Japanese Melodic Power Metal Force HAGANE Sign With Napalm Records!

Napalm Records is thrilled to welcome Japanese melodic power metal force HAGANE to the family!

Hailing from Tokyo, HAGANE have been making waves since their formation in 2018 with their energetic blend of soaring melodies, powerful riffs, lightning-fast guitar work, and infectious songwriting. After captivating audiences in Japan, HAGANE made a strong impression on European soil this summer at Germany's renowned Rockharz Festival, proving that their high-energy performance and melodic metal have what it takes to connect with audiences far beyond their home country.

Now, HAGANE are ready to enter their next chapter with Napalm Records. The band has signed a worldwide physical deal, excluding Japan, with the Austrian rock and metal label for their upcoming studio album Through the Night. Set for physical release outside Japan on January 15, 2027, the album showcases HAGANE's unique take on melodic power metal, combining epic melodies, powerful vocals, technical musicianship, and an unmistakable Japanese spirit. Through the Night marks an exciting new chapter for the band and their growing international fan base.

HAGANE comment:
''We have signed a worldwide agreement—excluding Japan—with the Austrian label Napalm Records. This prestigious metal-specialized label is home to numerous world-renowned acts, including DragonForce (whose songs have been covered on YouTube by Sakura and JUNNA), Kamelot, Accept, Frozen Crown, and Alter Bridge. Through this partnership, the new album Through the Night will be released globally on both CD and vinyl. Please stay tuned for HAGANE's future activities on the global stage.''

Napalm Records Senior A&R Sebastian Münch about the signing:
''HAGANE absolutely impressed us at this year's Rockharz Festival. For fans of melodic power metal, this is definitely a band to watch! A big thank you to our Japanese partners at Euclid Agency and Eagletail Music for the great collaboration.''

TOUR NEWS: Daughtry Announce Second Leg Of 20 YEARS UNPLUGGED

Multi-GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum rock band Daughtry have announced the second leg of their 20 Years Unplugged tour, extending the intimate acoustic celebration into 2027 with 26 newly announced dates. The new run opens January 23 at Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff, AR and closes March 7 at the Tabernacle Presented By iTHINK Financial in Atlanta, GA.

To celebrate 20 Years Unplugged,a limited allotment of tickets will be available for $20 at each show, while supplies last. Artist presale, VIP packages, and the $20 ticket promotion begin Wednesday, September 30 at 10am local and run through Thursday, October 1 at 10pm local.

Local promoter, venue, radio, and other presales run Thursday, October 1 from 10am to 10pm local. Tickets go on general sale Friday, October 2 at 10am local HERE.

Before the newly announced dates begin, Daughtry will take the first leg of 20 Years Unplugged across the U.S. this fall. The 22-date run opens October 12 at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, NY and continues through November 14 at Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX, with support from Buffalo, NY singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Perdz across all shows. Tickets for the first leg are on sale now HERE.

20 Years Unplugged pulls arena-sized songs into a stripped-back setting where Chris’s unmistakable voice, the scrape of a guitar string, and the quiet before a chorus carry the weight. The format brings fans closer to the lyrics and stories threaded through two decades of Daughtry, connecting the catalogue that built the band with the heavier, more emotionally exposed music defining them today.

The second leg arrives during an active 20th-anniversary campaign for Daughtry. In July, the band released There and Back Again, an 11-track collection of newly rerecorded versions of catalogue cornerstones including “It’s Not Over,” “Home,” “Over You” and “What About Now.” At the same time, the SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM era has produced No. 1 singles “ARTIFICIAL,” “PIECES” and “THE BOTTOM,” keeping the anniversary rooted as firmly in the band’s creative present as in the songs that made them one of modern rock’s defining commercial forces.

ABOUT DAUGHTRY

Daughtry remain a force of nature in rock music and culture, standing as one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century. The history-making group have scored multiple platinum and gold certifications, notched two No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200, packed venues worldwide, and sold north of 11 million albums and 25 million singles. Their self-titled debut was the top-selling album of 2007 and became the fastest-selling rock debut album in SoundScan history, earning four GRAMMY® Award nominations and winning four American Music Awardsalongside seven Billboard Music Awards, including Album of the Year.

Across subsequent albums Leave This Town, Break The Spell, Baptized, Cage To Rattle, and Dearly Beloved, Daughtry have continued to build a catalogue rooted in anthemic songwriting, emotional honesty, and Chris Daughtry’s unmistakable vocal power. Recent singles “World On Fire,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” and “Changes Are Coming” all cracked the Top 10 at Billboard Rock Airplay, while the band’s 2023 cover of Journey’s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” featuring Lzzy Hale of Halestorm became another major moment in their ongoing evolution.

In 2024, Daughtry launched a heavier new era with SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM, which earned the band 3 Number 1 singles “ARTIFICIAL,” “PIECES,” and “THE BOTTOM,” while There and Back Again and 20 Years Unplugged revisit the songs that built the band through fresh recordings and a closer, more exposed live setting.

ABOUT RYAN PERDZ

Ryan Perdz is a 25-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Buffalo, NY. Raised on his grandparents’ family farm, he began teaching himself guitar at age ten and later expanded into bass, violin, and mandolin, developing a hands-on approach to songwriting and arrangement. Influenced by Nirvana, Chris Cornell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Led Zeppelin, Perdz channels the emotional weight of 90s rock through a modern lens, balancing grit with melody. After independently releasing multiple singles and his First Sight EP, he signed with Big Machine Rock in 2025 and released his debut full-length album Can’t Cry, on August 14, 2026.

BRYMIR Cover Scooter's "How Much Is The Fish" + Video!

In the midst of their darkest album to date, Finnish melodic death metallers BRYMIR show their fun side with an unexpected cover. Reworking Scooter's Eurodance classic ''How Much Is The Fish,'' the quartet delivers an additional nod to their stance against ocean pollution, ''Herald of Aegir," from the previous album, Voices In The Sky (2022). Live performances of the song regularly see salmon plushies in the audience, just like live pre-tastes of ''How Much Is The Fish'' over the festival summer have called fans into their very own ''fish pit." BRYMIR certainly know how to hype up their album!

What We Leave Behind releases this Friday, October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records. The band is currently playing release shows in their native Finland and will tour Europe in February and March 2027 — find all dates below.

BRYMIR about "How Much Is The Fish":
''As the album on the whole is definitely the darkest we've done so far, musically and thematically, we wanted to close the album with a bonus song of something defiantly upbeat and silly… And as children of the ever-hopeful golden age of the Eurobeat, we found the perfect song in this classic. When life gives you lemons, transform the juice and keep asking the important questions—like 'How Much is the Fish'? If anybody finds the answer, please contact us immediately.''

Watch the Official Music Video for "HOW MUCH IS THE FISH" BELOW:

Helsinki-based BRYMIR make a strong case for melodic death metal with What We Leave Behind, coming October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records! In a darkening world full of existential dread, the Finnish band — singer Viktor Storm Gullichsen, guitarist Joona Björkroth, bassist Jarkko Niemi, and drummer Patrik Fält — takes a stand with their most sinister album yet. Again heavily influenced by their singer’s main job as a movie sound designer, BRYMIR create vast cinematic soundscapes around their sometimes bleak, sometimes hopeful, but always honest messages.

Strongly tied to current societal developments, BRYMIR deliver an equally raw and fantastical album. Their darkest output yet, the band’s fifth album hits especially hard—and leaves absolutely no open questions behind. As introspective as it is outspoken, What We Leave Behind is an epic plea for humanity.

BRYMIR about What We Leave Behind:
"Since our previous album, the world certainly hasn't gotten any lighter—and as art reflects life, our fifth album, What We Leave Behind, is the darkest creation we've made so far. Both musically as well as thematically… 'What We Leave Behind?' is the core question explored from many perspectives: from personal hopes, dreams, and fears to societal developments to dark sci-fi and existential despair. Join us on this dark emotional journey, at times violent, at times beautiful, and always honest in baring the soul of what is BRYMIR — no compromise, everything raw and real."

UK Alt-Metal Trio TROPIC GOLD Release New Single "sodium" + Official Music Video

Today, South East England trio TROPIC GOLD have released their brand new single, “sodium,” their second for new label partner, BLKIIBLK, following the release of “WITCH HOUSE” (feat. Harpy) in June.

The band shares:

“‘sodium’ is a story of two things being drawn together despite the destruction— two people, or one and something they can’t let go of. The element of sodium itself is in tears and sweat, what you can taste and feel in exhausting and painful situations. 'Will you take that freak in me?' is the vulnerability at the center of it — asking whether the unfiltered parts of you can be accepted. ‘sodium’ is knowing you’re falling, but craving the feeling enough to give in anyway.”

Watch the Official Music Video for "sodium" Below:

TROPIC GOLD pulls from metalcore, industrial noise, electronic production, and modern alternative culture without ever sitting comfortably in one lane. Self-produced and creatively self-driven, the South East trio have built early momentum through a mix of huge hooks, abrasive electronics, and the kind of volatility that makes their songs feel like they could completely fall apart at any second.

Support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, and Rock Sound has helped push the band well beyond underground buzz, while tours alongside WARGASM, Resolve, Windwaker, and Normandie have quickly established them as a genuinely impressive live band rather than just another internet-heavy project.

The material following last year’s ‘SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING’ EP feels sharper, heavier, and more immediate, leaning harder into contrast without losing the hooks underneath it all.

With appearances at Download Festival and a stage headline slot at 2000trees Festivalthis summer, TROPIC GOLD are starting to feel less like a promising new act and more like a band properly breaking through.

KAITLIN BUTTS TAKES HELLO, HONKY TONK LIVE AND IN PERSON WITH SPECIAL TOUR DATES TO CELEBRATE ITS RELEASE

With her fourth studio album Hello, Honky Tonk set to arrive October 30 via Republic Records, Tulsa-born singer/songwriter Kaitlin Butts is taking the album’s colorful cast of characters, theatrical spectacle and late-night energy on the road to celebrate its release with the Hello, Honky Tonk Live and In Person Tour.

The six-date run kicks off October 29 at Nashville’s Skinny Dennis, the day before the release of Hello, Honky Tonk, before making stops at Honky Tonks across Texas and Oklahoma in December with support from singer/songwriter Meels. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. CT at kaitlinbutts.com.

“I’ve spent so much time imagining this honky tonk and all the people who inhabit it, so getting to actually bring it to life in the rooms that inspired it feels really special,” says Butts. “I can’t wait to play these songs live and celebrate this record together.”

Hello, Honky Tonk Live and In Person Tour Dates
Oct. 29 — Nashville, TN — Skinny Dennis
Dec. 10 — College Station, TX — Harry’s Northgate
Dec. 11 — Helotes, TX — Floore's Country Store
Dec. 12 — Corpus Christi, TX — Brewster Street Ice House
Dec. 17 — Oklahoma City, OK — Tower Theatre
Dec. 18 — Fort Worth, TX — Billy Bob’s Texas

Named one of Rolling Stone’s most anticipated albums for 2026, Hello, Honky Tonk is a love letter to the honky tonks and nightlife that have shaped Butts while becoming a huge part of her life on the road. Recorded in Nashville with producer Tofer Brown (Carter Faith, Willow Avalon, Little Big Town), the album brings to life a bar like no other, populated by a cast of characters listeners might recognize from the dance floor, behind the bar or from the corner booth.

Inspired in part by the vaudeville vignettes of Chicago and Disney World’s Country Bear Musical Jamboree, Butts envisioned Hello, Honky Tonk as a place where all of these characters could coexist.

“The thought behind the concept was how in Chicago, the character Roxie Hart is dreaming up what her show would look like and all the people in it,” says Butts. “I picture all of this happening at Skinny Dennis here in Nashville. These are all the different people in the room. There's the bar fight that's happening. There's the bad girl that just got off work. There's me being the entertainer. There are so many people that really love the nightlife. It’s a connector for people.”

The upcoming tour follows a string of new music from Hello, Honky Tonk, including the recent releases “What More Could You Want,” “I Wanna Be Bad” and “Never Really Mine.” “What More Could You Want,” a Broadway-ready piano ballad and autobiographical sketch of a performer questioning how much more she has to give, offers an intimate glimpse behind the curtain of the album’s larger-than-life world.

“That song feels exactly word for word what I feel like every day,” says Butts. “This tug and pull of loving this and craving this and loving to be on stage, loving every creative moment but also being stressed out wondering, ‘Do you like me? Do I need to be shinier? Do you want more?’”

The album continues the momentum of Butts’ critically acclaimed Roadrunner! in 2024, a bold reimagining inspired by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! that landed on numerous year-end best-of lists and featured her viral anthem “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead To Me),” which has amassed more than 157 million TikTok views and 67 million global streams.

ABOUT COLDRAIN:

The title OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is itself a warning: a caution against a world in which the rise of AI has come to symbolize humanity’s growing confusion over what it means to be human. More than a framework of “against AI” or “against technology,” this album calls for the liberation of the soul in response to a world that is steadily being bleached of color, and to the brutality of people who, having stopped thinking for themselves, continue to hurt one another. That is the reason coldrain continues to fight. And OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is the album where that essence appears more youthful, pure, and unfiltered than ever before - a human fuse burning toward ignition.

Coldrain, the quintet that is about to release their 8th album, first emerged in Japan in 2007, proudly identifying themselves as a “loud rock” band. Their songwriting, heavily influenced by the nu-metal and emo/screamo movements of the 2000s, resonated directly with the youth culture of America at the time. Yet in the Japanese rock scene of that era, “loud music” was still largely associated with melodic punk and pop-punk. As a result of that advance, coldrain absorbed musical elements far beyond nu-metal and screamo alone. While maintaining melodies that carried a distinctly Japanese sense of emotion, they transformed into a chimera capable of crossing through every subgenre of rock. Their ability to be both heavy and endlessly pop became their greatest weapon.

Now, especially since joining forces with Century Media Records, the very fact that their music cannot be defined by a single attribute - and the very “in-between” quality of their style - has become a musical identity unconstrained by borders or genres, radiating an originality that stands among the strongest in the world.

coldrain are a band whose lives were changed by music that could never have been born in Japan, and yet they themselves are a hybrid that could only have emerged from the Galápagos-like environment of Japan. That is coldrain. Rather than needing to acquire a new place, coldrain were able to turn simply “being themselves” into music in its most unfiltered form. As a result, OPTIMIZE = OPTDEMISE is pierced throughout by a youthful rawness that feels almost impossible for a band nearing twenty years since its formation.

In 2022, the technical death metal icons picked up where they left off and unleashed the harrowing four-song Nightmare Frontier. The EP includes an original track, a newly re-recorded version of the 2006 demo “Blacken the Sky”, and two epic cover songs that showcase the band’s musical versatility and limitless talent.

As the completion of their fifth full-length draws near, in October 2026, Abysmal Dawn are embarking on their first tour of Mexico. During this 8-date run with Obscura, Thulcandra and Orion Rise, the band will perform their latest single, “Cradle of Affliction”, live in all its accursed glory.

Swedish Hard Rock Heavyweights HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Officially Sign to Frontiers Music Srl Share New Single "Halo"

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce the signing of Swedish hard rock heavyweights HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of Scandinavia’s most enduring and explosive rock bands.

The partnership kicks off with the release of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR’s brand-new single, “Halo,” just days before the band launches the Scandinavian leg of its “Dirty Halo Tour” on October 2nd.

The band comments:

“We’re really excited to start this new chapter with Frontiers. After all these years, we’re still just as hungry to make great records, play loud, and push HARDCORE SUPERSTAR forward. We feel Frontiers understands where we come from, but more importantly, where we want to go next. There’s a lot of new music coming, and we can’t wait to get it out there.”

Aldo Lonobile, VP of Global A&R, Frontiers Label Group, states:

“Being a fan of the band for many years, I am particularly excited to welcome HARDCORE SUPERSTAR to Frontiers! They have built an incredible legacy, but I truly believe they still have a lot to say and many more chapters to write. We’re excited to be the right partner for their next steps and to support their vision as they enter this new chapter.”

Raw, loud, and unapologetic, “Halo” captures HARDCORE SUPERSTAR at their most direct. Built on heavy riffs, attitude and a chorus made for the live stage, the song revels in the turmoil between chaos and redemption, where bitter truths, wine-soaked spite and fake prayers collide.

The band described the new single by saying:

“'Halo' is an anthem for people faking their prayers in the hope of securing a little grace under their Dirty Halo. It’s about that distorted line that lies somewhere between praying for redemption and embracing the chaos - the sins, mistakes, and bad decisions you can’t take back.”

Watch the Official Music Video for "Halo" Below:

The new single arrives as HARDCORE SUPERSTAR prepares to return to the road for the “Dirty Halo Tour,” a 20-date run through Sweden and Finland beginning October 2nd in Malmö. The tour will continue into Europe and the rest of the world during 2027.

“We are excited to be back on the road for this long-awaited tour. We love the chaos, the crowds, the late nights and the connection with the fans. This tour is going to be something special,” said HARDCORE SUPERSTAR.

Alongside preparations for the tour, the band is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their acclaimed album ‘Abrakadabra.’ The upcoming release will also be the first to feature new drummer Efraim Larsson (Gathering Of Kings, Masterplan).

New Heavy Music From floya — LISTEN + WATCH

More than a year has passed since FLOYA last offered a glimpse into their world. Now, the German modern rock duo finally breaks the silence with "Juneau,"  via Arising Empire.

Rather than explaining where they have been, FLOYA let the music speak for itself. "Juneau" feels immediately recognizable, carrying the soaring melodies, atmospheric electronics and emotional immediacy that have defined the duo from the beginning. Yet there is something different beneath the surface. The sound feels heavier, deeper, and more grounded, revealing a new sense of gravity without sacrificing the infectious hooks at the heart of FLOYA's identity.

Built around an enormous chorus and an irresistible modern rock pulse, "Juneau" balances euphoria with vulnerability. Phil Bayer's expressive vocals move from intimacy to soaring release while Marv Wilder's guitars and the track's expansive production create a sound that feels simultaneously weightless and crushing.

Lyrically, "Juneau" dives into the overwhelming pull of surrender. Images of exposed nerves, scars, violent highs and waves that threaten to consume turn intimacy into something almost physical: a desperate attempt to silence the noise within and find relief through another person. The repeated admission that "it feels like dying, yet I remain" captures the song's emotional contradiction, caught between destruction and rebirth, pain, and release.

Since emerging in 2022, FLOYA have carved out a distinctive space between modern rock and electronic music. Formed by vocalist Phil Bayer and guitarist Marv Wilder, the duo introduced their full artistic vision with debut album Yume in 2024, combining arena-sized rock melodies with expansive EDM soundscapes and an unmistakably uplifting emotional core.

That vision has quickly found an international audience. FLOYA have amassed more than 20 million Spotify streams and over 90,000 monthly listeners, while their music has generated millions of additional plays across YouTube. Their rise has taken them across Europe alongside artists including Holding Absence, Dead Poet Society, Thornhill and Siamese, as well as to Japan and festival stages including Resurrection Fest, Radar Festival, Euroblast and Reeperbahn Festival. Their debut album release show in Essen also sold out, underlining the rapidly growing community surrounding the band.

With "Juneau," however, FLOYA appear less interested in looking back than in leaving a question hanging in the air. It is catchy, vulnerable and unmistakably theirs, but carries a darker emotional weight than what came before.

Whether it is a standalone moment or the first signal of something much bigger remains unanswered.

FLOYA LIVE:

10/10 — Frankfurt Am Main, DE — Batschkapp
11/28 — Leipzig, DE — Haus Auensee

New Heavy Music From Banks Arcade — LISTEN + WATCH

Banks Arcade unleash their new album SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR, a bold and emotionally charged statement from a band that has never been interested in fitting neatly into one genre. Blurring the boundaries between modern metal, alternative electronic music and hip-hop, the record captures Banks Arcade at their most ambitious, unpredictable and personal yet.

Built on contrast, SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR moves effortlessly between crushing heaviness, infectious melodies, electronic experimentation and moments of striking vulnerability. Rather than settling into a single sound, Banks Arcade use the album to push their identity further, bringing together the raw physicality of metal with the maximalist energy of contemporary alternative music. It is an approach deeply rooted in the band’s history, drawing inspiration from underground electronic artists, modern hip hop and classic metalcore while constantly searching for something unmistakably their own.

Arriving alongside the album is "Last Time," a track that perfectly captures its more vulnerable and melodic side. Trading sheer aggression for emotional weight, the song explores the desperate final moments of a relationship that already feels like it is slipping away. Love, regret, and self-sabotage collide with the hope that maybe this time things could end differently.

Brooding production gives way to soaring, confessional hooks as the lyrics turn heartbreak into something visceral. Images of spilling blood like red wine, stitching a broken heart back together and being pushed to the point of flatlining underline the song’s tension between devotion and destruction. At its core, "Last Time" is about wanting to become enough for someone while knowing that your own patterns may ultimately drive them away. That push and pull between hope and resignation makes it a powerful representation of the emotional world surrounding SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR.

That sense of reinvention has defined Banks Arcade from the beginning. Forged through the partnership of two best friends whose backgrounds stretch from jazz degrees to professional MMA fighting, the band emerged from New Zealand through constant relocation, struggle and an uncompromising drive to create something different. Those experiences became the foundation for a musical identity built around evolution rather than convention.

In recent years, Banks Arcade have transformed from New Zealand underdogs into an internationally established name in modern heavy music. The band have sold out headline shows across the Southern Hemisphere, taken their uncompromising live show to international stages including Download Festival, and shared stages with the likes of The Plot In You, Northlane, and Thornhill.

With SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR, Banks Arcade continue exactly what has driven them from the start: dismantling expectations of what a modern heavy band should sound like. Heavy without being confined by heaviness, melodic without sacrificing intensity and experimental without losing its emotional core, the album brings together the many sides of Banks Arcade into their most expansive statement yet.

SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR is out now via Arising Empire

New Heavy Music From thrown

Swedish heavyweights thrown have officially launched the pre-order for their highly anticipated new album UNWANTED, set for release on November 6 via Arising Empire.

Few bands in modern heavy music have experienced a rise quite like thrown. In just a few years, the Swedish four-piece have gone from one of the scene's most exciting new names to a genuine international phenomenon, building a massive global audience with a sound that is instantly recognizable, relentlessly heavy, and impossible to ignore.

Now, UNWANTED captures thrown at the height of that momentum.

Following the impact of their acclaimed debut album EXCESSIVE GUILT, the new record takes everything that has made thrown one of today's most exciting heavy acts and pushes it even further. Crushing grooves collide with hardcore aggression, nu metal swagger, and an almost instinctive sense for hooks, creating songs that are brutally direct without sacrificing their infectious quality.

Lyrically, UNWANTED retains the raw honesty and confrontational attitude that have become inseparable from thrown. Frustration, self-reflection, resentment, isolation, and the absurdity of dealing with other people all find their way into the record, but rarely without the sarcasm, confidence, and blunt humor that give the band their unmistakable personality. Rather than dwelling on darkness, thrown turn it into fuel.

The first three singles have already demonstrated exactly how powerful that combination can be. "split" marked the beginning of this new chapter with a frantic collision of crushing heaviness and internal chaos. "rehearsed" followed with enormous grooves and a venomous edge, while "critic" turned outside noise and unsolicited opinions into a defiant statement from a band increasingly comfortable doing things entirely on their own terms.

Together, the tracks offer the first glimpse of an album that feels unmistakably thrown while showing just how far the band have come. UNWANTED is compact, aggressive, addictive, and built around impact. There is no unnecessary excess and barely a second wasted. That approach has propelled thrown to a level few emerging heavy bands reach this quickly.

Their 2022 debut EP EXTENDED PAIN surpassed 50 million streams across just five tracks and remained in Spotify's Global Metal Top 200 for almost a year. The momentum exploded further with 2024's EXCESSIVE GUILT, an eleven-track debut album delivered in little more than twenty minutes. Since then, thrown have grown to more than 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and accumulated well over 100 million streams worldwide, establishing themselves as one of the biggest breakout stories in contemporary heavy music.

Their impact reaches far beyond streaming. thrown have taken their explosive live show across North America, Europe and Australia, touring alongside artists including Knocked Loose, Fit For A King, Counterparts, While She Sleeps, and Wage War, while steadily building an international headline audience of their own.

The band's remarkable ascent has also been recognised by the wider heavy music community. thrown took home Best Breakthrough Live Artist at the Heavy Music Awards in 2024, followed by Best Breakthrough Album in 2025, further underlining their position among the leading names of a new generation of heavy music.

At the centre of it all are Marcus Lundqvist on vocals, Johan Liljeblad and Andreas Malm on guitars, and drummer and producer Buster Odeholm. Together, they have created a sound that pulls from hardcore, metalcore, and nu metal while belonging completely to thrown: Massive grooves, abrasive production, unforgettable hooks and songs designed to hit immediately.

With UNWANTED, thrown are no longer simply proving why they are one of heavy music’s most exciting breakthrough bands. They are showing exactly why they have become one of the most compelling heavy acts of their generation.

No filler. No compromise. No slowing down.

THUNDERMOTHER Announce New Album "Mothers of Thunder" Out February 5, 2027

Swedish hard rock queens THUNDERMOTHER are back with their Napalm Records studio debut, Mothers of Thunder, out on February 5, 2027. Their seventh album once again proves that the genre's leading ladies can do everything men could — and maybe even better. Their rock 'n' roll vibe comes in with dirty riffs and cheeky lines, the powerful delivery begging for energetic live shows.

THUNDERMOTHER have previously proven to excel at just that: after opening for the legendary Scorpions and Judas Priest, playing at iconic festivals like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, or Sweden Rock, and releasing their first live album, Live'n'Alive, in 2026, the four-piece is ready for a new era. Mothers of Thunder is high-energy encouragement for women as well as thrilling, head-bopping fun for everyone else.

Along with the announcement, THUNDERMOTHER turn the genre on its head with the first single, ''Bimbo Boost." Playing the epic riff to Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water'' backwards, the four-piece addresses the pressure on female artists to always look perfect when going on stage — an expectation that passes by male musicians.

THUNDERMOTHER about '"Bimbo Boost'":
''It's damn hard being a woman. We have to do our makeup, straighten our hair, reverse aging, and always look our best. It's exhausting. We wish we had a magic guitar booster pedal that instantly did all of that for us! We love making fun music videos, and this time we went bananas!”

Watch the Official Music Video for ''Bimbo Boost'' Below:

With their seventh album, THUNDERMOTHER take a step to become nothing less than rock goddesses. Mothers of Thunder is their time to shine, putting genre colleagues in their places with ease. The future belongs to THUNDERMOTHER!

THUNDERMOTHER about Mothers of Thunder:
''We know that it's what every band says when they're releasing a new album, but this time it's true. This is the best THUNDERMOTHER album yet! The songwriting, the playing, and the lyrical themes have reached the next level, and we can't wait to share Mothers of Thunder with the world!

"Mothers of Thunder has killer riffs, groovy grooves, and powerful vocals paired with fun energy and the occasional serious tone. But most importantly, it has Filippa, Joan, Linnéa, and Majsan! Our musicianship gets a real chance to shine, and I think you can hear how much fun we're having through your speakers.

"This album is for you, the old fans, the new fans, and the future fans. Together we will make sure to keep rock'n'roll alive and kicking! We are THUNDERMOTHER, and this is Mothers of Thunder. Play it loud, sing along, and don't forget to ROCK!”

Gavin Adcock Releases “Bad Off”: His Last Single Before THE DAY I HANG IT UP Arrives Oct. 2

Georgia native Gavin Adcock has been steadily releasing songs for eight weeks leading into the release of his third studio album, The Day I Hang It Up, due Oct. 2. Now, with just one week remaining until the album is here, the man American Songwriter called “a modern-day outlaw” is releasing his final taste of the project today. Listen to “Bad Off” Below.

Written by Adcock, Jack Rauton, Joybeth Taylor and Colton Venner, “Bad Off” depicts the downward spiral following a breakup, and the bad decisions that go along with it.

Life was going my way, now I’m seein’ sideways
And every move I make is wrong
Livin’ out a Waylon song
Guess I’m doin’ one thing right
Yeah I’m Bad Off, up to no good tonight

Adcock recently invited fans to vote on which city they wanted to see host his album release shows. The overwhelming response led the singer to choose two cities: Studio at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX on Oct. 5 and The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 8. To celebrate the title of the 18th track on the album, “18,” tickets cost just $18 and can be purchased HERE for Dallas and HERE for Atlanta, respectively.

With Music Row Magazine celebrating his “rowdy, high-octane performance,” it’s a reputation he’s bringing to fans across the country on his 30-city The Day I Hang It Up Tour. The trek features a rotating lineup of special guests, including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.

A proven must-see live performer, Adcock has sold out venues coast to coast across multiple headline tours, including the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour and Need To Tour. Most recently, he joined Morgan Wallen for select dates on both legs of Wallen’s 2025 and 2026 tours, earning explosive responses from audiences nationwide.

Clutch Announce New Album 'Wasted Lands'; Share Music Video For Title Track

Maryland rock institution Clutch have announced their fourteenth studio album, Wasted Lands, set for release on January 22, 2027 via the band’s own Weathermaker Music. An extensive variety of pre-order bundles are available now HERE. The announcement arrives alongside the release of its raucously groovy, riff-driven title track, “Wasted Lands,” and accompanying official music video, available to stream HERE and watch below.

Written and recorded at their longtime Frederick, Maryland base, the Doom Saloon, Wasted Lands reunites Clutchwith producer Machine for the first time since 2015’s Psychic Warfare. The sheer velocity of their creative collaboration can be felt from the first note of the record and is expertly displayed on today’s release title track, “Wasted Lands”. Neil Fallon’s lyrical knack of conjuring characters from a handful of strange, sharply observed details and dropping them into Clutch songs with their own vibrant and storied mythologies has long been a defining characteristic of the Clutch canon. On “Wasted Lands,” he conjures a creature so malign that H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King are invoked only to make clear that even they could not dream it up. Rumor casts it as a government experiment, a heavenly angel or an omen preparing the ground for the end of days. Nobody knows for certain. The locals call it Neil Patrick Fallon. Sharing some thoughts on today’s release, Neil Fallon says

"The inspiration for the lyrics in Wasted Lands came about when it was brought to my attention that someone had been dragging my name on FaceBook (weird, right?). Apparently, I had reneged on a free t-shirt and dinner. I think it was a prize in a pay to play contest. Not to overstate the obvious, but it was a load of horse hockey. Many people tried to explain to this person that it was not me and that they had been hustled. But they simply would not believe it. So I thought, screw it, no half-measures. You want a monster? Let’s give you one."

Beneath Fallon’s lyrical story-craft, Jean-Paul Gaster, Dan Maines and Tim Sult lock into a classic-Clutch, riff-driven groove featuring a very intentional and strategically placed bass-drum hit from Gaster. One he knew would make the live crowd go wild. He shares

“There’s a part where Neil says, ‘Vegetable, mineral, man, or beast.’ And I put a bass drum on, ‘man or beast,’ and Machine thought that was kind of weird. He was like, ‘Man, you’re covering up the vocal!’ And I said, ‘No, that bass drum is gonna make the crowd go nuts, I guarantee it.’ And it does, because there’s nothing more exciting than having a big bass drum slam through a PA, and Neil singing a vocal on top of it. I mean, I get goosebumps from that, you know?”

Across Wasted Lands, Clutch keep their riff-heavy foundations intact while making room for a sharper melodic streak. Tracks including “Colorado Fuel and Iron,” “Stage Fright” and “Loaf and Jug” build their considerable weight around chord progressions as much as individual riffs. “Beware the Fever” brings banjo onto a Clutch record for the first time, using a rough demo played by Fallon and recorded by Gaster during a writing session. Despite several attempts to re-record the performance, nothing quite came close so the original recording is what went on the record.

Fallon’s lyrics open in the rubble of the Georgia Guidestones on “The Drifter Returns” and close beneath an exploding star on “The Message is Clear.” The route between them runs through Colorado’s Highway 50, abandoned company towns, corporate appetites, creature-feature horror and deep space.

Speaking on the announcement of their fourteenth studio album, Clutch share

“Exploded monuments, haunted coal towns, robber barons, time cops, a chestburster, fifteen tons of antimatter and a creature called Neil Patrick Fallon. Wasted Lands came from one clear intention: write a great rock record that will make fans go nuts when they hear these songs live, while leaving enough space in the creative process to follow the unexpected turns that keep Clutch exciting to us and our fans after thirty-five years together.”

Wasted Lands will be released worldwide on January 22, 2027 via Weathermaker Music. To pre-order the album and see all music and apparel products available in the US and additional territories, go to clutchmerch.com

US fans will have the opportunity to experience some of the new material from Wasted Lands for the first time when the band head out on their 16-date US headline tour next month with support from Slomosa and Blood Vulture. The run begins October 16 at The Fillmore Charlotte and closes November 7 at The NorVa in Norfolk, taking Clutchthrough the South, Midwest and Northeast ahead of the album’s January release. SICKSENSE Release New EP Funerals, Alongside Official Music Video For "Seller's Remorse"

Reinvigorated and reinvented, modern metal act SICKSENSE return with the new EP release Funerals. Comprised of a ferocious collection of tracks that demonstrate a fresh sonic direction, SICKSENSE present a nu-metalcore dynamic with hints of melodic prog and djent. Alongside the arrive of Funeralsis a new official music video for the aggressive and unapologetic "Seller's Remorse."

"'Seller's Remorse' calls out hypocritical backstabbers." The band explain.

"Without giving away any spoilers, we had a fun day of laughs out in the sun filming the music video for this one!

The lyrics take a dig at the ones who are too lazy to build up anything meaningful themselves. So they decide to tear down harder working people instead, as a cope for their own shortcomings.

Sicksense is never shy to tell it like it is through sarcasm and blunt honesty."

Save Us Share "Last of Me" Video — WATCH

Transcontinental trio SAVE US — Miguel Owls [vocals], Chris Biddiscombe[guitar], and Benji Havercroft [drums] — will release their new album Death To Something on October 16 via Solid State Records. Pre-order the album, produced by Landon Tewers, here.

They have shared the video for "Last of Me." Watch it below.

It's a lush, vocal-forward track that cycles masterfully through a course of quiet-loud dynamics. Strap yourself in; this one's an emotional thrill ride that will connect with fans of Deftones, Loathe, and Dayseeker.

"'Last of Me' was an emotional challenge for me," explains Owls. "I had so much I wanted to say, but I really pushed to keep it clear and honest without feeling wordy or cheesy. It's about finally breaking free from a toxic relationship and recognizing the grip it had on you for so long. There’s a lot of weight behind that realization, but also a sense of release. I truly hope this song helps people find the strength to let go, move forward, and start healing."

The origin story of SAVE US and how the globally-based band came together is quite simple. Back in 2023, Owls was regularly posting covers on social media and quietly cultivating a following online. Hailing from the Central Valley of California, he never expected to find his future bandmates in his DMs. Bristol, UK-based Biddiscombe stumbled upon one of the vocalist's Architects covers and sent a message on TikTok. Clicking right away, they commenced creating music (despite over 5,000 miles between them). Due to a factory day job from 1pm-9:30pm, Owls typically woke up at 5am in order to write with Chris and Benji before work. Prior to meeting in-person, the trio had remotely recorded a few tracks. Eventually, the singer crossed the pond to shoot the visual for "Distance" from their LUCID EP. Reacting with listeners, the track clocked north of 2.6 million Spotify streams. The group maintained their momentum with 2024's EXIST EP. A year later, they inked a deal with Solid State and decamped to Michigan where they recorded with sought-after producer and The Plot In You mastermind Landon Tewers.

Ultimately, the band's name reflects their shared experience.

"Chris and Benji were both ready to stop doing music," Owls reveals. "I was in the same boat. We were all on the edge of letting our dreams go. Out of nowhere, we found each other, went all the way in together, and the band genuinely saved us. We're always dabbling in emotion, so our goal is to reach you on a human level."

Mission accomplished on Death To Something, which in all actuality, brought the band members back to life.

Corey Kent's Highly Anticipated HEARTLAND ROCK AND ROLL Available Now

Multi-Platinum Sony Music Nashville recording artist Corey Kent releases his highly anticipated third major-label album, Heartland Rock and Roll, available everywhere today. The 16-track collection, which Entertainment Focus noted “doesn’t just feel like another release; it feels like a statement of identity,” captures the Oklahoma native’s signature blend of country, rock and soul while putting a name to the sound he has spent his career building. Listen to Heartland Rock and Roll  Below.

Originally slated as a 15-track album, Heartland Rock and Roll grew at the last minute with the addition of the sultry “Don’t Stop Now,” written by Kent with Austin Goodloe, Lydia Vaughan and Joybeth Taylor. After Kent teased the song for fans, the response was immediate, convincing him the track needed to make the final album.

“My new song ‘Don’t Stop Now’ has gotta be the sexiest song I’ve ever written,” shares Kent. “It’s a new lane for me but I had so much fun writing and recording this one because it has so much soul and vibe to it. It almost feels like a Continuum-era John Mayer song, if John Mayer had a Southern accent. Early on I was influenced a lot by soul and R&B music and it’s been really fun to explore how I can incorporate that in my own sound.”

The song finds Kent exploring a more sensual side of his songwriting, painting an intimate scene, “We’re already halfway down the hall / Knocked a couple pictures off the wall,” before building into its soulful chorus:

Produced primarily by Austin Goodloe, with additional production from Jon Randall and Chris Farren, Heartland Rock and Roll spans 16 tracks that blend golden-hour nostalgia, rugged honesty, hard-earned perspective and the peace that comes with staying true to yourself. The album features previously released tracks including “Everyday Life,” “Rocky Mountain Low” featuring Koe Wetzel which Billboard called “an unyielding, rock-fueled anthem,” “Wannabe,” “Cigarette Burns,” “Rather Be Here” featuring Jason Aldean and current single “Empty Words,” which is Top 25 and climbing at country radio, logging almost 5 million streams per week.

“Heartland Rock and Roll is my third major label album, and it’s really the first time I’ve been able to finally name the sound I’ve been working towards my entire career,” said Kent. “The lyrics span from nostalgia, to honest regrets and gratitude for the simple things I value most in life. From top to bottom, this is me. Every artist wants to leave their mark in music... a way to say, ‘I was here and I did it my way.’ This feels like mine. This is heartland rock and roll.”

The album’s release follows a year of momentum for Kent, who has continued to build his profile on stages across the country while preparing for his biggest headline tour to date. Earlier this month, Kent announced his 2027 Heartland Rock and Roll Tour, a 20+ date cross-country trek kicking off Jan. 22 at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and making stops in Houston, Detroit, Columbus, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Boston and more before culminating April 30 with Kent’s headline debut at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Tyler Nance and Jacob Hackworth will join as support throughout the tour. Tickets are available at coreykentofficial.com.

“This year I’ve played all over the world and opened up for some of my favorite artists,” shared Kent. “But now it feels like it’s time for a headline tour right here in the heartland…the Heartland Rock and Roll Tour! I’ve reimagined everything on this tour making this show unlike anything we’ve ever done. I hand picked some of my favorite venues in the country and it’s almost time!”

Infusing Oklahoma roots with the untamed energy of a rebel rocker, Kent has built his career on doing things his own way. From dancehalls and dive bars in Bixby, Oklahoma, to earning two No. 1 singles at country radio, more than 1 billion career streams and multiple RIAA certifications, Kent’s rise has been steady, hard-earned and fueled by conviction.

“I’ve been fighting my differences for so long, but now it’s like, ‘Let’s just use those,’” Kent explains. “I’m not trying to be anybody else. Bigger fades, ‘better’ lasts.”

To date, Kent has earned Platinum certification for “Something’s Gonna Kill Me,” Gold certification for “This Heart” and Triple-Platinum certification for his No. 1 breakthrough hit “Wild As Her.” Rolling Stone has praised the Oklahoman native for giving “the region’s signature sound a shot of mainstream sensibility,” while CMT and the Opry NextStage program have recognized him as an artist to watch. He has toured alongside Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, Parker McCollum, Jon Pardi and Koe Wetzel.

JOHN MORGAN ADDS FALL TOUR DATES AND RELEASES NEW SONG "CRY BABY"

Six time #1 hitmaker John Morgan is releasing his newest track, “Cry Baby.” The raw lovesong is written by John Morgan, Lydia Vaughn, Kurt Allison, and Tully Kennedy and produced by John Morgan and Brent Anderson. Listen to “Cry Baby” Below.

The country star is also adding fall dates to his touring schedule as his latest single “Kid Myself” is eyeing the top of the country airplay charts. After wrapping Brantley Gilbert’s Real American Tour, Morgan is adding ten headlining shows beginning November 12 in Myrtle Beach, SC and ending on December 5 in Starkville, MS. Tickets are on sale now and fans can buy tickets HERE.

On his self-aware new song "Cry Baby," John Morgan turns the mirror on himself. He owns up to the moments he's let his temper get the better of him — and the guilt that follows when he sees the hurt he's caused reflected in someone he loves. It's a vulnerable, grown kind of love song, less about grand romantic gestures and more about the harder work of accountability, growth, and trying to be better for the person who's stuck by him. With his signature blend of grit and sincerity, Morgan delivers a heartfelt plea that balances toughness with tenderness — proof that real strength is admitting when you're wrong.

Morgan is spending this fall touring, not only on Brantley Gilbert’s Real American Tour, but headlining his own dates with support from Erin Kinsey and Chris Ryan. Tickets are currently on sale HERE.

About John Morgan
:

GRAMMY-nominated and 6x #1 hitmaker, John Morgan delivers country music with a blue-collar edge rooted in the only life he knows. Raised in Sylva, North Carolina — a small town in the Great Smoky Mountains — he grew up playing bluegrass festivals in his family band. Now a “Music City songwriting star” (Tennessean) and “in-demand songcrafter” (Billboard), John has written 16 songs for Jason Aldean alone — including Aldean’s #1 hits “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” “Whiskey Drink,” “Don’t Tell On Me” and the GRAMMY®-nominated “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood. His songs have also been recorded by Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch and Thomas Rhett. After years behind the scenes, John’s breakout moment came with his debut single “Friends Like That (feat. Jason Aldean),” which shot to #1 at country radio — earning him his fourth #1 as a songwriter and first as an artist. Morgan’s songwriting also earned him the coveted CMA Triple Play Award. The momentum continues with his debut album Carolina Blue, out now. A blend of raw storytelling and small-town soul, the project features the rising single “Kid Myself,” currently climbing the charts. Having already played the Grand Ole Opry and toured with Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Riley Green, ERNEST, Nate Smith and more, John is heading out on Brantley Gilbert's “Real American Tour” this fall where he will sing his hits and preview new music like his latest releases “Once in a Mile" and "Cry Baby." John has a track record that proves that he’s not just one of Nashville’s most sought-after songwriters - he’s one of its next big stars.
