Tigiriliy Gold Releases Rowdy New Song "Shoot Tequila," Out Now

Monument Records’ harmonious sister duo Tigirlily Gold’s mid-west upbringing means one thing: they know how to work hard. Signed to the label in 2021, sisters Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh honed their craft grinding away on Nashville’s Lower Broadway for more than five years. They would see their fans, who were not residents of Music City, show up where they would deliver four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Songs like their latest release, the barn burner “Shoot Tequila,” were born from the time spent on Broadway. Listen to the rowdy, free-spirited, “Shoot Tequila,” now.

“We’ve been singing in honky tonks since before we could even legally ‘shoot tequila,’” the sisters readily admit. “Playing on Broadway in Nashville for years really affected our sound, and we always lean towards writing songs that have great live energy. ‘Shoot Tequila’ is our ‘Broadway’ song, and we want people to get excited, grab a drink, and meet us at the nearest honky tonk!”

Written by the sisters alongside Better Than Ezra's Kevin Griffin and David Mescon, and produced by Pete Good and Shane McAnally, the upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night.

        And it goes like
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, more
If I had a little sense, I woulda stopped at four
‘Stead of cursing your name on the bathroom floor
Swear to God I won’t drink tequila no more
But Mama didn’t raise no quitter

The song, which was teased on TikTok earlier this week, has already garnered over 7 million views, and climbing. The music video is available now, below.

As they ramp up to release more new music, Tigirlily Gold will wrap their innovative 23-stop Introducing Tigirlily Gold: The Tour Presented by Lee® on Jan. 25 in Nashville. With prior stops including Denver, Boston, Orlando and more, the tour integrates brand partnerships, charity and local tastemakers across each stop, establishing a deep-rooted fanbase and introducing the girls to the industry in a new way. Each show also benefits Musicians on Callwith a call to donation on stage, culminating in a livestream at the end of the tour that will go out to all Musicians on Call hospitals.

“Shoot Tequila” is the first taste of new music from the powerhouse duo as they embark on a new musical chapter with their upcoming project. Ready to bring girl group energy back to country music, stay tuned for more from Tigirlily Gold throughout 2023. About Tigirlily Gold
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.

After releasing their original song “Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.

BIZARREKULT Premieres Music Video for New Song, "Den Tapte Krige"

Solo black metal project BIZARREKULT is now sharing the official music video for the title track from its upcoming sophomore full-length, 'Den Tapte Krigen!' Meaning "The Lost War," the record will be released via Season of Miston January 27, 2023, making it BIZARREKULT's debut to the label! The song and video can now be found at below.

BIZARREKULT mastermind Roman V. comments: "'Den Tapte Krigen' (The lost war) is a reflection on the everyday battle that consumes everything inside and outside, exploding the minds and deforming our  personalities. Is it worth it? What do we gain? How much (and whom) do we loose on the way to "victory?

"A bit of classical 'Don Quixote' by Cervantes plus a bit of post-modernist Pilevin 'Life of Insects' might hint on how the lyrics, choice of languages and visuals are connected."

'Den Tapte Krigen' can be pre-ordered HERE and the album can be pre-saved on all digital streaming services HERE

Since the genre’s inception, black metal has been ruled by lone wolves. Individuals who blur the lines between “masterminds” and “madmen,” creating in solitude and willful confinement. From first and second wave purveyors such as BATHORY and BURZUM to this century’s revivalists like SAOR and PANOPTICON, these anomic souls have made incomparable contributions to the dark arts. And in 2022, BIZARREKULT paves a new yet familiar path, establishing itself as one of the cult visionaries of this decade.

Before finding his way to music, multi-instrumentalist Roman V was first a poet. Since childhood, Roman found an outlet in writing and by 2006, he created BIZARREKULT as an auditory accompaniment to his verbal expressions. “BIZARREKULT since the beginning was a quest of identity and philosophical search for answers on the questions that bother the mind at night and day,” explains Roman.

Despite the project’s inception 16 years ago, BIZARREKULT’s music did not make its debut until the release of ‘Vi Overlevde’ in 2021. As he started feeling challenged by the declining state of the world, Roman pursued a new path and decided to go straight to the environment that incubated and birthed the genre that he loves. As he relocated from Siberia to his current home of Norway, his new surroundings had its intended purpose and greatly impacted his musical journey. “After some initial recordings the project was set aside in order to deal with increasing mass challenges from the surrounding world. And then it ended up getting a spark a decade later in a different environment, nature, language and culture. So distant, but so close. Norway has become my second home and the last few years that led to revitalization of BIZARREKULT were spent on reflecting on myself, meaning, purpose and reuniting with the things that were important – art and creativity.”

Meaning “We Survived,” ‘Vi Overlevde’ was a very intimate, vulnerable, and personal offering. Roman describes the record as “a testament to survival through personal crisis” and notes that it is “filled with reflections on childhood, family and societal relations.” The musician took care to ensure that the record delivered a comprehensive package, aligning the music, artwork, and lyrics with exact precision.

As the world was collectively reckoning with the turmoil of year two of a global pandemic, the album’s message gave many hope. Fans started to emerge, reacting to the record with their own artistic interpretations as a way to pay tribute. The album also won the hearts of the media, appearing on a handful of “album of the year” lists, including scoring a third place position from Sweden’s biggest newspaper, Aftonbladet.

Now, BIZARREKULT is ready to enter a new chapter, forging a new union with Season of Mist and completing the work on its sophomore full-length, ‘Den Tapte Krigen.’ Meaning “The Lost War,” ‘Den Tapte Krigen’ thematically picks up the thread from where ‘Vi Overlevde" left off, but sees a musical evolution as BIZARREKULT continues to find and establish its identity. “The main message of ‘Den Tapte Krigen’ is about a constant war inside our lives, war with ourselves, our closest ones, our societies,” says Roman. “It’s a war in which we can lose everything, including our personality, faith, honour and dignity. However, similar to ‘Vi Overlevde’ that ends on a rather positive note, ‘Den Tapte Krigen’ contains a message of hope and reconnection, of necessity to make a peace with yourself, accept what you are, your identity, and share forgiveness and love. This is the only way out of the vicious circle.”

"Voyeurist, in so many ways, is a culmination of our entire career into one album and the response has been humbling," says Dudley. "Being the first album we've completely self-produced, and seeing how all of that has translated to a live setting, is so insane. Trivium Share Heaven Shall Burn Cover

Grammy-nominated Florida heavyweights TRIVIUM — Matthew K. Heafy(vocals/guitars); Corey Beaulieu (guitars); Paolo Gregoletto (bass); and drummer Alex Bent — are embarking on a sold-out headline tour of Europe along with Heaven Shall Burn. The bands are marking the occasion with a twist and have come up with a clever way to give their fans some "new" music.

Today, Trivium have shared their cover of Heaven Shall Burn's "Implore the Darken Sky."

Listen to the song, now available at all DSPs, below.

The cover is featured on a split 7" that the bands are selling on the road and directly to fans while touring Europe together. Heaven Shall Burn previously released their cover of Trivium's "Pillar of Serpents," which appears on the band's first album From Ember to Inferno. Listen here.

"In the early days of Trivium, back when we were discovering the many great genres and flavors of heavy music, I knew about the classic greats, I knew about extreme metal, but never before had I heard what HSB was doing," says Heafy. "Heaven Shall Burn's Whatever It May Take album was my first introduction to their brand of metalcore. This fusion of hardcore ethos and metal sounds blew my mind."

Heafy finishes, "'Implore the Darken Sky' is not only my favorite HSB song, but the one that taught me so much about a sound that needed to be injected into Trivium."

Trivium's European tour wraps at the end of the month. The band will announce further 2023 tour plans shortly.

ABOUT TRIVIUM:
Trivium released their tenth album, In The Court Of The Dragon, via longtime label Roadrunner Records. The record was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur and recorded in the Fall of 2020 at Full Sail University in Orlando. Get In the Court Of The Dragon here. Trivium shared the album's title track, "In The Court Of The Dragon," which featured an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor) and was accompanied by an official short film music videodirected by Ryan Mackfall. Loudwire called out the song as "a skillful blend of dynamics. And blast beats just sound really, really good beneath Matt Heafy's soothing clean singing" while Revolver labeled it "epic." Guitar World christened second single "Feast Of Fire" as "pummeling" and "quintessentially Trivium," as Metal Injection declared it "really, really catchy." The band also shared the video for "The Phalanx" in partnership with Elder Scrolls. Kerrang! called it "huge." Heafy discussed the genesis of the track with NME. Read it here.

HOST Release Pulsing Electronic Single "My Only Escape"

Greg Mackintosh and Nick Holmes have revealed the latest single from their brand new dark wave project HOST, a pulsing electronic single titled 'My Only Escape'.

The third single from their debut album IX, which will be released on 24th February through Nuclear Blast Records, 'My Only Escape' is yet another display of lush nuance that showcases the band's vast range of influences.

Vocalist Nick Holmes commented,
"Musically, this track has an intentional repetitive element that builds throughout the song, this is also mirrored in the lyric idea, as in the repetition of an everyday life held in such poor regard. The feeling of actually being physically scared, acts as an acceptable relief from day to day drudgery."

Watch the lyric video for 'My Only Escape' below.

About HOST

The origins of HOST do not trace back to the 1999 PARADISE LOST album bearing the same name but instead to the West Yorkshire music clubs of the mid-to-late 1980s. WhileHolmes and Mackintosh were already certified heavy metal fanatics (“metal thrashing mad” as Holmes equates), they were equally drawn to the New Wave and Goth music scenes. The pounding rhythms, sublime melodies and undercurrent of darkness drew them in, creating immediate earworms and a desire to delve further.

Mackintosh finally put plans into motion during the pandemic for a venture that would merge his penchant for sound design with the moods and atmosphere of 1980s dance-pop and Goth. The project was originally a solo pursuit until he asked Holmes, his longtime PARADISE LOST songwriting partner, to join. 'HOST' was selected as the name as a tip of the hat to the aforementioned album that found PARADISE LOST in an unprecedented period of experimentation that eschewed their metal roots and also challenged their fanbase in ways like never before.

“We always stood by 'Host' as an album,” says Mackintosh. “This project is not totally connected to that album, but some of the ideas are extrapolated. We’re taking the basic premise and trying it out now. And, really, it was something fun and interesting for us to do. We’ve been doing PARADISE LOST for a long time and got an itch to try something different from where PL is now. I could take PL down this route again. Who knows? It may happen if we live long enough, but I thought, ‘Why not now?’ I had the time to do it.”

Chicago's dark emissaries THE BELLWETHER SYNDICATE offer an enthralling journey on 'Beacons' single

"Goth Rock Tornado... hair-raising speed, riff-racing insanity and badass drum/bass force... William Faith‘s edged Goth-infused vocals rumble all over this super-duper sucker-punch steamroller" ~ Turn Up The Volume

"Anything but conventional when it comes to rock music... the band is one of the most unique dissonant sounds in the scene" ~ Outburn Magazine

“Amazing, stunning... Post-punk on a not-very-discreet death rock orientation” ~ The Noise Journal

“The time seems right for a new wave of post-punk to be ushered in. But I suspect that is already underway, and The Bellwether Syndicate is leading the charge” ~ Big Takeover Magazine

"A glittery piece of glamorous darkness...with William Faith’s crooning vocals and Sarah Rose smoothly cascading guitars” ~ Post-Punk.com

Chicago-based alternative post-punk outfit The Bellwether Syndicate ring in this new dark year with the release of 'Beacons'. Debuting at #4 in the DAC/German Alternative Charts, this is the second single from their 'Vestige & Vigil' album, slated for spring release via Nexilis Records /  Schubert Music Europe and Sett Records in North America.

The Bellwether Syndicate is made up of William Faith (vox, guitars), Sarah Rose Faith (vox, guitars), Philly Peroxide (keyboards, percussion), Stevyn Grey (drums) and Corey Gorey (guitars). Formerly of seminal goth acts Christian Death, Mephisto Walz and Shadow Project and co-founder of Faith & The Muse, William Faith moved from his native Los Angeles to Chicago in 2010, forming The Bellwether Syndicate with his wife, Sarah Rose Faith a.k.a. Scary Lady Sarah, one of the scene’s most eminent DJs and club promoters and host of Nocturna, the longest-running goth event in North America.

'Beacons' exerts its nautical feel in both tone and verse, with the ‘set adrift’ narrative supported by liquid, chorused guitars and distress-signal bass and synth, before the whole thing kicks into a full steam ahead chorus, with chiming, glorious guitars chasing the pulsing beat and soaring vocal all the way home.

"'Beacons' is simply a love song to our family: our people — our fans. We’d be truly lost at sea without them, and every time we get ready to play a live gig, they really are the beacons that guide us home, to that moment where we’re together in a safe harbor and everything is possible. That moment is everything to us, and it’s what we live for," says William Faith.

Earlier, the band released the lead track 'Dystopian Mirror', which reached #11 in the German Alternative Charts (DAC). This glam-noir single wields a relentless assault of hard-edged guitars, buzzsaw synths and tribal beats set the stage for a guided tour through the realm of the unwell, spat out with sardonic conviction by the voices in your head.

Six years in the making, the 'Vestige & Vigil' LP was produced by William Faith, whose credits include Jarboe, Clan of Xymox, Bootblacks and Autumn, and Chad Blinman (Face To Face, Faith and The Muse, Jarboe). Recorded by William Faith at 13 Studio in Chicago, it was mixed by Blinman at The Eye Socket. This album comes 9 years after debuting with 'The Night Watch' EP and four years since their latest single, 'Republik'.

'Beacons' is out now, available from all fine digital outlets, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp, where 'Dystopian Mirror' can also be found. The full 'Vestige & Vigil' album will be released in April 2023.

Pierce The Veil Share Visualizer for New Single "Even When I'm Not With You"

NEW ALBUM THE JAWS OF LIFE OUT FEBRUARY 10 VIA FEARLESS RECORDS

Platinum-selling powerhouse Pierce The Veil — guitarist/vocalist Vic Fuentes, guitarist Tony Perry, and bassist Jaime Preciado — will release their new album The Jaws of Life on February 10, 2023 via longtime label Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the visualizer for the latest single "Even When I'm Not With You." Watch it below.

The track follows the explosive, one-two punch of the September 2022-released comeback single "Pass the Nirvana" and its successor "Emergency Contact," which have tallied over 20 million combined streams! Anticipation for the album release is burning at a fevered pitch, while Huffington Post, Gawker, and MTV all recently spotlighted PTV's continued domination of their genre.

Fuentes offered a deep insight into "Even When I'm Not With You," saying, "Musically, it's the first song we've ever created that utilizes the same looping riff throughout nearly the entire song," Fuentes explains. "This was something that I have been trying to accomplish for years with our band and I'm excited that we finally found a way to do it with this one."

Regarding the lyrical scope of the track, Fuentes states, "This song was inspired by a text my manager sent me while I was going through a rough time. I thanked her for being there for me, and she said, 'Even when I'm not with you, I'm still with you.' That phrase touched my heart and inspired me to write a love song dedicated to my wife about no matter how far away I am on tour, I'm still devoted to her, and we will always be connected through our love."

As for The Jaws of Life as a whole, Fuentes says, "This album has truly brought us closer than we've ever been. It was extremely difficult for us to be off the road and apart for so long. We've never missed anything more than playing music together and never had such a strong appreciation for recording, touring, and simply being in the same room together than we do now. The Jaws of Life is about how life can sink its teeth into you and try to devour you. The negativity in the world and within your mind can be a vicious thing. We're extremely grateful for this record, our fans, and the opportunity to play live music again."

Pierce The Veil have become iconic in their genre — and rightfully so. Their return has been fiercely welcomed, receiving press praise fromPaper, Gawker, MTV, Ones to Watch, Yahoo, and more. Meanwhile, the first single "Pass the Nirvana" racked up over 13 million streams since its September bow.

They've also debuted atop Billboard’s Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums, and Hard Rock Albums charts twice – first with Collide With the Sky (2012) and its follow-up, Misadventures (2016). A decade after its release, thealreadyplatinum "King for a Day" shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Streaming chart, driven by the viral #KingForADay hashtag on TikTok. Even with two gold singles and a gold album, this coming year could be their biggest yet.

Because this is the year of The Jaws of Life.

The band Rolling Stone once described as "hyperactive, progressive post-hardcore," returns with album number five, full of fuzzy guitars, massive melodic hooks, and PTV's distinct emotional heart. The Jaws of Life is Pierce The Veil at their most raw —crackling with urgency and immediacy. Never predictable, always engaging, Pierce The Veil continue to soar on the strength of highly potent energy, rich musicality, and a scrappy sense of authentic exuberant ambition that's frankly unrivaled. Fuentes, Perry, and Preciado put volatile, angsty, confessional emotions into the music, which is why their songs resonant with so many. "No matter where the band performs, fans will show up," wrote Loudwire. "When you see Pierce The Veil live, you'll understand why."

PTV's evolution from album to album is nothing less than stunning. The early buzz generated by A Flair for the Dramatic (2007) made its follow-up one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. Selfish Machines shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The Chicago Tribune saluted Collide with the Sky for its "post-hardcore punk with more than a few nods to Queen." They became a true arena act on Misadventures, selling out huge venues without losing the intimate connection with their fans.

The Jaws of Life was produced by Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Mutemath, The Blue Stones), and mixed by Adam Hawkins (Machine Gun Kelly, Turnstile, Twenty One Pilots). Deadly serious subject matter abounds, but Pierce The Veil enduringly navigates it all with grace. The lyrics continue the Fuentes tradition of painstaking honesty and clever twists of phrase. Pierce The Veil perform at the biggest festivals and is counted among the biggest and brightest of a younger generation of bands. But it all starts with the songs. The Jaws of Life is filled with the kind to keep the PTV fire burning forever.

Brooklyn post-punk duo A CLOUD OF RAVENS reveal the 'Nature of Artifice', second taste of new LP

“Their sound, though inspired by bands of their youth, is not rooted stubbornly in the past - their music feels of this time, with their messages transversing the cosmos” ~ Post-Punk.com

“A Cloud of Ravens impress not only for the dark poetry, which forms and develops in the band’s lyrics and expands in their alluring titles, but the duo also rivet through their gritty and immediate sonic scheme, which feels pitch dark and hard as nails”Destroy // Exist

"A perfect blend of an homage to the past and the modern construction of the future. A heroic journey through a desolate land" ~ Sounds and Shadows

“They play cold wave, they play post-punk, they are Gothics, and they set to music some of the most striking lyrics you can find out there” ~ White Light // White Heat

NYC-based post-punk / alternative rock duo A Cloud of Ravens have released their new single 'Nature of Artifice', the second taste of their third full-length album 'Lost Hymns', following lead track 'The Blackest Mantra'.

A Cloud of Ravens emerged in Brooklyn, formed in 2018 by Matthew McIntosh(guitar and vocals) and Beth Narducci (bass guitar). Growing up in a family of avid music lovers and her mother being a professional opera single, McIntosh arrived at this genre of music after ample explorations in the punk, death rock and hardcore scenes, finally forging the duo's trademark sound with Narducci, whose background is more connected with alternative rock and industrial music.

Recorded from spring to autumn 2021 and mastered by ACTORS' Jason Corbett at Jacknife Sound studio in Vancouver, the 'Lost Hymns' LP will be released in early 2023 via Berlin-based Nexilis Records, a a division of  Schubert Music Europe.

"The song 'Nature of Artifice' is about choosing to bury your head in the sand, rather than confronting glaring societal ills and moral injustices. It’s easier to get lost in the minutia of our click and swipe modern world than watch its blessings crumble around us. To some extent, none of us are blameless," says Matthew McIntosh.

At the outset, A Cloud of Ravens hit the ground running with a string of self-released offerings, making their mark in the burgeoning contemporary dark music scene and garnering attention that would result in a one-off release date for their 2021 album 'Another Kind of Midnight', a mournful yet triumphant collection exploring the heart of a world amidst a devastating pandemic and torn by moral tribalism.

Effectively merging classic and contemporary post-punk and darkwave sensibilities, their somewhat poetic use of prose and metaphor expressed the trials and joys of the world in which we now find ourselves. A Cloud of Ravens' subsequent remix-based EP featured contributions by legendary producer John Fryer and such prominent artists as Clan of Xymox, ACTORS, Chris Vrenna and Ritual Howls.

'Nature of Artifice' is out now, available across digital outlets, including Apple MusicSpotify, Amazon and Bandcamp. The full 'Lost Hymns' album will be released in April 2023. Fans can also look forward to North American tour dates with Clan of Xymox and Curse Mackey in mid-2023.

Art rock collective The Pull of Autumn have teamed up with Luke 'Skyscraper' James of I.R.S. recording artist FASHION on 'Funhouse', the latest offering from the collective's fourth album 'Beautiful Broken World', an ambitious 15-track undertaking that began in early 2020. James is a key player in The Pull of Autumn, having contributed to every album released to date.

Earlier, the band released 'Outlaw Empire' featuring The Pop Group legend Mark Stewart and bassist Doug Wimbish (Living Colour, Tackhead, The Rolling Stones, Sugarhill Gang), which was remixed by legendary producer Adrian Sherwood. That was followed by 'Live Today' with Tokyo dreamgazers Once Grace Forever.

This record involves a number of iconic artists, including Philip Parfitt of The Perfect Disaster, Stuart Moxham of Rough Trade postpunk band Young Marble Giants and John Neff, who has contributed to multiple David Lynch films and is also a member of David Lynch’s Blubob.

The Pull of Autumn is a ‘super group’ of sorts, with songs orbiting around Rhode Island artist Daniel Darrow of Johanna’s House of Glamour and involving numerous emerging and notable musicians from the local music scene and further abroad. The band's debut 2018 eponymous album was followed by 'Afterglow' in 2019 and 'Small Colors' in 2020.

"This song is about how people in rural communities used to have to wait a year for the circus/ carnival to come to town. Then it would be gone. As opposed to the oceans of distraction and "entertainment" that the human race currently wallows around in," says Luke 'Skyscraper' James.

Daniel Darrow adds, "For 'Funhouse', I wanted to add an inner-ear sound that would give the track an otherworldly sound. Luke is a fabulous writer and easily grasps many different sounds in sound design. We’ve been friends since 2018 and I’m glad we have a wonderful friendship as well as shared interest in all types of music."

'Beautiful Broken World' is out now, available across online stores and streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, as well as Bandcamp, where it can be obtained directly from the artist.

Death Ray Vision (Feat. KsE bassist Mike D) Sign to Metal Blade Records + New Album Out In 2023!

DEATH RAY VISION SIGN TO METAL BLADE RECORDS

BAND FEATURES KILLSWITCH ENGAGE BASSIST MIKE D'ANTONIO AND INTRODUCES NEW VOCALIST

NEW ALBUM NO MERCY FROM ELECTRIC EYES OUT LATER THIS YEAR

Birthed at the juncture where hardcore and punk meet metal, DEATH RAY VISION are proud to announce they have found a home. They have signed with Metal Blade Records for their forthcoming third album, No Mercy From Electric Eyes, due out in summer of this year. More details on the album are coming soon.

The band has shared the following teaser, which includes a snippet of a new song. Watch and listen below.

"I could not be more excited about Death Ray Vision joining the Metal Blade family," says bassist Mike D'Antonio. "The new record is a banger, and I can't think of a better record label to release it to the world!"

Metal Blade founder Brian Slagel concurs, "Super excited to welcome Death Ray Vision to the Metal Blade family! We love working with Mike D and look forward to this one!"

Commencing writing in late 2018 following a tour with Killswitch Engage — who share bassist D'Antonio with DRV — the band had a lot of creative momentum still burning following that year's Negative Mental Attitude and kept it rolling.  The results will demonstrate that they are playing at the top of their game.  "We're a lot more cohesive as a band after playing together for so many years, and we've gotten better at songwriting and collaborating to bring out the best in everyone’s ideas," says guitarist Pete Cortese.

A further new dimension affecting the sound is the addition of vocalist Keith Bennett to the band's ranks, who the existing members knew would be the perfect fit from his time with notable acts Wrecking Crew, Panzerbastard (both of whom shared the stage with Cortese and D'Antonio's other band Overcast), and Ramallah. "Keith brings a whole lot of piss and vinegar, with a side of street cred. He brought a new sense of enthusiasm and excitement and got us even more fired up to make a great record," says Cortese. Guitarist Chris Rosati adds, "Creatively speaking, Keith is a force of nature. His ability to get inside a new song and quickly come up with vocals and lyrics is really something to witness."

Expect great things from DEATH RAY VISION in 2023!

DEATH RAY VISION ARE:
Keith Bennett — Vocals
Chris Rosati — Guitar/vocals
Pete Cortese — Guitar
Mike D'Antonio — Bass
Colin Conway — Drums

OAK Shares Music Video for New Song, "Disintegrate II"

Portuguese death doom duo OAK is now presenting a blistering new music video for "Disintegrate II," which is the second single from their upcoming full-length, 'Disintegrate.' 'Disintegrate II' is an extraction taken from the full album, which in true doom metal form, consists of one devastating 45-minute long song. The clip can be found at THIS LOCATION.

The band's choice to incorporate fire and ash into their video is to represent one of the earth's most devastating and cleansing elements, contrasting their choice of snow used in the clip for "Disintegrate I." ICYMI: The clip can be found below.

OAK comments: "A circle of fire surrounds a pillar of blood that dissipates into the air. The red ashes float lightly and scatter the soul across the flames. This excerpt "Disintegrate II" explores the darkest emotions in a violent, earth-shattering approach."

Pre-sales for 'Disintegrate are now live HERE while the album can be pre-saved on streaming services HERE.

With the birth of their first full-length album ‘Lone’ in 2019, atmospheric death doom duo OAK emerged from Portugal with a slow and steady force, like roots breaking concrete. After four years of slumber, the band has awakened like the old gods, ready to release utter suffering and devastation onto the masses with its sophomore effort, ‘Disintegrate.’ For nearly 45 unforgiving minutes, this mournful maelstrom drags the listener asunder, while tormented growls and agonizing riffs echo deep despair within the atmospheric abyss.

OAK’s path was forged by two kindred musicians; the mysterious pair recognized that they were an unstoppable force together when it came to creating painful, emotionally driven music. “We always wanted it to be a duo because of how fluid our jams have always been and this freedom we get when writing for OAK is really one thing that drives us,” explains the band.

The writing process took place under the cover of darkness, setting an intimate mood for the record’s creation. The pair worked with a totally clean slate, writing everything organically in their sessions together rather than coming with prepared compositions or ideas. As project took shape and began to come into its own identity, it yielded OAK’s agonizing and ferocious sound.  “We can have clean guitars, clean vocals, distortion, deep grunts, whispers, slow beats, blast beats, ghost notes and all this glues together nicely,” says OAK of the project’s many textures and layers.

Thematically, ‘Disintegrate’ tells the epic tale of a Titanic Giant who seeks to be unburdened from carrying the weight of the world, demonstrating that even the strongest have a threshold for just how much pain and heaviness they can endure.

However, the story doesn’t end here as this is only the first chapter of the Giant’s tale. “We are continuing our jam sessions and writing more and more. We will grow further with each release in the attempt of making our sound almost visible/cinematic. We need to tell the story of this giant's burden and liberation through our music and lyrics. We feel like there is much more to be told.“

General on-sale for remaining tickets will begin on Thursday, January 26th.

For full dates, info and tickets head to www.entershikari.com

Enter Shikari are today announcing that their highly anticipated new album, A Kiss For The Whole World, will be released on 21st April via SO Recordings / Ambush Reality. The band are also sharing the album’s lead single ‘(pls) set me on fire’ as well as news of some very special monthly residency shows in the UK this Spring. Listen to ‘(pls) set me on fire’ below and pre-order A Kiss For The Whole World here

Limited formats of the new album come packaged with the Live From Alexandra Palace 3 album & DVD, recorded live in December 2021 at the band’s sold out 10,000 capacity London show.

As the calendar now signals three years since Enter Shikari last released an album - their UK #2 charting album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible – it is useful to think back to the final question the band last posed fans: “Is this a new beginning? / Or are we close to the end?” Little could they know just how close to the end things would end up feeling as the events of the early ‘20s dimmed the light in the furnace of their live juggernaut, and connection to their fans. “At the time it felt like we ourselves, as musicians, were experiencing the death of our band,” says lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds.

Unsurprisingly, the key in the band’s ignition came in the form of a live show as they headlined the Download Festival Pilot in front of 10,000 fans. Where not a single new word flowed from the pen of Reynolds in the two years prior, a realisation was born that would come to define the band’s seventh LP: “I just didn’t realise that the human and physical connection to other people were so central to how I write,” he says. Enter Shikari isn’t just four people – it’s hundreds of thousands.

As new single ‘(pls) set me on fire’ heralds the next stage in the band’s evolution, the first words we hear from Enter Shikari 2.0 don’t come in the form of a question this time, but a command: “Please set me on fire”. In other words, ignite the spark inside us and set us free. This may be a new Enter Shikari but they’ve lost nothing in their flair for bold opening gambits.

Reynolds comments on the single’s conception:

"Honestly, I thought I was f*****. I’ve never felt so detached from my soul, my purpose, my f****** spirit. I didn’t write music for almost two years. The longest I’d gone before that was two weeks. I was broken. It’s almost as if my brain had asked: “What is the point in music if it cannot be shared? What is the point in writing music if it’s not to be experienced with others?” and then promptly switched itself off. ‘(pls) set me on fire’ grew out of that desperation. This song is a projectile vomit of positive energy. Every emotion trapped inside me for two years, finally set free.”

It was in the Spring of 2022 that the band descended to the coastal town of Chichester, and a delapidated farmhouse, to rebuild their studio setup and capture their renewed momentum on record. Using only solar power to track the album – in what Reynolds says was to “bring back some sense of naivety” – the life-giving properties and Technicolor palate of A Kiss For The Whole World were made real. Reynolds continues:

“Back to basics. This band - my best friends - bundled into an old farmhouse, miles away from anywhere. Off-grid, and ready to rediscover ourselves. This album is powered by the sun, the most powerful object in our solar system. And I think you can tell. It’s a collection of songs that represent an explosive reconnection with what Enter Shikari is. The beginning of our second act”.

Justin Bundy, Mark Pistone (Carry us through), Jey Collins (Solus Deus) aligned with local slammers Hector Gonzalez (Phobia) and Austin D'amond (Bleed the Sky) to evolve a destructive yet harmonious sound. The design to construct an infectious blend of beautiful calamity to bury both our own and others demons under the rubble.

Sólstafir Shares Bloody New Music Video for 'Dionysus'

Icelandic post metal band SÓLSTAFIR is now revealing a brand new music video for the song, "Dionysus," taken from their 2020 full-length, 'Endless Twilight of Codependent Love.' The bloody performance clip can be found below.

At its core, the music video for 'Dionysus' is an allegory for the inner-violence and tragedy of substance abuse, and for the struggle with an endless twilight of codependent love, inherent.

'Dionysus' was produced and filmed in Reykjavík (IS) between August and October 2021, and edited at the Don’t Panic Films studio in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). While the video was originally shot in 8K, the finished product was scanned in its entirety onto 35mm film stock for release.

'Endless Twilight of Codependent Love' can be streamed, ordered, and downloaded HERE.

A quarter of a century after singer/guitarist Aðalbjörn "Addi" Tryggvason co-founded atmospheric Icelandic metal quartet Sólstafir, they continue to follow their cardinal rule – that there are no rules. For them, writing an epic 10-minute song without a traditional verse/chorus trade-off feels natural. While they have done two albums in English, he mainly sings in their native tongue and his vocals are as much an instrument as a vessel for words. Their videos equally showcase the band and their Icelandic world that they commune with.

And their music flows however it pleases. “Having been a metal band for a long time and gone through shoegaze, atmospheric black metal, and post rock, I just feel privileged being able to mix all my favorite genres and get away with it,” says Tryggvason.

In the world of Sólstafir, artists as varied as The Beatles, Kraftwerk, Darkthrone, Ennio Morricone, and Billy Corgan swirl inside their heads, and such influences seep into their musical ether. Funnily enough, the cover for the group’s latest album Endless Twilight of Codependent Love might remind one of a famous Smashing Pumpkins album cover.

Painted in watercolor by Johann Baptist Zwecker in 1864, The Lady of the Mountain is the female personification of Iceland. It was first published in a book of Icelandic folk tales but was never shown in public. A black and white woodblock replica by the artist is what Icelanders have known until recently when two citizens found the original hidden in a Welsh museum gallery where it had been in storage for a century. Now it is back home and adorning the cover of the new Sólstafir album.

“Everybody knows the image of the Lady of the Mountain,” declares Tryggvason. All of a sudden, the original pops up and it’s like, ‘Oh my god, these are the most beautiful colors I've ever seen. And why does it remind me of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness?’ So that's purely accidental. When we saw this photo, we had to use it. It's too beautiful.”

While early Sólstafir lyrics delved into Nordic mythology and critiques of organized religion, more recent songs explore their spiritual connection with nature, and lately, mental disorders ranging from depression to alcoholism and the taboo behind men in particular discussing those things for fear of being perceived weak.

“That’s the real darkness that you can't see, but you can feel it and people around you can feel it,” explains Tryggvason. “Of course, there are serial killers and plagues and whatever through history. But in modern day life, that's the true darkness around you. People kill themselves every day, and often people close to you who have been feeling so bad.”

He says the most personal song on Endless Twilight of Codependent Love is “Her Fall From Grace,” the lone track in English. It chronicles the pain of watching a loved one succumb to mental illness.

“It's very sad when you love someone and you see them get sick,” muses Tryggvason. “Like Layne Staley said, ‘Slow suicide is no way to go.’ But you’re just watching on the audience bench, preparing for the phone call. ‘Hey man, Johnny's dead.’ ‘All right, I knew Johnny was gonna die. I've been watching him in slow motion.’” He likens the experience to seeing a relative or parent be consumed by Alzheimer’s and turn into a different person than one remembers.

Although the band’s lyrics are predominately in Icelandic, that does not prevent outside listeners from appreciating the emotional power of their music. It has been said that many fans can feel his pain even if they do not overtly understand what he is singing about.

A beautiful moment in that regard occurred when Sólstafir played Bogota, Colombia in September 2017. It was the smallest show on their South American tour, and they presumed it would not be as lively. The 300 strong throng proved them wrong. “It felt like I was in Queen at Wembley Stadium,” Tryggvason recollects fondly. “They sang every goddamn word in Icelandic. How can you explain that?”

Such passionate reactions have not gone unnoticed in their homeland. Iceland picked Sólstafir to play a total of six events New York City, Seattle, and Toronto last fall called “Taste Of Iceland.” Tryggvason says the band enjoyed the event and their intimate industry showcases at Pianos (NYC) and Livenation (Toronto) during that same trip.

Counter-intuitive thinking has helped Sólstafir evolve and mature. The new track “Or” opens with a languid, bluesy feeling but gradually transforms into an angst-ridden, guitar-driven dirge. When they conjured their breakthrough song “Fjara” in 2011, the group feared its mellow nature might put off their longtime metal followers. Instead, they embraced it. That tune, along with the ambient, banjo-laden track “Ótta,” allowed the group to play both the Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic five years ago and then a family-friendly music event in the Netherlands the next weekend. The new rager “Dionysus” even features a return to their black metal roots that was not planned; the song just turned out that way over a year-long span.

“Our audience grew bigger and more diverse by us just being ourselves and doing nothing different really,” notes Tryggvason.

One of the joys for him and his bandmates – bassist Svavar "Svabbi" Austmann, guitarist Sæþór Maríus "Pjúddi" Sæþórsson, and newer drummer Hallgrímur Jón "Grimsi" Hallgrímsson, who contributed some lyrics this time out – is that their perception of how their new music will turn out never corresponds with reality. It is that unknown factor that keeps things exciting.

You can never foresee band magic,” declares Tryggvason. “The whole purpose of this is cooking up magic. And if you're cooking up magic with four or five weirdos, you can never foresee what's going to happen. You can't buy that. You have to live it or grow it.”

Bloodbather Are Back With Video For New Single "As You Die"

Broward County, Florida-based metal band and scene disruptors Bloodbather have shared the video for their brand new single "As You Die." Watch it below.

The song is the first new material from the band since 2021.

"As You Die' is about the realization of betrayal by the ones closest to you," the band shares. "It features the rejoining of our previous vocalist Jeffrey Georges with vocals by Salem Vex. A new chapter and a restart for the band moving forward."

ABOUT BLOODBATHER:
Formed in 2018, Bloodbather stormed out of the gates of Broward County with the independent EP Pressure. The group steadily built its live reputation by sharing the stage with everyone from Whitechapel to Carnifex to Of Mice & Men, and by appearing at the notable This Is Hardcore festival. The genre-blurring band earned acclaim from Kerrang!, Invisible Oranges, and more. The band signed with Rise Records in 2019 and subsequently hit the studio in Tennessee alongside producer Tate Mercer [Better Off, Chamber, Hampton].

Bloodbather released the Silence EP, which served as their Rise Records debut, in 2020. Since then, the band has been christened an "Artist You Need To Know" by Revolver, which lauded the band's ability to craft "nasty, gnarly metallic hardcore rendered all the more suffocating by layers of industrial texture" and featured them in a multi-page spread. Accolades followed from Alternative Press, Gear Gods, Lambgoat, and more. Armed with a take-no-prisoners approach, Bloodbather most certainly appeal to fans of Code Orange, Knocked Loose, and Vein.

NYC's Gramercy Arms share Magic Door Session for 'Yesterday's Girl', previewing 'Deleted Scene' LP

"Gentle and perfectly arranged, it is both calming and genuine, straightforward and talented, giving space and voice everywhere that the song and its story requires. A hidden Americana-indiepop gem, Gramercy Arms show that music truly is a journey"~ The Spill Magazine

"A slice of mature, soulful pop, gentle and refined, a swirl of gorgeous boy-girl harmonies, laced with elegant guitar lines and the perfect balance between a slightly nostalgic then and a now calling out for such astute, chart-friendly pop. A future classic" ~ Big Takeover Magazine

"Melancholic yet radiant, emotively shadowed but joyfully rousing, Yesterday’s Girl swiftly and keenly had the body swinging and pleasure bubbling, its melodic jangle and rhythmic kneading just as magnetic" ~ Ringmaster Review

To kick off the brand new year, NYC indie rock outfit Gramercy Arms is releasing an acoustic performance of their Americana-tinged single 'Yesterday’s Girl', recorded live at the Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair, NJ.

'Yesterday's Girl', a bittersweet remembrance of love lost and friendship regained, is the first single from their 'Deleted Scene' album, scheduled for release via the Magic Door Record Label in spring of 2023. The colorful video for the album version was directed by acclaimed visual artist Debora Francis.

Co-written by Gramercy Arms frontman Dave Derby and music legend Lloyd Coleand originally penned for Darlene Love’s solo album 'Introducing Darlene Love', the song was artfully reimagined by Derby and producer Ray Ketchem as a duet with Derby and Renée Lo Bue (Elk City, Flowers of America).

Gramercy Arms is a revolving New York-based collective of musicians and artists, masterminded by Dave Derby (The Dambuilders, Lloyd Cole). Inspired by the artistic heyday of ‘70s and ‘80s-era New York City, Gramercy Arms makes addictive indie pop - exquisite hook-laden melodies filled with lyrics that will have you floating back in time, remembering your favorite mistake.

Produced, recorded and mixed by Ray Ketchem (Guided By Voices, Luna, Elk City) at Magic Door Recording with additional recording by Lloyd Cole, this album was mastered by award-winning engineer Greg Calbi (John Lennon, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Tom Petty, Bill Frisell, Todd Rundgren).

“As I recall, we wrote very quickly hoping to channel Springsteen channeling Spector, with copious help from Blanton’s of Kentucky,” says Lloyd Cole.  “I’d completely forgotten it until Dave presented this version and it feels like I won the lottery. It is wonderful. Very happy to have my name in the credits."

Renée Lo Bue discusses recording the song: “Being asked to sing 1/2 of the lead part on "Yesterday's Girl" was a wonderful surprise. I showed up at Magic Door Recording prepared to do backing vocals. It was Ray Ketchem who suggested a duet during the session. It's an honor to sing the female lead part on a Lloyd Cole/Dave Derby penned song originally written for Darlene Love …”

Lyrically driven and rich on vocal-harmony, interspersed with elements of 60s sunshine pop and folk-rock, 'Deleted Scene' is the group’s third full-length album, following 'The Seasons of Love' (2012) and 'Gramercy Arms'. This star-studded affair involves members of Guided by Voices, Phillip Glass Ensemble, The Dambuilders, Nada Surf, Luna, Elk City, Aeon Station, The Little River Band, Lloyd Cole and the Negatives, Elk City and Joan As Police Woman, among others.

'Yesterday's Girl' is out now, available across online platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify, as well as Bandcamp, where the album can be pre-ordered.

South Carolina's The Yets share dreamy Cocteau Twins-inspired single "Letter To A Boy' from debut EP

"An exquisite sonic document that manages to make life's various events, including disappointments and tragedy, sound heavenly, gently gliding through this series of compositions" ~ Amplify Music Magazine

"An almost perfect union between prime Cocteau Twins and prime mid-seventies (or any period) L.A. version of Fleetwood Mac, with Wilson’s vocals and Snook’s guitars at the forefront" ~ Rock At Night Magazine

"Steeped in the tropes of quintessential vintage alternative pop... With a broad pallet of tuneful wistfulness and textured, layered instrumentation, coupled with some smart and sensitive production, The Yets have landed with a seriously accomplished debut" ~ Aural Aggravation

What better way to announce the new year than with a letter? South Carolina-based alternative pop duo The Yets are doing just that with their new video for 'Letter To A Boy'.  This is the latest offering from their self-titled EP, a six-track debut offering indie pop sensation and sonic temptation with a fresh, but seemingly familiar, adult alternative vibe.

Haunting, dynamic and smooth, they transform the classic to contemporary, counting Roxy Music, David Bowie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cult, Cocteau Twins, Pink Floyd and even Soundgarden among their musical influences.

The Yets is the creative union of Robin Wilson on vocals and guitarist-producer Craig Anderson Snook, who met when Robin returned to her home state after some years in Georgia. Earlier, the duo released two audio-visual offerings for the singles 'Remember' and 'Lesser Evil'.

“Somewhere at the intersection of sound and emotion lies the description of those things we all treasure the most, 'Letter To A Boy' is about that special feeling a mother has for her son. It’s unique and difficult to express. It's extremely hard to put so much feeling into so few words.  Lyrically, it’s the most challenging I’ve ever done.  It’s also the most rewarding,” says Robin Wilson.

Based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, their music combines elements of ethereal pop and popular rock classics with a sound embracing Fleetwood Mac and Cocteau Twins in equal measure. Breeding and bearing a distinct Americana lining, this EP is an emotively cast and atmospherically delightful proposition.

"In a very general sense, this album is about life:  the passage of time, relationships and the consequences of the choices we make along the way. I’ve always wanted to bare my musical soul, but never had the right vehicle. That musical soul has always wanted to speak to the world, but never had the right voice. The Yets is that vehicle and Robin is that voice,” says Craig Anderson Snook, who has performed semi-professionally since he was 13. His musical passion led him beyond cover bands into composition, arrangement, audio engineering, production and ultimately to running his own Royal Terns Records label and studio, where he recorded, mixed and produced the new EP.

After being immersed in the music scene while in high school, Robin found her way to the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where she fronted the goth-rock band Bachelors of Art (B.O.A.). Upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, she fronted the female alt-rock group Skirt, touring the USA extensively and supporting numerous high profile acts.

“My previous musical endeavors were always hard rock-based. I wasn’t involved with the actual songwriting, except for my vocal melodies and lyrics. With The Yets, I’ve broken that mold, helping to compose and produce a whole new sound. I’ve combined my artwork and media arts degree into the whole creative package. We recorded and produced our own CD in our own studio. We created our own videos and designed and built our own website," says Robin Wilson.

'The Yets' EP is out now, streamable via Spotify and available to order, digitally or on CD, directly from the band via Bandcamp.

HEAVY PETTIN Dominate Leyendas del Rock 2022!

Scottish, Heavy Rock legends HEAVY PETTIN have released the live video from their electrifying performance at Leyendas del Rock! Signed with MUSIC GALLERY INTERNATIONAL, Heavy Pettin is managed by Shawn Barusch and Lee Langton

"Hey guys it’s Hamie coming attacha Live !!!! Hope u like our new Video … Taken from the Heavy Pettin European tour 22…. This show was in Spain August 5th at the famous.

Leyendas del Rock Festival. A Hot ‘ N ‘ Sweaty Rockin Night…….Hope you like it. !!! Can’t wait for u guys to hear the new single and Album this Summer. Till then Take It Lite" - Hamie

When they first burst out of Glasgow in 1981, they were vibrant, priapic, anthemic and focused. As they showed on a three-tarck demo, and on the subsequent debut single for independent label Neat (‘Roll The Dice’/’Love Xs Love’), they were much much more than mere Def Leppard slaves. In fact, the Pettin had an international sound that owed something to AC/DC, UFO, Thin Lizzy and Foreigner, but also had its own raging momentum. Not that the band found the road forward straightforward. But, thanks to a work ethic that took them around the country, plus a valuable session for Radio 1’s prestigious ‘Friday Rock Show’, the band eventually landed a crucial deal with the major Polydor Records. Moreover, their 1983 debut album (Lettin’ Loose) was co-produced by the creative Mack…together with Queen guitarist Brian May. Now, that’s pedigree.

Amazingly, that album has survived more than 25 years of high-speed, hi-tech developments intact. While other, more celebrated records have dated badly, Lettin’ Loose re-affirms the belief back then that the Pettin would plunge to big time stature. What went wrong at the time has little to do with band, or lack of ambition/talent. In America, where they should have broken big, long before Bon Jovi gave Love A Bad Name, they were held back by the label’s insistence on an anaemic re-mix (as well as a title change to ‘Heavy Pettin’, which caused more confusion than anything else). If the band’s essential, vital British brio had been left as conceived in the first place, who knows what might have been achieved.

Still, a slot on the bill for the 1983 Reading Festival, the day that Black Sabbath infamously headlined when fronted by Ian Gillan, did them no harm. And touring with both Kiss and Ozzy helped the quintet’s progress.

Two years later, the Pettin return to the studio, this time with producer Mark Dearnley (who’d worked with AC/DC and Krokus). The result? Rock Ain’t Dead, which surprised many with a slicker yet conversely tougher approach. The lads really had progressed, although ironically if things had gone to plan, this would have been produced by Lance Quinn, of Bon Jovi and Lita Fordfame. However, just hours before the band were due to fly to Philadelphia, to work with Quinn at his Warehouse Studios, the decision was taken by PolyGram (to whom both Heavy Pettin and Bon Jovi were signed in the US) that, instead, he should start work immediately on what was to be Jovi’s second record, 7800 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Perhaps then, it should have been obvious that record company politics were to scupper Pettin.. A third album, The Big Bang, was released by FM Revolver in 1989 – and still proved this lot were way ahead of so many others who were selling truckloads of ‘units’ and getting acclaim from the media But, as the 1980s faded into memory, so too did Heavy Pettin.

However, what has happened over the past two decades is that every so often, people will dust down those Pettin recordings, scratch their heads in confusion and wonder what went wrong. Well, recriminations never help; they only serve to fuel frustrations. But now the band are back ! – not for nostalgic reasons, not re- capture a long past youth. Not to right past wrongs. But to make music. So, here we are, not looking backwards to those years, when this lot were ready to take on the world and toured with Motley Crue and Ratt. No, this is about the 21st Century. Driven by a desire, passion, and a capacity simply to invoke the simple magic and rapport of what this band once stood for. Since stepping back out in 2017 the new line up fronted by frontman Stephen “Hamie” Hayman, the band have been going about the business of reclaiming their reputation as a “tour de force” live. 2018 saw them on tour in the UK with American legends Angel. 2019 a headline set at HRH hell followed by another headline appearance this time in Germany at the Headbangers festival, rounding off the year with another tour around the UK with Rockgoddess. 2020 promised to be the best yet, starting off with the amazing Monsters of Rock Cruise X followed by another headline festival appearance at the Brofest festival in Newcastle. Then of course Covid happened! In August 2022 after which felt like an eternity the band went out on a run of shows that would see them play in 5 deferent countries across Europe. Kicking off with a headline slot at the Legends of Rock Festival followed by a triumphant return to their hometown of Glasgow as “Special guests” to the legend that is Michael Schenker! The band have their eyes set firmly on 2023. This will be the 40th anniversary of the debut album Letting Loose. To mark the occasion a new remastered version of the Brian May produced original is slated for a March release followed by a run of shows. The plan is to record these shows for a 40th anniversary Live release later in the year. During the lock down period a new album was written, which is high on the agenda to round off 2023. With a new management deal and solid line up in place the future looks bright. Rock ain’t Dead!
