ERRA Share Visualizer for New Single "Echo Sonata"

Prolific metalcore progressives ERRA — J.T. Cavey, vocals; Jesse Cash, vocals + guitars; Conor Hesse, bass; Alex Ballew, drums; and Clint Tustin, guitar — dropped the new song "Gore of Being" last week. Watch the video here. It was the first new music from the band since 2024's critically acclaimed CURE and was lauded by Rock Sound for its "stunning collision of brutality and melody we've come to expect from the band" and by Knotfest as "a potent meld of precision and power."

They've followed it immediately with another typically brainy metallic track titled "Echo Sonata."

Watch the visualizer and listen below.

The song nods to both ERRA's past and its future!

"'Echo Sonata' feels like a return to form for the band," explains Cash. "It hearkens back to the spirit of our Drift album, something we didn't initially plan on but something our friends were quick to point out when we were showing them the song. It's a proper representation of the kind of melody and emotion we're going for on the next record."

ERRA will hit the road this summer as main suport for Architects. All dates are below.

Whiskey Myers Introduce "Midnight Woman;" New Album 'Whomp Whack Thunder' Arrives 9/26

As anticipation builds for Whomp Whack Thunder, their first new album in three years, Whiskey Myers continue to peel back the curtain on what’s to come with the release of “Midnight Woman,” available everywhere now. Listen Below and pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.

Following the hard-hitting “Tailspin” and fiery lead single “Time Bomb” – currently climbing the Top 40 at Active Rock radio, further solidifying Whiskey Myers’ growing crossover appeal – “Midnight Woman” showcases a different kind of power. The track’s swampy intro explodes into a hard-driving groove laced with classic rock energy. Equal parts grit and seduction, it paints the portrait of a spellbinding force of nature:

“‘Midnight Woman’ is that raw, late-night energy you can’t shake off – part voodoo, part rock ’n’ roll fever dream,” shares lead singer Cody Cannon. “It’s about the kind of woman who doesn’t just walk into your life – she storms in like thunder and leaves you dizzy in her wake.”

The latest release adds to the excitement for Whiskey Myers’ highly anticipated seventh studio album arriving Sept. 26 via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records. Born from the piney woods of East Texas and shaped in the soul of Nashville during an immersive three weeks with renowned producer Jay Joyce – known for bringing edge, atmosphere and unpredictability to every project (Eric Church, Cage the Elephant, Halestorm, Lainey Wilson) – Whomp Whack Thunder is a strong statement from the multi-Platinum independent band.

“We didn’t set out to chase a specific sound – we set out to make a Whiskey Myers record,” reflects lead guitarist John Jeffers. “Jay pulled something out of us that’s raw and real, and every track’s got a piece of our story in it. This album’s about where we’ve been, what we’ve lived and the scars we earned along the way – and I think Whomp Whack Thunder might just be our most fearless album yet.”

Whomp Whack Thunder is the sound of a band at the height of its powers, marrying Southern swagger with arena-sized rock and soul-searching songwriting. Cannon penned all eleven tracks solo, delivering stories that hit with the emotional weight of lived experience and the firepower of the band’s signature sound to craft a record born of the road and shaped by nearly two decades of defiant, grassroots momentum.

The forthcoming album features the full force of the six piece – Cannon (vocals, guitar), Jeffers (guitar), Cody Tate (guitar), Jamey Gleaves (bass), Jeff Hogg (drums) and Tony Kent (percussion, piano) – with Joyce also contributing keys, organ and guitar, crafting a sonic landscape that stretches from greasy blues-rock riffs to gospel-tinged country soul.

Ahead of the fall release, fans can catch early previews of the new music with the What We Were Born To Do Tour, hitting a sold-out Nashville stop tomorrow, July 19, and visiting cities across the U.S. throughout the summer. Whiskey Myers also co-headlines 14 dates of the Live in 25 Tour with Tedeschi Trucks Band later this year in addition to headlining their own personally curated Moon Crush “Whiskey Moon” music vacation taking over Miramar Beach, Fla. Nov. 7-9.

Black Veil Brides Debut Video for First New Track of 2025 — The Blistering "Hallelujah"

On the heels of a successful tour alongside Baby Metal, Black Veil Brides are back with their first piece of new music since 2024's chart-topping single "Bleeders." The band — comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma — return to their roots with the aggressive new track "Hallelujah." The Tampa, Florida based choir "One Voice Ensemble" also lent their talents to the recording. The song is being released by their label partners Spinefarm and was produced by Biersack and Pitts. "Hallelujah" is now available via all digital service providers here.

"'Hallelujah' is an important song for us, not only because it is the first track from the new record, but also as a signifier of what's to come for the band. On a narrative level, it represents the themes and ideas I am exploring lyrically on the album. I am fascinated by the current state of discourse and how often we seem to prioritize ideological certainty over the heart and soul of humanity. Over the years, we have developed a tremendous connection with our audience, which is often dismissed or misinterpreted by the 'scene.' We stand at a unique inflection point culturally and I want to be able to speak openly about how much I believe in being true to yourself over the fear of mass hysteria or in-group recriminations," explains Biersack. "When my grandfather's voice spoke to 'the outcasts' in the first moments of our first record in 2010, it was a sincere call to arms for all those who feel different. In many ways this record is the natural evolution of that same idea. This is the heaviest and most vitriolic BVB record by far but more importantly I believe it is the most sincere and honest record we have ever made."

To coincide with the new single, Black Veil Brides are releasing an animated video for "Hallelujah." The video is directed by Marco Pavone (The Black Dahlia Murder, Pink Floyd, Shadow of Intent). The band will continue to release more visual content over the coming months to support the new song. A teaser for the track got fans in a frenzy when it was released last week.

The official music video for "Hallelujah" can be seen below.

The band will also be touring in support of the new single. The song will make its live performance debut at Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA on July 26. Black Veil Brides will also be making appearances at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY (September 20), Rock The Locks Festival in Umatilla, OR (September 26), and Aftershock Festival (October 5) before heading to South America for six headline shows. The We Missed Ourselves Tour 2025 will also feature Underoath, Silverstein, Senses Fail, and I Set My Friends On Fire. Information on all ticket and VIP packages for Black Veil Brides dates can be found here.

Chicago Progressive Metal Aberrants DISSONA Set to Release Next Full-Length Album, 'Receptor,' on October 1, 2025

Beginning production in 2020, 'Receptor' was poised to be the immediate successor to DISSONA’s 2016 album 'Paleopneumatic' before the pandemic dashed the industry’s momentum upon the rocks. Time, however, has a curious way of reviving what was once forced into dormancy. Now completely realized and tangible, 'Receptor' is an electrifying journey that embodies DISSONA’s dynamic and unmistakable approach to the metal medium. DISSONA’s third album, 'Receptor,' is coming on October 1, 2025, via Earache Distribution.

First single, “Receptor”, is available right now for streaming. The title track is the culmination of everything DISSONA has built themselves to be and effectively serves as the overture to the 'Receptor' album. The song is at once a showcase of DISSONA’s inimitable sound, more mature and robust than ever, as well as a scene-setting piece to immerse the listener into the album’s distinct aural realm. Featuring the siren-like guest vocals of Laura Guldemond of Burning Witches fame, “Receptor” bursts forth with ferocious urgency and crackles with a fiery intensity. A churning rhythm section acts as the propulsive undercurrent, carrying waves of raging guitar, seething synth-work, and a powerhouse vocal performance, ultimately cresting to an iconic duet both haunting and captivating. “Receptor” can be heard right now on all streaming platforms and BandCamp.

In regard to the album, DISSONA states:

With 'Receptor,' we challenged ourselves harder than ever before to not only create something that tests our limits as performing musicians, but also burns bright with raw energy and real emotion. It is by far the most dynamic and focused work we have created–unadulterated and unyielding.”

DISSONA’s newest single, "Receptor," is available now digitally on all streaming platforms HERE. Digital and physical pre-orders of the full-length album, 'Receptor,' are available immediately HERE. Physical editions include two bonus tracks that will be unavailable digitally anywhere, ever. Additionally, the physical edition of the album includes a 12-page, hand-drawn art booklet designed solely by lead vocalist, David Dubenic.

The Iron Roses Return With "AGITPOP" EP Out 9/11 + Share "Class War Cheer Squad"

THE IRON ROSES, your favorite provocative punk rockers with a clear mission, are back with a new single that will get the blood coursing through your veins, your fist pumping in the air, and your brain thinking about how to be the change you want to see in the world!

Today, the band, previously lauded by SPIN for being "more ambitious both musically and thematically than most artists choose" and by New Noise as "a great fucking listen," share the new single "Class War Cheer Squad."

Listen below.

The band, now fully independent, will release the 3-song AGITPOP EP on September 11. Pre-order/pre-save it here. [[ADD LINK]]

Each single from the EP will launch with an exclusive, limited-to-25-pieces t-shirt, while a portion of the profits from each of these shirts will be donated to a charitable organization

The "Class War Cheer Squad" donations will be made to Border Kindness.

The Iron Roses are touring through the summer — headlining Europe and performing at festivals and supporting Bad Cop Bad Cop in North America. All dates are below.

"'Class War Cheer Squad' is easily the most lyrically direct song in our collection so far," explains Nat Gray. "To the point and going for the throat is the mantra here: '1,2,3,4, I declare a class war!' You don't get much more to the point than that, folks. We are all being failed by systems which demand our submission and praise while giving nothing in return, and where has it gotten us? The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle class is effectively eliminated. The ruling class whine and moan about the pittance going into social service programs, but never ask where the next several billion in bomb money will come from. We are tired of the lies, the manipulation, and the scapegoating of marginalized communities in order to fear-monger people into voting against their best interests."

Gray finishes, "As punk artists, humans, and musicians, we find it our duty to speak up when many can't (or won't), because isn't that what this platform was always meant for? Just 3-4 simple chords and an axe to grind with power, authority, and oppression. Enjoy!"

About the EP, the band offered the following update.

"We began writing new music in the Winter of 2024, high from an incredible year of growth as a band, and just before the political climate became, once again, dangerously oppressive and hateful," shares Becky Fontaine. "Initially, the songs flowed out as they usually do for us: Anthems of hope in a world that feels hopeless. Songs of joyful resistance. Energetic, uplifting, sociopolitically-driven pieces that served to remind us all that there is a piece of the human experience that cannot be commodified."

Fontaine continues, "But when mid-January 2025 rolled around, we, like so many within our community, were absolutely devastated at the reckless power that took the throne. Writing became our only reprieve from doom-scrolling, grief, and anxiety. There were literal days where Nat or myself couldn't get off the couch, and days when songs were so frantically bursting out of us, one of us might be in tears and the other might be three steps from panic as we fought to tell the stories that needed to be told in the voices that needed to be heard. It quickly became apparent that this new collection of songs was being very strongly informed by the landscape we were in."

Fontaine further pulls back the curtain, "Every single day another horrific order was being announced. Every single day an even more bold attack against human rights, opportunity, equity and autonomy. What shaped itself from our work over those several months were songs that had a bit more frustration and defiance weaved into them, while still holding on to that tangible joy and playfulness that is The Iron Roses Way. It felt really good to be able to take that dichotomy and propel it even further. We truly challenged each other this time around, pushing and pulling each other through the painful parts of songwriting, fine tuning how to bring out the best of what two passionate frontwomen and four of the most talented musicians have to offer."

In conclusion, Fontaine states, "As the world did little to heal itself, and with the worst of humanity becoming somehow even more overt, we decided there was no reason to wait to bring some of these songs to life. We had already recorded them in Pedro's studio, and really needed to release these three songs in this huge moment of history as a reminder that it is OK to be angry and scared and frustrated. You can still fight when you are scared. It feels powerful to take up our protest into our own hands, and we hope that these songs provide the cheerleading people need to get back up, even when bloody and bruised, and show the enemy you won't be erased so easily."

Awake The Dreamer Release Brand New Single + Music Video "Save You"

Awake The Dreamer are back once again, and they're not pulling any punches.

After reigniting their flame with the emotionally charged comeback single "Years Begin To Fade," the Stockholm-based, post-metalcore outfit offer up "Save You"— a towering and urgent anthem.

"Save You" dives even deeper into themes of inner turmoil and redemption, laced with cinematic textures, razor-sharp riffing, and the soaring vocal power of frontman Max Andrén. Where "Years Begin To Fade" introduced us to the band's rebirth, "Save You" punches through the darkness with raw vulnerability, showing Awake The Dreamer at their most fearless — and most refined.

Now bolstered by a powerhouse new lineup of musicians from acts like Normandie, Aim For The Sunrise, and Is It Tomorrow Yet, Awake The Dreamer are pushing further into uncharted territory while keeping their melodic roots intact. With a third full-length album on the horizon, "Save You" stands as another stark reminder: This isn't a comeback. This is a rebirth.

Watch the gripping new video for "Save You" below and brace yourself for what comes next.

Sweet Savage Return With New Album "Bang" + Share Video for Title Track

Belfast metal pioneers Sweet Savage announce the release of their new album BANG on September 12. To mark the occasion, they unleash the sharp title track today, accompanied by a gritty music video that captures the band’' intense live energy.

Listen to the title track "Bang"

Formed in Belfast in 1979 by bassist and vocalist Ray Haller and future Dio/Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, Sweet Savage were part of the first wave of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

But unlike their peers, Sweet Savage never released a full album during their first run. Instead, they became underground legends, gaining wide recognition after Metallica covered their track "Killing Time" and released it as the B-side of their multi-platinum single "The Unforgiven." The friendship between the two legendary bands continues to this day.

Watch the "Bang" music video below.

Sweet Savage are not here to revive nostalgia, but still, on the new album, their roots are unmistakable — aggressive, fast-paced metal infused with industrial textures and punk rock's DIY ethos.

From the explosive title track to the slower, hard-hitting "Live and Die" and the anthemic "The Chosen One," the album keeps shifting gears without losing punch. Every track feels urgent and direct — this is the sound of a band with nothing to prove and everything to say.

Frontman Ray Haller is backed by longtime drummer Marty McCloskey and guitar force Phil Edgar. The album features guitar work by former band member Simon McBride, who toured and recorded with the band before launching his solo career and joining Deep Purple.

Sweet Savage is back with BANG — and yes, the album hits as hard as the title suggests.

Access the album here.

Psych-rockers Tombstones In Their Eyes present anthem 'I Am Cold', transmuting inner turmoil

Los Angeles psychedelic rock outfit Tombstones In Their Eyes present their new single 'I Am Cold', born from a period of intense personal freefall. It's a raw, unflinching look at vulnerability and the chilling acknowledgment of emotional detachment, transforming inner turmoil into a powerful, resonant anthem.

'I Am Cold' is released by Kitten Robot Records, along with the B-Side 'Take It Down', which was recorded during the 'Asylum Harbour' sessions. Spawned from a dark night of the soul, is a visceral outpouring of longing and a stark confrontation with a perceived numbness. A testament to creativity salvaged from the depths, this song is a gripping sonic journey forged in a crucible of personal hardship.

'I Am Cold' is the final offering from the band's latest 'Asylum Harbour' album, following psychedelic audio-visual trips for the singles 'By My Side''Gimme Some Pain', 'I Like to Feel Good' and 'Mirror'. Recorded at Kitten Robot Studios, this album was recorded produced and engineered by Paul Roessler (known for his work with Josie Cotton, Nina Hagen, Hayley and the Crushers and Gitane Demone) and co-produced by John Treanor.

Today, Tombstones In Their Eyes is made up of long-time members John Treanor(vocals & guitar), Stephen Striegel (drums), Courtney Davies (vocals), Phil Cobb(guitar) and Paul Boutin (guitar), along with new band members Nic Nifoussi (bass) and Clea Cullen (vocals).

What started as a demo-swapping exercise between Treanor in LA and James Cooper in NYC a decade ago evolved into a powerhouse band crafting expansive psychedelic soundscapes. For Treanor, these sonic explorations are not only an immersive subliminal journey, but a way to grapple with anxiety and depression by channeling it into art that boldly gazes outward at the universe while diving deep into the soul. Literally a cosmic therapy session.

The video for 'I Am Cold' was created by Italian multi-arts visionary Francesca Bonci, known for her work with Federale (BJM's Collin Hegna), British bard Philip Parfitt,The Dandy Warhols' Peter G. Holmström a.k.a. Pete International Airport and Slowdive's Rachel Goswell.

'I Am Cold' is out now, digitally everywhere, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp, where the 'Asylum Harbour' album is also available on CD and on snazzy red vinyl.

New Band PREYRS Release Video for Debut Single "Wave of Wisdom"

PREYRS, a visceral new force in alternative rock and metal, announce their birth onto the world stage, with their debut single "Wave of Wisdom" — out now via Pelagic Records.

Watch the music video below

Stream the single here

Fusing raw alternative rock energy with the weight of metal, the quartet's music is an electrifying clash of aggression and euphoria, darkness and uplift, chaos and control. Elements of artists as disparate as Nine Inch Nails, Chelsea Wolfe, Sonic Youth, and Julie Christmas combine to delirious and heady effect.

Debut single "Wave of Wisdom" is a perfect introduction to the band, encapsulating their fierce yet gothic anthemic sound — where healing and rage collide in perfect harmony. A defiantly discordant clash of alt-folk slide guitar, and Mormecha's pummeling industrial percussion, "Wave of Wisdom" provides a great bedrock for Montgomery's incandescent delivery of uncertainty.

Of the new single, Montgomery comments, "'Wave of Wisdom' is about turning pain into power — tracing the roots of trauma through our own history and the wider collective to find truth, strength, and healing. It's a raw reclamation of voice, born from the fire. It was written during a stark Canadian winter on Wolfe Island, looking out over the frozen expanse of Lake Ontario, a setting that mirrored the stillness, intensity, and clarity of the song's creation. Self-produced by PREYRS drummer Michael Mormecha at Tree Song Studios, Ireland and mixed by Alex Loring."

Busking on the streets of Belfast from the age of 15, Montgomery met multi-instrumentalist Mormecha a few years later and they've been working together ever since. Both songwriters in their own right, Michael fronted renowned Irish post-hardcore outfit Mojo Fury and worked as a producer for artists including The Bonnevilles, Mojo Fury, and Joshua Burnside. They're joined as PREYRS by longtime guitarist Nolan Donelly and new bass player Ciarán McGreevy.

Known for electrifying live performances, PREYRS will make their UK festival debut at Bloodstock Open Air this August, as well as appearing at Stendhal Festival in Ireland. Nominated as "Best Live Act" and "Best Artist" at the Northern Ireland Music Prize, Montgomery's undeniably fierce and captivating frontperson energy has been her secret weapon often described as "otherworldly" or "a force of nature.'"For those seeking the epic, the healing, the aggressive, and the unrelenting pulse of alternative rock and metal, PREYRS is it.

PREYRS will be supporting punk legends New Model Army across Europe this winter.

LANIE GARDNER ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM FADED POLAROIDS, DUE SEPTEMBER 5

Named by the Recording Academy as a “2025 Artist to Watch,” Lanie Gardner has officially announced her highly anticipated sophomore album Faded Polaroids, set for release on September 5 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Alongside the announcement, the North Carolina native has released the album’s powerful lead song, “High Divin,’” featuring legendary Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood on the drums. Listen below.

A full-circle moment for the 25-year-old artist — whose breakout came from a viral cover of “Dreams” (now at over 100M views) — “High Divin’” is an atmospheric anthem with a heart of self-reflection. Wrapped in shimmering guitars and soaring vocals, it captures the emotional leap of the journey of self-sabotage, while honoring the path that led her there.

“It’s one of the most important songs on the album for me,” Gardner shares. “I was going through a pretty rough patch and needed to give myself a little tough love.”

Produced by Oscar Charles, Jonathan Singleton, Chris Ganoudis and Don Miggs, Faded Polaroids expands on the raw honesty of Gardner’s 2024 debut A Songwriter’s Diary, offering a sonic scrapbook of self-discovery, family roots, romantic twists, and personal healing. Across 18 tracks, Gardner blends country storytelling with indie-rock grit, small-town pop, and boundary-free emotion — a genre-bending vision uniquely.

“I created the idea of Faded Polaroids using actual polaroids. Some brand new, others nicotine-stained, withered, torn and worn from being passed down through the years,” says Gardner. “It felt like zooming out on my whole life and finally seeing the bigger picture. These snapshots — these songs — are the most beautiful parts of me. They tell the story of where I come from, who I come from, what I’ve learned and who I’m becoming. I hope these songs encourage people to take the time to make their own version of that too. I think it’s important that we all do.”

Born and raised in the tiny Appalachian mountain town of Burnsville, NC, Gardner grew up in a family of natural musicians, learning to sing from her mother and guitar from her father. A loner-turned-artist with a gift for turning diary entries into cathartic anthems, she eventually left home for Nashville, chasing the Grand Ole Opry dream of her late grandfather — a dream that comes full circle with her Opry debut on August 6. Following her recent Polaroids EP and breakout debut album — which earned her a “2025 Artist to Watch” nod from both the Recording Academy/GRAMMY and Amazon Music — Faded Polaroids finds Gardner stepping fully into her sound. From the soul-cleansing “Takin’ The Slow Ride” and smoldering “Concrete Cowboy,” to the rootsy, nostalgic title track and breezy “Love You Like Appalachia,” the album captures a rising star in her magic hour — honest, unfiltered, and unforgettable.

Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton’s Duet “A Song To Sing” Out Now

Country music giants Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton deliver their first true duet collaboration with “A Song To Sing,” reflecting the truth of giving one’s soul to the music and heart to the one at home. Written together with Jesse Frasure and Jenee Fleenor, the song available everywhere now is set to impact Country radio on Monday, July 14. Listen below.

The sound is indelible, rising from an era that’s shaped the last five decades of Country music. When Lambert and Stapleton emerge from the low-key shuffle, smoky Wurlitzer clouds and silken guitars, it’s obvious that “A Song To Sing” is destined to join the list of most-beloved classic Country duets. Trading lines before soaring together on the chorus, the longtime friends deliver a poignant message about finding peace and purpose in love – and in the music made along the way:

Lambert and Stapleton boast a combined 14 GRAMMY, 33 Country Music Association and 59 Academy of Country Music awards and have each influenced generations with their singular artistries and distinctive creative points of view. Produced by GRAMMY-winning Dave Cobb, “A Song To Sing” allows Lambert – who passed her ACM Entertainer of the Year title to Stapleton in 2023 – to witness the singular reality they share as they harken back to an era of music epitomized by Ronnie Milsap, Waylon Jennings and especially the classic Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers duets.

Of the respected visionaries, Pollstar writes, “at a time when Country is so many things, Lambert and Stapleton seem both a true north and a hinge for the future…Musically robust, they want to make actual Country music with their roots firmly planted, but with the ability to create on their own terms. It’s not fighting Music Row as much as fighting for greatness.”

Colorblind Share "Letdown" + "Misery Loves Company"Double Single

Austin, Texas quartet Colorblind  vocalist Travis Moseley, drummer Tyler Moseley, bassist Nicholas Asper, and guitarist Justin Page — have just dropped new double single "Letdown" and "Misery Loves Company." Because twice is nice!

Listen to both songs here. Watch the video for "Letdown" below.

"Letdown" explores "the inner conflict of still caring for someone who consistently hurts and disappoints you," shares Moseley. "Despite the pain, there's a lingering attachment — the feeling that the other person might be a missing piece — but that connection is built on illusions, lies, and emotional neglect."

Regarding "Misery Loves Company," the singer explains, "This song is about the slow unraveling that happens when you’re caught in someone else's darkness — how love turns into survival, and how pain shared doesn’t always mean pain healed. It's a breaking point anthem for anyone who's been drained by trying to save someone who won't save themselves."

Colorblind will open for Dayseeker on select dates, as well as supporting Catch Your Breath. Festival appearances at Inkcarceration and Louder Than Life are also on deck. All upcoming live shows are below.

With lyrical depth matched only by their ascendant vocals, Austin, Texas dreamcore staples COLORBLIND have quickly become a name to know in the heavy music world. They've racked up some 48 million Spotify streams — with 20 million of those last year alone — thanks to their rumbling rhythm section, earth-shaking riffs, and airy grooves. That hard-hitting musical combination forms the backbone of "NEEDLE EYE," Colorblind's debut single for Solid State/Tooth & Nail. Building on the success of the 2021 hit "Motionless" and self-titled 2022 EP, "Needle Eye" announced a new era for the band with a triumphant widescreen sound, car crash dynamics and visceral, open-nerve lyricism.

With the band currently in the process of finishing their debut full-length, scheduled for release in 2026 via Solid State/Tooth & Nail, Colorblind are newly emboldened by the next phase of their career and poised to bring more of this life-affirming mentality to audiences around the world — mining the inextricably complex emotions found within us while showcasing the tremendous musical and personal growth they've experienced over the past few years.

'We've been wrestling with who we want to be sonically, because we have a huge array of things we want to do," Moseley explains. "How do we condense all of those things down into one sound? We don't even know who we're supposed to be, and that's the fun of it."

THE JOTUNN Present Cover of "Suicide Nation"

Melodic death quintet THE JOTUNN present a ferocious take on AT THE GATES's "Suicide Nation". The ensemble from Ohio, US, cultivate an intense sonic experience by compiling symphonic elements on top of melodic death metal and melodic deathcore: "We really like to wear our influences on our sleeve and let those influences breathe life in to songs that can stand on their own." "Suicide Nation" is the first of a tripart offering landing over the summer of 2025.

"AT THE GATES is a HEAVY influence for this band", vocalist Paul Kahan explains. "Slaughter of the Soul is a defining album for us as listeners and players. We along with so many other bands have used this album as a blueprint for how melodic metal should sound for a long time.

Kahan also has a personal connection with "Suicide Nation". Kahan recalls the first time he heard the track: "I was absolutely blown away. I remember that being a really pivotal moment for me personally with music. It became one of my favorite songs of all time and I remember in the back of my head that if I ever had the opportunity to do a cover this would be the first one I pitched. I basically begged the band to do it."

About THE JOTUNN:
Based out of Cleveland and Columbus Ohio, THE JOTUNN formed in 2021 after guitarist and songwriter Shawn Kahan presented a number of demos to Paul Kahan. Soon producer Cole Martinez (ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, WHITECHAPEL, ABORTED) was on board taking up the role of bassist and producer of their music. Nick Amato (ATOMIC WITCH) performed drums on the band's debut album Graveworshipper (2022), prior to Adam Biats joining the line-up. The outfit was awarded the Columbus Artist Grant in 2023, and subsequently in 2025. THE JOTUNN's EP Summoner arrived in 2024, and is set to be followed in 2025 by two cover releases and a new original track. Cole left the band in June 2025 on good terms, leading to the arrival of Leo Debevc on guitar and Londyn Hager on bass.

Alt-pop songstress Celeste Corsano moves forward and upward with new 'Stuck' single

Presenting the third in a trilogy of singles this year, alternative pop artist Celeste Corsano presents 'Stuck',  a tender exploration of being caught in the inescapable grip of an emotional impasse. Here she masterfully conveys the struggle of a mind wrestling with an unyielding heart, creating an intimate space where raw emotion takes center-stage.

In a world clamouring for bombast, Corsano delivers a powerful intimacy in this raw, unfiltered dive into the tender corners of the human heart, delivered with a disarming simplicity that belies its profound emotional depth.  Revealing a vulnerability that is both deeply personal and strikingly relatable, her sparse, almost childlike vocals amplify its impact.

"'Stuck' is a "little" song with a big meaning.  The lyrics come from a tender place that needed simplicity and not a big vocal sound.  Actually, any time I tried to sing it any differently, the vocals still came out simplistic and childlike," says Celeste Corsano.

"There aren't many lyrics but there is the play on the lyric "something in the way". The first verse  meaning "something in the way that I'm feeling", and the second verse to mean "something is in my way...something in my heart". Both refer to a heart situation that I can't let go of.  I'm stuck, for better or worse in a vulnerable heart space. "I should know better.."  says the mind....how do you tell a heart that?? There's some more going on in these brief lyrics and I hope it speaks to you too."

Earlier, Corsano released the singles 'Nightbird' and 'Sunlight Gazing'. With hues of Kate Bush and Tori Amos, this singer-songwriter is the latest artist to be added to the growing roster of the blossoming Montclair, NJ-based indie label Magic Door Record Label.

Corsano's music blends poetic lyricism with adventurous arrangements, unexpected rhythms and a distinct emotional range -- from ethereal and moody to playful and bold. With a natural use of mixed meters and layered vocal timbres, her fearless approach to storytelling conveys a deeper truth.

For the past year, Corsano has been working with renowned producer Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, Luna, Crash Harmony) at Magic Door Recording Studio, who produced, recorded, mixed and mastered this release, as well as several recordings to follow.

With Ketchem also on drums, this single also features fantastically notable guitarist James Mastro (The Bongos, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, Patti Smith, John Cale) and keyboardist-bass player David Nagler of Nova Social (who has also played with Joan Baez, Aaron Neville, Rosanne Cash, Andrew Bird, Steve Earleand Yo La Tengo).

"When I first brought the demo to Ray Ketchem, drummer on all of my recordings and producer / engineer at Magic Door Recording, he remarked about the time changes.  Actually all the singles I brought to him had some time changes and Ray did a fantastic job interpreting them into the arrangement with the drums.  I write on piano, so it was percussive already, but was fully realized and blossomed into the wonderful arrangements  that all three songs are now," says Celeste Corsano.

"Guitarist James Mastro and synth and bass player, David Nagler added the perfect touches to the arrangement, complete with a great guitar solo, and some added percussion to finish off the song perfectly."

Born into a musical family, Celeste is inspired by her brothers - Latin roots musician Tony Corsano and avant-garde percussionist Chris Corsano (Björk, Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore). After discovering the pulse of the new wave and punk scenes, Corsano was initiated in NYC’s live music scene, in addition to writing poetry, studying art and absorbing sound at a granular level. Initially performing Celtic and Bluegrass music in the tri-state area, she has evolved as a solo artist and songwriter.

Corsano also honed her ear during countless studio recording sessions, attended with her ex-husband Brad Morrison, producer and founder of Absolute A-Go-Go Records, known for working with such notable artists as Phish, the Figgs and Spiral Jetty.

As of July 8, 'Stuck' is available from fine online music platforms, including Bandcamp, where 'Sunlight Gazing' and 'Nightbird' can also be found.

Pushing Veronica Unleashes Explosive New Single "WASTED"

Prepare to get obliterated in the best way possible—PUSHING VERONICA is back with a vengeance, dropping their blistering new single "WASTED", a riotous, no-holds-barred anthem drenched in fury, hooks, and unapologetic chaos. The track is now available on all major streaming platforms.

"WASTED," by PUSHING VERONICA

is a raw and raging punk anthem for anyone who's ever been ghosted after an interview, told they’re “not the right fit,” or handed a rejection email five minutes after applying. With razor-sharp guitars and lyrics that spit in the face of corporate nonsense, this song sets the tone for defiance, desperation, and dark humor.

BIO

SoCal alt-rock powerhouse

PUSHING VERONICA first emerged as the brainchild of then-16 year old frontman

Julien Silvås, a lifelong musician who’d already established himself on the scene via a

Warped Tour appearance with his previous band, The Local Rebellion. Fixated on a mission to herald a renaissance in the worlds of pop-punk and rock, Julien continued to grow the lineup — currently consisting of original founding member and bassist Noah Rozansky, guitarist Hunter Kubat, guitarist Daniel Flores and drummer Jason Maser.

Known for their uniquely catchy signature sound, PUSHING VERONICA build on the groundwork laid by legends from Queens of the Stone Ageand Rage Against the Machine to Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Offspring and beyond with an uninhibitedly irreverent approach. Lauded by major outlets like Alternative Press for their “infectious and high-spirited Green Day-like stylings”, the band have continued to grow their diverse and loyal fanbase over 4 US tours and a slew of other electric live performances to date.

Following a string of achievements including collaborating with renowned directors Dean Karr and Brian Cox on music videos and working with Grammy-winning producer Dave Schiffman, PUSHING VERONICA'S momentum is now at an all-time high as they prepare for their most ambitious year yet.

S.O.R.M Unleashes Intense Heavy Rock Offering 'The Sacrifice'!

Swedish hard rock outfit S.O.R.M has officially unleashed their brand new track, 'The Sacrifice', which offers another powerful statement from the Lidköping-based four-piece. The stand-alone single is out now via Noble Demon and available for streaming

The band offers insight into the single’s core message: "The new single is a song that speaks to everyone. It’s about all the sacrifices we do just so we can keep on living. At the end we all turn to the lord and ask for a hero that can help lead the way. My problems in life are different from yours but we all sometimes need to do sacrifices to keep on moving forward. The hardest work is to sacrifice something without regrets. But in the end we always wonder if he hears you calling out."

Formed in 2017, S.O.R.M quickly made a name for themselves with the release of their outstanding "Hellraiser" EP (2020), which introduced the band to the world and captivated audiences with their infectious hooks right from the start. The band's 2023 debut album, "Under My Skin" (Noble Demon), further solidified their position in the hard rock scene, featuring guest appearances by legendary guitarists Doug Blair of W.A.S.P. and Nick Petrino of Dee Snider.

Chase Rice Soundtracks Summer with "Two Tone Trippin'" Feat. Wyatt McCubbin Out Now

Just in time for Independence Day cookouts and back-road getaways, Chase Rice delivers “Two Tone Trippin’”– a jangly, guitar-picking joyride that captures the heart of summer and the spirit of a classic American truck. Featuring fellow singer-songwriter Wyatt McCubbin, the nostalgic new single is available everywhere today as the first preview of new music to come later this year. Listen Below.

A feel-good celebration of freedom, young love and the timeless charm of a two-tone pickup, “Two Tone Trippin’” takes a well-worn symbol of Country storytelling and revs it up with fresh detail and classic Country flair. Rice and McCubbin – who cowrote the song with producer Oscar Charles – trade verses like old friends swapping stories on the tailgate, with a toe-tapping arrangement and vivid, boots-on-the-dash imagery:

“Wyatt, Oscar and I were driving around Rollinsville, Colorado, and we kept noticing two-tone trucks everywhere. Oscar finally said, ‘Man, this must be where two-tones go to die.’ Then out of nowhere, he goes, ‘We should write a song called ‘Two Tone Trippin’,’” recalls Rice. “I had just bought a ‘72 two-tone Chevy, so I was all about it. I think we wrote the whole thing in about 45 minutes – no rules, not even a chorus. We just straight up had fun on this one. And everything you hear in the recording – the playing and the singing – was all one take.”

McCubbin – known for penning songs for artists including Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Zach Top, Cody Johnson and more in addition to his own solo career – adds a soulful layer to the track introducing the next chapter in Rice’s career, which promises to further expand his evolution as an artist. More new music is expected later this year, as Rice continues to lean into his roots and the unfiltered storytelling that earned 2024’s independent release Go Down Singin’ widespread critical praise.

American Songwriter celebrated the “introspective authenticity and Rice‘s dedication to change his career narrative from backward ball cap party guy to serious songwriter,” noting that much of the new music “walks the line between traditional Country and Bluegrass,” while Billboard notes it “leans toward rootsier, raw-rock driven sounds, trading party anthems for introspective lyrical themes…. as his voice conveys a crackling warmth of self-reflection and an easy-going comfortableness.”

“Rice’s knack for a good melody is still well intact,” adds Rolling Stone, “but this time it’s used to tell a good story, not fit into a radio algorithm… [Rice] has stopped worrying about where the songs will land, and realized that the best art exists not by trying to get a bloated Number One, nor by trying to adhere to some purist outlaw notion, either. It’s the organic sweet spot in the middle.”

LOVE IS NOISE Releases Two Brand-New Tracks “Hole In Me” And “All Eyes Shut” — Out Now via Century Media

Following widespread acclaim for their February 2025 debut album 'To Live in a Different Way' released via Century Media Records, UK powerhouse LOVE IS NOISE returns with new music much sooner than fans might have expected. The band is dropping two brand-new tracks, “Hole In Me” and “All Eyes Shut,” along with an electrifying new music video for the lead single “Hole In Me,” available below.

Alongside the dual single release, LOVE IS NOISE is also unveiling what might be their strongest music video to date and officially introducing a new chapter in the band’s evolution. The updated lineup now includes Sam Clark (Bass), Alex Ioannou (Guitar), and Joe Pink(Drums), joining founding vocalist Cameron Humphrey to form the newly solidified quintet.

Cam shares about the new line-up:

“It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome Sam, Joe and Alex into the fold. They’ve been touring with LOVE IS NOISE over the past year and the chemistry we had between us all was unmatched. This made the decision to offer them full time roles very easy. We’re brothers and I can’t wait to tour the world over and over with them.”

He adds about the new singles:

'Hole In Me' begins a new chapter in the life of LOVE IS NOISE. 1 becomes 4. This song is heartbreak at its finest, accompanied by the heaviest instrumentation from ourselves to date. This is the future! On the other hand, 'All Eyes Shut,' alongside a guitar solo from our friend Erik, leans more into our alternative rock influences. This song sounds like if 'Everlong' era Foo Fighters was created today. To us, this is a perfect combo and a great addition alongside 'Hole In Me.'

Watch the Music Video for "Hole In Me" Below

Watch the Visualizer for "All Eyes Shut" HERE

LOVE IS NOISE began its journey in 2021 as a collaboration between Humphrey and former guitarist Tom Mellon (who recently left the band to explore other musical endeavours) balancing the ethereal and intense. While sonic signposts include modern-day shoegaze as well as the likes of Glassjaw and Deftones, the band’s 2022 EP, 'Euphoria, Where Were You?' (released on FEVER 333 frontman Jason Aalon Butler’s 333 WRECKORDS CREW) pointed towards a soul-crushing sonic heartache all their own.

A string of singles led to the band inking with Century Media and beginning work on their debut album. LOVE IS NOISE released the first taste of new music with the acclaimed singlesSoft Glow,” “Jawbreaker To live in a different way, take.one.minute,” and It Hurts To Know You're There,” which appeared on numerous playlists across the streaming platforms and were featured on BBC Radio One, Kerrang! Radio and Total Rock. The band’s Century Media debut, ‘To live in a different way,’ straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), ‘To live in a different way’ is a startling debut album.
