospectively rated it a rare “8.5” score. In 1987, he dropped Frehley’s Comet. Following Anomaly in 2009, he went on to make history once again. His 2014 Space Invader LP captured #9 on the Billboard 200 and emerged as “The only solo album by a past or current Kiss member to reach the Top 10 on the chart.” 2016’s Origins Vol. 1, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart. He notably maintained his momentum with Spaceman [2018].

TEMIC Release Video for "Through the Sands of Time"

TEMIC are already living up to their billing as prog's new supergroup. Their debut album, Terror Management Theory, just topped the charts in the Netherlands and reached #15 on iTunes Worldwide Metal chart.

Today, TEMIC are releasing a stylish and scenic new video for "Through the Sands of Time", the sweeping 7-minute opener from Terror Management Theory. The song showcases the full range of the band's superpowers: melodic cleans, djenty riffs, keys that swirl and sizzle amid grooving technical breakdowns, not one but two arpeggiated guitar solos. They're only one album in, but TEMIC are proving they really are the full package.

Introducing TEMIC—prog’s newest, most ambitious, and most adrenaline-fueled act. TEMIC melds the creative minds of keyboardist and sound designer Diego Tejeida (Devin Townsend, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress, ex-Haken), guitarist Eric Gillette (The Neal Morse Band, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress), drummer Simen Sandnes (SHINING, Arkentype), and vocalist Fredrik Klemp (Maraton, 22).

The origins of TEMIC date back to 2017, when Tejeida and Gillette toured the world as band members of Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress. From the very first chords they exchanged, their musical chemistry both on and off stage was undeniable, leading them to discuss the prospect of starting a new band together. Unfortunately, conflicting tour and recording commitments forced them to turn their attention elsewhere for years—that is, until the world came to a standstill in 2020, and Tejeida called Gillette to ask a fateful question:
“Remember how we said we should make music together? Well, how about now?”

Thus, the first demos for what would later become TEMIC’s 2023 debut album, Terror Management Theory, began to emerge. Within a few weeks after that initial phone call, the musical vision of TEMIC had become clear: Let’s create progressive music that is heavily influenced by high-energy electronic music, but arranged and orchestrated for a 5-piece modern prog rock/metal band—where, at last, the pulse can be the focus, and the vocal melody can be king.

Eager to join forces with the very best bandmates, Tejeida and Gillette first summoned the rhythmic power of their friend and drummer Sandnes. With characteristic enthusiasm, Sandnes seized the opportunity, prepared to contribute his percussive prowess as the heartbeat of TEMIC. When it came time to find the singer that would carry TEMIC’s melodies to new heights, Sandnes recommended vocal powerhouse Klemp, whose emotive delivery and unmatched intensity left no doubt that he was destined to be the voice of TEMIC. Finally, to round out the rhythm section of Terror Management Theory, dynamic bassist Jacob Umansky (Intervals) was invited on board as a guest player, gracing the album with an unrivaled groove and a signature low-end sound.

Together, this mammoth lineup is TEMIC, a high-energy, electronic-inspired, modern melodic prog metal band for the next generation.

"Our drummer, Simen Sandnes, produced this music video in Iceland, exploring a visually aesthetic interpretation of "Through the Sands of Time", says TEMIC.

"The chorus encourages the listener to let go of their past, to ‘burn it all’ in order to ‘fly high’ and ‘breathe life’. This contrasts with the melancholic nature of the verses, which reflect on the past and question the present: ‘What is true?’ Sometimes, we spend so much time regretting and reassessing that we forget the hourglass of our lives is constantly running.

We hope you are all enjoying TMT. We are all absolutely astounded by the response we’ve received!"

Diego Tejeida and Eric Gilette first got the idea to start a band together when they were touring members of Mike Portnoy's Shattered Fortress. Here are just some of the nice things that their fellow road dog had to say about Terror Management Theory.

Their vision for TEMIC wasn't exactly simple: synthesize their love for high-energy electronica and flashy riffs into a killer prog-metal hybrid. But after recruiting former soccer prodigy-turned-Zildjian-endorsed drummer Simen Sandnes (SHINING, Arkentype) to go along with the high-powered falsetto of Fredrik Bergersen (Maraton), together, the supergroup managed to connect all those puzzle pieces on their very first album.

Ryman Auditorium Announces Mother's Day Weekend w/ Amy Grant, May 10-11, 2024

Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium has announced a two-night special event featuring six-time GRAMMY winner Amy Grant to coincide with Mother’s Day weekend. Grant's Ryman shows in May will mark her first solo performance at the Ryman in 25 years, and her first solo performances in Nashville in more than 15 years. The two-night event takes place May 10 and 11, 2024, and will feature different set lists each night. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. CT. Preceding her spring shows, Grant and husband Vince Gill will kick off their “Christmas at the Ryman” residency on Dec. 13, one of Music City’s most treasured traditions. The 12-concert run is scheduled for December 13-14, 16-17, 19-20 and 22-23 and will once again feature matinee performances of the beloved show.
 
“Who doesn’t love the Ryman Auditorium? It’s the best place in the world to hear music and to perform,” says Grant. “Every year I look forward to Vince’s and my Christmas residency there, and this year is no exception. For so many artists and musicians, playing that stage is returning to the Mother Church of music and sharing a night with family.
 
“I’m thrilled to be headed back to the Ryman for the first time in 25 years to play two nights of the non-holiday music I’ve been making for the past 45 years,” Grant continues. “Over the two nights, I’ll cover as much of the old music as I can, and introduce a couple of new songs.”
 
This past weekend, Grant and her long-time friend and collaborator Michael W. Smith embarked on their 2023 Christmas Tour. Joined by special guest Michael Tait of the Newsboys, Grant and Smith will co-headline nine holiday shows, including their first appearance together on New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall stage (Dec. 5).

The tour announcement comes on the heels of Aldean’s 11th studio album release earlier this month. PARMALEE RELEASES POWERFUL VIDEO FOR “GONNA LOVE YOU”

Multi-platinum group Parmalee follows the release of their new single “Gonna Love You” with the powerful and autobiographical music video that recreates the night they were victims of an attempted robbery which left their drummer with a 5% chance of living.

Following a show in SC, brothers Matt and Scott Thomas were in their RV when two robbers entered the vehicle demanding cash. Soon after, a gunfight broke out, and though Scott fended off both intruders, he was shot three times. He was airlifted to a hospital where he spent 40 days, 10 in a coma, recovering from his injuries.

“We felt like this was the right song and the right time to tell this story,” said Scott. “It was emotional and surreal for all of us to relive that experience, but we knew it was time.” 

Miraculously, just 4 months after the incident, the band took the stage for the first time since the shooting occurred. That night, they secured a record deal they had been working on for years. “We couldn’t believe how many people came together to help us. We would’ve never made it through had it not been for our fans, families, friends, and all the bands and musicians who came together to help us out! We didn’t even ask, they just did it!”

“Gonna Love You,” follows their most recent #1 single, “Girl In Mine.” With four 4 # 1 radio singles and three consecutive in as many years, Stoney Creek Records' Parmalee has now scored more #1’s than any other band or group in country music during that time.

EQUILIBRIUM - Release New Single 'Cerulean Skies'

One of the most exciting years for the German modern metal institution is coming to an end - though EQUILIBRIUM are far from taking it slow: Ahead of their upcoming tour with DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER at the end of December, the band releases their new single 'Cerulean Skies' that is available on all streaming platforms now.

Founding member René Berthiaume states:
"When people tell us what they associate with the music of Equilibrium we often hear that they are being taken on a small journey with the songs. That's what we tried again with the music and also the video of 'Cerulean Skies'. We are very excited to release this next element of Equilibrium."

ZETRA - Sign To Nuclear Blast Records And Release Video For New Single 'Sacrifice'

Today sees the shadowy emissaries known as ZETRA sign to Nuclear Blast Records. To celebrate this unholy union, ZETRA have released a visual manifestation of their newest sonic offering 'Sacrifice'.

Alluvial Share NSFW "Death Is But a Door" Video

ALLUVIAL — Kevin Muller [vocals], Wes Hauch [guitar, vocals], Tim Walker [bass], and Zach Dean [drums] — will release their new EP, Death Is But a Door on January 12 via Nuclear Blast.

They have just shared the video for the title track. It was directed by Juan Carlos Escobar Salazar. 

The plot-driven video traces the mental and emotional descent of a man against an apocalyptic urban backdrop. Trigger warning: The video does include scenes of gun violence.

"The best of us carry a dormant horror," the band says about the track. "The very worst of us still have a heart."

The director also chimed in, saying, "Ever since I heard Alluvial's Sarcoma,they quickly became one of my absolute favorite bands. As a musician myself, I was blown away by their technicality, brutality, and their devastating wall of sound in their songs. So when my friend Mada Fleming introduced me to Kevin Muller literally a couple months ago, he mentioned the possibility of collaborating on a music video for a song in their upcoming EP. I was more than thrilled! Through a phone call, Wes Hauch and Kevin gave me the premise of what they had in mind for the video. After knowing what their vision was, I reached out to the incredibly talented actor, writer, producer, and director Nickolas Jacobs and through a lot of work and ingenuity, we delivered a piece that encapsulates the vision of the band and the atmosphere of the song. As a cinematographer, I had a lot of fun creating this; as a musician and a huge fan, it was an honor being part of this project with Alluvial and Nuclear Blast Records."

Alluvial just wrapped a successful U.S. tour supporting TesseracT and will hit the road again this winter with Veil of Maya and Angelmaker. All dates are below.

Darkness and despair are a breeding ground for creativity in the right hands. Since their inception in 2017, Atlanta-based band Alluvial have embraced the grim and gloom that the world has to offer through an intricately balanced blend of rapid-fire polyrhythms, haunting, sludgy atmospheres and tightly wound grooves. The band takes a stab at creating an even more sinister sound than their previous album, Sarcoma, Death Is But a Door. 

"We wrote about 13 or 14 songs this summer, but we wanted to do this EP between Sarcoma and our next full-length. These songs align with the vibe we want to go for. We will always find a way to be darker from record to record in the same way that South of Heaven was heavier than Reign In Blood and Seasons In The Abyss was heavier than South Of Heaven," says Hauch. "It was that concept of chasing the dragon to find a way to top the message and vibe on the last record while finding a way to do it that made us excited." 

After releasing their instrumental debut full-length, The Deep Longing for Annihilation, the band hit the road. Although the album has racked up millions of streams, there was always an intent to add a vocalist to their following releases. Hauch had begun writing what would become Sarcoma in 2018 and recruited Muller, knowing his vocal prowess from the vocalist's time in Suffocation.  

Bringing Muller into the fold immediately elevated the band’s sound, but Death Is But a Door shows the synergy that the band has developed from working as a cohesive unit over the last few years.  

Although the band's mission is to drive into bleaker and heavier territory with each new release, they manage to bring balance to their sound. While they remain grounded in death metal, the band's approach finds them exploring all of their influences. From traditional thrash like Pantera or Metallica to darker grunge like Alice in Chains or Soundgarden and everything in between, Alluvial aim to keep listeners on their toes by pushing beyond the realms of death metal. 

"I wanted to have a band where we can write meaningful yet action-packed songs. Something that is terrifying but breaks your heart at the same time. I think we'll always chase that, but we want to find new ways to be heavy," says Hauch.  

With the band’s members being as ingrained in the death metal scene as they are — with members previously playing in The Faceless, Suffocation and more — listeners can rest assured they’ll be met with plenty of brutality throughout their music. The twists and turns into clean passages, atmospheric ambience, or any of the other musical avenues explored throughout Alluvial's music take them over the edge and invite listeners to return and find something previously undiscovered.   

Trashcan Sinatras' John Douglas shares 'I'm Not The Fella' from eponymous debut solo album, announces final live dates for 2023

One of Scotland’s finest songwriters - John Douglas of Trashcan Sinatras fame - presents 'I'm Not The Fella', an endearing open-heart narration of an interaction from the past. Featured on his debut solo album, recently released via Scotland's Reveal Records, the accompanying video was filmed at the An Taibhdhearc - National Irish language theatre in Galway City. He also recently released a video for the album's opening track 'Lost'.

Hailing from Irvine on Scotland’s west coast, John has a rich history, making music with Trashcan Sinatras for over thirty years. Apart from his role as a songwriter (and guitarist) there, John has been playing live gigs across the UK and Ireland as part of his partner Eddi Reader’s band.

John Douglas shares, "I was on tour with Galway singer/songwriter Ultan Conlon when this was filmed. I had just added a few verses at the end and you can catch me taking an occasional glance at the lyric sheet on the floor.  Hope you like this song and video, filmed by Black Gate Productions."

The  'John Douglas' album presents an intimate snapshot of the talent, charisma and depth of this celebrated Scottish indie songsmith - the start of a new chapter in Douglas' creative life as he looks back at a lifetime of musical adventures and accolades while moving forwards. This record features original material, along with new recordings of some of John's favourite Trashcan Sinatras material and his own rendition of the Prefab Sprout classic ‘We Let The Stars Go’.

The eleven songs on this record were performed solo, recorded live at Kyoti Studio in Glasgow (with no overdubs) by producer Mark Freegard (New Model Army, Lush, The Breeders, Del Amitri, Marillion), who also mixed and mastered the album.

“I’ve often been encouraged by friends over the years to make a solo album, but the timing or inclination didn’t flow. Last year - out of nowhere - everything suddenly felt right and the process was quick and natural. Mark just set the mics up and I played my songs. No other musicians or overdubs. Me and my guitar. That way, I became the songs and they became me. The finished record, though varied in song styles, has a mood to it… it’s warm, thoughtful and quiet.. as I generally aspire to be," says John Douglas.

Lately, John Douglas has been performing solo sets at shows with musical friends, such as Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Jill Jackson and James Grant (Love & Money). Whilst visiting Irvine recently, John was invited to guest with Martin McAloon (Prefab Sprout), the two artists having first met in 1990 when the Trashcan Sinatras' were touring with Prefab Sprout in support of their album ‘Jordan - The Comeback'.

The 'John Douglas' album is out now, available on CD and digitally from a wide selection of fine music outlets, including Bandcamp.

After 24-year wait, THE VELDT opens time-capsule with the release of their Robin Guthrie-produced 'Illuminated 1989' album

US alternative rock / postpunk outfit The Veldt release their 'Illuminated 1989' album on November 24 via Portland-based Little Cloud Records and North Carolina’s 5BC Records. This is the original 1989 full-length record produced by Cocteau Twins' Robin Guthrie, previewed by the latest offering 'Angel Heart', the lead track 'The Everlasting Gobstopper', and the single 'Aurora Borealis' (with Elizabeth Fraser making a cameo appearance on backing vocals), plus a B-side remix, created by The Veldt. 

Guthrie also remastered the album for vinyl earlier this year. While originally intended to be the band's first album, their label Capitol Records shelved the recording and sent them back into the studio with producer Lincoln Fong (Moose), resulting in their first album released with the title 'Marigolds'.

One of the most notable first-wave shoegaze bands, formed in North Carolina in the 1980s, The Veldt revolves around identical twins Daniel Chavis (vocals, guitar) and Danny Chavis (guitar). Their unique sound was influenced by Cocteau Twins as readily as Marvin Gaye and free-jazz warriors Sun Ra and Pharaoh Sanders. Referencing European post-punk while embracing modern hip-hop, these trailblazers work with transient dreamscapes as fluidly as solid song structures.
 
Pitchfork included The Veldt's album 'Afrodisiac', produced by the legendary Ray Shulman (The Sundays, Bjork, The Sugarcubes) and released via Mercury Records, in the top 50 shoegaze albums ever released, while Stereogum included ‘Until You’re Forever’ in the top 31 shoegaze tracks. Their sound also inspired future generations of alternative artists, including TV On the Radio.

The Veldt's journey is fascinating. Performing since they were children, the Chavis brothers’ musical roots lead back to the church and southern juke-joints, and listening to music that included gospel, Motown and Pink Floyd. The Veldt formed in the late 80’s in Raleigh amongst the legendary North Carolina music scene of the time, initially signing with Mammoth Records - leading to a chain of major-label relationships that took the group across Europe and the U.S. playing shows with the likes of Throwing Muses, Pixies, Cocteau Twins and Jesus & Mary Chain.

After moving from Raleigh to New York, they briefly performed as Apollo Heights before returning to their original name The Veldt. Joined by Japanese bassist-programmer Hayato Nakao, they together forging music that is a heady and sensual blend of shoegaze and progressive soul, dreamy soundscapes and infectious grooves. Some of the band's recent notable releases include 'The Shocking Fuzz Of Your Electric Fur' EP (2017) and the album 'Entropy is the Mainline to God' (2022).
 
Over the years, The Veldt has collaborated with TV On The Radio, Mos Def, Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite), A.R.Kane and toured or played with Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Pixies, Throwing Muses, Echo & The Bunnymen, Cocteau Twins, Manic Street Preachers, Phantogram, Modern English, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Oasis, Chuck D, Living Colour and Schooly D.

On November 24, the 'Illuminated 1989' album will be released digitally via Portland-based Little Cloud Records and 5BC Records, and available from fine music platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp.  The Veldt is currently touring the USA and will be joined by TREMOURS throughout December, culminating in a performance at Seattle's KEXP. The album will be released on vinyl on December 15.
