NYHC Crossover Pioneers CRO-MAGS Unleash New Single "Wired for Chaos" + Official Music Video

Today, CRO-MAGS, the iconic New York hardcore outfit fronted by Harley Flanagan, proudly make their BLKIIBLK debut with the new single, "Wired for Chaos." The new track marks CRO-MAGS' first new music in six years, giving fans a taste of what's to come.

"Wired for Chaos," which shares its name with last year's documentary about Harley, was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange, Cavalera Conspiracy). It was produced by Harley and Arthur and features drum phenom Greyson Nekrutman. The new single arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

On the new single "Wired for Chaos," Harley Flanagan comments:

“The new video for ‘Wired for Chaos’ reminds me of our first video, ‘We Gotta Know,’ which came out 40 years ago, except that it shows where the band is at now. I am proud to say that we are one of those few bands that have a multigenerational audience and bridge the gap between hard-core kids, metalheads, punks, skinheads, and more, as seen in the audience of this video, which was filmed at our shows on the past few tours. Not many bands have such a blended fan base besides Motörhead, and I am proud to say that we are following in that tradition."

Harley continues, "The song title ‘Wired for Chaos’ was taken directly from the recent documentary of the same name. It comes in with an aggressive metal intro befitting a UFC walk-in or a video game, then bursts into a more traditional HC thrash vibe before returning to a heavy beatdown at the end in an unmistakable CRO-MAGS style. The song is literally about being programmed and wired for chaos from birth, not just by environment, but by parents, trauma, childhood experiences, and the resulting PTSD that I personally struggle with as a result.”

The history of Harley Flanagan and his band CRO-MAGS is integral not just to the history of hardcore, but to modern metal, rock, and punk itself. With roots stretching from the shadow of Warhol and the Velvets to CBGB’s hardcore matinees and L’Amour Brooklyn thrash-a-thons, all the way through current generations of punk and extreme metal, CRO-MAGS are the connective tissue. Just ask the likes of Dave Grohl, Green Day, and Turnstile. CRO-MAGSstand side by side with Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Metallica as both an influence and a gamechanger.

The brainchild of a 14-year-old Harley Flanagan, CRO-MAGS began in 1981 while Flanaganwas playing drums for The Stimulators. By 1982/83, he had recorded the primal CRO-MAGSdemos — four songs that would become the blueprint for the seminal 1986 release, 'Age of Quarrel.' Initially a solo vision, Flanagan wrote and played all of the music himself. In 1985, alongside guitarist Parris Mayhew, vocalist John Joseph McGowan, and drummer Mackie Jayson, the genre-defining 'Age of Quarrel' demo was recorded. The full-length album followed in 1986, with Doug Holland of Kraut joining on second guitar.

Explosive both on and offstage, CRO-MAGS have had a tumultuous history, to put it mildly. Through multiple lineups, six studio albums beyond the original demos, and more than four decades of worldwide touring, CRO-MAGS remain one of the most iconic bands in American hardcore and metal. Today, the band is led by Flanagan on bass and vocals — a role he has held since 'Best Wishes' (1989). He remains the only member to appear on every CRO-MAGS release since the band’s founding.

Hard Rock Force NESTOR Reveal Live Rendition of "On The Run" — LISTEN + WATCH

Melodic hard rockers NESTOR unleash the first single from the upcoming live album, Live at Gothenburg Film Studios (out August 14 via Napalm Records) with nostalgic "On The Run!" The studio version, released on the celebrated debut album Kids in a ghost town (2021), counts as one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date and has gathered millions of streams. Now, the band's captivating live energy meets the song's epic AOR-inspired keys and guitars — and one of their possibly catchiest singalong-choruses so far.

Originally formed in 1989, NESTOR broke into the international rock scene with the band's comeback and debut album in 2021, immediately gaining critical praise and massive live opportunities. The acclaimed hard rock force has played alongside iconic acts like Kiss and Europe, and fans have gotten to experience NESTOR's outstanding stage presence also on headline tours around Europe and even in Japan. Check out the atmospheric live video for "On The Run" below for a first glimpse of NESTOR's first live album and DVD!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"We are super thrilled to release our live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studioswith 'On The Run' as the first single leading the way into our universe. I think this album captures NESTOR in our natural habitat: loud, heartfelt, unapologetically dramatic, and somehow both nostalgic and new at the same time. I hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed playing."

Watch the Live Video for "On the Run" Below:

Live at Gothenburg Film Studios treats fans old and new to a hefty selection of live versions of future classics from NESTOR's celebrated catalogue. The band brings the heat with a new rendition of the track "Firesign" (originally from Kids in a ghost town, 2021) – catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily '80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals. The nostalgia-drenched following track "Teenage Rebel" (title track of the latest studio album, 2024) gets audiences singing along without a failure with its irresistible chorus that is accompanied with emotion-loaded melodies and massive riffs. Further highlights of this extensive, 16-track offering include a live rendition of one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date, "On The Run" (also from the praised debut Kids in a ghost town, 2021).

This comprehensive live album, available even as a DVD, draws from NESTOR's impressive repertoire of arena-worthy anthems and rock ballads, polished with the very best AOR and classic '80s rock influences. Without a doubt, NESTOR continue their steady mission to restore the glory of rock!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"When I listen to Live at Gothenburg Film Studios, it becomes clear to me that it shows everything that NESTOR was about, from the beginning. A live performance with all the little quirks and mistakes that makes it human, a thing that I have learned to love even more in an era of AI-generated music. Live at Gothenburg Film Studios is less clinical and more of a human experience in comparison to our studio albums and shows a different side of NESTOR. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did recording it up on stage."

Butcher Babies Release New Single + Video “Blame it on the Wind” via Judge & Jury Records

A Love Letter to the Past:
A Seductive, Emotionally-Charged Hard Rock Anthem Exploring Desire, Temptation, and the Ghosts of Love’s Past

Butcher Babies have released their powerful new single “Blame it on the Wind,” produced by Howard Benson. This marks the fourth release from their forthcoming album via Judge & Jury Records.

The track serves as a key chapter in an album that functions as a deeply personal love letter to vocalist Heidi Shepherd’s past reflecting on the experiences, relationships, heartbreaks, and hard-earned lessons that have shaped her over the last 25 years. It’s a record rooted in self-reflection and growth, honoring where she’s been while embracing the strength and clarity of who she has become today.

“Blame It On The Wind” is a seductive hard-rock track inspired by a late-night encounter in LA. The song narrates a one-night stand, fueled by neon lights and loud music, leading to an unforgettable experience you'll want to visit for more than one night. The track shifts from a slow burn to a high-energy tempo reminiscent of In This Moment meets Jinjer. Through Heidi Shepherd’s commanding vocals, it captures the restless tug-of-war between desire and blame.

Heidi Shepherd shares:

“There are certain nights, certain moments, and certain connections you never fully shake. ‘Blame It On The Wind’ came from one of those nights that should have disappeared in the morning. In 2012, what started as a one-night stand morphed into a connection that would haunt me for years. A moment that we both knew was off-limits; however, the forbidden fruit continually pulled us back into that first night. I remember it so vividly; his scent, the way he said my name, his bootcut jeans, the balcony in his Santa Monica loft, and that very first touch. This song is about a lust you can't leave, a denial of accountability, and a laundry list of excuses for following the white rabbit. I think sometimes we blame the setting for the choices we make because it’s easier than admitting someone genuinely got under our skin. That’s what this song is about for me.”

Following a massive global touring run across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, Butcher Babies will continue their international trek with dates in Japan this June.

Untitled With Drums Announce Sophomore Album Made Flesh

UNTITLED WITH DRUMS are announcing Made Flesh with a music video for “Matter”. On the lead single from their upcoming sophomore album, the alt. rockers lock in and never let up with the focus of a band that’s fully confident in themselves.

Made Flesh maps a free-flowing exploration of the human psyche. The album deals with the ego, denial, toxicity and faith without coming to any easy resolutions. “Matter” is about the almost irrepressible need to put oneself above everything else and to be the only one who counts. "I wanna be important / I wanna be my own Sun / I've got to be the only one to matter now,", vocalist Martin Le Borgne sings. The song doesn't condemn so much as expose. It’s a mirror held up to a reflex we would rather not recognize in ourselves.

No strangers to the specialist press or the festival circuit, Untitled With Drums have been together since 2014. The band released their debut album Hollow in 2020, just days before their native France entered its first COVID lockdown. Despite the timing, the album drew widespread praise and propelled the band to the stages of Hellfest, London’s Desertfest and the Nuits de Fourviere festival, where they opened for the Deftones and Baroness.

With this sophomore album, UNTITLED WITH DRUMS establish themselves as the beacon of a French rock scene struggling to take risks, too often settling for crude heaviness. Theirs cuts deeper — straight to the flesh.

UK Alt-Metal Trio TROPIC GOLD Returns with New Single "Witch House (Feat. Harpy)" Marking Their First Release Under New Label BLKIIBLK

Today, ahead of their Download Festival appearance next month, hotly-tipped Essex trio TROPIC GOLD returns with their brand new single, “Witch House” featuring Harpy, marking their debut under their new label partner, BLKIIBLK. "Witch House" arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

On the new track, the band shares:

'Witch House' explores the all encompassing parasite of an external force consuming and trapping its victim. This force is experienced in many forms, 'Witch House' addresses the relationship and connection between two people, one being the trapped, feeling they’re within a hex they cannot break.”

Watch the Official Video for "Witch House (Feat. Harpy)" Below:

TROPIC GOLD pulls from metalcore, industrial noise, electronic production, and modern alternative culture without ever sitting comfortably in one lane. Self-produced and creatively self-driven, the South East trio have built early momentum through a mix of huge hooks, abrasive electronics, and the kind of volatility that makes their songs feel like they could completely fall apart at any second.

Support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, and Rock Sound has helped push the band well beyond underground buzz, while tours alongside WARGASM, Resolve, Windwaker, and Normandie have quickly established them as a genuinely impressive live band rather than just another internet-heavy project.

The material following last year’s ‘SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING’ EP feels sharper, heavier, and more immediate, leaning harder into contrast without losing the hooks underneath it all.

With appearances at Download Festival and a stage headline slot at 2000trees Festival this summer, TROPIC GOLD are starting to feel less like a promising new act and more like a band properly breaking through.

TROPIC GOLD Live:

June 13 - Donington @ Download Festival

June 30 - Newcastle @ Think Tank *

July 1 - Leeds @ Hyde Park Book Club *

July 2 - Southampton @ 1865 *

July 3 - Bedford @ Esquires *

GRAVEYARD - Announce Brand New Album "Fever" To Be Released On October 9th

One of the most distinctive and revered forces in rock music, Sweden’s GRAVEYARD have announced October 9th, 2026 as the release date for their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Fever. Three years after the dreamlike haze of much-lauded previous record Six, the band return with a heavier, more direct sound — while still carrying the blues-soaked soul that defined their breakthrough album Hisingen Blues.

GRAVEYARD commented:
“Alright folks. Here it is — album number 7.
Fever. Haven’t we always had it?
The itch, the burn and the restlessness.
The urge to push forward into the fog. Even with the teeth of hopelessness snapping at our asses and all the smoke and mirrors of our time telling us we got no future.
Come what may. Let’s go!

This time around, we decided to waste no time. No outside producer. No detours.
Just GRAVEYARD, straight to the point, doing what we do best.
This just might be our greatest album so far!
Hope you like it, too.”

The striking artwork for Fever was created by acclaimed Dutch artist Maarten Donders, whose powerful and expressive visual style has been showcased at the renowned cult festival Roadburn. Over the years, Donders has created artwork for more than 50 artists, ranging from Acid King to Frank Zappa.

Handling mixing duties is Pelle Gunnerfeldt, celebrated for capturing the raw intensity of bands such as The Hives and Refused, while more recently working with Viagra Boys.

Furthermore,GRAVEYARD have confirmed the first leg of their 2026 / 2027 tour with BLUES PILLS. Scroll down for all confirmed shows. Stay tuned for more European dates to be announced!

German Symphonic Metal Icons XANDRIA Unveil Video for New Single "Colours"

German symphonic metal band XANDRIA present the second single from their upcoming album. "Colours" is another highlight in their 30-year-spanning career. Throughout the song, a large classical choir takes center stage, while cinematic orchestral arrangements collide with modern metal riffing. Meanwhile, singer Ambre Vourvahis showcases her impressive vocal range, switching between multiple styles as effortlessly as she is convincing; a skill rare in symphonic metal as well as elsewhere. From harsh vocals all the way to operatic singing, "Colours" creates a sound that is both grand and contemporary— a powerful showcase of what modern symphonic metal can be.

After the latest album (2023) became XANDRIA's most successful release to date, entering the Official German Album Charts at #9, the upcoming Eclipse, releasing August 7 via Napalm Records, is taking the band on their most diverse path yet. A journey full of discoveries, it has XANDRIA show their true "Colours..."

Band mastermind Marco Heubaum comments on "Colours":
"This is the second song from our upcoming album that we are proud to share with you. Together with the first single, 'The Shannon's Home', it offers another glimpse into the many different colours of the album — a journey full of discoveries, unexpected turns, and quite a few surprises. Just as diversity makes our world richer, it also shapes this album. Different voices, different perspectives, different emotions — all part of what makes life richer, stronger and more beautiful."

Watch the official video for "Colours" Below:

Chart-topping German symphonic metal icons XANDRIA will release their new studio album, Eclipse, on August 7 via Napalm Records. The upcoming full-length features 11 tracks that represent the most diverse body of work in the band's discography so far: Every song has its own identity—a journey full of discoveries—yet they all belong to the same world. Classic, '80s-inspired metal riffs stand alongside low-tuned modern metal guitars, cinematic orchestral sounds meet Celtic folk influences, and dark electronic elements blend with intimate rock moments, even including a guitar solo that owes more to Pink Floyd than to any metal genre.

Eclipse marks XANDRIA's most outspoken and cinematic album so far: A dark, colourful, and defiant statement for reason, empathy, and democracy in times when all three are under attack, brought to life by a band fueled with new energy, new ambitions, and a clear artistic direction, aiming higher than ever and not looking back!

Pre-order your copy of Eclipse here.

As guests, XANDRIA welcome Subway to Sally's violinist Ally Storch, who can be heard on "Lore," while the band's longtime friend McAlbi is featured on four songs with his Celtic tin and low whistles ("The Shannon’s Home," "Northstar," "Masquerade," and "Lore"). "The Last Generation" features a children’s choir and piano performed by Richard Z. Wang, a Hollywood pianist who has worked at Hans Zimmer's studio. In addition, the band has once again collaborated with the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir, known for their work on numerous film and television scores, including His Dark Materials. All songs were orchestrated by two film score composers working in Hollywood: Lukas Geppert, who worked on the scores for Nobody 2 and the latest Final Destination, and Ishaan Tyagi, who has contributed to productions such as Wuthering Heights.

U.S. indie rocker JONNY COUCH reveals 'Overwhelmed', previewing first album in 7 years

U.S. indie rocker Jonny Couch returns with 'Overwhelmed', the first single from the full-length rock and roll journey 'Where The Sidewalk Ends' – his first new album in seven years. This 10-track offering – his most ambitious work to date – features such fan favorites as 'Sweet Charlene' and more recent compositions, expanding on the melodic craftsmanship and emotional honesty that have become hallmarks of Couch's songwriting,

An inviting gateway to the new album, 'Overwhelmed' is fuelled by jangling guitars, a propulsive rhythm section, and an undeniable melodic hook, pairing upbeat energy with lyrics that explore the frustrations of a relationship coming apart in real time.

'Where The Sidewalk Ends' features cover artwork by world-recognized New York artist Anne Muntges, known for her highly detailed drawings, prints, and installations. Exhibiting nationally and internationally, he work was also featured in the music-history volume "Women Who Rock: Bessie to Beyoncé, Girl Groups to Riot Grrrl".

'Overwhelmed' was recorded at Landline Recording in Hoboken, New Jersey and engineered, mixed and produced by Jon Chinn (Wild Child, Lomelda, David Ramirez, Gina Chavez, Calliope Musicals), one of four accomplished producers involved in this album, each of whom bring their own perspective to the sessions.

The album was mastered at Mr. Pink Records in Bastrop, TX by Jonas Wilson, known for his work with The Black Angels, Heartless Bastards, Sumbuck and Urban Heat. Along with Chinn, Wilson is one of the producers involved in this album, the other two being Peter Mavrogeorgis (The National, Boy Harsher, Grinderman, Sharon Van Etten, Bootblacks), and Dan Haag (The Astrojet and The Black Swans, both fronted by Fountains of Wayne's Jody Porter).

"'I'm obsessed with the song 'Good Thing' by Fine Young Cannibals. I wanted to write something danceable and jangly and fun like that. This song admittedly sounds a lot different and is much faster, however I'm hoping that the fun spirit remains with the bounciness of the drums and bass and the jangly guitar parts," says Jonny Couch.

"This is a tune about relationship troubles, and having cigarette smoke blown in your face, which really isn't ideal when you're trying to have a meaningful conversation. Then again, maybe it's all your fault."

Now a fixture on the New York and New Jersey music scene, Couch was a NYC rock drummer before embarking on his journey as a solo artist in 2016. His acclaimed 'Animal Instinct' EP earned praise for its blend of soulful pop and rock sensibilities, with Louder Than War dubbing him "a Bryan Ferry pop crooner" and High Times calling his work "charming". His 2019 debut album 'Mystery Man' further established his reputation as a gifted songwriter, earning recognition in Bandcamp Daily's "Unsung Power Pop Gems From All Eras" feature and thensome.

Building a devoted following through energetic performances and sharp songwriting, Jonny Couch has performed alongside artists including The Fleshtones, Josie Cotton, The Nude Party, Paul Collins Beat, and The Plimsouls, along with appearances at the Savannah Stopover Music Festival, Hoboken Arts & Music Festival, Jersey City's Lo-Fi Fest, and WFMU 91.1 FM. He can regularly be spotted on stage at haunts like Pet Shop, Berlin and TV Eye, wearing his signature black cap.

Between infectious rockers and ballads, Couch's music draws its origins directly from the power pop and new wave greats of the late '70s and early '80s. Now, back with renewed focus and a collection of songs rooted in timeless songwriting, strong melodies and rock-and-roll energy. 'Overwhelmed' offers a compelling first glimpse of what's to come—an unmistakable reminder of why Jonny Couch remains an artist to watch in 2026.

As of 'June 1st, 'Overwhelmed' will be available for download exclusively via Bandcamp. Now available for pre-order, 'Where The Sidewalk Ends' will be released on July 24th. Jonny Couch's album release show takes place that same evening at Sleepwalk in Brooklyn with other live dates in New Jersey, Georgia and New York happening this summer and UK dates to follow in August.

ECCE SHNAK kicks off UK tour with EMF, sharing trippy art-metal single “Vincent”

NYC art-rockers Ecce Shnak kick off their UK tour with EMF this week, beginning with Manchester and followed by Worthing, Portsmouth, Southend, London and Leeds.  They wrapped up East coast and Midwest dates in North America last month following their 2025 West Coast, along with Spacehog. Ecce Shnak also recently featured on EMF's stellar track 'LGBTQ+ Lover' with both Davey and Bella contributing vocals, the video for which was filmed during the 2025 tour.

This is all happening on the back of "Vincent", the first single from their full-length album “Dandy Variances", out in autumn via Records, Man Records.  Operatic trills collide with frantic rock energy in a high-decibel takedown of a formulaic antagonist through the power of one's own voice. Directed and edited by DJay Brawner and produced by Brawner, Brooks Jones, Beth Narducci and David Roush, the video is an homage to superb music videos of yesteryear - for Meshuggah’s “Bleed” and 311's “Down”.

Formed in the mid-noughties and forged in NYC's experimental scene, Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) is made up of David Roush (composer, bassist and one of two singers), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums).

"We, Ecce Shnak and EMF, are absolutely thrilled to BOOMshnakalaka our way through 6 dates in EMF’s homeland... It will be EMF and Ecce Shnak’s 3rd musical voyage together, after our trampucings through the West Coast of the US in June 2025 and parts of the East Coast this past month," says David Roush.

Ecce Shnak has a reputation for astounding performances, their music a volatile yet meticulously crafted ecosystem, where technical precision meets a sense of inspired mayhem. Their 2025 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP was recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci, mixed by Nicholas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).

"Vincent is a mid-tempo, jumpy, flash-in-the-pan hardcore song with classical art song vocals. I originally wrote it for a film that was never made but was imagined by a classmate of mine at Temple University in Philadelphia in 2015. The character Vincent is an archetype of a smug, inconsiderate jerk most of us occasionally come across, try as we might to avoid them. Vincent is not an absolute scoundrel, but he is wack enough to rightly deserve the average person’s indignant eye-roll," says David Roush.

"Ultimately, the narrator resolves to overthrow Vincent’s jerkface’itude in the final refrain: “I’ll destroy your equipment with my voice!” If you have a medium-tier opponent in your life whom you would like to rid yourself of somehow, you can sing this line to yourself. Hopefully your Vincent will buzz off and go kick rocks!"

'Vincent' can be found on digital music platforms, includingSpotifyApple Music, YouTube Music and Bandcamp.  Tour tickets are available online

Green Carnation Release New Video for Aching Ballad “Loneliness Untold, Loneliness Unfold”

Now, as they prepare to turn the page to the bold and resounding final chapter of A Dark Poem, Green Carnation are releasing a new video for the most raw and aching ballad from Part II. In a rare appearance, the band’s bassist and primary lyricist Stein Roger Sordal steps in front of the mic on “Loneliness Untold, Loneliness Unfold” with hopes of reaching a long-lost friend.

“Obviously, this song is about loneliness, but more specifically, it’s about watching a very good and close friend gradually shut himself off from the rest of the world”, Sordal says. “It’s about sitting on the sidelines, watching it happen and not being able to do anything about it”.

Watch the video for “Loneliness Untold, Loneliness Unfold” Below:

A Dark Poem, Part II: Sanguis is out now on Season of Mist.

After reaching crushing new highs during its grand and gloomy opener, A Dark Poem, Part II: Sanguis reveals Green Carnation at their deepest, darkest and most vulnerable depths. Two decades have past since bassist and lyricist Stein Roger Sordal last took the lead on vocals, but he alone carries the burden of “Loneliness Untold, Loneliness Unfold”. Accompanied by little more than a somber guitar melody that unwinds like the slow passage of time, he delivers one of the most chilling ballads that the prog bards have ever penned. “Do you want to die?” he asks a reclusive friend. That his voice doesn’t waver in posing the question confirms his fear of already knowing the answer.

“The songs on Part II come as they are, with no filter”, Sordal says. “I needed to set these stories free and let them out”.

The video for “Loneliness Untold, Loneliness Unfold” was directed and edited by Rikard Amodei.

Catch Green Carnation during their upcoming hometown shows and European summer festival dates.

Part II introduces more peaks and valleys into the overarching narrative of A Dark Poem, but nowhere does the album’s bleeding-heart core shine through more achingly than its closing ballad. Graced by Ingrid Ose’s soothing flute, “Lunar Tale” positively sparkles, even as it casts a rather grim beacon into the future. “The end justifies the means, you’ll see”, Nordhus sings with eerily quiet confidence. As the piano seeps beneath the moonlight, Sanguisleaves fans hanging in suspense over where this trilogy will end.

Omen//Skye Release New Single + Video "Cry the White Lie"

Maryland Modern Metalcore Band Unleashes Cinematic New Anthem Exploring Self-Deception and Accountability

Maryland-based metalcore outfit Omen//Skye have released their powerful new single and music video, “Cry the White Lie.” Blending crushing heaviness, cinematic atmosphere, and emotionally driven songwriting, the track showcases the band’s signature balance of intricate riffs, melodic hooks, and raw intensity.

“Cry the White Lie” explores the tension between self-deception and accountability, diving into the quiet lies people tell themselves to justify who they’ve become, the reality of the world around them, and the inevitable breaking point where those illusions begin to collapse.

“Crying out against the lies we're told day after day. No longer will we remain complacent,” the band shares about the track.

Drawing influence from both classic and modern metalcore while maintaining a distinct identity of their own, Omen//Skye continue building momentum through high-impact live performances and a growing catalog of emotionally charged releases. “Cry the White Lie” further cements the band’s ability to fuse cinematic soundscapes with aggressive, hook-driven songwriting that resonates long after the song ends.

Mixed and mastered by Drew Licurgo and Six:Eight Audio, the single delivers a polished yet punishing sound that highlights the band’s dynamic approach to modern heavy music. The release is distributed via Arson Theory and managed by Core Collective Talent Agency.

Future Palace Announce New Album "Resurgence" + Share "Resurge" Video

Germany's FUTURE PALACE are thrilled to announce their forthcoming fourth album RESURGENCE. It arrives July 31 via Century Media. Pre-order it here

The album is a powerful exploration of isolation, inner conflict, and the struggle to rebuild oneself. Blending post-hardcore intensity with cinematic electronics, soaring melodies, and crushing breakdowns, the Berlin trio dives deep into themes of depression, doubt, and emotional transformation.

Ultimately, Resurgence captures the fragile moment where despair slowly turns into strength — and is proof of the redemptive power of music.

Alongside the album announcement, the band invites fans and listeners to dive deep into their world with the video for the new single "RESURGE." Watch it Below.

The track finds the band playing with nu metal textures and buzzsaw riffs, retaining their ear worm hooks and signature sonic swells.
Vocalist Maria Lessing displays her multi-layered vocals talents, effortlessly shifting from scaled-the-bowels-of-hell screams to stunningly sweet melodic bursts.

"Musically, 'Resurge' felt very nu metal right from the start when writing it," says guitarist Manuel Kohlert." So you can call it another experiment since we didn't do that kind of music yet. Sidenote: When writing the instrumental I had a Japanese video game in mind, which I really liked as a kid, the soundtrack was also phenomenal. It is called 'Solatorobo.'"

Lessing weighs in, saying, "This song is about doubting everything and every decision you’ve made so far in your life. Thinking about what it would be like if you would completely restart and be a totally different person — but also sacrifice everything and everyone you have in your life currently. It’s supposed to convey deep despair and self-doubt. What would life be like, if you were reborn today?"

She furthers, "It also picks up the music video story from our previous release 'Deep Blue.' At the end of the video, the crew of the submarine gets lost in the ocean, after the submarine sank. Their old friend, the siren, which attacked them because of a misunderstanding, welcomes them again in a new world, but the submarine crew has to sacrifice their human form to survive and become a new creature."

Lessing finishes, "Musically, this song a strong nu metal energy, which has a nostalgic, but also modern feeling to it. It's supposed to catch you but also portray the despair of the message, which I find the chorus represents best."

Future Palace will spend the bulk of 2026 touring, with festival appearances and a fall tour on deck. All dates are below, including a return to the U.S. to appear at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville in September.

The Toxhards Return With A Funk Song About Depression "ALLIGATOR CROCODILE"

Theatrical alt-rock oddities, The Toxhards, have today released their latest track, "ALLIGATOR CROCODILE", a wickedly catchy single revolving around existential dread and funky basslines, out now via Hopeless Records. Arriving as their first track since the release of their ambitious concept record, "Your Neighborhood", this latest single is a joyful gut-punch that proves that The Toxhards can make you dance and devastate you at the same time. Fans can listen to "ALLIGATOR CROCODILE" HERE.

Filmed at their most recent sold-out Denver show, the music video for "ALLIGATOR CROCODILE" opens with the band tearing through the venue before the whole room becomes a collective fever dream. Gloriously unhinged and sing-along ready, this new video encapsulates The Toxhards live experience, a rare moment where a room full of strangers walk out as lifelong friends. Fans can watch the brand new video Below.

With the kind of disarming honesty that make The Toxhards so hard to look away from, Alan Powers pulls the curtain on how "ALLIGATOR CROCODILE" came to light:

"“ALLIGATOR CROCODILE” is a danceable suicide note.

During a nasty battle with depression during our fall tour of 2025, I had this overwhelming feeling of phoniness; that every happy fan I met at our shows would actually hate me if they got to truly know me, that all my friends were just around me as a result of a sunk-cost fallacy. These feelings stemmed from unresolved traumatic events from several years ago. I wrote these confessions into a small notebook while on tour, and they somehow became the backbone of the song’s lyrics.

Coming off the ambitious concept album that was Your Neighborhood, we wanted to write something fun and upbeat, and this song went through a lot of iterations before we settled on the dancy, dare I say FUNKY (suburban, butter-and-salt-less funk?) Talking-Heads-inspired groove throughout the song. It’s an insane amalgamation of this joy we felt making the song, married with the most vulnerable lyrics I’ve ever written."

Armed with songs about hog gods, suburbia-induced panic, and love stories that fray at the edges, The Toxhards are continuing their Get Destructive Tour like a thirty-seven stop live wire experiment in how far they can push a rock show before it morphs into a full-blown cathartic meltdown with a mosh pit. Each night promises a slightly different strain of chaos, where the band will be swapping instruments, derailing songs into choreographed (and unchoreographed) bits, and crowd interaction that blurs the line between show and shared hallucination. Fans can purchase tickets on Friday HERE.

What started as a casual hobby project among college friends has since grown into one of alternative rock's most distinctive cult followings. The Toxhards built their audience in the modern way, a breakout TikTok moment behind their single, "How Lucky Am I?" that snowballed into a string of increasingly unhinged fan favorites. First, "Doombop", a genre-blending blast of existential noise that cemented the band's reputation for delightful chaos. Then, "Ængus, The Prize-Winning Hog", a song about a hog deity that somehow racked up over 7 million views across social media and even caught the attention of Hopeless Records, who signed the band in 2023.

Last year saw the release of their debut full-length concept album, "Your Neighborhood", a record that follows a young man's spiral through heartbreak, grief, isolation, and a brush with death that forces an uncomfortable reckoning. Earning widespread praise from Knotfest and The Needle Drop for the band's songwriting ambition, melodic instincts, and insane live presence, "Your Neighborhood" made it clear that The Toxhards are a band with something for everyone and everything for someone.

Stay tuned for more news from The Toxhards soon.

Blood Command Drop Summer Anthem "Flowers To A Knife Fight"

With "Flowers To A Knife Fight," Norwegian deathpop punks Blood Commandturn betrayal, disappointment and emotional exhaustion into a blazing modern punk anthem built for sweaty clubs and massive festival singalongs alike.

Fueled by explosive energy, razor sharp hooks and the band’s unmistakable blend of punk urgency, pop sensibility and chaotic heaviness, the track captures the moment where heartbreak transforms into defiance. Driven by the instantly memorable refrain "I'm never gonna be that dumb," "Flowers To A Knife Fight" channels the frustration of broken trust and fading idols into a massive shout along chorus impossible to shake.

Lyrics about stolen light, empty apologies and losing faith in the people once held closest give the song an emotional rawness beneath its infectious energy. Rather than sinking into bitterness, Blood Command turn personal disappointment into something empowering, loud and unapologetically alive. Bursting with punchy riffs, relentless momentum and the band's signature deathpop chaos, the single balances aggression and melody with effortless confidence.

The contrast between emotionally cutting lyrics and euphoric summer anthem energy gives "Flowers To A Knife Fight" its unique intensity, sounding equally cathartic and celebratory from start to finish. Since forming in 2008, Blood Command have built a cult following through their fearless genre bending sound, acclaimed live performances and relentless touring alongside artists such as Refused, Kvelertak ,and Biffy Clyro. With Kerrang! acclaim and multiple Spellemann nominations under their belt, the band continue to push punk into bold new territory. "Flowers To A Knife Fight" is another explosive reminder why Blood Command remain one of the most exciting and unpredictable forces in modern alternative music.

Hopsydian Unveil New Single "ELYSIUM"

Hopsydian push emotional extremity and crushing heaviness to new heights with their latest single "ELYSIUM," a dark and cinematic descent into fractured identity, spiritual abandonment and the violent pursuit of transcendence.

Combining relentless modern metalcore aggression with sacred choir elements, towering atmosphere and beatdown loaded riffs, the track balances brutality and beauty with unsettling intensity. Driven by themes of inner ruin, corrupted faith and self deification, "ELYSIUM" explores the emotional conflict between guilt and empowerment.

Lyrics like "Every scar is a vow I survived" and "There's grace in sin" paint a portrait of someone shaped by pain, no longer searching for salvation but becoming something terrifyingly divine in the process. The song constantly shifts between whispered confession and explosive defiance, mirroring the psychological collapse unfolding beneath its massive production. Haunting choirs echo like fractured prayers throughout the track, colliding with crushing breakdowns and punishing drums that amplify the tension between sin and transcendence. As the song builds toward its radiant and emotionally overwhelming chorus, Hopsydian create a sound that feels both apocalyptic and euphoric, equal parts spiritual reckoning and violent rebirth.

With "ELYSIUM", Hopsydian showcase a bold modern approach to metalcore that merges cinematic atmosphere, raw emotional weight and unrelenting heaviness into something immersive and devastating. Dark, aggressive and impossible to ignore, the single positions the band as one of the genre’s most exciting emerging forces.

HOPSYDIAN LIVE:

8/15 — Dinkelsbühl, DE — Summer Breeze Open Air

Savage Hands Push The Pressure To The Surface On "Feel Me"

Maryland's unflinching alt-metal catalysts, Savage Hands, return with their brand new single, "Feel Me", out now via Oxide Music. The track draws a visceral perspective of anxiety itself, one that's taunting, possessive, and completely certain it's already won. Fans can listen to "Feel Me" Below.

Lyrically, "Feel Me" personifies the anxiety itself in an unsettling, predatory framing that tackles the subject of an anxious episode. Aggressive and almost suffocating, Savage Hands tap into the new single with more menace than sympathy, refusing to offer resolution, and amplifying the invasive grip of a mind under siege.

Additionally, this summer, Savage Hands will be embarking on The Art Of Love And Power Tour alongside Of Virtue for one of the most unmissable heavy tours of the year. The tour will see both bands trading headlining slots each night, giving fans two high caliber sets under one roof. Tickets are available for purchase HERE.

Exploring the darker lens of "Feel Me", vocalist Mike Garrow shares:

"We really wanted to try and create a song where you almost feel like you’re in a different world, unique to the feeling of anxiety. Despite where you are or who is around… it can be something so dark and engulf every bit of your sense of well being. This song taps into your consciousness and takes you away from all the noise."

Guided early on by multi-platinum producers Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Sleeping With Sirens, etc) and Lee Rouse (The Funeral Portrait, Teddy Swims, etc), Savage Hands have sharpened their craft into a volatile blend of ominous atmosphere, sledgehammer riffs, and skyscraping choruses. A hybrid sound that dissolves the lines between post-hardcore, metalcore, and alternative rock, all while hitting with precision and purpose.

Propelled by the success of previous singles, "Demon", "Washed Away", and "Halo", the quintet have been in constant forward motion since their 2018 debut, amassing over 55 million streams along the way. From steely Maryland roots to festival stages, Savage Hands' relentless drive has shaped a previous that thrives on the collision of chaos and catharsis bleeding into one another. With their latest releases, "POWER", "Trust Issues", "Reload Repeat", and "Trace Erase", Savage Hands are opening the door to a new chapter, one that's heavier, sharper and more unapologetic than anything that's come before.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Savage Hands news coming very soon.

ABOUT SAVAGE HANDS

After their breakout tracks “Demon”, “Washed Away”, and “Love No More”; Savage Handscemented themselves as leaders in a new, modern rock sound. The band’s ability to balance heavy instrumentation with memorable hooks and raw vocal delivery catapulted their 2020 album “The Truth In Your Eyes” beyond 45 million streams, underscoring the band’s growing global reach. Beyond streaming, Savage Hands dropped two limited vinyl variants which immediately sold out due to large demand.

Like many artists, the global pandemic foiled and unwound plans that were years in the making for Savage Hands. Despite this, the band remained active in touring, supporting acts like Magnolia Park, Wage War, and While She Sleeps; as well as co-headlining with fellow up-and-comers Archers. Savage Hands made their debut DWP festival appearance at Louder Than Life in 2025, marking the Bourbon stage’s largest crowd of the day.

Savage Hands parted ways with Sharptone Records in 2025 and promptly began working on assembling a new album. Joining forces with Oxide Records, the band is preparing to launch a non-stop wave of campaigns starting May 2026.

HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD To Co-Headline Taste Of Chaos 2026; Drop New Single "Feels Like Home"

Hollywood Undead return today with brand new single “Feels Like Home,” out now via Sumerian Records. The track finds the multi-platinum rap-rock powerhouse turning pain into belonging, delivering a bruised, melodic anthem for anyone who has grown too familiar with the weight they have been carrying. Stream “Feels Like Home” now HERE and watch the accompanying lyric video Below.

The release arrives alongside the announcement that Hollywood Undead will co-headline the return of the Taste of Chaos tour this fall with In This Moment and special guests I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue. Ticketing info and full routing below.

Feels Like Home” delivers the unique brand of emotional gravity that could only come from Hollywood Undead. The track captures the strange comfort of survival when darkness becomes routine, turning isolation into something communal, cathartic, and unmistakably Undead. Speaking on the release, Hollywood Undead share:

““Feels Like Home” is about getting used to the things that are slowly breaking you. It’s a song for the broken, a reminder that they’re not alone and that with us, they’re right at home.”

Feels Like Home” follows the band’s recent run of single releases since signing with Sumerian Records, including “Hollywood Forever,” “SAVIOR,” “1x1,” and “All My Friends” feat. Jeris Johnson. Together, the tracks have marked a renewed chapter for Hollywood Undead, one that has reintroduced their iconic masks, sharpened the emotional and sonic extremes of their creative identity, and carried the band into one of the most successful stretches of their career.

Hollywood Forever,” the band’s October 2024 Sumerian Records debut, set the tone for this era, cracking 20.3 million cross-platform streams and peaking at #18 at Active Rock radio. “SAVIOR” followed in June 2025, pulling the band in a darker, more emotionally exposed direction, before “1x1” arrived in March 2026 with a sample of Slayer’s legendary “Raining Blood” riff and the sound of a band still dominating a genre, almost two decades into their career. Most recently, “All My Friends” feat. Jeris Johnson pushed Hollywood Undead into a darker, more theatrical lane.

Hollywood Undead continue a major year of live activity across North America, the UK, and Europe. Following their appearance at Welcome To Rockville earlier this month, the band heads overseas for a full summer run that includes Rock Im Park, Rock Am Ring, Download, Nova Rock, Graspop Metal Meeting, Jera On Air, Vainstream, and select headline dates across Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and beyond. They will return to North America later this summer for Inkcarceration Festival, Rock Fest, Les Grandes Fêtes TELUS, Rock La Cauze, Rocklahoma, and the newly announced return of the Taste of Chaos Tour that they will co-headline with In This Moment.

The Taste Of Chaos 2026 tour will begin on September 22nd in Charlotte, NC and will hit a further 21 cities across the US before culminating in Anaheim, CA on October 26th. Artist pre-sales and VIP packages begin at 10am local on Monday, June 1st, with venue pre-sales beginning at 10am local on Tuesday, June 2nd, and general on sale beginning at 10am local on Wednesday, June 3rd.
