Produced once again by Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse, EVIL INVADERS' first full-length release since the 2022 offering Shattering Reflectionbrings together two clearly defined sides of EVIL INVADERS. The Thrash side of Weaponized Chaos delivers the kind of precision, speed and aggression the genre demands. The title track, "Weaponized Chaos," combines rapid-fire riffing with technically demanding guitar solos from Max Mayhem, while "Dreamstate" attacks from another angle, pairing Senne Jacobs' hard-hitting drums with dense guitar work and Joe Van Audenhove's shifting vocals as it examines the pressure, repetition and sensory overload of modern life. But Weaponized Chaos is not a record built around speed alone. EVIL INVADERS give equal weight to the melodic side of Heavy Metal, with strong hooks, dynamic arrangements and songs designed to stick after the riffs stop. "The Wait" slows the pace and opens up a more melodic and emotional side of the band, while "Forever By My Side" strips things back even further. Written as a tribute to former guitarist Sam Lemmens, who sadly passed away recently and who was part of the band from 2011 to 2015, the song replaces the band's usual attack with a slower, haunting arrangement and deeply personal lyrics. That contrast runs throughout the album. "Bloodstains" draws on horror imagery, "Drenched In Disdain" moves from Joeri Van De Schoot's atmospheric bass introduction into a heavy track about social isolation, and "Fear" returns to the album's broader themes of misinformation, anxiety, polarization, and hatred. The album begins with the instrumental "The Final Dawn," setting up the first full-speed assault, and closes with "Lucid Dreaming." The final track was written by Sam Lemmens in 2014, giving the album a direct connection to EVIL INVADERS' past.

Rather than simply recreating the sound of classic metal, EVIL INVADERS take the elements that made thrash and heavy metal so effective; speed, aggression, memorable riffs, melody, dynamics and larger-than-life songwriting, and put them together in their own way. The result is a record that can move from a full-throttle thrash attack to a melodic heavy metal hook without losing its identity!

IGNEA Release "Harmony Manufactured" (Feat. Hiraes) + Video — WATCH

Mere days away from the release, Monumental, Ukrainian modern metal architects IGNEA open another door to their upcoming studio album. ''Harmony Manufactured'' is fast and heavy and features guest vocals from Britta Görtz of melodic death metal band HIRAES who recently floored audiences as an interim front woman for Heaven Shall Burn. On IGNEA's new single, her vocals create intense harmonies with Helle Bohdanova's vocals to unfold another facet of Monumental.

IGNEA's new record is set around the concept of nostalgia and draws from architecture in its aesthetics. ''Harmony Manufactured'' draws its brutal sound from Bauhaus buildings. Monumental releases this coming Friday via Napalm Records.

Monumental is IGNEA's second full-length album that was written during the full-scale war in Ukraine. The recording process mostly took place in the winter of 2025-2026, during icy temperatures and long power outages in Kyiv.

DELAIN Enter a New Chapter With an Extraordinary Cast!

DELAIN announce an exciting new creative transformation with an extraordinary cast of musicians and vocalists joining its new setup. One that opens its musical world to different voices, personalities and musical perspectives. Joining this new chapter are well-known musicians such as Marko Hietala, Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie), Anneke van Giersbergen, and more. The full list can be reviewed below. 

These artists will contribute their own artistic identity, with several of them also joining DELAIN on stage. The first glimpse of this new era arrives today with the release of the first single ''We Are Fire',' featuring Fabienne Erni, Noa Gruman, and Paolo Ribaldini. At the same time, this marks the farewell of vocalist Diana Leah, who has decided to step away from DELAIN after many years with the band. While her departure naturally brings a sense of sadness, the band looks back with great gratitude on everything they have shared together.

At the heart of DELAIN is its founder, songwriter and keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. Alongside him, Ludovico Cioffi, Ronald Landa, and Sander Zoer form the core of the project.

Martijn Westerholt adds:
"'We Are Fire' is about the inner fire that keeps us moving forward, even when the path ahead is uncertain. It's about daring to cross boundaries, and refusing to give up on what we believe in. To me, it captures the spirit of what DELAIN is becoming. A place where different voices and personalities can come together, each bringing something unique, while sharing the same fire.''

Over the past months, DELAIN has been reflecting on its future and ultimately chose to embrace a new and exciting creative direction, bringing together a wide range of artists and musical perspectives. Rather than looking for a direct replacement for Diana, DELAIN have chosen to embrace collaboration on a much broader scale. DELAIN LIVE 2027:
DELAIN will take this new era on the road for the first time in February 2027, with shows in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. More international dates and countries will be announced soon. The tour will feature INFECTED RAIN as special guest and PERSEFONE as support. The tour will culminate on February 11 at 013 in Tilburg, one of the Netherlands' most renowned live music venues.

GAVIN ADCOCK GIFTS FANS THE 26TH TRACK FROM THE DAY I HANG IT UP: “MOST WANTED” OUT NOW

Georgia native Gavin Adcock is gifting fans with the 26th track off The Day I Hang It Up. “Most Wanted,” which was previously a physical-exclusive bonus track, is available now on streaming platforms. Listen BELOW. 
 
Written by Adcock, Jack Hummel, Ben Hayslip and David Lee Murphy, “Most Wanted” is a play on words, juxtaposing a man’s reputation as an outlaw with the allure of the woman who has captured his attention:
 
        It’s my face on the poster baby
        But just like a thief, you steal the show
        Some folks say I’m a real bad man
        But baby, you’re Most Wanted
 
The Day I Hang It Up spans 26 tracks, with Adcock featured as a co-writer on all but four songs. Produced by Jay Rodgers, the album also includes collaborations with Treaty Oak Revival, ERNEST, and his previously released fan favorite, “Cheap Thrills” with Hudson Westbrook. 
 
The album inspired the name of Adcock’s headlining The Day I Hang It Up Tour, which is currently underway. Adcock recently extended the run into 2027 with Blake Whiten supporting on 12 additional dates. Following performances in Australia in March, Adcock will embark on the second leg of The Day I Hang It Up Tour on April 1, kicking off at Gatton Park in Lexington, KY, followed by two nights at The Factory in St. Louis, MO and stops in eight additional cities, including Oklahoma City, OK, Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD. Tickets for the newly announced shows are on sale today at 10am local time at GavinAdcockMusic.com. 
 
The official music video for “Us Again” featuring Treaty Oak Revival premiered simultaneously with the album release. Directed by Jack Owens and produced by Sydney Hampton, the video builds a narrative around the push-and-pull of a toxic relationship, with the narrator assured that despite the relationship ending, “I know we’ll wind up us again.” Watch HERE. 
 
Offering a mix of heartbreak, love, and outlaw country influences, The Day I Hang It Up also adds a layer of depth to the country star’s repertoire. Songs including “Shoes” and “Rockstar Life” delve deeper into the cost of rising fame, while “Holes In The Boat” offers an honest look at trying to balance masculinity and vulnerability concerning mental health. The album left The Tennessean remarking Adcock as "a voice capable of withstanding an enduring career." 
 
The Day I Hang It Up is Adcock’s third album release in three years, and follows the success of his previous album, Own Worst Enemy, which arrived as the top new Country album on the Billboard Top 200 Country Chart AND the top streaming new album on the Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart week of release (Aug 15, 2025). Before that, his major-label debut album Actin’ Up Again became the highest streaming major-label Country debut from a solo male artist in 2024, with more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams the week of release, and was 2024’s top streaming major-label debut across the entire genre.

About Gavin Adcock:

Earlier CARNIFEX records captured Scott Ian Lewis attempting to endure and process pain while he was still living inside it. On the new album, he looks back from the other side, carrying those experiences without allowing them to define the whole of his life.

Musically, CARNIFEX approached the record with their original 2005 instincts and the tools of 2026. Guitars take the lead, orchestration deepens their impact and every song was built with its live translation in mind. The album brings together the physical directness of first-wave deathcore, the band’s death-metal and black-metal foundations, the symphonic atmosphere of their later work and the stronger lead-guitar identity of the current lineup.

With no fixed delivery date dictating the sessions, CARNIFEX had more time to write, dismantle and rebuild the material than on any previous album. The record was tracked in Tennessee across approximately five to six weeks with Zach Householder of Whitechapel and mixed by Jeff Dunne.

More Than Misery is CARNIFEX’s first full-length album for Sumerian Records and follows the previously released singles "Roses & Rotting Corpses" and album title track, "More Than Misery".

Formed in Fallbrook, California, in 2005 by vocalist Scott Ian Lewis and drummer Shawn Cameron, CARNIFEXemerged from the collision of death metal, black metal, metalcore and the physical energy of Southern California’s all-ages hardcore scene. To celebrate the release of Tungl, Eivør will present three special album release concerts this October. Eivør will be playing two consecutive nights at Nordic House in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, today 16th and tomorrow 17th October, before she returns to Harpa's Eldborg Hall in Reykjavík, Iceland, on 23rd October for a unique performance featuring special guest musicians in one of the Nordic region's most iconic concert halls. These intimate events will offer audiences a rare opportunity to experience Tungl performed in a special setting before Eivør embarks on her extensive international tour.

For over two decades, Faroese artist Eivør has been regarded as one of the most bewitching and fearless voices to have emerged from the Nordic music scene. Ranging across rock, pop noir, jazz and folk to electronica over the course of 11 solo albums, various collaborations, live albums and soundtrack work including The Last Kingdom, God of War and God of War Ragnarök, her musical path has revealed both a restless, explorative spirit and a singer deeply connected to her Faroese roots, earning her the Nordic Council Music Prizealong the way.

Rising Gulf Coast alternative outfit SLOW DEGRADE recently signed with Arson Theory, the artist-first music company founded by Cameron Almasi and Eddie Hermida (All Shall Perish, Suicide Silence), and celebrate the announcement today with their new single, ''Hold On,'' accompanied by an official music video directed by Dylan Cole.

'''Hold On' is about finding yourself in a relationship, whether it be familial, platonic, or romantic, that eats away at you mentally and or emotionally. There are some relationships where one person is putting forth so much of their energy only for the other to take advantage of it, leaving them unable to give anymore,'' explained the band, an industry concept that their partners at Arson Theory fully understand and support. ''It's easy to feel trapped in a situation like that, so you’re hoping that the other person finds their way out and realizes that what they’re doing isn't fair to you. That’s the premise of 'Hold On.' The song serves as a cathartic release for those who have ever been in toxic or traumatic relationships and have made it out on the other side.''

''Hold On'' marks the band’s latest evolution, fusing rhythmic guitar hooks, somber synthesizer textures, and crushing heavy passages with SLOW DEGRADE's established blend of shoegaze hardcore that cuts through to the bone. The accompanying video, directed by Dylan Cole, is sepia-drenched and dances delicately between the grunge visuals of the '90s and their 4K vision of reimagined rock.

The band continues, ''In the video there is an angel-like character that represents something or someone that you have a deep attachment to, but can no longer have that connection and you're confined watching from a distance. We chose to shoot in an empty, overgrown field to set the nostalgic, yet unobtainable setting. It was a no-brainer to shoot with Dylan Cole after he killed it on our video for our song ''lead me down.'' He's such an insanely talented director and made this video everything we envisioned.''

The drop expands SLOW DEGRADE's relationship with Arson Theory, joining a growing roster built around artist development, creative control and long-term career growth. No height is too steep for Stoned Jesus to climb. After 15 years of exploring everything from doom metal and psychedelia to grunge and art rock, the heavy progressive trailblazers are hitting the road in search of even more expansive creative peaks.

The Songs trilogy spans all sides of Stoned Jesus. The darker, more introspective Songs to Moon opens in the large shadows of its predecessor with “Under the Skin”, a loud and heavy slab of post-metal that plunges the album into darkness like the setting sun. The existential shroud that hung over Songs to Sun continues to weigh on Sydorenko. “Still I’m falling down / From high above”, he sings with cool remove amidst the catchy doomgaze that's expertly weaved into lead single “Velvet”.      

Mini-prog-opera “Jackal” features the band at their most theatrical. Smack in the middle of the tracklist (and falling precisely halfway through the entire trilogy), the melancholic “Syzygy” configures one melody from each Songs to… album into their first-ever instrumental track. Ando San Drops New Drumline-Induced Single "March For Me" And Music Video via Sumerian Records

LA born and bred, Ando San has spent his career to date carving out his own lane, fusing introspective hip-hop with intricate progressive metal guitar work. A rapper, producer and accomplished guitarist, his music draws on everything from jazzy boom-bap to instrumental math rock, resulting in a sound that's as technically ambitious as it is emotionally honest. 

Today, he releases his new single, ‘March For Me’, on Sumerian Records. The track follows his recent first release for the label, in the form of double A-side, ‘Hype Man’ / ‘Triggas’. 

“March For Me is a reclamation song for me,” he explains. “It's about me rising to where I need to be, and my destiny as an artist to grow and be truthfully and authentically myself. I was really inspired by Tyler, The Creator album ‘Chromakopia’; the whole album has this militant feel to it, and I wanted to embrace that feeling of power and authority.”

‘March For Me’ was also recently announced as part of the soundtrack for ESPN’s College Football coverage for the season.

Having just (last night) finished his first UK tour supporting Don Broco, Ando San will perform a debut London headliner tomorrow evening, before heading back to the US to hit the road with Periphery.

ABOUT ANDO SAN

Ando San is an LA-based “prog-hop” innovator: an inimitable 7-string guitarist, lyrically dexterous MC and self-producing phenomenon. A self-confessed “metal nerd” raised in a hip-hop-worshipping household, he taught himself guitar by 16 and made his first beats at 15, going on to earn online praise from the likes of Joe Satriani and Andy McKee. Merging black metal guitars with booming hip-hop sonics, he has since built a loyal following, taken big support slots with Don Broco and Periphery, and guested on PRESIDENT’s UK Top 5 debut album, all while playing incredibly complex riffs and spitting his lyrics at the same time.

Featuring two brand-new songs, "Rockaholic" and "Lookin' for Love," plus newly remixed and remastered versions of his Top 10 Canadian rock radio hits "No Tattoos" and "License to Love".
 
For rock fans who remember the '80s and early '90s, Andy Curran needs little introduction. 

Now, the founding member and lead vocalist of Coney Hatch is revisiting his solo legacy while adding two brand-new songs with the release of Rockaholic, a limited-edition collector's LP that connects Curran's past with where he is today. 

The first 100 copies purchased will receive a set of handwritten lyrics autographed from Andy’s personal archives

The Rockaholic EP is the first of three vinyl releases planned from Curran's archives on Vault Press. Two additional releases, Caramel and Leisureworld, are scheduled to follow in 2027. 
 
Recorded at Metalworks Studios in Toronto, Halo Studios in Hamilton and Noble Street Studios in Toronto, Rockaholic was mixed and co-produced by Juno Award-winning Vic Florencia and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Harry Hess at HBomb Mastering. 
 
Curran's history with Canadian rock runs deep. As a founding member and lead vocalist of Coney Hatch, he helped establish the band as one of the country's most respected hard rock acts. Coney Hatch shared stages with Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton, Ted Nugent and others, while the band's self-titled debut album went Gold in Canada and produced rock radio favourites including "Devils Deck" and "Monkey Bars." 
 
Curran subsequently launched a solo career, with his self-titled debut producing three Top 10 Canadian rock radio hits: "No Tattoos," "License to Love" and "Let Go." These songs became staples of Canadian rock radio and MuchMusic, while Curran embarked on an extensive touring schedule that included shows with Rush, Kim Mitchell, Glass Tiger and Rik Emmett. 
 
His accomplishments also include a Juno Award win for Most Promising Male Vocalist, as well as a nomination for Best Rock Album. On that occasion, Curran ultimately bowed out to his friends in Rush, who took home the award. 
 
Curran's musical résumé also includes co-founding Envy of None with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, further cementing his place in the history of Canadian rock. 
 
Now, Curran is bringing the music from his solo years back to the stage in 2027 along side April Wine. 
 
"This is the first time since 1992 that I'll be playing some of this material," Curran explains. "Songs we'll be performing are 'Nickels & Dimes,' 'Whiskey & the Devil,' 'License to Love,' 'No Tattoos' – plus the new song 'Rockaholic' and selected Coney Hatch favourites." 
 
Curran will be joined onstage by Sean Kelly, James Naro and Dave Ketchum. Kelly and Ketchum are also Curran's Coney Hatch bandmates, while Naro is the son of the late Phil Naro, best known for his work with TALAS. 
 
With Rockaholic, Curran isn't simply looking back. The release offers a snapshot of where he came from, where he is now and what remains to be discovered in his archives. 
 
As Curran states, "I wrote this song about my bandmate, Sean Kelly, but I think deep down everyone has a little 'Rockaholic' in them."

Rising Metal Force TORTURED DEMON Unleashes New Single “Apocalypse” + Official Video

Today, UK thrash upstarts TORTURED DEMON have unveiled their first release through BLKIIBLK with the new single “Apocalypse.” 

Already a force in the UK, guitarist/vocalist Jacob Parkinson, drummer Joe Parkinson, guitarist Rory Marsland-Smith and bassist Lewis Bridges have cut a bloody swath through the UK underground and are staking their claim with their first full-length through their new label in early 2027.

Furthermore, they are gearing up for a headlining tour across the UK and Ireland, supported by Unburier, later this month. The full list of dates and ticket information is below.

TORTURED DEMON are young, British, and already have more road miles than plenty of bands twice their age. With the members still around 22 or under, the Oldham band mix old-school thrash velocity with enough modern metal muscle to keep it from feeling like another denim-and-high-tops revival.

They’ve already played Bloodstock, UK headline runs, and dates alongside Power Trip, Municipal Waste, Death Angel, Evile, and Xentrix. Two independently released albums got them this far without waiting around for anyone’s permission. They’ve got the chops, the live experience and, more importantly, the hunger.
