With Generation Of The Void, NAILED TO OBSCURITY have crafted their most mature and expansive album to date. The album reflects the turmoil of the post-pandemic era, the shadows of war in Europe, and the relentless changes affecting all of humanity. Beyond its political and social commentary, the album also dives deep into personal struggles, confronting themes of dark emotions, depression, and fear. Every note, every lyric carries the weight of uncertainty and disillusionment, while no one knows what one will find within the void or beyond.

The production quality on Generation Of The Void marks a significant step up, pushing NAILED TO OBSCURITY's sound to an entirely new level. This album also introduces a new dimension to the band's sonic identity, featuring an unprecedented balance between their signature crushing growls and a greater emphasis on clean vocals. While clean singing has always been part of their sound, Generation Of The Void takes it further—some songs feature only clean vocals, others are dominated by growls, and most strike a dynamic balance between the two.

Recorded between 2021 and 2024, the album sees the band reaching new creative depths. Guitars, bass, and drums were laid down at Woodshed Studios in Landshut, Germany, while vocals were recorded by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark. Additional elements, such as synths and extra guitar layers, were produced by Lamberti himself at the band’s headquarters in East Frisia. Production duties were shared between V. Santura, Jacob Hansen, and Lamberti, with Hansen handling the final mix and master, ensuring a sound that is both expansive and intimate.

The album’s artwork and layout were crafted by renowned artist Giannis Nakos, visually embodying the record’s dark and introspective themes.

Formed in 2005 by guitarists Jan-Ole Lamberti and Volker Dieken, NAILED TO OBSCURITYstarted their journey as teenagers with an uncompromising vision. They released their independent debut Abyss in 2007, proving their resilience in an industry where many bands fade before they rise. With lineup evolutions in the early days and sonic transformations, the Germans honed their melancholic yet crushing sound, which reached new heights with Opaque (2013) and King Delusion (2017), released via Apostasy Records. THE HAUNTED Launches Official Music Video for New Song, "In Fire Reborn"

Swedish thrash pioneers and purveyors THE HAUNTED continue to scorch the earth with their upcoming tenth studio album, 'Songs of Last Resort,' to be released worldwide on May 30, 2025 via longtime partners Century Media Records. The band is now unleashing the blistering new single, “In Fire Reborn," along with a music video, which was directed by Patric Ullaeus / (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, etc.). The clip can be found below.

THE HAUNTED vocalist Marco Aro comments about the track, “This is the second single off the album 'Songs of Last Resort.' The song is called 'In Fire Reborn' and it’s a more classic THE HAUNTED sounding song with the aggression turned up to 11…just in case you missed the memo on our previous single!”

Guitarist Jensen adds, "A classic THE HAUNTED 6/8 beat song. I wrote the start, verses and ending of the song, but it wasn't until Jonas wrote the chorus when 'In Fire Reborn' really bloomed out. I believe this could also easily become a fan favorite, just like it has become one of the band's favorite songs on the album. The lyrics are, just like with 'Warhead,'' also along the topic of war, but this time from a soldier's perspective."

Manchester's THE SPEED OF SOUND brings power-pop indie rock bliss on 'Tranquility Falls'

Iconic Manchester indie rockers The Speed Of Sound present their new single 'Tranquility Falls', a transcendent power-pop meets indie-rock anthem where soaring guitars weave through an enveloping inner peace, connecting you to the universe in a moment of uplifting and all-embracing serenity.

This is the latest gem from their ambitious mega-album trilogy 'A Cornucopia: Minerva, Victory, Bounty', available in multiple formats via Californian cult label Big Stir Records.

The Speed of Sound is made up of father and son John Armstrong (guitars and vocals) and Henry Armstrong (keyboards), Ann-Marie Crowley (vocals and guitar), Kevin Roache (bass guitar) and John Broadhurst (drums). Launched in 1989 with music that is idiosyncratic and counter-intuitive, The Speed of Sound creates music with lyrical bite, expanding their foundation of 1960s, punk and new wave influences, their dynamic and stylistic variation crossing borders and pushing boundaries at every opportunity.

The band also recently took us on an audio-visual joyride on 'SS-100-X', titled after the codename for the presidential car that fateful day of JFK's assassination in Dallas, 'Permafrost' and 'Eight Fourteen Monday', which explores themes of isolation, detachment, and the contrast between superficial politeness and genuine emotion..

With overlapping themes of independence - both culturally and artistically - each disc of the 'A Cornucopia' trilogy has its own vibe and personality: 'Minerva' is belligerence in musical form, 'Victory' is a manifesto of artistic creativity and 'Bounty' represents the fruits of artistic freedom, all taking place far from the grasping tentacles of the ‘music industry’.

'A Cornucopia' began with the band’s own love of the album format and a determination to make long-form music rather than merely produce a conveyor belt of unrelated singles. The interlocking themes of 'A Cornucopia' are deliberately made for album listeners to enjoy, each disc being its own standalone entity while also forming part of the larger whole trinity.

Full of ambition, energy and melodic brilliance, this three-album deluxe edition is available on vinyl and CD. Beginning with the 'Minerva' album, The Speed of Sound shared a rich bouquet of thought-provoking compositions, including the hauntingly spacious 'Trickledown', the stratospherically vast 'The Great Acceleration', the uplifting 'Mind Palace' and 'West Wind', where a recklessly fast rhythm merges with a Wagnerian horn section.

The 'Victory' album then brings 14 fresh and unexpectedly shape-shifting grooves, from the supremely danceable 'Underground', the unabashed sensuality of 'Monsoon', gothic lounge jazz of 'Permafrost', the glam-rocking 'E to F', reckless garage punk punch of 'Go For It', post-nostalgia of 'The Same River' and triumphant shimmering elegance of 'Tranquility Falls' to the strangely linked pairing of 'Apocalypse Acropolis'and 'Apocalypse Metropolis'.

The ’Bounty’ album adds to this with another ten ranging from the crunching garage rock of 'No Kicks' to the haunting floating melody of 'Virtual Reality123', acoustic driven rave-up of 'Replicant' and bouncing energy of 'Artificial Paradise'.

Marking their 35th anniversary, 'A Cornucopia' trilogy follows their 2021 critically acclaimed album 'Museum Of Tomorrow', returning triumphant, defiant and redemptive. Most music is never even recorded, and most recorded music remains unheard. ‘A Cornucopia’ is a celebration of all unheard underground music and the whole counterculture itself - music made for the pleasure of making it.

Irish legacy project Bring Your Own Hammer to release 'My Grief on the Sea' with Dimple Discs.

Bring Your Own Hammer (BYOH), in collaboration with Peckham-based label Dimple Discs, has announced the forthcoming vinyl release of the ambitious Irish music compilation 'My Grief on the Sea'. Bringing some of Ireland’s and Britain’s finest songwriters together with historians to create new and original song cycles based on historical sources and to interpret song material rooted in the history of 19th-century Ireland and of the Irish Diaspora.

Not a band, nor a group, an ensemble or even a collective, Bring Your Own Hammer is a faction but, unlike 19th century Irish factions (who met, armed with sticks and two-handed wattles in fairs and markets), BYOH is armed with voices and instruments and dedicated, as no faction before, to the re-interpretation of historical material in song form.

‘My Grief On The Sea’ is dedicated to Cathal Coughlan, one of Ireland’s most revered singer-songwriters and frontman of acclaimed 80s-90s groups Microdisney and Fatima Mansions). The first vinyl LP to be released through BYOH, this album is brimming with contributions from superb artists, including Linda Buckley, Cathal Coughlan, Adrian Crowley, Eileen Gogan, Carol Keogh, Michelle O’Rourke, Brigid Mae Power, Michael J Sheehy, Mike Smalle and Jah Wobble,

This is a collection of songs about the sea, maritime voyages, and migration to and from Ireland during the 1800s. These songs criss-cross the Atlantic, following the remaining threads of lives shaped, in one way or another, by the sea. In 'Golden Streets, Bitter Tears' by Adrian Crowley with Brigid Mae Power, for instance, lines written in the letters of migrants to North America are matched with beautiful melodies.

You will hear the echoes of words from a bog in Co. Roscommon, sung in grief for a lost lover, who has departed overseas in the decades after the Famine (on the beautiful title track, Michelle O’Rourke’s ‘My Grief on the Sea’). Imagine yourself with Carol Keogh on the quays of New Ross in 1849, as Biddy and Catherine Keogh depart for New York (on the stunning ‘A Pair of Packed Valises (before the Dunbrody), 1849’) or picture yourself crossing the Atlantic in 1881 on a ship with Mary Connaughty (on the melancholy and haunting ‘Old Oak Road’ by Mike Smalle with Cathal Coughlan and Jah Wobble).

Join Cathal Coughlan and Linda Buckley on the roads of Co. Carlow, during the 1832 cholera epidemic, as a man called Crowley returns to Ireland after thirty years at sea (on the complex and poignant ‘The Man with Open Arms’). Sail the high seas with Eileen Gogan and Neil Farrell disguised as a cabin boy (on the sad and beautiful ‘Female Cabin Boy’) or stand with Tony Higgins and Agu on the quays of Dublin as the multitudes depart during the Famine (on the vibrant yet melancholy ‘Embarkation’).

Mike Smalle and Wally Nkikita trace Joseph Keys’ journey to Ireland from the time he leaves his life of enslavement in Virginia to his departure, from Baltimore, on board a ship across the Atlantic in early 1844 (on the melodious and tragic ‘Over the Ghosts’). Contemplate the rumble and power of the sea with Mike Smalle (on the sparkling track, ‘The Oscillating Sea’). Finally, imagine Marie and her lover swimming off the coast of Ireland as the effects of the Famine drive people from the land and towards the sea (on the starkly beautiful ‘The Weight of Water’ by Michael J. Sheehy).

This album is curated by Dr. Richard Mc Mahon, lecturer in History at MIC, Limerick, who explores forms of invented history that expose the villainy of the Irish race, both on the island and overseas, with support from Dr. Niall Whelehan, senior lecturer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, who has written widely on the history of modern Ireland and the Irish diaspora with a focus on the 19th century.

As of June 6, 'My Grief on the Sea' will be released on limited edition vinyl with a lovely gatefold sleeve and 12-page booklet with credits and mini-essays on these songs. It will be available via Bandcamp, where the digital and CD versions can already be had.

- Agu is a singer, songwriter and music producer with Polish and Czech roots now living in Galway.
- Linda Buckley is an Irish composer who has written extensively for orchestra (BBC Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ NSO), with an interest in merging her classical training with the worlds of post punk, folk and electronica.
- Cathal Coughlan, originally from Cork, was a founder and singer of acclaimed 80s/90s groups Microdisney and Fatima Mansions, and is widely considered to be one of Ireland’s most revered singer/songwriters, beloved by fans of caustic literate lyricism and erudite songcraft.
- Adrian Crowley is a songwriter, singer, composer and performer, originally from Galway and now based in Dublin.
- Neil Farrell is a musician, songwriter, and producer from Galway, Ireland and a founding member of the Galway band, Toasted Heretic.
- Eileen Gogan is a singer, songwriter and producer who lives in Dublin, Ireland. She has also performed with some of Ireland’s most noted bands (The Would Be’s, The Drays and Microdisney).
- Tony Higgins is a composer and musician from Galway, Ireland.
- Carol Keogh has been part of the independent music scene in Ireland since her first band The Plague Monkeys garnered critical acclaim for their debut EP Navigator in 1997 and album Surface Tension (1998).
- Michelle O’Rourke is a singer based in Dublin. Empowered by a background in Baroque vocal music, and ever-fascinated by the role of voice in the ritual of performance, Michelle maintains a diverse portfolio of work: from contemporary classical music, to devised interdisciplinary projects, to holistic vocal coaching.
- Wally Nkikita (Aka DJ Wally) is an artist, originally from Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, based in Galway city. He is a founder member of Galway African Diaspora-Ireland, a community group, leader of Galway Sonke Multicultural Choir and he plays an essential role in the evolution and promotion of African culture in Galway city.
- Brigid Mae Power is an Irish singer, songwriter and musician. She has produced four solo albums since 2016.
- Michael J. Sheehy makes music as a solo artist and as part of the rock band Miraculous Mule as well as one half of psychedelic electronic duo United Sounds of Joy. In 2020 he released his critically acclaimed solo album Distance Is The Soul of Beauty, his first in a decade.
- Mike Smalle is a musician, songwriter and producer from Galway, Ireland. He has released 8 albums to date under various guises. 2021 saw the release of his first album under his own name (Pagan Pulse).
- Jah Wobble is a well-known bass player who famously launched his career in Public Image Ltd.

Women-led, talented Brazilian Rock band MALVADA is excited to announce the release of their self-titled album, out on June 13, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. Their new single and accompanying video, “I'm Sorry,” are also available now.

The band commented on the new album:

MALVADA was initially formed in March 2020, at the start of the pandemic. With a rock n' roll style full of personality, the band quickly attracted attention as one of the most promising acts in the Brazilian rock scene.

 

In January 2021, MALVADA released their first single entitled "Mais Um Gole," which gained great popularity. Shortly afterwards, in May of the same year, it was time to release the second single "Cada Escolha uma Renúncia," which preceded the launch of the band's debut album, 'A Noite Vai Ferver.'

In 2022 and 2023, MALVADA solidified its presence on the national rock panorama, performing more than a hundred shows in several cities in Brazil. About Jack Starr:
Starr emerged on the rock and metal scene in 1981, forming, together with Joey Ayvazian, David DeFeis and Joe O’Rielly, the first incarnation of the heavy metal band Virgin Steele. The new band was selected in 1982 by Mike Varney of Shrapnel Records to appear on the label's compilation album U.S. Metal Volume 2. After only two albums, Virgin Steele of 1981 and Guardians of the Flame of 1982, Starr left Virgin Steele in 1983.
 
In 1984, Starr started his solo recording career with the album Out of the Darkness, featuring former Riot vocalist Rhett Forrester, members of The Rods and former Rainbow drummer Gary Driscoll. It was released in Europe by Music for Nations and was picked as one of the best albums of the year by the music magazines Kerrang! and Metal Forces.
 
Starr changed the name of his band to Jack Starr's Burning Starr and between 1984 and 1989 he produced albums, both solo and with the band. The music of those albums was classic American eighties heavy metal, a style between Poison and Metallica. In 1989 the band dissolved and Starr joined short-lived bands like Strider and Smoke Stack Lightning.
 
In the following years, Starr once again assembled a group of musicians for a new incarnation of Burning Starr, which performed at the Magic Circle Festival 2008 and released the album Defiance on Manowar's label Magic Circle Music in 2009. In 2011 they released Land of the Dead with Limb Music. The albums includes ex-Manowar guest musicians Ross the Boss and David Shankle. The band played at the 2013 Keep It True festival and recorded a DVD.

Modern Metal Supergroup CYHRA Release New Song "Mark Of My Sins"

Swedish melodic metal supergroup CYHRA (Featuring AMARANTHE Co-Founder Jake E. and current THE HALO EFFECT, KAMELOT, THE CROWN, and SUBURBAN TRIBE members) are continuing to take the metal world by storm with the release of their new digital single "Mark of My Sins". While the group is composed of legendary musicians, "Mark of My Sins" proves that Cyhra is no mere supergroup, but instead a band that produces music on par with anything they have previously released. A high bar, but one that they consistently meet. This is the sound of a band leveling up: Massive riffs, stadium-sized hooks, and a chorus that refuses to leave your head. As they approach their 10th anniversary next year, CYHRA have carved out a notable place in the metal scene since their founding in 2016 by Jake E (AMARANTHE Co-Founder) and Jesper Strömblad (THE HALO EFFECT, formerly IN FLAMES). In 2020, guitarist Marcus Sunesson (RONNIE ATKINS, THE CROWN) joined, expanding the line-up. The pandemic pause allowed the band to craft their third album The Vertigo Trigger, released in 2023. The album’s tour brought them back to Finland to open for SMASH INTO PIECES and to headline shows in early 2024. Quietly beginning their fourth album, CYHRA ended the cycle with a Scandinavian tour with EVERGREY, leading into 2025 with two new singles "Superman." and "Skin From Bones".

BEAST IN BLACK and Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo® Join Forces to release new track 'Enter The Behelit' to mark Berserk Crossover

Today marks the epic convergence of three cultural titans: Diablo®, the critically acclaimed franchise that defined the Action RPG genre; acclaimed manga, Berserk; and Finnish heavy metal band, BEAST IN BLACK, who have collaborated to launch an exclusive track 'Enter The Behelit.' Releasing on limited-edition vinyl and worldwide digital distribution, a music video debuts today as well to mark the unleashing of this unholy event.

The crossover event with Berserk – the beloved, classic manga written and illustrated byKentaro Miura – will take place in Diablo® IV and its mobile instillation, Diablo Immortal, beginning May 6 and May 1 respectively. Both Diablo and Berserk explore themes of good versus evil against a backdrop of terrifying darkness, making this crossover a perfect match for fans.

The Maxi Single

The limited-edition maxi single will feature a brand-new song ‘Enter The Behelit’ from BEAST IN BLACK, inspired by Berserk and produced exclusively for the game, as well as remastered versions of fan favourite tracks ‘Die By The Blade’ from the album From Hell With Love, and ‘The Fifth Angel’ from the band’s debut album, Berserker. With many songs taking inspiration from Berserk story and characters, the Finnish heavy metal band's music often reflects the undercurrents of struggle, fighting against overwhelming odds, and battling inner demons – themes that are prevalent in the games of the Diablo franchise.

Two hundred maxi singles have been lathe cut on black and red marbled vinyl and feature artwork from Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal, all created hand in hand the Diablo art team and the Berserk IP holders. The front of the vinyl heroes Diablo IV, while the back features key art from Diablo Immortal. The vinyl also includes a turntable zoetrope slipmat, band stickers, behind the scenes negative photos and concept art from the Diablo IV development team behind the Berserk partnership.

"The essence that swells in boundless volumes from the juxtaposition of light and darkness, angels and demons, good and evil, the carnal and the spiritual, is the key that seamlessly binds together the aesthetics and narratives of Diablo, Berserk and Beast In Black’’, said Anton Kabanen, guitarist and songwriter on BEAST IN BLACK.

‘Enter The Behelit’ is accompanied by a bespoke video from award winning director, Katri Ilona Koppanen, who also directed the music videos for BEAST IN BLACK tracks: 'Moonlight Rendezvous', 'Hardcore', 'Power Of The Beast' and 'One Night In Tokyo'. The exclusive video features an animated trailer, inspired by Diablo and Berserk and incorporates the band’s love of the manga and gothic art of Diablo, bringing the story of 'Enter The Behelit' to life.

Shot in Helsinki, Finland, the music video will also receive a behind the scenes making of video showcassing the collision of the dark worlds of Diablo x Berserk, with the support of Beast in Black.

Berserk Crossover in Diablo Games

Diablo IV Season 8: Belial’s Return, will launch on 29th April and heralds the return of Belial, one of Diablo’s Great Evils, and marks the continuation of Diablo’s dark storytelling in the form of challenging boss fights and even greater spoils.

For the month of May, Diablo players will have the chance to slaughter demons donning iconic Berserk-themed cosmetics. to date and incredible in-game content.

In Diablo IV, this includes the Berserker armour for the Barbarian, Skull Knight skin for the Necromancer, as well as the “Chimimoryo” as an in-game pet. Additional items can also be earned through gameplay or for purchase in the in-game shop.

In Diablo Immortal, players will be able to gear up in Guts’ Berserker armour or Griffith’s incarnated armour, play alongside a Golem as a familiar, and even face off against iconic characters from the Manga series. The crossover includes a boss fight with Nosferatu Zodd, one of the most formidable foes of the Berserk series, an eclipse inspired Survivor’s Bane mini-game and Griffith and Guts inspired cosmetics for every class of the game.

"'BAD DECISIONS' is one of those songs that came from a really honest place. It’s about that part of you that always seems to pick the chaos: quitting the job, running toward the fire, saying the wrong thing at the worst time, but still hoping to be understood. We all have moments where we know we’re messing up, and somehow, we do it anyway. That tension between impulse and consequence is where this track lives.

 

“There’s a bit of irony in the lyrics, but there’s also a lot of truth. It’s not about glorifying screwing up. Rhodes, exclaims “This song is very personal to me as it was written in such a messed up tragic way. It still makes me feel weird when I listen to it or play it. I was on one of those Rock “n” Roll cruise’s and the whole boat was woken up at like 5am with horns blasting and over the intercom they were saying we were in a man

overboard situation. I just remember looking out the window of the cabin and seeing this blinking light out on the stormy water. I thought for sure they got this guy at first but as the minutes kept creeping along it started to become painfully obvious they weren’t finding this guy, and my head started racing as if I was putting myself in this guys point of view. So I grabbed my notebook and just started writing. I mean Normally it takes me some time to write lyrics, especially lyrics. But this song was written in real time as it was all unfolding” I mean nobody at that time really knew the guy jumped, so I couldn’t really comprehend why someone would intentionally jump overboardoff a cruise ship I just thought the guy fell and it really freaked me out. So now there’s a song about it.”

Them Damn Kings has also welcomed New Jersey native Cooper Hughes joining the band as their full time drummer following Ryan Folden’s departure. Cooper and Jef have completed tracking what will become the band’s sophomore album, following up their debut album “Rise Up” which spawned the single “Throw It Away” reaching #4 on the NACC radio charts.

Crafted more intimately and intricately than ever before by internalizing every aspect of the writing process, with Carl Bown [Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps] manning production duties for the first time, the result is a profoundly personal, extraordinarily expansive and punishingly grand display of cathartic craftsmanship.

Within such deep sonic exploration and shared emotional understanding, and despite its bleak outlook on things, Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience' still strives to represent that lingering presence, that hope, that reminds us that this isn't the be-all and end-all of this existence. That things can change for the better, just like we can change for the better with it, and persevering through such separation will bring us back around eventually. We just have to weather the storm and trust in that feeling to pull us through.

To have allowed themselves the time and space to reach this point of comfort and confidence now feels like a starting point for everything that the band will do in the future. Expanding their empire in all corners of the world and delivering their biggest statement of intent to date is the beginning of a whole new chapter in the story of one of the most devastating and dedicated assets to British heavy music.

Chicago alternative rock outfit Evidence of a Struggle releases their sophomore album 'Eddy Derecho' on May 2 via The Glue Factory and The Orchard, offering due pushback against incentivized control by media, government, religion, business, pharma, banking and mass media.

Centred around the musings of multi-instrumentalist W P C Simmons V a.k.a. Rev. Billy Simmons,  Evidence of a Struggle also involves Matt Walker (Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, of1000faces, Garbage, Filter) on drums and synths, with bass contributions by Alan Berliant (Chris Connelly, Mavis Staples, Saint Asonia) and Solomon Walker (Liz Phair, Bryan Adams, Morrissey). 

With recording, mixing and final production by Sanford Parker (Voivod, Russian Circles, Yob, Eyehategod, Wovenhand, Darkthrone), Grammy-nominated sound engineer Chris Gelin (Smashing Pumpkins, Trent Reznor, RZA, Tom Morello, Korn) handled post-production and mastering. Evidence of a Struggle spent most of 2024 weaving a dense tapestry of sonic, musical, lyrical and "visual observations” of what’s happening in our world now, in the past and what may happen in the future. Rooted within the chaos of our world, this album is a loud and thoughtful sonic exploration of our unique ability as a species to harm, destroy, thoughtlessly marginalize, and discard with reckless disregard for anyone or anything outside of our immediate orbit.

Following the lead tracks 'Eddy Derecho' and 'Give Us A Kiss', Evidence of a Struggle has also shared the latest explosive video for 'Le Caution'. The lyrical emphasis for this album is a departure from the 2023 debut eponymous album, which was instrumental with the exception of the final track.

Rev. Billy Simmons explains, "We wanted to utilize more AI-assisted generative video, as some would say — it's a horrible curse, as others would argue it's a surreal blessing. this video is another disturbing observation, a dreamlike looking glass into everything affecting us, traveling within the same currents as the other songs or videos are flowing, such as religion, money, war, inequity, inequality, pain, suffering, anger and, at the end of it all a visual statement of a profound change in our surroundings".

Transforming into a musical chameleon at night, Rev. Billy's day to day entails running Rev. Billy's Chop Shop, a salon with a creative space that regularly showcases artists' work (declared by Chicago Reader as the city's best gallery). The forthcoming 'Eddy Derecho' album is a lyrical departure from Evidence of a Struggle's debut instrumental album.

Rev. Billy previously collaborated with notable artists, such as RCA artist Ké, Urge Overkill, Touch and Go, and major labels like BMG and Universal. In 2020, he returned to music in the midst of lockdown boredom, allowing him a continued creative outlet. Playing every instrument and recording his debut album at The Glue Factorystudio, he then joined forces with Sanford Parker.

'Le Caution' is out now, available from fine digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.  On May 2, The full 'Eddy Defecho' album will be released on vinyl, CD and digitally.

WEDNESDAY 13 Teams Up With Faster Pussycat's Taime Downe for Hard Rocker "No Apologies"

Slaying audiences across North America on his "There's No Such Thing As Monsters" tour celebrating 20 years of Transylvania 90210, WEDNESDAY 13 has just unleashed the biggest surprise in his bag of tricks — his brand-new single "No Apologies," featuring Faster Pussycat's Taime Downe! The track appears on the band's upcoming full-length album, Mid Death Crisis, out April 25 via Napalm Records.

"No Apologies" wastes no time ripping into a heavy rock rager, laced with fiery guitar leads and even more searing lyrics. The fast-romping anthem is an unapologetic exorcism of toxic demons and even more toxic people, and arrives alongside a new music video, also featuring Downe.

WEDNESDAY 13 comments, "This is the most rock n' roll song I've written in years. I wanted to go back to my roots, and my roots are '80s glam. The name at the top of that list was Faster Pussycat, so it made total sense to have Taime Downe guest on this track. Having one of my rock 'n' roll idols alongside me in the studio was an honor. We whipped up a nasty little middle finger salute to ourselves on this one, and the result is 'No Apologies.'"

WEDNESDAY 13 dubs the album as a fun, campy, "leave-your-brain-at-the-door" rager and a true return to his hard-rocking roots! Produced by guitarist Alex Kane (Life, Sex & Death, Enuff Z'Nuff, Antiproduct) and mixed by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Prong, DevilDriver) the album oozes infectious '80s sleaze metal energy.

Eerie introductory track "There's No Such Thing As Monsters" vibrates with electricity before industrial-tinged "Decease and Desist" kicks in full blast. WEDNESDAY 13’s trademark crooning wastes no time entering the fold as he careens through the high-octane horror anthem. First single "When the Devil Commands" instantly proves itself as a stunner with an unforgettable hook, charging arena rock-laden drum production and chugging guitars, before tracks like "Rotting Away" and "Blood Storm" ensnare with metallic goth-punk energy that will have crowds moving wall to wall. Featuring Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe on guest vocals, standout heavy rocker "No Apologies" is a fast-romping exorcism of toxic demons, while the triumphant mini-murder ballad "Decapitation" riles up listeners with a catchy lead riff before making a hard left into a theatrical bridge straight out of a sinister '60s sock hop!
