ANKOR To Release New Album "I See Red" on 11/20

Opening up an inimitable world for heavy music, multi-cultural alternative metal quintet ANKOR — vocalist Jessie Williams (Bristol, UK), drummer Eleni Nota (Athens, Greece), guitarists David Romeu and Fito Martinez, and bassist Julio López (Catalonia, Spain) — proudly present their new album, I SEE RED, out November 20 via UNFD. Pre-order the album here.

To herald its release, they just unleashed a brand new single and music video entitled "ITACHI · blood moon."

Watch the video below.

"ITACHI · blood moon" hints at the scope of ANKOR's immersive vision. Ominous guitar brings dimension to a hypnotic rhythm. Meannwhile, haunting vocal transmissions echo over a pounding beat, giving way to a corrosively catchy chorus, "Drown me in poison, I'll stay where it hurts." It concludes with a chilling invitation, "Make me your nightmare, let me haunt your sleep." The accompanying visual projects this image on screen through striking vignettes and arresting storytelling.

Fall into ANKOR's dark embrace and see RED with them...

About their forthcoming album, Jessie Williams said, "I See Red is a journey through pain, power, sacrifice, betrayal, loss and obsession. Each song tells the story of someone who was shaped by the world around them and by the choices they made when everything they believed in began to fall apart. Some sought peace. Some sought power. Some sacrificed everything for the people they loved. Others let hatred consume what was left of them. But none of them were born monsters. The world made them. And sometimes, when pain becomes the only thing you know, becoming the monster is easier than becoming the victim. Six names. Six paths. One color. I See Red."

Adding another layer to the project, each song on I SEE RED evokes the lore of prominent villains in the Naruto manga and anime series.

The album will also include their 2026 single, "DANZO · lying ghost" featuring MAH of Japanese rock powerhouse SiM. Since releasing in March, the track continues to gain traction with over 498.4k Spotify streams while the music video has tallied 255.7k views. It also received plugs from Distorted Sound Magazine, That Eric Alper, and Louder who named it among "The 12 Best New Metal Songs You Need To Hear This Week," going on to rave "it's a vibrant showcase of how unique the band are." The latter praised, "Heavy guitars and modern metalcore production collide with the band’s fascination with Asian pop culture, while the song’s central character gives its aggression a clear narrative target."

In other news, ANKOR will be supporting Amaranthe on their forthcoming Nordic tour. Rolling through cities across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Latvia, the trek kicks off on October 15 before ending on November 7. Shortly after, ANKOR will venture to Europe for a co-headline tour alongside Self Deception and Lauren Babic. The run begins on November 27 in Cologne, Germany followed by performances across France, the UK, Austria, Denmark, and more. The tour concludes on December 19 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Hillhaven Share Video for Newest Single "Out of Spite, Out of Mind" — WATCH

HILLHAVEN — Chris Kelly on vocals; Zach Moiser on drums; and guitarist Jaime GoWell — have shared the video for newest single "Out of Spite, Out of Mind." Watch it below.

The track, is, essentially, hard rock built for radio, with a nostalgic, 2000s-born edge. "Out of Spite, Out of Mind" looks at the internal confrontation with the voice in your head that shows up when anxiety stalls your own ambition. It's a track about catching yourself mid-spiral and choosing to fight instead of freeze. Big hooks, bigger riffs, and a chorus made to be shouted back.

"On this week's episode of 'Chris' Inner Monologue,' this one really just comes from spending too many nights being annoyed at myself," explains Kelly. "All too frequently, I wind up having these internal battles where anxiety winds up stalling out all ambition, all progress, all productivity. Even as i'’s happening, it feels so stupid. Like 'why am I basically afraid of my computer right now?' I was having such a bitch of a time finding the topline that, eventually, the struggle for lyrics became the actual lyrics. Ultimately, it's become something of a mission statement to myself, and a big 'fuck you' to the parts of my brain that try to stifle me."

Previously, the band shared the video for the new single "Dead Doesn't Hurt," which premiered earlier over at SiriusXM Octane. Watch it here.

The band will also play a bunch of live shows later this month and has partnered with ADA for all upcoming releases.

HILLHAVEN LIVE:

10/20 — Minneapolis, MN — 7th St Entry
10/21 — Chicago, IL — Avondale Backline

Hillhaven emerged, seemingly out of nowhere, in April of 2024. Featuring some familiar faces and boasting radio-tailored blend of rock and metalcore, lasting attention was quickly gained from listeners and radio programmers alike. By May of 2024, Hillhaven was a regular feature on rock music's premiere radio station — Sirius XM Octane who, to-date, has put seven Hillhaven singles into rotation. Hillhaven's seemingly endless onslaught of rock and metalcore anthems persisted, until the band made its live debut at the annual Metalcore festival, Christmas Burns Red — sharing the bill with August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside, The Devil Wears Prada & More. The band would soon-after partner with Sound Talent Group and Grandview Music.  Now, freshly signed to ADA Music and with a new body of work on the way, Hillhaven are primed and ready to continue its rapid ascent in the world of hard rock. This is only the beginning.

KAITLIN BUTTS ENLISTS HONKY TONKS AROUND THE GLOBE TO REVEAL THE TRACK LISTING FOR HELLO, HONKY TONK

There’s no better place to reveal a record called Hello, Honky Tonk than a honky tonk. This week, Tulsa-born singer/songwriter Kaitlin Butts enlisted honky tonks around the globe to unveil the track listing for her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Hello, Honky Tonk, out October 30 via Republic Records. Pre-save Hello, Honky Tonk HERE.

Beginning Monday this week, a different honky tonk or legendary music venue unveiled a new song from the album each day, turning the track-listing announcement into an international bar crawl through the world Butts created for Hello, Honky Tonk. From Nashville and Tulsa to Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Sydney and London, the daily reveals have brought the album’s complete 14-song track listing into that neon light.

The venues participating in the weeklong reveal include some of the most iconic honky tonks and live music rooms in the country and abroad, including Billy Bob’s Texas, Cain’s Ballroom, the Grand Ole Opry, Luckenbach Texas, John T. Floore’s Country Store, Skinny Dennis and the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, as well as Sydney’s Jolene’s and London’s Duke’s of Highgate.

“Hello, Honky Tonk is really a world of its own,” says Butts. “There are all these characters and stories and little moments happening inside of it, so I thought it would be fun to let the places that inspired that world introduce the songs. Honky tonks are where these stories live, so who better to tell you what’s coming?”

After a week of daily reveals, the complete list of participating honky tonks and venues include: Billy Bob’s Texas, Fort Worth, TX, Cain’s Ballroom, Tulsa, OK, Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN, Luckenbach Texas, Luckenbach, TX, Showboat Saloon, Wisconsin Dells, WI, Jolene’s, Sydney, Australia, Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, Jackson, WY, Tower Theatre, Oklahoma City, OK, John T. Floore’s Country Store, Helotes, TX,  Skinny Dennis, Nashville, TN, Harry’s Northgate, College Station, TX, Duke’s of Highgate, London, England, Brewster Street, Corpus Christi, TX and The Newberry, Great Falls, MT.

The track listing reveal follows a string of new music from Hello, Honky Tonk, including “What More Could You Want,” which Country Central says, “two-steps towards something that feels built for props and blocking in a musical” along with tracks “I Wanna Be Bad” and “Never Really Mine.” The recently released “What More Could You Want” is a languid, Broadway-ready piano ballad and autobiographical sketch of a performer questioning how much more she has to give.

“That song feels exactly word for word what I feel like every day,” says Butts. “This tug and pull of loving this and craving this and loving to be on stage, loving every creative moment but also being stressed out wondering, ‘Do you like me? Do I need to be shinier? Do you want more?’”

Named one of Rolling Stone’s most anticipated albums for 2026, Hello, Honky Tonk is a love letter to the honky tonks and nightlife that have shaped Butts while becoming a huge part of her life on the road. Recorded in Nashville with producer Tofer Brown (Carter Faith, Willow Avalon, Little Big Town), the album brings to life a bar like no other, populated by a cast of characters listeners might recognize from the dance floor, behind the bar or from the corner booth.

Inspired in part by the vaudeville vignettes of Chicago and Disney World’s Country Bear Musical Jamboree, Butts envisioned Hello, Honky Tonk as a place where all of these characters could coexist.

“The thought behind the concept was how in Chicago, the character Roxie Hart is dreaming up what her show would look like and all the people in it,” says Butts. “I picture all of this happening at Skinny Dennis here in Nashville. These are all the different people in the room. There's the bar fight that's happening. There's the bad girl that just got off work. There's me being the entertainer. There are so many people that really love the nightlife. It’s a connector for people.”

The album continues the momentum of Butts’ critically acclaimed Roadrunner! in 2024, a bold reimagining inspired by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! that landed on numerous year-end best-of lists and featured her viral anthem “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead To Me),” which has amassed more than 157 million TikTok views and 67 million global streams.

Butts will celebrate the release of Hello, Honky Tonk with her Hello, Honky Tonk Live and In Person Tour, kicking off October 29 at Nashville’s Skinny Dennis before continuing with stops across Texas and Oklahoma in December. Her performance at Skinny Dennis sold out in four hours. Tickets for the remaining shows are available at kaitlinbutts.com.

LAINEY WILSON’S NEW SONG “KINDA LOVE IT”

Multi-platinum global superstar Lainey Wilson’s new song, “Kinda Love It,” is out today via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Listen HERE and watch the official music video BELOW.

Written by Wilson, John Mayer, Kid Harpoon and Jon Decious, the infectious, upbeat track explores new sonic territory for Wilson and captures the thrill of being swept up in an exciting, yet unpredictable romance.

The release adds to yet another landmark year for the 12x CMA-winner and reigning Entertainer of the Year, who will return to host the 60th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 18. This is Wilson’s third time hosting following her solo debut last year (the first solo female host since Reba McEntire in 1991) and her first appearance in 2024 with Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson is also nominated in three categories this year—Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year (“Somewhere Over Laredo”)—and recently received the CMA International Artist Achievement Award.

Additionally, Wilson will join Harry Styles for four shows at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium in May, while her single, “Phone, Keys, Wallet” (feat. John Mayer on guitar), is currently top 15 at country radio and continuing to climb.

Earlier this year, Wilson released two additional tracks ("Younger You" with Miley Cyrus and "Can't Sit Still"), joined Chris Stapleton for a run of stadium shows and was the subject of an in-depth Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin' Country Cool (watch HERE). Wilson also made her film acting debut in Universal's adaptation of Colleen Hoover's Reminders of Him, before appearing in season two of Netfllix's sitcom, Leanne.

The Grand Ole Opry member is a prolific, sought-after songwriter, who has scored nine #1 hits including “4x4xU” (3x Platinum), “Watermelon Moonshine” (3x Platinum) and “Heart Like A Truck” (4x Platinum), in addition to award-winning collaborations with Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”) and HARDY (“wait in the truck”). Moreover, Wilson has collaborated with artists such as Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and Post Malone, made her acting debut in Paramount’s hit television series, Yellowstone, and recently launched a new collaboration with MacKenzie-Childs, her fifth collection with Wrangler and her own boot (Golden West Boots) and jewelry lines (The Lainey Wilson Jewelry Collection).

Darkwave-shoegaze pioneers Lowsunday revisit ‘Call Silence’ with 2 distinct electronic music visionaries

Pittsburgh-based darkwave-shoegaze pioneers Lowsunday present 'Call Silence Remixed', a 2-track released via Projekt Records, involving two artists with deep histories in the dark-music world, each of them finding their own unique way to re-envision the same song. Taking the original 'Call Silence' in radically different directions, together, they create a striking conversation between post-punk, EBM, industrial, darkwave, drone and ethereal music.

The 'Silent Tribe Remix' by Psychotribe (aka Peter Guellard from DEATĦ B¥ LØVE) pushes the song into EBM and electronic territory, transforming its post-punk tension into something darker, more mechanical and hypnotic. The 'Call Silence' Remix by Sam Rosenthal (founder of Projekt Records and the creative force behind Black Tape For A Blue Girl), uses stark drones, spacious electronic layers and distant vocals to uncover a more vulnerable, emotional and atmospheric side.

Formed in 1994 as Low Sunday Ghost Machine, they emerged as a "retro-futurist" pioneer, blending darkwave and shoegaze long before the genres saw their modern revival. Their legacy was cemented with extended re-releases of their 1996 debut album 'Low Sunday Ghost Machine' and 1999 masterpiece 'Elesgiem' (for their 30th and 25th anniversaries). Having played an integral role in Lowsunday’s history over the years, Rosenthal served as an important catalyst in their return to music in 2025 after a nearly 25-year hiatus, now a duo made up of original member Shane Sahene (vocals, guitar, synth, bass, drums) and Bobby Spell (bass, guitar, drums).

Their recently-released 'Low Sunday Ghost Machine - Black EP' and preceding ‘White EP' (ranked second in Post-Punk.com's Best EPs of 2025) presents the band's first new material released since 1999. Both a reflection and a resurgence, these Lowsunday releases usher in a welcome return, marked by superb production and a renewed creative clarity, bridging three decades of distinct sonic legacy with balanced doses of escapism, dreamlike sounds, drones and feedback.

Lowsunday also present a stunning noir video for 'Call Silence - Silent Tribe Remix by Psychotribe', starring Shane Sahene and Sereny Welsby. Capturing tension between partners, perfectly set amidst brutalist backdrops like the University of Pittsburgh’s Posvar Hall, this video was filmed, produced and directed by Peter Guellard.  Enormous concrete surfaces, repeating geometric patterns, tunnels, corridors, and overwhelming architectural scale provided exactly the intended atmosphere.

"Peter Guellard is an incredibly driven and talented musician and producer. He takes this somewhere completely outside of anything we would've done and his video offers an entirely different experience. What began as a Hitchcock type drama, full of possible endings and unanswered questions, became something deeper—a beautifully constructed mystery. He has captured its coldness, its darkness, its depth, and its contrasts with awesome precision. The imagery has the power of a still ocean: seemingly calm on the surface, yet immense, mysterious, and full of worlds beneath it," says Shane Sahene.

"Sam Rosenthal’s remix captured a vulnerability we seldom show, bringing a completely different vision. The stark, droning layers and almost percussive reverbs create a palpable mood. He managed to uncover and amplify the emotional sentiment within the song, while making it feel entirely new. It’s been an honor to have our song reimagined by two people we have so much respect and appreciation for."

Bobby Spell adds, "Peter’s visual interpretation is as stark as that particular architecture and surroundings, visually creating a feeling of insignificance and loneliness. The feeling of isolation it creates is palpable and Sereny’s and Shane's characters compound that feeling with their apparent detachment. Peter had a clear vision of exactly what he wanted to do with it".

As of October 9, 'Call Silence Remixed' is out everywhere, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. Lowsunday's two limited edition vinyl EPs and their expanded anniversary reissue albums are also available via Projekt Records' store. Further, Lowsunday's 'She Follows Rain' was also recently released as part of Cherry Red Records' 4-CD boxset 'We Are The Beautiful'.

Lowsunday perform next at Pittsburgh's Brillobox on Friday, October 9. Presented by Play Alone Records, they join Choir Boy., along with Crash Davidian and DJ Krass Advert.

GRAVEYARD - Release Lyric Video For 'Back From The Grave', The Opening Track Of Their New Album "Fever" Which Is Out Now!

Rock titans GRAVEYARD have officially released their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Fever, out now worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records. Coinciding with the album’s arrival, the band has premiered an official lyric video for the album’s energetic opening track, ‘Back From The Grave’.

Right from the needle drop, the captivating groove of ‘Back From The Grave’ makes it unmistakably clear where the band is headed this time around: a triumphant return to GRAVEYARD’s heavy psych and heavy blues roots. Channeling the electrifying, vintage power of legendary albums like their much-loved classic Hisingen Blues, the track sets an explosive tone for the entire record—drenched in thick fuzz and fueled by a relentless rhythm section while still maintaining their soul-soaked grit.

The accompanying lyric video perfectly mirrors the hypnotic drive of ‘Back From The Grave’, pairing the track's infectious momentum with vintage visual styling that highlights the raw, bluesy swagger of the opening anthem.

Mixed by Pelle Gunnerfeldt—widely renowned for capturing the ferocious live energy of bands like The Hives, Refused, and Viagra Boys—and mastered by Robin Schmidt at 24-96 Mastering, Fever captures the unvarnished, high-voltage power of the Swedish quartet at full tilt.

Complemented by the record's bold visual identity created by Dutch artist Maarten Donders, Fever marks a celebrated return to form for the two-time Swedish chart-toppers. To mark today's release, GRAVEYARD will launch a co-headlining Scandinavian tour alongside BLUES PILLS, ahead of extensive European and UK tours throughout 2027.

As of today you can (and should!) stream Fever in full or puchase a physical copy via the link below.

FINGER ELEVEN RELEASE NEW MAXI-SINGLE "LAST NIGHT ON EARTH" — ARE THEY GETTING A NEW SINGER?

Multi-platinum hard rock institution and one of the best-selling Canadian bands of all time FINGER ELEVEN unveil a brand new maxi-single of their fan favorite single ''Last Night On Earth,'' out now via Better Noise Music. The release showcases the depth and dynamics of the song, offering a fascinating perspective on "Last Night On Earth" from multiple angles — and heralds the arrival of a fully-loaded Deluxe Version of their most recent album, Last Night On Earth, on November 6. Pre-order Last Night on Earth (Deluxe Edition) here.

Listen to "Last Night on Earth" maxi-single below.

In tandem with the release, the band launched a special global campaign to find the perfect guest to accompany them on the track. Fans may either add their own vocals or remix the instrumental and post their ensuing creations on social media with the #F11LastNightDuet. Watch what singer Scott Anderson has to say here.

Anderson says, "We have always loved the idea of turning 'Last Night on Earth' into a duet. Putting the #F11LastNightDuet idea out to the artist community and leaving the creative boundaries open is key. We hope artists will bring their own style and emotion — whether by adding lyrics, adjusting the arrangement, or working within the existing framework. I'm excited to hear the different interpretations. I have no idea what to expect, and that’s exactly what I love about it."

Watch the official video for the original version of the song here.

In other news, FINGER ELEVEN are set for an upcoming 12-city UK tour with SOiL. MENTAL CRUELTY Storms the Gates of Valhalla with Epic New Single “Ride of the Valkyries” + Cinematic Music Video by Grupa13

With ‘Echoes of a Forlorn Land’ drawing closer, MENTAL CRUELTY unleashes its grand finale with “Ride of the Valkyries,” accompanied by the cinematic intro “Dämmerbruch.”

Serving as the closing chapter of the upcoming record, the two tracks bring its world to a monumental conclusion. Sweeping orchestration and triumphant melodies collide with MENTAL CRUELTY’s extreme metal force, channeling the mythology of the Valkyries and the journey of fallen warriors to Valhalla.

The scale reaches another level with the accompanying video. Created together with renowned production company Grupa13 (Behemoth, Amon Amarth), MENTAL CRUELTY’s most ambitious visual production to date plays more like a short Viking film than a traditional music video, bringing both “Dämmerbruch” and “Ride of the Valkyries” to life on a truly cinematic scale.

Watch the Official Video for “Dämmerbruch” and “Ride Of The Valkyries” Below:

Vocalist Lukas Nicolai comments:

“‘Ride of the Valkyries’ is the grand finale ahead of the release of our new LP 'Echoes of a Forlorn Land.' It closes the album (alongside intro 'Dämmerbruch') with heroic atmosphere, bombastic orchestration and uplifting melodies to tell the tale of Norse mythology’s angelic deliverers of the dead.

Symphonic death metal’s epic riffing serves as the perfect soundtrack to fallen warriors’ journey to Valhalla, as well as the battlefield below, where the likes of Children of Bodom, Wintersun and Ensiferum clash with each other and influences like black metal and deathcore.

We matched that with the biggest, most expensive and over-the-top production we’ve ever done, both musically and visually. We teamed up with production company Grupa13(Behemoth, Amon Amarth) to create our own blockbuster, complete with a captivating intro and epic emotional ending. Throughout are stunning shots centered around a historically-accurate Norse village and re-enactors who focus on the time period to keep it true. This is basically our own little Viking movie!”

Produced, mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Kreator, Amon Amarth, Opeth), ‘Echoes of a Forlorn Land’ pushes MENTAL CRUELTY beyond the foundations laid on ‘Zwielicht,’ further expanding their uncompromising blend of extreme metal and dark atmosphere. Kottonmouth Kings Unveil Music Video for "California Burning", Announce Tour Dates

Southern California’s legendary rip-hop pioneers Kottonmouth Kings have unveiled the official music video for their single "California Burning", available now via Kottonmouth ReKordz and distributed worldwide through Virgin Music Group.

The Kottonmouth Kings are back, and they’re shaking things up with a new era of rip-hop that’s louder, harder, and more unapologetic than ever. D-Loc rolls deep with Judge D, Taxman, and Chucky Chuck, and it’s the youngest members who’ve stepped up to clean house restructuring the business and pushing the kingdom to new heights.

Hailing from the renegade streets of Southern California, the Kottonmouth Kings have been challenging the mainstream since the ‘90s, building a legacy of freedom, chaos, and cannabis-fueled anthems. Now, free from old contracts, the Kings are ready to take the energy worldwide. The team’s rebuilt with purpose, five of six original music producers are back in the fold: Mike Kumagi, D-Loc, Judge D, Steve Dang, and Jim Perkins crafting beats with big-name collaborations that’ll turn heads.

Country legend Kenny Rogers’ great nephew, Judge D, sings with The Kottonmouth Kings on the song “California Burning”. The song speaks to the state of emergency that California is in.

A deeply personal statement about the band’s home state, “California Burning”addresses the devastating wildfires that have impacted communities throughout California while delivering a message of awareness, resilience, and hope.

"This song is an outcry of hope meant to create awareness about today's issues facing the band's home state of California. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the wildfires," says D Loc.

The official music video brings the song’s message to life, pairing the Kings’ signature sound with powerful imagery inspired by the realities facing their home state. “California Burning” is featured on the band’s latest EP, also titled California Burning.

Following the release of the new video, Kottonmouth Kings will hit the road this fall, kicking off their tour October 22 in Seattle, Washington. The upcoming dates will give fans an opportunity to experience the legendary group live as they continue their next chapter while celebrating their latest music.

For nearly 30 years, Kottonmouth Kings have been the defiant heartbeat of underground rip-hop, blending hip-hop, punk, reggae, and cannabis culture into a movement that has outlasted industry trends and internal storms. Founded in 1996 by Dustin “D-Loc” Miller and fallen member Steven “Saint Dog” Thronsonin Placentia, California, KMK grew from backyard cyphers to a global force, challenging the mainstream with albums like Royal Highness and Rollin’ Stoned. Led by D-Loc’s vision and fueled by a creative crew including Judge D, Johnny Richter, Pakalika and others, the Kings weathered ownership disputes, catalogue sales, fallen members, and lineup shifts, always staying true to their ethos of peace, love, unity, and respect. KMK’s story spans nearly three decades of rebellion, resilience, and reinvention against a backdrop of cannabis culture and music industry shifts.

Today the youngest members have the throne and are seasoned for industry success. The legacy lives on with D-Loc, Judge D, Chucky Chuck, and the Taxman. With tours booked and a new EP, the anticipation is building. Come see them live at a show near you!

Swedish Symphonic Metallers ELEINE Release New Single "Ich Sehe Dich" + Official Music Video

Today, Swedish metal powerhouse ELEINE drops their new single and music video “Ich Sehe Dich,” taken from their highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘The Water Taste Of Blood,’ arriving December 4th via Algoth Records / Sound Pollution.

Where previous singles painted the picture of falling empires of lies, betrayal, and the damage left in their wake, “Ich Sehe Dich” brings the reckoning face-to-face as the most direct statement from the upcoming album. The song thrives on the striking contrast of beautifully melodic verses that steadily build tension until heavy, static, chuggy riffs shatter the calm and a three-word German chorus lands like a verdict: “Ich Sehe Dich.” I see you.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with the ELEINE Legion’s favorite “Mein Herz Brennt,” the track is stern, heavy, and unapologetic. It unmasks manipulation and toxic shame, written for the exact moment you stop letting someone’s lies shape you and the people around you. Unflinching and brutal, it cuts straight through deceit, unveiling an intense, powerful new dimension in ELEINE’s signature sound.

Watch the Music Video for "Ich Sehe Dich" Below:

What began in southern Sweden has grown into a loyal global community united by music, perseverance, and the refusal to give up. Led by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg, ELEINE have spent recent years building one of metal's most dedicated fan communities through acclaimed releases, including a #1 album on the Swedish sales charts, successful headline tours, and a direct connection with their audience that extends far beyond the stage.

Along the way, the band has shared stages with Arch Enemy, Kamelot, PAIN, Sonata Arctica and W.A.S.P., while steadily building a headline presence of their own. Their 2024 European headline tour sold out multiple dates and led directly to a second headline run in spring 2025.

Today, ELEINE connect with nearly 700,000 followers across their social and streaming platforms, while their music videos have surpassed 60 million views on YouTube. Now with ELEINE’s new album 'Water Taste of Blood' arriving December 4th, 2026, and their most extensive European and UK headline tour already underway, ELEINE are ready to be heard on the biggest stage of their career and continue to expand the world they have built together with the Legion, their fans, who have grown alongside them and who have become the heart of the band.

Trivium Announce New Album "Crown in the Grave" + Share Video for Title Track

GRAMMY-nominated heavyweights TRIVIUM — vocalist/guitarist MATTHEW K. HEAFY; guitarist COREY BEAULIEU; bassist PAOLO GREGOLETTO; anddrummer ALEX RÜDINGER — are thrilled to announce their new album CROWN IN THE GRAVE. It arrives November 20 through Roadrunner Records. Pre-order it here.

Trivium today share the title track, which builds from a gradual progression of layered riffs into an explosive wall of metal, pairing crushing heaviness with the precision, melody, and technical firepower that have defined the band for more than two decades. The song is vintage Trivium — galloping riffs, robust solos, and battering ram percussion, seamlessly sewn together with three-tiered vocals. But like the rest of the album, it stays true to the band's signature sound, all the while pushing it further into new sonic terrain.

The accompanying, Japanese Noh theater-inspired, post-apocalyptic music video brings the album's artwork and themes into a smoke-filled dojo, where the main characters prepare for an impending showdown through a series of tense, atmospheric sequences. Drawing on the band's longtime passion for classic Japanese theater and martial arts, the visual captures the discipline, drama, and focused physicality at the heart of the song's storytelling.

Watch the video, directed by Pavel Trebukhin, Below:

For the first time, the group crafted Crown In The Gave in their own creative hub and de facto clubhouse—The Hangar—in Orlando. Plus, they officially welcomed drummer Alex Rüdinger (Rüdi) in the studio. During 2015, the drummer nearly joined Trivium, but opted to focus on other endeavors. A decade later, he heeded the call. "It happened when it was meant to," Heafy declares. "Rüdi didn't just kill it on the drums; his contributions as a writer made a huge difference."

Reteaming with longtime producer Josh Wilbur [Korn, Lamb of God] and working with mixer Jacob Hansen [Volbeat, Amon Amarth] for the first time, the musicians rallied around a shared vision. "We took all of the  elements of Trivium, honed in on them, and focused on writing songs with big riffs and big hooks,” notes Beaulieu. "We made the record we'd been dying to make. The late great Shaun Glass [Soil] was a big Trivium fan. He'd always say, "You guys don't cook the same meal.' Even though we use the same ingredients, we always make a new dish."

"Any band who has been around this long starts to ask: Where do we go from here?" says Gregoletto. "We decided to challenge ourselves to top everything we've done. We referenced a lot of '90s albums. If you look at The Black Album by Metallica, Countdown To Extinction by Megadeth, or Superunknown by Soundgarden, the choruses are so important, and the songs are relatable. That's what we strived for."

Thematically, Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood served as a north star. Gregoletto brought the film to the group’s attention. "Kurosawa took Macbeth and set it in a feudal Japan," the bassist elaborates. "There's minimal dialogue, yet the storyline is powerful. There are these haunting elements of being tempted by fate and this man's downfall."

Trivium will hit the road on November 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida and run through December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina for a North American headline run with In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit for an Autopsy, and Frozen Soul in tow. It is a truly stacked lineup that cannot and should not be missed. Get tickets here.

"This fall's Trivium tour is a huge one for us," the band declared upon announcing the tour earlier this year. "The lineup is stacked from top to bottom, and we're honored to have special guests In Flames, who not only influenced our early years but continue to prove time and again why they're one of the greatest metal bands of all time. With Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul rounding out the bill, we can't wait to get out there, kick off this next era of Trivium with Rudi behind the kit, and give you a taste of the new music we've been working on. We'll see you soon!"

DARKEST HOUR ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO "WARRIOR" HEADLINING U.S. TOUR DECEMBER 2026

Washington, D.C. metalcore pioneers DARKEST HOUR release their new single and video, "Warrior," today. This is the second single from the band’s forthcoming album, Suffer Divine, out on October 30.

Guitarist Mike Schleibaum comments, “This song showcases our melodic death metal tendencies with a bit of a modern twist. It draws you deep into a fresh yet familiar DH sound. I love the progressiveness of Nico’s solo, the intricacy of Travis’ drum work, Deal’s devastating low end, John’s vocal delivery, and lyrical density. This album is full of both rage and technicality. It’s furious with focused intent, and this song is a perfect example of that in action.”

Vocalist John Henry adds, “Lyrically, this song is meant to reach out to the intrapersonal warrior. The internal struggle is often the most important battle we ever fight. This song touches on the idea of gaining control of your thoughts, actions, and purpose. It's meant to be fuel for action.”

Acclaimed filmmaker Thomas Mignone directed the accompanying video for “Warrior” for DOOM Inc.

Schleibaum says, "The video for ‘Warrior’ is heavily inspired by one of our favorite movies, Raging Bull AND one of our favorite music videos, ‘Mama Said Knock You Out.’ This video is both fun and tough at the same time.”

Pre-order/order Suffer Divine:
https://darkesthour.ffm.to/sufferdivine

The band has also announced a headlining U.S. tour with direct support from Judiciary. The dates kick off on December 1 in Austin, TX, right after the band wraps up their run with Fear Factory.

A bastard child born from the mid-'90s punk, metal, and hardcore movement, DARKEST HOUR emerged from Washington, D.C. with a sound that fused the passion, energy, and soul of punk and hardcore with the speed, vengeance, and fury of melodic speed, thrash, and death metal. Widely regarded as pioneers of modern metalcore, the band played a key role in defining the sound that would become known as the New Wave of American Metal.

Throughout their career, DARKEST HOUR has continually evolved without abandoning the intensity that has defined them from the beginning. Their blend of melodic death metal and metalcore has earned them a devoted following and critical acclaim.  In 2024, the band released its tenth full-length album, Perpetual Terminal.

As AllMusic has noted, "Modern metalcore pioneers Darkest Hour employ an uncompromising sonic attack rooted in melodic speed, thrash metal, and the righteous fury of punk and hardcore."

That relentless approach remains central to the band's identity. New Noise Magazine has praised DARKEST HOUR for maneuvering "with an unrivaled level of dedication" as they continue developing their distinctive melodic fusion of heavy metal and hardcore. The publication also noted that, while remaining true to their punk-rock mentality, the band continues to embrace new methods of expression with each album.

For vocalist John Henry, that longevity is rooted in something deeper than simply making music.

"This has been such a constant in my life that I can't live without," Henry told New Noise. "Any time we ever felt dragged down, something would happen where we would write a song, or we would do a tour, and it'd be, like, okay, we can't stop. This is what we know. This is what we love, and we love doing it too much."

With "Warrior," DARKEST HOUR continue that decades-long journey, delivering another chapter in a career built on intensity, perseverance, and an unwillingness to stand still.

DARKEST HOUR is:
John Henry – vocals
Mike Schleibaum – guitar
Nico Santora – guitar
Aaron Deal – bass
Travis Orbin – drums

BIG WRECK Celebrate 25 Years of "The Pleasure and the Greed" + Touring This Fall

The iconic and influential multi-platinum rock band Big Wreck have re-upped their essential second full-length album, The Pleasure And The Greed, with a special new 25th Anniversary Edition out November 6 on all DSPs.

Additionally, the band has unveiled the first-ever vinyl pressing of The Pleasure And The Greed. Celebrating 25 years since its initial arrival, the record was notably remixed and remastered by Ian Thornley and Eric Ratz, and boasts three brand new never-before-heard bonus versions, namely ''Mistake'' [Feat. Chad Kroeger], ''Breakthrough'' [Feat. Myles Kennedy], and ''Mistake (2026 Demo).''

Get The Pleasure And The Greed [25th Anniversary] here.

First up, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger delivers his unique vocal on ''Mistake.'' Over the years, he and his bandmates have regularly covered the song at shows, going as far as to include a rendition of it on their Live At Home concert DVD.

Meanwhile, Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge lends his inimitable pipes to a skyscraper-size version of ''Breakthrough,'' lifting the track up to new heights altogether. Finally, the band stripped down ''Mistake (Demo)'' down to the bare essentials, reimagining the track with sparse piano and highlighting Ian's soulful vocal. The 25th Anniversary Edition serves as the definitive vision of the album.

Big Wreck unveiled The Pleasure And The Greed back in June 2001. Among its 16 tracks, ''Ladylike'' has continued to resonate with listeners, generating millions of streams. It bowed in the Top 10 on the Top Canadian Albums Chart, and to this day, it remains a staple in the band's catalog.

"This album has long been a polarizing subject in and around the Big Wreck camp," says frontman and guitarist Ian Thornley.

"From my own perspective, I choose to remember the time just before recording it, when we were all bubbling with excitement—excitement for the possibilities and that ‘wait till they hear this!’ enthusiasm.

"When we were done recording, those feelings faded fast. I remember feeling a bit lost, like, 'This isn't what we wanted.' We went into another studio to try and capture some of 'what we wanted,' but perhaps we were just a bit too beat up by that point to get it.

"Having said all that, I've always believed in the music. I’ve always wondered what would happen if we got another crack at it. What if those songs got the treatment we thought they deserved?

"When the opportunity arose and we found out that the recordings still existed, I couldn't wait to hear what was actually there. To my surprise, the initial raw recordings were okay, without the weird balances and sizzle the album always had. Apparently, that happened in the mix.

"So, 25 years after the album was released, Eric Ratz and I went about painstakingly putting these recordings back together in a way that makes sense to us now. Many years of experience later, it was almost as if we were hearing this album for the first time.

"We got very excited. That excitement carried on through to the last track. And it reminds me of the excitement those four kids had right before they went into the studio to record their second album."

Next month, Big Wreck are on the road with Alter Bridge across North America. The tour kicks off on November 5 in Philadelphia, followed by shows in Buffalo, Cleveland, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Seattle, and more. Meanwhile, they will ignite two headline gigs on November 14 and 15 in Sioux City, IA and Omaha, NE. The tour concludes on December 5 at Silver Legacy Grande Exposition Hall in Reno, NV.

OBSCURA - Drops Brand New Video For "The Prolonging"

Metal masters OBSCURA have surprised fans today with a brand-new music video for 'The Prolonging', a standout track from their latest album, A Sonication.
The video was once more directed by Mirko Witzki (Arch Enemy, Powerwolf, Kreator).

The surprise release drops just days before the band heads across the Atlantic to kick off the next leg of their A Sonication World Tour in Mexico.

Steffen Kummerer comments: "The Prolonging became one of the shortest and fastest tracks we have delivered to date — and quickly turned into a fan favourite during the recent tours supporting our latest album, A Sonication. ABOUT ALCEST:

For principal songwriter and frontman Neige, ALCEST has always been a gateway to the otherworldly, a means of exploring his spirituality. An elemental two-piece, completed by long-serving drummer and creative confidante Winterhalter, ALCEST seem to dip their toes in a multitude of musical genres without ever quite fitting in. “In the metal scene ALCEST is a weird band, in the indie/post-rock scene ALCEST is a weird band- we never quite fit in,” Neige reflects. “This is how I feel in life, always an outsider; It’s not a problem, it’s just the way it is.”

ALCEST is:
Neige | vocals, guitars, bass, synths
Winterhalter | drums

From Ashes to New Announce Spring 2027 Headline Tour + Donate $1 For Every Ticket Sold to Musicians On Call

FROM ASHES TO NEW  will hit the road on their Spring 2027 “REFLECTIONS” Tour. The band will headline with support from Nevertel, Dark Divine, and Hollow Pact. The tour kicks off March 12 and runs through April 18. All dates and cities are posted below. From Ashes to New will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Musicians On Call, an organization which brings live and recorded music to patients, families, and caregivers in hospital and healthcare environments.

"The 'Reflections' tour lineup is absolutely killer and we couldn't be more excited to have Nevertel, Dark Divine, and Hollow Pact joining us," says singer Matt Brandyberry. "We wanted to bring you this headline tour in 2026, but never had the opportunity to put it together the way we hoped. Now we get to start 2027 off right. Reflections has been absolutely crushing and we already know this tour is going to be insane!"

About the Musicians On Call initiative, drummer Maty Madiro says, "We're excited to be able to take the healing power of music outside of the live environment we co-create with our fans while on the road, into places where it is needed, for people that need it the most. Musicians On Call is a phenomenal organization and it's an absolute honor to be able to support their work!"

In other FROM ASHES TO NEW news, the band recently unleashed an emotionally charged new single entitled "Love Me," out now via Better Noise Music. This hard-hitting yet hypnotic anthem sets the stage for the forthcoming Deluxe Edition of their acclaimed album REFLECTIONS, which arrives November 13.  Listen to "Love Me" here. Watch the official video here.  Pre-order/pre-save Reflections (Deluxe Edition) here.

"Love Me" sees FROM ASHES TO NEW seamlessly evolve, while clinging tightly to the punchy rhymes, walloping choruses, and inventive soundscape architecture that transformed the band from Pennsylvania independent favorites to a Gold-certified international phenomenon who've achieved their first No. 1 single with "DRAG ME" (from Reflections) earlier this year. "Love Me" follows the release of their new version of "Die For You," featuring quarreling alt-pop sister duo Neoni.

The band have been hard at work on the road: Following a great performance at Aftershock last week, the rest of 2026 sees the band  playing to packed venues in Australia, a quick Stopover at Shinedown's Lunatic Ball, and then ending the year with their annual SOLD OUT hometown holiday shows in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at Capital City Music Hall set for Friday, December 11. and Saturday, December 12. Zero 9:36 and Sage will serve as support.

In 2027, after the North American headline tour, the band will be performing for the first time in years at European Festivals: Slam Dunk Festival (UK), Rock The People (Czech Republic), Nova Rock (Austria), Jera on Air Festival (Netherlands), with many more being announced in the next weeks and months.

BADSQUATCH Releases New Single + Video “All My Friends Are Parasites”

Once again, in his newest single, BADSQUATCH gets gritty and he’s still not pulling any punches whatsoever.  The new track titled “All My Friends Are Parasites” is straight out of an old-school thrash catalogue complete with ripping guitars (featuring Cinthya Blackcat on lead) and a snarling attitude of somebody who is completely fed up with the people around them.  This will be the final single from his upcoming debut album, a fourteen-track mental health piece that he says is an account of his journey of learning what it is to be human.

As we grow into more knowledgeable, centered, and complete versions of ourselves, there’s a common experience that happens during stages of growth where one finally wakes up to realize that certain relationships are more one-sided than others. It’s a difficult moment to understand that people you may even love don’t reciprocate the same respect or value for the connection that you do, and when you are only pouring into others, yet they never pour back, it becomes a very draining relationship to be in.  Harder still, is learning to set new boundaries with these people as you move forward in your life on the journey to becoming the best version of yourself. Sometimes in that learning process, those boundaries can be vehemently and even harshly laid down.

BADSQUATCH’s journey to understand what it means to be human speaks on this with an explosion of exasperation in this new song. He talks of drowning in empathy, some unapologetic boundary-setting, and even straight up pointing the finger at you with a big “you suck”.  Following all of his gnashing of teeth, he does round out the song to include himself by changing the lyric to “we” all suck.  Maybe he’s reminding himself, or us, that we all can be an emotional vampire, and the journey that it is to be human involves a sense of self awareness, especially when one wants to grow.
