NightNight is the electronic project from Yasmeen Night, residing in Brooklyn, NY. 

Her upcoming full length release More Weight, is produced by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave). The album uses modular synths, found sounds, and live instrumentation to transport the listener to a place where we ask hard questions and seek for truth. Additionally, unreleased tracks from the record have been remixed by Johnny Hostile (Jehnny Beth, Savages) and A Place to Bury Strangers

NightNight has previously released material produced by the legendary Sylvia Massy (Prince, Tool, System Of A Down) and Jeff Berner from Psychic TV. Her first full length album Love Decayed spawned a remix EP featuring Void Visions and John Fryer.

VCTMS return with a dark, aggressive nu-metal x metalcore track fueled by revenge and emotional exploitation. CELESTIAL DEATH Release New Single “Death of an Empire”

Atlanta, Georgia blackened death metal band CELESTIAL DEATH have released their new single, “Death of an Empire.” The track marks a defining step forward for the band and solidifies their identity within the modern extreme metal underground. 

“Death of an Empire” delivers a fierce combination of tremolo-picked triplet arpeggios, relentless blast beats, and groove-driven black metal melody. The song opens with waltz-like tremolo phrasing before erupting into rapid-fire percussion and layered death metal riffing. From its first moments through its closing passages, the track moves with cinematic intensity and calculated aggression, showcasing the band’s fully realized sound.

Lyrically, “Death of an Empire” explores the collapse of powerful systems through the perspective of a lone survivor walking through the ruins of a devastated city. The imagery is vivid and confrontational, focusing on urban decay, environmental destruction, and the consequences of unchecked power. Opening lines such as, “The ruins of this city speak to me, in a language only I can understand,” set the tone for a narrative steeped in post-apocalyptic reflection.

The single addresses themes of ecological strain, corporate manipulation, warfare, and societal division. Jessup emphasizes collective responsibility and awareness, urging listeners to consider the long-term consequences of exploitation and polarization. About CELESTIAL DEATH:

Rising from the Atlanta metal underground, CELESTIAL DEATH was forged in 2023 by guitarist and vocalist Forrest Jessup and drummer Matthew Carmichael. The band began under the name IMPERII with a different lineup but underwent a rebirth when Matt took over on drums. This marked a turning point where Forrest decided to rename, rebrand, and reimagine the project as CELESTIAL DEATH, channeling a darker and more atmospheric vision. Soon after, guitarist Jason Schwartzwalder joined the fold, bringing with him years of experience from acts such as MOTHER’S TOMB, KHAOTIKA, and BRUTALITY. Their most recent single “Aeons,” written during Forrest’s most turbulent years, explore Lovecraftian imagery and catastrophic narratives that have become central to the band’s identity.

TX2 Drops New Single "Murder Scene" Featuring Magnolia Park

LA-based alt-rock artist TX2 has today released his debut album End Of Us via Hopeless Records. The 13-track album features collaborations with Black Veil Brides, Magnolia Park, Ice Nine Kills, DeathbyRomy, and Ekoh, and arrives after a decade of building one of heavy music's most polarizing and devoted fanbases. “After 11 years of building toward this moment, the band and I are excited to unveil our debut album, ‘End of Us’, structured as a rock opera. Each single leading up to this release has told a story painting the larger album theme of, ‘The Resistance’, the final survivors in a world devastated by a vampire holocaust. I hope the story we’ve told through our debut album reminds the X Movement and those all around us that they cannot erase us.”

End Of Us marks a turning point for an artist who did what most won't: weaponized being the internet's punching bag and turned online hate into undeniable momentum. With 1 million monthly Spotify listeners, 1.3 million TikTok followers, and 100 million streams on previously released singles before the album even dropped, TX2 turned algorithmic outrage into a self-sustaining business outside traditional development models.

The album collects previously released singles including "The End of Us" featuring Black Veil Brides, "Murder Scene" featuring Magnolia Park, "HOSTAGE (they will not erase us)," "The Rain," "Feed" featuring DeathbyRomy, and "Nice Guy" featuring Ekoh, alongside new tracks that complete the album's narrative arc. Between them, the previously released songs generated 100 million streams and 42 million TikTok likes in the last 12 months alone.

TX2 has earned co-signs from Caleb Shomo, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Magnolia Park, and From First to Last while building the X Movement, a Discord-based mental health community with thousands of active members. As an openly queer artist, his refusal to sanitize his advocacy has made him both a target and a lifeline.

Thomas describes the album's sound as "punk meets vampire-core with an Eminem edge," drawing from influences like My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Black Veil Brides, and Linkin Park while carving out space entirely his own. He self-directed all music videos alongside guitarist Cameron Rostami with horror aesthetics inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

TX2 begins his US "End of Us" headline tour this month before heading to Australia with Rain City Drive in March, followed. ABOUT TX2

TX2 is the project of Los Angeles-based artist Evan Thomas, known for raw, emotionally charged alt-rock that refuses to play by the rules. ABOUT THE HELLACOPTERS

Less than three years after their triumphant, chart-storming comeback record, Eyes Of Oblivion, which entered on #1 in their home country, on #3 in Germany, and on #6 in Finland, Sweden's most consistently great rock outfit is back with another banger of an album called Overdriver, due out on January 31st, 2025.

In the meantime, THE HELLACOPTERS have celebrated their triumphant return by playing a show with the mighty Iron Maiden in Gothenburg in July 2022, and gigs with Ghost in Germany in June 2023, apart from their own string of headline shows throughout Europe. Eager to keep the rock flowing, February 16th, 2024 saw THE HELLACOPTERS release not one, but two stunning versions of their classic Grande Rock album, which was originally released in 1999. Grande Rock Revisited included a remastered original version and a remixed and partially re-recorded version as a companion piece, showing how the album could have sounded in a parallel universe with guitarist Dregen being in the band at the time. After making rock grande again, the group set sights on new material, debuting the phenomenal single 'Stay With You'  in May 2024 and releasing it as limited 7inch via Lightning Records.

Their ninth full-length Overdriver was recorded at Strawberry Studio & The Honk Palace and is the first HELLACOPTERS album entirely produced by Nicke Andersson. As you might expect from a HELLACOPTERS album it's filled to the brim with roaring guitars and earth-shattering grooves, fist-raising energy and anthemic choruses, while keeping the variety richer than ever before. CURSED AWAKENING Unleashes New Single "Past Newtonium," A Relentless Harbinger Of The Next Album

Chicago death metal band CURSED AWAKENING (FKA - ARRHYTHMIA) returns with their new single "Past Newtonium," a punishing new track that serves as the first warning of a full length album coming later in 2026.

To sum up "Past Newtonium" in one word, unrelenting. The song opens with a slow and deceptively restrained introduction before rapidly giving way to steady, ferocious triplet feel chugging. Razor sharp riffing drives the track forward as it erupts into a blistering Kerry King esque solo. The final moments descend into a brutal breakdown filled with screaming pinch harmonics, before returning to the intro riff to seal the track with grim finality.

Lyrically, "Past Newtonium" reflects a moment in the album where panic and overwhelming self disgust take center stage. The themes focus on self loathing, irreversible mistakes, and the suffocating realization of one’s own perceived corruption, reinforcing the psychological weight carried throughout the record.

Most of the riffs for "Past Newtonium" were written by rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Abraham Verdin, with the song’s ominous intro drawing inspiration from BEHEMOTH’s "Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel." The result is a track that blends old school death metal aggression with deliberate pacing, thrash influenced precision, and non standard song structure.

At the heart of De Venom Natura lies a central concept: Nature as both seduction and toxin, creation and annihilation. The record contemplates poison not as mere destruction, but as a transformative agent within an eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth. Across seven tracks, including “Lunga vita alla necrosi,” and “Il veleno della Natura,” the band articulate this duality through ritualistic repetition, lyrical invocations and a tension-driven sonic architecture.

Emerging from Turin’s underground in 2020, Ponte Del Diavolo have forged a distinct identity rooted in doom, black metal, post-punk and wave. Their uncommon dual-bass configuration remains central to the project’s character, grounding rhythmic guitars beneath wave-tinged female vocals and a raw, dynamic drum pulse. PONTE DEL DIAVOLO craft a focused blend of doom, black metal, post‐punk, and wave—an aesthetic they call “blackened post‐punk.” Wave‐tinged female vocals anchor the project’s flaming core, supported by an uncommon dual‐bass setup that grounds the rhythmic guitars and a raw, dynamic drum pulse.

The result is an immersive, tension‐driven sound. Following the initial release of three EPs, the band signed to Season of Mist and unveiled their first full-length album, Fire Blades from the Tomb.

Emerging out from the shadows, folk metal ensemble FORGOTTEN SHRINE, comprised of Josh Alexander and Sofia Frasz (EXILED HOPE), present an explosive and thrilling cover of BREAKING BENJAMIN's "Crawl". 

Josh Alexander shares: "BREAKING BENJAMIN brings me back to a much simpler time of Halo LAN parties and hard rock, which we now call 'dad rock'. When Sofia approached me with the idea I was very excited because this song has almost no covers to be found online. And being that we are FORGOTTEN SHRINE, we had to put our own spin on things as far as the arrangement, both vocally and musically, evoking an almost horror vibe. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks!"

Sofia Frasz comments: "BREAKING BENJAMIN was the soundtrack to my middle school and high school years, and remains one of my favorite bands to this day. A few months ago, I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to cover a song that no one else seemed to pay much attention to. I had a specific idea for a cinematic cover of 'Crawl' in my head, and it turned out so beautifully that we couldn't wait to release it. I'm my own worst critic and almost never listen to my own music, but I've had this one on repeat on and off since we finished it back in November. I'm proud to have put such a special new twist on what I consider to be an underrated classic."

FORGOTTEN SHRINE create an eerie atmosphere in "Crawl" from the off with ethereal traditional instruments and haunting choir voices building into the heavy riffs. Enchanting folk parts, along with both Frasz and Alexander's clean vocals, are powerfully juxtaposed with heavy distortion and their fierce harsh. It's an enchanting and charismatic take on a noughties fan favorite.

modern edge, bridging classic rock influence and Gen Z energy.
