Southern California punk rockers INFAMOUS STIFFS have released the single and video "No Static" taken from their upcoming six song EP titled “The Ornery Six”, an attitude that has remained consistent with the band since their first release. Their mix of good ol’ fashion Punk Rock n Roll flares with gruffness and an irritable disposition that is reflected in this new batch of tunes. CRAZY LIXX Share Track "Who Said Rock N' Roll Is Dead" + Unofficial Soundtrack Music Video

Swedish hard rockers CRAZY LIXX are thrilled to release their new studio album 'Thrill Of The Bite', available via Frontiers Music Srl.

To celebrate this release, they have shared the new track “Who Said Rock N' Roll Is Dead,”also out now, alongside an unofficial soundtrack music video, made with clips from the cult classic 1992 comedy film “Wayne's World” starring Mike Meyers, Tia Carrere and Dana Carvey (and featuring a cameo by rock legend Alice Cooper).



On the focus track, vocalist Danny Rexon comments:

“I'm so excited to finally have the album out and this track right here is one I've been dying for you guys to hear. It was close to being a single but in the end we decided to make it the album release day focus track instead. You know, a certain legendary bass player from a certain world-famous rock band recently said that 'rock n' roll is dead' but I'm not sure I agree. Why don't we just let you guys listen and decide for yourselves - Is rock n' roll really dead or is it still in fact alive and kicking?”

Since the latest studio album release with 'Street Lethal' back in the winter of 2021, fans have been eager to hear new CRAZY LIXX material, and even though the compilation album 'Two Shots At Glory' (2024) gave the listeners some covers, fresh takes on old songs and a couple of new tracks, this next studio album is what they have all been dying to hear. 

'Thrill Of The Bite' promises to elevate CRAZY LIXX’s rock music to new heights. The Dead Daisies release their latest single “Love That’ll Never Be” today. The song came together while the band was working on songs for what became their latest album “Light ‘Em Up”. John and Marti Frederiksen had started working on the track with a future Corabi solo record in mind but decided to throw it into the mix for the band to consider. Everyone really liked it and after a few elements were trimmed off and Doug toughened up some of the guitar parts, they all really loved how it came out!!

Dela Kay Reflects on Love and Loss in New Single “Anybody Else”

Alt-Pop artist, Dela Kay, unveils her latest single, "Anybody Else," a heart-wrenching ballad that captures the bittersweet nostalgia of lost love. Written October of last year in Nick Cozine’s East Nashville studio, the song was born out of deep reflection and raw emotion, making it one of Dela Kay’s most vulnerable releases to date.

The track was co-written by Dela Kay, Nick Cozine, and Whitney Fenimore—the same trio behind her previous single, "Remedy." "As soon as the three of us got together, we knew we were going to write a ballad," shares Dela Kay. "I was still processing a

painful breakup just a few months before, and with the Halloween spookiness looming in the air that day, nostalgia was all around us. We started to walk down memory lane with my past relationship, coming up with lyrics detailing my first date, then letting the current reality hit when writing the chorus."

Nick Cozine first introduced the "any anybody else" hook, which instantly resonated with the team. "Whitney and I loved it and knew we wanted to keep it," Dela Kay recalls. "With both Nick and Whitney rooted in the folk/indie scene, the melodies we developed felt so organic and real to all of us. Sometimes when you're speaking directly from the heart, things flow super easily, and they definitely did that day."

In an unconventional move, the final vocal in "Anybody Else" is actually Dela Kay’s original scratch vocal from the writing session. "We loved it so much, we kept all of it—it’s the same vocal you hear in the final track!" she reveals.

Sonically, "Anybody Else" evokes the drama and intensity of early 2000s romance films. "It’s kind of giving ‘A Cinderella Story’ when Chad Michael Murray runs up on the bleachers in the rain to kiss Hilary Duff after the football game," Dela Kay explains. "We wanted the verses to feel bare, with acoustics leading the track alongside strings, but then have the choruses come in strong with booming drums and electric guitar swells—absolutely wrecking our hearts."

At its core, "Anybody Else" explores the complexity of love and heartbreak, offering both understanding and vulnerability. "The second verse acknowledges their past and offers reassurance that I’m strong enough to handle their pain," Dela Kay says. "And as painful as it was in the moment writing this song, I have peace looking back. Even though the relationship didn’t work out, knowing my heart has the capacity to love that deeply—despite the pain—is something to be hopeful for in my future."

Billy Morrison and Ozzy Osbourne release Epic New Single! ​

On the heels of the tremendous success of The Morrison Project and #1 song "Crack Cocaine", rock guitarist Billy Morrison and Ozzy Osbourne release an epic new single "Gods of Rock N Roll" today, Valentine's Day,  through TLG|ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group. Fans got their first listen when Ozzy's Boneyard on Sirius XM premiered the song on January 17th, and now the song is already a Top 20 Billboard Mainstream Rock hit coming in at #18 this week!!

“Ozzy and I have breathed new life into what we always felt was a huge song. GODS OF ROCK N ROLL was written ten years ago in a South American hotel room, but with this re-recording we both feel we have finally made the song what it was always meant to be - a huge emotive ballad," says Morrison.
 

He adds, “A huge portion of the song was completely re-recorded, the 61 piece Budapest Scoring Orchestra recorded the orchestral score composed by Fred Coury, and then the John Burroughs High School choir were added. Barry Pointer had the unenviable task of mixing 132 tracks and he did an incredible job. The end result is what happens when Ozzy Osbourne makes some suggestions, and Billy Morrison listens!”

Ozzy told Kerrang!, “Billy and I wrote GODS OF ROCK N ROLL together in a hotel room while I was touring in South America about 10 years ago.  This re-recorded version of the song finally has all the bells and whistles.  I told Billy then that it needed an orchestra and a choir, but it took 10 FUCKING YEARS for him to listen to me."

Austin artist Claude9 shares groovy synth-laced single 'Clouds So Low', teasing 'Clouds of Love' album

Austin-based electronic-synthpop artist Claude9 presents 'Clouds So Low', the soulful first single from his forthcoming 'Chords of Love' album, slated for release on March 28 via indie imprint New Human Music. This chill feel-good offering tastefully blends Enoesque ambient music and downtempo trip-hop.

Encapsulating the dreamy, rhythmic energy that defines much of the album, 'Clouds So Low' serves as a perfect introduction to this relaxing 9-track sonic journey. Claude9 also offers a newly-recorded mini-live set a sneak-peak of 'Chords of Love'.

"'Clouds So Low' is a funky, breakbeat-driven downtempo track that was inspired by the surreal low-hanging clouds I encountered during a drive to the studio for the song’s first session. Combining vocoder effects with soulful live vocals and melodic lines from my electric melodica, the track offers a playful and atmospheric vibe. With its lighthearted energy, it evokes a sense of wonder, reminiscent of The Orb’s iconic 'Little Fluffy Clouds'," says Claude9.

"This was the first track I began for this album, originally envisioned as a collaborative project with my friend Alec Ash. However, shortly after the first session, COVID hit, and the album evolved into a solo endeavor. The inspiration for this track came from my deep love of downtempo trip-hop acts like Massive Attack and The Orb."

Claude9 has been involved in the Austin music scene for several decades, both as a live performer and recording artist. As a keyboard player and singer, he has worked with Reggae acts Pressure, the Killer Bees, and Raggamassive, cutting his teeth to become a sought-after keyboard player. From there, he joined forces with hiphop-funk act Afrofreque, Supercreeps and Hail Marley.

Emerging in the late 90s as one of Austin's first electronic producers, Claude9 was involved in several well-received House music collaborations in the early 2000s. His background as a live musician brought authenticity to the dub and funk elements in his electronic compositions and, more recently, to his
collaboration with Noëlle Hampton (the Belle Sounds) and Ken Christensen (East Coast Boogiemen) in synth pop band XANIMAL.

"The lyrics for 'Clouds So Low' were sparked by a vivid moment on my drive to Lockhart, TX, for that initial session. The clouds that day hung incredibly low in the sky, and as I crossed a high overpass, it felt as though they were close enough to touch. I found myself imagining stepping out of the car and walking on them—a whimsical thought that became the core idea for the song," says Claude9.

"I already had the breakbeats I wanted to use, and once I arrived at the studio, the rest of the track came together surprisingly quickly. It turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned, which is a rare occurrence for any artist. The track brings together many of my favorite elements: crisp breakbeats, lush pads, a heavy bass synth, melodica melodies, and a blend of vocoder and “real” vocals."

As a producer at Claude9 Studios, Claude continues to produce and record internationally recognized music in the House and Downtempo genres, while still pushing limits and being an influential member of the ever changing Austin music community.

'Clouds So Low' is out everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. Now available for pre-order, the 'Chords of Love' album will be released - on vinyl and digitally - on March 28.

"The basic concept and lyrics were created years ago after a show I played at The Whisky A Go Go. As I walked down Sunset Blvd reflecting on the night and in general the many highs and lows of my time in Los Angeles, I knew I needed to write down the stream of thoughts I was having in that moment and cultivate them into a song. When I got home, I began writing and the story was told. It took a very long time, but I finally found an instrumental that was perfect for what I was feeling that night and 'So Many Devils' came to fruition," says Chris Luca, the band's vocalist.

Lead singer Lesli Sanders talked about the story behind the song, "The song, although portrayed in the video as if I am singing to the girl as that is a lot easier to portray is actually about learning to love oneself. It's about believing in yourself having the courage to stand up for what you believe in and being yourself."

Lesli goes on to talk about making this video, "Since all the players in Prophets Of Addiction live all over the country it takes a creative thought process to accomplish these videos. I had so many ideas and concepts, although the ideas were hard to accomplish.  In the end, I hope you all enjoy this little story set to the song "Walk the World."

P.OD. Drop Collab Version of "I Won't Bow Down" Feat. Andrés Giménez

Platinum selling superstars P.O.D. have revealed a fresh take on their hit single "I WON'T BOW DOWN," with a collaboration with singer and guitarist Andrés Giménez of Argentinian metal band A.N.I.M.A.L.

The original is taken from their most recent studio album, 2024's VERITAS.

"I'm very happy to have received this wonderful invitation about making a new English/Spanish version. It's really fantastic,” says Andrés. "P.O.D. and A.N.I.M.A.L together are pure brotherhood. I have a truthful respect, admiration and appreciation for P.O.D."

Giménez co-founded A.N.I.M.A.L., who exploded out of the Buenos Aires scene with their blend of groove and thrash metal in the 1990s. They gained huge success selling out shows in Argentina and touring across Latin and North America as well as Europe, playing with the likes of Pantera, Bad Religion, Megadeth, Sepultera, and Slipknot as well as taking part of the legendary 2000 Warped Tour alongside Green Day, No Doubt, NOFX, and Papa Roach. They released eight studio albums, including 1998's Poder Latino which was produced by Max Cavelera and featured Robert Trujillo, Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory), and Jimmy DeGrasso (Megadeth/Suicidal Tendencies/Ozzy Osbourne).

The tour will kick off on March 22 with a sold-out show at the Sofia Arena in Bulgaria and will then call through Romania (Bucharest), Hungary (Budapest), Poland (Gliwice), Austria (Vienna), Croatia (Zagreb), Czech Republic (Prague), Germany (Munich, Berlin, Offenbach), U.K. (London), Belgium (Brussels), and will finish with two shows in Germany, Hamburg, and finally April 12 at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.

Talking about the tour, singer Sonny Sandoval says, "We are so excited to return back to Europe and celebrate our latest record VERITAS with our friends Godsmack and Drowning Pool. We know this will be the rock 'n' roll show to remember.”
 
In May last year, P.O.D. released their 11th album VERITAS via Mascot Records. The album was a Top 10 hit across the U.S. Billboard Current Hard Rock, Current Rock, and Current Alternative album charts, and has already surpassed 48 million streams.
 
The band has released several singles from the album including "DROP," "AFRAID TO DIE," "I GOT THAT," and  "I WON'T BOW DOWN."

OF LIMBO Release Ode To Gaslighting "Joke's On You"

Long Beach, CA based Rockers OF LIMBO have released their new single “Joke’s On You”, an acoustic ode to gaslighting in relationships.  It’s the first track from their upcoming “Unplugged” LP, which will be released this fall.

The song was self-produced and recorded at the band’s home studio in Long Beach.  The opening guitar line starts out with a slinky and contemplative tone and builds into righteous, smoldering anger driven by hand claps and intense, plaintive vocals. 

The band’s Jake Davies says “Joke’s On You’ is about recognizing gaslighting techniques in a relationship.  You see the person feigning tears and storming off expecting you to chase after them.  Most of us are all too familiar with these kinds of manipulative tactics by now. But when you first start to really recognize it, it’s a relief and kind of empowering. Because you realize it’s not you… It’s all them.” 

The band shot the video for “Joke’s On You” entirely on an IPhone 14 at a park next to their mom’s house in Australia, armed with nothing but a $20 LED from Amazon and a six pack of tall boys. Jake explains “We filmed this in the moment, just going with the flow.  The red and blue color overlays are meant to be a representation of being two faced.”

The band has announced their first 2 tour dates in California, and will be playing a more extensive tour in support of the new music this summer. The band plans on playing live shows through the rest of 2025 into 2026.

Your Spirit Dies announce debut album

South Carolina metal/hardcore outfit YOUR SPIRIT DIES will unleash their My Gnawing Pains Will Never Rest debut full-length on May 2nd via their new label home of MNRK Heavy. Today the band presents their first single, “In The Depths Of Grief,” and album preorders.

Small towns across America are home to countless untold stories, and Columbia, the state capital of South Carolina, is no exception. With a population just over 140K, this city may be small, but it’s big on spirit. YOUR SPIRIT DIES, hailing from this very place, channels that humble yet fierce energy, embodying an underdog work ethic and an unstoppable fire. After buzzing nationwide and earning acclaim from the likes of Brooklyn Vegan, No Echo, and more, the group shares their story on My Gnawing Pains Will Never Rest.

“The record encapsulates every single thing we’re about,” notes vocalist Brandon Byars. “We’re five people who were born in small towns in the South. We were never supposed to leave these places; we were ‘supposed’ to live and die here. For us, the simple fact we’re doing this is huge. We tried to craft an album that stands on its own, and we busted our asses to make it as different as we possibly could.”

Chicago's Evidence of a Struggle reveals 'Eddy Derecho', first offering from sophomore album

Chicago-based outfit Evidence of a Struggle presents their new single 'Eddy Derecho', the first offering from their sophomore album by the same name, which will be released on May 9 via The Glue Factory and The Orchard.

Centred around the musings of multi-instrumentalist W P C Simmons V a.k.a. Rev. Billy Simmons,  Evidence of a Struggle has grown since releasing their 2023 eponymous album to also involve Matt Walker (Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, of1000faces, Garbage, Filter) on drums, synths and bass, and John Airo, who provides visual art for the projects.

Evidence of a Struggle creates lush, cinematic, beautiful and sometimes chaotic compositions. In creating this album, Evidence of a Struggle spent most of 2024 weaving a dense tapestry of sonic, musical, lyrical and visual ”observations” of what’s happening in our world now, what’s happened in the past, and what may happen in the future.

”The music and videos we’ve created for this record have really helped us make sense - personally and as a collective - of what’s going on in our world, how it’s effecting and affecting everyone regardless of their race, religion, color, ability or socioeconomic standing," says Rev. Billy.

"Maybe our music can help us recognize a better way to approach the idiocy happening in this world.  The wars, inequity, inequality, pain, suffering, anger, maybe it can help everyone else really look at themselves a little closer and not become part of the problem"

The new album also sees contributions from several other notable artists, including bassist Alan Berliant (Chris Connelly, Mavis Staples, Saint Asonia) and Solomon Walker (Liz Phair, Bryan Adams, Morrissey, Eastern Shadows, Year of the Rabbit)with Grammy-nominated sound engineer Chris Gelin (Smashing Pumpkins, Trent Reznor, RZA, Tom Morello, Korn) engaged in mastering and post-production, including in-studio assistance at The Glue Factory studio.

'Eddy Deracho' is a lyrical departure from Evidence of a Struggle's debut instrumental album. Rooted honestly within the chaos of our world, it is a loud and thoughtful sonic exploration of our unique ability as a species to harm, destroy, thoughtlessly marginalize, and discard with reckless disregard for anyone or anything outside of our immediate orbit.

"This record brings 13 musical stories of sonic solidarity, woven out of an unfortunate reality and understanding that Evidence of a Struggle is humbly presenting to encourage each one of you again to wake up, look in the mirror, and find a way to fix what we’re still fucking up," says Rev. Billy.

Transforming into a musical chameleon at night, Rev. Billy's day to day entails running Rev. Billy's Chop Shop, a salon with a creative space that regularly showcases artists' work (declared by Chicago Reader as the city's best gallery).

Earlier in his journey, Rev. Billy collaborated with RCA artist Ké and artists (like Urge Overkill) on Touch and Go, and other majors like BMG and Universal. In 2020, he returned to music in the midst of lockdown boredom, allowing him a continued creative outlet. Playing every instrument and recording his debut album at The Glue Factorystudio, he joined forces with renowned sound engineer Sanford Parker (Voivod, Russian Circles, Yob, Eyehategod, Wovenhand, Darkthrone) for additional production, recording and mastering.

As of February 12, 'Eddy Derecho' is available from fine digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.  The full album will be released on vinyl and CD, as well as digitally, on May 9.

The Callous Daoboys Announce New Album 'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven' out May 16 (via MNRK Heavy)

Atlanta, GA sextet The Callous Daoboys cordially invites you to The Museum of Failure, a sonic exploration of the band's newly announced album 'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven', with a grand opening date of May 16 (via MNRK Heavy).'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven' is the follow-up to the band's 2022 critically acclaimed full-length 'Celebrity Therapist' and 2023 EP 'God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys', nominated for 'Best Heavy Record' in the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) Libera Awards 2024. In their most personal album yet, listeners are welcomed 300 years into the future to such a place where mankind's farcical attempts at immortalizing greatness are on full display, including each of the 13 tracks on the album. However, such artifacts beg the question whether these were simply ahead of their time, or rightfully discarded by patrons?

Today's glimpse inside reveals the first exhibit, "Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog", along with the official cinematic music video. When asked about the inspiration behind the forthcoming album, vocalist Carson Pace shared:

“The album is an artifact that’s been preserved, and hundreds of years in the future, you’re listening to this album in the museum. It’s a known failure, but the narrative is ‘if it survives forever, is it truly a failure?'

“Everything is very singular and personal. I’m not making an album commenting on anything societal or political this time, this is an album just for me. It’s every emotion I’ve felt and sobering thought since 2021. I can only make this album now, not in three years when I’m thirty, not ten years ago when I was seventeen. This is the snapshot of 24-27. A scrapbook of trial and error, or better yet, a Museum of Failure.”

Speaking about "Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog", Pace commented:

“We would like to proudly present our first preview of the 'I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven' collection, ahead of its full release. These two pieces do not represent a thesis or mission statement of the collection, but rather two extremities. If you’re a fan of us being a rock band, I have good news for you. If you’re a fan of us being a chaotic metalcore band, I have GREAT news for you. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy.”

PERFECT PLAN Shares New Single "All Night" + Music Video!

PERFECT PLAN is pleased to share a new single, “All Night”, taken from their upcoming studio album, 'Heart Of A Lion,' set for release on February 28, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. Its accompanying lyric video is available below.

Lead singer Kent Hilli describes the new single and the story that inspired it:

“'All Night' is about the guy on the cover art of our album, a fictional story I made up with some personal experiences in the mix. He is a dreamer and a musician; he fails in life with everything he does, loses his job and then his love and girlfriend, gets dumped and gets depressed, fights his way back from being broke and then becomes a successful singer in a rock band.

“His girlfriend then wants him back, but the betrayal from her was too big, so he rejects her and moves on, meets someone new, but can't forget her and, after a few years, they meet again during one night”, he adds. “His girlfriend hasn't been able to move on either and realized that she really loved him... It took them 'all night' but finally they find forgiveness and reconciliation with a happy ending."

Talking about the album, he states:

“The new album is once again showcasing that we have developed and matured as a band in terms of songwriting and production. The melodies, riffs, and hooks that we have created on this album are, overall, the best we’ve done so far. I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished. Although our main influences like Survivor, Foreigner, Europe, Whitesnakeare still shining through, there’s that unmistakable PERFECT PLAN sound that is the driving center of it all. And I think we have strengthened that sound and identity."

“With 'Brace For Impact' we wanted to discover a new heavier and 'in your face' sound but on this album we are back to the sound of the first 2 albums, with more keyboards and bigger sound taking you back to the 80’s with a modern touch and feel. On this album, we once again teamed up with Mårten Eriksson, whom we worked with on 'Time For A Miracle'”, Hilli adds. 

“Mårten brought his extreme talent to the songs both co-producing with us and also did the mixing. Mårtens long experience as both songwriter and producer in the pop-industry brought so much to the table and the end result is simply fantastic. If you liked our previous albums, you are gonna love 'Heart Of A Lion!'."

PERFECT PLAN’s fourth studio album, 'Heart Of A Lion' marks the culmination of the band’s musical production to date. Over the course of their first trilogy of albums, 'All Rise', 'Time For A Miracle' and 'Brace for Impact', the Swedes have quickly established themselves as a new gold standard in not only the Scandinavian melodic rock genre, but the melodic rock genre as a whole.

Kent Hilli is a one of a kind singer that gained world reputation almost from the start. His class, range, tone and heartfelt expression caught the attention of his heroes Giant, who picked him to sing on their latest album 'Shifting Time', and saw Kent releasing 2 solo albums in 2021 ('The Rumble') and 2023 ('Nothing Left To Lose').

Completing the line up, Rolf Nordström, guitarist extraordinaire, Mats Byström, the music mastermind who plays bass and form a solid, rock hard base with drummer Fredrik Forsberg. The subtle textures, so important in AOR, come from Leif Ehlin’s keyboards.

'Heart Of A Lion' is a powerful statement from the band offering the absolute best songwriting and production ever: a strong offering, with roots very well planted in the 80’s AOR sound. Produced by the band in collaboration with Mårten Eriksson, the band was determined to top the musical results they reached until now and took a few months – from the end of 2024 – to come out with the right musical material.
