DISSENTIENCE Unveil Monstrous Video For "Kaiju", Taken From The New EP Kaiju

Inspired by classic Japanese monster films and Lovecraftian mythology, DISSENTIENCE are left to fend for themselves and escape a destructive, nameless beast in their latest release "Kaiju". Based out of Bethlehem, PA, the progressive death-thrash unit unleash a devastatingly brutal onslaught accompanied with their humorous take on a B-movie video style, available BELOW.  

"While we take the music side of DISSENTIENCE very seriously, the 'Kaiju' video was a great excuse to have some fun with the whole concept." The band shares. "The last thing the world needs is another 'band in a warehouse' or 'live on stage' music video, so we wanted to do things a little differently. Keeping the monster off-screen, we leaned into the B-Movie aspect of our inspiration as it seemingly picks us off one by one. Running around on a freezing day in northeast PA was absolutely brutal, but Sarah from Novro Studios absolutely nailed the edit and made all the frostbite worth it!"

"Kaiju" is the title track and narrative climax of their newly released four-track concept EP. The song's lyrics describe grotesque scenes of bloodshed and helplessness as the unseen terror rips through the last remnants of resistance. Sonically, brutal gutturals, riffs and rhythmic fury build with intensity throughout as the sense of urgency and impending doom escalates.

Kaiju was produced by the band alongside Corey Pierce, the record was engineered by Matt Menafro at Peach Pie Sound, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The music video for "Kaiju" was shot and edited by Sarah Novroski & Novro Studios. The full EP is released independently and available on digital and CD formats.

Formed in 2013 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, DISSENTIENCE is a progressive death-thrash metal band that combines the technical precision of death metal with the relentless energy of thrash. COUNTRY ROCK POWERHOUSE KASEY TYNDALL TEAMS UP WITH PLATINUM-SELLING ROCK BAND POP EVIL FOR NEW SINGLE, “MAYBE YOU’RE THE ONE”:

Country-rock standout Kasey Tyndall joins forces with platinum-selling rock band Pop Evil for the powerful new single, “Maybe You’re The One.” The track delivers a soaring call-and-response rock ballad driven by grit, emotion, and arena-ready energy.

Pop Evil’s Leigh Kakaty had most of the song written, but wanted to partner with a female country artist who shared the song's vision. With Pop Evil and Tyndall already labelmates, the partnership came together naturally. The artists met in Nashville last fall to record the track with producer Derek Wells (known for work with HARDY, Jordan Davis, Maddie & Tae, and Post Malone).

Tyndall says, “As I established on my last record, rock music has always been a big influence on my sound.  I knew I wanted to embrace it even more by expanding my audience to that genre.  When someone suggested a collaboration with Pop Evil, it was a no-brainer -  their music is so authentic. When I met Leigh, he was so passionate about the song that the recording process was a breeze, as he incorporated both our sounds. I’m excited to introduce myself to Pop Evil’s fans and the rock world in general. I cannot wait to see what happens next.”

PAUL CAUTHEN SHARES UNFILTERED DUET “CHAIN SMOKING” (FEAT. DELANEY RAMSDELL) AHEAD OF ALBUM RELEASE

With his authoritative fifth album Book of Paul just one month away, country iconoclast Paul Cauthen gives fans a taste of its unfiltered artistry on “Chain Smoking” (featuring Delaney Ramsdell) – a slow-burning duet so vivid, it should come with a Surgeon General’s warning. Co-written by Cauthen with Beau Bedford and Jason Burt, “Chain Smoking” (featuring Delaney Ramsdell) arrives as an aching barstool ballad, with the sharp pain of a breakup hanging heavy in the air. 
 
Pairing the Texas native’s Big Velvet vocal with smoky roots-country counterpoint, finger-picked acoustic guitar and weary steel swirl in a dive-bar haze of romantic devastation. As a striking look at the emotional fire powering Cauthen’s next chapter, the track soon rises into bellowing soundtrack to full-flavor sorrow, where more pain is the one-and-only cure.
 
“Ain’t it funny how two things go together … Like chain smoking with a broken heart,” goes the track.
 
With his booming baritone with a near-biblical swagger, Cauthen’s Book of Paul is set to arrive on April 3. Classic-country grit and gospel power fuse with a rhinestoned rock-and-roll edge, as the fiercely independent singer-songwriter known as “Big Velvet” returns to his East Texas roots. 
 
Capturing his unruly essence with all the charm of a rattlesnake (and the vocal venom to match), gritty, swampy, East Texas country comes alive under Cauthen’s singular artistic vision, as a true-to-him battle between darkness and light unfolds. INFERI Unleashes Music Video for Brutal Title Track from Upcoming Album, 'Heaven Wept'

Extreme death metal masters INFERI are now unleashing a brand new music video for the brutal title track of their upcoming new full-length, 'Heaven Wept,' which is due on April 10, 2026 via The Artisan Era! The clip features a montage of the band's live performances and candid behind-the-scenes footage, which were taken at various shows during INFERI's last few tours. INFERI comments, "It brings us great pleasure to present the title track of our upcoming album, 'Heaven Wept.' This was actually the first song we finished for the album, and it's crushing yet groovy atmosphere solidified the bedrock of theological horror we sought to build upon. Its also the first unreleased track we've ever played live. The video itself was filmed over three tours we did while writing and recording the album. It features some of our favorite venues from across the North American and Europe and encapsulates the vibe we strive to cultivate during our live shows."

APOSTLE Announce New Album A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, Release Crushing New Single "Swine"

ATLANTA, GA metal trio APOSTLE have announced their forthcoming full-length album A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, set for release June 5, 2026 via Terminus Hate City. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s first single, "Swine", accompanied by a visualizer.

Formed in 2017, APOSTLE have built a reputation for blending the aggression of grindcore and chaotic hardcore with the atmosphere of post-black metal and the melodic weight of shoegaze and post-rock. Vancouver, BC progressive metal project SWANWRITER has announced the upcoming release of its second full-length album, melodies of despair, arriving independently on June 26. Alongside the announcement, the project unveils the album’s second single, "girl on the wall", offering an early look into the record’s darker emotional and narrative themes.

Created entirely by multi-instrumentalist Koda, melodies of despair continues the dark, cinematic direction introduced on SWANWRITER’s 2023 debut There is a darkness. The new album presents a collection of interconnected horror-inspired narratives shaped by themes of isolation, grief, betrayal, and psychological unease, delivered through expansive progressive metal compositions enriched with piano, acoustic instrumentation, and orchestral textures.

Serving as the first glimpse into the album’s world, "girl on the wall" captures one of its most emotionally immediate moments. Inspired by the cult horror game Ib, the track tells the story of a girl trapped inside a painting, observing life from beyond reach while growing increasingly consumed by jealousy and longing. Musically, the song balances melodic accessibility with progressive ambition, driven by classical guitar passages, shifting vocal dynamics, and layered bass arrangements that deepen its surreal atmosphere.

While maintaining the long-form songwriting approach that defines SWANWRITER, melodies of despair expands its sonic range with greater emphasis on acoustic elements and dynamic contrast. Across its six compositions, the album moves between fragile intimacy and overwhelming heaviness, unfolding as a complete listening experience intended to be heard from beginning to end.

  SWANWRITER is a dark progressive metal project based in Vancouver, British Columbia, created and performed entirely by the anonymous multi-instrumentalist known as Koda. Formed in 2023, the project emerged from a desire to merge progressive metal songwriting with classical composition, atmospheric storytelling, and emotionally driven arrangements.

Having studied classical piano from an early age before later discovering extreme metal, Koda developed SWANWRITER as a space to explore long-form composition without stylistic limitation. Directed by Chris Babalis of Chris’ Witchy Stuff, the “Bloody Demon” video captures the band’s heavy sound and dark philosophical themes through a raw visual approach. Featuring footage shot by Ryan Hilton, Jeff Burbridge, Dave Machado, and Chris Lazaar, the video serves as a visual companion to one of the album’s most personal tracks.

“Bloody Demon” explores themes of self-acceptance and rebellion against societal expectations, embracing personal flaws, controversial viewpoints, and the isolation that can come with rejecting conformity. Diabolic Formation is the debut full-length release from PALE HORSE RITUAL, officially formed in 2024 by lifelong musical collaborators Paco (bass and vocals) and Jonah Santa-Barbara (drums). The duo joined forces with CANNABUS frontman and lead guitarist James Matheson, forming a creative partnership rooted in heavy rock, doom influence, and direct emotional expression.

Named after the ivy plant Hedera helix, a species known for relentless expansion and endurance, the EP reflects themes of growth through pressure and renewal through destruction. Wage War Announce New EP Out 4/17 Announce Spring Tour + Drop Brutal "SONG OF THE SWAMP" Video

What populates the thick and humid swamps of Florida? Alligators, anacondas, and other cold-blooded animals that can eviscerate your existence with a single bite. Fittingly, Wage War's absolutely savage new track, "Song of the Swamp," sounds exactly like how you would feel if any or all of the above-mentioned predators sank their teeth into your flesh. Rife with bloodthirsty screams, deadly riffage, and pummeling percussion that'll make you feel like the speedbag at the local boxing gym, it rages from start to finish. You will be, as the lyrics snarl, "overpowered" by every note. And that's just how metal masochists like it!

SUNSWARM Announce Crushing New Single "Erasure" Ahead of Forthcoming Album

Southampton, UK industrial post-metal act SUNSWARM announce the release of their new single "Erasure."

"Erasure" is not structured as a traditional single. Across eight minutes, the track unfolds as a bleak and overwhelming piece of industrial post-metal, built from early 90s industrial sampling techniques, scorched guitar textures, and vocals shaped by black-metal intensity. Rhythms move like shifts in pressure rather than conventional song structures, creating an atmosphere of suffocation and psychological weight.

Emerging from UK South Coast underground scene, SUNSWARM draw influence from the brutal desolation of GODFLESH, the spiritual intensity of AMENRA, the sonic extremity of THE BODY, and the cosmic dread of ORANSSI PAZUZU. Their sound merges industrial noise, post-metal density, and extreme vocal expression into something immersive and deeply physical.

The band describe the track as the emotional entry point into the record: "This is the opening track from our forthcoming album. It’s not a song. It’s 8 minutes of bleak, overwhelming Industrial Post-Metal. No Light. This nihilism is not a political or philosophical position. It is waking in the middle of the night and feeling a void. The growing feeling of strangulation in this creeping dystopia that the power structures and their tech is dragging us and our children into.

When you strip back the substances and digital, what oxygen do we have left? Erasure. Erased."

With "Erasure", SUNSWARM present confrontation rather than escape, reflecting modern anxiety, technological alienation, and the erosion of identity within an increasingly mechanized world.

The single is a harbinger of a wider conceptual release, with further details on the forthcoming album to be announced soon.

Enter into the "The Temple of Vindication" for an atmospheric exploration of introspection. In this new single, ANTIMOZDEBEAST, through an enveloping sound driven by industrial electronics, textural white noise and dream-like spoken lyrics, contains a philosophical questioning of the human experience. 

ANTIMOZDEBEAST is the extreme industrial and electronic black metal project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Gabriel Palacio. "The Temple of Vindication" crawls through inner rebellion and spiritual interrogation, drawing lines between salvation, illusion, and the mind’s desperate attempts to interpret its suffering. This latest offering is taken from the upcoming full length album The Vagrant Unkempt Grave scheduled for release on May 15, 2026.

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.
  
Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary. 
  
These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.
 
Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense. 
  
A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before. 
  
This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.
