EIVØR - announces new studio album Tungl; unveils song Drekafljóð / Dragon Maiden

Transcendent Faroese artist Eivør has unveiled the next phase of her remarkable artistic journey. On October 16th this year, Eivør will release her new studio album, Tungl, the Faroese word meaning ‘moon’.

Eivør has offered a deeper glimpse into her newest musical vision with the release of new song Drekafljóð / Dragon Maiden accompanied by a breathtaking video filmed in Svínadalur, Iceland, by director Krassasig (Kristinn Arnar Sigurðsson). Watch Below.

Eivør imparts about the song:

"I’m excited to share my new song, Drekafljóð / Dragon Maiden, with you.

The song is a tribute to the fierce, intuitive force that lives within us all. While my previous single, Healer, explored resilience, Dragon Maiden feels more like an awakening, a reminder of the power that has always been within you.

The song began as a poem that had been quietly living in the back of my mind for a long time. I wanted to capture that beautiful, liberating feeling of letting go of the need to control everything and opening yourself to whatever life may bring. I invited one of my favourite poetic minds, Marjun S. Kjelnæs, to finish the poem with me, and I’m so proud of what we created together.

I produced and recorded the song with my partner in crime, Tróndur Bogason, and my band. I wanted it to feel playful and danceable, while still carrying an undercurrent of melancholy. I love the contrast between movement and stillness, light and shadow, and I think this song lives somewhere between those worlds.

Dragon Maiden is about trusting your intuition, embracing uncertainty, and finding the courage to surrender to life's unfolding. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is stop trying to control everything and simply allow ourselves to be carried forward. I hope this song encourages people to reconnect with that part of themselves."

If Eivør’s last album, Enn, marked the beginning of a darker, more atmospheric phase, her forthcoming release, Tungl – the Faroese word for ‘moon’ – and her first for the powerhouse German metal label Nuclear Blast, sees her reach further into elemental realms than ever before. Immersive, unmoored and steeped in a sense of time-stretched drama where familiar marker points give way as an inner compass emerges over its 10 searching tracks, it’s an album also in tune with a very contemporary need for navigation, self-belief and rejuvenation in the most uncertain of times.

As Eivør herself says:

“Tungl explores the ever-changing cycles of life – its songs move between moments of tenderness and heartache, love and loss, and the emotional tides that shape us. Like the moon that inspired its title, Tungl serves as a gentle guide through life’s darker passages, illuminating the beauty, resilience, and transformation found along the way.”

STORMHAMMER Release Brand New Studio Album Wrath Of The Hammer

German heavy metal torchbearers STORMHAMMER celebrate the release of their brand new studio album, Wrath Of The Hammer, out now via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music. Packed with thunderous riffs, soaring melodies and the band's unmistakable blend of classic and modern power metal, the album marks another triumphant chapter in STORMHAMMER's longstanding career.

Following the previously released singles, Wrath Of The Hammer is now available in its entirety, inviting fans to experience a powerful collection of anthemic songs fueled by epic storytelling, commanding vocals and relentless energy. Order your album copy, one that belongs into every well-sorted heavy and power metal record collection, here: https://stormhammer.rpm.link/wrathalbumPR

Following the acclaimed album Seven Seals, STORMHAMMER open a new chapter with Wrath Of The Hammer. The band's new studio offering combines traditional heavy metal roots with thrash-driven guitars, epic melodies and progressive elements while staying true to the band’s unmistakable identity.

“This album feels honest and alive," guitarist Christos Efstathiou says. "We challenged ourselves creatively while staying true to what StormHammer is about. There’s power, emotion and adventure in these songs.”

“Wrath of the Hammer reflects all generations of Heavy Metal," Phil Meyer (guitar, backing vocals) comments. "The old school, the melodic, the anthemic and the modern. That’s exactly who StormHammer are as a band today. We didn’t want the album to be purely melodic power metal. StormHammer has always had a more raw side, and we wanted to push that further by bringing in thrash elements, modern metal and even some ’90s punk roots without losing the band’s heavy metal identity.”

Vocalist M.Nox adds: “We went into this album with the idea that we didn’t want to play it safe. We mixed in elements of Thrash, Symphonic and Classic Metal while keeping it true to StormHammer’s Power Metal roots. With this album, you will hear StormHammer in a way you have not heard before.”

Recorded at Mastersound Studio with producer Alexander Krull, the album delivers a massive production, atmospheric arrangements and renewed creative energy throughout, showcasing a band that continues to evolve while remaining a vital force in modern power metal!

Following the successful release of their debut album Winners Write History in 2024, Swedish female-fronted rock band MARYLANE have returned with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Seventh Sense, Out Now. The band have released the official music video for the album's focus track, "SEVEN.".

A powerful and emotionally charged anthem, "SEVEN" explores the internal struggle of battling personal demons while searching for peace and clarity. WATCH Marylane - "SEVEN" Official Music Video Below:

Once upon a time, nestled in a corner of the bustling city, there existed a magnificent amusement park named Marylane, which was operated by Marymaker the Clown. He was perceived by the public as both terrifying and captivating, and there were rumors that he possessed the ability to attract both light and darkness simultaneously, as if he were a master of duality. During the park's prime, one could hear the excited cheers of visitors from afar and the sound of carousels roaring under the summer sun. However, as the years went by, fewer and fewer people found the time to visit the amusement park, leaving Marymaker with a deep sense of abandonment.

The very thing that he had once been so passionate about now seemed to wither away and rely solely on artificial respiration. Filled with desperation, Marymaker embarked on a journey to find himself, only to encounter chaos and despair at every turn. One evening, while lost in his own thoughts, Marymaker overheard a group of people gathering on the Tivoli stage to compose music. There was one particular melody that caught his attention, as it exuded both sadness and hope. Intrigued, he felt compelled to venture out and discover the source of this captivating music. Could it be that the songs were about him?

Marylane is a swedish rockband formed in 2023 and draws inspiration from vintage sounds infusing them with a modern intimate touch. With their music they delve into the depths of the human experience exploring the paradoxial and existential questions that haunt our minds. Their sound is a harmonious blend of captivating melodies, groovy rythms, ephic choruses and introspective lyrics.

SERIOUS BLACK Announce New Studio Album Keeper Of The Light; First Single & Video "Last Man Standing" Out Now

Power metal force SERIOUS BLACK has announced the release of their brand-new studio album, Keeper Of The Light, arriving on January 29, 2027 via PERCEPTION – A Division Of Reigning Phoenix Music. In support, the band will embark on an extensive tour throughout Europe with RHAPSODY OF FIRE and support bands.

Marking the band's next chapter, the album once again showcases everything fans have come to expect from SERIOUS BLACK: massive guitar riffs, driving rhythms, soaring melodies and the unmistakable vocals of Nikola Mijic, all wrapped in a powerful, modern production by Mario Lochert and Bob Katsionis.

Bringing together energy, emotion, melody and uncompromising power metal passion, Keeper Of The Light continues the band's impressive evolution while staying true to the sound that has earned them international success, frenetically-acclaimed live shows worldwide and a loyal fanbase.

The album is now available for pre-save and pre-order: https://seriousblack.rpm.link/keeperPR

To celebrate the announcement, SERIOUS BLACK have released the album's first single, "Last Man Standing," accompanied by a brand-new official music video. The song delivers an uplifting anthem about perseverance, self-belief and refusing to give up, even when faced with doubt, ridicule and resistance.

"For me, this song is more relevant than ever when you look at today's society", Mario Lochert reveals. "Someone who believes in themselves, pursues their own goals and wants to achieve something is often laughed at or not taken seriously. You hear comments like: 'You'd be better off learning a proper trade' or are simply labelled a weirdo. It was no different for me back then. But the initial laughter later turned into envy and resentment. Last Man Standing is precisely about this journey and about staying true to your own path despite all the opposition."

Stream the single: https://seriousblack.rpm.link/standingPR

Watch the official video below:

Since their formation, SERIOUS BLACK have established themselves as one of the leading names in modern power metal. Combining the experience of musicians from renowned metal acts with memorable songwriting, crushing guitars, anthemic choruses and emotionally charged melodies, the band has built a strong international reputation.

With multiple charting releases, more than 200 concerts worldwide, and acclaimed performances at major festivals and tours across Europe, Asia and beyond, SERIOUS BLACK continue to prove why they remain one of the genre's most compelling live acts. Keeper Of The Light perfectly captures the band's trademark blend of power, melody and passion while pushing their sound forward with renewed energy.

All of the eleven songs on the album will see SERIOUS BLACK stylistically return to its roots. Straight, classic power metal - the sound the band once became known for - reigns again. "The return to what once characterized us was already indicated on "Vengeance Is Mine" and "Rise Of Akhenaton"," Lochert explains the natural evolution of the band and adds: "Since joining five years ago, our singer Nikola Mijic has turned out to be a real jewel for us. Because of his expressive voice and his intuitive feeling for great melodies, the songs have gained more clarity and a more direct presence."

SERIOUS BLACK is:
Nikola Mijic – Vocals
Mario Lochert – Bass

Olive Vox Announce Debut EP; Drop New Single "Hear Me Out"

Texas alt-rock quartet Olive Vox return with their new single and official video “Hear Me Out”, out now via Big Machine Rock. The track arrives alongside the announcement of the band’s forthcoming EP, Trace It Back, set for release on Friday, September 18. Fans can stream “Hear Me Out” HERE, watch the official video BELOW, and pre-order / pre-save Trace It Back HERE.

Built around the exhausting weight of guilt, memory, and self-punishment, “Hear Me Out” pulls Olive Vox deeper into the emotionally direct world that has been taking shape across recent singles “BABYDOLL”, “T.A.N.G.O.”, “Dying Breath”, “14 Years”, and “We Are Not The Same”. Sharp, urgent, and unflinching, the track finds the band wrestling with the version of yourself you cannot quite outrun, even when everyone else has already made peace with leaving it in the past.

Speaking on the new single, Olive Vox share:

“Hear Me Out” is about being trapped in a loop of guilt where you just can’t seem to move past your own history. While you recognize that others can judge you based on your past actions—and you accept their right to see you that way—the real struggle is your inability to do the same for yourself. You feel stuck in a cycle of self-punishment, constantly replaying old mistakes and making healing impossible. It’s that raw, exhausting feeling of knowing you deserve to move on, but being unable to let go of the version of yourself you used to be.”

The accompanying video mirrors that emotional pressure, drawing viewers into the band’s increasingly defined visual world of distorted nostalgia, fractured memory, and familiar spaces made strange. Across both the song and video, Olive Vox continue to sharpen the contrast that sits at the centre of their rising identity: a young band writing with uncommon weight about grief, self-destruction, regret, and the slow, ugly work of trying to change.

The single also opens the door to Trace It Back, a debut EP that gathers the band’s recent output into one emotionally connected body of work. Across the EP, Olive Vox move through past mistakes, toxic cycles, personal reckoning, and the uneasy freedom that comes with finally saying the quiet part out loud.

Speaking on the EP, vocalist Parker James shares:

“The Trace It Back EP compiles past and pre-existing transgressions. I aimed to be more direct and honest in my lyrics, rather than being elusive. I found myself oversharing personal details, which led to regret and overthinking. Due to my anxieties, I became very closeted and shut off. Realizing that it was actually affecting me more than just being my true self, I decided I wouldn’t care about what I wrote as long as it made me happy. This EP serves as a collection and a snapshot of a time and place in my life where I was struggling.”

The announcement comes as Olive Vox continue to build serious momentum both online and onstage, now surpassing 1.5 million cross-platform streams and 1.89 million YouTube views. Following recent US runs with Badflower and Raue, and a recent appearance at Camp Woodward, the band will join The Toadies for a full US support run beginning August 6 in Charleston, SC and wrapping October 3 in Ventura, CA.

Legendary Hard Rockers TESLA Release New Album 'Homage' — Out Now via Frontiers Music Srl

The acclaimed American hard rock band TESLA is proud to release their new album, 'Homage,' out now via Frontiers Music Srl. Marking a full-circle moment in their storied career, the album finds the band returning to their roots with a collection of covers honoring some of rock’s most timeless hits.

To celebrate the announcement, the band shares their rendition of The Temptations' 1967 classic, "I Wish It Would Rain." The track arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

Brian Wheat comments:

"'I Wish It Would Rain' is a nod to one of the greatest singers of all time, David Ruffin. It's a great song, and I've always loved it. One of the things I'm most proud of about TESLA's version is that I think David Ruffin would be proud to hear Jeff sing it. He did an amazing job on this one. As far as the band goes, there are lots of bands that can play. I'm proud that TESLA has developed the maturity to know when not to play. With a song like this, it could've easily gone the other way. We could've overplayed it and added all kinds of extra parts that would've been too much. Instead, we stayed true to the original arrangement, with five guys playing very sparsely and letting Jeff's vocal carry the song."

Watch the Official Music Video for “I Wish It Would Rain”

It is remarkable to reflect on the more than 40 years since TESLA began as a cover band performing in California nightclubs before going on to write and record original material and sell millions of albums.

Much like their musical heroes — The Beatles and The Rolling Stones—artists who honed their craft by performing songs from those who came before them, TESLA followed a similar path in their early years and continues to embrace the tradition of paying tribute through cover songs today.

‘Homage,’ the band’s new album, not only honors legendary artists but also provides an opportunity to showcase lead singer Jeff Keith's vocal diversity. The album stands as a thank-you expressed through music, an offering to the iconic voices and songs that shaped the band’s influences and, ultimately, their own songwriting.

'Homage' is not about imitation, but acknowledgment, tracing the line from influence to identity, from listening to becoming. The project also arrives more than 20 years after the ‘Real to Reel’ series, a release that helped inspire the creation of a new original TESLA song, “Never Alone.”

The selected songs on 'Homage' were chosen for a variety of reasons, primarily representing some of the greatest vocalists of all time, including Elvis PresleyFreddie MercurySam CookeDavid RuffinEtta James, and James Brown. Additional selections reflect songs the band grew up hearing on the radio and on their turntables.

On the new album, TESLA shares:

"Our new album 'Homage' is a thank-you note written in sound. An offering to the great singers and songs that shaped the music we grew up listening to, and the songs we would eventually write. We hope you all enjoy this as much as we did making it. Thank you for all the years - Keep it Real and Keep On Rockin'!"

TESLA is excited to be hitting the road this summer on The Return of the Carnival of Sins Tour with Motley Crue and Extreme. Sage Partner With Pinknoise for "Cold Blooded"

SAGE are an East Coast rock band hailing from the extremely fertile musical grounds of New Jersey. Founded in 2023, the band consists of accomplished musicians — vocalist Mike Rafter, vocalist and guitarist James Benedetto, guitarist Chris Coletti, and drummer Nick Perrone. Connecting on a shared passion for timeless rock with a more modern energy, the four piece quickly forged a sound that feels both nostalgic and new.

They share the video for new single "COLD BLOODED," featuring PINKNOISE. Listen here.

Watch the video Below:

"'Cold Blooded' is about confronting someone who has built themselves on deception and manipulation," says Perrone. "The lyrics in this song were written from the perspective of someone who has had enough of lies, excuses, and empty promises. There's a lot of frustration in realizing that someone you trusted isn’t capable of taking accountability and hides behind a false version of themselves. I think the aggression behind the song's instrumental is a good representation of that feeling as well."

He continues, "Writing this song was a really cool experience for all of us. We wrote this song with producer Hiram Hernandez in his studio in L.A. The session was incredible. Our good friend PINKNOISE was in the studio with us from the start of the instrumental writing process all the way to the end. We are all super fans of PINKNOISE and there's nothing more special than having their vocals on this song to commemorate the experience and our collaboration on this song. We are very excited to have this song in our arsenal and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it."

In 2024, SAGE released their debut EP, Heartwired, marking a major milestone in the band's journey. The project showed off the band's natural talent in songwriting, helping to expand their audience and build momentum throughout the scene. The EP introduced listeners to their unique blend of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and heartfelt lyrics, proving that they are a band on the rise.

Looking to spread positivity and good vibes through their music, SAGE aim to remind the world of the healing power of music and the importance of self expression. With high energy live performances and a genuine connection to their fans, the band continues to grow, evolve, and make their mark.

For Minute After Midnight, "It Was Never a Phase"

MINUTE AFTER MIDNIGHT, the brainchild of Derrick Ryan that sprouted from the fertile musical grounds of Nashville in 2016, is back with a new track, "It Was Never A Phase." Watch the video below

Minute After Midnight continues to welcome listeners into his world. Ryan has mastered the art of moody melodics that feel at once wholly intimate and crafted in a bedroom all the while sounding huge and ready for the main stage. When he declares, "What if I disappear? / What if I run away? / Would you still be here / Or would you just walk away?," his pain and passion is palpable in his vocal delivery. This anthem will have fans waving their arms back and forth while singing in unison. There's a fearlessness to Minute After Midnight's music, where peeling back the layers and exposing the nerve via music exists as the only therapy he needs.

"'It Was Never a Phase' reclaims the phrase that defined a generation and gives it a new meaning," says the artist. "It's not about refusing to grow up — it's about realizing that some parts of us never leave, no matter how much life changes around us. The song explores the tension between who we thought we'd become and who we still are, turning old wounds into a reminder of how far we've survived."

Midnight After Midnight, who signed to Fearless Records in 2025, cannot and will not be tethered to any genre parameters. Last year, Minute After Midnight shared new tracks "MASOCHIST" and "Unleash the Beast" and closed out 2025 with the video for the re-imagined version of his previously released hit single "GHOST (Reimagined)."

RISING SINGER/SONGWRITER KINSLEY RELEASES “WHIPLASH”

On the heels of the announcement of her signing with MCA, rising singer/songwriter Kinsley releases “Whiplash,” a fiery track that taps into her lifelong love of rock music while remaining grounded in country storytelling. Listen to “Whiplash” BELOW.

“This song leans into my rock influences,” shares Kinsley. “Growing up listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin, it’s always been one of my favorite genres, and it brings so much energy and spirit to ‘Whiplash.’”

Written by Kinsley alongside producers Devin Dawson and Josh Kerr, “Whiplash” follows the release of her debut song “Pieces of Me,” which introduced listeners to her introspective songwriting through themes of heartbreak, identity and healing.

While that track looked inward, “Whiplash” turns its gaze outward, channeling sharp wit and unapologetic attitude into a story of karma coming full circle:

As Kinsley continues to build momentum following her signing with MCA, “Whiplash” marks the latest preview of a growing body of work that showcases both her fearless songwriting and genre-spanning influences.

Kinsley first connected with audiences through her “Midnight Sessions” on YouTube — intimate performances that offered an early glimpse into her deeply personal songwriting. Watch HERE.

From growing up in California, to learning music on her family’s land in North Carolina, to moving to Texas in high school before eventually settling in Tennessee with her family, each chapter has left its mark on both Kinsley’s perspective and her sound.

ABOUT KINSLEY
MCA singer-songwriter Kinsley creates music rooted in honesty, healing, and human connection. Having grown up across California, Texas and Tennessee, her music reflects the many places, experiences, and perspectives that have shaped her. Blending vivid storytelling, poetic lyricism, and raw, soulful vocals, the Nashville-based artist writes the kinds of songs that make listeners feel seen and understood. An “old soul” with a lifelong passion for poetry and songwriting, Kinsley approaches music as both emotional refuge and personal expression — creating deeply human songs that live at the intersection of vulnerability and healing. Hunter Hawkins' "Seeking Release (reimagined by Kenny Loggins)" Available Now

Hunter Hawkins revisits one of their most personal songs with the release of “Seeking Release (reimagined by Kenny Loggins),” a sweeping new interpretation of the standout track from the 2021 EP Phase. Produced by Kenny Loggins, the recording expands the emotional scope of the original while preserving its deeply personal message, offering a powerful preview of Hawkins’ forthcoming full-length album. Listen below.

Following a series of difficult conversations with loved ones during a trip to visit extended family, Hunter was looking for space to process the feeling of not being heard or understood. They spent an afternoon alone along the shoreline in La Jolla, where, overlooking the Pacific and surrounded by sunbathing sea lions, they began writing the lyrics and melody for “Seeking Release.” Just days earlier, Hunter had received a scratch guitar track from soon-to-be co-writer Kevin Mahany as an invitation to collaborate. Listening to the recording through their phone, Hunter drafted lyrics in the Notes app and captured melodies in Voice Memos, laying the foundation for what would become one of the album's most personal songs.

Originally released on Phase, “Seeking Release” returns as “Seeking Release (reimagined by Kenny Loggins),” a complete reworking created for Hawkins’ forthcoming full-length album. Instead of simply revisiting the original recording, Hawkins and Loggins rebuilt the song from the ground up with new arrangements, musicians and instrumentation, transforming it into a cinematic centerpiece. String arrangements by Ben Plotnick and Kaitlyn Raitz deepen the song’s emotional impact, carrying it from quiet introspection to an uplifting sense of release.

“‘Seeking Release’ came from a time when I was trying to make sense of feeling unseen and unheard,” says Hawkins. “Writing it helped me realize that the answers I was searching for weren’t going to arrive from somewhere else. They had to come from choosing to let go, trust the process, and allow myself to feel everything instead of fighting it.”

Anchored by lyrics that wrestle with surrender, healing and the desire to be understood, “Seeking Release” asks difficult questions without settling for easy answers. As the song builds from intimate reflection to an expansive orchestral finale, it ultimately reminds listeners that peace often begins when we stop waiting for permission to embrace who we are.

“Seeking Release (reimagined by Kenny Loggins)” stands as one of the defining moments on Hawkins' forthcoming album, reflecting both the vulnerability and artistic growth that continue to shape their music.

CARLY PEARCE RETURNS TO APPALACHIAN ROOTS IN TIMELESS NEW BLUEGRASS TRACK “WHAT IF YOU LOVED ME” WITH DAN TYMINSKI AND MOLLY TUTTLE

GRAMMY, CMA and ACM-Award winning country star Carly Pearce highlights her Bluegrass and Appalachian roots in timeless new song out today, “What If You Loved Me” with two of the genre’s powerhouses, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle. Rich vocal performances melt into tight harmonies as they sing about longing and possibility, layered on top of Tyminski’s mandolin and Tuttle’s clawhammer banjo and guitar. Simultaneously classic and contemporary, “What If You Loved Me” honors tradition for a standout offering from the trio. Listen to the track HERE and watch the official music video BELOW.

“Bluegrass is such a cherished part of who I am as it’s where I got my start,” says Pearce. “To record a song that honors my roots with two artists that I have deep respect and admiration for is not only a special moment, but very emotional. 10-year-old Carly who grew up singing in bluegrass bands would be over the moon to know she has a song with Dan and Molly (as is present-day Carly!). This is the perfect moment in my career to show fans this side of my heart.”

“What If You Loved Me”  is the latest preview of Pearce’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, Honest Woman, which will arrive August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Co-produced by Pearce with longtime collaborator Ben West, Honest Woman sees Pearce embrace every aspect of who she was, is, and will become through narrative-driven lyrics and a sonic return to form. Including features with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle, the album leans into her bluegrass origins and focuses on authentic country craftsmanship. Honest Woman is an ‘honest’ portrayal of life’s journey delivered by a woman who understands that it’s the fullness of time that defines you. Pre-order, pre-add, and pre-save the album HERE and find the full track list below.

In addition to today’s release, Pearce’s forthcoming album will include current single and “blockbuster duet” (Billboard) with Riley Green, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,” along with the “lilting portrait of a femme free spirit” (MusicRow) “She Don’t,” the “delightfully snarky & sassy” (Music Row) “You Can Have Him,” “honest anthem” (Rolling Stone) “Church Girl” and the “unfiltered, introspective” (Billboard) “Dream Come True.” As Pearce is readying Honest Woman, each track continues to define “the tone for her most vulnerable era yet” (The Tennessean).

Kicking off September 10 with two nights in Detroit, Pearce will bring her “Honest Woman: Up Close” live shows presented by Conundrum Wines to intimate venues in Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Toronto and Boston before concluding with two nights in New York City. The title OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is itself a warning: a caution against a world in which the rise of AI has come to symbolize humanity’s growing confusion over what it means to be human. More than a framework of “against AI” or “against technology,” this album calls for the liberation of the soul in response to a world that is steadily being bleached of color, and to the brutality of people who, having stopped thinking for themselves, continue to hurt one another. That is the reason coldrain continues to fight. And OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is the album where that essence appears more youthful, pure, and unfiltered than ever before - a human fuse burning toward ignition.

Coldrain, the quintet that is about to release their 8th album, first emerged in Japan in 2007, proudly identifying themselves as a “loud rock” band. Their songwriting, heavily influenced by the nu-metal and emo/screamo movements of the 2000s, resonated directly with the youth culture of America at the time. Yet in the Japanese rock scene of that era, “loud music” was still largely associated with melodic punk and pop-punk. As a result of that advance, coldrain absorbed musical elements far beyond nu-metal and screamo alone. While maintaining melodies that carried a distinctly Japanese sense of emotion, they transformed into a chimera capable of crossing through every subgenre of rock. Their ability to be both heavy and endlessly pop became their greatest weapon.

Now, especially since joining forces with Century Media Records, the very fact that their music cannot be defined by a single attribute - and the very “in-between” quality of their style - has become a musical identity unconstrained by borders or genres, radiating an originality that stands among the strongest in the world.

coldrain are a band whose lives were changed by music that could never have been born in Japan, and yet they themselves are a hybrid that could only have emerged from the Galápagos-like environment of Japan. That is coldrain. Rather than needing to acquire a new place, coldrain were able to turn simply “being themselves” into music in its most unfiltered form. As a result, OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is pierced throughout by a youthful rawness that feels almost impossible for a band nearing twenty years since its formation.

IN THIS MOMENT KICK OFF NEXT ERA WITH NEW SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO "CRAWL" — WATCH // NEW ALBUM "WITCH" OUT 8/28

IN THIS MOMENT, the GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum heavy alternative force of nature, return today with a new single and music video entitled "Crawl." Listen HERE. Watch the music video BELOW.

Most importantly, however, it heralds the arrival of their ninth full-length offering and debut LP for Better Noise Music, WITCH, on AUGUST 28. Pre-order + pre-save HERE.

"Crawl" seethes and surges in signature IN THIS MOMENT style. Anchored by a gut-punching riff and seismic vocals courtesy of inimitable frontwoman MARIA BRINK, the song sets its hooks in, holds tight, and never lets go. It's worthy of obsessing over—like all of the group's best material over the years.

About the track, IN THIS MOMENT, Brink offers, "'Crawl' is a reckoning — a reflection that those who dominate and cause pain will ultimately reap what they sow. As above, so below. The fall is inevitable. Bearing witness to the harm they inflict, the song declares that those who once stood tall will be brought to their knees."

Co-founder and guitarist CHRIS HOWORTH furthers, "'Crawl' is a visceral track that delivers the undeniable observation of powerful entities dominating and abusing the weaker and compromised masses — something that continues to repeat itself throughout human history. The song empowers and, at its core, is about standing up and fighting back."

However, it's just the beginning. WITCH showcases every side of IN THIS MOMENT: The fury, the femininity, and the fire. It's an 11-track opus that does not relent in intensity and introspection. However, the band didn’t go it alone. This time around, the band tapped friends Dayseeker for "I Want To Believe,"; Kim Dracula for "Heretic,"; and Kat Von D for a cover of the Pink Floyd classic "Another Brick In The Wall."

"WITCH is my declaration of inner transformation," states Brink. "It's about embracing the duality within — taking pain, persecution, and struggle — and alchemizing them into strength and power. The album reflects both ancient trials and my own journey — where being a 'witch' means being a creator, connected to the universe, manifesting my own reality."

The spell has been cast. Allow WITCH to possess you.

ITM teased this chapter with "Sleeping With The Enemy." Beyond reeling in over 1 million streams, it earned critical acclaim. Rock Sound hailed it as “blistering,” and Revolver plugged its power.

Led by the magnetic presence of Brink, the band has turned its fusion of spectacle, vulnerability, and massive melodic hooks into a global phenomenon, earning platinum-certified success and more than two billion career streams along the way.

IN THIS MOMENT will tour this fall as part of Taste Of Chaos. All dates are below.

OCEAN SLEEPER Release "My Forever Drug"

Regional Victorian metalcore four-piece Ocean Sleeper today reveals the third taste from their forthcoming sophomore album Peace When I'm Deadout August 21, in the form of new single "My Forever Drug." Listen below.

"My Forever Drug" was written in collaboration with Ocean Sleeper and L.A. producers Jon Lundin (Point North, Sleeping With Sirens) and Curt Martin (Catch Your Breath, Kami Kehoe). It was engineered in Melbourne at Ocean Sleeper guitarist and clean vocalist's Ionei Heckenberg's Studio and mixed and mastered in Portland by Jeff Dunne (Wage War, Knocked Loose, Motionless In White, Disturbed).

Right before kicking off their US tour last year, the band holed up in L.A. to write. It was the band's final day in the US, and a session that almost didn't happen at all. A chance, last-minute call brought them together with Jon Lundin (co-writer on "Break The Cycle") and Curt Martin at Curt's L.A. studio. What followed was pure lightning in a bottle: "My Forever Drug" was written, recorded, and finished, start to finish, in just six hours. No overthinking it, no second-guessing — just a song that showed up fully formed and got out of its own way.

Arriving alongside a haunting music video that completes a three-part narrative journey — one that began with their debut single "Break The Cycle" and continued through "Peace When I'm Dead." The visual pulls no punches, portraying a man trapped in an agonizing time loop, forced to relive the same devastating moment again and again: The loss of his partner to suicide. True to form, Ocean Sleeper refuse to look away from life's darkest corners. With "My Forever Drug" and its gut-wrenching accompanying video, the band once again prove their rare gift for confronting the heaviest, most deeply buried emotions — naming them, honoring them, and setting them free into the world so others might find their own reflection in the pain.

"My Forever Drug" is the final single to arrive prior to the release of Ocean Sleeper's sophomore album Peace When I'm Dead. Capturing the weight of grief, guilt and regret, Peace When I'm Dead showcases Ocean Sleeper's ability to vulnerably explore the darker corners of the human experience, confronting inner turmoil, depression and profound emotional lows head on. The exploration of acknowledging, expressing and releasing deeply felt negative emotions gives Ocean Sleeper's music a great sense of catharsis and connection.

"After finally breaking into global touring and just returning from another tour throughout the UK and Europe, it gives new meanings in multitudes, appreciation and gratitude for people connecting with our songs," says Karl Spiessl, Ocean Sleeper's vocalist and manager. "Playing the sold out shows overseas and having people already knowing every word to the new songs as well as the old songs is an incredible feeling."

Having fully warmed up on their recent UK/EU tour, Ocean Sleeper will treat Australian fans this September when they hit the road on the Peace When I'm Dead Tour presented by New World Artists and Fireball AU. Their biggest national headline tour begins at Liberty Hall in Sydney on Friday 4th September, hitting The Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Saturday 5th (SOLD OUT), Magnet House in Perth on Thursday 10th, Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide on Friday 11th, and ending with a massive home state show at the Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 12th September. With Brisbane sold out and tickets to remaining shows flying, fans are urged to get in quickly to avoid missing out. These shows mark just 5 of the 82 shows the band will play across the world in 2026/2027.

Ocean Sleeper hails from Gippsland in regional Victoria and now stands as the region's biggest and one of the country's most exciting metalcore exports. Their background is core to their identity and the deep connection they share with fans. Despite hailing from a small country town, Ocean Sleeper have never let geographical limits stand in their way — tearing down barriers and defying expectations at every turn. Through fierce self-sufficiency and brutal persistence, the metalcore four-piece have built a vehemently loyal fan base and following throughout Australia, the U.S., and Europe.

GLORYHAMMER Release Video for New Single "Ultimate Sacrifice"

Power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER share the first single off of their upcoming album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, coming October 16 via Napalm Records.

"Ultimate Sacrifice" is a sweeping track filled with epic storytelling. Elder God Kor-Virliath is back to conquer the universe after Zargothrax’s failed ritual, and the Space Kingdom of Fife seems forsaken. But GLORYHAMMER are ready to fight and tell the tale of one of the biggest battles yet — the choirs and orchestral arrangements of "Ultimate Sacrifice" are a first glimpse into the more diverse range of influences and higher production value that the band brings to their catchy songwriting on Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath. The new track is accompanied by an animated video directed by Alex Henderson. In the style of a TV series, it follows the summoning of Kor-Virliath and the heroes' quest to fight him – to the bitter end.

GLORYHAMMER about "Ultimate Sacrifice":
"Mighty warriors! Prepare for battles of galactic steel! Will Angus McFife V fulfill his dream of flying away on a unicorn? What was the true fate of the Hootsman after he imploded? Find out now, in the next episode of GLORYHAMMER!"

The enemies of Dundee tremble as exalted power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER announce their long-awaited fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath! Due for release on October 16 via Napalm Records, the album is a direct sequel to 2015's Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, continuing the epic saga of the McFife dynasty. Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath follows Angus McFife V, the Crown Prince of Fife last seen in 2022's single "Fly Away," as he ventures into a perilous journey across spacetime that will lead him to the distant future of 1993, where his destiny lies.

Across 11 tracks, the band of heroes draws upon a more diverse range of influences than ever before, without ever compromising on the hook-driven, memorable songwriting that they are known for. From classic power metal to thrash, high energy synth rock to vast, sweeping orchestral soundscapes and more. Produced by the band themselves and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe), this is GLORYHAMMER as you've never heard them before.

Will Angus and his allies prevail in this titanic struggle? Or will the galaxy plunge into demonic chaos? Join GLORYHAMMER and find out – For the Eternal Glory of Dundee!

GLORYHAMMER about the new album:
"Mighty warriors, rejoice! The almighty GLORYHAMMER return triumphantly with a new chapter in the long and tumultuous history of the Intergalactic Empire of Fife. Multidimensional wormholes, abandoned space stations, and EPIC BATTLES await at the final frontier of Space 1993. FOR THE ETERNAL GLORY OF DUNDEE!"

AXTY Unleash New Single "who I am"

Today, Brazilian metalcore rising stars AXTY unveil the next look into their forthcoming Napalm Records debut album, The Pain Made Me Who I Am, out August 21 via Napalm Records. "who I am," the record's pummeling second track, leverages infectiously groovy riffage with some tasteful record scratching, factor in some inhuman growls, death slams, and a truly anthemic chorus and you have the makings of a certified nu-revival anthem.

Frontman Felipe Hervoso on "who I am":
"‘who I am' is probably one of our favorite songs we've ever written. It has everything we love packed into a single track: Catchy choruses, groovy guitar riffs and drum parts, some filthy deathcore animal noises, and to top it all off, a The Office meme that drops straight into a caveman breakdown at the end. 'who I am' also carries one of the most meaningful lyrics on the album. 2025 was a rough year for us, both personally and as a band. A lot changed. Some people tried to tear us down, but we made it through, and we'll keep coming back stronger, louder, and more determined than ever."

Watch the Official Music Video for "who I am" Below:

With their new album, AXTY explore universal lyrical themes of self-evolution through harnessing pain and resilience born from adversity, transforming negative experiences into fuel for growth. Moments of barbarism and serenity all tied together with infectious grooves, pristine production, and an unwavering dedication to brutality. Throughout its 12 tracks, The Pain Made Me Who I Am proves AXTY as a visionary force to watch in the ever-expanding modern metalcore scene — inarguably poised for star status as they climb the ranks.

AXTY about The Pain Made Me Who I Am:
"The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are."

The Pain Made Me Who I Am delivers the goods from note one as earth-shattering intro track "pain made me" pulls out all of the stops — crashing in with dense down-tuned guitar chugs beneath hip-hop charged samples. Anthemic "who I am" showcases the band's seamless, genre-pushing blend with intense polyrhythmic deathcore passages and soaring metalcore melodies, while tracks like "all I love" incite pure metallic violence with the band’s erratic trademark guitar acrobatics, hypnotic drum patterns and addictive vocals — both crushing and clean — showcasing the broad talents of frontman Felipe Hervoso, drummer Gabriel Vacari, and guitarist Jonathas Peschiera. Particularly, Hervoso's keen ability to dramatically tilt his vocal approach from crooning cleans to virtually superhuman screams, growls and squeals will have his name on the lips of deathcore vocal enthusiasts in no time. Songs like "nothing but pain" inject heavy doses of the futuristic metalcore fusion AXTY has become lauded for, while album standouts like first single/album closer "end this" weave alternative and even nu-metal flavor into the album's addictive mix.
