EARSHOT Release New Single + Video "Love Left" via Judge & Jury Records ​    

Alternative rock band Earshot has released its new single “Love Left,” out now on Judge & Jury / SV Records, along with the song’s official music video. Pairing the band’s heavy, atmospheric sound with one of frontman Wil Martin’s most personal lyrical themes, “Love Left” asks a deceptively simple question: when everything feels dark, is there still love left?

 

For Martin, the question grew out of a period of intense fear and anxiety following the death of Chris Cornell, an artist he revered.

 

“Chris Cornell’s death shook me to my absolute core,” says Martin. “It wasn’t just the loss of an artist I revered; it was the terrifying realization that someone who, from the outside, seemed to have so much - talent, family, success, freedom - could still somehow be completely overwhelmed by internal pain and hopelessness. I was riddled with anxiety for weeks.”

 

What stayed with Martin was an unsettling question that became increasingly personal.

 

“I would often think to myself: if someone who has every reason to live can still be consumed by darkness, where does that leave people like me? Could any of us suddenly self-destruct without seeing it coming?”

 

That question ultimately found its way into “Love Left” and its central refrain: “Tell me is there love left? Any hope of us left? Before we throw it all away? Tell me is there love left?”

 

“I don’t pretend to have all or even any of the answers,” Martin says. “But what I came to believe for myself is that as long as I can find even just a spark of love within me, there’s something there to hold onto. That realization became the soul of this song.”

 

“Love Left” also reflects Martin’s frustration with a culture he believes places too much pressure on people to appear happy and okay, even when they aren’t.

 

“I think we’re suffocating under a culture that demands constant happiness and perfection,” he says. “I want to shatter that lie. It’s okay to have bad days, bad months or even bad years. Pain is real. Grief is real, but so is growth. Feeling down, lost or exhausted doesn’t mean you’re broken - it means you’re human. For me, ‘Love Left’ is about finding that small glimmer of love inside yourself and not throwing it away.”

The official music video gives that idea a stark visual language. Set against a dark, crumbling backdrop, a single glowing light bulb represents the fragile inner spark someone is fighting to protect as everything around them appears to fall apart. The destructive, industrial imagery mirrors the internal struggle at the center of the song.

The release comes as Earshot is experiencing renewed momentum with both longtime fans and a new generation of listeners. Over the past year, the band’s Spotify monthly listeners have more than doubled. Earshot currently reaches more than 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, while its recent album Humaning has surpassed one million streams.

 

Earshot will take “Love Left” on the road this fall, including a September 18 performance at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.

Der Weg einer Freiheit Announce Instrumental Version of Innern

The German progressive black metal band Der Weg einer Freiheit are announcing an instrumental version of their critically-acclaimed sixth album. The instrumental version of Innern marks the album’s one-year anniversary by highlighting the compositions and instrumentation that underpins one of the band’s most introspective albums.  

Along with the announcement, today, Der Weg einer Freiheit are releasing the instrumental version of “Xibalba” across all digital platforms. The song carries particular significance for Innern. It was the first song on the album that the band finished the instrumentation for but was the last to receive vocals.

"The initial idea came from our bassist, Alan," says Der Weg einer Freiheit vocalist and guitarist Nikita Kamprad. Alan Noruspur spent months living with the instrumental version of "Xibalba" during the writing process for Innern. He found himself missing it once vocals were added. That attachment led the band to reconsider an idea they had floated even before the original release of Innern: a fully instrumental companion to the album.

The instrumental edition is not simply a muted version of the original mix. Kamprad built an entirely new mix for the release, rebalancing instrument levels and adding new atmospheric layers in places. "The instrumental version has to carry the same atmosphere, emotion and narrative on its own," he explains. "Removing the vocals allows all of these carefully crafted details to breathe." With the vocal layer gone, the synthesizers and ambient textures that give Innern its cinematic scale, treated by Kamprad as compositional elements rather than embellishments, move to the foreground, alongside the interplay between Kamprad and Nicolas Rausch's guitars, Alan Noruspur's bass and Tobias Schuler's drums.

"Every song usually begins as an instrumental composition, so in many ways, this version of Innern represents the songs in their original form” Kamprad says. “We don't see it as an alternative to the original album, but as another perspective on the same body of work, one that places the focus entirely on the music itself."

EMBERS OF DAWN Present "The Only Gods (Remix)" Ahead Of Forthcoming Album 'Infernal Culture'

EMBERS OF DAWN have unveiled "The Only Gods (Remix)", a remixed version of their 2023 release. The heavy industrial quartet's forthcoming full-length album Infernal Culture, is scheduled to arrive on September 18, 2026.

Guitarist Cliff Ross shares, "The song frames 'gods' not as divine beings, but as corrupt constructs — machines of power, ideology, and control. It argues that the figures and systems we worship — governments, machines, corporations, war structures, even technology — are not gods at all, but false idols that bleed us dry, divide us, and lead us nowhere."

The soundscape is elevated with enhanced electronics and industrial elements. A heightened impact throughout the sound is achieved with additional sharp and abrasive textures. RYAN BEUSCHEL ELEVATED TO CO-HEAD AT THE NEAL AGENCY

Following three years as General Manager at The Neal Agency (TNA), Ryan Beuschel has been elevated to Co-Head alongside Adi Sharma and Founder/CEO Austin Neal.
 
During his tenure as GM, Beuschel oversaw significant company growth, including the expansion of the roster to over 30 clients and the establishment of TNA Music Publishing and their artist development arm, Cervidae Records. In his new role, Beuschel will co-lead office operations and oversee teams focusing on touring, film, television and brand sponsorship opportunities, while continuing to manage the publishing and artist development departments he implemented.

Progressive Trio SOURCE Release New Track "Stimulus"

SOURCE present "Stimulus," the first single offering from the forthcoming 5th studio album. Rooted sonically in heavy psychedelic prog rock and thematically in introspection, "Stimulus" brings intensity, electronics and an industrial touch. 

Lyrically, "'Stimulus' speaks to experiencing symptoms of ADHD and Autism. It tells the story of a stimulus addicted brain that struggles with stillness". The band explain. "['Stimulus'] also speaks largely to post-tour depression. Touring is such a constant, stimulating, exciting, terrifying, inspiring experience compared to regular life at home. This song tells the story of learning to go on tour and come back home while appreciating every aspect of the journey".

On the sound and arrangement of "Stimulus," SOURCE shares: 
"It starts with fat, crunchy electronic percussion with a flavor of NIN industrial sounds which transition flawlessly into the opening chorus with a killer fill on drum kit. This is the first time in any Source song that we’ve started with a chorus. We wanted the song to fit a more traditional arrangement format while always progressing and being stimulating."

Musically, "Stimulus" carries movement and energy alongside a distinctly textural arrangement of instrumental and electronic layers. From psychedelic granular vocal delays and electronic percussion to metallic glitches and an enticing melodic bass line, the track consistently introduces and develops moments of interest.

Based out of Boulder, Colorado, SOURCE was originally formed in 2014 by Benjamin Gleason, Dan Crisafulli, and Georges Bou Serhal. Entertainment Attorney Randy Ojeda Launches Artist-First Music Release Series, RANDY OJEDA ESQ

Entertainment attorney Randy Ojeda today announced the launch of RANDY OJEDA ESQ, a curated music release series built around a simple idea: great songs deserve champions.

Created as an alternative to the traditional record-label model, RANDY OJEDA ESQ will spotlight exceptional independent artists through individually selected releases while allowing participating artists to retain what matters most: their rights and royalties.

RANDY OJEDA ESQ will not acquire an artist's catalog, publishing, or royalty income. Instead, every release will be structured as a collaboration with the artist. Ojeda will executive produce and curate each release, coordinate its rollout, oversee marketing, and actively pitch the music for potential industry opportunities, while the featured artist retains 100% of their master royalties and 100% of their publishing.

"I just want to stand behind great music and build a catalog of releases I'm genuinely proud of," said Ojeda. "If someone discovers their new favorite artist because of this project, or if an artist gets one step closer to landing a record deal, publishing deal, or sync placement because we believed in their song, then I've done my job."

Rather than focusing on release volume, RANDY OJEDA ESQ will be intentionally selective. Every song will be hand-picked, with an emphasis on exceptional records, distinctive artists, and compelling stories. Drawing on Ojeda's experience across entertainment law, artist management, business development, and A&R, the project will provide artists with strategic guidance, industry relationships, legal expertise, and hands-on support designed to give each release the strongest possible opportunity to succeed.

At its core, RANDY OJEDA ESQ is also intended to make a broader statement about what an artist-first model can look like in today's independent music industry: creating value through curation, advocacy, and strategic execution rather than through ownership of an artist's rights.

The release series will be distributed in partnership with Symphonic Distribution, which has agreed to waive its distribution fees for every RANDY OJEDA ESQ release, enabling participating artists to receive 100% of their royalties.

The partnership marks a meaningful full-circle moment for Ojeda, who worked at Symphonic Distribution in Business Development and A&R before becoming an entertainment attorney. During his time with the company, he worked directly with independent artists to navigate releases and develop their careers. Years later, he returns to Symphonic with a project rooted in many of the same artist-first principles.

THROWLIGHT Release New Single And Video "No Kings (feat. DJ Sku)"

"No Kings" featuring DJ Sku is the new single release from modern, genre-fusing act, THROWLIGHT. Combining rap, metal and hardcore with a punk edge, the new track sees THROWLIGHT challenge the current American administration’s policies of injustice and discrimination.

TEMIC Release Pristine New Ballad "Broken"

TEMIC certainly lived up to the hype with their chart-topping debut, but the international prog supergroup have grown by leaps and bounds on their mighty and magical second album. Fans and critics are trembling in anticipation for Ceiba, the group’s thunderous ode to loss.  

Today, TEMIC are releasing the second advanced single from Ceiba.  “Broken” bares the album’s soul with grief and grace.

“‘Broken’ is built around overwhelming emotion and honesty”, TEMIC vocalist Fredrik Klemp says. “We wrote the song in 30 minutes. It came together instinctively. There was no need to overthink it or make it into something more than what it already was. We simply allowed it to be what it is. I think that’s where the song gets its strength”.

“The honesty of this song became very important to my vocal performance”, Klemp continues. “It connects to experiences and emotions that are deeply personal to me. Rather than distance myself from them, I wanted to let those emotions come through in my voice. My performance sits deliberately close to the edge, fragile and unsteady, as if it could give way at any moment”.

TRIUMPH RETURNS WITH LEG 2 OF LAUDED “ROCK & ROLL MACHINE RELOADED TOUR” CELEBRATING 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Triumph, one of Canada’s most revered and influential rock bands, returns with Leg 2 of the Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded Tour, continuing the band’s 50th year Anniversary in music. Following a resonant return to form, the first leg of the tour met with fan exuberance at every stop and resonated across social media, prompting the addition of 16 new shows across the United States due to popular demand. Special guest April Wine will again join Triumph for the newly announced dates.

The second leg will take Triumph through major markets across the Midwest, Northeast, Southwest, and West Coast in November and December. The tour features Rik Emmett and Gil Moore, alongside Phil X, Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz, bringing Triumph’s legendary catalog to arenas across the country. The newly announced run will culminate with December 10th and 12th performances at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and at Viejas Arena in San Diego, respectively.

LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE Share "Nevermore" Video

Dark metal band Lacrimas Profundere released their new single and video for the song "Nevermore" today. The song is also included on the upcoming studio album Lay Me Down O Silent Fear.

Guitar player Oliver Nikols Schmid says, "'Nevermore' was one of the last songs written for the album. Our singer Julian immediately loved the music, which in parts reminded him of Type O Negative. I, on the other hand, initially thought it was more of a B-side. Then he came up with this catchy vocal melody, almost reminiscent of my old heroes, Bon Jovi, but I was still unsure. We agreed to put the song through a few live tests — something we had never done before. Well, what can I say? Even though nobody had ever heard the song before, people immediately started singing along at the top of their lungs. And even after the song ended, the entire venue kept chanting 'NE-VER-MORE, NE-VER-MORE' for minutes. That was the moment I knew: This is it! In a way, this is our 'As I Die,' which originally wasn't even supposed to make it onto Paradise Lost's Shades of God album, but ultimately became their breakthrough. That's exactly what we're hoping for now."

GORGONAUT Presents New Single "Mastertape", An Exploration Of Being One Small Cog In A Machine

Through heavy rhythms and electronic textures, GORGONAUT presents a dynamic sound in the new single release, "Mastertape". The Chicago-based solo project, led by multi-instrumentalist Ryan Bruchert (BLACK SITES, HEWHOCORRUPTS, TRIALS, CENTAURUS), will unveil the forthcoming EP Ayame on October 16, 2026. 

Bruchert comments on the concept behind "Mastertape":
"It's the idea that you are one small cog in the machine. You are not the driver - it drives you. The subject matter relates to the mechanic nature of the music itself - the instruments are not individual, and their purpose is primarily to serve the rhythm".

The single's syncopated rhythm is at the heart of the construction of "Mastertape." Only in the track's chorus does the rhythm take a step back and heavy, layered chords carry a dramatic impact. The song's structure sees a half-time choir break before the dynamic energy of "Mastertape" reaches its climax during the middle section in a soft repeat of the chorus.  

GORGONAUT and the forthcoming EP arose from a desire to continue writing, creating and producing music alongside major life changes. Ayame delves into introspective themes, obsession, loss of control but also of taking future success into one's own hands. 

Ayame was produced, mixed and mastered by Ryan Bruchert at Biffco Studios. The EP cover artwork was created by artist Darius Puia @instagram.bakaarts.
