SENNA Return With Video for New Single "Out Of The Blue"

German metalcore band SENNA return with their compelling new single "Out of The Blue," out now via SharpTone Records. The release marks a pivotal moment in the band's evolution, introducing longtime guitarist Marcel Dürr as the group's new lead vocalist for the first time.

Speaking on the single, the band shares: 
"'Out of The Blue' is about confronting fear of rejection and self-worth with a kind of honesty that turns vulnerability into connection."

Originally emerging as a studio side project, SENNA quickly evolved into a fully-fledged band consisting of Marcel Dürr (now vocals, formerly guitar), Fabian Cattarius (bass), and Viktor Warzecha (drums). Drawing their name from the Arabic word for brightness, shine, or glow, the band's identity reflects both their sonic ambition and their artistic intent — a luminous blend of technical precision, playful experimentation, and a fusion of hard rock, progressive, and post-hardcore influences.

"It was really liberating," Dürr recalls of the band’s early creative mindset. "Because we weren't pursuing SENNA as a proper band at first, we had a lot of time to experiment with our sound. Our goal was to simply write the music that we enjoyed, without being boxed into any one genre."

This ethos of freedom and exploration has remained central to SENNA's identity. Their debut EP A Moment of Quiet offered an early glimpse into their creative vision, setting the foundation for what would become their full-length debut album Stranger To Love, released via SharpTone Records in 2024. The record showcased SENNA's ability to balance intricate melodies with raw emotional depth, capturing the quiet, often overlooked moments that shape human connection.

Following standout singles including "High Note", "Rain", "Blackout", "Hurricane" and "Potential." With Marcel originally positioned as guitarist during this era, the band now enters a new phase with him stepping forward as frontman.

Black Veil Brides Release Music Video For "Cut" (Feat. Lilith Czar)

With their seventh studio album VINDICATE out , Black Veil Brides are back with the last advance song and music video from the release. 

"Cut" featuring Lillith Czar is the latest song (the eighth if you are keeping score) from their Spinefarm debut. The track showcases the epic side of the band with their use of symphonic orchestration, which has become something the fans have come to love about them. The song shows the creative diversity of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma with a special guest appearance by Biersack's wife, Lillith Czar (Juliet Simms, Automatic Loveletter), on vocals. 

The music video directed by Max Moore (Spiritbox, Motionless In White) is available today. The video is a live-action re-telling of the Tim Burton classic The Corpse Bride" The video shows the band performing as Biersack sews his beloved wife back together. They get to have one last dance together before he loses her forever. The couple wore their actual wedding attire from 10 years ago and even renewed their vows on set. 

"'Cut' is a song that for me, is one of those songs in your catalog that feels like you were able to achieve exactly what you wanted to achieve when making it," explains Andy Biersack. "I feel like Lillith's voice and presence on this song is absolutely perfect. On the lyrical side, just knowing how much the concepts resonate with both me and Lilith makes it all the more special and then to get to shoot this incredible video together it just feels like a career highlight all around. It's one of my favorite songs we've ever done."

With anticipation building at every turn, Black Veil Brides announced their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Vindicate. The record will be released worldwide on May 8 via Spinefarm. From the opening organ introduction and dramatic soliloquy of "Invocation To The Muse" to the emotive finale of "Eschaton," the band deliver one of the most ambitious chapters of their career. IATT Release New Album 'Etheric Realms of the Night' Alongside Video For "To Lie Beneath"

"To Lie Beneath" embraces discomfort and unquiet. IATT craft a haunting soundscape in this track as they explore the sensation of sleep paralysis, and "To Lie Beneath" sees the band joined by Jerome Burns who provides a dizzying trumpet solo. The thrilling accompanying music video brings to life this song's themes in line with the overarching concept of the new album. Etheric Realms of the Night is out now via Black Lion Records.

In "To Lie Beneath", shrill black metal vocals traverse above an immersive, textural instrumental arrangement. The extreme genre influences are placed alongside progressive styles reflecting the tension and disjointed impact of sleep paralysis. Symphonic elements from orchestral instruments entwine throughout the discordant layers. Specifically, IATT's use of harp alludes to the feeling of being immobilized during sleep paralysis.

Returning to the central theme of Etheric Realms of the Night, the instrumental section in "To Lie Beneath" represents being torn between reality and the dream world. The song's ethereal piano led outro is joined by a flute accompaniment. Serene yet somber, this conclusion introduces the idea of somniphobia, the fear of falling asleep, which is the focus of the following track on the album. 

IATT's cinematic music video for "To Lie Beneath" incorporates imagery of entanglement. The narrative's heroine is tied and bound with rope, and has cloth over her eyes restricting her senses further. Attempting to navigate her way through woodland, under the watchful eyes of cloaked figures, the protagonist is left stumbling while trying to make sense of this warped reality. Enlisting the help of two guides, something hooded and sinister follows close behind. 

Once her sight is restored, the heroine encounters objects, reminders, from 'reality' manifesting in this dream realm. The video ends showing her physical form situated firmly in the real world, while her mind ventures in plains elsewhere. 

IATT will be bringing Etheric Realms of the Night to the stage. In support of the new album and full-length film, the band has announced a run of live dates spanning the East Coast and into Canada marking IATT’s first time performing north of the border.

For this run, Etheric Realms of the Night will be performed in its entirety, offering a rare opportunity to experience the full narrative as it was intended live, immersive, and unfolding in real time.

Maddox Batson is “Fallin’ Easy” in Latest New Music, Out Now

Sixteen-year-old breakout Maddox Batson leans into the rush of young love on his new track “Fallin’ Easy,” out now via Prosper Entertainment/ Warner Records. Listen to “Fallin’ Easy” here and watch the official music video below.

Batson co-writes the song with Jackson Foote and Grant Averill, with Foote producing, “Fallin’ Easy” captures the kind of effortless connection that defines young relationships. Built around acoustic textures and a sing-along chorus, the song finds Batson caught up in the moment–from late-night conversations under the stars to the dizzy feeling of being pulled toward someone you cannot quite explain. The hook lands on a simple truth that drives the song: falling might be out of your control, yet the right person makes it easy.

Batson recently wrapped the North American leg of his Live Worldwide Tour with a hometown stop at Nashville’s The Pinnacle on May 3, heading overseas for a European run kicking off May 12 in Dublin, with stops in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Amsterdam, among other cities. 

Stateside, Batson returns for a summer run including a performance at CMA Fest’s Chevy Riverfront Stage on June 6, along with select dates supporting Tucker Wetmore’s The Brunette World Tour in Uncasville, CT and Indianapolis, IN.

About Maddox Batson:
Rising country-pop artist Maddox Batson is making a name for himself this year as the only 16-year-old on a headlining international, world tour. The Nashville-based songwriter first gained attention for his covers of popular songs before showcasing his own songwriting talent with singles like “I Wanna Know” and “Tears In The River,” in addition to a co-write on “Tough” recorded by Lana Del Rey and Quavo. Genre-blending R&B metal sensation sace6 have today released their eagerly anticipated new album, 'brutalist'(via Sumerian Records). BLACK SEA OF TREES Release Powerful Video For "Omen", New Album Cult Of The Sun Out Now

Cult of the Sun is the new full length offering from Melbourne-based progressive metal act BLACK SEA OF TREES. The narrative of the album is inspired by the Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, Akhenaten and his life’s journey. Cult of the Sun follows the days of the protagonist who is promised otherworldly power and dominion over both Earth and Heaven in return for overthrowing the old kingdom. The album arrives accompanied by the powerful, emotive and evocative film for "Omen". 

"Omen" evokes the landscape of an endless desert. Beginning in realms of heavy rock, the track progresses musically into darker territory. BLACK SEA OF TREES' distinctive style comprised of thunderous breakdowns and large melodic choruses are found in "Omen", delivered in a more condensed and palatable form. 

In "Omen", at this point in the narrative journey, the true nature of the sun god is revealed. Remaining low across daylight hours, the sun god transforms into a bringer of death in the form of a black hole casting a dark shroud over the land. The protagonist, and their followers, abandoned by their god, are left uncertain and hopeless in their once steadfast beliefs.

Based out of Melbourne and Victoria in Australia, the progressive metal ensemble composes their music around the narrative of their releases. BLACK SEA OF TREES formed in 2018. The debut album, The Spiritual Beast, materialized in the spring of 2023. Movements Announce "Happier Now" Album Out 9/4 + Share Double Single

Southern California's post-hardcore stalwarts MOVEMENTS are pleased to announce the September 4 release of their new album Happier Now via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band fires off not one but two new tracks with "Dissolve Me" and "Back in My Ways."

Movements have earned their reputation in the post-hardcore scene with mathy, discordant riffs wrapped in forward-thinking melodies. The band further perfects the formula that has served it so well with "Dissolve Me," which features tense and angular riffs wrapped in shimmering, layered vocal harmonies. It's a hardcore bop that will have the kids in the pit jumping up and down and dancing like no one is watching.

 "'Dissolve Me,' the first track we wrote for this record, set a precedent for our writing process," explains Miranda. "Nailing the lead single for an album cycle on the first try is a significant accomplishment. It felt like the perfect culmination of energy, emotion, and growth for us sonically. Like much of the record, this song is introspective, and It's a sort of confession about my own social behaviors and the challenges I face in navigating even the smallest or most 'normal' everyday interactions. Those feelings tend to accumulate and worsen over time, to the point where they can become debilitating. Sometimes it feels like the only remedy would be to slam my head into a wall."

But rather, the band members channel those frustrations into their music!

Movements have also served up a moody and melancholic volley with "Back In My Ways." It's a master class in slow burn sonic storytelling. The tinny riffs and evenly-delivered vocals steadily escalate through to the final third of the song. That's when the track absolutely erupts in a torrent of riffs and a rush of emotive vocals. "Back In My Ways" hits you in all of the post-hardcore feels. Ultimately, "Back in My Ways" was a grower for the band, and one that harks back to the band's earlier sounds.

"'Back in My Ways' was a track that I kinda hated at first," offers Miranda. "I think there was part of me that was hesitant to want to slip back into the 'sadder' side of our music. Sometimes the early versions of the songs we write don't hit right away, but over time it's become one of my favorite tracks on the record. This song is a slow burn in more ways than one, and it's really special."

Movements are proud to announce their fourth full-length album for Fearless Records, Happier Now, with GRAMMY-winner Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight, Circa Survive) once again serving as producer. "I think at first we weren’t really sure what the record was going to be," vocalist Patrick Miranda admits. "We all had a general idea: We wanted it to bring in the early elements of our sound and blend it with the newer material like [2023's] RUCKUS! and mesh both of those sounds." Two of the songs that came from that initial session were the album’s first two singles: The instantly infectious anthem "Dissolve Me" and moody meditation "Back In My Ways," which collectively acted as sonic north stars to guide the band through the recording process.
 
In many ways, Happier Now is a full circle moment for Movements, who are once again performing on the Warped Tour this summer and slowly becoming veterans of the community that inspired them growing up. The struggle never sounded so sweet.

"Simply put, 'Good Night' is a song about being angry," the band's singer Jackson Foster says. "It was cool to go back and work with our friend Joey, who did theBad Behavior EP, and our friend Ryan Hall. I haven't been this excited about a song in a minute."

Swedish power metal force TUNGSTEN are ready to unleash their fifth studio album Ashes, set for release on October 9 via PERCEPTION - A Division Of Reigning Phoenix Music, and celebrate the announcement with their brand-new video single “Joker”. About the new single, guitarist Nick Johansson remembers; "In 2015 I randomly stumbled across a clip of Franzl Lang. I was seriously impressed by how insanely good he was at yodeling, so I went through a short Franzl phase. Not long after that I was standing by a lake with a perfect echo and decided to try a little yodel myself. It sounded absolutely terrible, of course but, I immediately understood the technique. Since then I’ve only yodeled for fun now and then. Somehow, after almost 10 years of casual nonsense-yodeling, it has quietly improved on its own."

Lead singer Mike Andersson adds; “'Joker' is a real stompy banger! I’ll never forget the reactions from our friends and partners at Reigning Phoenix Music when we played them the demo over dinner in Stuttgart. The excitement around the table was amazing.

Pop-Rockers AS IT IS Release New Single "Do You Remember?" + Official Music Video

Today, transatlantic pop-rock quartet AS IT IS proudly releases their new single ‘Do You Remember?,’ the latest track from their forthcoming self-titled album, out on July 17th via FLG.

 

Speaking on the reflective track, a live favorite in-waiting, frontman Patty Walters shares:

“‘Do You Remember?’ is about the countless nights we’ve spent retelling all our favourite stories from the road, the studio, and everywhere else that music has taken us over the years. When we were on top of the world and when we hit rock bottom, we went through every moment of it together, and the memories and the friendships are something we cherish every day. We wrote the song with Max Helyer (You Me At Six), someone who knew exactly what we wanted to say and capture in a song, both in its lyrics and its heart, and ‘Do You Remember?’ wouldn’t be half the song it is without him.”

Max himself adds:

“Working with the lads was a real pleasure. I remember when Patty and myself spoke about doing something at a Marshall writer camp in early 2025, a couple of months later, we were in his studio together writing this song. We shared stories of being on tour with your brothers and what AS IT IS have been through as a band, and I thought, hey, why don’t you write about that side of it? We wanted it to be a triumphant celebration of where they have been and what they’ve gone through together, but most importantly, coming back and doing it for the right reasons."

Of the accompanying music video, Walters comments:

“It was a blast filming the music video in a living room in Brighton, surrounded by partners, friends, and so many of the fans who have supported this band since the very beginning. We love this song so much, and it’s always special getting to share something unreleased with a handful of people before it officially drops. Once the video was wrapped, we played a headline set for everyone who came down, and it was a show I’ll absolutely remember forever. The band’s first-ever show was in a similar living room, no more than a ten-minute walk away from where we shot the video, and it felt so special to, nearly 14 years later, reconnect with the band’s most humble of beginnings, and to know that the video itself was becoming one of those same stories that inspired us to write this song in the first place."

“You can never manufacture genuine connection with people,” Ben remarks. “Just find what is honest to you and honest to your journey, and that’s all any artist has to offer to the world. This is our reality, and reality is looking a bit more positive these days. We’re a band known for four quite depressing albums. But days fluctuate, and things change. That’s mental health. But to be able to look at everything with a different and more positive outlook on the future is all that we wanted to say.”

“This is the spirit and intention of the joy that formed AS IT IS in the first place,” Patty adds. “It is reconnecting with the kids that we were when we started to write songs. And now, we’re showing up with life in our eyes. We can listen to and support each other. This is the most in control and confident the band has been in a long time, but also the most proud. In the past, I had no choice but to be in AS IT IS. This new era of the band is my choice. Our choice. A choice. But in having it back, it means having maybe the biggest piece of myself back, too.”
