Kenny Chesney Takes You to "Silver Sands Marina" in Video Out Today

In a world of singles and tracks, it’s easy to forget the power of a song that delivers not just the smallest details, but the emotional tidal waves that exist long after a moment has faded. For Kenny Chesney, who announced his 21st album and second teaser with the title track to Silver Sands Marina, the sweeping midtempo so completely painted the place and sensations, there was only one thing to do: make a video.

“When you hear the song, it’s so perfectly drawn, you almost can’t believe it’s real,” the man Wall Street Journal called “The King of the Road” says. “But, of course, it is a real place – located on Lake Winnipesaukee – where generations of families and friends have tied up their boats, checked in, enjoyed the water and being together. You can feel all the happiness and fun people have had there the moment you step on the property.”

Ablaze with curiosity, Chesney wanted to see what inspired the song’s ability to hold such subtly indelible feelings. Realizing it was a family owned business, the 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee decided to – almost in keeping with the song’s off-season storyline – check-in, and create a video that instills hyper-local, off-the-beaten-path places with an innocence and charm that transcends the bigger, slicker reality of today’s escapes.

Filming on a grey day shortly after recording the title track of his Sept. 25 release, Chesney is seen in single performance pieces around the pier, the motel and marina’s property. Filming outside the traditional tourist seasons, the Silver Sands Marina delivers that anticipatory tension that it isn’t abandoned, but waiting on something – and Chesney’s to-the-camera vocals and guitar-playing suggest a witness to all that has happened there.

“Like the song, there’s a sense this place can’t be real,” Chesney says. “When you pull up, it’s even more wonderful than the pictures. You can feel people’s lives have played out here; kids who’ve met, grown up together, occasionally gotten married and brought their kids there; fishing trips and reunions. And, as my song suggests, the occasionally unexpected encounter where you meet someone who sees you for all that you are – even if it’s only for a moment.”

Working with longtime collaborator Shaun Silva, Chesney fashions a clip that surrenders expectations for a full immersion in the moment. Those downstrokes on his acoustic guitar an extension of the passion; his vocals transporting himself – and the viewer – to a memory that retains all of its vibrance. Whether an empty pool waiting for summer, knotty pine wood and tired pink paint, or lake water rippling, the clip offers a real-world escape from the mundane.

So taken with the setting, Chesney and photographer Allister Ann documented the day turning to night. Whether portraits of the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar or almost portraits of the setting itself, the photographs delivered a different feel for the stadium-sized headliner. They also suggest the emotional depth beneath the album’s feel-good moments and simple wisdom.

Built around a memory that will last a lifetime, the song and video suggest escape is as much a state of mind as it is the rainy afternoon, 20-dollar blinds, pink painted walls, wet sand, bicycles propped up, a sky that’s red, orange and blue and a mug stolen as a talisman of the encounter.

Like “Carry On,” which closed out the entire country radio reporting panel in its first week, “Silver Sands Marina” provides a new way of looking at something pretty common. But in that truth that exists right where you are, there’s also the freedom of knowing magic has a way of arriving in unlikely places.

“When the song came in, it took me some place,” Chesney marvels. “But it also said a lot of things about where we can find real fulfillment. For me, the more I listened, the more I knew I had to see this place… And once I did, I knew I had to show it to all the people like me, who dream of freedom and escape, but who also know showing up is the spark that makes it happen.”

DEAD/ASLEEP Unleash Crushing New Single "Victimless" – A Powerful Statement from Rock and Metal's Newest Supergroup

"Victimless" is a cautionary tale of the many possible perils of immersing one’s self in sympathetic introspection and/or the lengths one may go to in order to justify karmic debt accrual. Part defiance. Part guilt. The paradox of straddling the line between ignorance and self awareness. Half awake or half dead? #sleepwalkyolowithorwithoutconscience

Some collaborations are born from opportunity. Others are forged through experience. DEAD/ASLEEP is the latter.

Comprised of members from Drowning Pool, Fire From The Gods, Flyleaf, Live, and Crobot, DEAD/ASLEEP arrives with a sound that refuses to fit neatly into a single genre. Fusing crushing grooves, atmospheric heaviness, emotionally charged melodies, and deeply introspective lyricism, the band delivers modern heavy rock and metal that is both sonically punishing and emotionally resonant.

Their debut release, "Victimless," introduces listeners to a band unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths. Driven by massive riffs, haunting textures, and an undeniable sense of urgency, "Victimless" examines the dangerous cycle of self justification, guilt, and personal accountability.

ABOUT DEAD/ASLEEP:

DEAD/ASLEEP is a heavy rock/metal band featuring members from Drowning Pool, Fire From The Gods, Flyleaf, Live, and Crobot. Combining crushing grooves, massive hooks, and darker emotional themes, the band’s debut singles “Better Off Dead” and “Victimless” explore paranoia, identity, and survival through a raw, atmospheric sound built for fans of emotionally charged heavy music.

SOURCE Release Cover Of RADIOHEAD's "Optimistic"

Rooted in heavy psychedelic prog rock, dynamic and introspective trio SOURCE present the new single "Optimistic". In their take on RADIOHEAD's track, SOURCE demonstrate their compositional style with a modern sound that carries depth through intentional instrumental layers.

On the new release the band shares,
"When we decided to cover 'Optimistic' we really wanted to showcase our love for the song while bringing our own voice to the arrangement. I think our version has a lot of similar ingredients, but the way we choose to highlight those ingredients really displays our unique approach and sound. The tones are much heavier, the tempo is faster so it feels like there's more energy, and the way we flip the ending into a heavy riff is my favorite part of our version."

While honoring the dark mood and atmosphere of the original, SOURCE bring an assortment of brighter and more distinctive textures into their design. The band's use of enhanced contrasts from the grounding bass lines to melodic vocals and heavy distortion to subtle backing harmonies, leads to striking full-bodied sonic impact.

About SOURCE:
Based out of Boulder, Colorado, SOURCE was originally formed in 2014 by Benjamin Gleason, Dan Crisafulli, and Georges Bou Serhal. With founding member Benjamin Gleason now joined by Justin Mirarack on drums and percussion and Pascal Faurie on bass, the trio craft immersive music inspired by their own introspection and transformative practices.

While SOURCE explore self awareness, healing and personal evolution through their lyrics, musically they situate themselves in the realms of heavy psychedelic prog rock. Instrumental layers, powerful and emotive harmonies and a wide range of dynamics leads to a sound that is melodic with an enveloping feel.

The band's first album Return To Nothing released in 2016 via Pavement Entertainment and that same year saw the band embark on the Forged in Fire Tour opening for HELLYEAH, IN FLAMES, and FROM ASHES TO NEW. Totality arrived in 2019 through Pavement Entertainment, followed by independently released albums Ethereal Self in 2021 and Emergence in 2023.

SOURCE's interpretation of RADIOHEAD's "Optimistic" lands ahead of their forthcoming fifth full-length album.

STEVE HACKETT & STEVE ROTHERY launch ‘The Black Sea’; first track taken from their long-awaited collaborative album ‘The Roaring Waves’

Two titans of progressive music, Steve Hackett (Genesis) and Steve Rothery (Marillion), come together on ‘The Roaring Waves’ - a striking and deeply atmospheric instrumental album shaped by memory, imagination, and the elemental power of the sea. The record has been much talked about over the years, and it will now finally see the day on August 28th 2026 via InsideOutMusic.

Years in the making, The Roaring Waves brings together seven instrumental compositions that move fluidly between the cinematic and the intimate, as Hackett explains, “It’s not the kind of album that guitarists normally make together.”

Written and recorded intermittently over nearly a decade - with sessions at Racket Club and the duo’s home studios - the album emerged from an organic, improvisational process. Jams and shared ideas form the backbone of the music, allowing both players to explore a collaborative dynamic defined by sensitivity and mutual respect.

Throughout ‘The Roaring Waves’, the duo embrace a painterly, almost filmic approach to composition - crafting music that invites listeners to drift, imagine, and immerse themselves. “You’re trying to create an atmosphere… like painting a picture,” says Rothery. “Taking people on a journey.”

Coinciding with the announcement is the launch of the album’s first single, ‘The Black Sea’, accompanied by a stunning video featuring Hackett & Rothery performing alongside album collaborators Riccardo Romano (who also co-wrote, mixed and played keyboards & bass), & Leon Parr (drums). Watch the video, directed by Tim Sidwell, below:

Steve Rothery comments: “I think The Black Sea is the perfect introduction to the sonic world we’ve created between us. We have a very special chemistry.”

Steve Hackett adds: “For ‘The Black Sea’, our joint guitar sounds with the keys created a strong vibe of intrigue along with a sense of a musical dark sea adventure…”

The album is also available to pre-order on several formats, including a Ltd CD+Blu-ray mediabook edition including Dolby Atmos (by Andy Bradfield) & High Resolution Stereo mixes. The album will also be available as a Standard CD & a Gatefold 180g LP, cut at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell. All feature artwork and layouts by Simon Ward. Single Gun Theory / Delerium vocalist Jacqui Hunt unleashes ethereal masterpiece 'Desiderium'

Iconic Australian indie-pop singer-songwriter Jacqui Hunt has officially released her deeply anticipated "Desiderium" album with focus track "Cape of Light". Marking a profound artistic milestone, the album is a superb collection that moves through deeply personal reflections on grief, loss, healing and love. Released through her independent label QUSP alongside musical collaborator and husband Brian Conolly, "Desiderium" beautifully pairs sonically abstract, smooth synths with raw, organic pop structures—resulting in a cinematic body of work fused together by the ethereal thread of Jacqui’s poetic radiance.

Best known as the iconic vocalist and co-writer for electronic pioneers Single Gun Theory and a prominent guest vocalist for dreampop trailblazers Delerium, Hunt makes a triumphant return to center stage with this solo record. Merging elements of Kate Bush, Tori Amos, and Beth Gibbons, she describes the sonic landscape of the album as "like stepping out of your body for a while and grounding back to earth — floating on a synth wave while holding the raw reality of a simple piano. The bones that connect to the human voice like a string of air as it floats to the ether and returns to base."

Her first album in 18 years, "Desiderium" serves as both an ending and a beginning, deeply rooted in the circle of life and the passage of time. Named after the Latin noun for a profound yearning for something lost that cannot be replaced, this record reflects the emotional weight Hunt felt when unexpectedly losing both of her parents within a two-year span. With an overarching theme of longing and devotion, Hunt explores the desire to reconnect with what is now absent, delivering a poignant reminder to embrace one's authenticity and honour the "inheritance" of life.

The album's focus tracks showcase this striking versatility. "Planet" is an electro-ethereal soundscape building to a rhythmic frequency of dreamy vocals that merge into space, initially born from a poem sent by Conolly from overseas and transformed spontaneously by Hunt into a long-distance love song. Conversely, "Cycles" presents a raw, melancholic piano ballad of heartfelt simplicity. Enveloped in powerful symmetry, its music video was created by Kade Stenders, a young filmmaker whose parents (famed film director Kriv Stenders and photographer Lisa Stonham) directed several videos for Hunt's pioneering electronic band, Single Gun Theory, decades prior.

38 years after the debut of Single Gun Theory's landmark release "Exorcise This Wasteland", the band's timeless relevance was highlighted just recently when their music was featured on the Paris runway for French fashion house Chloé’s Winter 2026 parade. Hunt also achieved global recognition 29 years ago through her pivotal involvement with Delerium, collaborating as songwriter and vocalist on "Euphoria (Firefly)" for the seminal "Karma" album.

Jacqui Hunt’s stellar trajectory stands as a testament to her enduring impact across the global independent landscape. Her diverse solo and collaborative catalog includes her 2008 debut album "Auraphonic"—featuring the film-licensed track "Calisthenics" —and creative pursuits like the design duo CiiVE, alongside standout vocal contributions for Paul Mac, Vision Four 5, and David McClymont of seminal post-punk band Orange Juice.

'Desiderium' is out June 26th on CD and limited edition vinyl. Also available digitally, the album experience is complemented by the "Alice Magic (K.I.M Remix)", a re-envisioning of the original track by K.I.M (Kim Moyes) of legendary Australian electronic duo The Presets. All of this music is available across digital platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

Five Finger Death Punch Announce New Album "Legacy" + Release New Single "De Oppresso Liber"

Today, multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch announce their highly anticipated tenth studio album, Legacy. The digital version arrives July 31 pre-order here while the CD, vinyl, and cassette versions will land on September 18 — pre-order here.

"Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests," declares guitarist Zoltan Bathory. "It's a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we've experienced over the last two decades."

He furthers, "What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn't make it alone. We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other's lives. That's an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later."

Vocalist Ivan Moody continues, "At the same time, Legacy isn't about looking backward. 20 years is a milestone, not a destination. We're incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we're headed next."

He finishes, "Our philosophy has always been that this journey doesn't come with a self-imposed ceiling. Every goal we've reached simply revealed another horizon beyond it. We never believed the sky was the limit; if anything, it's where the true journey begins. Here's to our shared legacy."

The brand new song "De Oppresso Liber" is out now. Listen to the song and watch the video below:

"'De Oppresso Liber' is more than just a motto," states Bathory. "It's a calling. It's a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. Throughout human history, there have always been people who were drawn to accept that responsibility. This song is our way of paying respect to that mindset."

The first single from the album released just last month, "Eye Of The Storm," is already Top 5 at Rock Radio this week and has already generated over 3.9 million Spotify streams and 1.6 million YouTube views on the official lyric video. Revolverhailed it as "Huge," going on to praise how "it mixes a flurry of battering metal chugs with a sense of melody, plus Ivan Moody's pensive-but-barked lyrics hinting at fears, regrets, burdens, blame, and the search for some kind of inner peace." Loudwire raved: "The song is a driving, furious banger that kicks off what's expected to be a new album cycle in grand fashion."

This summer, Five Finger Death Punch, will embark on the 1st leg of the 20th Anniversary World Tour which will take them all across North America with special guest Cody Jinks, and Eva Under Fire before hitting arenas in the UK/EU with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within in early 2027.

The 20th Anniversary World Tour is both a celebration and a statement, honoring the band's journey from their 2005 formation and release of their debut album, The Way Of The Fist, in 2007 to global arena headliners. The tour will showcase material from the new album, alongside classic anthems and #1 hits that defined the past two decades.

Produced by Live Nation, the 48-city North American tour kicks off on Monday, July 20 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ, and wraps up in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live on Friday, October 23.

In addition to celebrating two decades of music, the band is once again using its platform to give back. Long recognized as one of the most charitable bands in rock, Five Finger Death Punch has spent decades giving back to various causes, including U.S. military veterans and first responders and their families. In 2026, the band is continuing that tradition by supporting Team USA and aligning with the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games being held on American soil in Los Angeles in 2028. As part of the tour's commitment to championing America's next generation of athletes, a portion of the ticket sales from the 2026 North American Tour will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for international competition.

The band's most current albums, Best Of – Volume 1 and Best Of – Volume 2, feature newly re-recorded versions of Five Finger Death Punch's biggest hits and are available HERE.

SYMETRIA Release New Single + Lyric Video "The Game" via Curtain Call Records

Hard rock/metal band SYMETRIA have unveiled their powerful new single, "The Game," available now through Curtain Call Records, alongside an official lyric video. Recorded at SoundMine Studio in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, "The Game" was produced and mixed by acclaimed producer Dan Malsch.

"The Game is really about the two games of life," explains the band. "The finite game is one you can play to win, and then it's over. The infinite game is different. It's played so that existence can continue and future generations have a game left to play. If not enough people are participating in that infinite game, everything eventually falls apart, and there are no games left to play at all."

The accompanying lyric video brings the song's themes to life, highlighting the tension between competition, purpose, and the enduring struggle to preserve what matters beyond ourselves.

Symetria has hit their 10 year mark running full steam ahead with a new EP All or Nothing releasing summer of 2026 on Curtain Call Records. This marks Symetria's 3rd release, and their second with Curtain Call.  Behind that comes a support lineup that makes it hard to deny the bands presence is growing both locally and on a national scene.

The band will be in New Jersey on Saturday, June 27th with an appearance at The NJ Metalfest XI. A show that has itself grown to be one of the NJ underground metal scene's premier annual events. After that they make their triumphant return to Reverb in Reading PA on Saturday, July 25th as the sole local opener for this summers first leg of the Metal Church tour.

A few short weeks later on Friday August 14th at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds, Symetria is in the company of an impressive list of local and national talent selected to support the Coal Region Music Fest. This is an event put on annually to raise funds and awareness to the local veterans support agencies in the region.

Then comes a huge road trip out to Bloomville, Ohio, where Symetria gets to stretch their legs for the Smoking Cole's Bike Rally an 8 Day event where the band lands themselves a Saturday night slot opening for the legendary Lita Ford. After that run of 4 shows Symetria makes their first appearance in Allentown PA in 8 years at the Allentown Arts Gallery.

The band then wraps up it's current schedule with their 2nd straight appearance on B'N'R fest Saturday November 7th in Birdsboro PA a local Reading area music festival that brings together some of the longest running local and regional acts in the eastern PA music scene. The band has plans in the works to tour for the first time with intentions of late summer or fall of 2027.

ARION Release New Single And Music Video “Into The Fire”

Finnish melodic metal powerhouse ARION continue the rollout for their forthcoming fifth studio album with the release of their brand-new single and music video, “Into The Fire”, out now via RPM. Following the explosive first taste delivered by “Hurricane”, the band return with another high-energy anthem that combines towering melodies, crushing riffs, and an emotionally charged message about courage, trust, and stepping into the unknown.

Built around furious riffs, huge arrangements, intense vocals and a fiery guitar solo, “Into The Fire” captures the moment of overcoming fear and finding strength through connection. Guitarist and songwriter Iivo Kaipainen explains: "A jump into the unknown may feel scary, yet sometimes there’s no option but to go. If only there was someone to help you make that decision, to take that leap and jump with you: You close your eyes, take their hand and now you feel strong enough. That’s what 'Into The Fire' is about." The result is a powerful melodic metal track that further showcases ARION’s ability to blend modern heaviness with arena-sized hooks and heartfelt storytelling.

Mawiza Release New Indigenous Anthem “MÜR”

After Metal Hammer hailed them as the most important new metal band of 2025, this year, Mawiza continue to pound the drum for indigenous metal.

The modern day Mapuche warriors started 2026 by shaking the foundation of Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier’s studio before sharing the stage with Avenged Sevenfold and Mr. Bungle. Now, as they prepare to journey across Europe’s major summer festival circuit, the indigenous metal band are debuting a new song for the first time since their groundbreaking, critically-acclaimed and Chilean Grammy-nominated album ÜL.

Today, Mawiza are releasing a lyric video for their new single “MÜR”. While unplugged, by joining forces with Mira Ceti (Heilung) and Anne Olsen (Danefae), the Mapuche metal band lead a new anthem for indigenous people everywhere.

“In English, MÜR means ‘Together’”, Mawiza vocalist and guitarist Awka says. “This song connects with our ancestral values and reminds us the importance of working together across generations”.

“We wanted this song to not only represent the Mapuche people, but indigenous people all over the world who have lost a part of their culture to colonizers”, Mawiza bassist Zewü says.

“‘MÜR’ is a song about people coming  together”, Ceti continues. “Joining in with so many beautiful voices from across the world is a great honor. I chose to sing in Occitan, a language from the southern half of France, as a way to remind us of the importance of keeping a diversity of culture alive”.

"I haven’t don’t much featured work before, so I was very happy and a bit intimidated when Awka and the rest of Mawiza reached out to me about collaborating on ‘MÜR’”, says Anne Olsen.

“Heritage is a strange thing”, Olsen continues. “We can try to deny that it sets us apart, but we all have different cultures, stories and traditions. To me, ‘MÜR’ is about how these differences shouldn’t divide us; rather, they should remind us that we all come from somewhere. Naturally, if we understand each other’s heritage, we are one step closer to understanding each other. It was a wonderful song to work on, and the vocals in Mapudungun are so powerful. It was truly inspiring. Now, I just wait and hope to see if performed live some day”.

The video for “MÜR” was created by Jesus Carrillo.

Gore. Return With Video for New Song "Lead Me to the Slaughter" — WATCH // Band Touring With Kittie

Texas metal four-piece GORE. — vocalist Haley Roughton, guitarist Alex Reyes, bassist Devin Birchfield, and drummer Wills Weller — are back and with a vengeance unparalleled.

The quartet has shared the video for the brand new single "Lead Me to the Slaughter." Watch it Below

"This song is about being indoctrinated into a cult, and idolizing what kills you," the band states. "Idolatry is rampant beyond human repair with social media — we now look at people like they're gods. We idolize money, fame, and beauty more now than we ever have as a society. These idols will lead us to nothing but guilt, shame, and suffering."

GORE. are currently touring with Kittie. All current dates, including their Fall 2026 European tour dates, are here.

GORE. dropped the  IF YOU DO NOT FEAR ME... EP in late 2025. It followed GORE.'s Spinefarm debut, the A Bud That Never Blooms EP (2024), which saw the band tipped as a "Band You Need To Know" by Revolver and described as "cutting-edge modern metal at its most vulnerable" by NME in their 2025 Essential Emerging Artists list.

ABOUT GORE.:
Haley Roughton leads the charge in Gore., a band that brings a distinctly feminine perspective to the heavy music scene. Debuted in 2023 with guitarist Alex Reyes, bassist Devin Birchfield, and now drummer Wills Weller, the Texas-based trio quickly made waves with their emotionally raw and unapologetically vulnerable. Gore. are poised to continue challenging norms and expressing the full spectrum of feminine experience through their powerful sound

Green Carnation Announce A Dark Poem, Part III: The Messiah Complex

At no point over the last 25 years has Green Carnation ever shied away from a challenge. Whether completing one of the most ambitious individual epics in metal’s historic archives or performing their acoustic verses under a mountain dam, the prog bards have always flashed a flare for the dramatic. However, from the very beginning, there was one tale - or three, to be exact - that eluded the Norwegians. That is, until now.

Having reached crushing new peaks and delved into their deepest, darkest and most personal depths during the first two parts of A Dark Poem, today, Green Carnation are bringing their critically-acclaimed album trilogy to a bold conclusion. With the announcement of A Dark Poem, Part III: The Messiah Complex, the band are putting the finishing touches on another masterpiece that stands as one of the defining statements in their storied career.

A Dark Poem is by far our biggest achievement since Light of Day, Day of Darkness”, Green Carnation vocalist Kjetil Nordhus says. “Our new album trilogy returns to the epic storytelling that put us on the map back in 2001. While the reception to Part I and Part II has been overwhelmingly positive for us, we do believe that Part III saves the best for last. The Messiah Complex ties the whole story together with our most uncompromising statement to date”.

“The intention behind A Dark Poem  was to build a completely new musical universe”, Green Carnation bassist and primary lyricist  Stein Roger Sordal says. “While the direction revealed itself as the creative journey unfolded, The Messiah Complex was carefully planned with a clear vision for where we wanted the story to end. Our goal was for all three parts to stand on their own, but Part III brings them all together into a unified whole”.

Watch the premiere of the extremely meta music video for pitch-perfect lead single “Unconditional Artificial Chemistry” Below:

A Dark Poem, Part III: The Messiah Complex comes out September 4, 2026 on Season of Mist.

https://orcd.co/greencarnationadarkpoempart3

“The video for ‘Unconditional Artificial Chemistry’ tells a meta story about the danger of artificial intelligence”, Nordhus says. “We all know, if we are being honest with ourselves, that A.I. is going to take control of our lives. There are powerful people who stand to profit from it and that makes its takeover inevitable.

“The video shows this happening before our eyes” Nordhus continues. As soon as the A.I. takes control, our likeness is corrupted. Before the song is even finished, we’re completely destroyed”.

The video for “Unconditional Artificial Chemistry” was directed and edited by Rikard Amodei.

Catch Green Carnation during their upcoming hometown shows and European summer festival dates.

During their headlining show in September at the Kilden Performing Arts Centre, the band will perform A Dark Poem in its entirety for the first and final time. Already, fans from 18 different countries have purchased tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

ROB ZOMBIE UNLEASHES NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR "TARANTULA"

Rock and metal icon ROB ZOMBIE has released the official music video for ‘Tarantula,’ another standout track from his latest studio album, The Great Satan, available now via Nuclear Blast Records. The video arrives as fans continue to celebrate Zombie's acclaimed eighth solo album, which has earned widespread praise from critics and listeners alike.

A favorite among fans since the album's release, ‘Tarantula’ now gets a fitting visual counterpart. Bathed in stark yellow light and shot with a gritty, stripped-down aesthetic, the performance-focused video captures Zombie and his band tearing through the track with relentless force and precision.

Released earlier this year, The Great Satan marked Zombie's first studio album in five years and featured standout cuts including ‘Punks and Demons,’ ‘Heathen Days,’ ‘(I'm a) Rock 'N' Roller,’ ‘F.T.W. 84,’ ‘The Black Scorpion,’ and ‘Tarantula.’ The record further cemented his status as one of heavy music's most distinctive creative voices, delivering another collection of memorable, larger-than-life anthems.

THE XCERTS Share Anthemic New Single "bury you"

Today, THE XCERTS share "bury you," the latest single from their forthcoming sixth album, 'i think i want to go home now.,' out July 10th via FLG Records. To mark the release, the band will embark on a run of intimate in-store shows across the UK throughout July, including dates at Rough Trade Nottingham, Crash Records in Leeds, and Assai in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen.

The band has also been confirmed as special guests to Twin Atlantic, who will tour throughout October. All support dates and in-stores are listed below.

The song arrives towards the end of the album's emotional arc, and carries with it a shift in register - less about the weight of what's been endured and more about what to do with it. Written in the closing stages of the record, "bury you" is a song about tough love: the kind of honest, unflinching conversation that close friends have with each other when things get hard, and the kind you eventually have with yourself. Lyrically, it walks the line between addressing someone else and addressing himself - the chorus functions as both an instruction outward and a reminder inward.

Speaking about the track, Macleod says:

"Towards the end of the writing process, I was taking stock, and I wanted something that had - what's the right way to put it? - not a sense of hope, but something that's almost meant to feel like a sobering conversation. I had a lot of those with close friends of mine who were also having tough times during that period, so I wanted to have a song that represents tough love. It also acts as a reflective conversation and a statement of intent for myself. 'This ain't your first rodeo' is a funny line, but I've found myself saying it a lot, and it's true."

The album was written by all three members together in a room, something the band had not done since their early records, and that closeness is felt throughout. Recorded by Larry Hibbittat Beehive Studios, its ten songs document two years of genuine turbulence, including the passing of bassist Jordan Smith's mother and Macleod's father's cancer diagnosis, processed in real time and in company.

'i think i want to go home now.' arrives July 10th via FLG Records.

LUTHER Sign To Long Branch Records + Drop "Giving The People What They Want" Video

Following their recent performance at Rock For People (CZ) and after opening for bands such as Escuela Grind, Silly Goose, Urne, and Predatory Void, Berlin-based alternative metal up-and-comers LUTHER sign to Long Branch Records and drop their label debut single "Giving The People What They Want."

LUTHER's take on alternative metal is groovy, heavy, and even a little weird. Centered around electric guitar, their songs merge prog metal, nu metal, and hardcore. Borderline-theatrical screams and clean vocals hold your hand through the night. The band explores isolation, betrayal, rage, and escapism as its core lyrical themes. LUTHER have drawn comparisons to artists such as KORN, POPPY, and KIM DRACULA, resonating with fans of genre-bending alternative metal.

"Giving The People What They Want" is an alternative metal track with strong nu metal influences in the verses, progressive guitar layering in the choruses accompanied by hardcore-style vocals, and pre-choruses built around deathcore-like breakdowns. It perfectly captures LUTHER's vision of metal music: The embrace of metal's archetypes to create something exciting, dynamic, maybe a little weird, but definitely never boring.

"I'll give the people what they want!" shouted just before a drop, encapsulates the lyrical meaning of the track. If life dooms you to constant rejection, endless challenges, and unfair circumstances, find self-realization in romanticizing and dramatizing your role as an entertainer. You might even discover that you’re the best at it!

Stream the single here.

Watch the video for "Giving The People What They Want" below.

The single's production, mixing, and mastering were handled by Enrico Tiberi, current vocalist of The Ocean Collective.

LUTHER were founded at the end of 2024 by musicians who already had a history in Berlin's underground metal and alternative scene. In 2025, the band debuted with its first single, "Next Time Send a Killer," a song that generated unexpected organic engagement across social media and streaming platforms.

The band just played Rock for People 2026 in the Czech Republic, was announced for Reeperbahn Festival 2026, and was recently invited to a double-set show in Quebec City, Canada, for the Envol et Macadam Festival, headlined by Bad Religion and Hatebreed.

LUTHER’s upcoming debut album is rumored to draw influence from bands such as KORN; LOATHE, GRAYHAVEN, THE MARS VOLTA, and SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Stay tuned if that's your thing.

CARLY PEARCE TO RELEASE FIFTH STUDIO ALBUM

Today, GRAMMY, CMA and ACM-Award winning country star Carly Pearce announces her highly anticipated fifth studio album, Honest Woman, will arrive August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Pre-order, pre-add, and pre-save the album HERE , including new track “She Don’t” which dropped today alongside the album announcement. Available now on all platforms, the song further highlights Carly’s witty lyricism and love of storytelling with her traditional country sensibilities for a sure-to-be fan favorite. Watch the visualizer Below;

Co-produced by Pearce with longtime collaborator Ben West, Honest Woman sees Pearce embrace every aspect of who she was, is, and will become through narrative-driven lyrics and a sonic return to form. Including features with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle, the album leans into her bluegrass roots and focuses on authentic country craftsmanship. Honest Woman is an ‘honest’ portrayal of life’s journey delivered by a woman who understands that it’s the fullness of time that defines you.

"When I started making Honest Woman, I found myself rediscovering who I am and why I wanted to be a country music singer in the first place,” says Pearce. “This album takes me back to the beginning of my story, where the sounds of classic country and bluegrass music shaped who I am. I’m so proud of this body of work, and I truly feel like it’s my best yet.”

Anticipation was at an all-time high during CMA Fest as the phrase “Honest Woman” was seen in various places around Nashville – from her “Carly’s Closet” charity pop-up that raised $20,000 for the CMA Foundation, to the sidewalks outside her CMA Artist of the Day panel moderated by Hillary Scott of Lady A and performances at Nissan Stadium, Billboard Live at Category 10, SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour and Spotify House – leading Pearce’s fans to speculate if Honest Womanwas the title of her forthcoming album.

In addition to today’s release, “She Don’t,” Pearce’s forthcoming album will include current single and “blockbuster duet” (Billboard) with Riley Green, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,” along with the “delightfully snarky & sassy” (Music Row) “You Can Have Him,” “honest anthem” (Rolling Stone) “Church Girl” and the “unfiltered, introspective” (Billboard) “Dream Come True.” As Pearce is readying Honest Woman, each track continues to define “the tone for her most vulnerable era yet” (The Tennessean).

To support the album, Pearce will be performing special two-night residencies across North America. Kicking off September 10 with two nights in Detroit, Pearce will bring her “Honest Woman: Up Close” live shows presented by Conundrum Wines to intimate venues in Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Toronto and Boston before concluding with two nights in New York City. Belle Frantz will join Pearce as support.

Tickets will be available starting Tuesday, June 23 at 12pm local time with the Official Carly Pearce Fan Club presale, where members can redeem their code for tickets to the tour. To sign up for the fan club, fans can visit fanclub.carlypearce.com. General tickets will be available for purchase beginning Friday, June 26 at 10am local time.

KING ULTRAMEGA Unveil Tribute Cover Of SOUNDGARDEN's "Loud Love", Ft. Lzzy Hale

In tribute to Chris Cornell, KING ULTRAMEGA presents a high octane interpretation of SOUNDGARDEN's "Loud Love" joined by Lzzy Hale (HALESTORM) leading on vocals, Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT / METAL ALLEGIANCE) on guitars and drum performance by Dave Krusen (PEARL JAM). KING ULTRAMEGA are raising funds and awareness for MusiCares, the Recording Academy’s nonprofit that provides mental health services, addiction recovery support, and emergency assistance to members of the music community.

"Loud Love" appears on SOUNDGARDEN's 1989 full length Louder Than Love and remains a fan favorite that showcases Chris Cornell's incredible range. Wanting to honor Cornell and the iconic track, and evoke the spirit of this era, Mark Menghi's process for this release saw him take an old school approach in order to achieve the analogue warmth of the original recording.

On the new release, Lzzy Hale shares: “If there was ever a time to be spreading a message of LOUD LOVE, It’s now.”

Produced by Mark Menghi, "Loud Love" was mixed and mastered by Josh Wilbur. The cover artwork design is by Mark Menghi and the accompanying video is by Tom Flynn.

Lzzy Hale comments on her approach for tackling vocal duties on "Loud Love", "I don’t think I’ve ever been a good imitator, but I did try to put myself in Chris’ shoes. It’s more about placing yourself inside the song so you can steal its soul. I like to imagine I am the writer and then go about making it my own whilst honoring the original."

On drawing inspiration from Chris, Hale continues, "I feel like I’m always learning something from Chris. Every few years I’ll discover something deeper in his lyrics, or higher in his range. But there is an authenticity that comes with Chris that can’t be taught or trained for. I believe every word he writes. I’m inspired by his control over his animalistic vocal range, and his poetry, but also how honestly he sings."

Alex Skolnick explains his process on preserving Kim Thayil’s guitar style, "Kim’s playing has a strong sense of groove as well as a rawness and honesty that was especially refreshing when this song first came out (a time of much overproduction & perfection in hard rock). I tried to strike a good balance between referencing and respecting Kim‘s original parts, while also bringing some of my own flavor and ideas, without getting in the way."

Skolnick reveals what it was like working with Menghi outside of METAL ALLEGIANCE: "For the most part, Mark and I have recorded originals in Metal Allegiance, songs that started with a blank page. This time we had a solid road map. In the past, once we had drum tracks, it didn’t matter which of us followed up or whether we tracked separately or simultaneously. This time, we were very dependent on capturing a live performance together in the studio, which was a fun challenge. This tune seemed to require the bass and guitar being locked in while going to tape, I think it’s probably true of most of the Soundgarden catalogue."

Mark Menghi discusses his choice of line-up for "Loud Love": "I knew I wanted Dave to play drums on this tune from the jump. Who better than the dude that played drums on arguably one of the greatest records of all-time and whom also helped lay the groundwork for the Seattle explosion in the late 80’s/early 90’s? I was already in the studio with my Metal Allegiance bro Alex Skolnick putting this finishing touches on a then new Metal Allegiance tune (which turned out to be Black Horizon) when I asked 'Hey would you wanna play on this King Ultramega track?' I just off-the-cuff asked him… what makes it better is I said, “see that old school tape machine over there in the corner? We are going to record our parts together, live, at the same time, the old school way on reel-to-reel!'"

He continues, "The last piece of the 'Loud Love' puzzle was the amazing Lzzy Hale. Having her complete the lineup for this tune is truly humbling. If you listen to the OG version of 'Loud Love', Chris’ vocals are just absolute insanity and who better than Lzzy to tackle this? Lzzy has complete vocal dominance, carries such a strong presence and quite frankly is one of the best vocalists in modern rock today."

A key component of this cover is the analogue production. On taking this creative decision Menghi explains, "It was very important to me to keep this particular song as old school as possible. I wanted to catch the warmth, vibe and feel of the original track which meant (to me) recording to tape, in the same room together and live. Imagine that? A world where you record with other humans in the same room and in analog no less! Reel-to-reel tape recording is a lost art form and was very excited to go back to the recording days of the past for this track. Alex and I are no strangers in recording together; but this was the first time we have ever recorded live together, with real amps blasting and the tape machine running. Truly was a special feel, to capture that live energy."

Dave Krusen of PEARL JAM, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, opens up about revisiting this classic SOUNDGARDEN track. "Seattle was a very turbulent place in the late 80s / early 90s and I think the best thing to come out of it was all the great music. I was a huge Soundgarden fan. I got to meet Chris and Matt when we (Pearl Jam) were working on 10 and they were working on Temple Of the Dog. It was a huge thrill for me. The fact that I was asked to be a part of this King Ultramega record was a huge honor. I was very intimidated to try and tackle the drum parts in 'Loud Love', but the guys I was recording with made it no pressure and a lot of fun."

Krusen shares a personal memory of Chris, "I'll never forget in 1993 backstage at a Pearl Jam show, Chris came up and said 'Hey Dave, it's Chris. Do you remember me?' every time I talked to him, he was always such a sweet guy to me. I miss him and his music. Plus Matt has always been so gracious and cool to me, letting me share his drum throne, was also a huge honor."

The "Loud Love" Lineup Is:

Vocals: Lzzy Hale (HALESTORM)
Guitars: Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT / METAL ALLEGIANCE)
Bass: Mark Menghi
Drums: Dave Krusen (PEARL JAM)

Wailin Storms Stoke Fresh Dread on Howling New Single “Dead End”

Recipients of high praise from NPR, The Needle Drop, Brooklyn Vegan, Decibel and Metal Hammer, Wailin Storms have caught fire since migrating to North Carolina in 2014. Now, the Durham natives are fanning the flames even higher with their upcoming fifth album and first for Season of Mist. On The Arsonist, the band deliver a fiery baptism of Southern gothic rock.

Today, Wailin Storms are premiering a suspenseful music video for the third and final advanced single from The Arsonist with Treble. With the ghost of David Lynch riding passenger seat, “Dead End” takes a harrowing post-punk turn.

‘Dead End’ is about seeing yourself after you die”, Wailin Storms vocalist and guitarist Justin Storms says. “It’s the first song on The Arsonist and one of the first that was written for the album. It flowed out of me while I was messing around with my Strymon El Capistan guitar pedal. It sets the tone by jolting you straight into a fever dream that’s filled with cryptic messages from beyond.

While shrouded by a doomy and dreamy atmosphere, The Arsonist is inflamed by real life anxieties. Taking inspiration from René Magritte, the album’s cover art, which is heavily shadowed except for a tiny house gone up in flames, was painted by Storms himself. “These songs are steeped in the trials and tribulations of everyday life”, he says. The title track is slowly engulfed by love’s eternal flame. “Like the wind controls the sea”, he croons over the gentle sway of his guitar. “You always had a hold on me”. The thunderous climax surges with such feverish intensity that it threatens to send the night of passion up in smoke.

Amidst the wreckage of The Arsonist, Wailin Storms do find a semblance of peace. “It’s All Dark Now Where Your Eyes Used to Be” ends the album with a ghostly flicker of gothic romance. “I know a place where we can sit and grow old”, Storms offers with grim assurance. A piano tolls like death’s bell as he glimpses up at a church that resembles a skull. “There’s a sliver of hope in coming to terms with death”, he concludes. “Life is temporary and that's where its beauty lies”.
