Miss May I Share Video for New Single "Die on the Vine"

Ohio metalcore favorites MISS MAY I are thrilled to share the first taste of new music for 2026. Today, they drop the video for new single "Die on the Vine," which is full of galloping guitars, plate-shifting breakdowns, and memorable melodies.

Watch the video below.

"'Die on the Vine' captures a mid-life reckoning — coming to terms with how deeply childhood experiences and unresolved trauma shape who we become," the band explains. "The song reflects the moment where denial stops working and self-awareness sets in. If those patterns are something you have to live with, the choice becomes whether to decay under their weight or grow stronger through them. 'Die on the Vine' leans into that tension, framing survival as adaptation: sharpening your thorns over time instead of letting the damage define you."

What wise words set to a metallic maelstrom!

MMI will appear at both Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio and Rock Fest in Wisconsin this coming July. More live shows will be announced in due course.

For now, though, it's time to "Die on the Vine."

Resistor Announce New Album "BITE THIS!" + Share "Dead Soul" Video

Long Island, NY quintet RESISTORAnthony Grambo [vocals], Anthony Conti [guitar], Ian Schneider [bass], Anthony Arce [turntables], and Peter Smith [drums] — channel the cocky bravado of O.G. nu-metal through a prism of 21st century hardcore spiked with DJ squeals and vitriolic spitting.

They announce their new album BITE THIS!, out March 27. Pre-order it here.

The band also dropped the video for "DEAD SOUL."

Watch it below.

"We feel 'DEAD SOUL' is the perfect introduction to this record," says Schneider. "This has been one of our favorite tracks, from its initial conception to final execution. The themes of Resistor's music have always boiled down to 'Fuck you' and 'DEAD SOUL' is no exception to that central meaning. We're so excited to finally be able to share this song with you all and hope it resonates as strongly with you as it has with us."

At the epicenter of extreme metal, hardcore, and nu metal, Resistor have patented their own pummeling sound—which they've appropriately christened "knuckle dragging wika wika core."

They don't just flirt with breaking genre boundaries; they proudly fuck everything up in their path.

Resistor drop grooves heavy enough that prolonged listening could either stunt your growth or split the ground beneath your feet. Either way, you'll undoubtedly want more from the group, which harnesses a burst of concentrated energy from the respective shockwaves of their five distinct personalities and musical identities.

Additionally, Resistor are touring with Yosemite In Black. All dates are below.

"Collaboration makes Resistor what it is," states Schneider. "Every member's hand is on the music. As a listener, you're getting these distinct sets of influences and voices all coming together. Our vision is to maintain the heaviness and the catchiness, so it's ignorant and genuine. Other than a few impacts and bass drops, everything was created by a live instrument. We pulled inspiration from the past, but it’s definitely modern and authentic."

Speaking of authentic, the band originated out of a friendship forged between Conti and Grambo. They first crossed paths at a skate park, began hanging out all of the time, and eventually decided to write songs. The lineup solidified with the addition of Smith, Schneider, and Arce. They shored up their signature style with the So It Begins EP [2023] and HEADCASE EP [2025], tallying millions of streams in the process. On the road, the group notably packed houses and emerged as an outlier with enough gusto to set it off everywhere from Gathering of the Juggalos to the Inkcarceration pre-show. Throughout 2025, they pieced together BITE THIS! with producer Randy LeBoeuf [Kublai Khan TX, The Acacia Strain, Gideon].

Ultimately, Resistor live outside the neutral zone.

Orbit Culture Release Live Video For "The Storm" + North American Tour Starts 2/18

Right before embarking on their next quest — an extensive tour throughout USA and Canada with support coming from Ov Sulfur and Atlas — ORBIT CULTURE are releasing a live video for the fan-favorite "The Storm," which was filmed by Riivata Visuals and Grimvisions during their highly successful European tour last winter.

Watch the video below.

The band comments, "This video for 'The Storm' documents our last headline tour. Most of the footage was shot in Gothenburg, close to where we come from. Watching it now brings us back to a night that carried real weight — intense, focused, and honest. It was a defining moment for us, and 'The Storm'
reflects that feeling without needing to explain it."

It marks another video for their acclaimed album Death Above Life that was released to overwhelmingly positive feedback by fans and media in October of last year.

"The album represents change, a new beginning," says guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. "It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth."

Catch them on the upcoming dates, posted below.

Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden (located between the revered metal cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm), the quartet (guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt) have grown into a global force, melding together riffs that are equal parts thrash, death metal and industrial with arresting hooks and a layered atmosphere that invites comparison to Gojira, Metallica and Static-X while carving out something that is uniquely their own. Orbit Culture are a band poised. They are the sound of metal in the most modern sense.

War On Women Release Announce New Album "Time Under Tension" + Release New Single "Messages Unsent"

NEW ALBUM "TIME UNDER TENSION" OUT ON MAY 8, 2026

Smartpunk Records and War On Women are teaming up for a big year of new music that's as timely as ever. The band's fifth full-length album, "Time Under Tension," comes out on May 8, 2026. While the upcoming record fulfills fans' cravings for thoughtful lyrics and powerful punk energy rooted in advocacy, the band also experiments with melodic genre elements from alt-rock, indie, and more. This expansion and evolution are captured clearly in their latest single, "Messages Unsent" - Listen below;

Shawna Potter, vocalist of War On Women, elaborated further on the heartfelt meaning behind the track, "This is the first love song I’ve written in a long time, certainly the first in this band. It’s about the idea that once you really have something to lose, a partner or a life you love (or in this case, my dog Rosie), then you start to care more about your own safety, about sticking around. You start thinking about your mortality, and theirs, and it’s terrifying. But even if we don’t get forever, I like the idea that love can live on.

We wanted to create a video as bittersweet and nostalgic as the song itself so we opted to revisit the first tour we did post-2020, when we weren't sure if we'd ever get to play live music again. The joy of gathering against such a tragic backdrop mimics the songs themes of love and loss."

War On Women's band name is the band’s ethos straight from the get. From the critically acclaimed recordWonderful Hell to performances at Download Fest Australia, Riot Fest, Warped Tour, a D.O.A song on a new tribute record, tours alongside legendary acts such as Alkaline Trio, Bad Religion, Jawbreaker, and more – it's War On Women's lives outside the band that fuses their music with such passion. Vocalist Shawna Potter is an author, advocate, and Intimacy Coordinator; guitarist Brooks Harlandesigns and fabricates guitar amps; bassist Sue Werner is a senior programming analyst at the Johns Hopkins Institute for data intensive engineering and science; and guitarist Jenarchy is a Rock Camp Director.

FORGOTTEN SHRINE Release Haunting Version Of BREAKING BENJAMIN's "Crawl"

Emerging out from the shadows, folk metal ensemble FORGOTTEN SHRINE, comprised of Josh Alexander and Sofia Frasz (EXILED HOPE), present an explosive and thrilling cover of BREAKING BENJAMIN's "Crawl".

Josh Alexander shares: "BREAKING BENJAMIN brings me back to a much simpler time of Halo LAN parties and hard rock, which we now call 'dad rock'. When Sofia approached me with the idea I was very excited because this song has almost no covers to be found online. And being that we are FORGOTTEN SHRINE, we had to put our own spin on things as far as the arrangement, both vocally and musically, evoking an almost horror vibe. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks!"

Sofia Frasz comments: "BREAKING BENJAMIN was the soundtrack to my middle school and high school years, and remains one of my favorite bands to this day. A few months ago, I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to cover a song that no one else seemed to pay much attention to. I had a specific idea for a cinematic cover of 'Crawl' in my head, and it turned out so beautifully that we couldn't wait to release it. I'm my own worst critic and almost never listen to my own music, but I've had this one on repeat on and off since we finished it back in November. I'm proud to have put such a special new twist on what I consider to be an underrated classic."

FORGOTTEN SHRINE create an eerie atmosphere in "Crawl" from the off with ethereal traditional instruments and haunting choir voices building into the heavy riffs. Enchanting folk parts, along with both Frasz and Alexander's clean vocals, are powerfully juxtaposed with heavy distortion and their fierce harsh. It's an enchanting and charismatic take on a noughties fan favorite.

Stream "Crawl" here: https://youtu.be/mXHdzDese5I?si=CtZG5W8qkQrJUPg5

FORGOTTEN SHRINE is:
Josh Alexander (Pennsylvania, USA) - Guitar, Bass, Hurdy Gurdy, Irish Bouzouki, Additional Instruments, Backing Vocals, Composition.
Sofia Frasz (Maryland, USA) - Lead Vocals, Guitar, Lyrics, Composition.

Scottish 80s trailblazers FINI TRIBE share 'Me & My Shadow', highlighting their latest anthology

Scotland's iconic 1980s music mavericks Fini Tribe present "Me and My Shadow", the latest offering from their loaded anthology "The Sheer Action of Fini Tribe: 1982-1987", released via Shipwrecked Industries. Crackling with the sound of ideas arriving faster than they can be contained, this track emits youthful ingenuity and unorthodox tools, surging forward with hypnotic force.

The band members themselves barely out of their school uniforms, "Me and My Shadow" captures Fini Tribe at the instant their raw curiosity became something lean, propulsive, and unmistakably their own. A cool, searching vocal circles themes of selfhood while guitars slice with cinematic precision, locked to a driving, machine-like momentum that never lets up. Swirls of off-kilter electronics blur the edges, and the opening seconds—where the tape itself seems to wake up—drop the listener straight into motion.

Fini Tribe emerged in 1980 in post-punk Edinburgh, soon becoming a six-piece with Chris Connelly, Simon McGlynn, Andy McGregor, Davie Miller, Philip Pinskyand John Vick. Curated and designed by the band, this retrospective features archival photographs, essays by longtime friend Shirley Manson (Garbage, Angelfish, Goodbye Mr. MacKenzie), renowned author Alastair McKay, and original band member Andy McGregor, who also designed the album artwork.

Including the first legendary John Peel Session, produced by Dale Griffin and originally broadcast in May 1985, this colossal collection was previewed by the razor-edged singles “I Want More” and "We're Interested". The original 12” singles (including "Detestimony") and the WaxTrax! singles are also here, along with several unreleased live tracks - remastered and produced by the band's members.

"Me and My Shadow' was taken from our second studio session in spring of 1982. We were all still in secondary school in Edinburgh. In fact, the lyrics were written during a library period in lieu of French studies or some tedious Thomas Hardy novel. This would be the first session with Davie Miller, who had previously been in the formidable band Explode Your Heart," says Chris Connelly.

"The song addresses identity. Written by a 16-year-old, the lyrics float above a meticulous almost-spy-thriller guitar melody, which anchors the song to a fast-paced mechanical rhythm. At the time, we were swimming around in Can and French Noir, like every schoolboy should".

The tracks on "The Sheer Action of Fini Tribe" were recorded in Edinburgh at Wilf's Planet, Pier House, Niddry Street Rehearsal Rooms, Pleasance Theatre, and Calton Studios, and in London at Southern Studios and at BBC Studios, Maida Vale. Influenced by Throbbing Gristle, Wire, Can, Captain Beefheart, they also drew from modern film, writing, and the art that was abundant in the festival city.

"For me, "Me and My Shadow"s may be the definitive 80s Fini Tribe recording: Chris words, John's trippy keyboards, and the prescient motorik metal rhythm (played on a chrome clothes rail, as I recall)," says Andy McGregor.

“I'd say it's also probably the best recorded example of me 'at one' with my RAPIER 44, a red sharkfin plectrum, and a matching kitchen stool. I used to sit down to play most of the time, and I can see why. I don't know if it was a mistake, but there's something in the way that the recording starts with the reel to reel getting "to speed" -- that is the perfect start to a song that feels like the audio equivalent to a fever-dream motorway timelapse."

Fini Tribe's debut eponymous EP, released on their FINIFLEX label, led to the John Peel Session. The band quickly morphed into a formidable experimental dance unit, cemented by the arrival of sampling. Now a well-oiled frantic machine, they eventually performed in London, Glasgow and Aberdeen, their sound became more unique. Their 1986 “Let The Tribe Grow” EP, with the anthemic, church-bell driven “Detestimony”became a lasting and iconic statement of intent. Fini Tribe heralded a new sound and new hypervisual approach, more akin to performance art than rock ‘n roll.

In 1987, WaxTrax! Records released Fini Tribe's high-octane cover of Can's “I Want More”, introducing the band to American dance floors. After one more WaxTrax! single – a reworking of “Detestimony” – and a few more events (including a night at Glasgow's Third Eye Centre that ended in flames), that was the end for this incarnation of Fini Tribe. The band then lost a few members, including Chris Connelly, who moved to Chicago and joined The Revolting Cocks (and later Ministry).

"The Sheer Action of Fini Tribe" is out digitally everywhere, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. It is also available as a three-CD digipak with 24-page booklet and limited-edition vinyl LP in a gatefold sleeve with insert.

MELECHESH Unleashes New Single "Raptors of Anzu"

Ancient storms gather once more as MELECHESH unveils their new single, "Raptors of Anzu," accompanied by a striking lyric video that channels mythic devastation and divine revelation. The track is the first offering from the band’s forthcoming digital EP, Sentinels of Shamash, set for release on April 10th via new label home Reigning Phoenix Music.

"Raptors of Anzu" descends into a forgotten age, a time when the Ancient Ones ruled beneath darkened suns and the sea was still land. From Eridu, city of kingship and divine law, the will of Anu is unleashed through storm and destruction. The raptors emerge as agents of fate, enslaving the lost and tearing through failing orders as destiny unfolds beyond mortal control. Rage burns without mercy as empires fall, logic collapses, and ancient mechanisms of the soul are set into motion.

What begins as an Anunnian tale becomes a violent revelation. Death fades, knowledge is unveiled, and cosmic order is shattered only to be restored through fire and ruin. With commanding riffs, ritualistic rhythms, and incantatory vocals, MELECHESH conjures a soundscape as apocalyptic as the myth it embodies.

Regarding the signing, the band shares: "We’re proud to have signed with Reigning Phoenix Music, a label run by true fans who deliver professionalism and a personal touch. After some delays which were not in our hands and we have overcome, we’re ready to present our new EP Sentinels of Shamash, unrelenting, diverse, and true to the MELECHESH spirit. We know about all the anticipation and patience you all displayed so we only deliver the best for you.

Now the focus is to play live everywhere and bring the new songs to the stage, while continuing writing and reworking new material for the next without limiting creativity."

"It is an honor to be able to be part of the next chapter of Melechesh,"
says Reigning Phoenix Music co-founder Gerardo Martinez. "They are a band that continues to push boundaries and maintaining that rich artistic aspect that makes them so unique."

Sentinels of Shamash, stands as a ceremonial descent into ancient law, fire, and cosmic vigilance. Drawing from Mesopotamian myth and the solar judgment of Shamash, god of truth and justice, MELECHESH crafts an offering steeped in divine wrath and esoteric order. Each composition unfolds like a sacred inscription, invoking forgotten gods, fallen kings, and the eternal tension between chaos and balance.

Through commanding riffs, relentless rhythms, and a sonic architecture that bridges ancient cosmology with modern extremity, Sentinels of Shamash delivers a mythological statement rooted in fire, judgment, ruin, and restoration. The sentinels stand eternal guard over fate itself.

Mawiza Summon the Storm with New Video for “Ngulutu”

After taking the world by storm last year with their new album ÜL, Mawiza are beating the drum for indigenous metal even louder in 2026. The modern day Mapuche warriors paid a visit to Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier’s Silver Chord Studio and performed to a packed house in Santiago before taking the stage alongside Mr. Bungle and Avenged Sevenfold.

Today, Mawiza are releasing a new video for the most fierce and combative song off ÜL. While at one with the forces of groove metal, “Ngulutu” (The Western Storm) declares war on encroaching urban decay.

“In Mapuzugun, 'Ngulutu’ comes from Ngulu, which means West”, Mawiza’s vocalist and guitarist Awka says. “The song refers to an abysmal storm born in the turbulent Pacific Ocean that reaches the land in the form of bursting, shattered clouds. It’s a declaration of war on the so-called progress of large cities, merging ourselves as a single entity with nature”.

Watch the video for “Ngulutu” below.

ÜL is available now on  Season of Mist.

Mawiza wrote “Ngulutu” six years ago in response to a social uprising in Chile, but the source material that inspired the latest single from ÜL dates as far back as the 16th century. “Both historical records and our oral tradition remember the ancient Mapuche war toki Michimolongko, who, together with his kona and weychafe, managed to destroy  Santiago in 1541”, Awka recalls. “This song is a tribute to those ancient warriors and to the power of the natural territory that lies beneath the city”.

While the torrential groove of “Ngulutu” is bound to churn the pit when Mawiza storm the stage at Midgardsblot this summer, the band draws its strength from their ancestral land. The song’s chorus calls on the spirits of the Mapocho and Maipo Rivers with surging, shark-like riffs and drums that beat with the unrelenting force of a tidal wave. “Müley taiñ amuleal / Fewla, fey llemay (We must keep moving forward / Now it shall be done!)”, Awka chants, summoning a breakdown that brings the most towering cities crumbling into ruin.

“The two rivers named in the chorus of ‘Ngulutu’ are both vital for life in the territory and even for the lives of city dwellers”, Awka explains. “Yet when it rains enough, the rivers overflow, causing the collapse of the urban order. It reminds us that nature is an active entity that cannot be tamed, one that sets the path we must follow as Mapuche people”.

The video for “Ngulutu” was directed by Andrés Hetzler.

ÜL pays tribute to nature and Mawiza’s ancestors. "Ngulutu" recalls ancient battles between the Mapuche and the Spanish in Santiago, Chile. "Mamüll Reke", "Wenu Weychan", "Lhan Antü", and "Kalli Lhayay" are filled with rhythms and sounds reminiscent of the most hermetic rituals of the Mapuche people. They were used by shamans to induce trance and heal the sick, to communicate with and greet the spirits of the mountains.

Closing song "Ti Inan Paw-pawkan" features chants from members of Mawiza’s indigenous community, as well as Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier. It is here, during the album’s finale, that the band stake their claim as both indigenous and urban. The song acknowledges the mission entrusted to Mawiza by Mapuche authorities and by the land itself: to raise awareness about balance on Earth in an empowered way and to call for greater attentiveness to Mapuche territory. Otherwise, the consequences will be dire.

Guilt Trip Drop 3-Track "God Forgives" EP Today + Share Video for "Dirt" + "Angel Eyes"

Manchester, UK-based five-piece GUILT TRIP  Jay Valentine [vocals], Jak Maden [guitar], Sam Baker [guitar], Tom Aimson [drums], and Lily Kilcoyne[bass] — are one of the most exciting and fast-rising bands in heavy music. They have surprise-dropped the three-song EP, God Forgives, today, February 11. Listen and get it here.

It includes two new tracks — "Dirt" (which premiered on Daniel P Carter's Radio 1 Rock show on February 9) and "Angel Eyes" (which premiered via SiriusXM Liquid Metal on February 10) — as well as a new mix of the previously released "Burn."

The band also shared a music video event presented in two parts featuring "Dirt" and "Angel Eyes," which can be viewed below. It's quite a one-two knockout punch.

"God Forgives is a culmination of progress and the embodiment of Guilt Trip's identity, whilst consciously trying to build on the style and songwriting onSeverance we are yet embracing and moving with the sound we achieved on that record," says Valentine. "The songs were written with one thing in mind: 'Make it better' and we hope we have hit the mark for every Guilt Trip fan out there."

Regarding the accompanying video, he says, "It was birthed by a mix of transitioning lyrical themes into visuals and original ideas that we felt best represented the subject matter metaphorically. We wanted to show something other than just a live performance — a story that could entertain while relating to the music and still convey a message but be open enough for the watcher to make their own interpretations."

The EP highlights the band's gritty and groove-laden metallic hardcore style — and is just a taste of what's to come for the band's forthcoming full-length.

Guilt Trip, who announced their signing to Roadrunner Records last year, will also embark on a co-headline U.S. tour with Malevolence that runs through April. All dates are below. Get tickets here

ABOUT GUILT TRIP:
Historically, Manchester, UK breeds a certain toughness. As a pillar of the 19th century Industrial Revolution in Northern England, factories and warehouses line much of the city's rain-baptized topography. A hardworking lot who shoot straight without apology, its denizens traditionally take an incredible amount of pride in where they come from. Embodying the grit and gusto of Manchester, Guilt Trip bring a blast of homegrown intensity to their hybrid of hardcore and metal. The five piece slides striking melodies in between throat-slitting thrashy riffs and earth-splitting breakdowns.

Amassing tens of millions of streams and playing to packed crowds, they’re primed to amplify this hometown energy and pride on a global scale with a series of 2025 singles and their forthcoming debut LP for Roadrunner Records. More information about the new album will be released in due course.

Guilt Trip started to forge a seething signature style without comparison back in 2015. Jay and Jak cemented a lifelong bond as best friends at four-years-old when they met at reception in school. Over the years, the duo introduced one another to various favorite bands. Eventually, they welcomed fellow Manchester scene friends Tom, Sam, and Lily to the fold. To get to this point, the collective grinded the old-fashioned way one gig at a time, bulldozing their way out of sweaty basements and onto cramped club stages. They dropped the Unrelenting Force EP during 2016 followed by their 2019 full-length debut, River of Lies. The latter spawned "Thin Ice," which reeled in 7.1 million Spotify streams and counting. 2023's Severance marked a turning point. It boasted popular collaborations with LANDMVRKS and Malevolence, while KERRANG! hailed their "unique brand of hardcore that sees them delve into elements of thrash, old-school hardcore and fist-pumping metal." Beyond sharing the stage with everyone from Sylosis to While She Sleeps, they lit up festivals, including Download, Hellfest, and more. Attracting Roadrunner Records to their corner, the musicians decamped to StudioOWZ in Clarbeston, Wales with producer and engineer Adam "Nolly" Getgood [Periphery] during early 2025.

Bobby Jensen and The Dead Cowboys Release the Animated Music Video for The Lake.

The Dead Cowboys want to let everyone know that because of confusion over the band name they are now known as Bobby Jensen and The Dead Cowboys. To celebrate the slight name change Bobby is releasing The Lake the first in a series of four music videos taken from the debut album. The video was done by Andy Pilkington who did the Judas Priest Painkiller video.

Watch the video The Lake below:

Stream the album Dead Cowboys: https://smarturl.it/Deadcowboys

Bobby Jensen shares his reasoning for the name change, “The name change came about because over the course of the 20 years since I trademarked the name, Dead Cowboys, other groups around the country had started to use the name so there was confusion with talent, buyers, and fans when they would Google the name and be brought to somebody else’s page. I could have chased them all down and given them cease and desist orders but I kind of had a moment of clarity and felt like the name and the idea and concept had run its course and honestly wasn’t working out to be what I intended it to be again.

It was a great thing that we did as a band years ago, but even when recreating it, it wasn’t the same. More importantly, my own name had grown to be much bigger with tens of thousands of followers already following me as Bobby Jensen, especially since the world knows me from the viral hair fire video as Paul Stanley of KISS so I decided to use my own name and title the album “Dead Cowboys”. Now the legend can live on in the songs and I can create the stories with a lot more freedom and not get the band stereotyped into one thing.”

Talking about the new music video, Bobby adds, “The Lake came about when my friend Mike stopped over and was running some ideas of his own that he had come up with and I honestly don’t remember anything about what he came up with except for the first line of the song was “He sees dead cowboys wait in the night looking to rob a train”, and “boom goes to the dynamite”. Those two things stuck in my head for a while, and I thought it would be cool to have a song about a train robbery so while noodling on my guitar, I came up with the music and the lyrics. Not really knowing what to call the song. I decided to call it “The Lake” since that’s where everybody dies.

The video was done by Andy Pilkington who did the Judas Priest Painkiller video. He has worked with Saxon, Dee Snider, Motorhead and more. He did the first two videos for “bad friends and good times“ and “super country cowboy”. While we were discussing other songs and ideas, I mentioned to him that some of these stories could actually fit together as continuations of the video so he really liked the idea and we took four songs to become the saga of the demon desperado. It will be a four part video that may be a continuation with other songs in the future. That’s where the freedom of the creativity to write songs about the demon desperado and the dead cowboys I had mentioned earlier. Maybe someone would make them into movies someday.”

LOST SOCIETY Unleash Ravishing New Single & Video "Is This What You Wanted"

Finnish metal force LOST SOCIETY give fans another powerful taste of their upcoming album Hell Is A State Of Mind, set for release on March 6th via Nuclear Blast Records, with the brand-new single 'Is This What You Wanted.'
An emotional and thrilling anthem, the track opens with a grand, cinematic intro driven by strings and acoustic guitars before exploding into a storm of raw, screamed-out emotion. Vocalist Samy Elbanna delivers a visceral performance that cuts deep under the skin, capturing both vulnerability and rage in equal measure. Accompanied by an intense music video, 'Is This What You Wanted' visually underlines the song’s anthemic core and emotional weight, further setting the tone for what promises to be LOST SOCIETY’s most compelling release to date.

Frontman Samy Elbanna comments on the song: "This song comes from the feeling when you’ve worked tirelessly for years on your dream to come true and come to life, and you have these sudden realisations of how many important moments you’ve missed and how big the sacrifices have been that you’ve made along the way. A truly bittersweet feeling, because in the end of the day - they’ve been necessary to ensure your focus on your dreams. Nonetheless, it hurts.
This comes from the heart and we hope it speaks to you and makes you remember that your loved ones would always have hoped for you to go after your dreams.”

IATT Announce New Single "Drift Away" From Forthcoming Album Etheric Realms of the Night

Philadelphia progressive extreme metal visionaries IATT unveil "Drift Away", the first single from their upcoming full length album Etheric Realms of the Night, out May 8, 2026 on Black Lion Records. Accompanied by a cinematic music video, the track serves as the opening chapter of the album’s overarching narrative and its companion film, guiding listeners into the shifting terrain between waking consciousness and the dream world.

"Drift Away" begins in an unexpected place of calm. Gentle acoustic guitar and expressive flute lines create a sense of weightlessness, capturing the moment when the body relaxes and the mind begins to slip beyond the physical world. This atmosphere gradually expands into a vast and immersive soundscape, where layered instrumentation and evolving dynamics mirror the sensation of drifting deeper into sleep.

As the song unfolds, subtle melodic motifs and ambient textures establish the emotional and thematic foundation for the album. The track introduces the core idea behind Etheric Realms of the Night, the exploration of dream states as both refuge and unknown territory. The arrangement moves with deliberate patience, allowing tension and beauty to coexist as the music transitions from fragile serenity into something more powerful and uncertain.

"Drift Away" features guest appearances from Didier Malherbe of Gong on the flute and Ben Karas of Thank You Scientist/Slaughtersun) on violin

Lyrically and conceptually, "Drift Away" represents surrender. It captures the moment of letting go, when awareness softens and the boundary between internal and external reality begins to blur. The band uses this opening chapter to set the tone for the psychological descent that follows across the album’s seven movements and the unfolding narrative of the companion film.

The accompanying video offers the first visual entry point into that larger story. Dreamlike imagery and symbolic scenes mirror the song’s emotional arc, establishing themes that continue throughout the film as the line between reality and the dream realm becomes increasingly unstable.

With "Drift Away", IATT reveal a more atmospheric and emotionally nuanced side of their sound while maintaining the depth and ambition that define their work. The single provides an early glimpse into an album and film experience built on immersion, symbolism, and evolving sonic landscapes, inviting listeners to step beyond the surface of consciousness and into the etheric realms waiting beneath.

About IATT:

IATT is a Philadelphia based progressive extreme metal band known for fusing blackened aggression, technical precision, and cinematic atmosphere into immersive, concept driven works. Their sound moves between ferocity and fragility, combining intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and orchestral textures to create music that feels both emotionally intense and narratively expansive.

Since forming in 2008, IATT has steadily evolved into a project defined by scope and ambition. Each release is approached as a complete experience, with recurring musical themes, symbolic instrumentation, and carefully shaped pacing that guide the listener through psychological and philosophical terrain. Their albums often explore themes such as consciousness, identity, and the tension between reality and inner worlds, expressed through layered arrangements that reward deep listening.

Records like Nomenclature and Magnum Opus established IATT as a band unafraid to stretch the boundaries of extreme metal. Jazz influenced phrasing, classical inspired orchestrations, and atmospheric passages exist alongside relentless riffing and commanding vocal performances, giving their music a multidimensional character that resists simple categorization.

A strong visual and conceptual identity also plays a central role in the band’s work. IATT frequently extend their musical narratives into interconnected visual pieces, reinforcing the emotional and symbolic weight of their albums. This unified approach reflects their belief that sound, story, and imagery can combine to create a deeply immersive artistic statement.

With each new chapter, IATT continue refining their balance of brutality, beauty, and narrative depth, standing as one of the more adventurous and forward thinking voices in modern progressive extreme metal.

IATT is:

  • Jay Briscoe – bass, vocals

  • Joe Cantamessa – lead guitar

  • Alec Pezzano – rhythm guitar, orchestral arrangements

  • Paul Cole – percussion

Unverkalt Break from the Past with Newly Blackened Edge on “Introjects”

Ever since they emerged from Greece’s underground catacombs, Unverkalt have been drawn to the edge. On their upcoming third album, the post-metal luminaries finally plunge into the darkness that’s always waited for them below. While wrestling with the weight of our accursed history, Héréditaire now stands as the band’s heaviest and most heartfelt offering.

Today, Unverkalt are releasing the third and final advanced single from Héréditaire. “Introjects” breaks from the broken beliefs of the past with the band’s newly blackened edge.

“We often carry beliefs and ideas that were never ours but absorbed from the worlds of others”, Unverkalt says. “These dead constructs linger just beneath the surface, quietly shaping us - until something breaks. There’s a moment of dissonance, a crack in the surface, a realization that the weight we carry isn’t ours to bear”.

Watch the bright and blistering video for “Introjects” below.

Kalavrezou’s mystifying cleans remain one of Unverkalt’s defining traits. Even when trembling beneath the monolithic riff of “I, The Deceit”, her contempt for those who stand by as the world burns is heated when forged alongside her Athenian brother-in-arms Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ. But as the album draws to a close, Héréditaire ends shadowed in doubt for the future. “Bathed in lies / Can we make it better” she wonders before disappearing into the shivering wake left by “Maladie de ‘Esprit”.

“This album is not meant to resolve”, the band says, “but to dissolve patterns from those who came before, faceless yet familiar. The colors have drained. What remains is veiled in black, not as a symbol, but as a truth that covers everything”.

On Héréditaire, Unverkalt lift the veil on our cursed existence with their heaviest and most heartfelt offering.

HELLRIPPER Unleashes Electrifying Title Track from Upcoming Opus, "Coronach"

Scotland's ibex-obsessed blackened thrash bastard of Hades, otherwise known as HELLRIPPER, is now unleashing the electrifying title track from his upcoming fourth studio album, 'Coronach,' which will be released worldwide on March 27, 2026 via Century Media Records, making it his debut to the label! The anthemic single, “Coronach,” can now be heard along with a lyric video created by Irvan Dionisi / Theblackvisual.id below.

Hellripper’s mastermind, guitarist/vocalist and songwriter James McBain comments, “A coronach is a vocal lament traditionally performed at funerals in the Scottish highlands. Intertwined with my own words is the poem of the same name by Sir Walter Scott, which served as an inspiration for this story: the funeral of an ambivalent and mysterious figure, revered by his community for his heroic deeds but whose life hid many dark secrets. As well as lyrically, the track is also a musical experiment for me; it was primarily influenced by late 80’s thrash metal along with bands like Bathory, Gallowbraid and Atlantean Kodex. A dash of post-punk, a fair amount of Iron Maiden-style guitar harmonies, some classical references and the haunting wail of the bagpipes fading in the distance: this song feels like the perfect farewell to the album."

'Coronach' can be pre-ordered HERE.

In addition, Hellripper has recently announced a string of support shows for thrash metal legend Testament in Spain and France. In addition, Hellripper will next embark on European headline tour alongside Schizophrenia and Sarcator to promote 'Coronach' and has also revealed a number of festival appearances and two performances in Mexico. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

Enter the GOAT KVLT HERE.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, Hellripper has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, bravehearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from “Kill 'Em All” era Hetfield and “Welcome to Hell” era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's “Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags” that Metal Injection stated: "Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning”. McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into Hellripper's Century Media debut “Coronach”.

“ROARING” RANDY HOUSER RETURNS TO COUNTRY RADIO WITH “BACK IN THE BOTTLE”

Country music’s most unmistakable voice is officially back where it belongs. Randy Houser’s new single, “Back In The Bottle,” impacts country radio today with 80 stations on board, marking a powerful homecoming for the multi-Platinum hitmaker.

Hailed as “one of the best voices in the genre” by Rolling Stone, fans and programmers alike have echoed the same sentiment: Randy Houser’s voice has been deeply missed on country radio. With “Back In The Bottle,” that absence gives way to “a certified honky tonk banger,” shares Whiskey Riff, marking a moment that feels less like a comeback and more like a long-awaited return home.

“Feeling the love from fans and country radio on this one means everything,” shares Houser. “I’m so grateful for all the support for this song, and I’m looking forward to sharing more new music with all of you this year.”

Written solely by Houser and co-produced by longtime collaborator Blake Chancey, “Back In The Bottle” is “a totally joyous listening experience,” lauds MusicRow, as “Roaring Randy Houser…possesses one of the most magnificent voices in contemporary country music.”

“Back In The Bottle” opens with the familiar wreckage of a rowdy night out, leading to a chorus that embraces the kind of night you’d gladly repeat, consequences be damned:

The single launches a new chapter for Houser, as he readies a steady stream of new music expected throughout 2026, alongside tour and festival dates this spring and summer, with more to be announced.

About Randy Houser
Lauded as “one of the best voices in the genre” by Rolling Stone, with an inimitable voice The New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Randy Houser’s latest single “Back In The Bottle” arrives as the first taste of new music to come in 2026. Racking up three consecutive No. 1 hits and more than four million in singles sales to date with his Stoney Creek Records album How Country Feels, he topped the charts with the title track, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “Goodnight Kiss” (also his first No. 1 as a songwriter) and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 smash and CMA Song of the Year-nominated “Like A Cowboy.” Houser added a fourth No. 1 to his catalogue with “We Went” from his 2016 album, Fired Up. The deluxe version of Houser’s sixth studio album Note To Self is available now via Magnolia Music Group and features four new collaborations with artists including Cody Johnson, Justin Moore, Miranda Lambert and Riley Green. RIAA Gold-certified single and title track “Note To Self” marked his “powerful return” following 2019’s critically acclaimed album Magnolia, with MusicRow boasting the Mississippi native “remains one of country music’s very finest vocalists.” For more information, visit RandyHouser.com.

Haste the Day Announce New Album "Dissenter" Out 5/1 + Share "Shallows" Visualizer

HASTE THE DAY, the metalcore band that made a scene splash in the '00s, returned in 2024 with the video for the new song "Burn." They also appeared at Furnace Fest that year. It was their first music in nearly a decade.

But they didn't stop there. Not a chance!

Today, the band is thrilled to announce its new album DISSENTER, which arrives May 1 on Solid State Records. It's their first album since 2015. Pre-order it here

They have also shared the visualizer for new single "Shallows." Watch it below

"'Shallows' captures the core of what we set out to create on this record — aggressive, melodic metalcore," the band says. "Driven by high-energy riffs, heavy breakdowns, and a memorable chorus, the song balances nostalgia with contemporary influence. Lyrically, it confronts disillusionment, corruption, and the cost of defiance."

So absorb all of that insight and then open up the pit...

Haste The Day conjure the sound of coming full circle. The Indiana-bred band rekindles the spark at the heart of their signature style by sharpening the edges, tightening the melodies, and amplifying the scope with cinematic ambition. Haste The Day have clung to their integrity since initially emerging at the turn of the century. Following Burning Bridges [2004] and When Everything Falls [2005], Stephen made his formal debut as the group's frontman on Pressure The Hinges [2007]. The band unleashed a trio of fan favorite offerings, namely Dreamer [2008], the seminal Attack Of The Wolf King [2010], and Coward [2015]. The latter marked their second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Along the way, they toured with everyone from Hollywood Undead to Norma Jean. Despite going dormant in 2016, they amassed tens of millions of streams and continued to resonate with an ever-expanding audience. As such, their 2023 reunion gig at the sold-out Furnace Fest was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Returning with their first full-length release in eleven years, the musicians tap into who they were and push forward together on their seventh LP, Dissenter [Solid State].
