“This song leans into my rock influences,” shares Kinsley. “Growing up listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin, it’s always been one of my favorite genres, and it brings so much energy and spirit to ‘Whiplash.’”
Written by Kinsley alongside producers Devin Dawson and Josh Kerr, “Whiplash” follows the release of her debut song “Pieces of Me,” which introduced listeners to her introspective songwriting through themes of heartbreak, identity and healing.
