MAYHEM

Mayhem stands as one of the most legendary and influential bands in Norwegian music history. Since their formation in 1984, they have been a driving force in the development of the Norwegian black metal scene – a movement that would later gain worldwide recognition and inspire countless bands. Through controversies and dramatic events including suicide and murder, the band’s reputation and mythology grew beyond imagination. Yet Mayhem still carry the banner high, continuing to push forward despite every setback. Every Mayhem concert is a unique experience – and the band is ready to make Inferno Metal Festival 2026 something truly special.

PRIMORDIAL

Formed back in 1991, Primordial grew throughout the nineties to become Ireland’s most renowned black metal band. Drawing inspiration from Celtic folk music, they created a sound that stood apart from everything else in the genre. Over their long career, the band has released ten albums – the latest, the masterpiece “How It Ends” (2023). Primordial have not played in Oslo since 2017, also at Inferno Metal Festival, so it is with great pleasure that we welcome them back to the capital.

FUNERAL

Funeral is Norway’s leading death doom metal band, formed back in 1991. Alongside contemporaries like My Dying Bride and Anathema, they broke through with their heavy, distinctive sound and a tempo so slow it makes a 95-year-old grandmother seem fast. Thus, funeral doom metal was born. Over the years, the band has explored many directions and drawn inspiration from diverse sources, but founder Anders Eek has always steered the ship steadily through adversity. Last year they released their latest album, “Gospel of Bones”, featuring baritone opera singer Eirik Krokfjord – an album that received glowing reviews. Funeral rarely perform live, but after their memorable Inferno appearance in 2006, it’s finally time for their long-awaited return.

MÚR

With a sound that defies generic labels and a vision that stretches the limits of creativity, Múr are the latest descendants from Iceland’s volcanic underground. The emerging quintet are forging a new era of dark, atmospheric and boundary shattering metal. With progressive sensibilities that harken to the Devin Townsend Project and mid-era Opeth, a talent to cohesively juxtapose atmospheric textures with polished technicality a la Neurosis and Gojira, and a focus on jazz study among the fresh-faced instrumentalists, Múr is already proving itself to be a reckoning force.

NITE

From San Francisco, USA comes Nite – a band delivering blackened heavy metal. Rooted in NWOBHM and inspired by black metal, they have forged their own soundscape – one unlike anything else. Since their formation in 2018, the band has released three albums, the latest being the critically acclaimed “Cult of the Serpent Sun”, which arrived earlier this year. Members of Nite have also played in bands such as Serpents of Dawn, Dawnbringer, Satan’s Wrath, and Wild Hunt. This will be Nite’s very first performance in Norway.

HIEROPHANT

Hailing from Italy, Hierophant have been active since 2009. The band’s roots lie in black metal, with early influences from sludge and hardcore, before evolving in recent years into a more brutal death metal-inspired sound. Whatever the direction, Hierophant have consistently delivered music of high quality – and that won’t change when they play Inferno Metal Festival for the very first time.

SOVEREIGN

Formed in Oslo in 2018, Sovereign spew out a venomous blend of death and thrash – no gimmicks, no polish. Just crushing riffs, barbaric speed, and a war cry against the glossy decay of modern metal. This is a ritual of raw power and precision. Known for their intense live performances – where deadly precision meets pure aggression – and after successful tours along the U.S. East Coast and across Europe, Sovereign have firmly established themselves as a band to watch.

BLODKNOKE

Blodknoke play brutal crust punk with clear traces of black metal. Expect chaos, filth, and ferocity when the band take the stage. Get ready for a sweaty, high-energy show that may include future classics such as “Heller halshugd enn halvsugd” (“Rather Be Beheaded Than Half-Sucked”), “Sørgporno” (“Grief Porn”), and “Hore med hagle” (“Whore With a Shotgun”).

CAVERN DEEP

From Sweden comes doom metal band Cavern Deep. Since their formation in 2019, they have released three albums of impressive quality. Their latest release, “Part III – The Bodiless”, arrived earlier this year to widespread acclaim. With their unique blend of heaviness and melancholy, Cavern Deep have established themselves as a band to keep a close eye on in the years ahead.

AUTOMATON

Automaton is a psychedelic doom/post-black metal band formed in 2012 in Athens, Greece. They combine down-tuned riffs, psychedelic layers, and black metal elements into their own distinctive and heavy sound. So far, the band has released two albums: “Echoes of Mount Ida” (2014) and “Talos” (2018). Their music is described as dark and intense, with a cinematic quality and relentless drive. After a successful performance at Inferno Metal Festival 2024, we’re thrilled to welcome Automaton back.

HEVN III

From the pitch-black underground of Oslo comes Hevn III, who released their self-titled debut album last year. If you think black metal has become too polished and pompous, Hevn III is the band you’ve been looking for. Here you’ll find lo-fi black metal filled with chaos, primitive aggression, and glacial coldness. Drawing inspiration from William Blake, Nietzsche, and Crowley, Hevn III have created a cohesive work unlike anything heard since the early nineties.

VOIDSPIRE

Voidspire is a new death metal band from Oslo. Featuring members from Horrifier, Ruun, Blodkarsk, and Celestial Scourge, it’s clear this is a group who know exactly what they’re doing. Their debut EP is set for release later this year, and all signs point to a record well worth paying attention to.

The iconic Inferno Metal Festival started in 2001 and is the longest running metal festival in

Norway and one of the most important extreme metal festivals in the world. We are very proud

of this position and we will continue fronting Norwegian metal and bringing bands from all over

the world to Norway. Inferno Metal Festival is being held four days at Rockefeller Music Halls’

two stages Rockefeller and John Dee as well as many smaller clubs around Oslo. The festival takes place during Easter in Norway when not a lot of other stuff is happening in Oslo. The festival are usually sold out and more than fifty percent of the audience are from outside of Norway. The ticket sales are from all over the world including China, Australia, Chile, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, USA, Columbia, Argentina and many more.

CONJURER - Release Third Album "Unself"

British metal heavyweights CONJURER today release their incredible third album, Unself, via Nuclear Blast Records. In celebration of the day, the quartet have also revealed the video for focus track 'All Apart'.

Watch the video for 'All Apart' below;

Order Unself here:
https://conjurer.bfan.link/unself

CONJURER's co-vocalist and guitarist Dani Nightingale states: "I approached this song with the idea in mind of the first bricks that make up the metaphorical wall someone might put (or find) between them and their surroundings, the world they inhabit, both physical and metaphysical. For many people in a similar or comparable position to mine, those initial instances of disassociation and alienation begin at school, when one is first integrated into a social and educational environment with their peers and those who watch over them.

"I can’t describe what it’s like to be vilified for behaviours and traits that are just normal and natural to you, but because no-one understands you – not even yourself – you’re forced to adhere to things you don’t understand and become something you’re not."

CONJURER will be touring Unself across the UK and Europe in November. UK dates will be supported by Pijn and Death Goals.
Ticket link: linktr.ee/conjureruk
Full dates can be found at https://www.conjureruk.com/live

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

INDUCTION Release Title Track And Video "Love Kills" From Upcoming Studio Album 'Love Kills!'

Power metal visionaries INDUCTION continue their unstoppable rise with the release of the electrifying title track and video “Love Kills”, taken from their forthcoming studio album Love Kills!, due out February 6, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Feel the surge: “Love Kills” is a fierce anthem pulsing with raw emotion and unstoppable energy. The track captures both the pain and power of love’s downfall, celebrating the resilience that endures even after the flame seems to die. With soaring vocals, thunderous riffs, and cinematic emotion, “Love Kills” reminds us that even in the darkest moments, love’s light never truly fades.

Guitarist and Songwriter Tim Kanoa Hansen shares:
“‘Love Kills... but it’s never gonna die.’ This simple motto inspired most of Induction’s upcoming third album, which is why it became the title track. It’s deeply personal, full of raw emotion — but it also delivers a message of strength: life always goes on, and we are the masters of our own fate. No matter how dark the days, love will always return. As C. Joybell once wrote, ‘Love, I’m convinced, is found in the darkness. It’s the candle in the night.’”

“Second Wind is about honoring the moments when you think you’re finished — and realizing you’ve only just begun,” Alexandra shares.

Produced by Andrew DeRobert with the Billboard-charting artist co-writing all but two tracks, Second Wind marks a triumphant evolution — both sonically and spiritually. Breathing new life into her story, Second Wind is a revival, hitting like a spark in the dark - magnetic and glowing with possibility. Through shimmering synths, soulful vocals, and razor-sharp lyricism, the fierce new project invites listeners into a deeply personal journey of renaissance, vulnerability, and the power of starting over stronger.

Woven with golden honesty and infused with her timeless vocals, critics are already buzzing over the Pandora 2025 “Artist to Watch: Country” and CMT 2025 Next Women of Country member. With over 8.7M social media followers, her brilliant storytelling is "custom-made for the country music genre" (People).

Featuring “Straight For The Heart” that’s impacting country radio November 10, the magnetic single has already amassed over 1.6M on-demand streams and earned placement on the hottest DSP playlists including New Boots (Spotify) + Breakthrough, Country (Amazon Music) + New Country (Pandora) + Country's New Crop (YouTube Music).

The project also includes fan-favorites “Feminine Energy” and “What He Does” that Entertainment Focus called “a bold, feisty new banger” and “one of the most moving tracks of her career.” The album also includes “The Last” that MusicRow praised as “a delightful listening experience,” and “Cupid’s A Cowgirl” that Us Weekly boasted as “a raucous take on the single life.” Furthermore, “What He Does” claimed the top spot on the iTunes Country chart upon release, beating out several household names, and climbed to Top 5 All Genre.

Now on her third headlining tour of the year — following a high-profile summer run with Brad Paisley — Second Wind: The Tour finds Alexandra at her most powerful, continuing to captivate audiences and pack out venues across the country through November, before she returns to the Grand Ole Opry on December 12.

VITRIOL to Embark on North American Headliner + EU Tour, Announces New Band Lineup

Death metal battalion VITRIOL will be embarking on a full North American headliner with support from Unmerciful and Weeping Death! The extensive trek kicks off on November 6 in Santa Cruz, CA and will make its way through the continent until the final stop in VITRIOL's hometown of Portland, OR on December 6. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are available HERE.

VITRIOL will then dominate Europe in support of BÖLZER along with THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, MISÞYRMING + TREPANERINGSRITUALEN next year! The trek kicks off on February 20 in Berlin (DE). Tickets can be found HERE.

In addition, VITRIOL is now pleased to announce an all new powerhouse lineup! Founding member, guitarist, and vocalist Kyle Rasmussen is now joined by guitarist Keith Merrow (Merrow, Demisery), bassist Brett Leier (Gargoyl, Varthagus), and drummer Andy Vincenzetti (Morgue Defilement, Imperial Crystalline Entombment).

Rasmussen previously stated on the new changes,

"We have two large developments to share. Firstly, we are deeply saddened to announce that Matt Kilner has chosen to step away from Vitriol. While I imagine that most people's first instinct is to ask why, Matt's reasoning is his own, and we want to afford him the respect of not speaking on his behalf. Suffice it to say, we are pained to see him go.

"In more triumphant news, we have welcomed Brett Leier into the fold on bass and accompanying vocals. Brett is a wildly talented instrumentalist with a very potent creative mind. He also looks like he'd be camped out in a Serbian gas station bathroom with chicken wire pulled tight, which I think is a pretty sweet vibe. Brett is best known for his work in Gargoyl alongside fellow mega-shredders. Brett will be joining Keith Merrow and I on our upcoming, soon-to-be announced tour where we will re emerge as a four piece. We look forward to seeing what the future will bring. We will provide more information on the drummer situation soon enough.

VITRIOL is touring in support of their critically-acclaimed 2024 album, 'Suffer & Become,' which can be streamed HERE.

New Music is here as JON BABIN Ignites a New Era with Three Explosive Singles — “Bad Omen,” “Never Gonna Be The Same,” and “I’d Follow”

Chicago’s own JON BABIN has kicked open the doors of a new creative chapter with the release of three powerhouse singles — “Bad Omen,” “Never Gonna Be The Same,” and “I’d Follow.” Each track captures a different pulse of Babin’s evolving sound: dark, cinematic, and unapologetically human.

Blending the grit of alternative rock with the emotional gravity of modern pop, Babin continues to carve out a lane entirely his own.

"BAD OMEN"

is for anyone who is escaping a toxic situation. You do not have to ward off horrors of your life alone. This song is dreary, but the melody is infectious. Everyone will chant the lyrics

together as one!

"NEVER GONNA BE THE SAME"

is a beat that will have you dancing in your heels, laughing in your feels, and starting over.

MICHAEL MONROE Announces New Studio Album OUTERSTELLAR Set For Release February 20: New Single "Rockin' Horse"

Surprises are rare and wonderful. When music decides to just show up and strut and rock and roll and stomp with swagger, swing and raw energy all over you, that’s the rarest surprise and Michael Monroe does not disappoint with his brand new studio album, Outerstellar, set for release via

Silver Lining Music on February 20th 2026.

The first video and single taken from Outerstellar,

‘Rockin’ Horse’ is out now and can be watched/streamed

below – video by Leigh Brooks.

“Rockin’ Horse is a cool, rockin’ song that we made a great fun video for with the fantastic director Leigh Brooks,” comments Michael Monroe. “We got into different characters on the so called ‘Waking Up With Michael Monroe’ TV morning show with me as the host.

And it’s the first time ever you can see me without make up(!). Great fun and good times. Hope you enjoy it!”

What ‘genre’ is Michael Monroe?’ Oh, go and throw yourself back into the shoebox you restrict yourself to if you need a genre… How about ‘sweet smelling leathery sweat wrapped in one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll voices?’ How about ‘harmonies and vibes swimming in silk scarves and lounging on a beaten sofa in leather pants, with the AM hours alive and the melodies so, so intoxicating?’ And how about ‘attitude! Which screams carefree not carelessness, confidence not arrogance, a cocksure sense of

self-bathed in the sheer joy of playing the religious experience of real rock ‘n’ roll.’

From loud crashing guitars to harmonicas, to gorgeous acoustic moments, you’ll sing, you’ll dance, you’ll shiver, you’ll shake, and you’ll smell this wonderful exhilarating record in all its weathered biker jacket incense-coated glory and you’ll also realize that whatever the hell is going on in the world right now, when you put this album on, it’s an instant escape to carefree days and an emancipation from worries, fears and woes.

It is EXACTLY what rock ‘n’ roll in its truest sense is meant to be, and Michael Monroe is handing you permission to get lost in the love of it. In fact, just stop reading this, get off your ‘Rockin’ Horse’ and go see Michael Monroe on tour at your first opportunity! In support of the release of Outerstellar, Michael Monroe and band will embark on a UK co-headline tour with Buckcherry, kicking

off in Southampton on February 24th. For a full list of upcoming shows and tickets visit: michaelmonroe.com – more dates to be announced.

Outerstellar will be available on Limited Edition 12” White Viny, 12” Turquoise Vinyl, 12” Black Vinyl, CD Digipak, Digital Download, Streaming and special D2C bundles. Available to pre-order now at this location

George Strait Returns to Stadium Stage with Clemson Performance in 2026

George Strait announces his return to the stadium stage with a newly added performance at Clemson, South Carolina’s Memorial Stadium (known as “Death Valley”) for one night only, in-the-round on Saturday, May 2, 2026, joined by Cody Johnson and Wyatt Flores.

This historic night will mark the first concert at Memorial Stadium since 1999 — which was also headlined by George Strait. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening of timeless hits and new favorites performed center stage, in the round. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster.com at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Strait, who performs for over two hours yet is a man of few words, simply shares, “Going back to Death Valley for the first time in more than 25 years feels pretty special. Can’t wait to see you, Clemson!”

In 2024, Strait only played a handful of one-off stadium shows including A&M’s Kyle Field playing one of the largest single ticketed concerts in U.S. history with 110,905 fans in attendance for George Strait: The King at Kyle Field. He followed that record-breaking performance with only five live shows in 2025 with stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough and Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.

Of his stop at SoFi Stadium this summer Variety noted, “fans would maintain that the privilege of still having him kicking around is all theirs” while reflecting on what Strait does best, “pick great songs, sing even better and exude a quiet, uncocky confidence that would make anyone feel patriotic about country as a genre.”

The Boston Globe said of his stop at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium this year, “Strait skipped the pyrotechnics and let his voice do the heavy lifting,” making it easy to see why Pollstar once opined, “Strait remains the most worthy inheritor of Merle Haggard or Willie Nelson’s mantle of country icon through the meaningful fluidity with which he moves through country’s various sub-strains with the same ease and enjoyment that marked both men’s Country Music Hall of Fame careers.”

In addition to this upcoming live performance at Clemson, Strait will be celebrated at the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors this December, recognizing his lifetime of contributions to American culture through the performing arts. Early next year, he will also be inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame, paying tribute to his enduring impact as both a performer and songwriter whose influence has shaped generations of country music.

It’s been 15 years since The New York Times praised Strait as “a country superstar in complete command of his gift,” and with the arrival of his 31st studio album for MCA last year, Cowboys And Dreamers, that statement rings just as true. Filled with classic country honky-tonkers about drinkin’ and not thinkin’ as well as sad songs and ballads about loss and cheatin’, listen to the album Cowboys & Indians Magazine notes is “a cornucopia of trad-country-arrangement beauty,” HERE.

The follow-up to Honky Tonk Time Machine, Strait’s 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album, Cowboys And Dreamers was named “album of the week” by Associated Press, and features 13 new songs, including “Three Drinks Behind,” “MIA Down in MIA,” “The Little Things,” “Honky Tonk Hall Of Fame” featuring Chris Stapleton and Strait’s rendition of Waylon Jennings’ “Waymore’s Blues” which all have made appearances in his live set.

TRIBAL GAZE RELEASE NEW ALBUM, 'INVEIGHING BRILLIANCE

Texas death metal hellions TRIBAL GAZE have released their eagerly awaited sophomore album, Inveighing Brilliance, today with Nuclear Blast Records.

Since their introduction just four years ago, the five-piece has quickly slayed listeners and audiences around the world with their signature, modern twist on brutal old-school death that has propelled the band to pack leaders in their scene. Armed with an unbridled onslaught of riffs, the band cuts through the crowd with an intense, unrelenting new album of disorder, featuring furious stand out tracks like “To The Spoils of Faith” and “Beyond Recognition.”

Commenting on the record’s release, guitarist Quintin Stauts says:

This album represents a different era for us. The world really seems like a different place than when the last record came out. This one focuses less on creative fictional story telling and more on truly feeling violent. We felt it was appropriate to take a more radical approach to riff and lyric writing.

Along with the record’s release, TRIBAL GAZE has debuted a new visualizer for another one of their blistering heavy tracks “The Irreversible Sequence.” Watch it below.

Adding about the track, Stauts says:

I probably listen to this song the most because its short and it just has parts that make me rewind it even though it’s our song and we’ve heard it a million times. The heavy parts in this song are the perfect representatives of the guitar tone our producer Taylor Young helped us achieve.

TRIBAL GAZE will tour North America in mid-November in support of Inveighing Brilliance this fall with CATTLE DECAPITATION, ABORTED and FROZEN SOUL. Tickets are available HERE.

About TRIBAL GAZE:

Arising from the scorched earth of Texas, Tribal Gaze return with “Inveighing Brilliance”, a death metal monolith shaped by ancient violence and unforgiving truth. Recently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, the band conjures visions of primal wrath and nihilistic clarity—a sound rooted in the rawness of old-school death metal but sharpened with modern intent. From their name, inspired by unseen forces watching from deep forests, to the crushing weight of their riffs, Tribal Gaze channels something ancient, unknown, and violently present.

“Inveighing Brilliance” is a meditation on the illusion of beauty in nature and existence, and how it pertains to both Mother Nature, and our wretched, human society. Even in moments of light, brutality lurks—eggs are stolen from nests, flesh is torn for survival. This album dissects this duality, revealing the suffering embedded in every living moment. With digital artwork by Dom Pabon (Final Resting Place) that evokes sci-fi decay and meditations of ancient ruin, the album looks and sounds like a lost realm where reality fractures under the pressure of its own contradictions.

Tracks like “Beyond Recognition” and “To the Spoils of Faith” expand on these apocalyptic themes. The former imagines an outside force annihilating humanity in judgment of its arrogance, built on some of the band’s most punishing riffs to date—swinging between chaos, groove, and sheer obliteration. The latter churns with mechanized fury and contempt for blind belief, echoing Meshuggah-like timing with lyrics that drag faith to its own ironic hell. Across the record, Tribal Gaze capture the violence of thought and sound in equal measure—uncompromising and vividly self-aware.

Their ascent to Nuclear Blast was anything but formulaic. After leveling stages on tour with Frozen Soul, the band caught the attention of legendary A&R Monte Conner, who waited outside a venue in New York just to share his admiration. That moment solidified a new chapter for Tribal Gaze—a label that values creative freedom and pushes bands to expand without dilution. With “Inveighing Brilliance”, they’ve done just that: stripped away illusion, stared into the abyss, and made it echo.

Abysmal Dawn Return with "Cradle of Affliction"

While they hail from the City of Angels, Abysmal Dawn remain one of death metal's most consistently crushing creative forces. Two decades removed from their very first tour, next month, the L.A. mainstays are hitting the road hard once again with the mighty Krisiun. Only this time, they'll be raising hell with their first new song since 2022.

Today, Abysmal Dawn are releasing "Cradle of Affliction". Even though its various mutations have been banging around in their heads since Phylogenesis, the band's new single proves timely. "'Cradle of Affliction' nods to the sound of our first record and our earlier melodic death metal influences like At The Gates", explains vocalist, guitarist and founding member Charles Elliott. "This one is for Tomas (R.I.P.) and all the fans who have continued to support Abysmal Dawn throughout our journey for more than two decades now".

"The music is written played, recorded and mixed  by humans", Elliott continues. "The artwork was created by a human. The music video was shot and edited by a human. We hope you come out to a show and support four of your favorite semi-humans playing death metal while you still can. Cheers!"

Watch the video for "Cradle of Affliction" Below.

The video for "Cradle of Affliction" was directed by Robert Graves (Defiant Digital Productions)

"Cradle of Affliction" bears the bloodied markings of Abysmal Dawn. The production is crisp but thick with heavy double bass and bone-crunching riffs. Back-to-back guitar solos twist like two spires up the same darkened tower, circling back to a killer chorus that begs to be screamed with horns raised to the rafters. "Cursed in name / Blessed in death". Indeed, few bands have ever possessed such unholy staying power.

Abysmal Dawn's latest album Phylogenesis and their most-recent EP Nightmare Frontier are both now available through Season of Mist.

Third Man Records, in collaboration with Reprise Records, proudly presents Billy Strings Live in Rosemont + The Self-Titled EP as the 66th installment of the Vault series. Recorded on May 25, 2024, at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, this performance captures Strings and his band in peak form, more than 20 tracks unfolding with fire, finesse, and a sense of urgency that can only come from the stage. It was a night Billy Strings himself recognized as extraordinary, and the recording preserves every moment.

The Vault package also includes a landmark addition: the first-ever vinyl pressing of Strings’ self-titled debut EP, originally self-released in 2016. A six-song collection that introduced his voice and vision to the world, it serves as the perfect counterpoint to the commanding live set, bookending an arc from past to present. Together, the four live LPs, each pressed on unique, randomly mixed colored vinyl, capture not just a performance, but a career in motion. A reminder of where it began, and a glimpse of where it’s headed. Good luck trying to catalog and collect them all.

Purchase this package at www.thirdmanrecords.com/vault before midnight CDT on October 31 to ensure your prompt receipt of this impressive collection.

CORELEONI - Live At Hallenstadion Zurich (out on December 12, 2025)

Swiss hard rock veterans CORELEONI, featuring members of GOTTHARD, are proud to unleash their new live album, Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, via Perception. Featuring a mix of classic GOTTHARD tracks and new favorites from CORELEONI’s latest studio album, IIILive At Hallenstadion Zurich documents a pivotal night in the CORELEONI saga.

One hot summer evening on July 3rd 2025, CORELEONI supported heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST at Zurich’s Hallenstadion, performing in front of 7,000 rock and metal fans. The show took the audience on a wild ride through classic GOTTHARD tracks and newer songs from III. An instant success, III had reached #2 on the Swiss album charts and found a place in the hearts of fans around the world. New tracks such as “Like It Or Not” and “Sick & Tired” became staple crowd-pleasers, right alongside beloved fan favorites such as “Sister Moon”, “Mountain Mama”, and “Standing In The Light”.

On Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, the band delivers nine songs in total and kicks off the show with two high-energy classics, “Downtown” and “Firedance”. “We wanted to go out and rock the shit out of our body”, explains guitarist Leo Leoni. Fellow guitarist Igor Gianola adds, “It seems we succeeded. The crowd was fantastic and we were able to deliver a great performance, as we wanted.”

CORELEONI’s energy and the audience’s passion electrified the show. “The night was fantastic”, remembers Leoni. “There was this special magic in the air, Zürich is always fantastic for us to play, but this was somehow a night to remember.”

The band also recalls fond memories of the bonds they forged with metal veterans JUDAS PRIEST, making the show a particularly notable highlight in CORELEONI’s career. “At the Hallenstadion we met Scott Travis on stage, who was there the whole show, and he spent some very nice words about our performance. He’s a great guy and a fantastic drummer, so we appreciated and proved our effort to get it right to the point”, recalls Gianola.

“It was an honour for us to support Judas Priest, they are one of the most important metal bands and I follow them also since I was a kid. It wasn’t the first time we played together, but especially in this location, it was like a mythos”, comments Leo Leoni.

Experience the magic of this unforgettable night right through your speakers or headphones.

About CORELEONI
Founded by guitarist Leo Leoni in 2018, CORELEONI started reviving the early GOTTHARD days successfully with their album duo consisting of The Greatest Hits - Part 1 and II. The band also convinced fans and critics alike with their high-energy performances all over Europe, making the five-piece write their very own material. The result titled III was finally released in early 2022 and saw the addition of gifted Albanian singer Eugent Bushpepa to CORELEONI’s powerful line-up, which is completed by guitarist Jgor Gianola (ex-GOTTHARD, ex-U.D.O.), bass player Mila Merker and drummer Alex Motta. The group’s latest record hit the official Swiss album chart at no. 2 and thereby cemented the high demand for their captivating craft. Of course, III guided the quintet’s way across the continent once again while making one thing even clearer: CORELEONI are more than just a studio band and need to be experienced (a)live to understand their vision in full. So what are you waiting for? Feel the magic & enjoy their second live offering, Live at Hallenstadion Zurich!

CORELEONI are:

The Pretty Wild Unleash New Track "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" + Official Visualizer via Sumerian Records

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild has unleashed their latest offering, "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" and the accompanying visualizer (via Sumerian Records). The track can be found in the band's forthcoming full-length 'zero.point.genesis', out Friday, November 21. Other tracks on the album include previously released bangers "PARADOX", "OMENS""Button Eyes""living ded", and the smash-hit "sLeepwALKeR" (as a physical bonus track). The songs so far have amassed over 23 million streams on Spotify alone and 3 million views on YouTube and counting. Speaking about today's drop, the band commented:

"'AFTERLIFE' circles the idea of star-crossed souls bound by something ancient and unbreakable. Conceptually it’s plucked from the kind of love you find in mythology and old tragedies, where you have this obsessive devotion and destruction. It isn’t perfect, but it's dark, beautiful, and eternal." -jules

"'AFTERLIFE' explores the idea that love dynamics are rooted in codependent magnetism and resonance patterns. it asks, what happens when obsession doesn’t end with death, but carries ur soul into magnetizing eternal dynamics? the result is kinda tragic and romantically glitchy. it’s basically a pop-metal requiem." -jyl

Stream "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" here, watch the official visualizer below, and pre-save 'zero.point.genesis' here.

After wrapping up a recent run with Sleep Theory earlier this month, fans will next have their chance to see The Pretty Wild hit the stage across the US alongside Set It Off, Fame On Fire, and VANA, starting Tuesday, October 28 in Atlanta, Georgia. For ticket information, please click here.

Ian Munsick Releases Ozzy Osbourne Tribute, “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)”

While Ian Munsick has been critically celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker for putting the “western back in country,” the Wyoming native is also known for genre-bending covers during his live show, showcasing his range of influences with his rendition of girl pop hits including Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” and classics such as Neil Young’s “Old Man.” Most recently, Munsick went viral for an Ozzy Osbourne tribute, performing “No More Tears” in honor of the rock legend who passed away earlier this year. Munsick knew he had something special due to fans’ reactions – and today is releasing his live recording of the song.

Listen to “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)” Below

Ozzy’s influence on Munsick began at an early age, as Munsick recalls, “When I was 8 years old, I stumbled upon my older brother’s CD collection. I sneakily slid out a black colored album with a small tan cross on top and threw it in my walkman CD player (shout out the early 2000’s). One of the most iconic bass riffs of all time captured my ears right out of the gate, followed by the most recognizable voice in all of Rock n Roll. It was Ozzy’s 1991 hit song ‘No More Tears.’”

Doing the cover of “No More Tears” in Nebraska upon the singer’s death in July came together by happenstance. Munsick shares, “23 years later, I’m on stage sound checking in Kearney, Nebraska when out of the air and into my fingers comes that same iconic bass riff. My band quickly followed suit and we jammed a verse and chorus before moving on to our normal soundcheck routine. I headed back to the bus to catch a quick nap before the long night ahead when breaking news hit my phone… ‘RIP Ozzy.’ The universe was telling me to play that song that night, so we quickly worked up a fiddle heavy version of the heavy metal hit.

“As our 90 minute show was coming to end, I nervously looked at my drummer to count me in for our tribute to the Ozzman,” he adds. “The bass riff captured the country audience as they erupted with joy and sadness all at once. After the show, social media did its thing and made our cover of ‘No More Tears’ the most viral moment I’ve had thus far in my career. I knew we had to release a version exactly like the one we played in Nebraska that night. Luckily, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was the following weekend... what better atmosphere to play some Ozzy? This time, we hit record.”

Munsick recently set The Eagle Flies Free Tour for 2026. Beginning February 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the tour will feature 17 dates with special guests Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance and Jake Worthington, highlighting one of the most distinctive voices in modern country music – and his distinctive modern-Western style.

The follow up to his 2025 Eagle Feather album, Munsick’s The Eagle Flies Free Tour continues a streak of touring success for the native son of Sheridan, Wyoming – including a history making turn at the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days in July.

Headlining the iconic rodeo and Western lifestyle celebration, Munsick became the first Wyoming native to secure top-billing of the event’s musical lineup, playing songs from across his three albums – Coyote Cry, White Buffalo and Eagle Feather.

See Hellish Sanguisugabogg Billboard + "Hideous Aftermath" Out Now

Boundary-pushing brutalists (and recent Decibel cover stars) Sanguisugabogg — Cody Davidson, drums; Drew Arnold, bass/guitars; Devin Swank, vocals; and Ced Davis, bass/guitars —have unleashed their new album Hideous Aftermath via Century Media. Get it here

In the band's home base of Columbus, OH, a "hellish" billboard promoting the album has been unveiled, and it's located right across the street from the capitol building. It parodies the infamous "Hell is Real" billboards that were erected across the state in 2004 as a measure to promote Christianity to motorists.

"To have our logo plastered on a billboard just across our state capitpl building should be considered vandalism in some way," the band theorizes. "This is so cool. Thank you to Century Media for giving OUR city the sickest merch it could ever receive."

Known for being THAT band with the unpronounceable name and unreadable logos, the 'Bogg have made a record as gore-obsessed and violence-inclined as any of their prior works, including Tortured Whole (2021) and Homicidal Ecstasy(2023), but with a career-defining command over their ugly art. Says Swank, "It's the one where we rolled our sleeves up and brought our A-Game."

Hideous Aftermath is the work of a band who has already cut a bloody swath into the underground and beyond. Sanguisugabogg have emerged from the sweat and grime of countless U.S. and international tours with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Lorna Shore, and Kublai Kahn as well as festival slots and their own headline runs. They've ensnared scores of new converts to their brand of the brutally absurd.

Now in 2025, the 'Bogg's third full length leaves any "caveman death metal" tags in the dust. This is the sound of Sanguisugabogg flexing every muscle they have.

Enlisting producer Kurt Ballou (Nails, High on Fire) the 'Bogg decamped to God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts in the Spring of 2025. "We got off the road after A LOT of touring and wanted to drill down and be as purely creative as possible without distraction," says Swank of the band's decision to work with the Converge guitarist in Witch City. "Kurt mixed Homicidal Ecstasy, so he already understood what we were going for."

While Sanguisugabogg have long been self-produced with Davidson handling production duties, this time, they put their sonic trust fully in Ballou's hands.

With Hideous Aftermath, Sanguisugabogg have proven themselves more than just an eccentric death crew on an acid-addled hateroll. They're both champions of the underground and a musical force unto themselves. "Eight or nine years ago, it seemed like what we were doing was pretty niche," Swank admits. "Where we've come, some of the rooms and festivals we've played is kind of remarkable." Big swings including recent appearances on more "mainstream" rock festivals including Columbus' Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona, Florida, were never on the 'Bogg boys' charter underground agenda.

"I think we were a band that was set up to do nothing or a lot of something," Swank concludes. "Why 'normies' ever ended up liking it was weird. Who knows? Maybe we made pain and suffering fun."

Sanguisugabogg will be touring this November on a headline run, with Despised Icon, Defeated Sanity, and Corpsepile as support. All dates are below.
