Pistols at Dawn Drop Cover of "Last Christmas"

Atlanta foursome PISTOLS AT DAWN — Adam Jaffe [drums], Will James [lead guitar], Gabriel Cuevas [bass], and Jon Sookdew Sing [lead vocals] — have released their gorgeous, lilting, and sonically layered cover of WHAM's holiday classic "Last Christmas."

The band also shared the lyric video for the festive track.

Raise a mug of eggnog or mint hot chocolate, eat some homemade cookies, and watch it below.

"'Last Christmas' is definitely the one that stood out to us amongst the Christmas staples, and we wanted to make our own version of this beloved classic," shares the band. "But we didn't just want to make a cut and paste cover. We wanted to make a true Pistols at Dawn version, and between Jon's intimate vocal performance and Will's signature guitar playing, we were able to create a song that would make George Michael proud... With its beautiful string arrangement, this will be a welcome addition to all gatherings around the fireplace surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones for generations to come."

It follows the new single "Obsession." Watch the lyric video here. It also follows the band's hit track "Not Sorry," which is working its way up the Active Rock radio airplay charts since it's a banger.

The band has also booked appearances at upcoming radio holiday shows. Those are listed below.

12/3 — KIBZ The Blaze Kampout for Kids — Lincoln, NE
12/5 — KQRA Q102.1 Low-Dough Holiday Show — Springfield, MO

Pistols At Dawn craft the kind of rock music that doesn't just reach the rafters; it breaks through the ceiling. Sky-high hooks stretch into the heavens, a powerful low-end rumbles without apology, and riffs roar at all the right moments. Thus far, the Atlanta band have emerged as a phenomenon. They've amassed nearly 10 million global streams and views, infiltrated the Billboard and Mediabase Top 40 Active Rock charts, earned acclaim from American SongwriterBrave Words, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and embarked upon global tours alongside heavy-hitters such as Alter Bridge, Mammoth WVH, and Fozzy, to name a few. The quartet canvased the world throughout 2022 and 2023. Upon returning stateside, they opted to decamp to Los Angeles in order to assemble new material. Stayed tuned for more, because Pistols at Dawn are leveling up.

SVEN GALI UNLEASHES HEAVY COVER OF RED RIDER'S "LUNATIC FRINGE"

Canadian heavy rock legends Sven Gali have released a powerful cover of Red Rider's 1981 classic "Lunatic Fringe," bringing a fresh, hard-hitting intensity to the iconic track. Known for their energetic performances and gritty sound, Sven Gali reimagines the song with a heavier edge, blending driving guitar riffs and thunderous drums with the same raw emotion that made the original a timeless anthem. The video, produced in 2024, captures the band's high-octane spirit while paying homage to the song’s impactful and dark message.

With their heavy twist, Sven Gali reintroduces "Lunatic Fringe" to a new generation of listeners, adding their signature intensity to this legendary piece of Canadian rock history.

Through their fierce and impassioned cover, the band captures the timeless urgency of the song's message while making it unmistakably their own.

It is one in a line of heavy versions of classic Canadian songs the band will record in the near future.

Sven Gali's trademark blend of heavy riffs, gritty vocals, and anthemic melodies span decades. Cutting their teeth in the bar circuit of Southern Ontario, Canada in the late 80’s, Sven Gali’s live show was a full on circus of sex, drugs and rock n’ roll.

Emerging with a record deal with BMG, Sven Gali released their debut self-titled release in 1992. From the first chord of “Under The Influence” Sven Gali made their mark. Follow up singles “Tie Dyed Skies” and “In My Garden” paved the way for the ballad number 6 CanCon song of 1993 that also went Top 10 nationwide, “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore.”

As the album went Gold, Sven Gali won the MuchMusic Best Metal Video Award in 1993 for “Under The Influence” and was nominated for two Junos. With a worldwide release, Sven Gali toured with the likes of Def Leppard, Foreigner and April Wine.

Sven Gali’s follow-up, Inwire, was partly recorded in in Seattle with producer Kelly Gray and saw the band take on a more alternative experimental tone. The band broke up soon after the album’s release and played sporadic shows before solidifying a new lineup with original members Dave Wanless (vocals), Andy Frank (guitar) and TT (bass) bringing in guitarist Sean Williamson and drummer Dan Fila from former BMG labelmates Varga.

Sven Gali’s latest full album, Bombs And Battlescars, released in 2024, combines the best of both Sven Gali eras. The band continues to release new music and tour internationally.

Thoughts in the Mind of God Release New Single "Wicked" + Music Video

The dynamic musical duo, thoughts in the mind of god, comprised of Landon Tewers (The Plot in You) and David Gunn (KING 810), has released their highly anticipated new single, "Wicked." The single is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Fans of both The Plot in You and KING 810 will recognize the signature elements of each artist’s style while experiencing something entirely unique to thoughts in the mind of god.

There amongst these kind of men were two of the most peculiar thoughts God had on that day & when these peculiar thoughts begin to think their own thoughts well that is precisely where we find ourselves now."

Jason Charles Miller Releases Deep Purple-Inspired “I Need A Rescue” Video

Jason Charles Miller has released his official music video for “I Need A Rescue,” the second video from his new album ‘Knives In The Dark.’ The song and video features guest keyboardist and vocalist Ellis Hall, best known for his work with Tower Of Power, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Patti LaBelle, to name just a few.

“The song ‘I Need a Rescue’ accidentally became a tribute to Deep Purple – Mark 3 in particular, the David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes lineup that did the albums ‘Burn’ and ‘Stormbringer’,” Miller says of the track. “I’ve often said that ‘Burn’ has been one of the most influential albums in my life, and I think it’s one of the best rock albums in history, period! Once Gary [Potter, guitarist] came up with the riff for ‘Rescue,’ the song basically wrote itself. I had become friendly with Ellis Hall through knowing his family, and he’s an absolute legend.  What he added to the recording, with his B3 playing and amazing vocals, really took it over the top.”

“I wanted to have a video where we are all just jamming the song, really vibing with it, so having my live band be in the video along with Ellis was super important to me,” he continues of the video itself. “Our director Andrew Fogel found the perfect location, making us the ultimate ‘garage band.’  Talk about going back to your roots! You’ll notice a purple tinge to the entire video, as an easter egg and a nod to the biggest influencers of the song!”

WATCH THE “I NEED A RESCUE” MUSIC VIDEO BELOW:

Released this summer on One Opportunity Records, ‘Knives In The Dark’ will be Miller’s first solo album to see physical release in Japan, where it drops November 22 via a joint partnership with Ward Records. The Japanese CD features Miller’s acoustic cover of Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years” as a bonus track.

Spin hailed Miller’s “gritty rock and country hybrid” and named him one of “10 Emerging Artists Shaping the Future of Sound” in a November feature, with Rolling Stone, Forbes, and even Nerdist and Comic Book Resources coming on board to feature the music and gaming crossover’s latest musical campaign.

Pop Evil Share "Deathwalk" Video

Modern rock powerhouse POP EVIL follow their scorching single "What Remains" with new, dark track "Deathwalk," produced by Zach Jones & KJ Strock.

The band shared the cinematic music video, directed by Sam Shapiro. Fans will plunge into the dark, fragmented landscape of lead singer Leigh Kakaty's psyche, unraveling the thin line between self-identity and survival. Kakaty confronts existential questions of his own mortality and legacy.

Watch it below

"We are the accused, the guilty, the damned," the singer says about the harrowing track. "At the end of our 'Deathwalk,' judgment awaits. Are you at peace with what you will leave behind?"

Pop Evil returned in August by showcasing their new sound with single "What Remains." It was produced by Wage War's Cody Quistad and serves as the dawn of a new era for Pop Evil, which the band promises will be its most sonically heavy. "What Remains" currently sits at No. 8 on the Mainstream Active Rock Chart.

The six-time RIAA gold-certified band, plus newly platinum-certified track, "Torn to Pieces," is gearing up for its forthcoming eighth studio album, set for release in Spring 2025.

Pop Evil are currently finishing up the final dates of The Animal Instinct Tour with Bad Wolves. Sierra Pilot and Oni are serving as support. All remaining tour dates are below. Get tickets here

Kakaty previously confirmed the band’s new lineup, saying, "We are also proud to officially announce the newest member of the Pop Evil lineup — Blake Allison." Allison is replacing departed member Hayley Cramer on drums, joining Kakaty and fellow bandmates, guitarists Dave Grahs and Nick Fuelling, and bassist Joey "Chicago" Walser.

Pop Evil first rose to international prominence with debut album Lipstick on the Mirror, featuring RIAA Certified Gold Single "100 in a 55." After Kakaty famously tore up the band's major label contract onstage, Pop Evil signed with MNRK Heavy (formerly eOne Music). 2011's War of Angels debuted in the Top 10 of the Rock Albums chart and produced three Top 10 singles.

The band's 2013 album Onyx put them in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 for the first time and boasted three consecutive No.1 rock songs, two RIAA Gold Singles, and one Platinum Single with "Torn to Pieces." Pop Evil's next release, Up, was the No.1 Independent Album in America and made it to #25 on the Billboard 200. It featured several Top 5 rock songs and a chart-topper with "Footsteps," which also went Gold.

Pop Evil's 2018 self-titled set included the No.1 hit and newly certified Gold single "Waking Lions" and two other Top 10 hits. 2020's Versatile, meanwhile, scored two No.1 rock songs: "Breathe Again" and "Survivor." In 2023, the band released its seventh studio album Skeletons, which spawned their eighth and ninth No.1 singles: "Eye of the Storm" and "Skeletons."

THORNHILL Take An Intense Dive IntoThe Liminal Space Between Desire and Danger With New Single "nerv"

Alternative metal visionaries Thornhill have unveiled their latest single, “nerv”, an emotionally charged exploration of love’s dual nature—enticing yet perilous. Out now on UNFD, the track opens with haunting electronics and a jaggedly heavy riff, the track then explodes into maelstrom of nu-metal-esque fury before blossoming into a glorious, almost ethereal chorus, reminiscent of early Deftones releases. “nerv” is indeed a testament to Thornhill’s unyielding creative spirit and a bonafide statement of intent for dawning of a new era for the band. Fans can stream “nerv HERE and watch the self-directed music video below.

In “nerv”, Thornhill deliver a soundscape that teeters on the edge of vulnerability and aggression. Capturing the turmoil of attraction and the instinct for self-preservation. This thematic exploration is set against relentless instrumentation that climaxes into an explosive release, showcasing the band’s skill in balancing melodic introspection with sheer metal power. Reflecting on the meaning behind the song, the band shared:

“With ‘nerv’, we wanted to explore the themes of a dangerous relationship through conflicting and contrasting images of desire and danger. The lyrics reflect the tension between longing and the need for self-preservation, illustrating how intimacy can be both alluring and risky. This tension captures the complexity of love, showing how beauty and peril intertwine in an emotionally intense dance.

Thornhill have built a reputation for unparalleled artistry and commitment to their craft. ‘nerv’ further solidifies their position as one of the most exciting acts in modern music, highly revered by their peers and very possibly one of your favourite bands' favourite bands. Thornhill's vision reaches far beyond their almost-transcendental style of heavy; they are a band deeply committed to their unique visual identity and hands-on creative approach. From writing and directing their music videos to the custom-made garments and exclusive merch drops inspired by their music videos and on-stage aesthetics, sold through their band-run store, Thornhill Thread Collective, the band infuses each project with their signature cinematic flair. SImply put, Thornhill are a multifaceted, hyper-creative, uber-talented band who seamlessly blend sound, fashion, and visual storytelling, into a unique offering that strongly resembles the future of heavy music.

Stay tuned for more coming from Thornhill soon.

FLAT BLACK Share Live "A Bit of Lightning" Video

Guitarist Jason Hook introduced his new band FLAT BLACK last year. The former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist teamed up with a trio of young and talented musicians and signed with Fearless Records. Today, the band is thrilled to announce its debut album Dark Side of the Brain arrived in the summer.  The album was produced by Hook and Chris Collier (Korn), and recorded at both Hook's home studio and The Hideout. Get it here or here

The band shared a live video for "A Bit of Lightning." Watch it below.

"We wanted to put together a 'life on tour'-themed video for our single 'A Bit of Lightning," Hook says. "The video features candid scenes from our recent touring cycle. To me, this video gives the viewer a snapshot of what our life looks like on the road. I can tell you, if it looks like we're having fun, it's authentic."

Fresh off a fall tour with Godsmack, this video captures Flat Black in their natural habitat. It will grab you by the nape of your neck and drop you right into the pit at a Flat Black show! It also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the band interacting with fans and each other. If you ever wanted a bird's eye view into life with Flat Black, this video is it!

ABOUT FLAT BLACK:
"I feel like FLAT BLACK is a secret I've been keeping for three years," Hook says. "It's finally time to unleash this band on the world. I'm grateful to Sully from Godsmack for giving us the chance to get out on the road and play for such an amazing group of fans."

Despite having reached a commercial summit with his prior band, thanks to multiple platinum certifications, sold-out arena shows, and a string of No. 1 singles, Hook remains as hungry for musical blood and thunder as the day he first picked up a guitar at the age of six. He is eager to not only replicate but to surpass his past successes with his new band.

Having left his prior band in February 2020, which was right before COVID-19 put the entire world on pause, Hook wanted to assume creative control and let his musical free spirit soar in a project that was truly his. He opted to gamble on himself. With great risk comes great reward and the decision to form FLAT BLACK clearly worked out in his favor.

"As a musician, I crave freedom and I wasn't ready to stop creating," Hook shares.

"Life is short," he continues. "We all want to feel satisfied and happy with what we are trying to accomplish in life."

The pandemic shutdown allowed him the opportunity to assemble the right musicians and carefully craft their debut album. FLAT BLACK are armed with an arsenal of riffs that'll rattle your teeth loose from your gums, stadium-sized hooks, arena-ready anthems, and choruses that are guaranteed to touch a nerve. All of those factors combined make FLAT BLACK poised for success.

The origin stories of the rest of the players are indicative of a lifelong love of music and plenty of road-worn experience. The desire to play courses through their veins and propels them forward, which is why they all meshed so well with Hook.

FLAT BLACK ARE:
Jason Hook — Guitar
Wes Horton — Vocals
Rob Pierce — Drums
Nicholas Diltz — Bass

Defeated Sanity Return to Brutality on 'Chronicles of Lunacy'

No band has flipped death metal on its deformed head like Defeated Sanity. The band's uniquely potent concoction of punishing technical proficiency and jazz-infused chaos has delighted metalheads from their familial beginnings in Berlin to Maryland Deathfest and India. Now, after breaking onto the Billboard charts with their last album, these underground champions are returning to the brutal slamming that cemented their legacy.

"Chronicles of Lunacy is not only a must buy", writes New Noise. "It's one of the top death metal records of 2024. All hail Defeated Sanity".

Chronicles of Lunacy comes out tomorrow, Friday, November 22 on Season of Mist, but you can hear all eight rip-roaring songs today by listening to the full album stream on the Season of Mist YouTube channel.

Listen Below:

Pre-order & Pre-save

https://orcd.co/defeatedsanitythecroniclesoflunacy

Chronicles of Lunacy punches you right in the face. Opener “Amputationsdrang” already has you pinned to the mat beneath its non-stop blasts. Get comfortable, too. Defeated Sanity don’t let the album up for air until "Temporal Disintegration" warps into a wiggling bass outro.

"We love experimenting", explains drummer and founding member Lille Gruber. "But we realized that some of our oldest fans might have gotten lost after our last couple of albums. With Chronicles of Lunacy, we wanted to focus more on neck-snapping brutality".

Acting like cavemen isn’t so easy when your band has a Mensa-level maestro like Gruber at the controls.  “Lille’s drumming is just ridiculous”, says bassist Jacob Schmidt. Whether Gruber is hammering his snare, pinging between cymbals or riding a colossal groove, Chronicles of Lunacy flows like a never-ending stream of filth. Lead single "The Odour of Sanctity" opens like he's puncturing a wound with blistering blast beats, only to spew over into a monstrously wonky syncopated stomp.

"He's the face of the franchise, so we're never going to abandon those head-scratching moments that set Defeated Sanity apart", Schmidt continues.

Indeed, Chronicles of Lunacy isn't Defeated Sanity for dummies. "Each song deals with a different form of mental corruption", vocalist Josh Welshman says. "Odour" stinks of religious fanaticism. Early crowd favorite "A Patriarchy Perverse" cracks open the mind of co-ed killer Ed Kemper. "Sickness breeding sickness", Welshman growls with guttural vengeance.

While it still hits from every odd angle, Chronicles of Lunacy does draw a jagged red line back to Defeated Sanity's brutal origins. After all, the band now share a label with their namesake. New guitarist Vaughn Stoffey's chunky finger taps whip "Accelerating the Rot" into the fastest song in DS history. "This album is rawer and more straightforward", Stoffey says. "It gets back to what people love about Psalms of the Moribund and Chapters of Repugnance".

To dig up the sheer brutality that long-time fans have come to crave, Defeated Sanity returned to Thousand Cave Studios. The underground hot spot served as the excavation site for their previous two albums, but with Chronicles of Lunacy, producer Colin Marston was encouraged to really get his hands dirty. "We still wanted some of the high fidelity that you hear on modern death metal records", Schmidt says, "but this album also has the old school's crushing low-end".

The band execute this two-headed approach to monstrous effect on “Condemned to Vascular Famine”. At just under six minutes, the song delivers the longest ass beating on Chronicles of Lunacy. At times, all four members sound like they’re climbing up the walls in separate asylums, but after slipping in a brief nod to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the band come slamming down into the album’s ugliest breakdown.

“That’s one of our favorites”, the band says. “It lands at a crossroad of the DS sound that we ended up with on Chronicles of Lunacy. Even though it gets pretty fucking weird at times, there’s still an emphasis on heavy, straight-up slamming”

They're never going to drag their knuckles in a straight line, but on Chronicles of Lunacy, Defeated Sanity return to sheer brutality.

None of their albums are ever going to follow a straight line, but on Chronicles of Lunacy, Defeated Sanity return to sheer brutality.

TSS Share "DEAD!" (Feat. CVLTE) Video

FEARLESS RECORDS recently welcomed French metal alchemists TSS (formerly The Sunday Sadness) to the label's global roster.

The band has steadily built a reputation with its innovative blend of emo, metalcore, alternative rock, and synthwave. They've recently added elements of phonk and neo-metal to their sonic blend. The band was founded in 2016 by Kirby, who sought to combine his emo and metalcore roots into a fresh new sound. The band quickly solidified its lineup with John on guitar and vocals, and Hugo on Drums.

Today, they've shared the video for  "DEAD!" (Feat. CVLTE), which is their second single for their new label home.

Watch it below.

TSS bring the synths and the riffs on their new song "DEAD," featuring Japanese group CVLTE. The song gets an added dose of heat from the layered vocals and lyrics which are partially sung in the band's native French language. All of these elements make for a truly cross-cultural metalcore anthem that cycles through multiple moods and tempos, as well as different genres, like pop and nu metal, in the space of a few minutes. The guitars have infinite girth, while the catchy chorus "I'm addicted to the pain" will wrap around your cerebral cortex and stay there. The quiet-loud dynamics and the industrial crunch that defines the closing breakdown are as explosive as it gets. TSS will take you to plenty of musical spaces and places on "DEAD."

"Our new single, 'DEAD!,' marks a turning point for us," the band states. "After years of mutually admiring each other's work and wanting to evolve the emo scene on our respective continents, we've finally joined forces with the Japanese band CVLTE. Since 2019, we've been exchanging, sharing our inspirations and visions for the future of the genre."

TSS further say, "'DEAD!' is the fruit of this unique collaboration: a song that blurs boundaries, fusing our influences and musical identities to redefine what alternative rock music can be today. This collaboration goes beyond music; it represents the union of two worlds passionate about alternative genre, fueled by two different cultures."

Regarding the accompanying video, the band says, "Shooting the video here in Europe, with [singer] Aviel by our side, was a powerful experience, symbolizing the culmination of several years of connection and creation. The result of this teamwork is DEAD! A powerfull hit radio song about toxic relationships, that mixes trap, metalcore, and cloud rap. In addition to the music, we have forged a strong friend relationship with CVLTE. This collaboration is just the beginning of long series of other featuring between the two bands."

It follows "Killing Me," their debut single for their new label. The visual is inspired by The Matrix and '00s-era horror films, and it will transport you to the glory days of aughts art. Watch it here.

In December 2023, a track that topped iTunes rock charts and caught the attention of many labels. In September 2024, having signed a deal with Fearless Records.

TSS's journey, characterized by constant innovation and genre-blending, has positioned them as a rising force in the modern metal scene, with a growing fanbase across diverse musical communities.

Real talk... The Young Fables

The holiday season is here, and while it brings joy and celebration for many, we also recognize that for some, it’s the most difficult time of the year. The colder weather, the early sunsets, and the quiet of the season can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it’s hard to shake off the weight of everything we've been through.

As we reflect on the year, we understand that not everyone has had an easy one. For some, it may feel like a year they wish they could forget. We miss the loved ones who are no longer with us, and in these quieter moments, if we aren't mindful, our mental health can begin to slip.

We just wanted to take a moment to reach out to all our fighters out there. If this time of year is tough for you, please know that you’re not alone. We're thinking of you and sending love and strength your way.

Recently, we took some time to record a special version of our latest single "Good At Hurtin" in a home studio. We created it with those who might be facing a tough time this season in mind.

Your hearts are on our minds and your minds are in our hearts.

Stay strong and continue on. You got this.

STORACE New Album 'Crossfire' Out Now Via Frontiers Music SRL

Swiss rock legend Marc Storace and his band, STORACE, have unleashed their electrifying new studio album, 'Crossfire', now available through Frontiers Music Srl. The album's intense lead single, "Adrenaline", arrives with a powerful accompanying lyric video.

Marc Storace describes the new single by saying:

'Adrenaline' is a song about passionate feelings arising from close encounters with the woman of my dreams!”

Watch the Lyric Video for "Adrenaline" Below.

On the release of 'Crossfire', Marc Storace expresses his excitement:

Tommy Henriksen, in spite of his tight touring schedule with Alice Cooper, The Hollywood Vampires, and his work with his Crossbone Skully, actually 'made time' to produce my 'Crossfire' album! Hell yeah, that’s what I call a good friend! Creating the songs with T felt like magic… And he even got the incredible Olle Romo, Mutt Lange’s very own engineer, to mix the album… Unbelievable! It was like a match made in heaven!! Play It Loud!!”

Pre-Order 'Crossfire' HERE

Maltese-born-Swiss musician Marc Storace started his exceptional musical career in 1970, with the Swiss cult progressive band TEA, which became a very successful band and with whom he released 5 LPs. Marc gained attention for his frontmanship and high-pitched raunchy vocal tone.

In 1979, Marc became the voice of Krokus, the most successful Hard Rock band from Switzerland. After their first album with Marc, 'Metal Rendez-Vous,' Krokus played several world tours, sold over 15 million records, and won many gold and platinum awards.

After the group disbanded, Marc formed the band Blue, who released their self-titled album in 1991, including the widely known hit “You Can't Stop The Rainfall”.

In the 90s and 2000s, Marc acted in two feature films (Anuk and Handyman) and reached gold status with various Krokus formations and three LPs. With many guest appearances such as on Rock Meets Classic, Sweet 50th Anniversary, Ken Hensley Live in Switzerland, Schubert In Rock, and on Manfred Ehlert's albums 'Amen' and the rock opera 'Test', Marc remained present with his fans.

In 2008, fans were surprised by the news that the original Krokus formation would be touring again. The success was tremendous: tours in USA, Japan, Europe and South America as well as 2 new studio LPs, which, in turn, earned platinum status. In December 2019, Krokus played a farewell concert at the sold-out Hallenstadion in Zurich.

At the beginning of 2021, Marc started working on his solo career as STORACE and at the end of 2021, he released his first solo album 'Live And Let Live.' “I’ve always wanted to have Miranda sing on this song because I could hear her voice on it with me,” shares Houser. “She is one of my favorite singers and favorite people, and I’m so appreciative of her lending her incredible talent to it.”

“Randy has been a friend for a long time, yet we’ve never recorded one together,” adds Lambert. “I have loved his voice for forever and am honored he asked me to sing on ‘Still That Cowboy.’”

Today’s release will be featured on Houser’s album expansion Note To Self Deluxe, arriving January 2025, along with additional collaborations “Rub A Little Dirt On It” ft. Riley Green, “Country Round Here Tonight” ft. Justin Moore and a yet-to-be announced track with a special guest.

Houser recently joined HARDY for two sold-out performances at Red Rocks Amphitheater, marking a poignant full circle moment for the multi-Platinum Mississippi native, as his son Huck joined him for a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” Watch the video HERE.

“Red Rocks was the last day trip my daddy and I took together the day before I took him to the hospital in Denver,” shares Houser. “I was 21 years old and could only dream of getting to play here someday. He knew I would and told me I would. He wanted me to see it so badly. He had just seen Pink Floyd there and it was important to share such a beautiful place for musicians and fans alike. I know he was smiling down as I got to share it with his grandson.”

Houser performs at the Downtown Hoedown Concert in Las Vegas on December 4, kicking off the 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo before returning to Australia for a sold-out solo acoustic show on January 3. ABOUT JELLY ROLL:
Award-winning, GRAMMY® nominated Nashville native singer/songwriter Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart for the first time with his acclaimed 2024 album, Beautifully Broken—which also earned the highest critical praise of his career so far from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Associated Press, NPR, and more. The release concluded his most successful year yet and followed his sold out Beautifully Broken Tour in arenas nationwide.

Just a year earlier, Jelly debuted Top 3 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart and #2 on the Top Country Album charts with his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023) - earning the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Following his sweep at the 2023 CMT Music Awards where he earned three awards to become the most awarded artist of the night, the Billboard Country Power List Cover star and “country’s ‘most authentic’ new artist” (The New Yorker) received Billboard’s 2023 Breakthrough Award and the People’s Choice Award for Male Country Artist of the Year. Nominated for Best New Artist and Best Duo/Group Performance for “Save Me (with Lainey Wilson)” at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, along with eight genre-spanning nominations at the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards and a win for Best New Country and Pop artist wins, Jelly is one of three artists alongside Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs to have scored three Country Airplay #1s in 2023 and the first to do it with his first three singles. He has earned five consecutive #1s to date at Country radio and is “one of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” (The New York Times). A 4X winner at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards and the most nominated male at the 2023 CMA Awards, with five total nominations capturing his first CMA Award for New Artist of the Year, Jelly continues to break boundaries. His #1 hit single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt— set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights including a Platinum certification from the RIAA on the heels of his 28-week reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. Most recently, “Save Me” earned Jelly his first ACM win for Music Event of the year, released his new album Beautifully Broken on October 11 and launched his Beautifully Broken Tour on August 27th following his seven consecutive #1 singles: “I Am Not Okay,” “Chevrolet” - Dustin Lynch feat. Jelly Roll, “Halfway To Hell,” “Save Me,” “Need A Favor,” “Son of A Sinner” & “Dead Man Walking.”

Not just an artist but a humanitarian, Jelly continues to resonate with fans on a global scale while racking up numerous milestones - from playing his sold-out hometown show for 18,000 fans at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to donating a recording studio at the juvenile detention center he served in as a teen, to the release of his record-breaking documentary by ABC News, “Save Me” - the most watched music documentary on the platform - to his visits with rehab centers and those incarcerated across the US. Featured by Nightline, GMA, GMA3, The New York Times, LA Times, The Tennessean, Billboard, Variety, American Songwriter, CMT and more, his self-built, unconventional industry rise and unique fan connection has garnered praise from numerous outlets, with Variety noting, “for everyone who’s facing the same struggles, Jelly Roll is their Springsteen,” and American Songwriter echoing, “with a string of accolades and an extremely dedicated following, Jelly Roll has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.”

Presenting stripped down material, and showcasing his acclaimed classical compositions, these unique & intimate concerts have become a highlight of the year, beloved of his fans. As Steve explains: “It’s always a joy for me to play at Trading Boundaries, a magical intimate place full of beautiful lights and exotic imagery, illuminating the darkest time of year over Christmas and New Year… It’s the perfect location for my acoustic set.”

‘Live Magic At Trading Boundaries’, set for release on  January 17th 2025, collects various recordings from these shows from over the years, and also features appearances from regular collaborators including brother John Hackett on flute, Roger King on keys, Rob Townsend on flute & sax, & Amanda Lehmann on guitar & vocals. The release also coincides with Steve’s next two live appearances at the venue, on the 18th & 19th of January 2025.

As a result, this album shows a completely different side to his playing: “Somehow, you can feel the special atmosphere through the sound of the music on this new live album, which is a complete contrast to my live rock shows.”

“I love the delicate dreamlike quality of this show with John and Rob interplaying beautifully on flute and sax, interspersed by surprising moments of power, such as the point when Roger’s keys become the sound of a full blown pipe organ!” The album also features two performances of tracks from Amanda Lehmann’s most recent solo album ‘Innocence and Illusion’, “Amanda’s lovely vocals on her own spellbinding songs also provide a special contrast.”

Steve has recently been reissuing his classical catalogue, and the latest two in the series, ‘Metamorpheus’ & ‘Tribute’ are available now. Bury Tomorrow Announce New Album "Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience" + Share Video For New Single "What If I Burn"

For Bury Tomorrow, the last two years have been about trying to fill the space where they knew something was missing.

From the depths of uncertainty, through line-up changes, and COVID-inspired road blocks, the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast and the creation of 2023's The Seventh Sun has allowed them to lay out a whole new path of possibilities that felt unavailable before.

Now, with an invigorated belief and fresh outlook on what the band can encompass, they present Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, their most fantastically visceral offering to date. Pre-save/pre-order it here.

Crafted more intimately and intricately than ever before by internalizing every aspect of the writing process, with Carl Bown [Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps] manning production duties for the first time, the result is a profoundly personal, extraordinarily expansive and punishingly grand display of cathartic craftsmanship.

Born from a shared sense of frustration in feeling an ever-shifting disconnect from the state of modern society, the band have created an earnest, heart-wrenching and definitive look at the overlapping effects of brutal self-sabotage, crippling anxiety, fierce despondency and the never-ending search for peace and clarity in a world so full of noise. It is a record about division as much as togetherness, an outpouring of personal devastation but a hopeful reminder that we are all navigating it together.

Atmospherically stirring new single, "What If I Burn," centers on the tricks that our mind plays on our perception of existence, interactions and connections.

Watch the music video below.

"To haunt is to revisit or recur persistently to the consciousness of someone or something," explains guitarist Kristan Dawson. "There's beauty in that commitment somewhat. In a world full of distraction, discourse, instancy and demand, patience seems hard to attain. In patience, there is peace, one thing society is short of. The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters. I think the notion of patience being haunting is quite a contrast and that's certainly reflective of the album musically."

Within such deep sonic exploration and shared emotional understanding, and despite its bleak outlook on things, Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience still strives to represent that lingering presence, that hope, that reminds us that this isn't the be-all and end-all of this existence. That things can change for the better, just like we can change for the better with it, and persevering through such separation will bring us back around eventually. We just have to weather the storm and trust in that feeling to pull us through.

To have allowed themselves the time and space to reach this point of comfort and confidence now feels like a starting point for everything that the band will do in the future. Expanding their empire in all corners of the world and delivering their biggest statement of intent to date is the beginning of a whole new chapter in the story of one of the most devastating and dedicated assets to British heavy music

MOLOTOV SOLUTION Continue Their Relentless Resurgence with a New Anthem of Oppression; "Mortis Imperium"

Following their explosive comeback earlier this month with “Devour The Children,” Molotov Solution, the politically charged deathcore stalwarts, return with their latest single, “Mortis Imperium.” Picking up where their previous release left off, this new track dives deeper into the brutal cycles of ideological resurgence and the cold, systematic exploitation of humanity. Fans can stream the new single HERE and watch the official music video below.

Speaking on the release of their second new single, Molotov Solution frontman, Nick Arthur states,

“With ‘Mortis Imperium,’ we dive into the cyclical resurgence of oppressive ideologies and the brutal reality of systemic exploitation. This track draws parallels between ideology and faith, painting a stark picture of humanity as simply fuel for the war machine. While our first single ‘Devour the Children’ confronts betrayal in the pursuit of power with melody and madness, ‘Mortis Imperium’ leaves listeners with a haunting reminder of government-sponsored death conveyed through unrelenting drum grooves, punishing riffs, and back-breaking heaviness.”

Molotov Solution’s 2011 album, Insurrection, is widely regarded as one of the most influential deathcore releases of its time,

shaping the genre for years to come. Sadly, the band went on indefinite hiatus after its release leaving a huge influence but a

gaping hole in deathcore genre. On November 1st, they emerged from a decade-long hiatus with their powerful new single, “Devour The Children” a brutal and rageful statement of intent heralding the band's timely resurrection. Known for their fearless approach to exposing corruption and power struggles through their music, Molotov Solution’s voice is more vital than ever, delivering an unflinching soundtrack to the turbulent times we face with the fierce intent to challenge and resist.

Continuing a legacy of fearless commentary and crushing musicality, Molotov Solution give voice to the defiant and the dispossessed through their unique and hyper-influential brand of deathcore. With plenty more to come, “Mortis Imperium” is another bold step in this renewed chapter of Molotov Solution, leaving no doubt that the band is back and more furious than ever.

ABOUT MOLOTOV SOLUTION

Molotov Solution returns in 2024, reawakened after a decade of silence with a renewed fire and an uncompromising vision. Known for their politically charged, ferociously heavy sound, the Las Vegas-based band is ready to reclaim their position at the forefront of extreme music. With a legacy built on confronting societal corruption, power struggles, and injustice, their return is a statement: the fight isn't over, and neither are they.

Molotov Solution has always been more than just a deathcore band. They are a voice for those who resist, a sonic assault against the systems that oppress. As they step into this new chapter, they carry with them the same relentless energy that defined their past but with a sharpened edge and a deeper urgency. In a world that seems more chaotic and fractured than ever, their music is not just relevant—it is essential.

Fans can expect new music that continues to push boundaries, both sonically and lyrically. Their signature blend of heavy, gut-punching riffs and politically infused messages will drive their upcoming releases, which promise to be as intense and confrontational as ever.

With new music and renewed determination, Molotov Solution are ready to unleash a new era of heavy music that will resonate with old fans and new alike.

SUNSTORM Release New Album 'Restless Fight' Today via Frontiers Music SRL

Today, AOR/Melodic Rock quintet SUNSTORM are proud to unleash their latest album,'Restless Fight', available through Frontiers Music Srl. The album's lead single, "Shot In The Dark", comes complete with an electrifying visualizer that captures the band's melodic rock essence.

Guitarist Aldo Lonobile comments on the focus track:

“'Shot In The Dark' is one of Ozzy’s most iconic song, the riff, the chorus, everything is just perfect and it features one of my favourite guitar players: Mr. Jake E Lee! When Serafino proposed us to record our own cover version, we were very excited, it reflects the original version, hoping that fans will appreciate it”.

Ronnie Romero expresses his enthusiasm for the release, by saying:

I really love the new album! I believe it keeps the SUNSTORM essence with an AOR base, but bringing a fresh more guitar oriented and a heavier sound. It was fantastic to work with Aldo for the first time and I believe the fans are going to like the album very much!”

Watch the Visualizer for "Shot In The Dark" Below

SUNSTORM is a project created, overseen, and directed by Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Records, and it was originally designed to showcase a musical style similar to singer Joe Lynn Turner’s Melodic Rock/AOR roots.

Since 2021, SUNSTORM features one of the most impressive vocal talents of recent years, Lords of Black and Rainbow singer Ronnie Romero. Romero’s debut album with SUNSTORM, 'Afterlife' was released in early 2021 and showcased a rejuvenation of SUNSTORM's previous musical formula, mixing Melodic Rock/AOR with more '70s oriented hard rock, ala Rainbow (for which Romero performed as singer).

Romero's voice and prolific musical activity have brought him to the forefront of the hard rock/metal scene where he can be seen/heard with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, The Michael Schenker Group, Lords of Black, The Ferrymen, and Elegant Weapons with Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner.

Ronnie Romero is also a prolific solo artist, with the release of his first two cover albums 'Raised On Radio' and 'Raised On Heavy Radio' – where he pays tribute to legendary artists from the metal world – and his latest work 'Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters', the first to feature all-new original material, released in September 2023.

With the new album 'Restless Fight', the third to feature Ronnie Romero, SUNSTORMchanged its skin. The new line-up that backs Romero, comes from a heavy background.

On guitars, Aldo Lonobile, musician, songwriter and producer (Geoff Tate's Sweet Oblivion, Archon Angel feat. Zak Stevens, Ring Of Fire feat. Mark Boals), Andrea Arcangeli (from the Italian progressive metal band DGM) on bass, Alfonso Mocerino (ex-Temperance, Virtual Simmetry) on drums and Antonio Agate (one of the most talented Italian keyboard players and arranger for symphonic orchestras, featured in countless albums) on keyboards. It brings back SUNSTORM’s classic AOR/Hard Rock formula with a strongest dose of energy, reaching a more dynamic and bombastic approach.

Order 'Restless Fight' HERE

Since the inception of the new album’s production, the discussion has centered on the concept of keeping the roots of SUNSTORM’s musical style: the AOR sound of the early records that everyone wanted, but with special attention to the 80s way to arrange the guitars and keys in order to reach more powerful vibrations. The aim was to give a fresh appeal to the new music so that it could be the perfect foundation for Romero, who with his powerful vocal style, is the perfect fit to deliver the goods for the music.

The result is 'Restless Fight,' an album where Ronnie’s vocal acrobatics sit perfectly into Lonobile’s way to play guitars, clearly influenced by the 80’s guitar heroes such as Jake E. Lee/Steve Stevens, to name a few.

'Restless Fight' stands pretty tall in its own right and SUNSTORM is here to stay with a lot more to say!

SUNSTORM are:

Ronnie Romero – Vocals

Aldo Lonobile – Guitars

Andrea Arcangeli – Bass

Antonio Agate – Keys

Alfonso Mocerino - Drums
