DREGG Sign to Fearless Records + Share Video for "Dress Down"

FEARLESS RECORDS is thrilled to welcome DREGG, a a fiercely individualistic four-piece from Melbourne, Australia known for their high-energy fusion of metal, hardcore, and rap, delivered with theatrical flair and absurdist humor, to the label's worldwide roster.

DREGGs music, visuals, and over-the-top personas serve as a satirical lens on modern culture — part South Park, part Rage Against The Machine, with a splash of Eminem chaos. Blending shock value with deeper commentary, DREGG don't take sides politically but instead critique from the outside, encouraging fans to embrace their inner weirdos and challenge societal norms through unapologetic self-expression.

The band shares the video for "DRESS DOWN."

The song appears on the band's album The Art of Everything, which came out last fall.

Watch the video below.

The song is a taste of what's to come. It's the sound of shattering sonic boundaries, pushing past setbacks, and conquering every obstacle encountered. It's loud, aggressive and it's here to remind everyone that DREGG are carving their own path, regardless of who stands in their way.

So, get out of the way or get mowed down.

"We've always believed in the power of personal interpretation," the band states. "We want each listener to find their own meaning in our music. But if we're talking about what drove 'DRESS DOWN,' it was frustration, betrayal, and a relentless desire to reinvent ourselves. We were determined to break new ground sonically, something fresh that speaks to who we are as artists right now."

Regarding the accompanying video, the band offers, "It was directed by Melbourne-based director Joel Wilson and it took our vision to a whole new level. We spent four days filming and we couldn't be happier with the result. It's definitely our most cinematic endeavor to date."

DREGG are equally excited to partner with Fearless and join the labels formidable roster. "We're super psyched about joining Fearless and giving new life to The Art Of Everything. It's a dream come true to be alongside some of the biggest heavy hitters in the game and we can't wait to keep writing and releasing more music."

ELEINE Unveil Official Video for "Promise Of Apocalypse (Symphonic Version)" from Forthcoming We Stand United EP

Known for their rich fund of musical influences, Swedish metal band ELEINE take fans into epic yet stripped down soundscapes with the symphonic version of their track "Promise Of Apocalypse." Wavering around Madeleine Liljestam’s stunning vocal performance, it’s strings and brass instead of bass, guitars and drums for a change building the foundation of the second single from the group’s anticipated new 5-track EP We Stand United (September 5, 2025 via RPM).

This new version additionally magnifies the core message of "Promise Of Apocalypse," which focusses on hope and renewal, and is strong anchor for those who seem to be lost in challenging situations for both body and mind.

Madeleine (vocals) & Rikard (guitar/vocals) recall the driving idea behind the song: “"Promise Of Apocalypse" was embraced by many fans and it was obvious to us that it deserved a beautiful symphonic version. When going through difficult times, including depression or maybe a rough temporary path - it’s easy to feel that you lost track of life and time. The message behind this song rings true; If you’re not happy where you are in life, it’s time to make a change. It’s maybe not obvious what you have to do - but a change has to be made for yourself!”

UK singer-songwriter Nick Haeffner releases 'What Time Can Do' album via Dimple Discs

Dimple Discs is thrilled to announce the official release of the fourth album 'What Time Can Do' from UK singer-songwriter artist Nick Haeffner, now available on CD and limited-edition white-label vinyl. Offering a unique take on quintessential British folk-pop, this is Haeffner's most ambitious work to date.

Involving a considerable amount of creative input from Marcus Holdaway (High Llamas, Stereolab, Colourway), this album was recorded, produced and mixed by Nick Haeffner and remastered by iconic producer Paul Tipler (Stereolab, Elastica, Idlewild, Placebo, Julian Cope, House Of Love).

Four years in the making, 'What Time Can Do' marks a new stage in the evolution of Nick’s music, blending the folk, psychedelic, experimental and orchestral sounds of his earlier material with Latin, jazz and dub influences. The title track exemplifies this ambition, described as "Eleanor Rigby meets Sly and Robbie" with its strident cello parts over a dub backbeat. The song poignantly tells the story of a young immigrant navigating big dreams, demanding shift work, and the challenges of English weather.

Haeffner first gained prominence in the 1980s as the guitarist for post-punk band The Tea Set (supporting legendary acts like U2, The Stranglers, The Clash, Iggy Popand XTC) and has a storied career ever since. Following the band's breakup, he worked on numerous projects, often under assumed names, having signed with Phil Smee's Bam Caruso label.

"This album represents a big step forward for me. Elements of my previous albums are present, but there is a lighter, jazzier touch to some of the tracks, much of it due to the presence of some superb musicians I came into contact with during the making of the album. Marcus Holdaway (cello, vocals, keyboards), Chris Cummings (backing vocals and keyboards) and Yani Martinelli (backing vocals) are associates of Sean O’Hagan of The High Llamas, while Marcus and Chris also have associations with Stereolab. Their contributions, especially the backing vocals, are a real highlight, bringing a new level of musical sophistication to my sound," says Nick Haeffner.

"The album is very accessible and easy to listen to, but there’s a depth to the lyrics, an underlying darkness and an attention to detail in the production, which I think gives the album substance and the ability to outlast musical trends or fashions. It contains some of my best songs, performed to perfection by the musicians, produced with loving care and given a final polish by one of the best engineer-producers in independent music, Paul Tipler".

As of August 1, the 'What Time Can Do' album is officially out everywhere on CD, which can be ordered directly from the label via Bandcamp. The album release show happened that evening, upstairs at the Betsey Trotwood.

Maddox Batson's Newest Release "No More" and Music Video Out Now

Following a breakout year that included his Grand Ole Opry debut, a high-profile appearance at Stagecoach, profile by NBC Nightly News and the launch of his First Dance (The After Party) Deluxe EP, rising country artist Maddox Batson just released a powerful new track, “No More,” available now via Prosper Entertainment / Warner Records. Listen to the song here and watch the official music video below.

Written by Johnny Simpson, Josh Dorr and Batson, and produced by Johnny Simpson at BullRun Studios in Nashville, “No More” taps into heartbreak and healing with Batson’s signature mix of grit, vulnerability and raw emotional delivery.

“This song’s about finally walking away,” says the 15-year-old Alabama-raised, Nashville-born artist. “It’s about knowing your worth and learning when enough is enough. I think a lot of people, even my age, have felt that moment of courage where you decide, ‘you’re not breaking my heart again.’”

Fueled by a hook-heavy chorus and defiant lyrics, “No More” highlights Batson’s continued evolution as both a songwriter and performer.

Batson’s momentum continues with his headlining I Need A Truck Tour, launching September 7 in Richmond, Virginia, and hitting 29 cities across the U.S., along with select dates on Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind Tour this fall, including a stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 2.

NBC Nightly News hailed Batson as “A young star, new on the country charts already striking a chord and hitting all the right notes.” At the same time, Forbes declares him as a teen who “blends country and pop with heartfelt vocals.” Batson continues to build a loyal fan base thanks to his high-energy shows, honest storytelling and genre-blending sound that connects across generations.

“No More” is available now on all streaming platforms. Listen here.

About Maddox Batson:
Maddox Batson navigates the world with wisdom and wit far beyond his 15 years. After the Nashville-born, Alabama-based songwriter began gaining notoriety covering songs from Zach Bryan, Red Clay Strays and more, he started to write his own songs. Thanks to early singles like “Tears In The River” and “I Wanna Know,” Batson quickly showed that he wasn’t only a star at covering country hits, but an excellent writer of his own home-cooked cuts – a practice he saw first-hand as a co-writer on Lana Del Rey and Quavo’s smash hit collaboration, “Tough.”

With the arrival of his deluxe EP First Dance (The After Party), Batson was ready to show the world you’re never too young to be the face of music all while preparing for sold-out live shows across the country with his I Need A Truck Tour. Batson also recently made his debut appearance at Stagecoach Music Festival. Life is moving fast for the multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar & mandolin) and he’s trying his best to remain a kid while becoming next up in country-pop music. “It can be overwhelming, this life, but I’ve got a lot of good people surrounding me,” he explains. “I’m still just a kid, though, and I’m happy about that.”

SUPREME MYSTIC Releases Explosive First Single “Supreme Mystic” From Forthcoming Album Kala Rupa

Detroit heavy music force Supreme Mystic has released their first official single, “Supreme Mystic”, a thunderous and spiritually charged anthem that introduces the band’s forthcoming debut album Kala Rupa, due out October 3 via MahaVishnu Records in partnership with Third House Communications.

This self-titled track arrives with a compelling visualizer, setting the tone for what the band has coined Mo-Metal and DefRoc: a bold hybrid of heavy stoner rock, post-hardcore grit, spiritual mysticism, and raw Detroit power. “Supreme Mystic” is a rallying cry, a sonic invocation, and a mission statement all in one.

With punishing riffs, pulsating rhythms, soaring keyboard textures, and lyrics drawn from Vedic teachings, “Supreme Mystic” is both confrontational and transcendent. The track culminates in the ancient Sanskrit mantra Mrityur Mrityum Namo Mayaham, paying homage to the band’s deep connection to Eastern philosophy and the teachings of Krishna Consciousness.

The single marks a new chapter for Couls, stepping forward not just as a bassist, but as a full-fledged frontman, songwriter, and voice of purpose. The band’s lineup features Jeff Shankin (UNIVERSAL STOMP, EARTHMOVER) on drums, Alfredo Riojas on lead guitar, and Luis Ulloa on keyboards, completing a powerhouse unit known for dynamic live performances and philosophical depth.

About SUPREME MYSTIC:

SUPREME MYSTIC is a spiritually charged heavy rock band from Detroit, Michigan, fusing the grit of hardcore and metal with the depth of Vedic philosophy. Founded in 2023 by frontman and bassist Chino Noir (the evolved moniker of Mike Couls, known for his work with COLD AS LIFE, SWORN ENEMY, MERAUDER, and CRO-MAGS), the band draws from a lifetime of musical warfare and personal transformation. Their sound, described as Mo-Metal and DefRoc, merges elements of post-hardcore, stoner rock, grunge, doom, and groove metal with a message rooted in spiritual evolution, esoteric themes, and inner revolution.

Joined by drummer Jeff Shankin (UNIVERSAL STOMP, EARTHMOVER), guitarist Alfredo Riojas (a BERKLEE-trained shredder), and keyboardist Luis Ulloa (a young devotee of heavy music and mysticism), SUPREME MYSTIC creates music that is as punishing as it is purposeful. Their songs explore karma, mortality, illusion, and rebirth, often weaving in Sanskrit mantras and Eastern iconography with street-level truth and raw energy.

Equal parts intensity and intention, SUPREME MYSTIC is not just another heavy band. It is a movement of sound and spirit. Their debut full-length album Kala Rupa is set for release in Fall 2025.

Fox Lake Drop "Real Fast" Video

Born in the mile-high city of Denver, FOX LAKE bring an elevated and energetic sound to the heavy music scene. The band formed back in 2017 as friends jamming in their basement, looking to branch out from the standard metalcore sound by incorporating elements of their favorite genres — hardcore, hip-hop, and rock 'n' roll. FOX LAKE continue to level up by delivering a musical brass-knuckled punch to the face that lands on anyone in their proximity.

The band will unleash NEW WORLD HEAT on Friday, August 1 via MNRK HEAVY. Pre-order it here or here.

Fox Lake just dropped the "REAL FAST" video. Watch it below

"'Real Fast' is the last single before the album release because we wanted to keep people guessing," Fox Lake say. "There are songs on the album that might have more memorable hooks, bigger features, or a longer run time, but we collectively agreed that we wanted to put out something that would hit like an uppercut and keep people curious about what the rest of the record had to offer."

Furthermore, the band states, "From a songwriting perspective, this was a rare case where the song was written and conceptualized using the sample as the blueprint rather than adding a sample to an otherwise finished song. We wanted to write something 'real fast' so the listener would never know what hit them."

Uppercut incoming...

WE CAME AS ROMANS Drop Haunting New Single 'where did you go'

Michigan metalcore powerhouse We Came As Romans have released their haunting new single, "where did you go?," along with its accompanying official music video. The track, one of the final songs written for their forthcoming album' ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED' (due out August 22nd via Sharptone Records), marks a stark sonic departure for the band, embracing a darker, moodier atmosphere while exploring themes of identity, disconnection, and the ghosts of who we once were. Stream "where did you go?" HERE and watch the official video below. Speaking on the new track, We Came As Romans fontman Dave Stephens.

"Where did you go was one of the final songs we wrote for the album, and it came together in a way that just felt special. From the first few notes, we knew it had a completely different energy— way moodier than anything we'd done so far on the record. Where Did You Go? is about the haunting feeling of being left without answers. It's about losing a part of yourself. When we wrote it, we were reflecting on a version of ourselves we felt disconnected from—the parts of ourselves we used to believe in, the ones with better habits, more clarity, more hope. The production instantly brought me back to nights of driving around at night when I was younger and gave me this overwhelming feeling of nostalgia for a time when life felt a lot simpler. The nostalgia is real, but so is the growth that comes with asking yourself those hard questions,"

The track marks the fourth single from 'ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED,' following "bad luck," "no rest for the dreamer," and "culture wound." The album is a conceptual journey that loops seamlessly from its final moments back to its beginning and represents the band's most ambitious work to date, exploring cycles of death and rebirth through the lens of their 20-year career. 'ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED' arrives August 22nd via Sharptone Records, pre-orders are available now HERE.

We Came As Romans are currently one week into their massive Bad Luck World Tour, which kicked off July 22 in Toronto and runs through August 23 in their hometown of Detroit. The North American run features support from After The Burial, Currents, and Johnny Booth, with the band delivering explosive performances of new material alongside career-spanning favorites. Following the North American run, We Came As Romans will head to Europe and the UK this fall with Brand Of Sacrifice. The band also appeared at major festivals Welcome To Rockville, Vans Warped Tour Washington, Summerfest, Rock Fest and Inkcarceration and will also appear at Vans Warped Tour Orlando and When We Were Young. ABOUT WE CAME AS ROMANS

We Came As Romans continue to progress and evolve at lightspeed, maintaining a place at the forefront of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still—effortlessly moving between metal, alternative, metalcore, and rock.

The Michigan-born five-piece—Dave Stephens, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass, and David Puckett—first broke through with Tracing Back Roots (2013), which cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10 and hit #1 on both the Independent Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their self-titled 2015 album followed, debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern metalcore royalty.

Following the tragic loss of original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy with their 2022 album, Darkbloom, their highest-praised record to date. Kerrang! awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it "a carrier for a knot of emotion, and a tribute to their friend." It featured career-defining tracks like "Black Hole" (ft. Caleb Shomo), now over 102 million Spotify streams, and "Daggers" (ft. Zero 9:36), which surpassed 32 million streams. Media outlets including Loudwire and Consequence praised the album for its emotional range, sonic heft, and unapologetic vulnerability.

Now, with 'ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED,' the band enters their most ambitious chapter yet—scarred, sharpened, and more fearless than ever.

Sweet Savage Release "The Chosen One"

earMUSIC and Sweet Savage proudly present "The Chosen One," the brand-new single from the band's forthcoming new album BANG, out September 12

Listen to "The Chosen One" below

Gritty, relentless, and riff-driven, "The Chosen One" carries the unmistakable DNA of Sweet Savage, while pushing their sound into darker, more experimental territory. Recorded with guitarist and producer Simon McBride (former Sweet Savage member and now with Deep Purple), the track embodies the band's bold new direction.

"After a lot of discussion, we concluded that a new Sweet Savage record had to be different. We needed to break the mould and try something new and fresh," says vocalist/bassist Ray Haller.

Following the explosive comeback single "Bang," "The Chosen One" delivers another taste of an incredible record — the first Sweet Savage studio album in 14 years.

PRIMAL FEAR Present Music Video For Anthemic New Single "Tears Of Fire"

Domination is within the metal world’s reach as PRIMAL FEAR premiere the official music video for "Tears Of Fire." The track is once again taken from their forthcoming record, which was already hailed as “absolutely stunning” (My Global Mind) and “the strongest PRIMAL FEAR album in recent times” (Metal Planet Music).

After ascending with clear guitar leads, the song erupts for the first time before vocalist Ralf Scheepers calls out one of the struggle-packed verses in his unmistakable tone.

He explains the intention behind "Tears Of Fire": “Heroic thoughts and words to make it clear that no one has to go through anything alone, but that there are always a few people by your side to go through thick and thin with you.”

But the presence of lament is of short duration: The energising pre-chorus lifts up those in sorrow and paves the way to the track’s hymnic chorus, leaving all of us looking into the future determinedly. Simply put: "Tears Of Fire" is another proof of the group’s world-class when it comes to writing ear-splitting music with a sensitive yet overall positive message.

Continuing the band’s successful collaboration with rEvolver and film maker Patric Ullaeus, PRIMAL FEAR also have shot a music video for their striking new single. The result picks up the lyrics of "Tears Of Fire" and shows the band in a rather dark setting combined with a hopeful blaze which portrays the song’s essence in a stunning way.

Relentless and constantly pushing their limits, PRIMAL FEAR ensure that no two albums ever sound the same. After “Code Red” [2023] hit some of the highest chart positions of their career, expectations for the next release were higher than ever. Now joined by gifted guitarist Thalìa Bellazecca and former touring drummer André Hilgers, the quintet were more than up for the challenge. And as Domination makes clear, no obstacle is too great for PRIMAL FEAR’s powerhouse songwriting trio - Sinner, Scheepers, and guitarist Magnus Karlsson, who also rejoins the band’s live line-up after several years away.

From the hard-hitting opener "The Hunter" and first single "Far Away," to the uplifting mid-tempo anthem "Tears Of Fire" and the epic ballad "Eden" - featuring a surprise guest appearance by AD INFINITUM’s Melissa Bonny - Domination delivers on all fronts. Add in neck-breakers like "Scream" and "Crossfire," and the reflective, string-and-piano-driven closer "A Tune I Won’t Forget," and it’s clear: PRIMAL FEAR aren’t here to reclaim the crown - they’re here to prove they’ve never left the throne of heavy/power metal royalty.

Ragnar Sverrisson Signs Endorsement Deal with Czarcie Kopyto

Whether charging through deadly technical whirlwinds or blackened ice storms, Ragnar Sverrisson has quickly established himself as a leading drummer for extreme metal. The Reykjavík native burst onto the scene with the brutal Beneath and has performed live with symphonic stars Carach Angren. When he's not on tour with Abyssal, Sverrisson splits time between the tech-death band and Icelandic Music Award nominees Ophidian I and his blackened death metal duo Helfró.

"Sverrisson deserves all the credit in the world for putting his whole chest into this performance", Nine Circles wrote in praise of Helfró's latest album Tálgröf. "It is impossible to listen to the breakneck pace of the drums or the energetic riffing and not bang your head".

Today, Season of Mist is proud to announce that Sverrisson has signed an endorsement deal with Czarcie Kopyto. The Polish pedal company endorses many of the metal world's most respected drummers, including Season of Mist labelmates Frost (1349), Simen Sandnes (Temic) and Diego Morenzoni (Virvum).

"I'm so happy to enter into a partnership with Czarzie Kopyto", Sverrisson says. "The only thing that matches the ingenious design and impeccable craftsmanship of their drum pedals is the unbelievable level of customer care".

To celebrate his endorsement, Sverrisson recorded a new drum playthrough of "Jarteikn", the pummeling opener atop Tálgröf.  His relentless blasts and long mid-tempo strokes show off the strength and durability of Czarcie Kopyto's top-of-the-line supreme all black pedals.

Watch the drum playthrough for "Jarteikn" below.

Tálgröf is available now on Season of Mist.

"When playing in bands like Helfró and Ophidian I, which are technical and hyper-fast, reliable and well-designed gear can change everything", Sverrisson says. "It's so important to be able to fully trust your gear when you're lugging it around the world. Knowing that Czarcie Kopyto will quickly help solve any problem that might arise inspires me to hold myself to an equally high standard".

Ragnar Sverrisson is also endorsed by Zildjian and Vic Firth.

Formed amidst the haunting landscapes of Iceland, HELFRÓ is a formidable force in the world of blackened death metal. With their relentless aggression, atmospheric soundscapes, and compelling songwriting, they have carved their own path in the metal scene.

The journey of Helfró began when guitarist and songwriter Ragnar Sverrisson sought to bring his musical visions to life, Drawing inspiration from the bleakness of Icelandic winters, the mysticism of nature, and the chaos of the human experience. Helfró's self-titled debut album was released in 2020, marking the band's official entry into the world of extreme metal. With a relentless barrage of blast beats, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies, the album showcased their ability to seamlessly blend aggression and atmosphere.

Evolving with the advent of the sophomore album, Tálgröf, listeners can expect even more ferocity as Helfró dives deeper into death metal territory while not straying to far from the signature ice-cold climactic tremolo riffing notable of their previous work. Characterized by its ferocity, the new album also carries introspective and thought-provoking themes, reflecting the band members' willingness to explore the depths of the human experience. Helfró is destined to leave an impact on the realm of extreme music, captivating audiences with their unique brand of Icelandic metal.

ALICE COOPER "EVERYBODY IN LA HATED US, THOUGHT WE WOULDN'T LAST TWO WEEKS. NOW HERE WE ARE 60 YEARS LATER AND WE'RE STILL DOING IT."

In the new issue of Rock Candy Magazine Alice Cooper told editor Howard Johnson why now was the right time for the Alice Cooper band to work together again and why they split up in 1974 after seven groundbreaking studio albums:

"I've always known it couldn't have lasted between us back then. There were too many things in the way. Mike [Michael Bruce] went through a bad period, Dennis [Dunaway] had some physical problems, Neal [Smith] had some physical problems. Plus I was dealing with my cocaine and alcohol things and that set me back at least five years. At the end of the 'Muscle Of Love' album period, we were not on the same page lifestyle-wise. I don't think anyone really understood where the group should be going. We were dysfunctional.

"I think the way it has finally worked out is perfect. I never truly felt the band divorced. Rather we separated, and everyone went off down their own track. But what you have to remember is that we were in high school together, so we have real history... and when we finally got back together and started playing as a band, it felt just like coming home."

The new studio album they created, 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper', with the help of 'fifth band member' producer Bob Ezrin has come out this month and sounds like they picked up where they left off in 1974...

"I was aware that some people were going to be cynical about whether we could do it, but the band sounds exactly like it did back in 1974. I was pretty amazed by that."

Read the rest of the interview with Alice, plus ones with Michael, Dennis, Neal and Bob Ezrin, in Rock Candy Magazine issue 51, along with in-depth interviews with Glenn Hughes, Steve Hackett, Gregg Giuffria, Gil Moore of Triumph, Brian Vollmer of Helix, and many other fascinating articles including a look back to September/October 1982, and a reappraisal of Def Leppard's juggernaut 'Pyromania' album.

Australian Rock Sensation CASSIDY PARIS Unveils New Single "Stronger" Featuring Special Guest Pete Lesperance + Visualizer

Today, Australian rock sensation CASSIDY PARIS is thrilled to unveil her new single, “Stronger,” featuring a special guest appearance by Pete Lesperance of Harem Scarem, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. "Stronger" arrives accompanied by a visualizer, available to view below.

CASSIDY comments on the new single:

“This is a song about my experiences in life dealing with situations that can be difficult to get through. I thought it would be only fitting to record this as it's become an anthem to remind me that in life there will always be people who try and bring you down. I love performing this song on stage with my dad and Wicked Smile, even though some people thought I didn't belong here. A big thanks to all the people who got behind me on this and helped put my own stamp on this song - my dad, Paul Laine, Pete Lesperance, Pete Newdeck, Harry Hess & Frontiers Music.”

Watch the Visualizer for “Stronger"

As a teenager growing up in Australia, there’s likely very few others out there with ambitions of being a “rock star.” Especially considering rock music isn’t exactly regarded by the mainstream as the “coolest” thing in the 2020’s. However, 22 year old CASSIDY PARIS is an exception.

CASSIDY is determined to make rock music a ‘cool’ thing again and inspire a new generation of younger fans to not only listen to rock ‘n’ roll, but maybe even pick up a guitar, instead of a phone.

At the age of 11, CASSIDY met singer songwriter Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger, The Defiants), who developed a unique mentoring role. Paul took CASSIDY under his wing to help develop her as an artist and songwriter, collaborating with her in songwriting and producing her music.

From early on, CASSIDY has wanted to deliver a strong message through her music. In 2018 she released the song “Stand,” a heartfelt song about standing up for yourself as a young woman.

CASSIDY continues to deliver that message, promoting anti-bullying through performances at many schools around Melbourne, Australia and is an active campaigner for the worldwide ‘Metalheads Against Bullying’ organization. CASSIDY has also built up a strong connection with her growing worldwide fanbase that has already seen her perform in America, Japan and the UK with the band.

CASSIDY PARIS released her debut full length album titled ‘New Sensation’ in December 2023 to critical acclaim. “My debut album is 80s infused, mixed with a current vibe. Influenced by Rock Gods such as Debbie Harry, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett & Lita Ford, I'm keen to put my spin on things in a modern original way”, she declared.

CASSIDY PARIS recently embarked on a European Tour where she supported AOR legends Harem Scarem in April 2025. She also performed at festivals such as Frontiers Rock Festival Italy and Chti Rock France. CASSIDY is looking forward to performing at the Monsters Of Rock Cruise in 2026 and returning to the UK for a full headline tour.

CASSIDY is endorsed by Fender Guitars, Ernie Ball & Wornstar Clothing.

BAND LINE UP:

Cassidy Paris - vocals

Pete Lesperance - guitar solo

Stevie Janevski - guitar & bass

Paul Laine - keyboards & backing vocals

Pete Newdeck – drums

Blue Grape Music Welcomes Flatwounds to the Roster + Band Shares "case logic" Video

BLUE GRAPE MUSIC, home to Superheaven, Silly Goose, Gridiron, and a host of other bands that are turning heads in the rock scene, is thrilled to welcome FLATWOUNDS to its global roster.

This up and coming four-piece siphons influence and inspiration from the '90s grunge, '00s hard rock, and modern hardcore sound and scenes. Fans of Alice In Chains, System of a Down, and other classic artists of that era will be drawn to Flatwounds' thick and gloomy guitars, gritty energy, and penchant for melodic hooks that take up real estate in your brain for weeks at a time!

Flatwounds — Colin O'Hare, vocals; Matthew Degnan, guitar; David Granger, bass; and Wade Coonrad, drums — are based in Albany, New York. The band has steadily built a name for itself the grassroots way — by self-releasing a series of EPs and by playing as many shows to as many people as possible. They've released three EPs — Down (2023), Raw (2023), and Drain (2024) — and they've shared stages with Jigsaw Youth, Show Me the Body, Eyehategod, and Wargasm (UK). It's an impressive resume for such a young band at the start of its career. It's also is a clear indicator of where Flatwounds are headed and that's to the stratosphere.

Today, Flatwounds have shared the video for the new single "case logic." Watch it below.

The song may sound like it came from another era, but it's no throwback. It snaps and snarls with a modern current of energy.

"We feel this song sums up the 'sound' of Flatwounds quite well," shares O'Hare.  "It's about the flaws of humanity and the inherent misery of the human condition."

MIRANDA LAMBERT’S MUTTNATION-TRACTOR SUPPLY RELIEF FOR RESCUES FUND PROVIDES $350K+ FOR FLOOD RECOVERY

Country music icon Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund has made donations in excess of $300,000 to help more than 20 animal shelters and supporting organizations in Texas, New Mexico and New Jersey that were impacted by floods earlier this month.

“Texas is my home state and the tragedy that took so many lives – and forever changed so many others – left me without words to express my heartbreak. All I knew was that I wanted to help,” shared Lambert. “I’m grateful that our MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund could quickly jump into action. We started the Fund so we could immediately respond to the needs of animal shelters and rescues after a natural disaster, and it’s always incredible to see it in action during times like this. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to make that possible.”

Soon after the July 4 Texas tragedy, New Mexico and New Jersey were also hit with catastrophic floods that claimed additional lives and took a heavy toll on animal shelters. The MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund also provided support to those regions.

“At Tractor Supply, we were heartbroken by the recent floods and the devastating aftermath for these communities,” said Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Kimberley Gardiner at Tractor Supply Company. “These funds are more than financial support – they're a lifeline to animals and the people working tirelessly to care for them. We’re committed to helping these organizations continue their mission of care, rescue, and compassion when it’s needed most.”

In addition to supporting the affected animals through her MuttNation Foundation, Lambert is also spearheading a benefit concert alongside fellow Lone Star State native Parker McCollum to raise funds for her home state’s recovery. Set for Sunday, August 17 at Moody Center in Austin, the one-night-only event will see the pair joined by an all-star lineup of fellow Texans – including Cody Johnson, Kelly Clarkson, Lyle Lovett, Ronnie Dunn, special guest Matthew McConaughey and many more – with proceeds benefiting The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Community Foundation. Learn more at BandTogetherTexas.com.

The MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund was founded in 2023 to raise funds for disaster relief efforts. The Fund has raised over $1.6 million and has allocated over $1.1 million to help animals, shelters and supporting organizations after floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters. A list of shelters helped through this fund is available at MuttNation.com/work. Each year, Tractors Supply stores nationwide host an in-store donation-at-checkout drive to support the Fund.

The announcement came as a surprise during her appearance on SiriusXM's Highway Mornings with host Cody Alan, where he broke the news live on air.

Now gearing up for the release of her sophomore album Faded Polaroids on September 5, Gardner continues her breakout year by being selected as a “2025 Artist to Watch” by the The Recording Academy/GRAMMY and embarking on her Grand Ole Opry debut on August 6. Spanning 18 tracks, her forthcoming new album follows a series of recent collaborations this summer with Thomas Rhett, Warren Zeiders, and Dorothy, and showcases her evolution as both a writer and artist.

With heartfelt lyrics, powerhouse vocals, and a clear creative vision, Lanie Gardner’s spotlight as a SiriusXM “Highway Find” marks another major milestone in her fast-rising career.

With her debut self-penned album A Songwriter’s Diary, released in late 2024, Gardner delivered a deeply personal 10-track journey through her creative beginnings. Lanie’s rise includes being named a “2025 Artist to Watch” by the Recording Academy and Amazon Music, and CMT’s Next Women of Country: Class of 2025. Sainthood Reps Release New Single "Dizzy" + Announce Upcoming Album "Dull Bliss" via Smartpunk Records

Sainthood Reps announce their new album "Dull Bliss" coming out on September 26 via Smartpunk Records. Since the late 2000s, Sainthood Reps have been known for their unique and dreamy blend of grunge, post-hardcore, and shoegaze; their mastery in the genre is more evident than ever on their new single "Dizzy" below.

According to the band, each song on the new album is either about dullness, pure bliss, a juxtaposition of those two feelings, or how those feelings can be one in the same.

Pre-save the album here.

Speaking about the new single, Sainthood Reps vocalist and guitarist Cesco Montesanto shares, "This is the last song we wrote for the record, and it almost didn't make it. It started out much heavier, but then drifted into Gin Blossoms/Nada Surf territory. A lot of my lyrics revolve around anxiety in some way, and this song is no different. Specifically, it’s about the anxiety I get when I try to open my mouth to talk to anybody about anything whatsoever."

ABOUT SAINTHOOD REPS
Sainthood Reps have been known for their unique blend of grunge, post-hard, and shoegaze since the late 2000’s. After releasing Monoculture in 2011, Headswell in 2013, and a couple of singles here and there, the band spent several years pursuing other projects before eventually regrouping during COVID. Since 2022, the band has been in and out of the studio compiling new music that marks a definitive step forward without straying too far from their signature sound.

Sainthood Reps consists of Derrick Sherman, Cesco Montesanto, Bradley Cordaro, and Jani Zubkovs, with Chris Smith featuring in live performances.

Sowulo Chase the Dying Light on "Sōl ond Māni"

For the past 15 years, Faber Horbach has traced our connection with the sun through the music of Sowulo, but his upcoming concept album  journeys into darkness. Written while grieving the loss of both his father and stepfather, the new single from NIHT is a mythopoetic lament. Looking to Norse cosmology,  "Sōl ond Māni" explores the loss of both light and life by using a broken instrument to give death a voice.

Watch the video for "Sōl ond Māni" below.

NIHT comes out August 29 on Season of Mist.

Sowulo will make their grand return to Castlefest this Friday, August 1.

"Sōl ond Māni" takes inspiration from Scandinavian mythology. Carried along over a slow pounding of drums by carnyx, tagelharpa and other ancestral instruments, grieving vocals tell the story of the Sun and the Moon being chased by two mythological wolves until the time of Ragnarök. Moving from whispered incantation to feral howl, the song descends into a place where myth, memory and mourning coalesce.

"The wolves will catch the sun and moon when that fated time comes and their light will spill like blood until there will be no light left", Horbach says. "This will leave the world in fimbulwinter, when only darkness and conflict remains".

Last year, Horbach lost both his father and stepfather. Their absence echoes throughout "Sōl ond Māni" through the sawing strings of a broken Nyckelharpa. This fiddle-like instrument accidentally fell onto the ground following one of Sowulo's live performances. "Writing this song became a way to give the death of this instrument a voice", Horbach continues. "To let it sing through its brokenness and turn that into something meaningful".

The music video for “Sōl ond Māni” was filmed and directed by Vincent de Fallois. Color grading was done by Micky Huijsmans

Sowulo is the evocative musical work of Faber Horbach, blending the spiritual philosophy of ancient Northern Europe with the continuous cycles of the universe.

Through the use of a wide array of historical instruments, melancholic melodies, and philosophical lyrics in Anglo-Saxon, Sowulo crafts an immersive sonic landscape that invites listeners to embark on an inner journey.

Weaving together the sounds of instruments like the Carnyx, Nyckelharpa, Celtic Harp, Shaman drums, Blow horns, Irish Bouzouki, Taglharpa, Lyre, Viola and various traditional vocal techniques, Sowulo shapes its distinctive sound.

The name "Sowulo," meaning "Sun" in Proto-Germanic, reflects the essence of the music. As we circle the sun, we feel the cyclical nature of life: day and night, the four seasons, birth and death, and the eternal dance between decay and renewal.
