Meals 4 Health and Healing is a heart-centered, caring community preparing organic, immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory meals free of charge for cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment and their caregivers. Since 2013, the nonprofit has served over 200,000 servings to hundreds of clients and their caregivers in Williamson and Davidson Counties.

“Meals 4 Health and Healing was founded by Kathie Heimerdinger whose husband, Mike – former Tennessee Titans Offensive Coordinator – passed away from cancer,” shares foundation Executive Director Katharine Ray. “Through their experiences, Kathie and her family became acutely aware of the burden a cancer diagnosis places on the whole family. We know food is medicine and a source of comfort but between appointments and treatments, nutritious food preparation is often sidelined. Meals 4 Health and Healing helps fill that gap and allows for caregivers to focus on their loved one.”

Research shows that nearly 80% of cancer patients end up malnourished as a result of cancer treatment. Consuming nourishing meals can make a vital difference to cancer patients as they fight their illness and heal from treatment. With an emphasis on serving those who are in crisis, who have little or no caregiving support, or who are financially unable to provide themselves with nutritious foods, the program elevates the recovery process for many who may be at high risk for malnutrition, which can slow down or stop treatment.

In addition, with over 250 active teen and adult volunteers participating in their program each year, the organization educates those volunteers about eating a “whole food” diet to reduce inflammation and to reduce the likelihood of chronic, inflammatory conditions like cancer. By educating patients, their families, and the adult and teen volunteers who provide the giving hands and hearts behind the organization’s mission, the eight-person team at The Heimerdinger Foundation is transforming the health and nutritional choices of countless people in middle Tennessee.

About Morgan Evans:
We all know life changes. Sometimes, it even gets flipped upside down, and for Warner Music Nashville’s Morgan Evans, his Life Upside Down EP captures just such a perspective shift.

An Australian-born country star with a truly international reach, the guitar slinging singer-songwriter has spent most of the last decade in the U.S., with a steady upward build to show for it. Releasing his Top 10 U.S. debut Things That We Drink To in 2018, he’s gone on to score a Platinum-certified No. 1 with the country-pop charmer “Kiss Somebody,” a Gold-certified fan favorite with the buzzy “Day Drunk” and rack up 800 million streams (and counting) –all while proving himself a captivating performer, equally adept at thrilling crowds by the tens of thousands all by himself, or with a band. In fact, his up-and-to-the-right trajectory took the People, Billboard, and Rolling Stone-lauded artist on his biggest challenge yet in 2022.

Following the release of his first full-band studio collection, The Country and the Coast (Side A), Evans spent the summer touring 10 countries across the globe –and even headlining the biggest country music festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Australia’s CMC Rocks, where he mesmerized a crowd of 22,000 adoring Aussies.

About The Heimerdinger Foundation:
The Heimerdinger Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2013, provides nutritious, organic meals and education, free of charge, for families facing cancer. Research shows that nearly 80% of people facing cancer end up malnourished as a result of treatment. Being poorly nourished worsens side effects, reduces the effectiveness of or can stop treatment, and lengthens recovery time once treatment ends. Since its inception, the organization has served over 200,000 servings to clients and their caregivers in Davidson and Williamson counties and educated hundreds of volunteer adults and teens about proper, healing nutrition for life through its Meals 4 Health and Healing organic garden, kitchen, and meal delivery program.

An emerging star with more than 60 million career streams to his credit and a dancehall dynamo with a million miles of highway in the rear view, Houston, Texas native Triston Marez sets his sights on the next chapter of his career by signing with Erv Woolsey Co. for management.

Marez began playing guitar at age six, performing a Buck Owens song at his first-grade talent show. His love of the genre grew from there, and he continued to craft his sound, infusing modern country with timeless, authentic swagger. Marez released his self-titled full-length album in 2021, which saw him collaborate with fellow Texan Ronnie Dunn on “Where The Neon Lies.”  Building upon that initial success, a new chapter begins … and he’s got much more than the soft glow of neon behind him.

His serene baritone and Texas grit blended with a touch of modern energy attracted renowned industry management outfit, Erv Woolsey Co., to get involved, with the team behind George Strait, Lee Ann Womack and a whole stable of pure-country stars signing Marez to set up his next chapter that begins now with the Jon Pardi-penned “Too Soon For Goodbye.”

“Being a part of a team as notable as the Erv Woolsey Co. is truly an honor,” Marez marvels. “I can't thank them enough for believing in my music and the vision. I feel extremely blessed to be able to work alongside the team. To announce that I have signed with The Erv Woolsey Co. for management, along with releasing new music and partnering with Cinq Music Group and Boom Music Group, is truly amazing and a blessing.”

“Triston puts in the hard work it takes in this business, from the grind of playing the honky tonks on Broadway when he first arrived in Nashville at 17 years old, to burning up the highways across the country touring the last few years,” shares EWC owner Erv Woolsey. “It’s his time to shine and I’m excited for his future!”

“Triston is a great Entertainer. The energy he brings to the stage is electrifying and contagious. This new music is a fine compliment to that,” adds Allen Mitchell, VP/new artist management. “His evolution to come as an artist is going to be fun to experience!”

Los Angeles-based Cinq Music Group and Nashville-based Boom Music Group will release Marez’s new music through a marketing and distribution partnership to further amplify the 60-million plus global streams the Houston native has already amassed independently.

Infused with a born entertainer’s charisma, he’s pushing dancehall honky-tonk into the digital age, with a forthcoming six-song EP produced by Jake Gear (Hailey Whitters’ Livin the Dream), capturing both the traditional influence and right-now spirit at Marez’s core. Building on the bold, Texas-centric sound of his previous work, and sourcing new material from some of the best writers in Nashville, this is a different mindset from the rest of Music City as he aims to make country“country again.”

“It's been some time since the release of my first record, but I feel this project makes up for that long wait,” adds Marez. “These songs really captivate the sound I have been honing for a while, yet, they also stay true to who I am – a balance which took a little time to find. With fiddle, steel and a slight touch of modern, Jake Gear really nailed the vision we all had when creating this music. Each song takes you to a different setting: from closing time at a honky tonk, to a lost lover’s front drive, to a tequila night in a border town. I am extremely proud of this music.”

Michael Ray's Spirits & Demons Include Meghan Patrick

MICHAEL RAY WRESTLES “SPIRITS & DEMONS” –
Duet with 2x Canadian Country Music Female Meghan Patrick
Unleashes a Tempest in a Power Ballad

Country music has always been about harnessing the drama that is real life. That authenticity of having been there, witnessing those moments whether harrowing or hallelujah, imbues the best songs with a larger force. For Michael Ray, who’d come of age playing central Florida’s icehouses, dive bars and honky tonks, when he heard “Spirits & Demons,” he knew he had something that melted down the tangle of how heartache makes you drink, booze makes you hurt and forgetting is the hardest thing to do.

“Sometimes you hear a song, and it hits you: that’s just how it is,” marvels the smoldering maverick. “You play enough bars beyond the city limits, you see it all go down. Really good people who get in their feelings, the way a good time or a way out becomes a bottomless pit. The more I listened, the more I thought it needed something else...”

That something else was a woman’s voice, both as a counterbalance and the echo of what was gone. Not quite a voice of reason, but certainly a measured reflection of how far gone, how deep the pain. Working with
Dive Bars & Broken Hearts’ producer Michael Knox, they talked about and listened to many female vocalists, seeking a voice that was just the right amount of passion, fire and raw ache to match the song’s emotional charge.

“We went through so many thoughts and names; they were all great, but nobody felt quite right,” Ray now laughs. “And it’s funny, because the answer was right under my nose. I’ve been friends with Meghan for years, in the way you’ve got your ‘Hey, I’m off the road. Wanna grab a beer?’ friends when you’re home for two or three days.

“So many of us are out there weeks at a time, chasing the dream. When you’re always gone, those friends who get you and get the commitment it takes, where you pick up right where you left off? They’re gold. Meghan’s not only a friend and a great hang, no matter who’s around, she’s got a voice that can blister concrete – and a gift to reach right into a song and rip its heart out, put it in her throat and meet you line for line with some intense emotions.

“Not only do I have the woman, who like so many things on this record, is exactly what I heard in my mind, but I’ve got someone who’s actually one of my friends. To be able to sing with her, that’s awesome; and to see how people responded at The 5 Spot, when we’d never sung it in front of people, that tells me everyone else feels what she brings to this song, too.”

With
Dive Bars & Broken Hearts available for pre-order, fans have been enjoying three songs already. A decided return to Ray’s harder country roots, Macon-born producer Knox upped the stakes in emotional engagement and how hard these songs hit. Already landing four #1s on the Country Airplay chart, Dive Bars & Broken Hearts reinforces a specific kind of country that comes from classic Hank Jr., Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty and an era of men of contrasts, both strong and sensitive, aware and tough.

After his sneak Dive Bars & Broken Hearts debut at The 5 Spot and his 71st appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, Ray and Patrick recaptured their magic at the Warner/Yeehaw Brewing Co. show to close out his CMA Fest. Now he’s back on the road, heading to Wildwood, NJ’s Barefoot Country Music Festival June 15 as direct support to Jon Pardi, People’s Natural Park in Johnston, PA June 16 and rejoining Pardi for WBCT’s Birthday Bash in Grand Rapids, MI June 17.

Melbourne's Suburban Spell shows some things are truly black & white on 'Natural Science', final single from 'Falling Down' EP (out June 23)

“Catchy hooks and delicate synth lines that soar... Stunning, deep, beautiful” ~ Auxiliary Magazine

"Fantastic... driving, propulsive, and unfiltered, examining the experience of “signing up to a life of suburbia at an early age, only to realise many years later that the suburban dream is all a fabrication"" ~
Post-Punk.com

“Catchy melodies and a subtle touch of old Xymox and New Order … Recommended” ~ Sonic Seducer

"Shimmering, smoothly frantic... freewheeling but taut... elusive but striking... one of our favorite records of the year” ~ Stereo Embers Magazine

As he gears up to release his new
'Falling Down' EP, Melbourne-based synthwave artist Suburban Spell unveils the video for his latest single 'Natural Science', following the lead track 'Bright Gold Cross'.

'Natural Science' is a statement on the weight of scientific evidence and the powerful push by doubters to challenge such knowledge based on baseless contradictory viewpoints. This song is so named in reference to the long-term outcomes of bad choices and giving into guilty pleasures.

Videos for both tracks were created by
Dingo Cross Films in Melbourne, being produced and directed by Paul Puccio and Cassie Dart.

Suburban Spell is the solo project of Peter Endall, who combines the austere beauty of Kraftwerk, 80's melodic sensibilities, driving rhythms and some noisy grind thrown in for good measure. Influenced by the heyday of new wave and 70's-80's electronica, this music carries the beautiful imprints of such artists as Ultravox, OMD, Visage, Jean-Michel Jarre, The Cars, Gary Numan and New Order.

Peter's previous band Schizo Scherzo was active in the heady days of Melbourne's 80's music scene, playing alongside such acts such as The Eurythmics, Pseudo Echo, Real Life and Fergal Sharky. Having re-emerged on the music scene as Suburban Spell, he has found his niche in modern Australian electronica.

"The concept behind 'Natural Science' was written about the baffling science deniers who gained a lot of momentum during the Covid 19 pandemic. How documented facts from the world's leading institutions were flatly rejected, based on a belief system that didn't align with a particular view point, coupled with selective research to echo whatever that belief system was." says Peter Endall.

"When that mind-set becomes a natural way of thinking, it's very difficult to offer an alternative view point, and Natural Science appears to be denied. I don't want to sound all knowing and it's good to challenge the accepted science, however I believe there are immutable laws of science that are irrefutable), what I call Natural Science."

Suburban Spell's music is a commentary on the fragility of suburban lifestyle, never-ending efforts to keep up appearances, and an exploration of society's dark and fragile underbelly. This music is also a commentary about Endall's own vulnerabilities in the urban landscape and the wider societal norms that interlace with politics, religion and pop culture.

The new EP follows the
'Split Levels - Remixes' EP (February 2023), a series of reworkings of his acclaimed 'Split Levels' album, involving goth-rock / post-punk legend William Faith (Christian Death, Mephisto Walz, Shadow Project, Faith & The Muse, The Bellwether Syndicate), along with New Zealand's Robots In Love, Australia's Ontic, Pittsburgh's Tragic Impulse and Italian artist Kurs.

'Natural Science' is out now and available from fine digital platforms, including
Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp, where the 'Falling Down' EP can already be ordered ahead of its June 23 release.

True Crime Duo SKYND Share "Edmund Kemper" Video — WATCH

SINGLE CONCLUDES CHAPTER IV + FEATURES A SPECIAL GUEST GUITARIST

BAND ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN HEADLINE TOUR + BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL IN AUGUST

Industrial-tinged and true crime-inspired electronic duo SKYND is the dark creative outlet and the alter ego of its lead singer, Skynd, and producer and multi-instrumentalist Father. They are known for taking inspiration from inexplicable and brutal criminal cases and the mystery surrounding unsolved deaths, and transforming them into songs to remind us of the darkness within the human psyche, while taking great care to avoid any glorification. Small clusters of songs have been released as EPs, titled in numbered chapters.

Today, SKYND concludes Chapter IV with the release of the new single "Edmund Kemper" and its accompanying video, directed by Anique Wild. The song features a mysterious guitarist as the special guest.  Watch the video
below.

Often asked why about each particular case that is covered Skynd comments, "There is a detail to this story that stuck with me and sparked my creativity to write about Edmund Kemper. As a young boy, Edmund liked to play with Barbie dolls and dolls. He 'took' their heads off and that made a sound like a 'pop,' performing funeral rites. While translating true crime cases into music, I have a visual idea of the song, and the dolls had to be in the video. It was important to me to show the beheading of the doll because it illustrates his crimes, without being too gratuitous."

Director Wild adds, "I had the great honor to translate Skynd's new song into a visual world. A hardly believable story of a brutal monster who could not appear more normal in the outside world. The video is meant to convey the values of this song in an artistic, visual way. Find the story behind the story — try to look behind the curtain."

ABOUT SKYND:
We all conceal something behind the earthly façade we show to the world. Maybe it's an unspoken fetish. Perhaps it's a covetous urge. Or it could just be the kind of darkness we acknowledge in passing —but don't dare reference out loud. SKYND peel back those layers and uncover what lurks beneath in all of its painful glory. The industrialized gothic electronic duo — Skynd [lead vocals] and "Father" [producer, multi-instrumentalist] —exorcize beauty by bloodletting as they mine some of history’s most baffling, bizarre, and brutal crimes across their EPs.

Conquer Divide Share "the INVISIBLE" — LISTEN

NEW ALBUM SLOW BURN OUT SEPTEMBER 8 VIA MASCOT RECORDS

CONQUER DIVIDE — the international five-piece band hailing from the U.S., U.K., and Canada who have generated accolades from Octane, Revolver, Alternative Press, Modern Drummer, Loudwire, and more — recently announced their new album. Slow Burn will arrive September 8 via Mascot Records. Pre-order it
here.

The band — vocalist Kiarely Taylor, bassist/vocalist Janel Duarte, guitarist Isabel Johnson, drummer Samantha Landa, and guitarist Kristen Sturgis— has today shared the new single "the INVISIBLE.
" Listen below.

"'the INVISIBLE' has many lived-in, emotional layers that paint a picture that takes you right back to your youth, especially if you are part of an alt scene and made to feel like an outcast," the band explains, offering insight into the song. "It confronts the dynamic between your true self and your desire to be accepted by the 'cool kids.' One day, you realize that you don't need to seek validation from those in a sad state of affairs. They project their insecurities onto others because they lack emotional maturity and self-esteem."

Landing on the Billboard charts, the band's 2015 self-titled debut racked up more than 30 million streams, driven by powerful tracks like the Kerrang! Awards Best Song nominee "At War." After a hiatus, CONQUER DIVIDE reemerged on the scene with the heavy and anthemic "Chemicals" in 2020, which Alternative Press called a "contender for best hard rock/metalcore crossover of the year."

The following year, "Messy" became the No. 1 Most Added on Billboard's Hard Rock Indicator Chart. Described by Rock Sound as a "monster" track "designed for arenas," "Paralyzed" offered the first taste of CONQUER DIVIDE's long-awaited sophomore album. Inspired by guitarist Kristen Sturgis' "harrowing experiences as a nurse amid the pandemic" (Revolver Magazine), the emotional and vulnerable "Paralyzed" was nominated by Metal Hammer for Best Metal Song of 2022. "FCKBOI," a collaboration with Electric Callboy, has been streamed over 13 million times on Spotify alone. They've had multiple singles on SXM Octane and were featured in the Next Wave Concert Series.

Slow Burn ushers in a new era for CONQUER DIVIDE, one defined by breathtaking sonic refinement, intensely personal lyrical storytelling, and a seamless balance between hard-hitting modern metal and irresistible melody. Slow Burn is stacked with confessional expressions of vulnerability, frustration, and, ultimately, hope. Each song on Slow Burn summons forth brand new levels of catharsis.

Nü Metal Upstart CINNAMON BABE Shares New Single “Bad Dog” + Music Video

Debut EP ‘Fatherless’ – Out August 25th

Pre-Save HERE

After taking the heavy music world by storm last year on the strength of singles like “Rock N Roll Is Black” and “Loose”, CINNAMON BABE is back with new music!

The solo project of model/actress Stormi Maya, CB returned with her first new track in over half a year with last month’s “Typecast” release. Proving her impact on the scene, “Typecast” was quickly added to streaming playlists like “New Blood” and “Heavy Queens” along with making her debut on SiriusXM as part of last week’s Octane Test Drive.

Today, CINNAMON BABE has dropped the second single off her upcoming debut EP – fans can check out the official music video for “Bad Dog” via the link below.

Speaking about the new song, Stormi Mays shares:

“The reason I made 'Bad Dog' is because I feel like, as women, we are expected to be well behaved, docile, and compliant in order to be accepted in society. Society does not seem to like women who are very loud and vocalize the things they have an issue with, especially as a black woman. I feel constantly silenced by society and when I speak up, I am called bitter or that I have a chip on my shoulder. I am constantly told by men to just be quiet and show my tits and look pretty. And I am constantly called a bitch for putting my foot down and setting boundaries. So, another way of calling me a bitch is by saying ‘Bad Dog’, i.e. I am a bad bitch. The world likes women that are well behaved, and I feel like because I express myself, don’t take shit, and use my sexuality to my advantage - I am the opposite of that.”

Watch the Music Video for "Bad Dog"

Commenting on her other recent single, “Typecast”, Maya states:

“I have felt 'Typecast' in real life. I started stripping/nude modeling/fetish work at a young age and I branded myself heavily in that light. At the time, it was offered to me and helped me make money and escape my foster care reality. I never knew that it would silence me for years to come.

"As I dove deeper into branding myself as a sex icon, it became more difficult to speak on issues that affected me and the world around me. I have always been vocal about race, gender, and sexuality issues, but that part of who I am has almost always been ignored. My voice has ignored for most of my life.”

CINNAMON BABE’s debut EP, ‘Fatherless’, will be released on August 25, 2023. Stay tuned for more details!

"CINNAMON BABE is letting everyone know where she stands

at the crossroads of rock and race."

— Loudwire

"On the incendiary single 'Rock And Roll Is Black' —

Influenced by Rage Against The Machine’s 'Take The Power Back',

she rails against the gatekeeping of metal from its black originators."

— Metal Hammer

"For Stormi, CINNAMON BABE is a labor of love, an expression of anguish and strength born out of a difficult upbringing and a devotion to alternative music." - Metal Sucks

"That anyone questions the black roots of rock in this day and age

is frankly flabbergasting but, again, it probably shouldn’t be.

Hopefully, the likes of Maya can educate a few people." — Idobi Radio

THY CATAFALQUE Premiere New Album

THY CATAFALQUE are streaming their new album on the Season of Mist YouTube channel. Listen to all nine tracks below.

'Alföld' is THY CATAFALQUE's 11th album and it shows once again the myriad ways that Tamás Kátai and his collaborators keep evolving. "Néma vermek" wraps things up by harkening back to the old-fashioned, pulverizing black metal that the band cut their teeth with during the early '00s. It's named after the Great Hungarian Plain, which is where Kátai grew up.

But 'Alföld' continues to push THY CATAFALQUE's experimental streak even further, leaning into fretless bass and wobbly synths that cast the same eerie glow as the The Twilight Zone. The album busts right down the door with "A scend hegyei", a progressive bent on doom metal that welcomes in Ahriman's Lambert Lédeczy, who grunts like a fire-breathing dragon.

'Alföld' will be released via Season of Mist on June 16, 2023. Pre-save the album
HERE or pre-order it from the Season of Mist store HERE

THY CATAFALQUE’s humble genius Tamás Kátai abandons any and all prenotions of tradition. Intertwining elements from a vast swath of unrelated genres, from jazz to pop to folk, and everything in between, THY CATAFALQUE masterfully crafts an eclectic sound that breaks down any generic barriers or borders. Following the massive success of 2021’s critically-acclaimed ‘Vadak’ the entity returns with ‘Alföld’ another esoteric monument in its already storied catalogue.

Originally, THY CATAFALQUE emerged as a black metal band founded by singer/keyboard player Tamás Kátai with the aid of guitarist/bassist János Juhász. Following their joined debut ‘Sublunary Tragedies’ (1999), the Hungarians evolved into quite different directalfons, but steadily gaining more followers in the process through the following albums, ‘Microcosmos’ (2001) and the self-released ‘Tűnő idő tárlat’ (2004).

On their fourth full-length, ‘Róka hasa Rádió’ (2009), THY CATAFALQUEinvited Ágnes Tóth from neo-folk outfit THE MOON AND THE NIGHTSPIRIT and Attila Bakos to add their haunting vocals. With fifth album ‘Rengeteg’ (2011), Tamás Kátai finally went solo with the help of guest musicians that again included Ágnes Tóth an Attila Bakos. Dubbing his eclectic musical amalgamation avant-garde metal, the Hungarian explored new sonic possibilities with ‘Sgùrr’ (2015). The sixth full-length turned out to be slightly more complex than its successor, ‘Meta’ (2016), which returned to a more direct approach without losing the steadily growing sonic diversity. In 2018, THY CATAFALQUE continued this path with the release of ‘Geometria’. THY CATAFALQUE delivered another spectacular musical mosaic with their ninth full-length entitled ‘Naiv’, inspired by the “Naïve Art” movement.

In 2021, THY CATAFALQUE return with ‘Vadak’. Meaning “Wildlings” in Hungarian, the album title is a deliberate clue to the exotic and feral essence of ‘Vadak.’ Like seedlings scattered throughout the forest by the mere forces of nature, THY CATAFALQUE’s imaginative sound grows with an organic sense of whimsy, cultivated within the vast influences of our megacosm. Thematically, ‘Vadak’ is a foreboding lesson in mortality. Emphasizing the fragility that is shared by man and beast alike, the record explores our Freudian life instincts, in which we inherently fear and run from the ultimate goal of existence: death.

At its core, ‘Alföld’ expresses the familiar hallmarks that are unique to only THY CATAFALQUE, and yet, it is an unpredictable magnum opus, returning to the raw side of Kátai and his esteemed co-conspirators. The album puts forth an elegance that cannot be matched or rivalled by any musical contemporary, taking fans on an adventure that is rife with excitement, drama, and unbridled craftsmanship.

Scotty McCreery Performs "It Matters to Her" on ABC's "Good Morning America"

SCOTTY McCREERY PERFORMS “IT MATTERS TO HER”
ON ABC’S “GOOD MORNING AMERICA”

McCreery Wraps Brooks & Dunn REBOOT 2023 Tour
as Final Weekend Kicks Off Tonight

Triple Tigers recording artist Scotty McCreery joined ABC’s “Good Morning America” to perform “It Matters to Her” yesterday, June 14. Joined by wife Gabi and seven-month-old son Avery, McCreery and his band launched into his latest smash hit and fastest rising song of his career. Watch the performance HERE.

Written by McCreery, Rhett Akins and Lee Thomas Miller, “It Matters to Her” highlights some of the wisdom the North Carolina native has gleaned through his marriage to Gabi, as the couple prepares to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary this month.

“I'm still learning, trust me — got a long way to go,” McCreery shared with
PEOPLE. “But it’s what I’ve learned so far. We put it all into a song, and it’s got a little kind of country vibe that I grew up with, and I just love it. I turn it up whenever it’s on the radio.”

“It Matters to Her” followed RIAA Platinum-certified No. 1 “Damn Strait” and RIAA Gold-certified No. 1 “You Time,” all found on his latest album Same Truck: The Deluxe Album. McCreery has earned five consecutive No.1 hits in the last few years.

Tonight, McCreery rejoins the Brooks & Dunn REBOOT Tour 2023 for three final shows this weekend before heading back out on the road in July for 25+ headlining dates through the fall.

McCreery is among six inductees in the 2023 class scheduled to be enshrined in the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame during the annual induction ceremony this fall. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in Mooresville, N.C. VIP and General Reserved tickets are available

Destroyer 666 Announce 'To The Devil His Due'

DESTROYER 666 won't slow down. K.K. and his band of black thrash bullies rose out of Australia back in the early '90s with the triumphant, blistering speed of a phoenix. Despite several lineup changes, they've been hammering out lean, mean blackened thrash metal ever since. Their last album came out just at the end of 2022 and it served as yet another ass-kicking reminder that these burly Aussies will never surrender to anyone's bullshit.

This year, DESTROYER 666 have been celebrating their upcoming 30th anniversary by bulking up their already impressive body of work. On June 23, the band are re-issuing their very first demo, which you can get your hands on at the Season of Mist store
HERE.

But before that happens, today, DESTROYER 666 are announcing another new release. 'To The Devil His Due' compiles four long out-of-print 7" EPs that originally came out between 1998 and 2010. This compilation only hint at the venom that would come at the hands of these bare-knuckle brawlers. But songs like "Satanic Speed Metal" and the spirited "Ghost Dance"  already burn with maximum fury.

'To the Devil His Due' is out on August 25, 2023 via Season of Mist. Pre-order the compilation
HERE

DESTRÖYER 666 continue to do what they are best at: kicking ass and hammering out heavy metal that is slamming straight into the face. No compromise, no sell out, no bullshit!

DESTRÖYER 666 don’t do whiny nostalgia but simply stick to their old school roots, which are reaching straight down into the golden age of metal while allowing themselves to sound fresh and remain relevant. The band originally started out as a solo project of BESTIAL WARLUST guitarist KK in Australia in 1994. As early as with debut album ‘Unchain the Wolves’ (1997), fast-tracked towards international acclaim.

The even stronger second full-length, ‘Phoenix Rising’ (2000) had the Australians relocating to Europe to be able to satisfy the soaring demand for touring and festival shows. After a round of line-up changes, third full length ‘Cold Steel… For an Iron Age’ (2002) cemented the band’s excellent reputation.

After a hiatus caused among other issues by disenchantment with the business, DESTRÖYER 666 returned with ‘Defiance’ in 2009 and followed up on this success with the rough and gritty ‘Wildfire’ (2016) seven years later that saw them touring and performing at all the relevant metal festivals worldwide on a regular basis again. The Australians filled the gap between the latest albums with the hard-hitting EP, ‘Call of the Wild’ (2018) that comes with a distinct taste of an unrepentant classic flavor.

The outlaws from down under deliver another pummeling and relentless lesson in aggression with full length number 6(66). ‘Never Surrender’ is a furious assault of black thrash, chainsaw riffs, and warlike drums, offering no moment of reprisal as it rages on for 40 unyielding minutes.

DESTRÖYER 666 takes no prisoners!

Return to Dust Announce "The Black Road" EP & Release New Video For "Belly Up"

The Los Angeles-based grunge trio, Return to Dust, have today announced their debut EP, "The Black Road" set for release on July 28th, 2023. Fans can pre-save the upcoming release HERE.

The EP announcement is accompanied by the release of their latest single "Belly Up". Fans can stream "Belly Up" HERE. Fans can also watch the brand new video, directed by Matt Akana, below.

Speaking on today's single release, co-vocalist Matty Joseph shares:

"Belly Up is a synopsis of our music taste, it’s got a 70’s chorus, 90’s rock riff, and a modern, Gorrilaz-like vocal flow that holds your hand throughout the song. If I remember correctly, I got stupidly high and, after listening to “Meatplow” by Stone Temple Pilots, cranked out the main riff on an unplugged guitar, rushing to my phone to record the idea. After writing the rest, we sent a subpar demo tape (that was at least 10BPM slower) to our producer Jim Kaufman. He heard the magic, and helped create the version you hear today.

The song is about failure, over and over again, and believing that you’re not worth the life you live. Trust us, those little failures are what shape you into the person you are today, embrace them with open arms. My dad always used to say, when you feel overwhelmed, lay belly up and let things pass."

Regarding their debut EP announcement, Matty continues:

"This is our first body of work, and I think it well illustrates the vibe of the band: angsty rock, with dark, cinematic themes and imagery. From thundering guitar and bass in “Black Road”, to the anthemic acoustic ballad “Anyway I Die”, we want to establish ourselves as a band with range who will, for decades forth, deliver new facets to the name and idea of Return to Dust.

We might be on The Black Road EP, but who knows where that road will take us. As with every moment in time, this is merely a diary entry."

Return to Dust, who are heavily inspired by the legendary Alice In Chains, have already cultivated a reputation in the local Los Angeles music scene without having released any music on streaming platforms. The release of "Black Road" marks the band's first ever studio release, produced by none other than Jim Kaufman (Anti-Flag, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet). With their remarkable cinematic approach, the rock trio are on track for an unforgettable year of touring and new music. Be sure to stay tuned for more Return to Dust news coming soon.

WHAT THE PRESS ARE SAYING:

""“Black Road” is a killer track. Everything hits hard. The vocals are fierce yet remain melodic. The guitars ring with fire while the monstrous bass line is brazenly defiant. In addition, it was produced by the illustrious Jim Kaufman (Anti-Flag/Helmet). “Black Road” is the perfect vehicle for Return to Dust to showcase their remarkable cinematic approach. This is a band with a stupendous future."

My Amp Music

"Meet Return to Dust, a heavy rock band with songs reminiscent of the grunge era with a modern twist."

Music Scene Media

"Black Road" has also been featured on independent playlists such as Prelude Press' "Music That Doesn't Suck", CHARM Music Magazine's "New Music Friday", NAS 101's "New Artist Spotlight", Get Rocked's "Best New Music", and more.

Southern California fans also have the chance to see Return to Dust LIVE twice this month ahead of the upcoming EP release.

June 17 - Fontana, CA - VFW - Tickets HERE.

June 23 - Long Beach, CA - Que Sera - Tickets available at the door.

Don't miss your chance to see the band perform "Black Road" and "Belly Up" live, alongside other unreleased music!

ABOUT RETURN TO DUST

‘How will you fare against the stress of life’

Return to Dust has always felt like a hidden gem, a band that could have fallen straight from the 90’s, but stands proudly among the musical landscape of today. This is perhaps a gesture towards the timelessness of grunge’s existential yet relatable message, which spoke to and landed them 30+ recordings with decorated producer and mixer Jim Kaufman.

Despite this trajectory, the band had fallen into one of the myriad of “new band” curses, which is meticulously and quietly planning out their debut release. Thankfully, the band committed to their craft long before showing their faces, as singers Graham Stanush (bass) and Matty Joseph (guitar) formed an eternal bond growing up in the cement capital of Texas. The singers carried this passion to the west coast, where they met their then 16 year old guitarist Sebastian Gonzalez.

Now assimilated, Return to Dust has already made its mark, touring up and down the west coast, playing Vegas, Phoenix, every slummy bar in San Gabriel Valley, and personally gaining a stamp of approval from Matt Pinfield on KLOS —- the band is a ticking time bomb to hundreds of eager fans.

Their new single “Black Road'' is a four on the floor heavy rock anthem about self-sacrifice, and forging your own path, released on all platforms April 27th. You can watch the "Black Road" here.

ABOUT PALEFACE SWISS

Since the release of their third album, 'Chapter 3: The Last Selection', independent outfit, PALEFACE SWISS have gained international recognition throughout the Deathcore and Beatdown Community. Known for their huge, aggressive riffs, brutally bombastic rhythm section, frontman, Zelli's outstanding vocals and a pinch of humor. This is Switzerland’s finest heavy music. Across their catalog, the band have gained 40 million streams and 6.7 million YouTube views.

PALEFACE SWISS was formed in Zurich, Switzerland in 2017 by vocalist Marc Zellweger (Zelli) and drummer Colin Hammond (CJ) having met through a mutual friend in 2016. After bonding over a shared love of beatdowns and hardcore, Zelli and CJ shook hands at a concert in 2017 and promised they would create the craziest beatdown band ever together. They released their debut ‘Chapter 1: From The Gallows’ in 2018 and played their first show in October 2018 and quickly grew in popularity with the song “Deprivation Method”.

In early 2019, Paleface started writing ‘Chapter 2: Witch King’ and started working on the final installment of the dark story they’d created with Chapters 1 & 2. ‘Chapter 3: The Last Selection’ was released on October 30th 2020, spawning four music huge tracks “Curse Us”, “The Rats”, "Lights Out" and “Skalpell” which quickly ranked high in the beatdown/hardcore charts and saw the band become cover stars on Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist.

In 2022 the band released their most ambitious and brutal album yet, 'Fear & Dagger'. The album was widely considered a huge step up for the band as plaudits began to roll in for frontman Zelli's vocal ability, Metal Injection accurately summed it up in their review by saying, "It's fun to get caught up in Paleface's unrelenting instrumentals, but Zelli's really the star of Paleface. This is largely because he treats his screams like rap bars." The album shot the band into the upper echelons of the "deathcore renaissance" and spawned singles "The Orphan", "Deathtouch", "Dead Man's Diary" feat. LANDMVRKS frontman Florent Salfati and most recently, fan favourite and stylistic curveball, "My Grave / Lay with Me". The album focuses on more mature and critical topics related to the fears and struggles young people have to contend with in the 21st century, most importantly, the topic of mental health.

The album's technical proficiency and no-holds barred brutality, coupled with Zelli's unique delivery and highly emotional lyrics struck a chord with fans worldwide, racking up 15 million cross-platform streams, nearly 1 million YouTube views and saw the band's monthly Spotify users increase by over 300%, currently at 320k. It was released to much acclaim with New Transcendence stating "Paleface have created one of the most emotionally relevant and intriguing beatdown releases to date" and Wall of Sound calling it "an unashamedly brutal and angry album" and calling the band

As Metal Injection so astutely put it in their review of 'Fear & Dagger' - "Stop pretending to be cultured, and get down with the beatdown.".

Elle King Rolls Coast to Coast and Beyond for Summer 2023 Tour

Teams With Diplo on new song “Without You” out June 23

CMA Fest hosted by Dierks Bentley, Elle King & Lainey Wilson to air July 19 on ABC

Since the beginning of the year, Elle King released her critically acclaimed album Come Get Your Wife, wrapped her sold-out headline “A-Freakin-Men” Tour presented by Slow & Low, surprised a beloved teacher and fan at her high school in Oklahoma, performed a standout set at Stagecoach, co-hosted the four-day CMA Music Fest in Nashville, and officiated a wedding.

Yesterday, she and Diplo announced the June 23 release of “Without You,” a new song they collaborated on. And with the official start of summer less than a week away, King is packing her bags for a road trip that will take her coast to coast and beyond with shows in Canada and more than half of the states in the U.S. including Hawaii, North Dakota, Maine, Florida, and her native Ohio.

“Playing music and having fun with everyone is what summers all about,” said King who hits the stage tonight with Dierks Bentley in Raleigh, NC at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek.

Her summer of fun tour includes shows with friend and duet partner Dierks Bentley, Jelly Roll, Melissa Etheridge, Eric Church and two shows at Radio City Music Hall with Tyler Childers. King recently released her version of Childers’ fan favorite “Jersey Giant” to radio. Since its inception in 2015, the enigmatic ritual collective HEILUNG has been paving melodic paths to the past with their unique and mystifying sound. Evading all conventional genre tags and the confines of any specific labels, the group aptly self-describes their sound as “amplified history,” emphasizing their ability to connect modern society with the rudiments of humanity’s beginnings through music. HEILUNG once again journeys back in time with its new chapter, ‘Drif;’ however, unlike previous offerings that centered around prehistoric northern Europe, album number three will explore other great rudimentary civilizations outside of Europe.

“All the songs on ‘Drif’ have their own stories,” adds HEILUNG throat singer and one of the band’s three composers, Kai Uwe Faust. Each has its place and sense of belonging, with inspiration not only from Northern Europe, but from the ancient great civilizations,” explains the band. “We took the ancient surrounding advanced civilizations in account, because our ancestral Nordic civilizations did not just pop up, exist and disappear in isolation. Already in the Bronze Age, we found silk on German land that was imported already from the far, far East 3000 years ago. From the Viking age, we found beads that were brought there from present-day Syria high up in the Northern mountains.

“Centrally important concepts, still in extensive use today, like the number Zero and all the mathematical universes deriving from it, the use of iron and the general concept of settling all originate from traditional high civilizations outside the north and still fundamentally changing our ancestor’s world.

“With singing these primordial songs we want to give tribute to these cultures, reconnect to the beginnings and remember that we all, from East to West, from past to present, are connected through the exchange of ideas and inspiring each other.”
Meaning “gathering,” ‘Drif’ serves as more than merely a gateway that bridges history with modern day society, but is also a statement of the strength in unity and togetherness, which will come as no surprise to those who have experienced HEILUNG’s live ritual, in which every ceremony starts with a reminder that “we are all brothers.” “‘Drif’ means ‘gathering,’’ explains HEILUNG. “A throng of people, a horde, a crowd, a pack. In symbiosis with the album title, ‘Drif’ consists of a flock, a collection, a gathering, a collage of songs, that much like little flames were seeking towards each other, to join, to bond, to create, and be greater together.”

While HEILUNG features authentic and archaic instrumentation that ranges from rattles and ritual bells to human bones and throat singing, their captivating brand of music is far from primitive. Producer and founding member Christopher Juul implements subtle electronic elements that elevates the musical atmosphere and provides a more in-depth and layered soundscape.

“This album has very clearly dictated its own path. Our attempts to tame it were repeatedly fruitless, and once we came to this realization, the creative flow surged forward with immense force. So much so that sometimes it felt like the songs wrote themselves,” the band adds.

HEILUNG’s success has been unprecedented, achieving milestones in its few short years of existence that many do not see in a lifetime. The collective already had rapidly been growing a buzz upon the self-release of their first full-length, ‘Ofnir,’ in 2015, but their dizzying upward trajectory really took off from the moment they set foot on the stage at Castlefest in 2017 for the now-legendary debut of their live ritual. Luckily for those who were not fortunate enough to bare witness to this magical event, the full ceremony was captured on film, having since been viewed by tens of millions of fans across the globe.

As HEILUNG trekked across Europe and brought their mystifying experience to new audiences, talk of this new band and their stunning ceremony made way to Season of Mist label owner Michael Berberian, who quickly offered the band a record contract after seeing their undeniable musical impact for himself.

By 2019, HEILUNG launched their second full-length record, ‘Futha,’ which contrasted the masculine and battle-heavy themes of their debut with a feminine counterpart that celebrated fertility and female energy. Upon the first week of the record’s release, it graced the Billboard charts with coveted numbers, debuting at #3 on the Heatseekers Charts and #4 on the Billboard World Music Chart, placing on a total of seven Billboard charts while meeting critical-acclaim from the press on a global scale.

Having already made its way around Europe, HEILUNG announced its first ever North American tour for the start of 2020, which sold out entirely within 72 hours of ticket on-sale. The band later returned to the United States and performed their live ritual for a sold out audience of 10,000 people at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO (USA), further solidifying their early legacy status.

By this time, the band’s music started to appear in places outside the confines of music venues, videos, and vinyl. From hit television series like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Vikings’ to video game giants like ‘Conqueror’s Blade VII: “Wolves of Ragnarök’ and ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ to the blockbuster Robert Eggers film ‘The Northman,’ HEILUNG’s music has risen far above the underground and has transcended into a greater world. Even a global pandemic couldn’t slow down HEILUNG’s success; it only strengthened them and gave them the gift of time to complete work on album number three, ‘Drif.’

According to Greek philosopher Pythagoras, three is a divine number, signifying harmony, wisdom, and understanding. He also believed it to be the number of time – past, present, future; birth, life, death; beginning, middle, end. Purposefully or not, ‘Drif’ embodies this philosophy, putting forth a divine work of art that ties together the beginning of civilization with the modern world today. Make no mistake, HEILUNG still does not represent any modern political or religious ideology, but rather delivers a humbling reminder of where we came from. “Remember, we are all brothers. All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind, we all descend from the one great being that was always there, before people lived and named it, before the first seed sprouted.”

Strait’s Record-Setting Streak Continues in Seattle

STRAIT FANS SET NEW STADIUM RECORD IN SEATTLE: 59,142

Strait Duets Stapleton-Penned “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing”

and “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright” in 30+ Song Set

Weeks ahead of his show, The Seattle Times predicted the “era-spanning country great” would be one of the biggest shows of the season, and tonight at Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, Sounders FC and OL Reign, 59,142 — a new attendance record for a concert — turned out to welcome George Strait back to the Emerald City.

Marking his first time performing at Lumen — having last played in Tacoma on his Cowboy Rides Away Tour on April 12, 2014 — the Texas troubadour kicked things off shortly after 9p, commencing his illustrious 31-song set.

As one of only a handful of remaining chances to see Strait this year, the crowd reveled in the opportunity, erupting in response to Strait’s saunter to stage and simple salutation, “Hello Seattle!”

With 60 No. 1 singles to pull from — and 25 Top 10s — the 89x Platinum music icon played offerings spanning from 1981’s Strait Country to 2019’s Honky Tonk Time Machine.

Midway through set, Strait welcomed Chris Stapleton to the stage to perform “Pancho and Lefty” followed by two songs the 10x GRAMMY winner penned for Strait: “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing” and “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright.”

A few stadium shows remain this year: Nashville, Tennessee on July 28 & 29 and Tampa, Florida on August 5. For more information and to purchase tickets to upcoming dates, visit

Resolve Announce New Album "Human" + Share Video For Title Track

RESOLVE are proud to announce details of their forthcoming album Human.

Their second full-length album will be released on September 15 via Arising Empire and will feature recent singles "
Death Awaits" and "Move To Trash." Pre-order it here, as limited colored vinyl, CD, together with unique merch options at the Arising Empire Shop, Impericon, and band shop.

To coincide with the album announcement, RESOLVE have also shared the video title track "Human" which is out today on all streaming platforms.

Watch the video
below.

"'Human' is a very important track to us," says bassist Robin Mariat. "From the moment [vocalist and primary songwriter] Anthony [Dliberto] first played us the original demo in his room, it was obvious that we had something very special here. So much so, that we decided to make it the title track of the second album! It's a very industrial vibe, which is a direction that we haven't explored much in the past, but what I'm particularly pleased with is the fact that it 100% retains the Resolve essence, with titanic breakdowns and melodies. It's probably our most cinematic track yet though, which is something I'm sure a lot of fans will be very happy about.  It's very Isaac Asimov-inspired, telling the tale of a humanoid being, half-clone, half-robot, that questions everything about its existence, its consciousness... just like we humans do."

Having just finished a run on the road with While She Sleeps and also a European co-headline tour with Siamese, Resolve show no signs of slowing down.

RESOLVE released their debut album Between Me and The Machine in 2021 and had support from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, Metal Hammer and Kerrang! Radio, while their tracks were rightfully placed on Spotify editorial playlists like New Core, New Metal and Kickass Metal.

RESOLVE ARE:
Anthony Diliberto — Vocals
Antonin Carré — Guitar
Robin Mariat — Bass
Nathan Mariat — Drums
