Berlin-based act Vianova are back with their explosive new single "Uh Yaya" — a chaotic, groove-laden anthem packed with raw energy, tongue-in-cheek swagger, and live show vibes.

Following the viral momentum of their recent singles, which were praised and reacted to by top tier influencers like Nik Nocturnal and several prominent YouTube channels, Vianova have quickly emerged as one of Germany's most exciting new heavy acts.

"Uh Yaya" doesn't just push the envelope — it tears it up and sets it on fire.

LOVE IS NOISE Releases Two Brand-New Tracks “Hole In Me” And “All Eyes Shut” — Out Now via Century Media

Following widespread acclaim for their February 2025 debut album 'To Live in a Different Way' released via Century Media Records, UK powerhouse LOVE IS NOISE returns with new music much sooner than fans might have expected. The band is dropping two brand-new tracks, “Hole In Me” and “All Eyes Shut,” along with an electrifying new music video for the lead single “Hole In Me,” available below.

Alongside the dual single release, LOVE IS NOISE is also unveiling what might be their strongest music video to date and officially introducing a new chapter in the band’s evolution. The updated lineup now includes Sam Clark (Bass), Alex Ioannou (Guitar), and Joe Pink(Drums), joining founding vocalist Cameron Humphrey to form the newly solidified quintet.

Cam shares about the new line-up:

“It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome Sam, Joe and Alex into the fold. They’ve been touring with LOVE IS NOISE over the past year and the chemistry we had between us all was unmatched. This made the decision to offer them full time roles very easy. We’re brothers and I can’t wait to tour the world over and over with them.”

He adds about the new singles:

'Hole In Me' begins a new chapter in the life of LOVE IS NOISE. 1 becomes 4. This song is heartbreak at its finest, accompanied by the heaviest instrumentation from ourselves to date. This is the future! On the other hand, 'All Eyes Shut,' alongside a guitar solo from our friend Erik, leans more into our alternative rock influences. This song sounds like if 'Everlong' era Foo Fighters was created today. To us, this is a perfect combo and a great addition alongside 'Hole In Me.'

Watch the Visualizer for "All Eyes Shut" HERE

LOVE IS NOISE began its journey in 2021 as a collaboration between Humphrey and former guitarist Tom Mellon (who recently left the band to explore other musical endeavours) balancing the ethereal and intense. While sonic signposts include modern-day shoegaze as well as the likes of Glassjaw and Deftones, the band’s 2022 EP, 'Euphoria, Where Were You?' (released on FEVER 333 frontman Jason Aalon Butler’s 333 WRECKORDS CREW) pointed towards a soul-crushing sonic heartache all their own.

A string of singles led to the band inking with Century Media and beginning work on their debut album. LOVE IS NOISE released the first taste of new music with the acclaimed singlesSoft Glow,” “Jawbreaker To live in a different way, take.one.minute,” and It Hurts To Know You're There,” which appeared on numerous playlists across the streaming platforms and were featured on BBC Radio One, Kerrang! Radio and Total Rock. The band’s Century Media debut, ‘To live in a different way,’ straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), ‘To live in a different way’ is a startling debut album.

Gridiron Drop "Heavy Metal Money (Seen It All Before)" Feat. Big Body Bes Video

GRIDIRON — Matthew Karll, vocals; Will Kaelin, guitar and vocals; Xavier Wilson, guitar; Lennon Livesay, bass; and Tyler Mullen, drums —dropped new album Poetry From Pain earlier this year via Blue Grape Music. Get it here

The band has shared the video for the bouncy banger "Heavy Metal Money (Seen It All Before)" feat. Big Body Bes.

Watch it Below.

Gridiron, fresh off a plate-shifting performance at Rough Trade in NYC, will bringPoetry From Pain to fans and will bring venues to their knees all summer long. All upcoming confirmed tour dates with Summer Slaughter are below.

Gridiron, which originally formed as a pandemic project and have since grown into a full-fledged entity, features members of Never Ending Game, Simulakra, and Scarab, and connects the Philadelphia, Delaware, and Michigan areas.

Pushing every boundary to a breaking point, Gridiron will go to any extreme and then some. They follow quite possibly the most unpredictable playbook in the game. The band might flood the zone with a corpsepaint-smearing death metal barrage only to double back around for a victory lap narrated by blinged-out and braggadocios bars. Their hybridization of metal, hardcore, and hip-hop wouldn’t be out of place at either OZZfest 1997 or Rolling Loud 2027.

It's why the quintet have bulldozed their own path as a phenomenon with millions of streams and acclaim from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, NO ECHO, and more.

Gridiron were born out of a series of COVID-era marathon Call of Duty sessions, which led to writing and recording together. Their musical pedigree spoke for itself with Will also in Never Ending Game, Xavier in Simulakra, and Tyler and Lennon in Scarab. Given their individual experiences, the guys instantly locked into a creative groove. Following the Loyalty At All Costs EP [2020] and Worldwide Brotherhood EP [2021], they dropped their first full-length, No Good At Goodbyes [2022]. Along the way, they also shared stages with everyone from Missing Link to Trapped Under Ice and have plenty of upcoming touring planned for 2025.

And now, Poetry From Pain is here and it slays.

False Gods - Lost in Darkness and Distance

FALSE GODS are not here to comfort you. Since forming on Long Island, NY in 2015, the band has carved a sonic identity rooted in disillusionment, despair, and the bitter truths of existence. On their new album, Lost in Darkness and Distance, the band reaches into deeper shadows, sonically, emotionally, and philosophically, than ever before. It's not just their heaviest record, it's their most human.

Emerging from the ashes of SKELETONDEALER, longtime collaborators Mike Stack (vocals) and Greg March (guitar) formed FALSE GODS with a vision of creating music that defied genre confines. Early releases like Wasteland (2016) and Reports From Oblivion (2017) hinted at what was to come, a collision of NYHC energy, NOLA sludge, and post-punk anxiety. But it was 2020’s No Symmetry…Only Disillusion and 2022’s Neurotopia, both released on Seeing Red Records, that solidified their reputation as a band unafraid to confront musical and existential extremes. Neurotopia earned critical acclaim from Decibel and Metal Hammer UK, each praising its suffocating atmosphere and refusal to adhere to genre conventions.

While on tour supporting Neurotopia, one word kept surfacing in press and fan conversations: "hardcore." It’s not a word Mike Stack rejects, but it is one he resists being boxed in by. “While we all met in our local hardcore scene, that's not where we wanted to stay,” Stack explains. “A song like 'Imposter' shows that we’re not afraid to write with actual melody. There are still brutally heavy moments here, like 'Worldless,' but there’s also psychedelic, YOB-inspired haze in 'Death Is Listening' and industrial or noise textures across 'Straw Dog' and 'Voice of Treason.' We wanted to push ourselves and see how far FALSE GODS could stretch while still sounding like us.”

Lost in Darkness and Distance is the result of that creative reach and of personal tragedy. The record was written and recorded during a time marked by death, addiction, and emotional collapse in the lives of several members. That rawness bleeds into every second of the album. There are no metaphors to hide behind here. Stack’s vocals are not just screams, they are confessions. Each track feels like a page torn from a journal written under duress.

"Enemy That Never Was" explores the emotional wreckage left by the unresolved death of a close family member. "Imposter" spirals through identity confusion, self-hatred, and alienation, with Stack describing it as “almost like I’m playing a character of a human.” In "Straw Dog," he screams into the void of a meaningless existence, confronting failure with brutal honesty. "Worldless" exposes the empty promises of substance abuse, while "Suffering in a Strange Land" captures the haunting sense of being entirely alone, even among others. The final track, "Death Is Listening," reflects on mortality with crushing vulnerability: “I still can't decide if I'm anxiously awaiting death or deathly afraid of it. It depends on the second.”

It’s this emotional clarity that makes Lost in Darkness and Distance so powerful. It’s a record that stares unblinking into the abyss, but never feels forced or performative. The lyrics feel lived-in, exhausted, and scarred. The title, taken from the final line of Frankenstein, reflects the central theme, the sense of being exiled not from society, but from reality itself.

Musically, the band continues to refine its unique voice. Their influences range from CROWBAR, YOB, and GODFLESH to KILLING JOKE, SWANS, BLACK FLAG, and CARNIVORE. But these are not pastiches. FALSE GODS wield these sounds like weapons, twisting sludge riffs into industrial grind and blending bleak psychedelia with punishing hardcore rhythms. The result is an album that sounds like no one else.

With a revamped lineup featuring Mike Stack – Vocals, Greg March – Guitar, Devin Stracuzza – Bass, and Josh Harrison – Drums, the band has never sounded tighter or more dangerous. Their live résumé includes sets with CROWBAR, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, WILL HAVEN, GHOST BATH, FISTULA, 16, BONGZILLA, ILSA, CONAN, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES, and more. They've crushed stages at Maryland Doomfest (2019, 2023), Grim Reefer Fest (2023), and Ohio Doomed & Stoned Fest (2023). In July 2025, they’ll join EYEHATEGOD on tour, a fitting pairing of two bands that find beauty in the broken.

FALSE GODS are not here to sell you hope. They are here to make something real. Lost in Darkness and Distance will be released July 25th, 2025.

About FALSE GODS:

Formed in 2015 on Long Island, New York, FALSE GODS are a genre-defying force in modern heavy music. Blending sludge metal’s crushing weight with post-metal atmosphere, NYHC aggression, and the bleak intensity of industrial and post-punk, the band carves out a sound that is both emotionally raw and sonically brutal. Their music shifts seamlessly between towering heaviness, haunting melody, and punishing noise, always grounded in lyrical themes of isolation, grief, and existential dread.

With a lineup featuring Mike Stack – Vocals, Greg March – Guitar, Devin Stracuzza – Bass, and Josh Harrison – Drums, FALSE GODS have built a reputation for cathartic live performances and uncompromising songwriting. They’ve shared the stage with heavyweights like CROWBAR, EYEHATEGOD, CONAN, and FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES, and have appeared at festivals including Maryland Doomfest, Grim Reefer Fest, and Ohio Doomed & Stoned.

Their upcoming album, Lost in Darkness and Distance, marks their most dynamic and personal work to date, pushing beyond genre lines into something darker, deeper, and more vulnerable.

FALSE GODS do not offer escapism. They reflect reality—unfiltered and unrelenting.

MALPHAS Reawakens Early Darkness With New Single “The Conjuring”

Epic blackened melodeath conjurers MALPHAS unveil their latest offering, “The Conjuring”, out now via M-Theory Audio. A reimagining of one of the first songs the band ever wrote, the single fuses their raw early energy with the refined intensity of their modern sound.

Following the acclaim of their 2024 sophomore album Portal (M-Theory Audio), MALPHAS now look both forward and backward with “The Conjuring”, a track that serves as a creative bridge between their origins and the mythos of their upcoming third album.

“The Conjuring is one of the early tracks we recorded as a band - our songwriting was still in an embryonic state, so we decided to revisit it for the 10 year mark of our first release. We rewrote and rearranged parts of it in the vein of our modern sound and were pleasantly surprised by the result. The role of the Conjuror is central to the story of The 39th Spirit and will be linked to the events in our third album.” — Paul DeSanctis

With cinematic orchestration, blistering guitars, and a deep-rooted narrative core, “The Conjuring” reinforces Malphas’s position as a defining force in the evolving landscape of extreme metal.

To build momentum for their forthcoming third full-length, MALPHAS will hit the road this July on the Steel and Sorcery Tour in support of ICE GIANT, alongside CELESTIAL WIZARD, with special guests TROLLWAR on select dates. CLAWFINGER Return With "Scum"

CLAWFINGER are back. Not to save the world, but to shout unapologetically while it burns. Their new single Scum’ is a blistering punch of punk-rap fury - loud, raw, and seething with intent. It marks the return of the pioneering crossover band at their most direct, furious, and unfiltered in years.

“‘Scum’ is a raw, loud, and brutally honest punk rap anthem that goes straight for the throat,” says singer Zak Tell. “It’s aimed at the kind of guy who’s selfish, sexist, full of himself and somehow still talking. With sharp lyrics and a beat that hits like a punch, ‘Scum’ says what we’re all thinking about that one guy we all wish would just vanish from the face of the earth. It’s angry and it’s dark. If you’ve ever wanted to spit in someone’s face but lacked the upper-body strength or social permission, this song’s for you.”

"Scum" is out now via PERCEPTION - A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music. Stream it on all platforms: https://clawfinger.rpm.link/newsongPR

The end is near. Let’s make it loud.

About CLAWFINGER

CLAWFINGER are considered pioneers of European rap-metal. Formed in Stockholm in the early 1990s, the Swedish-Norwegian band made an explosive debut with Deaf Dumb Blind (1993), blending aggressive guitar riffs with politically charged lyrics and rap vocals. The album sold over 600,000 copies worldwide – more than 250,000 in Germany alone – and won a Swedish Grammis award in the Hardrock/Metal category.

CLAWFINGER’s follow-up Use Your Brain (1995) continued their success with chart placements across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Sweden. Over the years, they released seven studio albums including A Whole Lot of Nothing, Zeros & Heroes, Hate Yourself with Style, and Life Will Kill You, selling over 1.5 million records worldwide.

Known for their direct, riff-driven sound and strong political stance, CLAWFINGER address topics such as racism, political delusion, drug policy, environmental destruction, and social inequality. In the 1990s, they toured intensively with acts like ALICE IN CHAINS, MEGADETH and FAITH NO MORE and appeared at major festivals including Rock am Ring, Roskilde, and Monsters of Rock in South America.

After a brief hiatus, the band returned in 2014 and has since released new singles like “Save Our Souls” (2017) and “Environmental Patients” (2022). In 2025, Clawfinger signed a new label deal with Perception, with more music on the way – still as loud, sharp, and uncompromising as ever.

A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1, which arrived earlier this year via an unorthodox physical-first release strategy, landed Top 10 on the Billboard charts before it ever hit streaming. The album features mega-hits “Miracle” (initially released as a stand-alone single in 2022), “Feedback”, “Make It Make Sense” and current single "All My Friends". The project has been widely praised by fans and media alike with Kerrang! calling it “a powerful, razor-sharp reminder of why ADTR still dominate,” while Rock Sound hailed the record as “a confident, explosive statement from a band whose creative well is nowhere near dry.

The Maximum Fun Tour marks A Day To Remember’s first major North American run since the album’s release and is guaranteed to be an all-out party, the likes of which only A Day To Remember can bring. Don’t miss the opportunity to catch the band firing on all party cannons as they bring their new album, and the brand new video for "All My Friends" to life in the live arena this fall.

About A Day To Remember

Formed in Florida in 2003, A Day To Remember has spent over two decades defining and redefining the blueprint for modern heavy music. With nearly 2 billion global streams, multiple Gold and Platinum singles, and a fiercely loyal global fanbase, they’ve built a legacy on unpredictability, energy, and unshakable connection. Their latest release, Big Ole Album Vol. 1, debuted to critical acclaim and commercial success — and marks a bold new era for the band.

Thrash Metal Supergroup NEFARIOUS - Releases Title Track from Upcoming Album + Live Music Video

Today, the new thrash metal supergroup NEFARIOUS — featuring Katon De Pena, Rick Hunolt, Doug Piercy, Tom Gears, and Will "Beastman" Carroll — is excited to unleash the title track from their upcoming debut album, 'Addicted To Power,' out on July 18th. The title track comes accompanied by a live music video, available to view below.

A ferocious anthem for the disillusioned and the defiant, "Addicted to Power" delivers razor-sharp riffs, breakneck rhythms, and politically charged lyrics that cut straight to the bone. With legendary thrash titans Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus) and Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen) unleashing guitar fury, Katon De Pena on vocals, secret weapon Tom Gears on bass, and Will “Beastman” Carroll on the skin, NEFARIOUS blends classic old school thrash intensity with a sophisticated edge.

The accompanying music video is a raw performance piece filmed at Soundwave Studio in Oakland, CA. The video captures the pure essence of NEFARIOUS: unapologetic, unrelenting, and razor-focused on truth through sound.

The title track, "Addicted to Power," is about the insatiable hunger for control and the devastation it leaves in its wake, a true reflection of the times we are all experiencing right now. "Addicted to Power" marks the third single from NEFARIOUS's forthcoming album of the same name, following the critically praised tracks "Master Plan" and “One Nation Enslaved” released earlier this spring.

Rising rock and metal label Reigning Phoenix Music has teamed up with legendary toy maker Hasbro to bring to life COLD SLITHER, the fictional band from the iconic G.I. JOE Universe. The collaboration brings together members of GRUESOME, EXHUMED and KMFDM to create a fun and nostalgic homage to one of the most beloved toy brands of all time. "Bringing COLD SLITHER to life through our partnership with RPM has been an absolute dream come true! As a child watching this fictional band on my TV screen, I never imagined I'd one day help transform them from animated rockstars into a tangible, sonic reality. From the meticulously crafted figures you can hold in your hand to the face-melting album we've created, G.I. JOE fans worldwide are about to experience something truly revolutionary this summer. This project bridges nostalgia with innovation in ways that will leave the community speechless—prepare for a musical assault that would make Cobra Commander proud!" shares Ben"BMac" MacCrae — Associate Brand Manager, Global Brand Development & Marketing at Hasbro.

Lowlives Release Deluxe Version of Latest Album "Freaking Out" Feat. 6 Unreleased Tracks

Raucous rockers LOWLIVES have released a digital deluxe version of their current studio album, Freaking Out, featuring six unreleased songs, including new single "Better Off Alone."

Lowlives drummer Luke Johnson offers: "'Better off Alone' is about relationships where you feel like you're not good enough for the other person. Sometimes, we enter into relationships believing that the key to our own happiness lies in someone else, which is never true. Misery will always find you if haven't done the necessary work on yourself beforehand. And it will take a toll on the relationship — often leading to a lack of trust in the other person. At that point, you're just better off alone."

Watch the lyric video for "Better Off Alone" Below.

ABOUT LOWLIVES:
LOWLIVES isn’t so much about carefully stoking the embers as pouring on gasoline with merry impetuosity. With vocalist Lee Downer and drummer Luke Johnson joined by guitarist Jaxon Moore and bassist Steve Lucarelli, the nascent band was founded on a shared love of '90s alternative and grunge, and a shared desire to make music once more for little more than the love of doing so.

"During my time away from music, someone bought a pair of child’s ear defenders for my wife and I as a present when we announced we were pregnant," Johnson recalls. "I’d put them away in the cupboard, thinking we’d never need them, that I wouldn’t be playing any shows again. But they became this thing that nagged at me, the feeling that my daughter would never know the original me, for whom music was everything. Over time, those feelings came flooding back, as did the hunger, and the innocence. A massive part of me had been missing, and I wanted to get back to doing something pure and for the sheer love of it. That’s what Lowlives is. Whatever happens, happens. Let’s just Thelma And Louise this off a cliff."

LOWLIVES ARE:
Lee Downer — Vocals/Guitar
Jaxon Moore — Guitar

SHADOW OF INTENT Drop New Single & Music Video "Mechanical Chaos"

Imperium Delirium has arrived. The highly anticipated new album from Shadow of Intent is out now via Blood Blast Distribution, marking a career-defining moment for one of metal’s most forward-moving and fiercely independent forces. The band have also shared a lyric video for the album’s crushing title track—watch it Below and stream or order the full record HERE.

Written and produced by guitarist Chris Wiseman with lyrics written by vocalist Ben Duerr, Imperium Delirium is as sonically unrelenting as it is thematically urgent—exploring the machinery of modern power through psychological horror, political decay, and a sound built on symphonic grandeur and technical brutality. Across eleven tracks, Shadow of Intent take aim at imperialism, drone warfare, mass surveillance, and the cold systems that dehumanize us all. The themes are grounded in reality, made visceral through punishing breakdowns, blackened textures, and surgical precision.

Speaking on today's album release, Chris Wiseman shares

“After countless writing sessions, abandoned ideas, and many years of patience, we are very proud to bring you Imperium Delirium. We couldn’t be happier to finally turn to this newest chapter of Shadow of Intent.”

Since their formation in 2014, Shadow of Intent have garnered a reputation for crafting mind-blowingly technical, prog tinged symphonic deathcore. Widely acknowledged as one of the forerunners of the current deathcore renaissance, the band's debut album 'Primordial' was named as one of Revolver Magazine's '15 Essential Deathcore Albums', with Metal Sucks giving their 2019 album 'Melancholy' a perfect 5/5 review, stating "you can expect Shadow of Intent to send echoes across metal for as long as they feel like making music". To date, they amassed over 203 million streams, 64 million YouTube Views and have 460,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

This fall, the band will take Imperium Delirium on the road as part of a stacked North American tour alongside Lorna Shore, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Peeling Flesh. Full dates below.

DIY Punk Rock Band KEDDIES RESORT Unleashes New Single "Fireworks" + Premiere Music Video on Punk News

Today, Portland’s punk rock outfit KEDDIES RESORT is excited to unleash their new single "Fireworks," taken from their upcoming album, 'American Spirit,' out on July 4th via Sweatband Records. Raucous, unfiltered, and bursting with raw energy, “Fireworks” finds KEDDIES RESORT in full ignition mode.

The music video for "Fireworks" is premiering with Punk News

Leaning into their scrappy DIY roots, the band blends jagged punk rhythms with razor-sharp power pop sensibilities, delivering a track that crackles with urgency. Fueled by overdriven guitars and an acerbic vocal bite, “Fireworks” erupts as both a fiery personal outburst and a sardonic snapshot of modern chaos — a noisy, hook-laced detonation set against the backdrop of their signature lo-fi grit.

Keddie Smith comments on the new single:

"This song sums up the concept character's narcissistic view of himself and the world around him. It marks a celebration and turning point in the story, a sick daydream coming to life."

Watch the Music Video Premiere for "Fireworks" Below:

KEDDIES RESORT is a three-piece explosion with a catalogue consisting of 4 EPs and 4 LPs titled 'Makita''KYST', 'A Killer Goodbye,' and most recently, 'American Spirit.'

Since their first show on April 2nd of 2022, they’ve quickly climbed the ranks in the Portland music scene, gaining popularity and solidifying a strong fan base. This power trio punches above its weight, with a striking mix of Alt-rock, punk, and harmonic pop sensibilities.

Their stage antics have gained the band major notoriety in the all-ages scene, landing them the title “Portland's most infamous band.” When they’re not inducing indoor crowd tornadoes, you can find them playing generator shows under bridges and in the basements and garages that have served as the backbone of underground youth culture in Portland for years.

Their upcoming album, 'American Spirit,' delivers sweet, fuzzed-out power pop packed with infectious hooks and raw energy. KEDDIES RESORT captures the spirit of Portland’s youth and counter culture with a sound as vibrant and unfiltered as it is unforgettable — a blast of pure DIY exhilaration on wax.

About MORS PRINCIPIUM EST

Over the course of seven original studio albums, MORS PRICIPIUM EST refined their modern approach to melodic death metal again and again. Members came and gone, but their music remained untouched: razor-sharp riffing, sweeping orchestration, melancholic harmonies, and relentless rhythmic precision - topped by Ville Viljanen’s unmistakable vocals.

MORS PRINCIPIUM EST were founded in Pori in 1999 and are one of the longest serving Finnish melodic death metal bands. With frontman Viljanen being the most stable members, the present quintet survived several line-up changes before original members and guitarists Jori Haukio and Jarkko Kokko returned to MPE and already took part in recording their latest offering “Liberate The Unborn Inhumanity” [2022]. Also contributing to these refreshing re-recordings from their early years were former bassist Teemu Heinola and drummer Marko Tommila. A statement to honour the group’s history and to celebrate the freshly motivated line-up, which is now set to blast out their ninth album titled Darkness Invisible on September 26, 2025 through new label home PERCEPTION.

Swiss Post-Metal Masters Abraham Announce New Album "idsungwüssä" Out 0/26 + Drop "Naked in a Naked Sky"

With four studio albums and European tours supporting Cult Of Luna and The Ocean, the Swiss masters Abraham have forged their reputation as one of the leading post metal bands in Europe.

They now return with news of their fifth studio album — the mighty idsungwüssä: A third and final chapter to a series of concept albums of truly epic proportions, at the center of which lies a sprawling, apocalyptic portrayal of humanity's downfall.

In celebration of the news, the band have revealed the first glimpse of idsungwüssä — "Naked in a Naked Sky."

Watch the "Naked in a Naked Sky" music video below.

Pre-order idsungwüssä here.

Still staged in the gritty atmosphere and philosophical weight of post-metal, sludge, and ambient noise, idsungwüssä sees Abraham march even further into dissonant and defiant territory.

"The three albums are clearly linked together thematically," the band comments. "Although, rather than an additional chapter, idsungwüssä is more like a parallel narrative to Débris de mondes perdus. The latter was a jump in time after Look, Here Comes the Dark!, whereas idsungwüssä is a jump in space, a journey away from earth. It should be the final piece of this little jolly ride."

This album isn't just heavy, it is absolutely drenched in delicious filth, and yet by embracing even more the melodic interludes and melancholic passages, they create a devastating contrast to the wall of power coming from stacked guitars, catastrophic drums and raging, sharp vocals — delivered in Swiss-German dialect.

"The album was recorded between November 2024 and February 2025, all while handling our day jobs and in a period that was, on a personal level, not the easiest for some of us. It is only in the last two weeks of the recording process, right before sending it out to mixing, that it sort of came together and started to feel like a coherent album, an album that we could be happy and proud about. For an album with change/transformation as an underlying theme, this is sort of performative!"

This urgency and duress bleeds into every song, an hour long journey that moves from the grim to sublime, from melancholy to raw destruction — evoking ruined civilizations and the last wails of fractured psyches. Yet there is something less bleakly human, more ethereal at moments, as if glimpsing beyond the constraints of the body and its wheel of flesh and death.

Strewn throughout the record are appearances of Farfisa Louvre organ — prominently featuring on an Abraham album for the first time. The band was also joined by Kevin Galland (Coilguns), who added additional Moog and piano parts.

The band continues, "Our approach to recording guitars was different than what we did before. Instead of having one guitar on the left playing a part and one on the right playing another part, we decided that left and right guitars were to play the same part, and the center guitar was to play another part. We just stacked more guitars whenever we needed. And oh did we use a lot of reverb, too!"

The structures and movements of the songs found within idsungwüssä are unique and fresh — a balancing of themes and emotions that is both intoxicating and unsettling, it is an immersive journey that rewards deep listening and challenges the boundaries of genre. From the patient grandeur of coming extinction, to the chaos and fevered urgency of the aftermath, in idsungwüssä Abraham move forward from prophetic lamentation to an elegiac visceral response. The emotional closure of this expression is felt, something final that will leave you speechless and with only one real option: Listen to it again.

J.B.O. Make Fan Hearts Flutter With "Bussi"; Lyric Video For New Single Streaming

Summer, the season of love, has finally arrived! Comedy metal band J.B.O. doesn’t need to be asked twice to show their affection. Still riding high on the success of their beer-fuelled single "Ka-Fump!" and inspired by the start of the warm season, the quartet is back today, leaving plenty of... ahem... musical love bites with their new track "Bussi" (Southern German/Austrian slang for ‘Kiss’).

Introduced by a sweet accordion melody, the cozily seeming song starts on a romantic note before Vito, Hannes, Ralph and Wolfram pull out the big NDH guns and enter the second stage of their journey to their forthcoming album Haus Of The Rising Fun (January 9, 2026 via PERCEPTION - A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music). The single guides all friends of ‘true nonsense,’ who found their way out of the Franconian woods despite endlessly consuming "Ka-Fump!",straight into the next labyrinth, the world of Bavarian beer tents. Musically flirting with one of the most famous bands of all time, "Bussi" is nothing but an unrivalled minnesong which comes up with select mischievous quotes.

“‘Bussi’ is a pure love song and innocent as its title! That’s why we also wrote guiltless Bavarian lyrics although they’re not completely kosher... Well, Vito is a Bavarian-Franconian crossing anyway. Come on, don’t make a fuss!” add J.B.O.through rose-coloured glasses.

Watch the video below:

About J.B.O.

Heavy guitars and German lyrics combined with Franconian sense for nonsense don’t work? Way off the mark! Since 1989, J.B.O. have multiply proven that they’re the real masters of comedy metal - over the course of 14 studio albums to be concrete. Additionally awarded with two gold records, the quartet are mostly known for covering hit songs by artists of different genres, giving them a unique twist through re-written lyrics with an extra portion of humour.

Their original tracks shouldn’t remain unnoticed nevertheless since they also popularise with not minor jocular lyrical content. Fan favourites such as Ein guter Tag zum Sterben" [‘A Good Day To Die’] are classics of the band’s repertoire and vital parts of each and every J.B.O. concert.

From die-hard old-school metalheads to families and kids and fans beyond the hard’n’heavy boundaries: Their wide range of musical inspiration has resulted in an equally varied amount of followers which sees J.B.O. unite all sorts of people under their multicoloured musical roof and especially in front of the stages, making them even more outstanding amidst the heavily crowded world of artists out there.
