Elegant Weapons Release New Single “Bridges Burn” Following Signing with Exciter Records; Album Evolution Due April 24

Elegant Weapons, the hard rock and heavy metal powerhouse led by Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner, have released their new single “Bridges Burn,” the first track from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album Evolution, due April 24, 2026 on Exciter Records.

The album will be released digitally and on CD on April 24, 2026, with a special edition vinyl pressing to follow later in the year.

The lead single “Bridges Burn” is available now on all streaming platforms:

Elegant Weapons features a formidable lineup: Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), vocalist Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, MSG), bassist Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep), and drummer Christopher Williams (Accept).

With Evolution, the band pushes its sound forward — combining razor-sharp riffing, arena-sized hooks, and technical precision with a chemistry forged through touring and collaboration. The album was co-produced by Faulkner alongside Andy Sneap (Judas Priest’s touring guitarist, who also produced Priest’s Invincible Shield), with the recording spanning Nashville, Europe, and France — a truly global effort reflecting the band’s international pedigree.

“This record represents growth in every sense,” said Richie Faulkner. “When the four of us come together, we sound like Elegant Weapons. We’ve spent time on the road, we’ve developed a chemistry, and you can hear that evolution in the performances. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m excited to begin this next chapter with Exciter Records.”

For Exciter Records, the signing marks a strategic move into contemporary metal while reinforcing the label’s deep ties to the genre’s foundations. Exciter Records and its publishing affiliate Reach Music, recently acquired Judas Priest’s landmark early albums Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny, making the partnership with Richie Faulkner and Elegant Weapons a natural continuation of that legacy into a new era.

“Richie Faulkner is not only one of the most respected guitarists as a member of Judas Priest, but he is also a leader in forming and developing Elegant Weapons,” said Michael Closter, Founder and President of Exciter Records. “Signing Elegant Weapons is a natural step for Exciter Records as we continue to honor metal’s heritage while investing in its future.”

The album features standout tracks including the opener “Evil Eyes,” the groove-driven anthem “Generation Me,” and the lead single “Bridges Burn,” alongside the instrumental “Rupture,” an emotionally charged composition inspired in part by Faulkner’s life-threatening onstage medical emergency in 2021.

With Evolution, Elegant Weapons solidify their identity as a band defined not simply by pedigree, but by forward momentum.

Dirty Heads Announce New Album "7 Seas" // Share "One Of Those Days" Video

Southern California's favorite sons, the RIAA Platinum Certified band DIRTY HEADS, will serve up their much-anticipated ninth full-length album, 7 Seas, on June 12 via Better Noise Music. Pre-order/pre-save 7 Seas here.

To herald this exciting news, the band shared the video for new single "One of Those Days."

Listen to the song here.

Watch the official music video below.

Regarding the track, vocalist/guitarist Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B) says, "This is a song about getting together with some close friends and just enjoying the moment. With everything going on in the world today, it's nice to have a lighthearted song like this to remind us to go have a good time."

The band's Jon Olazabal furthers, "'One of Those Days' is a quintessential Dirty Heads song. It feels like something you want to blast in your car and sing along with at the end of a long week. It's about getting together with the people you love and having a good time."

He finishes, "We recorded this song out in Nashville, which has sort of become our second home for writing and recording music."

DIRTY HEADS' signature brew of sun-kissed reggae, breezy hip-hop, boundary-breaking alternative, and hazy pop is as intoxicating as ever on "One of Those Days." Anchored by a head-nodding groove, slick verses crest on the wave of an instantly unforgettable hook. The accompanying visual welcomes everyone into the group's world, bringing the song to life seamlessly. As always, the track and the video continue to distinguish this collective as outliers. 7 Seas represents yet another evolution for the outfit.

About the album, Olazabal shares, "This album has something for everyone. Every mood, every vibe, every occasion. Having beers at the beach? Gotcha covered. Need some hype ass, late night bangers? Gotcha covered there, too. And everything in between, as well. We worked our asses off on this record, and as a band and individuals, we've been through a lot during the process. We are stoked to release it into the wild and for people to find their own connections with these songs."

In tandem with the impending LP, DIRTY HEADS have just launched a collaboration with 4ocean — a global organization on a mission to end the ocean plastic crisis. The seeds for this alliance were planted when frontman Jared Watson embarked on an excursion alongside the 4ocean team. Together, they picked up trash from the shoreline of Key Largo at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. A major success, the trip resulted in the removal of over 750 pounds of trash - equivalent to approximately 36,000 plastic water bottles. The trash collected on the excursion has been recycled into a Dirty Heads 4ocean bracelet. Fans can help 4ocean pull even more plastic out of the ocean with purchase of the bracelets — either individually or as part of a very special and very limited, premium vinyl edition of the new album, which is now available for pre-order on the band's store [LINK]. This edition also features an exclusive vinyl color variant, the aforementioned Dirty Heads 4ocean bracelet, and a 16-page booklet of images documenting the 4ocean cleanup effort, as well as photos from the studio sessions for 7 Seas. It's a "must own" for DIRTY HEADS diehards.

A pre-order will launch on the band's online store here.

ABOUT SACE6

sace6 are pop’s newest innovators, a Northeast-bred duo (NY + NJ) turning emotional contrast into sonic chemistry. Formed in 2024 by sace. and Noah Thomas, the project lives where pop melody, R&B intimacy, and metal intensity collide, genres not blended, but forced to coexist. Built on a monochromatic romanticism and a tension heavy aesthetic, sace6 creates music that feels both fragile and confrontational. Their sound thrives on duality: softness versus distortion, vulnerability versus volume. They have already taken their vision worldwide with standout appearances across North America, UK, and Europe. With new music on the horizon in 2026 and a packed touring schedule ahead, sace6 are just getting started, and they’re not interested in playing it safe.

Siamese Unleash New Single "drown" Ahead Of Headline Tours

Modern metal act Siamese return with their powerful new single "drown," the first taste of a new album campaign following their acclaimed releases HOME (2021) and ELEMENTS (2024).

Having amassed more than 100 million streams and toured worldwide alongside heavyweights including Korn, Corey Taylor and Dayseeker, the Copenhagen outfit continues to refine its emotionally charged blend of metalcore and modern rock.

"'Drown' is self-directed anger," explains frontman Mirza Radonjica. "It's about knowing exactly where it hurts and going there anyway. The mirroring in this song is selfdepravating(sic?). I think that when I sing 'I want you to break me till I drown,' that’s both a confession and a request. My drowning becomes a release, not a punishment."

Hollywood Undead Sample Legendary Slayer Riff On Ruthless New Anthem "1x1"

Los Angeles, CA -- Hollywood Undead release new single "1x1" today via Sumerian Records. The track is built around a sample of the legendary riff from Slayer's "Raining Blood" and arrives as the band carries the momentum of a massive 2025 straight into a spring and summer festival circuit spanning North America and Europe. Stream "1x1" HERE and watch the accompanying music video below.

"1x1" makes no apology for what it is. Built on hard-pounding beats and the unmistakable bones of one of metal's most revered tracks, it finds Hollywood Undead in full victory-lap mode, the chorus landing like a verdict: one by one they fall, let the reaper take them all. The band has spent seventeen years earning the right to talk like this, and the numbers back it up. With over 3.2 billion cross-platform streams and 4.1 million monthly Spotify listeners, "1x1" is the natural evolution of a band that knows exactly where they stand.

Matt Good (Skrillex and The Haunt), handles production. The nu-metalesque beats lay the foundation, the slowed down "Raining Blood" riff builds the vibe and the punchy rap verses build to a huge chorus to create an undeniable banger, the likes of which Hollywood Undead have spent nearly two decades perfecting.

Speaking on today's release, Hollywood Undead share

“This song is about resilience. People are always going to doubt you or try to bring you down, but the point is getting back up every time and reminding them you’re still here, and that you can’t be replaced.”

"Hollywood Forever," the band's October 2024 Sumerian Records debut, set the tone for this chapter, cracking 20.3 million cross-platform streams and peaking at #18 at Active Rock radio. "SAVIOR" followed in June 2025, pulling the band in a darker, more emotionally exposed direction. "1x1" lands as the third piece, and the pivot back is deliberate. Where "SAVIOR" was confession, this is confrontation.

In between, 2025 kept Hollywood Undead busy. A co-headline run with Tech N9ne. Mainstage slots at Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, and Louder Than Life. A full run supporting Falling In Reverse on the God Is A Weapon tour through arenas and amphitheatres across North America. The band also continued work on their ninth studio album.

"1x1" arrives with that momentum fully intact and nowhere to go but forward as Hollywood Undead head into a festival run that spans two continents, opening with Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach in May, moving through a full European circuit this summer, and closing out stateside with Rocklahoma in September. Full dates below.

A.A. WILLIAMS Announces New Album Solstice And Releases New Single And Video "Hold It Together"

After wrapping up a successful UK and European tour, musician, singer, and songwriter A.A. WILLIAMS, known for her atmospheric, emotionally charged music, returns with her new single "Hold It Together" taken from her newly announced forthcoming album Solstice, due for release on 5th June via RPM. Pre-orders for the album open on April 22nd.

"Hold It Together" explores the fragile tension between resilience and internal collapse. With her characteristic blend of haunting atmosphere, immersive sound and emotional intensity, the London-based artist captures the experience of carrying deep feeling while presenting calm on the surface.

Speaking about the song, A.A. WILLIAMS explains:

“Silence exists where you long for answers, a bleak fragility that you daren’t disturb. Where beauty stood only the faintest glow remains, afraid of smothering it you shrink into a mould of your own making. Your edges dulled, your features disappearing, you put on that brave face not knowing whether you do it to protect others or yourself. You smile, you carry on, feeling everything, showing nothing.”

The track unfolds with quiet intensity, balancing vulnerability and restraint while drawing listeners into its immersive and emotionally rich soundscape.

Watch the video Below:

Solstice finds A.A. WILLIAMS standing at the threshold between shadow and renewal, shaping songs that feel carved from storms and starlight. Known for her haunting vocals, cinematic dynamics and emotional clarity, Williams expands her sonic world with music that moves like a ritual through shifting seasons. Moments of stark intimacy open into surging crescendos as guitars swell and crash like gathering weather, anchored by a formidable sense of weight and scale. Strings glow with fragile warmth before giving way to waves of heavy distortion and all-encompassing catharsis, while her voice rises from quiet confession to commanding intensity. Drawn from years of global touring, acclaimed collaborations and boundary-pushing reinterpretations, Solstice captures an artist in full command of her craft. The album is intimate yet immense, delicate yet thunderous — guiding listeners through darkness with both vulnerability and force toward a distant, resolute dawn.

About A.A. Williams

Having made her debut live appearance at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands off the back of a self-titled EP, A.A. WILLIAMS has since toured across the globe with the likes of CULT OF LUNA, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, SLEEP TOKEN and THE SISTERS OF MERCY, as well as establishing herself as a headline artist - including a show at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall inside London's Southbank Centre.

Standout festival appearances have dovetailed with two album releases - 2020's "Forever Blue" and 2022's "As The Moon Rests" - both of which received widespread critical acclaim and placed A.A. WILLIAMS at the forefront of a wave of artists taking textured, epic and folk-rooted heavy music into new and progressive directions. A BBC session at the legendary Maida Vale Studios only bolstered her credentials.

Never one to rest on her laurels, she has also released a series of "companion pieces": a collaborative single with Japanese post-rock titans MONO ("Exit In Darkness"); a solo covers collection recorded during 2020's pandemic lockdown - Songs From Isolation - that drew praise from THE CURE's Robert Smith and SMASHING PUMPKINS' Billy Corgan; and perhaps most impressively, 2021's arco, in which the multi-instrumentalist completely reworked her debut EP from rock instrumentation to string ensemble, drawing on her classical training to stunning effect.

Now signed to Reigning Phoenix Music, the singles "Just A Shadow" and "Wolves" - the first taste of forthcoming album Solstice, due 5th June 2026 - have already turned heads, with Rock Sound calling her "one of the most vital voices in modern alternative culture" and Kerrang! declaring her work "typically spell-binding."

Defences Unveil Metamorphosis" Video

Defences are your new favorite alternative metal band.

Known for their eclectic mix of synth-heavy melodies and crushing riffs, fronted by the sultry and androgynous tones of singer Cherry Duesbury, Defences have taken what we've all come to love about metalcore to the next level.

Over 10 years, two EPs, and three LPs, the underlying theme of the necessity for introspection, self-reflection, and finding your inner strength bears strong. It's self-acceptance-core at its finest.

Today, the band, hailing from Hertfordshire, UK, returns, with their new single "Metamorphosis"  a motivational reminder to keep going, a reminder that you get to write your own story, and sometimes that can mean burning everything down to start over. In the wake of the single's release, Defences will tour the UK with Mason Hill, perform at summer festivals in the UK and EU, and support Future Palace on their UK run in November.

Watch the "Metamorphosis" video below

Stream the single here.

"'Metamorphosis' is all about transformation, and surrendering to it," comments Defences. "We are evolutionary beings, constantly growing and adapting to the different paths life takes us down, constantly saying goodbye to old versions of ourselves. It can be painful, uncomfortable, and terrifying, even when we know it's meant for us. This song is a motivational reminder to keep going, a reminder that you get to write your own story, and sometimes that can mean burning everything down to start over."

HELLRIPPER Unleashes Music Video for Sinister New Single, "Mortercheyn"

Scotland's ibex-obsessed blackened thrash bastard of Hades, otherwise known as HELLRIPPER, is now delivering yet another crushing blow from his forthcoming opus! The ominous new single, "Mortercheyn," can be found along with a sunning music video that was video produced, directed and edited by David Gregory below.

"Mortercheyn" is taken from HELLRIPPER's upcoming fourth studio album, 'Coronach,' which will be released worldwide on March 27, 2026 via Century Media Records, making it his debut to the label! 'Coronach' can be pre-ordered HERE.

Hellripper mastermind, guitarist/vocalist and songwriter James McBain comments, "Much like the previously released 'Kinchyle (Goatkraft and Granite),' the lyrics on this track come from a more personal place. The title itself is a little nod to a track on the previous album, 'The Nuckelavee,' and mortercheyn is said to be the disease spread by the creature in its wake. It is a contagious and lethal sickness that primarily affects horses, and is used in the song to represent the decay and downfall of the world.

"Musically, 'Mortercheyn' is a crust track at its core, drenched in a sinister atmosphere that lies between the black metal vibe of Watain and the raw aggression of bands like Martyrdöd and Skitsystem. Hints of Whiplash and Agent Steel are clearly evident in the guitar work and are paired with some uncomfortable ambience inspired by the likes of Aphex Twin and Venetian Snares. On the surface, it may feel like one of the less 'complex' songs on the album, but I think there's quite a lot going on throughout”.

In addition, Hellripper has recently announced a string of support shows for thrash metal legend Testament in Spain and France. In addition, Hellripper will next embark on European headline tour alongside Schizophrenia and Sarcator to promote 'Coronach' and has also revealed a number of festival appearances and two performances in Mexico.

Enter the GOAT KVLT HERE.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, Hellripper has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, bravehearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from “Kill 'Em All” era Hetfield and “Welcome to Hell” era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's “Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags” that Metal Injection stated: "Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning”. McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into Hellripper's Century Media debut “Coronach”.

THE ETERNAL Release New Lyric Video for “Casting Down Shadows”!

Following the release of their latest, much-acclaimed EP Celestial in January via Reigning Phoenix Music, Australian-Finnish dark metal outfit THE ETERNAL return with new visuals. Today, the band presents an official lyric video for the haunting track "Casting Down Shadows".

Driven by melancholic melodies, brooding atmosphere, and the band’s signature blend of doom, gothic, and melodic metal, the song unfolds as a slowburning and emotionally charged journey. The track moves between haunting passages and powerful crescendos, capturing the reflective and cinematic mood that defines Celestial.

Speaking about the song’s lyrical themes, frontman Mark Kelson explains:

"The lyrics of ‘Casting Down Shadows’ evoke a journey through time, turmoil, and self-discovery, framed by imagery of storms, moons, and barren lands. They portray a struggle with loss, broken ties, and hidden desires, yet also a determination to face the tempest and carve a path forward despite fear. The recurring motif of ‘casting down shadows’ suggests confronting darkness while seeking truth and illumination, with the promise of renewal and return echoing throughout. Ultimately, the song captures the tension between despair and resilience, presenting an endless cycle of falling into shadow yet rising again to continue the search for meaning and fire.”

With the new lyric video, THE ETERNAL further highlight the emotional depth and introspective themes that run throughout Celestial, offering fans another way to experience one of the EP’s most evocative tracks. Watch the clip now streaming Below.

Following the success of their 2024 album Skinwalker, the band's new EP Celestialsees THE ETERNAL continue their signature fusion of melancholic atmospheres, doom-laden heaviness, and progressive depth. The progressive gothic metal collective once again delivers an emotive and cinematic journey through sound and spirit, unafraid to embrace both beauty and bleakness while charting new creative horizons.

With Mark Kelson (vocals/guitars) and Richie Poate (guitars) in Melbourne, joined by Niclas Etelävuori (bass, ex-Amorphis/Flat Earth) and Jan Rechberger (drums, Amorphis) in Helsinki, THE ETERNAL have solidified themselves as a truly international collaboration. Their music resonates with fans of acts such as KATATONIA, SWALLOW THE SUN, and ANATHEMA - dark yet luminous, heavy yet emotionally transcendent!

Celestial is available digitally and as a limited, eco-friendly recycled vinyl LP edition (exclusively available through the band’s official store and the RPM shop). Order your favorite choice of format at this location: https://theeternal.rpm.link/celestialPR

The Noise Who Runs (Sneaker Pimps' Ian Pickering) releases scathing 'Bang Bang' single, heralding new 'RE: GEN X' album

UK alternative electro-pop artist The Noise Who Runs is back with the topical single 'Bang Bang' and accompanying video, capturing the psychic exhaustion of life lived inside permanent crisis mode. It’s a song about running on empty — physically, emotionally, politically — where outrage replaces thought and reaction substitutes for responsibility. Previewing the new 'RE: GEN X' album, forthcoming via TNWR Records, he also presents the similarly-minded 'The Bodies Are Under The Bus Again' with a video that will resonate with folks at their very core.

The Noise Who Runs is songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ian Pickering, known for his work with Sneaker Pimps and Front Line Assembly. Native toHartlepool in the north-east of England, Pickering co-authored such Sneaker Pimps hits as 'Spin Spin Sugar', '6 Underground' and 'Tesko Suicide'. In 2019, he launched this project, three years after relocating to Lille, France.

“Bang Bang is a day in the life of a typical 21st Century employee. The verses are the day to day reality, the mundane grind of routine for little reward, struggling against soaring costs and stagnant wages, watching idiots with fortunes dictate the agenda for destroying, first, the post-war dream, and second, the entire planet on which we depend," says Ian Pickering.

“This is the reality for everyone, but it’s Generation X, the true beneficiaries of the post-war dream, who marched everyone up to the top of the hill and sat down to enjoy its ultimately selfish, me-first view, while Generation Y, Z and all who follow have to navigate life on the knife-edge precipice. And seemingly, it’s Disney lemmings time - honey, we fucked up the kids!”

The lyrics collapse the serious and the trivial into the same breath, mirroring a culture where catastrophe, misinformation and distraction coexist without hierarchy. Repeated questions about “bringing it back” point to our compulsion to recycle failed systems and ideas, even after recognising their damage, while the refusal of false enlightenment rejects the comforting myth that awareness alone leads to change.

The Noise Who Runs' new offerings follow the 2024 EP ‘Come and Join the Beautiful Army’ and the 2023 debut album ‘Preteretrospective’, both released to rave reviews and airplay in more than 60 countries. As with those, the new record was mixed and mastered by Colin C at The Cell Studio.

'RE: GEN X' is both a reckoning and a reply — a response from within a generation that inherited progress, equality, and expanding liberty, but failed to defend them when they came under threat. Framed by the cultural optimism of late-1980s youth and the 1990s second summer of love, the album questions how a generation defined by scepticism, freedom, and possibility became comfortable with inaction as those gains were slowly dismantled and how scepticism hardened into detachment, irony replaced action, and silence came to feel like neutrality. Rather than nostalgia, it offers a critique of passivity: what happens when a generation knows better, but does nothing.

Across the record, exhaustion, outrage, and repetition form a recurring loop. Political failure, cultural denial, and performative morality are examined not as abstract forces, but as habits — things learned, tolerated, and repeated. The album resists slogans and solutions, instead holding up a mirror to complicity, comfort and collapse. This record doesn’t ask to be forgiven; it asks to be examined — and leaves open the question of whether awareness, this time, will finally lead to action.

On March 10, 'Bang Bang' is available from fine music platforms, including SpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp. On May 8, the "RE: GEN X" album will be released via TNWR Records.

SUNSWARM Announce Crushing New Single "Erasure" Ahead of Forthcoming Album

Southampton, UK industrial post-metal act SUNSWARM announce the release of their new single "Erasure."

"Erasure" is not structured as a traditional single. Across eight minutes, the track unfolds as a bleak and overwhelming piece of industrial post-metal, built from early 90s industrial sampling techniques, scorched guitar textures, and vocals shaped by black-metal intensity. Rhythms move like shifts in pressure rather than conventional song structures, creating an atmosphere of suffocation and psychological weight.

Emerging from UK South Coast underground scene, SUNSWARM draw influence from the brutal desolation of GODFLESH, the spiritual intensity of AMENRA, the sonic extremity of THE BODY, and the cosmic dread of ORANSSI PAZUZU. Their sound merges industrial noise, post-metal density, and extreme vocal expression into something immersive and deeply physical.

The band describe the track as the emotional entry point into the record: "This is the opening track from our forthcoming album. It’s not a song. It’s 8 minutes of bleak, overwhelming Industrial Post-Metal. No Light. This nihilism is not a political or philosophical position. It is waking in the middle of the night and feeling a void. The growing feeling of strangulation in this creeping dystopia that the power structures and their tech is dragging us and our children into.

When you strip back the substances and digital, what oxygen do we have left? Erasure. Erased."

With "Erasure", SUNSWARM present confrontation rather than escape, reflecting modern anxiety, technological alienation, and the erosion of identity within an increasingly mechanized world.

The single is a harbinger of a wider conceptual release, with further details on the forthcoming album to be announced soon.

About SUNSWARM:

SUNSWARM is led by vocalist and bassist Rich Lee-Davis and vocalist and guitarist Neil Sutton, joined by additional contributors who extend the band’s sonic and visual reach. Together they construct an immersive environment where sound, light, and texture collide. Their creative world is defined by sensory overload, stark monochrome imagery, disorienting strobe work, and the feeling of being enclosed within an atmosphere that is both vast and hostile. Everything they create is intended to overwhelm, to blur the line between performance and encounter.

From their earliest ideas, SUNSWARM have operated from a place of complete self-definition, shaping a language of heaviness that goes beyond impact or aggression. They approach weight and intensity as emotional terrain, a landscape shaped by pressure, absence, and the darker edges of lived experience. Their second single, “Erasure,” marks a further reveal of this landscape, a glimpse into the bleak and immersive world the band is building.

SUNSWARM is:

Rich Lee-Davis - vocals, bass
Neil Sutton - vocals, guitar
Additional contributors (live and studio) - to be announced

Teen Mortgage Drop "Burn" — WATCH // Touring With Joyce Manor

Washington, DC punk duo TEEN MORTGAGE — guitarist/vocalist James Guile and drummer Ed Barakauskas — have shared the brand new single "BURN" ahead of their late winter/spring tour with Joyce Manor.

The lyric video premiered over at Brooklyn Vegan. Watch and listen below.

"BURN" boasts push and pull tension and noisy riffs, and was co-produced by Zac Carper of FIDLAR.

"There was a compelling urgency to record 'Burn,'" says Guile. "It called to us from the ether like the green goblin mask. It's sick to get a break from being on the road to record something that feels like a progression from our first album, Devil Ultrasonic Dream, and in time to throw in the set for our tour supporting Joyce Manor...As far as the lyrics go, I'm just saying what we're all feeling."

Teen Mortgage, who have shared stages with the likes of Weezer and Smashing Pumpkins, are in the middle of a headline tour. Get tickets here. They will hit the road hard in 2026, as they are set to tour with Joyce Manor, Militarie Gun, and Combat next spring.

The Amity Affliction Tease Upcoming Album With Video for "Bleed"

THE AMITY AFFLICTION continue to tease the arrival of their much-anticipated new studio record, HOUSE OF CARDS, with the reveal of a blistering new single — "BLEED."

Released as the band continues their extensive tour of regional Australia, the latest from THE AMITY AFFLICTION lands with impact: A ferocious stride forward for the group into a brand new era of artistry.

Where previous single "HOUSE OF CARDS" was an emotionally weighted insight into the relationship songwriter JOEL BIRCH and his siblings shared with their mother, "BLEED" has manifested itself into an avenue for Birch to look at public perceptions and personas, versus the reality he exists in every day.

As he explains, "This song is a bit of a 'fuck you' to people online who leave comments like they know me personally, or know anything about what's happening in my life, and a bit of a reminder to myself that I am not beholden to that idea, and I am the person I know myself to be. 'I bleed the way I bleed...' is my way of saying that I am the way I am not the way I am perceived to be by people who don't actually know me and have formed or projected an idea of me onto me by way of social media."

Released alongside the single, THE AMITY AFFLICTION share the music video for ‘BLEED’, directed by [DIRECTOR NAME].

Watch "BLEED" music video Below:

The release of "BLEED" further positions the HOUSE OF CARDS era as one of the most exciting and defining for THE AMITY AFFLICTION — a band that has been driven by the desire to navigate new creative territory, music that empowers both them as a unit as well as their community of fans who have been with them throughout all their previous chapters.

HOUSE OF CARDS, the first full-length record to feature clean vocalist JONNY REEVES, is a moment of reinvention — and it is one the band is set to unleash in its full glory across a jam packed year of international touring to come.

Listening to Bike Routes is a lot like watching a montage from a classic coming-of-age flick.  Illuminated in the glow of warm synths, sparse guitar, and rich beats, you might catch a glimpse of a small town (much like the one you call home), a lovestruck young couple (as they make their escape into a new life), or an extraordinary feat accomplished by a seemingly ordinary person. Set to a soundtrack-esque patchwork of indie, emo, post-punk, and pop, a flurry of memories, experiences, and emotions flicker in and out of focus under the auteur-like direction of singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer David Osterhout.

"For this album, we had two years of careful and precise planning," Osterhout says. "These 11 songs are the perfect encapsulation of what Bike Routes was meant to be from the beginning. Even back when I was playing coffee shops ten years ago, this record is what I've been building towards."

Ever since his childhood, the South Jersey native has harbored an intense and obsessive passion for music. After years of grinding locally with an acoustic guitar, he introduced the world to Bike Routes with his 2020 debut Let It Go. His songcraft naturally evolved across Love Is An Action [2022] and the Rush of Energy EP [2024]. Along the way, he developed his stage presence, touring with Hawthorne Heights. Capitalizing on this momentum, he architected what would become Prairie with longtime producer Zach Tuch. David made a series of trips to Los Angeles where he brought these songs to life in Tuch's Woodland Hills studio. This time around, he leaned on his formative musical inspirations and nodded to favorite authors like Iris Murdoch, Kurt Vonnegut, and Cormac McCarthy whose Border Trilogy proved to be especially influential.

"New Jersey is big for me," he goes on. "As a kid, I listened to a lot of Bruce Springsteen in addition to My Chemical Romance. Then, my mom introduced me to ABBA. I'm a huge hip-hop fan, but I love hardcore, grind, and death metal too. My music pulls from all directions. I want my voice and lyrics to fit over anything. I added full band elements on Love Is An Action and expanded the sound even more on Rush of Energy. I'm in a different place again. Bike Routes will still be Bike Routes no matter what."

As Everything Unfolds Release Video for New Single "DENIAL"

As Everything Unfolds are gearing up for the release of their highly-anticipated new album, DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE?, on April 10 via Century Media.

The release of new single "DENIAL."

"Denial is the hardest thing to watch someone go through," shares Charlie Rolfe. "You can say or do nothing that will make them realize the horrible situation they're in, you see small moments of clarity where they're screaming out for help but they fall back into denial. It's their closest friend, their comfort. I found it the hardest phase to watch someone in addiction recovery go through. Their disregard for your emotional and physical well-being, your feelings don't even come into their mind. No matter how much you try to sympathize and say that you understand the pain they’re going through, it's never enough to convince them that they're not alone and their own destructive misery feels like they find joy in inflicting pain upon others, they feel better spreading their pain rather than facing it."

Depth. An infinity loop of layers that unravel over time. In the case of Charlie Rolfe, the importance of depth has come to define both the art that she creates — as frontwoman and lead vocalist of As Everything Unfolds — and re-contextualize the art she holds dearest.

"As I've gotten older, I've appreciated the depth of anything in my life," she explains. "I can never accept something for how it is on the surface, I have to understand it." Whether it’s the allegories and social commentary in Blade Runner, that desire for artistic depth flows through Charlie.

"I love absorbing information," she adds. "I think that information is one of the most powerful tools in the world, and it's undervalued by a lot of people. The more you know, the more you can potentially set yourself free." Which brings us to just one thread of the concept behind DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE?, the first album from the Buckinghamshire quartet since signing to Century Media Records.

Set free from who? What? The rigor of that question is what characterizes the fluidity of As Everything Unfolds' third full-length, which grapples with the tightrope between a dream state and reality. Should you walk the tightrope and risk leaving your safe haven of fantasy? Whatever the choice – conscious or  otherwise – will you find 'freedom' at the end of the road? That never-ending labyrinth of questions is what shapes the crux of the record.

Tragedy hit camp As Everything Unfolds in August 2024 when drummer Jamie Gowers, who was also Charlie's boyfriend, passed away. Midway through writing this album, the quartet banded together to re-ignite the flames of As Everything Unfolds.

"It’s going to be shit and it's going to be horrible, but running away from it felt like the wrong thing to do," recalls Charlie. "This is the hardest record we will ever have to do — how can we flip it into something we're proud of, and give it the longevity and legacy it deserves?'"

Taking two years to give writing and pre-production the TLC it deserved, the album was recorded across three weeks in February 2025.

Despite initially feeling like a record of two halves, Charlie was never going to settle for anything other than a unified concept. It was when an old university mate recommended a book called The Creative Act by Rick Rubin that inspired the eureka moment for this record.

Ultimately, DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE? is an alternate lens through which Charlie examines reality, and the never-ending dichotomy between hiding and confronting it. As someone who experienced a lot of maladaptive daydreaming during the early days of her trauma, the tool and throughline was there for Charlie to tell her story.

After a turbulent few years, there is a creative depth to DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE? that ensures it’s their strongest album to date.

"It’s told its story, and I don’t feel like I need to take it any further," she boldly declares. "It’s a capsule of that moment, of the things that happened to me, and I’m now in a new part of my life. That’s why drawing the line under it is important."

With punishing unconventional vocals, Asher creates depictions of bodily and psychological horror through lyricism centered around mental health awareness. The rest of the band reflects these themes musically through brutal riffs, tight drum grooves, and a gut-wrenching low end. In 2023, the band released its debut EP Lust in the End, which Idioteq described as "a surreal journey…delving into the darkest corners of the human experience."

Nailed Shut MA have performed in many iconic venues across the northeast as well as 2024 Inkcarceration Festival. Bands they have shared the stage with include All Shall Perish, Peeling Flesh, Power Trip, Kaonashi, End It, Gatecreeper, and many more. Evergrey Announce New Album "Architects Of A New Weave" + Share Animated Video For "Architects Of The New Weave"

Shortly after announcing their fifteenth (!!!) studio album, Architects Of A New Weave, set for release on June 5, 2026 via Napalm Records, EVERGREY unveil their new single and manifest of beautiful darkness, "Architects Of The New Weave", alongside a visually-striking animated video. Once again, Gothenburg’s finest export proves its unmatched ability to craft timeless melodies, powerful riffs, and gripping lyrics,  while continuing to surprise their devoted fans with an innovative approach, even after more than 30 years of existence.

EVERGREY ’s new full-length, Architects Of A New Weave, will be released just days before the band takes the stage as special guest to the undisputed kings of heavy metal, Iron Maiden, for two shows on their "Run For Your Lives" World Tour. This is the wake-up call you didn’t know you needed: A plunge into thinning air, burning worlds, and lingering guilt—only to break free with fierce momentum. The album refuses to wallow. It ascends—fast, heavy, and cinematic. But it refuses to hide in the dark. It rises: Quick, fierce, and utterly transformative.

Tom Englund about the new single "Architects Of The New Weave":
"'Architects Of The New Weave' – It’s a blistering first single from our 15th studio album, Architects Of A New Weave, (or the second ferocious strike if you're counting our standalone powerhouse "OXYGEN!" as its own beast)! I am not afraid to claim this is a no-brainer, sing-along friendly, straight-up great metal song! It came ignited from Rikard Zander's killer keyboard riff, which we hammered into a short, but massive headbanger! When crafting that chorus keyboard line, 'Rainbow In The Dark' was blasting in my head – pure epic inspiration, giving it that timeless, fist-pumping edge. There are dual guitar solos, trading fire in classic old-school style, melodic and memorable. We can't wait to let this rip live! I'm torn on music videos sometimes – I adore them as an art form, but too often the visuals steal focus from the music itself."

Watch the animation video for "Architects Of The New Weave" Below:

Tom Englund about the animation video:
"We went bold: a stunning, immersive introduction to Mattias Norén's absolute magnum opus of album artwork. Every tiny, intricate detail comes alive on screen, with the track thundering as the perfect dark soundtrack.
- It's hypnotic, lets the art breathe, and pulls you deeper into our world -
We could've chosen any track from the album as the lead, but this one's the perfect explosive opener to our new era of beautiful darkness. I've never been more fired up. Crank it loud, join the weave, and let's build something unstoppable together."

Pre-Order Architects Of A New Weave  NOW!

Dive into Architects Of A New Weave’s standout tracks like "The World is on Fire", "Leaving The Emptiness", "Heaven", and "The Prophecy", and the breathtaking title anthem "Architects Of The New Weave". Their choruses break through like sunlight piercing storm clouds: enormous, cinematic melodies that pull you upward, riffs with genuine weight and bite, and vocals dripping with raw, unflinching truth. In one breath, you’re shouldering buried longing; in the next, you’re weightless, fearless, endless. Scars transform into badges of survival, fractures fuel reinvention. In the second half of the album, fellow Gothenburg icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline) joins Tom S. Englund in vocal duties for "A Burning Flame", the voices of the two scene legends intertwined compellingly. Architects Of A New Weave was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, with a stellar mix by Adam "Nolly" Getgood.

Among other exclusive formats, Architects Of A New Weave comes with a bonus album, containing bonus tracks "Heights" and "One Heart", as well as an album mix of the previously released standalone single "OXYGEN!" (2025). Additionally, it features a demo version of "Longing", instrumental tracks of
"Leaving The Emptiness", both new songs, as well as a live version of "Falling From The Sun", the hit single off the previous record, Theories of Emptiness (2024) and continuation of “Ominous” off of A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament) (2022).

alt. Come Out Swinging With "Sucker Punch" Single + Video

Exploding into view in 2026, Adelaide rockers alt. come out swinging with a swaggering new single "Sucker Punch," out now via Resist Records in Australia and SharpTone Records for the rest of the world.

With razor-sharp bounce, cleaving riffs, and palpitating oscillations between swooning melodies and snarl, "Sucker Punch" also harbours a powerful lyrical spine, heightened by its accompanying music video.

"This song is our final stand," the band shares. "A fight back against an oppressive force that has lied, cheated, and taken everything we hold dear. 'Sucker Punch' captures that breaking point, when you’ve had enough of the lies and the control. It's about fighting back, standing together, and being ready for the battle ahead. This time, we're prepared.”

First emerging onto the scene in 2019, alt. unveiled their debut EP dysfunctional in 2020 before releasing their debut full-length Abeyance in 2023. Weaving a dark spell early on via their blend of punk, pop, electronica and alternative rock, alt.'s modern sonic nostalgia instantly turned heads and ears, leading to the group generating millions of streams, touring with the likes of Northlane, Sleep Token, Plini, Karnivool and Cog, and working with some of the biggest names in the heavy scene on their own releases, spanning Northlane's Marcus Bridge through to Landon Tewers from The Plot In You, Zach Britt from Dream On, Dreamer and more.

With a towering reputation in a live setting along with their compelling back catalogue, 2026 now finds alt. stepping into new sonic waters with the arrival of "Sucker Punch". Retaining the infectious confidence of of their earlier works, alt. channel their sonic DNA into an exhilarating anthem that could simultaneously soundtrack a blockbuster battle while inciting a heaving mosh pit. Heads will roll.
