Stitched Up Heart Release New Single "Cannibal" feat. Heidi Shepherd via Judge & Jury Recordsβ
Los Angeles rock band Stitched Up Heart have unleashed their new single βCannibal,βfeaturing Heidi Shepherd of Butcher Babies, out now via Judge & Jury Records. The track is a powerful collaboration between two incredible women in modern heavy music. Alecia 'Mixi' Demner and Heidi Shepherd deliver a fierce vocal performance that celebrates strength, attitude, and the unapologetic presence of women in the rock and metal scene. The single arrives alongside a brand new music video, capturing the electrifying chemistry between Mixi and Heidi as the two powerhouse vocalists.
ββCANNIBALβ is a song for the man-eaters; to all of the baddies stealing hearts and eating them for breakfast,β says Mixi.
She continues, βI was at Butcher Babies very first show. Crammed on the stairs at a dive bar on the sunset strip. Heidi hurled this wrecked Barbie into the crowd. Hair hacked off, totally mangled. I caught it. Looking back at that moment it felt like sheβd passed me a torch. 'Hey girl, letβs conquer this industry together.' Years later, weβre still at it cheering each other on from the sidelines. Collaborating on this song together is such a fulfilling moment.β
Shepherd adds, "I've been a big fan of Mixi and Stitched Up Heart for nearly 2 decades. We've clawed our way through this industry together, and had each other's back when no one else did. After all of these years, it's so fitting that 'Cannibal' is the song that we finally get to SCREAM together! This song is so fun, and has quickly become one of my favorite collabs that I've been a part of. You can tell by the video that we had an absolute blast making it. I can't wait to see what else SUH has in store of us fans in the future!"
In 2025, the band inked a deal with Judge and Jury Records and their fourth full-length album Medusa will be available on June 12. The band is currently on tour with Sebastian Bach and will be out supporting Infected Rain this summer.
Beyond the stage, Mixi continues to use her platform to advocate for more women in rock and metal while actively volunteering with multiple animal rescue organizations throughout Southern California.

Quiet Fear To Release New Album "La Tierra Arriba/El Abismo Abajo" on 6/19 + Share "RetΓ©n" Video
QUIET FEAR, the Los Angeles-based post-hardcore band rooted in Chicanx DIY ethos, are thrilled to announce its sophomore album La Tierra Arriba/El Abismo Abajo. It arrives June 19 via Iodine Recordings. Pre-order it here.
Today, the band has shared the video for first single "RetΓ©n." Watch it below.
Quiet Fear are a Los Angeles-based post-hardcore band rooted in the Chicano DIY scene, They blend the volatility of '90s screamo with the weight and atmosphere of modern hardcore. La Tierra Arriba/El Abismo Abajo confronts systemic oppression, false authority, and social control alongside themes of isolation, fear, and personal collapse. Delivered through bilingual lyrics shaped by identity, community, and lived experience, the album balances emotional intensity with a persistent undercurrent of resistance.
Recorded by Alex Estrada at Pale Moon Ranch (TouchΓ© AmorΓ©, Drug Church) and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Jeromes Dream), the record expands the band's sound into heavier and more dynamic territory, shifting between overwhelming chaos and stark, atmospheric restraint while remaining raw and uncompromising throughout. It's a modern take on '90s-inspired screamo with contemporary intensity and production. Fans of Massa Nera, Blind Girls, and Nuvolascura, take note!

MORTIIS ο»ΏAnnounces New Full-Length, 'Ghosts of Europa,' Unveils Music Video for Title Track
Iconic Norwegian artist MORTIIS is pleased to reveal that he will be releasing his latest studio album, 'Ghosts of Europa,' on June 26, 2026 via Prophecy Productions, making it his debut to the label! In celebration, MORTIIS is now unveiling the title track along with a thought-provoking music video. The clip was written and directed by Claudio Marino and can be found below.
MORTIIS comments, "This song has tried many shapes and forms, until it finally sort of found itself. I never thought that it would end up this way. Strange, mysterious, and choral. It started out as a simple thing, a different song, with a different title, which got slowly de-constructed and altered. This did not happen due to dissatisfaction with the original, but because layers of new ideas appeared. As excited as I am about this new 'entity' and the way it shaped up, the title, that has already been in existence for years, feels slightly, and sadly, prophetic β although that was never my intention."
'Ghosts of Europa' will be available as a 60-page hardcover 2CD artbook incl. 8-track bonus CD, ltd. Gatefold XXX vinyl LP, Gatefold black vinyl LP, and Digipak CD. Pre-orders are now live HERE.
MORTIIS has also teamed up with UADA for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuterβs ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair while UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring WRAITH KNIGHT. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are available HERE.
Mortiis is a pioneering dark ambient and industrial metal artist, widely credited as the founder of the dungeon synth genre, whose work spans from haunting atmospheric soundscapes to abrasive, genre-defying electronic metal. With a legacy stretching over three decades, he remains one of the most influential and enigmatic figures in underground dark music

During most of his career MORTIIS has performed with a mask and face prosthetic that turned his stage persona into an otherworldly being. Over the year, his looks have changed and evolved. For a time during 'Era 0', his live concept even abandoned the wearing of the iconic mask. MORTIIS' stage entity has often been compared with a troll β a creature of Nordic folklore, which it was never intended to be according to the artist.
"Ghosts of Europa" is the sonic testimony of an experienced and matured musician, who created what he loves most and does best: electronic rock with stylistic influences from many genres while not being bound by any that creates dark soundscapes, cinematic sonic visions, and a plethora of emotions. Just when you think that you have finally figured "Ghosts of Europa" out, MORTIIS will surprise you with another facet and fresh aspect of his richly detailed masterpiece.

Portland's psychedelic pop-rock dreamers Wooden Overcoat shares shimmery debut single 'Home'
Previewing the debut "Hello Sunbeam" EP, this is the first official transmission of the projectβs signature "gooey haze", blending the sun-drenched textures of 60s garage rock with the restless energy of raw fuzzed-out modern indie spirit. Between the wash of tape echo and reverb, the track finds a sweet spot where lo-fi garage psych meets 90s shoegaze, all anchored by layered harmonies and an evocatively intimate vocal delivery.
The sonic brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Brant Hajek, Wooden Overcoat began in the isolation of 2020, when he returned to music after a hiatus, recording songs he'd written in his late teens. What started as a practice in self-production transformed into a deep creative obsession with soundscapes and gear. Recording in a rented basement, Hajek built the foundation of the EP through spontaneous experimentationβoften veering away from planned sessions to follow sudden bursts of inspiration.
"When I wrote "Home", it kind of poured out of me, and I think Iβm still interpreting it. But to me, itβs about acknowledging something beautiful, even if it canβt last. Two people who feel naturally paired, like elements of nature, slowly decomposing and self-destructing," says Brant Hajek.
"Itβs about the inevitable demise of anything, and ultimately that we need to appreciate what is here right now and live in that magical existence. Itβs about having the capacity to admire even when things are burning out."
A study in productive contradictions; while the lyrics and aesthetics might suggest a certain darkness, they are often rooted in inside jokes and a sense of warmth. Hajekβs creative process is a deeply personal, layered journey involving mumbled placeholder lyrics and a patient wait for the specific spark that turns an "emotionally restless" melody into a finished piece.
While Hajek performed every instrument on the studio recordings to preserve the projectβs intimate DIY spirit, he has since found his tribe, assembling a full live band to translate these compositions to the stage. With Hajek leading the way on guitar and lead vocals, Wooden Overcoat is rounded out by Dillon Glusker on bass, Mac on guitar, and Brian Levin on drums and backing vocals. Through community, the band creates a fantastic dreamlike environment for like-minded people.
The name Wooden Overcoatβan old Americana euphemism for a coffinβhints at the projectβs core philosophy: a playful balance of moody, mystical imagery with light-hearted humor. Hajekβs creative process is personal, the rough versions eventually coalescing into vivid, emotionally resonant themes.
This is Wooden Overcoat's first collaboration with Italian multi-arts visionary Francesca Bonci, well known for her work with The Dandy Warhols, Pete International Airport and Slowdive's Rachel Goswell, LA's Tombstones In Their Eyes, Federale (The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Collin Hegna), post-rock outfit The Quality of Mercury, and iconic British bard Philip Parfitt.
As of March 24, "Home" is available from digital platforms everywhere, including Bandcamp. Wooden Overcoat's debut "Hello Sunbeam" EP will be released on May 9. Wooden Overcoat performs next on March 26 at Portland's Star Theatre with Gvth Dvddy and NIGHT SPOTS. Tickets are available here.

Joining them on all 27 dates are Inferi and Organectomy.
As they gear up for the start of their U.S. tour next month, today, Defeated Sanity are releasing a new drum playthrough. The drum playthrough for βHeredity Violatedβ was created by Obscenery Films.
While it still hits from every odd angle, Chronicles of Lunacy does draw a jagged red line back to Defeated Sanity's brutal origins. After all, the band now share a label with their namesake. In true, DS fashion, the first song written for this album was "Heredity Violated", a headbanging grand finale that never stops chugging. "This album isn't as tough on the brain as the last two", says new guitarist Vaughn Stoffey, whose chunky riffs whip "Accelerating the Rot" into the fastest song in the band's canon. "It's rawer and more straightforward, which gets back to what fans love about Psalms of the Moribund".
To dig up the sheer brutality that long-time fans have come to crave, Defeated Sanity returned to Thousand Cave Studios. New York City's most vile underground hotspot also served as the excavation site for the Billboard-charting The Sanguinary Impetus, which shoveled a fresh layer of dirt over the "polished" production of Passages into Deformity. But the band encouraged producer Colin Marston to get down and dirty with Chronicles of Lunacy. "We still wanted some of the high fidelity that you hear on modern death metal records", Schmidt says, "but this album has the same crushing low-end as Psalms or Chapters of Repugnance".
The band execute this two-headed approach to monstrous effect on "Condemned to Vascular Famine". At just under six minutes, the song delivers the longest ass beating on Chronicles of Lunacy. At times, all four members sound like they're climbing up the walls in separate asylums, but after slipping in a brief nod to Bram Stoker's Dracula, the band come slamming down into the album's ugliest breakdown.
"That's one of our favorites", the band says. "It lands at a crossroad of the DS sound that we ended up with on Chronicles of Lunacy. Even though it gets pretty fucking weird at times, there's still an emphasis on heavy, straight-up slamming"
None of their albums are ever going to follow a straight line, but on Chronicles of Lunacy, Defeated Sanity return to sheer brutality.

Bangalore Choir Release Video for their New Single βI Never Meant Toβ from their New Album RAPID FIRE SUCCESSION: On Target Part II
Bangalore Choir have released a video for their new single βI Never Meant Toβ from the album Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II on BraveWords Records. The video was created by Andy Susemihl.
David Reece talked about the new single, βThis song musically was written by Mario Percudani and myself, I wrote the lyric. The idea lyrically comes from a divorce where the children are forced to take sides between parents, which sadly happens more often than people think. The song is about healing and rebuilding relationships, taking ownership of failures and working towards what's most important. Love and forgiveness.β

Amulets Streams New Single "Coiled" Featuring Patrick Shiroshi
Amulets, created by Portland-based audio/visual artist Randall Taylor, has unveiled their new single "Coiled," featuring multi-instrumentialist Patrick Shiroishi. This is the second taken from new EP Rem(a)inders, out 10th April via Pelagic Records.
Stream and pre-order here: https://orcd.co/amulets-remainders
Against a hazy analogue backdrop, ambient guitars reverberate and echo through the sonic landscape, creating a sensation of weightlessness that is both calming and unsettling. Melancholic and soaring, "Black Sheep" evokes a presence of isolation and longing in the emptiness. Through patient unfolding, this minimalist, poignant atmosphere raises in intensity, deliberate in its unhurried movement, leaving room for each sound to breathe, evolve, and fade into the next.
Amulets' new album Rema(i)nders marks his debut on Pelagic Records, a fitting home for a record that thrives in the liminal space between heaviness and fragility. Deeply immersive, the album navigates the dreamy boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal, where sound behaves as memory itself: unstable, layered, and quietly transformative.
Randall Taylor's work uses analog tape and its imperfections to explore themes like degradation and nostalgia and their relationship to technology and to the self. By constructing and modifying tape loops and repurposing antiquated cassette players, Taylor creates dense, never-ending, looping soundscapes for both his live performances and sculptural sound art installations.
Known for his ability to weave soundscapes that evoke powerful emotions with minimalistic instrumentation, Taylorβs newest project is a masterful exploration of mood, atmosphere, and texture.
Taylor commented: "Rema(i)nders started as a fragmented collection of songs, memories, ideas, and feelings that I wanted to mash and warp together beyond recognition. What I ended up creating was a beautiful mosaic of texture and light in this darkening world. To remain is to remind. To remind is to remain."
Exodus Ignite Chaos With Third Single "Promise You This" Video
Bay Area Thrash metal pioneers EXODUS are about to release their new single "Promise You This" the final single taken from their new album Goliath .Fueled by cyclonic riffs, ferocious energy and turbocharged soloing from guitar icon and main songwriter Gary Holt, the track channels the bandβs unrelenting power and marks another fierce showcase of Rob Dukes' commanding return. EXODUS prove once again that their thrash supremacy remains untouchable, after shaping the genre for almost half a century.
Even over 40 years after their debut, EXODUS are steadfast in their refusal to settle for the safety of mediocrity and continue to forge their trademark just as resolutely as they did in their fruition. The band's highly anticipated 12th studio album is their most multifaceted offering so far, featuring several epic collaborations and marking the return of Rob Dukes as lead vocalist. Secure your copy of Goliath now and check out the music video for the title track below!
EXODUS on "Promise You This":
"Promise You This" is one of our favorite songs on the new record, itβs just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen."
Goliath wastes no time proving as massive as its name, with a sinister introduction opening "3111." Ode to owning oneβs own volatility "Hostis Humani Generis" features a palpable lyrical delivery from Rob Dukes that cuts like crystal amid frenetic riffs, before rolling into "The Changing Me." The trackβs introductory notes cascade into hair-raising rhythms, forming one of the bandβs most anthemic offerings β blending menace and melody with the cleans of guest Peter TΓ€gtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) together with Tom Hunting and at the end both Peter and Robb scream off the song. Harmonic dual axe acrobatics from resident guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. "Promise You This" incites mosh pit treachery with explosive energy, cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from Holt and Altus. Tracks like "Beyond The Event Horizon" and "2 Minutes Hate" provide EXODUS' trademark deadly dose of thrash theatricality β the latter boasting one of the albumβs most grimacing, grooving pit primers β while undeniably 90s-tinged metallic charm attacks alongside drummer Tom Hunting and bassist Jack Gibsonβs unmistakable rhythmic rage on tracks like "Violence Works." The nearly eight-minute epic "Summon Of The God Unknown" turns the danger dial to max capacity, setting the stage with a wicked introductory passage before traversing a variegated passage of trudging riffs and heavy metal melody. Power packed closer "The Dirtiest Of The Dozen" wraps the album on a manic high, showcasing EXODUS pulling out all the stops on all instruments. Flurried dueling solos, an isolated bass excursion, rigorous drum dexterity and a blend of both gritty vocal passages and cutting chants combine to serve as yet another prime example of the bandβs ever-evolving musical mastery.
Produced by EXODUS, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Nile, Undeath), Goliath beams with the explosive authenticity that has set EXODUS eons apart from their peers since the release of their debut, 1985βs groundbreaking thrash blueprint Bonded By Blood. 40 years later, EXODUS are steadfast in their refusal to settle for the safety of mediocrity, fearing nothing and no one and continuing to forge their trademark just as resolutely as they did in their fruition.
EXODUS on the new album Goliath:
"Are we excited for this record? Thatβs an understatement. We put everything we had into this record (and itβs 80 percent complete follow up, but weβll save that conversation for another day!) and itβs one of our proudest accomplishments. Wildly collaborative, the most band centric album to date with four songs written by Lee, lyrics by Gary, Rob, Lee and Tom, and just killer all the way around. The time to let the monster loose is coming! Bow Down!"

IATT Announces New Single "Somniphobia" From Forthcoming Album Etheric Realms of the Night
Experimental metal band IATT release their new single "Somniphobia", taken from the forthcoming album Etheric Realms of the Night, arriving May 8, 2026 on Black Lion Records.
"Somniphobia" explores the fear of falling asleep and the psychological strain that follows prolonged exhaustion. The song reflects the experience of constant fatigue, mental tension, and the despair that develops when the body and mind are pushed beyond rest. The composition moves through contrasting sonic spaces that mirror the instability of sleep anxiety.
A dissonant bridge introduces an atmosphere of unease and internal conflict. Clashing tones and shifting dynamics capture the feeling of mental tension building beneath the surface. This moment gives way to a dramatic shift that introduces a sample from Ram Dassβ 1994 lecture The Roots of Suffering. The passage centers on the difficulty of understanding the mind and the persistent nature of suffering.
Following the spoken excerpt, the track transitions into trance-like and space-oriented keyboards that suggest a drifting state between wakefulness and dream. The music moves toward a calmer sonic space while still carrying the tension established earlier in the track.
The Ram Dass lecture was chosen for its reflection on the paradox of awareness and suffering. A sense of connection to oneself, to spirituality, or to the dream world does not remove the presence of suffering in reality. The themes expressed in the lecture align with the central tension within "Somniphobia". The impulse to move away from reality exists alongside the realization that acceptance of oneβs present condition is necessary. The balance between suffering and awareness becomes part of the larger emotional arc of the song.
Etheric Realms of the Night presents a conceptual exploration of sleep and dream states. Each track represents a stage within the larger narrative of dreaming, beginning with the descent into sleep and continuing through the shifting environments of the subconscious. The album explores themes of fear, transcendence, and the duality that exists between waking life and the dream world.
Through this narrative structure, IATT examine the boundary between consciousness and the subconscious and the ways these states influence one another. The result is an album that moves through tension, uncertainty, and eventual acceptance of a different realm of experience.
About IATT:
IATT is a Philadelphia based progressive extreme metal band known for fusing blackened aggression, technical precision, and cinematic atmosphere into immersive, concept driven works. Their sound moves between ferocity and fragility, combining intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and orchestral textures to create music that feels both emotionally intense and narratively expansive.
Since forming in 2008, IATT has steadily evolved into a project defined by scope and ambition. Each release is approached as a complete experience, with recurring musical themes, symbolic instrumentation, and carefully shaped pacing that guide the listener through psychological and philosophical terrain. Their albums often explore themes such as consciousness, identity, and the tension between reality and inner worlds, expressed through layered arrangements that reward deep listening.
Records like Nomenclature and Magnum Opus established IATT as a band unafraid to stretch the boundaries of extreme metal. Jazz influenced phrasing, classical inspired orchestrations, and atmospheric passages exist alongside relentless riffing and commanding vocal performances, giving their music a multidimensional character that resists simple categorization.
A strong visual and conceptual identity also plays a central role in the bandβs work. IATT frequently extend their musical narratives into interconnected visual pieces, reinforcing the emotional and symbolic weight of their albums. This unified approach reflects their belief that sound, story, and imagery can combine to create a deeply immersive artistic statement.
With each new chapter, IATT continue refining their balance of brutality, beauty, and narrative depth, standing as one of the more adventurous and forward thinking voices in modern progressive extreme metal.

Infected Rain Release Video For New Single "Stranger"
Moldovan modern metal force Infected Rain have released the official music video for their brand new single "Stranger." The track offers the first glimpse into the band's upcoming musical chapter and marks the beginning of a new creative phase for the group as it continues to evolve its sound.
Built around themes of identity, transformation, and inner conflict, "Stranger" dives deep into the moment of realizing you no longer fully recognize the person you have become, pairing introspective lyrics with driving rhythms and the bandβs sharp, modern metal edge.
Vocalist Lena Scissorhands explains the inspiration behind the song: "'Stranger' came from the moment when you realize you don't fully recognize yourself anymore. It's an inward fight with identity, with the roles you've worn for too long, and the distance that grows between who you are and who you think you should be. In the end, it's about becoming strangers to ourselves, and trying to find the way back."
The release arrives just days before the band hits the road for the "Mutation Phase" tour across Europe and the UK, co-headlining alongside Butcher Babies. Kicking off on March 25 in Glasgow, the tour will bring the band's explosive live show to audiences across the continent, featuring a mix of fan favorites and brand new material!
Stream "Stranger" here.
The official music video Below:
Speaking about the new single and the band's current direction, Infected Rain comment, "'Stranger' is part of the Mutation Phase Infected Rain is entering right now. It's the sound of Infected Rain pushing forward, leaving comfort behind, and stepping into something sharper and more direct. This song belongs in the setlist for the upcoming EU and U.S. tours because it represents what the band is becoming. The album is still in progress, but we're proud of where itβs heading and wanted to share a first taste of the next record with everyone already now."
Formed in ChiΘinΔu, Moldova, Infected Rain have become one of the most distinctive and rapidly rising acts in modern heavy music. Fronted by the charismatic and powerful Lena Scissorhands, the band blends elements of modern metal, metalcore, nu-metal and alternative influences into an intense and emotional sonic identity.
Over the past decade, the band has built a global following through relentless touring and a series of acclaimed releases, including albums such as Endorphin, 86, Ecdysis, and TIME. Known for their explosive live performances and emotionally charged songwriting, Infected Rain have appeared on major international festival stages and toured extensively across Europe and North America.
With new music on the horizon and a new album currently in progress, the band now enters what they call their "Mutation Phase" β a period of transformation that pushes their sound into even sharper and more direct territory while maintaining the raw intensity that has defined their impressive career.

Black Veil Brides Announce Seventh Studio Album "VINDICATE"
With anticipation building at every turn, Black Veil Brides have announced their highly anticipated seventh studio album, VINDICATE. The record will be released worldwide on May 8 via Spinefarm.
The album is now available for pre-order HERE.
From the opening organ introduction and dramatic soliloquy of "Invocation To The Muse" to the emotive finale of "Eschaton," the band β vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma β delivers one of the most ambitious chapters of their career. Previously released singles including "Bleeders," "Hallelujah," and "Certainty" have already showcased the band's continued musical evolution while maintaining the theatrical intensity that has defined their sound.
"This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. Thereβs a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above whatβs tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us," explains Andy Biersack.
Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes itβs about getting even with someone else, sometimes itβs about confronting ourselves and our past, our pain, or the things that were done to us. At its core, though, this album is about resilience.
"It's for anyone who's ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldnβt see their vision. We're all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful."
The latest preview from the album arrives with the release of the title track, "Vindicate." Featuring a haunting calliope introduction that erupts into a driving wall of guitars and Biersack's signature scream, the song captures the dramatic scale and power fans have come to expect from Black Veil Brides. The track is now available across all digital service providers.
A NSFW music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah (who also helmed the visual for "Certainty") can be seen Below.
In support of the new album, Black Veil Brides will embark on their first North American headline tour of 2026. The 24-city run kicks off April 25 in Riverside and concludes May 30 in Worcester. Back in 2012, Great American Ghost rose up out of the Northeast with an undeniable and unpredictable signature style. They quietly progressed over the course of Everyone Leaves [2015], Hatred Stems From The Seed [2017], and Power Through Terror [2020] (named one of RIFF's 60 Best Metal Albums of 2020), while tallying millions of streams. Leveling up, 2022's Torture World EP earned widespread acclaim. NO ECHO christened it "a 4-song EP as brutal as its title suggests," and V13 raved, "It may only be four tracks long but every single one of these fourteen savage minutes will absolutely maul you to within an inch of your life." Along the way, they toured with everyone from The Ghost Inside to Alpha Wolf and Fit For A King. Signing to Sharptone Records, they hit the studio with producer Will Putney and crafted Tragedy Of The Commons, which arrived in early 2025.
Plume Release "!REAL SPIRIT!" Video
PLUME donβt ease into a release β they make an entrance you can't ignore.
With "!REAL SPIRIT! Caught On Tape," the emo/alternative force push things further into their own lane β raw, unfiltered, and wired with a kind of restless energy that refuses to sit still. It's chaotic in the right places, intentional where it needs to be, and carried by a pulse that feels more like a moment than just a song.
Following the impact of their previous release "Digital Waterboarding," the band double down on everything that made people pay attention in the first place β but sharper, louder, and more defined.
Freshly signed to Arising Empire, PLUME aren't here to follow what's already happening around them. There's a new wave forming β rougher around the edges, more expressive, less predictable β and "!REAL SPIRIT! Caught On Tape" sits right at the center of it. Not by calculation, but by instinct.
Blending emo sensibilities with alternative grit and a visual identity shaped by distortion, nostalgia and digital overload, the band create something that feels immediate and alive. Itβs not polished for comfort β it's built to leave a mark.
PLUME are stepping in at full speed.
And this is only the first signal.
Lost In Hollywood Present Their Self-Titled Album
Lost In Hollywood don't arrive with a debut β they crash into it.
Their self-titled record "Lost In Hollywood" isn't an introduction. It's a statement carved out of momentum, built on the back of a run of singles that didn't just perform β they connected. Track by track, the band turned heads, pulled listeners in, and quietly built something real. No shortcuts, no overnight hype β just steady growth that now reflects in over 130,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
At the center of it all sits "Ghost In The Water."
Not a centerpiece by accident, but by weight. The kind of track that doesnβt ask for attention β it holds it. Tension-driven, immersive, and cutting deeper with every second, it captures exactly where Lost In Hollywood stand right now: Confident, refined, and fully locked into their identity.
The self-titled album pulls together everything they've been building toward β the sharp edges, the atmosphere, the hooks that linger longer than expected. It feels intentional without losing urgency. Controlled, but never safe.
Lost In Hollywood have outgrown the "next up" label.
This is the point where they arrive β and stay.
Code:Words Drop New Single "All Consuming" Video
CODE:WORDS, who recently joined The Artery Foundation roster, have just shared their new single "ALL CONSUMING."
It's a masterful slice of electro pop metalcore that will take up real estate in your brain for weeks at a time. It also looks at the kill or be killed stance one often has to take in relationships.
Listen Below.
"'All Consuming' is about struggling with the realization that you can't save someone who doesn't want to save themselves," offers singer John Dillon. "That, over time, you can break yourself down in service of others and not realize the effects it had on you. At some point, you're faced with an uncomfortable choice: Them or me. I think this is a moment a lot of people can relate to. We all have someone in our lives that we'd do anything to protect from the cold realities of the world, but eventually you have to tell them 'I won't set myself on fire to keep you warm anymore.'"
The band's sound was shaped alongside producer Hiram Hernandez (Blessthefall, Honey Revenge). The approach is deliberate. Clear, and concise with one objective; Give you everything until, you feel it all
.ABOUT CODE:WORDS:
When CODE:WORDS formed in Los Angeles in 2023, they did not arrive quietly. The band showed up with urgency and a sound that already felt lived in β like it had a past behind it, like they'd been a touring act for years before anyone was paying attention.
They first gained attention with "Wash the Blood," a self-released debut that spread without a rollout or a manufactured moment. In this short time, the band has now amassed over two million streams worldwide, not on hype, but on repeat listens and slow-built loyalty. Early 2026 marked another breakout moment for CODE:WORDS as they announced their signing to longtime industry powerhouse The Artery Foundation and released their most dynamic single to date with "Limerence." The song quickly took the industry by storm, debuting on Sirius XM's Octane Test Drive, earning a spot in rotation, and on Kerrang Radio's Unleashed in the UK.
Fronted by John Dillon, with Garrett Lowery and Max Codoceo, CODE:WORDS write from uncomfortable places: Obsession. Shame. Control. Emotional exhaustion. Nothing is exaggerated. Nothing is softened. The music is meant to make you feel something raw, and it leaves you uneasy in the best way.
Alt-rockers Noir Addiction dish up mischief and mayhem on "Serve Me Some Crime" single
Alternative-industrial rockers Noir Addiction present their new single "Serve Me Some Crime", a sarcastic manifesto about embracing chaos and contradiction, where rule-breaking, humor and non-conformity become tools of personal freedom. Presented with a smashing new video directed & edited by βͺJack Lucas Laugeni, it celebrates choosing instinct and madness over routine, control, and the suffocating seriousness of everyday life. This is the first taste of the album "Pretty Things Donβt Last", forthcoming via Berlin-based Soulpunx label.
Emerging with a raw, industrial-tinged soul, Noir Addiction is a powerhouse trio that harnesses a dark, heavy aesthetic against a backdrop of classic rock βnβ roll grit. Founded by Sonny Lanegan, who handles vocals, guitars, synthesizers, and programming, the band is rounded out by drummer Roberto Catanzaro and Nessie Zorba on keyboards and percussion. A seasoned musician and producer, Laneganβs creative vision was shaped by cutting his teeth in Los Angeles's high-octane music scene, where he honed his experimental style as singer-songwriter for White Pulp and co-founder of The Dead Good.
βServe Me Some Crimeβ started from a really simple feeling: sometimes life gets too serious. Too structured. Too polite. The word βcrimeβ in the song isnβt literal itβs more about breaking small, invisible rules. Itβs about those moments when you donβt want to behave exactly how youβre expected to. A regular Sunday can feel predictable, almost scripted, and the song plays with the idea of shaking that up adding a bit of danger, irony, or mischief to something ordinary,β says Sonny Lanegan.
βAt its core, the song is about freedom not the peaceful, inspirational kind, but the messy kind. The kind where you allow yourself to be contradictory, to not have it all figured out, to embrace a bit of chaos instead of pretending youβre always in control. Itβs me saying: if life insists on being absurd, I might as well play along.β
Based in Italy, Noir Addiction has electrifying their way onto the music scene through their clever mix of glamorously haunting atmosphere, sense of decadence, rebellion and obsession, Noir Addiction bring a high-voltage fusion of dark rock, grunge attitude and shock-rock energy. By fusing heavy, distorted guitars and electronic textures with theatrics and raw emotion, they offer an immersive experience that is meant to be felt just as much as it is heard.
βThereβs a lot of contradiction in the lyrics on purpose. Lines like βI donβt need forgiveness right nowβ or βI wear the joke to fightβ reflect that push and pull between being sincere and hiding behind humor. I think many of us do thatβ¦ we joke when things get uncomfortable, we act cool instead of saying what we really feel. The song lives in that space. Writing it felt like letting myself misbehave creatively. I didnβt overthink it, I followed the impulses that felt a little reckless. The lyrics came out in bursts, almost like I was arguing with myself. Thereβs tension in the song because thatβs how I felt: torn between wanting to stay composed and wanting to blow everything up,β says Sonny Lanegan.
βWhen we recorded it, I wanted that tension to stay alive. We didnβt polish away the edges. The vocals needed attitude something slightly provocative, almost teasing. I wanted the track to feel cool but restless at the same time, like thereβs something simmering underneath. We played with that contrast between restraint and release, keeping it tight in some moments and then letting it loosen just enough to feel unpredictable. That balance is really what gives the song its characterβ.
Sonny Lanegan brings years of behind-the-scenes studio and production experience to Noir Addiction. Many of his songs have also been licensed to and featured in American TV shows, cementing his presence in mainstream media and propelling him into notable collaborations with artists and producers, which has sharpened his sound and pushed his creative vision to new heights.
Lanegan eventually reconnected with his old friend Nessie Zorba, former bandmate in PostHuman, with whom they toured Europe, rekindling their deep musical connection and passion for relentless intensity and depth and channelling this unfiltered energy into this new, heavier, darker project. Drummer Roberto Catanzaro then joined in, bringing a new dynamic layer to their presence, his powerful and heavy-weighted performance adding body, urgency and raw impact to their overall sound.
Soulpunx is an independent record label and media production house founded in 2017 by music producer and film composer Konstantin Dellos. Dedicated to the creation and promotion of high-quality audiovisual art, the label's focus is modern rock and alternative music. Beyond music, Soulpunx produces short films, documentaries and music videos, always emphasizing powerful storytelling.
As of March 20, "Serve Me Some Crime" will be available across digital platforms, includingSpotify,Apple Music and Bandcamp. The full "Pretty Things Donβt Last" album will be released on July 16 via SoulPunx Records.
Noir Addiction will be touring in support of this EP, beginning with two special shows in Prague - at Subzero Pragueon May 14 and at Chapeau Rouge on May 15.

The Hu Unleash Not One, But Two Songs With "The Men" + "Warrior Chant"
It's a double dose of brand new music from Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu.
The Gold-certified global phenomenon deliver "The Men" which is accompanied by an official music video, alongside "Warrior Chant," both out now via Better Noise Music. Listen to "The Men" here.
Watch the video Below.
Listen to "Warrior Chant" here.
Traditional Mongolian strings herald the arrival of "The Men." This organic swell gives way to a gritty and gruff groove-laden riff topped off with hypnotic vocals. The bandβs signature hybrid of indigenous instrumentation, heavy-as-a-2x4 guitars, and transfixing tribal chanting makes for another essential anthem from The Hu. Itβs tailor-made for an epic battle scene, climax of your favorite video game, or workout session. At the same time, it's evocative of the musicians' own tradition and heritage.
About "The Men," Galaa commented, "'The Men' is written based on Mongolian philosophy of 'Manβs Inner Spirit' or 'Π₯ΠΈΠΉΠΌΠΎΡΡ' and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song try to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share to the rest of humanity. Lyrics are chants that guides young and old men alike to be headstrong and to have dream that cultivate goodness. We only wanted to focus on the positives that can make a man ponder about who he is in this world and wonder about how he can have positive inner spirit when listening to it. Hope our fans will be able to capture every fiber of Mongolian Manβs way of living through this song."
Then, there's "Warrior Chant." It lives up to its title with a hard-charging chorus and a tight and taut metallic soundscape. Between the horse head fiddle and instantly recognizable delivery, it immediately amplifies everything that fans have fallen in love with about the band in the first place.
Regarding "Warrior Chant," Galaa added, "'Warrior Chant' has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is 'our song.' Our third album has bit of everything, rhythm-wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre... Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song."
Get ready for more music from The Hu soon.
The Hu will team up with Cello Metal standouts Apocalyptica for a run of shows this May and June. The tour kicks off on May 12 in Silver Spring, MD and will take them across the country before wrapping in Anaheim, CA on June 7. Joining The Hu and Apocalyptica will be platinum-selling Finnish rock band The Rasmus.
Tickets and additional information on VIP packages available HERE
In addition to closing all shows on this tour, The Hu are celebrating the recent release of their latest single "The Real You," which is "the representation of our new album, The Hun," says Temka β Temuulen N (band's tovshuur player, throat singer). "The Real You" is one of the few songs from The Hu in which Western music components are prominent.
And in other The Hu news, the band recently appeared on the song "Pray to the Sun," featuring Declan de Barra, from the Netflix Japanese manga series One Piece. It's another instance of the band and its music connecting with passionate fandoms, as their song "Sugaan Essena" was also prominently featured in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game.

ICE NINE KILLS PRESENTS βHell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)β
Their sons may have eclipsed them in the 21st Century, but for a sleazy moment, Grave Diggler left its stain on hard partying rock nβ roll with decadence, desecrations, and panty raids. The group once stood shoulder to shoulder with their eyeliner-and-excess peers in Poison, MΓΆtley CrΓΌe, and W.A.S.P., before bad business and even worse drugs dampened the fire in their loins. By the early β90s, like many glam bands, Grave Diggler faded from the spotlight.
But history has a strange way of digglering up the past.
When the directing duo behind Scream (2022) and Scream VI, began work on the sequel to their 2019 black comedy horror hit Ready or Not, they desperately wanted to include one of Grave Digglerβs forgotten classic anthems. But even after Radio Silence Productions deduced the connection with Spencer Charnas, securing the rights was no mean feat.
The ensuing legal battle between fathers and sons resulted in Ice Nine Kills re-recording βHell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)β for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come and the long-banned 1987 music video for the song seeing the light of day.
βIβve been estranged from my father for a long time,β Spencer explains. βBut this movie, and this song, while bringing a lot of complicated feelings to the surface, also brought us back together.β
βIce Nine Kills Presents Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt 2)β .
Watch and listen Below.
Broken Lizardβs Paul Soter (Super Troopers), a lifelong Diggler obsessive, teamed up with director Myles Erfurth (Pandemic Sex Party) and Spencer to detail the bandβs tale in a forthcoming documentary.
Laid to Rest: The Grave Diggler Story features all-new interviews with Ready or Not 2: Here I Comeβs Samara Weaving (The Babysitter), Kathryn Newton (Freaky), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), and directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett; Stephen Pearcy (Ratt); Matt Pinfield (MTV); Michael Starr (Steel Panther); Jose Mangin (SiriusXM); James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca (Dead Meat); Andy Gould (former Rob Zombie and Guns Nβ Roses manager); and both Sonny and Spencer Charnas.
In recent years, Ice Nine Kills toured the world with Metallica; βA Grave Mistakeβ went gold; βA Work of Artβ was in Terrifier 3, the highest-grossing unrated film ever; and βTwisting the Knifeβ ft. Mckenna Grace, from Scream 7 (which topped the box office upon release and set a franchise best record for Scream) shot to No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts.
But even as Ice Nine Kills Presents βHell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)β blazes into Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (playing both in an early scene and again over the closing credits), Sonny Charnas remains characteristically unimpressed. βYou call my son shrieking into a microphone like a meshuggah mental patient βsingingβ? Thatβs not heavy metal. Iβm heavy metal."

"There's a quiet loss of control that comes from feeling like you can't fully be yourself anymore,β offers singer Jeffrey Moreira. βWhen you have to shrink who you are just to avoid judgment or conflict, it starts to feel like something is being taken from you. That's what 'Weeping Tones' is about.β
He continues, "This video reflects that struggle, but it also holds onto something stronger β the one thing no one can take from you: Your ability to give your love and energy to the people who matter most. No matter how heavy the world gets, no matter how much it tries to pull you apart, you can always choose to keep walking until you reach what matters most β hold it close, and never let go."

ABOUT POISON THE WELL:
In the space of barely a breath, Poison The Well pacify fits of jarring brutality with moments of fragile beauty. Their unmistakable melodic hardcore gently dilutes the effects of trauma, betrayal, depression, and loss with hard-won wisdom and diligently earned self-acceptance. For as much force as they commit to the riffs and the breakdowns, thereβs an equal amount of naked emotion encoded in their relatable hooks. At this point, they are unassumingly, yet undeniably embedded in the DNA of modern metal and hardcore. Poison The Wellβs 1999 debut, The Opposite of Decemberβ¦ A Season of Separation has claimed spots on BrooklynVegan's 15 '90s Metalcore Albums That Still Resonate Today; KERRANG!'s 21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time; Loudwire's 25 Best Metalcore Albums of All Time; and Revolver's 10 Most Influential Metalcore Albums of All Time. Stereogumput it best, "The Opposite of Decemberβ¦ A Season of Separation influenced a whole generation of metalcore bands." Meanwhile, 2003's You Come Before You remains regarded among Metal Hammer's 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the 21st Century and Rock Sound's 250 Greatest Albums of Our Lifetime. Despite going on hiatus following 2009's The Tropic Rot, the group's influence has only expanded over the years (as evidenced by over 100 million streams across their catalog). After touring in 2015 and 2021, they've commemorated milestone birthdays of both You Come Before You and The Opposite of December... with in-demand headline jaunts. Once again, the members felt an intense need to create as a unit. Rallying together, the guys channeled the spirit of their most celebrated material through a prism of new experience on their sixth full-length offering, Peace In Place.
