KILL SOUND RECORDS LAUNCHES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TLG|ROCK

Founded by Musician, Songwriter and Producer Justin McCain, New Imprint Welcomes First Signings MCHNZ and ANNALIESE

Kill Sound Records, a new record label founded by musician, songwriter and producer Justin McCain, has officially launched in partnership with The Label Group, TLG|ROCK, distributed by Virgin Music Group, bringing McCain’s longtime passion for A&R and artist development to the forefront.

Joining McCain in the launch of Kill Sound Records are partners Zeb Christensen (Screaming for Silence), Aaron Koenig (Devil in the Details) and Sgt. RJ Mitchell USMC. The label’s first two artist signings are MCHNZ and ANNALIESE.

McCain’s path to launching his own label has been shaped by years of experience on both sides of the music industry. As a musician, songwriter and producer, he has been a member of signed bands including Through Fire and Emphatic, experiences that gave him firsthand insight into the workings of the modern music business while allowing him to work alongside some of the industry's most respected executives and creative professionals.

Those experiences ultimately helped shape a long-standing goal: to create a label focused on identifying artists with potential and giving them the guidance, development and resources needed to build lasting careers.

“I've been very fortunate to have worked with some of the most incredibly talented people throughout my journey as a musician, songwriter and producer in the music business,” says Justin McCain, Owner/CEO of Kill Sound Records. “With being in multiple signed bands, including Through Fire and Emphatic, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the most brilliant label executives along the way such as Monte Lipman of Republic Records, Pete Ganbarg of Atlantic Records, Jeff Blue, known for his work with Linkin Park and, of course, one of my biggest inspirations, Ash Avildsen of Sumerian Records.”

“I always knew when the time was right, I was going to focus on my passion for A&R and artist development and start my own record label. After having conversations with my good friend and industry vet Dennis Sanders, owner of The Label Group, he offered me an imprint through TLG|ROCK, distributed by Virgin Music Group. Alongside my partners Zeb Christensen, Aaron Koenig and RJ Mitchell, we're very excited to announce the launch of Kill Sound Records.”

McCain also credits Dennis Sanders, founder of The Label Group, as an important part of making the vision a reality. Sanders has built TLG into a prominent independent music company, with recent success at radio including a #1 single at radio with Billy Morrison / Ozzy Osbourne.

“Kill Sound Records represents the next chapter of my career,” McCain adds. “I'm incredibly excited to take everything I've learned as an artist, songwriter, producer and student of the business and apply it to developing artists. We're just getting started, and we're extremely proud to welcome MCHNZ and ANNALIESE as the first two artists on the roster.”

Kill Sound Records’ first two signings, MCHNZ and ANNALIESE, represent the beginning of the label’s artist roster, with additional announcements and new music to follow.

In addition, Justin McCain and partner Aaron Koenig have also opened Kill Sound Studio, a production/songwriting team to record/produce artists signed to the label.

BEAUTY IN CHAOS unveils fifth album ‘Quiet Place’, marking milestone anniversary of their debut

Iconic alt-rock / post-punk supergroup Beauty In Chaos returns to where it all began with ‘Quiet Place', - the band’s fifth studio album, arriving exactly eight years after releasing their debut record ‘Finding Beauty In Chaos’. More than an anniversary, the timing marks a remarkable full-circle moment for the LA-based project, bringing together the spirit of its beginnings with eight years of musical exploration, unlikely collaborations, and an ever-expanding family of artists.

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Michael Rozon (Ministry, Jarboe, Wayne Hussey, The Melvins), ‘Quiet Place’ is a ten-track collection showcasing the latest from Beauty In Chaos. Released September 28th via LA-based 33.3 Music Collective, the album brings together familiar voices and new collaborators while continuing the project's distinctive blend of dark rock, atmospheric textures, powerful guitars, and richly layered songwriting.

The lead single 'Home' featuring Ashton Nyte of famed South African goth rockers The Awakening also marked eight years since BIC's first single 'Storm'. As vocalist and co-writer of that debut offering, this is  a fitting reunion for a song about connection and finally finding where you belong. The 'Home' video was filmed by Nyte and longtime BIC collaborator Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films).  For the album release, the focus / highlight track is 'You Made Me A Weapon ft. Julian Shah-Tayler'.

BIC curator Michael Ciravolo describes 'Quiet Place' as “quite possibly our most diverse album, with a collection of songs that just work together”.  This double vinyl release also includes many other returning BIC alumni, including Cinthya Hussey(with a bit of help from her Mission main-man husband Wayne Hussey), Whitney Tai, Julian Shah-Tayler, Betsy Martin, Leo Luganskiy, and Kommunity FK’s Patrik Mata.

Two new voices join the BIC family on this album - Nick Schultz, formerly with The Faces Of Sarah, and Strangelove’s Brent Meyer. The Deluxe CD also includes three cover song renditions, with Michael Ciravolo himself contributing vocals.

“Since I had several additional new singers in mind, Michael Rozan and I just kept writing songs, but the idea of releasing this album on the same date as our debut was important to me… so I had to make the call to stop at these ten tracks," says Michael Ciravolo.

"I am very aware that ten songs is indeed a ‘big’ listen in today’s chaotic world, but I believe in my heart that our audience is more discerning and open to a true deep-dive listen.”

Beauty In Chaos has come a long way since LA-based guitarist Michael Ciravolo(formerly of Human Drama and Gene Loves Jezebel and current President of Schecter Guitars) launched this project in 2018. Over the years, BIC has involved members of The Mission, The Cure, Ministry, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Gene Loves Jezebel, Marilyn Manson, Human Drama, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, A Flock of Seagulls and dUg Pinnick, ICE-T, Rolan Bolan and Zakk Wylde, among other luminaries.

‘Quiet Place’ is available in a 100-copy Limited Edition package, which includes a beautiful 180g double vinyl pressed on Ocean Blue Glitter.  Each of the 100 copies are hand-numbered and include an eight-page lyric booklet, a Special CD, and a set of three BIC guitar picks.  As with all BIC albums, the full digital version is included and sent for immediate download!

A ‘Goth Black’ double vinyl, a Deluxe 13 song CD, and a digital version are also available at the BIC Store. While all of the artists that are part of the growing BIC Family believe in enjoying music in a physical format, ‘Quiet Place’ can also be heard on all streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp.

CHEZ KANE Reveals Brand New Single “Strip Me Down” Out Now via Frontiers Music Srl

British rocker CHEZ KANE is thrilled to reveal her brand new single, "Strip Me Down," along with an official video, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. The song is taken from her latest studio album 'Reckless,' which was released in March.

The release also includes “Hot Wired Heart," a previously unreleased B-side, available on all streaming platforms.

CHEZ commented:

“'Strip Me Down' is another little piece of the 'Reckless' story and I definitely wanted to turn up the heat with this one! It’s sexy, playful and a little bit naughty, with a real sense of temptation and attitude. Just when you thought we’d finished with 'Reckless,' we’ve got a brand new music video for 'Strip Me Down' and a bonus track included.”

Watch the Official Video for “Strip Me Down" Below:

CHEZ KANE has firmly established herself as one of the most exciting voices in modern melodic rock, bringing the larger-than-life spirit of the genre’s golden era into the present day with soaring vocals, infectious hooks and unmistakable charisma.

Following the success of her first two albums, CHEZ returned in March with her third studio record, ‘Reckless’ - an explosive collection of arena-ready anthems, slick guitar work and unapologetic ’80s-style swagger. Bigger in sound and richer in emotion, the album further cemented her reputation as a standout artist in the new generation of melodic rock.

Once again written and produced by Danny Rexon, frontman of Swedish hard rockers Crazy Lixx, ‘Reckless’ built on the creative partnership that has helped define CHEZ’s solo career. Together, they have developed a sound that celebrates the glory days of melodic and hard rock while injecting them with fresh energy and modern production.

From glam-infused rockers to emotional slow-burners, CHEZ’s music is driven by huge choruses, memorable melodies and a powerhouse voice made for the biggest stages. Across three albums, her growing confidence and unmistakable personality have shown that she isn’t simply paying tribute to the sound of the ’80s - she’s helping carry it forward.

Now, following ‘Reckless,’ CHEZ KANE opens the next chapter with a brand-new track, offering another dose of the energy, attitude and melodic firepower that have become her trademark, while giving fans their first taste of what comes next.

Bold, infectious and built to be played loud, CHEZ KANE continues to prove that melodic rock is very much alive - and she’s right at the heart of it.

Goth Rock Icons THE 69 EYES Unveil New Single “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)” + Official Music Video

THE 69 EYES are thrilled to unveil their new single “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica),” out now via BLKIIBLK.

Originally featured on ‘Blessed Be,’ the song was first released in 2000 and became an international success for the band. Its title refers to the late American actor Brandon Lee, who played the lead role in the dark cult classic “The Crow” (1993).

The single was mixed by acclaimed American producer Matt Hyde, who also produced THE 69 EYES’ ‘Back In Blood,’ recorded in Los Angeles in 2009. Known for his work with Slayer and Deftones, Hyde most recently mixed Megadeth’s self-titled album ‘Megadeth’ (2026), which reached No. 1 in the United States.

The music video for the track was filmed at Suomenlinna, Helsinki, and directed by Elias Ryynänen. Paparazzi models Corinna Puleo and Lotte Vainio bring timeless catwalk glamour to the band’s gothic rock world, evoking the turn-of-the-millennium aesthetic.

The single is the first taste of an acoustic record, set for release in early 2027. THE 69 EYES will also bring their melodic side on tour in February next year, with a nationwide concert hall tour across Finland.

Watch the Music Video for “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)” Below:

Once you’ve survived the 80s rock scene, you become unstoppable - and THE 69 EYESare living proof. Formed in Helsinki in 1989 and still going strong with the same line-up some four decades later, the Helsinki Vampires have earned their legendary status.

In a world with fewer and fewer true believers in leather jackets, midnight sunglasses, and low-slung guitars, THE 69 EYES keep the Johnny Thunders flame burning like an endless sleazy club night back in the day.

Their biggest hit, “Lost Boys” from 2005, was made into an iconic music video by MTV's Jackass star and skater Bam Margera and remains on annual Halloween rock playlists.

One foot in glam, another one in goth, THE 69 EYES have released thirteen albums, reaching gold and platinum and mainstream status in their native Finland, where they are signed to Gabi Hakanen’s Vallila Music House. Their previous studio album, ‘Death Of Darkness,’ was released in 2023, and they have been touring without any notable breaks all over the world for the last twenty years.

Vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, bass, and drums are the classic rock band lineup. THE 69 EYES have that magic on stage that is needed for these elements to carry on beyond the rock'n'roll dreams, theirs and their cult following.

THE 69 EYES are:

Jyrki 69 – Vocals

Bazie – Guitar, Backing Vocals

Timo-Timo – Guitar

Archzie – Bass, Backing Vocals

Jussi 69 – Drums

Swedish Hard Rock Heavyweights HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Officially Sign to Frontiers Music Srl Share New Single "Halo"

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce the signing of Swedish hard rock heavyweights HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of Scandinavia’s most enduring and explosive rock bands.

The partnership kicks off with the release of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR’s brand-new single, “Halo,” just days before the band launches the Scandinavian leg of its “Dirty Halo Tour” on October 2nd.

The band comments:

“We’re really excited to start this new chapter with Frontiers. After all these years, we’re still just as hungry to make great records, play loud, and push HARDCORE SUPERSTAR forward. We feel Frontiers understands where we come from, but more importantly, where we want to go next. There’s a lot of new music coming, and we can’t wait to get it out there.”

Aldo Lonobile, VP of Global A&R, Frontiers Label Group, states:

“Being a fan of the band for many years, I am particularly excited to welcome HARDCORE SUPERSTAR to Frontiers! They have built an incredible legacy, but I truly believe they still have a lot to say and many more chapters to write. We’re excited to be the right partner for their next steps and to support their vision as they enter this new chapter.”

Raw, loud, and unapologetic, “Halo” captures HARDCORE SUPERSTAR at their most direct. Built on heavy riffs, attitude and a chorus made for the live stage, the song revels in the turmoil between chaos and redemption, where bitter truths, wine-soaked spite and fake prayers collide.

The band described the new single by saying:

“'Halo' is an anthem for people faking their prayers in the hope of securing a little grace under their Dirty Halo. It’s about that distorted line that lies somewhere between praying for redemption and embracing the chaos - the sins, mistakes, and bad decisions you can’t take back.”

Watch the Official Music Video for "Halo" Below:

The new single arrives as HARDCORE SUPERSTAR prepares to return to the road for the “Dirty Halo Tour,” a 20-date run through Sweden and Finland beginning October 2nd in Malmö. The tour will continue into Europe and the rest of the world during 2027.

“We are excited to be back on the road for this long-awaited tour. We love the chaos, the crowds, the late nights and the connection with the fans. This tour is going to be something special,” said HARDCORE SUPERSTAR.

Alongside preparations for the tour, the band is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their acclaimed album ‘Abrakadabra.’ The upcoming release will also be the first to feature new drummer Efraim Larsson (Gathering Of Kings, Masterplan).

Katerina Nicole Drops "The Weight of a Thousand Skies" Video — WATCH

"The Weight of a Thousand Skies" is a song about the feeling of carrying the weight of rejection, uncertainty, and everything that comes with trying to build a life around something you truly believe in.

Watch the video below.

"For me, a big part of the song comes from repeatedly putting myself out there in the music industry — reaching out, taking chances, trying to create opportunities, and sometimes being met with rejection or complete silence," says singer Katerina Nicole. "After a while, that silence can start to feel incredibly heavy. You start questioning yourself, wondering if you’re good enough, and asking how many times you're willing to try again."

She continues. "I also wanted the meaning to be bigger than just my experience in music. Everyone goes through periods where life feels like it's piling more and more weight onto them — expectations, setbacks, responsibilities, disappointment, and the feeling that you have to keep functioning through all of it That’s what "The Weight of a Thousand Skies" represents to me: carrying an enormous amount of uncertainty and still choosing to believe that what you’re working toward is worth fighting for. For me, this song is about betting on yourself when nobody else is willing to. And maybe that’s the hardest part of chasing a dream: accepting that sometimes the only person who can keep the fire alive is you."

Blending the crushing intensity of modern metalcore with soaring melodies and raw emotional honesty, the Canadian-born independent artist continues to carve out her own lane with each release.

New Heavy Music From floya — LISTEN + WATCH

More than a year has passed since FLOYA last offered a glimpse into their world. Now, the German modern rock duo finally breaks the silence with "Juneau,"  via Arising Empire.

Rather than explaining where they have been, FLOYA let the music speak for itself. "Juneau" feels immediately recognizable, carrying the soaring melodies, atmospheric electronics and emotional immediacy that have defined the duo from the beginning. Yet there is something different beneath the surface. The sound feels heavier, deeper, and more grounded, revealing a new sense of gravity without sacrificing the infectious hooks at the heart of FLOYA's identity.

Built around an enormous chorus and an irresistible modern rock pulse, "Juneau" balances euphoria with vulnerability. Phil Bayer's expressive vocals move from intimacy to soaring release while Marv Wilder's guitars and the track's expansive production create a sound that feels simultaneously weightless and crushing.

Lyrically, "Juneau" dives into the overwhelming pull of surrender. Images of exposed nerves, scars, violent highs and waves that threaten to consume turn intimacy into something almost physical: a desperate attempt to silence the noise within and find relief through another person. The repeated admission that "it feels like dying, yet I remain" captures the song's emotional contradiction, caught between destruction and rebirth, pain, and release.

Since emerging in 2022, FLOYA have carved out a distinctive space between modern rock and electronic music. Formed by vocalist Phil Bayer and guitarist Marv Wilder, the duo introduced their full artistic vision with debut album Yume in 2024, combining arena-sized rock melodies with expansive EDM soundscapes and an unmistakably uplifting emotional core.

That vision has quickly found an international audience. FLOYA have amassed more than 20 million Spotify streams and over 90,000 monthly listeners, while their music has generated millions of additional plays across YouTube. Their rise has taken them across Europe alongside artists including Holding Absence, Dead Poet Society, Thornhill and Siamese, as well as to Japan and festival stages including Resurrection Fest, Radar Festival, Euroblast and Reeperbahn Festival. Their debut album release show in Essen also sold out, underlining the rapidly growing community surrounding the band.

With "Juneau," however, FLOYA appear less interested in looking back than in leaving a question hanging in the air. It is catchy, vulnerable and unmistakably theirs, but carries a darker emotional weight than what came before.

Whether it is a standalone moment or the first signal of something much bigger remains unanswered.

FLOYA LIVE:

10/10 — Frankfurt Am Main, DE — Batschkapp
11/28 — Leipzig, DE — Haus Auensee

New Heavy Music From Plume — LISTEN + WATCH

With their brand new album Saferooms & Healing Frequencies, PLUME step fully into a world of their own. Blurring the boundaries between modern metal, hyper-pop, alternative rock, and electronic music, the band delivers a record that feels as emotionally exposed as it is sonically ambitious. Glittering electronics collide with crushing guitars, fractured rhythms and huge melodies, creating a sound that constantly shifts between vulnerability and impact.

At the heart of Saferooms & Healing Frequencies lies the search for safety in a world that rarely stands still. Across the album, PLUME explore anxiety, emotional overload, pain, and the need to find somewhere to breathe, process and heal. Rather than separating heaviness from beauty, the band allow both to exist side-by-side, turning moments of fragility into explosive releases and intimate thoughts into towering choruses.

Arriving alongside the album, "Frankincense" captures that contrast perfectly. Airy, melodic cleans drift through glitching electronics before sharp screams and crushing guitars tear through the atmosphere. Moving between quiet vulnerability and full-force intensity, the track deals with processing pain and searching for a safe place to finally put it down. In many ways, "Frankincense" serves as a perfect gateway into the album, showcasing PLUME at both their most intimate and their most intense.

That constant tension is essential to PLUME. Their songs are built as multilayered sonic sculptures, distorted and driven by synthesizers, unpredictable rhythms and an urge to push beyond conventional genre boundaries. Pop remains at the core, but comfort and predictability rarely do.
The same uncompromising approach extends far beyond the music. PLUME have developed a distinctive visual universe in which glam rock-inspired styling meets a contemporary digital aesthetic. Describing themselves as a "New Generation of Rockstars," the band treats every element as part of the same creative vision. Their live performances follow that philosophy, transforming concerts into relentless, atmospheric and meticulously constructed experiences where music, movement and aesthetics become one.

With their creative ideas, explosive live presence and unmistakable aesthetic, PLUME are rapidly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting rising names in the modern heavy scene. Rather than simply revisiting the language of rock music, they pull it apart and rebuild it through the lens of a generation raised equally on heavy guitars, digital culture and pop.

Saferooms & Healing Frequencies is the clearest expression of that identity yet: Bold, vulnerable, chaotic and deeply melodic. It is a record about finding shelter without hiding from what hurts, and about turning those emotions into something loud enough to be shared. PLUME are not interested in becoming an echo of what rock once was. They are shaping what it could become next.

New Heavy Music From Banks Arcade — LISTEN + WATCH

Banks Arcade unleash their new album SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR, a bold and emotionally charged statement from a band that has never been interested in fitting neatly into one genre. Blurring the boundaries between modern metal, alternative electronic music and hip-hop, the record captures Banks Arcade at their most ambitious, unpredictable and personal yet.

Built on contrast, SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR moves effortlessly between crushing heaviness, infectious melodies, electronic experimentation and moments of striking vulnerability. Rather than settling into a single sound, Banks Arcade use the album to push their identity further, bringing together the raw physicality of metal with the maximalist energy of contemporary alternative music. It is an approach deeply rooted in the band’s history, drawing inspiration from underground electronic artists, modern hip hop and classic metalcore while constantly searching for something unmistakably their own.

Arriving alongside the album is "Last Time," a track that perfectly captures its more vulnerable and melodic side. Trading sheer aggression for emotional weight, the song explores the desperate final moments of a relationship that already feels like it is slipping away. Love, regret, and self-sabotage collide with the hope that maybe this time things could end differently.

Brooding production gives way to soaring, confessional hooks as the lyrics turn heartbreak into something visceral. Images of spilling blood like red wine, stitching a broken heart back together and being pushed to the point of flatlining underline the song’s tension between devotion and destruction. At its core, "Last Time" is about wanting to become enough for someone while knowing that your own patterns may ultimately drive them away. That push and pull between hope and resignation makes it a powerful representation of the emotional world surrounding SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR.

That sense of reinvention has defined Banks Arcade from the beginning. Forged through the partnership of two best friends whose backgrounds stretch from jazz degrees to professional MMA fighting, the band emerged from New Zealand through constant relocation, struggle and an uncompromising drive to create something different. Those experiences became the foundation for a musical identity built around evolution rather than convention.

In recent years, Banks Arcade have transformed from New Zealand underdogs into an internationally established name in modern heavy music. The band have sold out headline shows across the Southern Hemisphere, taken their uncompromising live show to international stages including Download Festival, and shared stages with the likes of The Plot In You, Northlane, and Thornhill.

With SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR, Banks Arcade continue exactly what has driven them from the start: dismantling expectations of what a modern heavy band should sound like. Heavy without being confined by heaviness, melodic without sacrificing intensity and experimental without losing its emotional core, the album brings together the many sides of Banks Arcade into their most expansive statement yet.

SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR is out now via Arising Empire

New Heavy Music From thrown

Swedish heavyweights thrown have officially launched the pre-order for their highly anticipated new album UNWANTED, set for release on November 6 via Arising Empire.

Few bands in modern heavy music have experienced a rise quite like thrown. In just a few years, the Swedish four-piece have gone from one of the scene's most exciting new names to a genuine international phenomenon, building a massive global audience with a sound that is instantly recognizable, relentlessly heavy, and impossible to ignore.

Now, UNWANTED captures thrown at the height of that momentum.

Following the impact of their acclaimed debut album EXCESSIVE GUILT, the new record takes everything that has made thrown one of today's most exciting heavy acts and pushes it even further. Crushing grooves collide with hardcore aggression, nu metal swagger, and an almost instinctive sense for hooks, creating songs that are brutally direct without sacrificing their infectious quality.

Lyrically, UNWANTED retains the raw honesty and confrontational attitude that have become inseparable from thrown. Frustration, self-reflection, resentment, isolation, and the absurdity of dealing with other people all find their way into the record, but rarely without the sarcasm, confidence, and blunt humor that give the band their unmistakable personality. Rather than dwelling on darkness, thrown turn it into fuel.

The first three singles have already demonstrated exactly how powerful that combination can be. "split" marked the beginning of this new chapter with a frantic collision of crushing heaviness and internal chaos. "rehearsed" followed with enormous grooves and a venomous edge, while "critic" turned outside noise and unsolicited opinions into a defiant statement from a band increasingly comfortable doing things entirely on their own terms.

Together, the tracks offer the first glimpse of an album that feels unmistakably thrown while showing just how far the band have come. UNWANTED is compact, aggressive, addictive, and built around impact. There is no unnecessary excess and barely a second wasted. That approach has propelled thrown to a level few emerging heavy bands reach this quickly.

Their 2022 debut EP EXTENDED PAIN surpassed 50 million streams across just five tracks and remained in Spotify's Global Metal Top 200 for almost a year. The momentum exploded further with 2024's EXCESSIVE GUILT, an eleven-track debut album delivered in little more than twenty minutes. Since then, thrown have grown to more than 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and accumulated well over 100 million streams worldwide, establishing themselves as one of the biggest breakout stories in contemporary heavy music.

Their impact reaches far beyond streaming. thrown have taken their explosive live show across North America, Europe and Australia, touring alongside artists including Knocked Loose, Fit For A King, Counterparts, While She Sleeps, and Wage War, while steadily building an international headline audience of their own.

The band's remarkable ascent has also been recognised by the wider heavy music community. thrown took home Best Breakthrough Live Artist at the Heavy Music Awards in 2024, followed by Best Breakthrough Album in 2025, further underlining their position among the leading names of a new generation of heavy music.

At the centre of it all are Marcus Lundqvist on vocals, Johan Liljeblad and Andreas Malm on guitars, and drummer and producer Buster Odeholm. Together, they have created a sound that pulls from hardcore, metalcore, and nu metal while belonging completely to thrown: Massive grooves, abrasive production, unforgettable hooks and songs designed to hit immediately.

With UNWANTED, thrown are no longer simply proving why they are one of heavy music’s most exciting breakthrough bands. They are showing exactly why they have become one of the most compelling heavy acts of their generation.

No filler. No compromise. No slowing down.

THUNDERMOTHER Announce New Album "Mothers of Thunder" Out February 5, 2027

Swedish hard rock queens THUNDERMOTHER are back with their Napalm Records studio debut, Mothers of Thunder, out on February 5, 2027. Their seventh album once again proves that the genre's leading ladies can do everything men could — and maybe even better. Their rock 'n' roll vibe comes in with dirty riffs and cheeky lines, the powerful delivery begging for energetic live shows.

THUNDERMOTHER have previously proven to excel at just that: after opening for the legendary Scorpions and Judas Priest, playing at iconic festivals like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, or Sweden Rock, and releasing their first live album, Live'n'Alive, in 2026, the four-piece is ready for a new era. Mothers of Thunder is high-energy encouragement for women as well as thrilling, head-bopping fun for everyone else.

Along with the announcement, THUNDERMOTHER turn the genre on its head with the first single, ''Bimbo Boost." Playing the epic riff to Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water'' backwards, the four-piece addresses the pressure on female artists to always look perfect when going on stage — an expectation that passes by male musicians.

THUNDERMOTHER about '"Bimbo Boost'":
''It's damn hard being a woman. We have to do our makeup, straighten our hair, reverse aging, and always look our best. It's exhausting. We wish we had a magic guitar booster pedal that instantly did all of that for us! We love making fun music videos, and this time we went bananas!”

Watch the Official Music Video for ''Bimbo Boost'' Below:

With their seventh album, THUNDERMOTHER take a step to become nothing less than rock goddesses. Mothers of Thunder is their time to shine, putting genre colleagues in their places with ease. The future belongs to THUNDERMOTHER!

THUNDERMOTHER about Mothers of Thunder:
''We know that it's what every band says when they're releasing a new album, but this time it's true. This is the best THUNDERMOTHER album yet! The songwriting, the playing, and the lyrical themes have reached the next level, and we can't wait to share Mothers of Thunder with the world!

"Mothers of Thunder has killer riffs, groovy grooves, and powerful vocals paired with fun energy and the occasional serious tone. But most importantly, it has Filippa, Joan, Linnéa, and Majsan! Our musicianship gets a real chance to shine, and I think you can hear how much fun we're having through your speakers.

"This album is for you, the old fans, the new fans, and the future fans. Together we will make sure to keep rock'n'roll alive and kicking! We are THUNDERMOTHER, and this is Mothers of Thunder. Play it loud, sing along, and don't forget to ROCK!”

CROSSBONE SKULLY ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM "CONDEMNED TO ROCK N' ROLL" + DROP "RIDING WITH ANGELS" VIDEO

Crossbone Skully, formed by Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), announce their sophomore album 'Condemned to Rock n' Roll', arriving January 29 via earMUSIC. Alongside the album announcement, Crossbone Skully drop their brand-new single ''Riding With Angels',' available now on all digital platforms.

Watch the video below.

Following ''Thunder Love," featuring Phil Collen', the new single offers another glimpse into the world of Condemned to Rock n' Roll, an album that captures the full spectrum of the band's sound and spirit.

''Condemned to Rock n' Roll'' draws inspiration from music that has shaped Henriksen throughout this life, from '80s metal, classic rock, pop, country, and everything in between. The result is what Henriksen stands for: ''Condemned to Rock n’ Roll is the sound of a life spent chasing the dream, the song, and everything that comes with it.''

Across the album's 14 tracks, themes of love, rebellion, and survival collide with Henriksen's unmistakable songwriting and voice. At its core, lies a simple truth:  ''I didn’t choose rock n' roll. I was condemned to it.''

Fronted by Henriksen and featuring fellow Alice Cooper guitarist Anna ''Blackthorn'' Cara, Crossbone Skully continue to expand their universe with a revolving cast of Rock n' Roll Misfits and collaborators. Behind the scenes, the album reunites Henriksen with executive producer Mutt Lange, acclaimed engineers Mike Plotnikoff and Olle Romo, mastering engineer Howie Weinberg, and Grammy-nominated mixer Jay Ruston, creating a powerhouse team behind the record.

PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM HERE.

ABOUT "RIDING WITH ANGELS":
Where ''Thunder Love'' delivered raw power and relentless energy, ''Riding With Angels'' reveals a different side of Crossbone Skully.
Henriksen explains, '''Riding With Angels' pays tribute to the people who hav traveled alongside me - the ones who supported me, believed in me, and helped me get through to the light.''

With the album now officially announced and available for pre-order, Crossbone Skully invite fans old and new to join them for the next chapter.

bødyWash. Share "baTTle" — LISTEN

bødyWash are a nu metal x alternative metal band from Nashville, Tennessee, featuring Jacob "Mogli" Horenburg on vocals; David Abbott on drums; Nick Conroy on guitar; and Luke Shoemaker on bass. The band exists to make heavy music feel massive again.

Today, they share their new single "baTTle." Listen here.

Watch the video Below:

"Coming off our surprise performance at Holy Smoke, we're pushing bødyWash into an even more aggressive place. We linked with Stema on our new track and brought a new layer of chaos and energy to this record, and the visual carries that same intensity. This release feels like another step toward what we’re building for 2027," says Mogli.

bødyWash write songs built around pressure, self-examination, and the process of pulling yourself back together. The music is aggressive, melodic, and emotionally exposed, with a focus on weight, atmosphere, and hooks that stay with people. Every part of the band’s sound is designed to feel immediate, from the guitars and drums to the vocals and visual identity.

That clarity has translated into rapid growth across streaming and social platforms. Through performance-driven content and a strong connection with new listeners, bødyWash has built momentum without relying on nostalgia or imitation. The band is part of a wider return to heavy music, but its focus is on where the genre can go next.

The long-term goal is simple: build a modern heavy band with cultural reach. bødyWash is making music for people carrying tension they do not know how to name, and for anyone trying to turn pain, anger, and isolation into something they can survive.

Rising Singer/Songwriter Kinsley Unveils Debut EP Learn To Live

Long before she began writing songs, MCA artist and Sony Music Nashville writer Kinsley turned to poetry as a way to process her feelings, experiences and the world around her. That love found its way into songwriting, where she discovered a place to tell stories with the honesty and emotion that have become central to her artistry. The 22-year-old singer/songwriter unveils her debut EP Learn To Live, available now via MCA.

“I hope people hear these songs and feel like they can find a piece of their own story in them,” shares Kinsley. “I’ve been in places where I didn’t have the words for what I was feeling, and music gave me somewhere to put all of that. I want to make music that gives people a place to feel seen, understood and a little less alone, the same way music has done that for me.”

Written with David DeVaul and Jack Hummel, Kinsley sets the tone for the project with “Pieces of Me,” a deeply personal introduction to her songwriting and the questions of identity that run through the project, set against an increasingly expansive production.

On “Someone Prayed For Me” and “Waiting Room,” she delves into darker territory, pulling from personal experiences and the stories of those around her to examine moments of struggle, uncertainty and the search for something to hold onto.

Featuring critically-acclaimed songstress Caitlyn Smith, who also serves as a co-writer on the track, “Cold July” reflects on the aftermath of a relationship that unraveled in spite of promises that seemed certain.

“Collaborating with Caitlyn Smith challenged me,” Kinsley reveals. “She pushed me both vocally and lyrically, and I am forever grateful and honored to have her on this song. She truly brings this track to life.”

“Whiplash” taps into Kinsley’s lifelong love of rock music, while title track “Learn To Live (Louder)” closes out the project. As the first original song she posted, "Learn To Live” resonated with people both online and at writers rounds, marking the beginning of the path that led to this collection and one of the first milestones in her evolution as an artist.

About Kinsley
MCA singer-songwriter Kinsley creates music rooted in honesty, healing, and human connection. With her debut six-song EP Learn To Live, available now, the 22-year-old blends vivid storytelling, poetic lyricism, and raw, soulful vocals to establish herself as a songwriter with a clear voice and perspective. Having grown up across California, Texas and Tennessee, the Nashville-based artist writes the kinds of songs that make listeners feel seen and understood. An “old soul” with a lifelong passion for poetry and songwriting, Kinsley approaches music as both emotional refuge and personal expression — creating deeply human songs that live at the intersection of vulnerability and healing. Gavin Adcock Releases “Bad Off”: His Last Single Before THE DAY I HANG IT UP Arrives Oct. 2

Georgia native Gavin Adcock has been steadily releasing songs for eight weeks leading into the release of his third studio album, The Day I Hang It Up, due Oct. 2. Now, with just one week remaining until the album is here, the man American Songwriter called “a modern-day outlaw” is releasing his final taste of the project today. Listen to “Bad Off” Below.

Written by Adcock, Jack Rauton, Joybeth Taylor and Colton Venner, “Bad Off” depicts the downward spiral following a breakup, and the bad decisions that go along with it.

Life was going my way, now I’m seein’ sideways
And every move I make is wrong
Livin’ out a Waylon song
Guess I’m doin’ one thing right
Yeah I’m Bad Off, up to no good tonight

Adcock recently invited fans to vote on which city they wanted to see host his album release shows. The overwhelming response led the singer to choose two cities: Studio at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on Oct. 5 and The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 8. To celebrate the title of the 18th track on the album, “18,” tickets cost just $18 and can be purchased HERE for Dallas and HERE for Atlanta, respectively.

With Music Row Magazine celebrating his “rowdy, high-octane performance,” it’s a reputation he’s bringing to fans across the country on his 30-city The Day I Hang It Up Tour. The trek features a rotating lineup of special guests, including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.

A proven must-see live performer, Adcock has sold out venues coast to coast across multiple headline tours, including the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour and Need To Tour. Most recently, he joined Morgan Wallen for select dates on both legs of Wallen’s 2025 and 2026 tours, earning explosive responses from audiences nationwide.

Kaitlin Butts Asks "What More Could You Want" Ahead of 'Hello, Honk Tonk' (10/30)

Tulsa-born singer/songwriter Kaitlin Butts turns inward with “What More Could You Want,” the latest offering from her upcoming fourth studio album, Hello, Honky Tonk, arriving October 30 via Republic Records. A Broadway-ready piano ballad, the song is an autobiographical sketch of a performer looking at herself in the mirror and asking how much more she has to give.

Listen to “What More Could You Want”  Below and pre-save Hello, Honky Tonk HERE.

Where other songs from Hello, Honky Tonk revel in the colorful characters, nightlife and theatrical spectacle of the honky tonk, “What More Could You Want” pulls back the curtain to reveal the person at the center of it all. The result is an intimate meditation on the complicated relationship between performing, seeking approval and wondering whether what you give is ever enough.

“That song feels exactly word for word what I feel like every day,” says Butts. “This tug and pull of loving this and craving this and loving to be on stage, loving every creative moment but also being stressed out wondering, ‘Do you like me? Do I need to be shinier? Do you want more?’”

Written from the perspective of someone who has spent years entertaining others while constantly questioning what they see when the lights go down, “What More Could You Want” offers one of the most exposed moments on Hello, Honky Tonk. The song’s restrained piano and unhurried pace leave plenty of room for Butts’ words to land, trading the larger-than-life spectacle of the honky tonk for a private moment of self-reflection.

Also available today, the music video for “What More Could You Want” directed by Chris Beyrooty. Continuing to find inspiration in the vaudeville vignettes of movie musical Chicago and Disney World’s beloved Country Bear Musical Jamboree, the clip brings the album’s cover to life giving Butts her own Teddi Barra moment.

It was during a recent trip to see the original Jamboree before it was updated, a favorite of hers as a kid, that inspiration struck. “When Teddi Barra came down from the ceiling on her swing, my mom and I just looked at each other and I was like, ‘That is me,’" she says of the cowboy-hatted, feather-boa sporting brown bear who inspired the album’s cover.

While Butts fantasizes about the lives of those who come to her virtual honky tonk, she hopes that fans walk out of it not just knowing her better, but themselves as well.

“All these songs are very deeply personal to me, and I relate to them word for word,” she says. “But my intention is never just to be relatable. I hope people find their own lives within the whole thing.”

Named one of Rolling Stone’s most anticipated albums for 2026, Hello, Honky Tonk is a love letter to the honky tonks and nightlife that have shaped Butts while becoming a huge part of her life on the road. Recorded in Nashville with producer Tofer Brown (Carter Faith, Willow Avalon, Little Big Town), the album brings to life a bar like no other, populated by a cast of characters listeners might recognize from the dance floor, behind the bar or from the corner booth.

The album’s theatrical world was inspired in part by the vaudeville vignettes of Chicago and Disney World’s Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Butts, who began performing in musical theatre as a child, envisioned the album as a place where all of these characters could coexist.

“The thought behind the concept was how in Chicago, the character Roxie Hart is dreaming up what her show would look like and all the people in it,” says Butts. “I picture all of this happening at Skinny Dennis here in Nashville. These are all the different people in the room. There's the bar fight that's happening. There's the bad girl that just got off work. There's me being the entertainer. There are so many people that really love the night life. It’s a connector for people.”

“What More Could You Want” follows Butts’ recent releases “I Wanna Be Bad” and “Never Really Mine.” Together, the songs offer glimpses of the wide-ranging characters, emotions and musical theatricality that await when listeners say Hello, Honky Tonk on Oct. 30.

The album continues the momentum of Butts’ critically acclaimed Roadrunner! in 2024, a bold reimagining inspired by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! that landed on numerous year-end best-of lists.

The new project marks Butts’ first full-length release since signing with Republic Records in October 2025 and follows The Yeehaw Sessions, her fan-favorite EP featuring genre-bending takes on songs including Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova,” Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle,” The Chicks’ “Sin Wagon” and Don Williams’ “Tulsa Time,” alongside her viral anthem “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead To Me),” which has amassed more than 157 million TikTok views and 67 million global streams.

Butts continues to expand her creative footprint both onstage and behind the camera. Earlier this year, she joined Willow Avalon on “Hypothetically Speaking” and its official video, starred in Ella Langley’s music video for the award-winning hit “Choosin’ Texas,” co-directed and wrote the treatment for Flatland Cavalry’s “Unglued” and joined The Band Perry on the reimagining of their hit “You Lie (Forever Version).”

She has also joined Lainey Wilson on her Whirlwind Tour and Ella Langley on The Dandelion Tour, headlined her own sold-out overseas tour with the European Cowgirl Experience and was featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s American Currents exhibition for the second consecutive year. She was also nominated for a 2026 MusicRow Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and was named to both the 2025 Opry NextStage class and the CMT Next Women of Country class.

Clutch Announce New Album 'Wasted Lands'; Share Music Video For Title Track

Maryland rock institution Clutch have announced their fourteenth studio album, Wasted Lands, set for release on January 22, 2027 via the band’s own Weathermaker Music. An extensive variety of pre-order bundles are available now HERE. The announcement arrives alongside the release of its raucously groovy, riff-driven title track, “Wasted Lands,” and accompanying official music video, available to stream HERE and watch below.

Written and recorded at their longtime Frederick, Maryland base, the Doom Saloon, Wasted Lands reunites Clutchwith producer Machine for the first time since 2015’s Psychic Warfare. The sheer velocity of their creative collaboration can be felt from the first note of the record and is expertly displayed on today’s release title track, “Wasted Lands”. Neil Fallon’s lyrical knack of conjuring characters from a handful of strange, sharply observed details and dropping them into Clutch songs with their own vibrant and storied mythologies has long been a defining characteristic of the Clutch canon. On “Wasted Lands,” he conjures a creature so malign that H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King are invoked only to make clear that even they could not dream it up. Rumor casts it as a government experiment, a heavenly angel or an omen preparing the ground for the end of days. Nobody knows for certain. The locals call it Neil Patrick Fallon. Sharing some thoughts on today’s release, Neil Fallon says

"The inspiration for the lyrics in Wasted Lands came about when it was brought to my attention that someone had been dragging my name on FaceBook (weird, right?). Apparently, I had reneged on a free t-shirt and dinner. I think it was a prize in a pay to play contest. Not to overstate the obvious, but it was a load of horse hockey. Many people tried to explain to this person that it was not me and that they had been hustled. But they simply would not believe it. So I thought, screw it, no half-measures. You want a monster? Let’s give you one."

Beneath Fallon’s lyrical story-craft, Jean-Paul Gaster, Dan Maines and Tim Sult lock into a classic-Clutch, riff-driven groove featuring a very intentional and strategically placed bass-drum hit from Gaster. One he knew would make the live crowd go wild. He shares

“There’s a part where Neil says, ‘Vegetable, mineral, man, or beast.’ And I put a bass drum on, ‘man or beast,’ and Machine thought that was kind of weird. He was like, ‘Man, you’re covering up the vocal!’ And I said, ‘No, that bass drum is gonna make the crowd go nuts, I guarantee it.’ And it does, because there’s nothing more exciting than having a big bass drum slam through a PA, and Neil singing a vocal on top of it. I mean, I get goosebumps from that, you know?”

Across Wasted Lands, Clutch keep their riff-heavy foundations intact while making room for a sharper melodic streak. Tracks including “Colorado Fuel and Iron,” “Stage Fright” and “Loaf and Jug” build their considerable weight around chord progressions as much as individual riffs. “Beware the Fever” brings banjo onto a Clutch record for the first time, using a rough demo played by Fallon and recorded by Gaster during a writing session. Despite several attempts to re-record the performance, nothing quite came close so the original recording is what went on the record.

Fallon’s lyrics open in the rubble of the Georgia Guidestones on “The Drifter Returns” and close beneath an exploding star on “The Message is Clear.” The route between them runs through Colorado’s Highway 50, abandoned company towns, corporate appetites, creature-feature horror and deep space.

Speaking on the announcement of their fourteenth studio album, Clutch share

“Exploded monuments, haunted coal towns, robber barons, time cops, a chestburster, fifteen tons of antimatter and a creature called Neil Patrick Fallon. Wasted Lands came from one clear intention: write a great rock record that will make fans go nuts when they hear these songs live, while leaving enough space in the creative process to follow the unexpected turns that keep Clutch exciting to us and our fans after thirty-five years together.”

Wasted Lands will be released worldwide on January 22, 2027 via Weathermaker Music. To pre-order the album and see all music and apparel products available in the US and additional territories, go to clutchmerch.com

US fans will have the opportunity to experience some of the new material from Wasted Lands for the first time when the band head out on their 16-date US headline tour next month with support from Slomosa and Blood Vulture. The run begins October 16 at The Fillmore Charlotte and closes November 7 at The NorVa in Norfolk, taking Clutchthrough the South, Midwest and Northeast ahead of the album’s January release. SICKSENSE Release New EP Funerals, Alongside Official Music Video For "Seller's Remorse"

Reinvigorated and reinvented, modern metal act SICKSENSE return with the new EP release Funerals. Comprised of a ferocious collection of tracks that demonstrate a fresh sonic direction, SICKSENSE present a nu-metalcore dynamic with hints of melodic prog and djent. Alongside the arrive of Funeralsis a new official music video for the aggressive and unapologetic "Seller's Remorse."

"'Seller's Remorse' calls out hypocritical backstabbers." The band explain.

"Without giving away any spoilers, we had a fun day of laughs out in the sun filming the music video for this one!

The lyrics take a dig at the ones who are too lazy to build up anything meaningful themselves. So they decide to tear down harder working people instead, as a cope for their own shortcomings.

Sicksense is never shy to tell it like it is through sarcasm and blunt honesty."

ALICE COOPER & DICK WAGNER'S LONG-LOST CONCEPT ALBUM FINALLY COMES TO LIFE AS MARYANN COTTON'S CHESTER ROSE, ARRIVING OCTOBER 30th THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT

A remarkable chapter in rock history is finally being completed. Conceived years ago by Alice Cooper and his longtime collaborator Dick Wagner, Chester Rose was envisioned as a theatrical concept album in the spirit of Welcome to My Nightmare, a dark, cinematic production intended for both album and television.

From the beginning, Cooper and Wagner imagined the project being brought to life by a younger artist with the right voice, charisma, and theatrical presence. That artist became Maryann Cotton, who was discovered by Wagner and taken under his wing before being introduced to Cooper. Cotton later relocated from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Los Angeles to work directly on the album and its evolving concept.

Written by Alice Cooper, Dick Wagner, and Maryann Cotton, Chester Rose tells the story of a rock star turned serial killer whose twisted descent into lust, romance, obsession, and murder unfolds across twelve captivating tracks. The album takes listeners on a dramatic journey, beginning with explosive hard rock energy before evolving into darker and more sophisticated storytelling reminiscent of Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, and classic Alice Cooper.

The first single, "Thief of Hearts," is available now. "“Thief of Hearts” was one of the first songs Dick Wagner and Alice Cooper had written for the concept, and one of the very first songs Dick ever played for me.

Throughout this entire project, I’ve tried to stay respectful and true to the core of the original concept Dick created, while at the same time expanding on it and ultimately turning it into Maryann Cotton’s world. With “Thief of Hearts” in particular, I wanted to stay as true as possible to Alice’s original vocal lines and phrasing from the original version that was presented to me. It was important to me to preserve the DNA of what Dick and Alice created while still making the song my own.

I remember hearing the song for the first time and being completely blown away. As a lifelong Alice Cooper fan, it immediately took me back to somewhere between 1975 and 1977. It had that unmistakable Cooper/Wagner trademark, feel and attitude. You could hear exactly where it came from.",
says Maryann Cotton.

Although extensive pre-production work was completed and multiple versions of the project were developed, the album was never fully recorded or released. Tragically, Dick Wagner passed away shortly before the project was scheduled to enter the studio.

Determined to fulfill the vision he had shared with Cooper and Wagner, Cotton revisited the project two years ago. He reopened the original Pro Tools sessions, painstakingly restoring Wagner's guitar riffs and solos while carefully cleaning, editing, and mixing the material to preserve its original spirit. Longtime collaborator Steve Hunter became an integral part of the process, contributing throughout the completion of the album.

Adding to the project's significance, Tommy Henriksen of Hollywood Vampires contributed both rhythm and lead guitar performances. Much of the album features the legendary guitar partnership of Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner, making Chester Rose the final recording in rock history to feature performances from both musicians together. The result is a powerful and timeless hard rock album that bridges generations while preserving the creative vision of two of rock's most celebrated collaborators.
