Explosive hard rock band DOGMA return to the States this Spring on the Time to Rise Pt. 1. U.S. Tour 2026 with special guests Frayle.  Kicking off on March 15 in Seattle, WA, and wrapping on April 3 in Philadelphia, this leg of the tour will see the group perform on key dates in New York City, Washington, D.C., San Diego, Dallas, and more.  Full dates are below.  

Frontperson Lilith says, “Last October and November, during our last U.S tour dates, we carried a message that was still taking shape. Some paths were broken before they could be completed, and certain cities were left waiting. That tension did not fade. It stayed with us, sharpened us, and demanded a proper return.”

After 20 years, Bleed from Within have reached their Zenith. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. The upward journey reaches new heights on their seventh album, which contains the band’s heaviest, catchiest and most intrepid music to date.

Bleed – vocalist Scott Kennedy, guitarists Craig “Goonzi” Gowans and Steven Jones, drummer Ali Richardson and bassist Davie Provan – have long been Scottish metal’s most valued sons, constantly at the vanguard of muscular-sounding music. Roman Candle share "Can We Watch Something Happy?" today, arriving with an accompanying music video. Written from the perspective of Piper Ferrari's childhood self, the track documents the cycle of uncontrolled intrusive thoughts, compulsive prayer, and the overwhelming guilt of believing her own mind was a sin. Speaking on the theme of the new single, Piper shares

"'Can We Watch Something Happy' is written from the perspective of my childhood self. I struggled with severe OCD growing up, which was intensified by being raised in a religious household. I wasn't diagnosed until much later, so for most of my youth I didn't understand what was happening — I just remember being scared all the time.There was a constant cycle of praying for the intrusive thoughts to go away, eventually giving in to them, and then praying again for forgiveness. That's where the repeated 'one more time' comes from. It wasn't about depression or suicidality; it was about trying to survive this overwhelming fear of thoughts I didn't want, and then feeling deep guilt because I believed even having those thoughts was a sin."

Roman Candle has built their Sumerian Records tenure on unflinching examination of difficult and vulnerable topics such as mental health and trauma. Prior to today's new track, the band released the critically acclaimed singles "Fire In The Night Sky Forever.", "This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn't Go With A Gun," and "Nothing Is Original". Each track stakes new ground in how the band articulates pain without softening its edges or asking for easy answers. "Can We Watch Something Happy?" continues that trajectory.

WORMWITCH Kicks Off Canadian Headlining Tour Tomorrow, January 22

WORMWITCH is ringing in the new year with a headlining run across Canada along with support from Vancouver's SCALDING! The trek starts tomorrow, January 22, in Ottawa, ON and will conclude on January 26 in Sherbrooke (QC). The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

The band previously commented, "Wormwitch is finally making our long overdue return to the great Canadian shield, this time joined by our western brethren in Scalding. These are sure to be five frigid evenings of unhinged Canadian metal, square in the middle of what is predicted to be a particularly unforgiving winter.”

Like black wings from an obsidian sky, WORMWITCH descended from the darkness in 2015, somewhere upon the rain-soaked woodlands of coastal British Columbia. Animated from the bones of several local punk and metal bands, the new entity set out to combine a melodic blackened death assault with the ferocity and attitude of crust punk and classic rock and roll, jettisoning the burdens of ceremony and pomp that dominate the genre today. 

WORMWITCH released their first demo, 'The Long Defeat' in 2015, and shortly after signed to Prosthetic Records, under whom they released 'Strike Mortal Soil' (2017), 'Heaven that Dwells Within' (2019), and 'Wolf Hex' (2021). During that time the band toured with the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation, Midnight, Necrot, Uada, Bewitcher, and many others, earning themselves a dedicated cult following and international critical praise. In 2022, WORMWITCH struck out to independently release a string of singles and embark upon several tours of North America. After a busy festival season, 2024 saw the release of a six-song split with Atlanta black-thrashers Sadistic Ritual.

Now, with blades meticulously honed and tempered under the light of a feral Canadian moon, WORMWITCH emerges once more to offer their fourth full length record. Simply self-titled, “Wormwitch” is a statement of a band coming into it’s own - a revelrous celebration of devilish speed, searing melody and diabolical intensity.

LEAVES’ EYES Release Epic Music Video For Title Track Of New EP “Song Of Darkness”

LEAVES’ EYES open a new chapter in 2026 with the release of their upcoming EP Song Of Darkness! The band now unveils the title track and EP opener together with an epic new video, offering the first full glimpse into this next creative cycle.

Recorded at Mastersound Studio under the production of band mastermind Alexander Krull, the EP expands the group’s trademark fusion of orchestral depth and metallic intensity. It captures LEAVES’ EYES at a moment of artistic strength, balancing sweeping symphonic arrangements with an earthy, human pulse. Lyrically, Song Of Darkness travels along the shifting borders between myth, magic, and history. The title track itself draws inspiration from the medieval Icelandic saga of Gisli the Outlaw, leading listeners into a world of murder, intrigue, guilt-ridden dreams, and the hope for redemption.

Via Doloris Announces Debut Album Guerre et Paix

Via Doloris is rooted in an inward journey rather than orthodoxy. Conceived in solitude and shaped by discipline, composer and multi-instrumentalist Gildas Le Pape traces a restrained and introspective path through black metal’s formal foundations, guided by melody, atmosphere and emotional clarity. He’s joined by Frost, the legendary drummer of Satyricon and 1349, who provides a sense of persistence, grounded and unyielding.  

Today, Via Doloris is announcing its debut album Guerre et Paix. Positioned at the heart of the album, lead single “For the Glory” traces a slow ascent from an inner collapse to a fragile sense of self-awareness, capturing a core tension between endurance and surrender.

Kenny Adds SIX Sphere Shows in July; Look for Big Fly-Away Energy

When Kenny Chesney decides to do something – whether it’s Heart Life Music, his No. 1 New York Times best-seller, which he called “a love letter to the journey,” or taking No Shoes Nation into a whole new dimension with his groundbreaking Sphere residency – he truly commits to the process, the music, the experience, and especially the fans. Having realized all the opportunities Sphere’s production capabilities offer to deepen how people experience these songs that have defined their lives, he doubled down on playing Sphere in 2026.
 
“Beyond how different it was, there was all the fun,” offers the 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee. “Seeing all the faces, plus all the crazy things we could do with the sound and visuals, I knew well before we finished, we were coming back and taking all of it even further. With all the work that’s going into changing up over half the show, adding more songs we might not be able to play in stadiums, pulling some surprises, five shows weren’t going to be enough…
 
“When we were able to make the 4th of July weekend a flyaway, come stay, see Guitars, Tiki Bars and let’s share a whole lotta love, I was very much, ‘Let’s do it.’ So, we did. Like we flashed on the screen at our final show when it said, ‘See you next summer’ – we’re setting up for summer vacation, only the sand isn’t a beach, and you don’t have to drive anywhere!”
 
For the only country artist on Pollstar’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the 21st Century – landing between Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Metallica – creating the ultimate concert experience requires a lot of commitment. Taking Sphere even further means the five previously announced June shows and these six dates will be Chesney’s only headlining concerts this summer.

Calling last year’s residency “a sonic and visual rollercoaster,” USA Today headlined their review “Kenny Chesney delivers a vibrant, visually arresting feast.” While it’s a high bar to cross, it’s everything the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee lives for. Not only is he thinking about how to make it even more, Chesney’s looking to enrich the feeling of community for the millions of people who’ve lived, loved and built their best times inside his songs.
 
“This isn’t something you can do every year,” explains Billboard’s No. 1 Country Artist of the 21st Century. “But to be able to put two years together, to take what you know and double down on something so unique? Beyond Chesney’s high energy shows, this year’s Sphere concerts will include several different ways to experience Kenny culture. About Paul Di'Anno's Warhorse:
The core of the band and founders are Paul Di'Anno, vocals, Hrvoje Madiraca, guitar and Ante Pupačić Pupi, guitar.
 
Paul Andrews, a British singer better known by his stage name Paul Di’Anno, his nearly half-century-long career began explosively with Iron Maiden, when with the EP ‘The Soundhouse Tapes’, and the albums ‘Iron Maiden’ and ‘Killers ‘ forever cemented the foundations of heavy metal. With timeless hits like ‘Iron Maiden’, ‘Remember Tomorrow’, ‘Running Free’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Killers’, ‘Wratchild’, Murders in the Rue Morgue’, ‘Purgatory’ etc., they influenced numerous musicians and bands and were responsible for the creation or development of many subgenres in metal music.

Paul was known as one of the most productive singers, who had a huge number of albums and other releases behind him, either as a solo artist or a member of bands such as Gogmagog, Di’Anno’s Battlezone, Praying Mantis, Killers, Architects of Chaoz or Warhorse. In all his incarnations, Paul always knew how to find a way to the fans, with numerous hits, uncompromising singing, whichwas confirmed by his successful career and furious live shows around the world.

 
This icon of heavy metal with the heart of a punk rock rebel never spared himself in his life, but he always gave everything for music and fans, which is why they have followed him faithfully for almost fifty years.
 

Warhorse was the final original band/project of Paul Di’Anno. The first idea of forming a band arose in December 2021, when Paul and guitarist Hrvoje Madiraca met in Zagreb, Croatia. The formation and naming of this project happened simultaneously with the writing and recording of new songs, which were started immediately after Paul and Hrvoje joined hands and thus formed the band. Warhorse independently released the DVD single ‘Stop the War’ in a limited edition of 666 copies and sold it out in just a few days. This was followed by the fantastic ‘Stop the War’ lyric video, which delighted fans around the world. The Warhorse project gathered fantastic guest musicians on some songs. The core of the band itself is the three ‘horsemen’ Paul Di’Anno – vocals, Hrvoje Madiraca – guitars and Ante Pupačić Pupi – Guitars.

UADA Honors New Moon with Haunting Acoustic Version of "The Purging Fire"

Enigmatic black metal masters UADA are honoring the first new moon of 2026 with a very special track. The band is now unveiling a haunting neo-folk acoustic version of their seminal song, "The Purging Fire," from the band's critically-acclaimed 2018 full-length, 'Cult of a Dying Sun.' The moving version of the song can now be found along with a music video below.

The video was filmed and edited by Karl Whinnery and directed by Jake Superchi, with Evan Gandy serving as the co-director of photography.

UADA comments, "Following the first New Moon of the year, in the heart of the Wolf Moon cycle, it feels like an exceptional moment to present an unprecedented rendition from the UADA catalog.

"To re-create something in such a radically different and unique way was nothing short of a challenge—a challenge that had been calling for some time. One that demanded to be answered.

"Although the structural foundation of the piece was already in place, the execution itself unfolded as an impromptu session, allowing the natural essence to emerge freely and significantly.

"While we may have had preconceptions about how the musical and vocal interpretation might sound leading up to its (re)creation, everything transformed in the moment of realization, embracing a liberated state of “come what may.”

"Folk music and art have always been a profound influence, and even though this piece was recorded two and a half years ago, the presence of folk elements in our lives and writing feels more prominent today than ever before.

"Though we assume most may not fully grasp our necessity for this adaptation, we hope it will ignite a primal awakening within listeners—to seek the ancient ways and venture into a past that feels increasingly forgotten in the current state of the world."

In addition, UADA has joined forces with industrial metal artist MORTIIS for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair. Moreover, after much demand from fans, UADA will be returning to Milwaukee Metal Fest for the second time since leaving their mark during the 2024 edition. Only Human Announce Inventive Debut 'Planned Obsolescence'

No matter the day and age, progressive metal never strays from the cutting edge. ONLY HUMAN are fresh on the scene having now signed with Season of Mist. But the Danish upstarts are already on the brink of a major discovery with their inventive debut album. Planned Obsolescence pushes prog metal in a truly forward-thinking direction while warning of our not-too-distant dystopia.

“We wanted ONLY HUMAN to be about something”, says vocalist Patrick Grønbæch Christensen, who also produced, mixed and mastered their debut album. “Planned Obsolescence is supposed to wake people up to all the ways technocracy is encroaching on society. We now live in a reality where humans are products to be consumed and disposed”.

Today, ONLY HUMAN are announcing Planned Obsolescence with a suspenseful video for the album’s lead single. “Automata” transmits a chilling message for the future, but the band’s cutting-edge fusion hits like a deep breath of fresh air.

Concept albums are standard procedure for metal, especially when it comes to the prog space. But when the five members of ONLY HUMAN came together via online and IRL connections, they wired the entire band’s framework around one encroaching idea. “Automata” surfs its synthetic grooves with clear command, as if by simply pressing a button. Though beneath its shining surface, the song processes the inherent danger in letting technology determine our individual thought patterns. During the music video, three thrill seekers follow guidance from their smartphone. Good times are had along the way, but tragically, they never stop to question whether it’s leading them to a dead end.

“We’ve offloaded critical thought”, Christensen explains. “We’re not really doing things because we want to do them. It’s because an algorithm has decided that’s what we should do”.

Planned Obsolescence is fueled by existential dread. Like a virus, electronic beats hack into the hard drive of “Automata”, much in the same way that technology continues to creep into our everyday lives. But that doesn’t mean that the album leaves us without hope. There’s nothing broken, outmoded or dated about ONLY HUMAN. When main-frame shaking riffs reduce the song to digital ash, their message rings out loud and clear. “Defy and learn to walk again”.

“When the world is going badly, the reason is because people gave up”, says Christensen. “Things aren’t hopeless. We can absolutely fight back. Hopefully, this album gets people to think about valuing humanity over profit”.

ONLY HUMAN’s vision for the future verges on apocalyptic. “Breach” closes the album by looking past the point of no return. Amidst its crushing despair, even the song’s glowing keys appear like a comet bound for Earth. But while fueled by existential dread, Planned Obsolescence isn’t void of hope. After all, there’s nothing broken, outmoded or dated about this new band. Unlike the attempts of artificial intelligence, their fusion of prog, djent, hard rock and electronic soundscapes is the product of much care and hard work. They had to tinker with several different versions before “Steep Descent” finally reached its climactic bridge. "Cast your flame beyond this bleak reality”, Christensen beckons as dizzying melodies and a stellar guitar solo propel him and his bandmates into the next stratosphere.

Legendary metal pioneers SEPULTURA have announced their final 'Celebrating Life Through Death' North American tour, marking the end of an era. After more than 4 decades, 14 gold records, and tours across 80 countries and diverse cultures, SEPULTURA has become one of the most influential metal bands of our time, serving as Brazil's emissary to the rest of the world. 

Hailing from Belo Horizonte, the quartet will spread Brazil's colours and rhythms for a final time. ANTIMOZDEBEAST Releases New Single "Torn Mentality," Announces Forthcoming Album The Vagrant Unkempt Grave

ANTIMOZDEBEAST, the extreme industrial and electronic black metal project of multi instrumentalist and producer Gabriel Palacio, has released the new single "Torn Mentality". The track stands as one of the core thematic works from the upcoming full length album The Vagrant Unkempt Grave, scheduled for release on May 15, 2026.

"Torn Mentality" explores a fevered psychological state shaped by spiritual contradiction, ideological pressure, and emotional fracture. The song moves through cycles of fatalism, distrust, devotion, and resentment, reflecting a consciousness pulled between belief and rejection. Repeated invocations of paradise, treachery, blasphemy, and religion function as confrontational signals rather than absolutes, mirroring the instability of faith and identity in a world governed by imposed meaning. Industrial electronics, ritual atmospheres, and blackened intensity collide to create a tense and immersive composition that reflects the album’s broader narrative.

Active since 2019, ANTIMOZDEBEAST has developed a distinct sound built on harsh electronic structures, ritualistic pacing, and confrontational vocal expression. ANTIMOZDEBEAST is the extreme industrial and electronic black metal project of American composer and multi instrumentalist Gabriel Palacio, an artist whose life and work are shaped by equal parts suffering, persistence, and spiritual inquiry. Born in Queens, New York in 1985 with congenital heart disease, Gabriel underwent his first open heart surgery at age three and spent his childhood navigating both medical fragility and the intense religious expectations of a massive family rooted in Catholic tradition. His mother, once bound for a life as a nun, left the convent path to immigrate to the United States, where she raised Gabriel and his brother within a home steeped in devotion, ritual, and the tension between faith and individuality. By age fifteen Gabriel had already committed himself to music, turning to instruments not only as creative outlets but as anchors in a life marked by psychological struggle and the early onset of mental health challenges that continued into adulthood.

LORNA SHORE Adds 2026 North American Tour Dates, Kicking Off April 17 With Support From Paleface Swiss & Signs Of The Swarm; Plus, New Single & Video For “In Darkness” Released Today

After dominating 2025 with their explosive new album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me (named one of the best of the year by Kerrang, Metal Hammer and Loudwire), Lorna Shore is ready to do it all over again in 2026 with a massive global tour that kicks off January 23 in Germany and heads into the spring with newly announced dates just added for North America.

 

Lorna Shore will be joined by Paleface Swiss and Signs Of The Swarm for the North American run, which begins April 17 in Buffalo, NY and runs through May 22 in Montclair, NJ, alongside festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival. Says frontman Will Ramos of the song, “'In Darkness' is about growing up feeling distant from everyone, a song about anxiety and being an outcast (as many of us metal fans grow from). I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, out now via Century Media Records, is Lorna Shore’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s Pain Remains and continues the band’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.

Pennsylvania Indie rockers Robin Ross & The Melodynes share 'Echo of Love', a shimmering anthem of sonic intimacy

Pennsylvania outfit Robin Ross & The Melodynes welcome the new year with their new single 'Echo of Love', a rhythmic exercise in romantic resonance that captures the high-frequency hum of two souls colliding in perfect, melodic symmetry. A shimmering anthem of sonic intimacy, Ross frames true love as a permanent vibration—one that holds its ground long after the music stops.

This is the second offering from the band's sophomore 'Mind Space' album, forthcoming via RPM Entertainment, which was recorded at Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio on the Mountain in Milford, Pennsylvania. Ross produced and engineered this album, along with famed engineer Jonathan Duckett (Phillip Glass, Kenny G, David Sanborn).

"This is a song based on a very melodic rhythm that moves in sync with the echo of love. Love takes two to bounce feelings back and forth within your heart. Echoes from both hearts bounce until their rhythm collides and creates balance," says Robin Ross.
 
"Echoes far and near keep us together and will never be apart.  You feel it when we hug, you feel it when I look at you. Vibrations keep us strong. Even when you are not around, the echoes vibrate our ground. Like two doves above, so is the Echo of Love."

Robin Ross & The Melodynes is not just about music - it's about big fun between like-minded artists, including Wharton Tiers, JoJo Ellen Gaetani, Katlyn Albrecht, Nancy Isola, TW Howell, Emery Rhodes, Joe (Bass) Torres and Tony Anniello. With musical roots in New Jersey and New York dating back to 1988, Robin Ross has established himself in the bustling artistic community of Milford, PA, A musician, songwriter, and producer with diverse musical endeavours spanning over three decades, he has released numerous albums and played a pivotal role in creating several recording studios, including Triple R Studios and Sound Complex near NYC. Ross' current recording studio, Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio, continues to expand.

In 2025, Ross released 'Back To The Forest', the debut EP as Robin Ross & The TW Howlers, a songwriting project with storied folk-rock artist TW Howell, which received critical acclaim and airplay in dozens of countries. 

In the early 1990s, Robin co-founded Laughing Jack, later rebranded as Jack’s Maze, acclaimed for a progressive rock sound reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Alas, life and business took him in a different direction. In 2021, Robin embarked on building Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio and also regrouped with Jack's Maze members Frank Cinquegrana, Scott Cowan, and Joe Torres to create new progressive rock albums. The Forecast is predicting a new Jack's Maze album later in 2026.

Thunder's Legendary Album "LIVE" is Back + Available Digitally for the First Time

British rock legends THUNDER return with a definitive live statement as their iconic 1998 album LIVE is released today in a newly remastered edition. Available now digitally, this release captures the band at a pivotal moment in their career and restores the full force of their electrifying stage power with contemporary sonic clarity.

The physical release is set for April 17 in the US.

As part of the release, the band is also presenting the video for a fan-favorite "The Only One," offering a fresh visual companion that you can watch Below.

Originally recorded in 1997, LIVE documented THUNDER during a period of renewal and momentum. The album stands as a raw, unfiltered snapshot of a band firing on all cylinders—fueled by towering riffs, blues-infused grooves, and the unmistakable voice of Danny Bowes, alongside the masterful songwriting and guitar work of Luke Morley. The remastered edition breathes new life into these performances, amplifying the immediacy and intensity that made the original release such a fan favorite.

Formed in the late 1980s, THUNDER have long been one of the most enduring and respected names in British hard rock. Their ability to blend classic rock traditions with arena-sized hooks and soulful authenticity has earned them a fiercely loyal global following. LIVE perfectly encapsulates this identity — powerful yet heartfelt, polished yet spontaneous.

The recordings also mark the arrival of Chris Childs, who joined the band shortly before these shows and has remained a cornerstone of the lineup ever since. The performances crackle with energy and interaction, featuring extended solos, unrehearsed moments, and a palpable connection with the audience. This is not a staged live album — it's the sound of a band living in the moment.

Remastered in 2025 with great care and respect for the original recordings, this edition faithfully preserves the grit and drive of the performances while delivering enhanced depth and clarity. As Everything Unfolds are proud to announce the release date for their new album, DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE?, on April 10 via Century Media.

To mark the announcement, today also sees the release of a new single "GASOLINE." 

"'GASOLINE' is a story about that unquantifiable and confusing human bond you get with someone else," explains Charlie Rolfe. "That twin flame sensation, that mutual connection with an unknown person, almost like you were destined to be in each other's lives. During this song, it explores an explosive connection, the thought process, the denial in wanting it and the need to turn away from it, even though it feels wrong, you desperately try to keep hold of your life path, ignoring this fated sensation, how heartbreaking and soul-destroying it can be. This idea tied in so neatly with the concept of Count Dracula and Mina's relationship from Bram Stoker's Dracula, that otherworldly, toxic and destined love. Similar to 'Set In Flow,' we used the story to visually inspire the music video, to which shots from the video are homages to moments in the 1994 film."

DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE? is a deeply personal record shaped by grief, trauma, escapism and the slow, uncomfortable process of confronting reality. Written across a period of profound upheaval, the album documents a journey from emotional safety and creative flow into loss, numbness, and disorientation, before gradually finding movement again.

Framed around the idea of maladaptive daydreaming and fantasy as both refuge and trap, the songs explore addiction, self-sacrifice, burn-out, fractured relationships, and the question of whether freedom is something to be desired or feared. Drawing inspiration from cinema, literature, and subconscious writing, the record shifts sonically and lyrically as time passes, mirroring real change rather than resisting it. The result is an album that does not offer neat resolution, but instead captures the fragile, ongoing act of learning how to exist, grieve, and continue.
