The Pretty Wild Unleash New Track "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" + Official Visualizer via Sumerian Records

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild has unleashed their latest offering, "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" and the accompanying visualizer (via Sumerian Records). The track can be found in the band's forthcoming full-length 'zero.point.genesis', out Friday, November 21. Other tracks on the album include previously released bangers "PARADOX", "OMENS""Button Eyes""living ded", and the smash-hit "sLeepwALKeR" (as a physical bonus track). The songs so far have amassed over 23 million streams on Spotify alone and 3 million views on YouTube and counting. Speaking about today's drop, the band commented:

"'AFTERLIFE' circles the idea of star-crossed souls bound by something ancient and unbreakable. Conceptually it’s plucked from the kind of love you find in mythology and old tragedies, where you have this obsessive devotion and destruction. It isn’t perfect, but it's dark, beautiful, and eternal." -jules

"'AFTERLIFE' explores the idea that love dynamics are rooted in codependent magnetism and resonance patterns. it asks, what happens when obsession doesn’t end with death, but carries ur soul into magnetizing eternal dynamics? the result is kinda tragic and romantically glitchy. it’s basically a pop-metal requiem." -jyl

Stream "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" here, watch the official visualizer below, and pre-save 'zero.point.genesis' here.

After wrapping up a recent run with Sleep Theory earlier this month, fans will next have their chance to see The Pretty Wild hit the stage across the US alongside Set It Off, Fame On Fire, and VANA, starting Tuesday, October 28 in Atlanta, Georgia. For ticket information, please click here.

Ian Munsick Releases Ozzy Osbourne Tribute, “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)”

While Ian Munsick has been critically celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker for putting the “western back in country,” the Wyoming native is also known for genre-bending covers during his live show, showcasing his range of influences with his rendition of girl pop hits including Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” and classics such as Neil Young’s “Old Man.” Most recently, Munsick went viral for an Ozzy Osbourne tribute, performing “No More Tears” in honor of the rock legend who passed away earlier this year. Munsick knew he had something special due to fans’ reactions – and today is releasing his live recording of the song.

Listen to “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)” Below

Ozzy’s influence on Munsick began at an early age, as Munsick recalls, “When I was 8 years old, I stumbled upon my older brother’s CD collection. I sneakily slid out a black colored album with a small tan cross on top and threw it in my walkman CD player (shout out the early 2000’s). One of the most iconic bass riffs of all time captured my ears right out of the gate, followed by the most recognizable voice in all of Rock n Roll. It was Ozzy’s 1991 hit song ‘No More Tears.’”

Doing the cover of “No More Tears” in Nebraska upon the singer’s death in July came together by happenstance. Munsick shares, “23 years later, I’m on stage sound checking in Kearney, Nebraska when out of the air and into my fingers comes that same iconic bass riff. My band quickly followed suit and we jammed a verse and chorus before moving on to our normal soundcheck routine. I headed back to the bus to catch a quick nap before the long night ahead when breaking news hit my phone… ‘RIP Ozzy.’ The universe was telling me to play that song that night, so we quickly worked up a fiddle heavy version of the heavy metal hit.

“As our 90 minute show was coming to end, I nervously looked at my drummer to count me in for our tribute to the Ozzman,” he adds. “The bass riff captured the country audience as they erupted with joy and sadness all at once. After the show, social media did its thing and made our cover of ‘No More Tears’ the most viral moment I’ve had thus far in my career. I knew we had to release a version exactly like the one we played in Nebraska that night. Luckily, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was the following weekend... what better atmosphere to play some Ozzy? This time, we hit record.”

Munsick recently set The Eagle Flies Free Tour for 2026. Beginning February 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the tour will feature 17 dates with special guests Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance and Jake Worthington, highlighting one of the most distinctive voices in modern country music – and his distinctive modern-Western style.

The follow up to his 2025 Eagle Feather album, Munsick’s The Eagle Flies Free Tour continues a streak of touring success for the native son of Sheridan, Wyoming – including a history making turn at the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days in July.

Headlining the iconic rodeo and Western lifestyle celebration, Munsick became the first Wyoming native to secure top-billing of the event’s musical lineup, playing songs from across his three albums – Coyote Cry, White Buffalo and Eagle Feather.

See Hellish Sanguisugabogg Billboard + "Hideous Aftermath" Out Now

Boundary-pushing brutalists (and recent Decibel cover stars) Sanguisugabogg — Cody Davidson, drums; Drew Arnold, bass/guitars; Devin Swank, vocals; and Ced Davis, bass/guitars —have unleashed their new album Hideous Aftermath via Century Media. Get it here

In the band's home base of Columbus, OH, a "hellish" billboard promoting the album has been unveiled, and it's located right across the street from the capitol building. It parodies the infamous "Hell is Real" billboards that were erected across the state in 2004 as a measure to promote Christianity to motorists.

"To have our logo plastered on a billboard just across our state capitpl building should be considered vandalism in some way," the band theorizes. "This is so cool. Thank you to Century Media for giving OUR city the sickest merch it could ever receive."

Known for being THAT band with the unpronounceable name and unreadable logos, the 'Bogg have made a record as gore-obsessed and violence-inclined as any of their prior works, including Tortured Whole (2021) and Homicidal Ecstasy(2023), but with a career-defining command over their ugly art. Says Swank, "It's the one where we rolled our sleeves up and brought our A-Game."

Hideous Aftermath is the work of a band who has already cut a bloody swath into the underground and beyond. Sanguisugabogg have emerged from the sweat and grime of countless U.S. and international tours with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Lorna Shore, and Kublai Kahn as well as festival slots and their own headline runs. They've ensnared scores of new converts to their brand of the brutally absurd.

Now in 2025, the 'Bogg's third full length leaves any "caveman death metal" tags in the dust. This is the sound of Sanguisugabogg flexing every muscle they have.

Enlisting producer Kurt Ballou (Nails, High on Fire) the 'Bogg decamped to God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts in the Spring of 2025. "We got off the road after A LOT of touring and wanted to drill down and be as purely creative as possible without distraction," says Swank of the band's decision to work with the Converge guitarist in Witch City. "Kurt mixed Homicidal Ecstasy, so he already understood what we were going for."

While Sanguisugabogg have long been self-produced with Davidson handling production duties, this time, they put their sonic trust fully in Ballou's hands.

With Hideous Aftermath, Sanguisugabogg have proven themselves more than just an eccentric death crew on an acid-addled hateroll. They're both champions of the underground and a musical force unto themselves. "Eight or nine years ago, it seemed like what we were doing was pretty niche," Swank admits. "Where we've come, some of the rooms and festivals we've played is kind of remarkable." Big swings including recent appearances on more "mainstream" rock festivals including Columbus' Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona, Florida, were never on the 'Bogg boys' charter underground agenda.

"I think we were a band that was set up to do nothing or a lot of something," Swank concludes. "Why 'normies' ever ended up liking it was weird. Who knows? Maybe we made pain and suffering fun."

Sanguisugabogg will be touring this November on a headline run, with Despised Icon, Defeated Sanity, and Corpsepile as support. All dates are below.

Virginity Release "You Can't Have My Blood: Bad Jazz Companion" via Smartpunk Records

Smartpunk Records' Florida power pop outfit, Virginity, has released a full-length companion to their 2024 LP "Bad Jazz," titled "You Can't Have My Blood." The tracklist is the ultimate fan service to enhance the original tracklist. It compiles songs from their two EPs released this year, as well as a handful of additional tracks, including an unreleased original and a few covers.

You can pre-order the vinyl now, out physically on October 24, just in time for Fest in Gainesville. This is an extremely limited vinyl release with no plans of repressing once sold out.

Listen below.

Pre-order "You Can't Have My Blood: Bad Jazz Companion" here

he band has received critical acclaim from the rock scene's top tastemakers, including New Noise Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, Audiotree, and more. As fan favorites at Smartpunk's SXSW showcase and Florida's beloved FEST, Virginity have cultivated a core fanbase who are foaming at the mouth for these new tracks.

Speaking about the new deluxe release, Virginity says, "Our newest release, You Can’t Have My Blood, is truly for the Virginity heads. When we released two EPs earlier this year, we knew we wanted to get them on vinyl in some form and that doing so was an important factor for our heaviest listeners, but we weren’t sure what it should look like. In taking a look at all the material, which mostly came about during the late stages of the Bad Jazz sessions, we decided that this should be a sort of Bad Jazz spiritual companion. We had songs that never got past the demo form that we wanted to see the light of day, as well as some live performances, covers and other odds-and-ends that have been available in random places, but never in one place or on vinyl. As much as it’s a compilation of disparate songs, we believe it also stands up on its own as a piece in the tradition of artists like Guided By Voices. We think it’s a truly worthy collection of tunes for anybody, but something extra special for those that have been fans of our band for a while."

UPCOMING SHOWS:
10/22 - Pre-Pre-Fest Orlando @ Will's Pub
10/23 - Pre-Fest Gainesville @ Boca Fiesta
10/25 - The Fest @ The Atlantic
10/26 - The Fest (Fountains of Wayne cover set) @ How Bazar

ABOUT SMARTPUNK RECORDS:
Smartpunk has been a recognizable name in the scene for a long time (Remember that sponsored Warped Tour stage?!). After exchanging several hands and countless ideas of what it could and should be, they decided to start a record label in 2016 with the main idea of focusing solely on reissuing records that have been out of print or never on vinyl. After all, they're a label of vinyl dorks themselves! After releasing Set Your Goals' Mutiny and Gameface's Good, they started to venture into signing newer bands. They actively balance in between many worlds — putting out amazing music from friends and bands that rock, reissuing older titles, and partnering with other incredible labels in our scene and doing exclusive color variants of their releases.

Since forming the record label, Smartpunk Records has reissued timeless albums such as Less Than Jake's Hello Rockview and Anthem, Patrick Stump's Soul Punk and Samiam's Clumsy. In the year 2025 alone they've put out new releases by the likes of Somerset Thrower, Keep Flying, Debt Neglector, Gully Boys, Sainthood Reps and so many more.

Flannels to FlipFlops - IT'S TOUR TIME!

We are officially zipping up the suitcases and hitting the road for our Fall Tour. The Northeast run comes first, so we are packing the warm coats, cozy flannels, and maybe a few extra strings just in case Wes rocks too hard.

Then it is straight down to the Sunshine State, where the coats get swapped for Tee shirts and flip flops. Touring in October is basically packing for two different planets, but we are not complaining. Fall in the northeast is the absolute BEST and who doesn't love themselves some Florida!?!

So grab your tickets, grab your friends, and come see us on the road. We have songs to sing, stories to tell, and maybe a few secrets to spill.

EDGE OF PARADISE Unveil Cinematic Cover of “Requiem for a Dream”

International cinematic rock band EDGE OF PARADISE have released their powerful reimagining of the iconic Requiem for a Dream theme. Known for fusing soaring vocals, heavy riffs, and immersive soundscapes, the band takes the haunting score into new depths, transforming it into a massive, larger-than-life experience that bridges the worlds of film and metal.

Following the success of their latest album Prophecy (Napalm), the band continues to expand their multimedia universe, accompanying this powerful composition with a striking visual counterpart, a music video that immerses viewers in EDGE OF PARADISE’s signature fusion of sound, story, and atmosphere.

"This theme has always resonated deep within and inspired me to see how a simple melody can open entire worlds” says vocalist Margarita Monet. “With our version we wanted to amplify that emotion, the darkness, the light, and everything in between, and we're excited to experience it with you through our dimension, on the stages and beyond.”

The artwork created by Margarita was unveiled at the NoHo CineFest in Hollywood, where she received the Outstanding Artist Award for her visual work and storytelling. Her graphic novel’s narrative extends EDGE OF PARADISE’s cinematic universe, seamlessly connecting the band’s music, imagery, and philosophy through art. Additionally, the band’s song “The Unknown” will be featured in the upcoming feature film The Complete Course of Howard French, directed by Gustavo Sampaio,  expanding their presence across both the music and film landscapes.

Margarita adds: “What also makes this so special to me is how everything I love intertwines — making the art, the music, the visuals. From painting the cover and crafting the crown to shaping the story through dance and direction, every moment reflects a piece of my soul.”

This release follows a remarkable year for the band, supporting PROPHECY with North America and European tours.

EDGE OF PARADISE will also embark on a string of dates alongside LOVE BITES to bring their show to audiences worldwide:

Hardcore legends AGNOSTIC FRONT have teamed up with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of RUN-DMC for a new single and music video, “Matter Of Life & Death” to reignite the flames of New York hardcore.

On "Matter Of Life & Death", AGNOSTIC FRONT and DMC prove that they have far more to offer than mere nostalgia. In a refreshingly modern take on genre-blending, the single charges into a snarling street fight between hardcore punk and old-school hip-hop swagger. Blasting out with razor-sharp riffs, thunderous beats, and DMC’s unmistakable cadence, the music hits harder than a Queens-bound freight train. Producer and New York Hardcore stalwart Mike Dijan keeps the sound raw and relentless, while director Blake Farber turns the video into a non-stop adrenaline reel. With mosh pits meeting boom boxes, fists in the air, and sweat flying off the walls, it's New York grit distilled into less than 3 minutes of pure energy.

In an era of overproduced and predictable genre mash-ups, “Matter of Life & Death” feels alive, dangerous, and necessary. AGNOSTIC FRONT and DMC are the perfect unlikely pairing: two giants from different musical worlds finding common ground in aggression, defiance, and their New York roots.

And this is just the 2nd shot fired, leading into AGNOSTIC FRONT's highly-anticipated upcoming album, Echoes in Eternity, dropping November 7th. If you needed a reminder that the spirit of crossover still has teeth, this is it.

About AGNOSTIC FRONT:
Founded in 1982, AGNOSTIC FRONT stand among the most esteemed pioneers of the hardcore genre. No band comes close in sonic and socio authenticity and sincerity, where the struggles of survival on the streets have quite literally given life to a sound that remains as impactful today as it was over four decades ago. AGNOSTIC FRONT‘s battering, socially critical sounds serve as the foundation of true New York hardcore and helped initiate the emergence of crossover thrash. Following a slew of pummeling offerings, the band, led by the inimitable roar of Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma's legendary charismatic guitar playing, continue to showcase unapologetically honest lyrics and signature aggression in Echoes in Eternity.

AS I LAY DYING Ignite a New Chapter with Powerful Single “Echoes”

Metalcore mainstays AS I LAY DYING have roared back with their latest single, “Echoes," a track that signals not only a powerful sonic statement, but the beginning of an inspired new chapter for the band.

Layered in emotion, precision, and melodic depth, “Echoes” explores the internal battles we fight, the shadows we leave behind, and the strength found in forging a new identity. Delivered with unrelenting passion and signature intensity, the song highlights the band’s trademark balance of crushing heaviness and poignant introspection.

“Echoes” also marks the debut of a dynamic new AS I LAY DYING lineup, bringing together seasoned talent and fresh energy:

  • Tim Lambesis – Vocals

  • Chris Clancy – Bass, Clean Vocals

  • Bill Hudson – Guitar

  • Don Vedda – Guitar

  • Tim Yeung – Drums

"As the only primary songwriter on every AILD album, I’m always going to a find a path forward for this catalog of music that I’m so passionate about,"says Tim Lambesis."But sometimes things come together even better than expected. I’m incredibly grateful for my new bandmates. In addition to being incredibly talented, they genuinely care about my well being and the band we are now all a part of."

"Tim L and I first met almost 20 years ago and I’ve been in multiple bands with Tim Y,"
adds Bill Hudson. "It’s an honor to be a part of the new chapter of As I Lay Dying. What a great way to get together and play with so many friends of 15+ years at the same time!"

"Excited to finally share this new chapter. Check out the music video for Echoes, proud of what we've created together. Hope you enjoy it,"
affirms Chris Clancy.

This new formation infuses the band with renewed vitality and artistic momentum. Each member brings a unique voice and refined musicianship, helping to craft a sound that’s both familiar and forward-thinking, rooted in legacy, but boldly reaching into new territory.

Additionally, AS I LAY DYING will embark on an electrifying European tour this fall, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Shadows Are Security. Fans will experience a career-spanning set, with deep cuts, timeless anthems, and a renewed fire on stage. Tickets are available HERE

Dragony Welcome New Member Maria Nesh Ahead of January 2026 Tour

On the heels of the announcement of a January 2026 European tour with ENSIFERUM and FREEDOM CALL, DRAGONY promised additional news. Here it is. Their long-time collaborator and frequent special guest vocalist for live shows, Maria Nesh (RED EYE TEMPLE), is joining the band as a full-time member starting with the January tour.

Touring oftentimes poses considerable challenges for bands, especially when it comes to scheduling, so they made the decision to switch to a two-singer lineup to enable them to not only expand their musical scope by adding an additional female voice, but to also do more shows and tours than before.

Starting with the January tour, DRAGONY live shows will generally feature both singers, except in instances where one singer can't make it for scheduling or work-related reasons, in which case, such shows will be performed solo by the other singer.

After playing with DRAGONY many times over the past years, it's going to be fun to be working with them on a full-time basis and to perform even more shows with DRAGONY in the future. I am also looking forward to working on new music in the studio with the guys, and maybe there will be some exciting news to be shared in this regard very soon. For now, I'm happy to be DRAGONY's new 'Valkyrie' and look forward to the big European tour in January! See you on the Road to Valhalla!," stated Nesh.

'00s Faves Dry Kill Logic Commence Writing New Album + Announce 2026 Tour Dates

After an explosive 2025 that saw their first live performances in nearly two decades, Dry Kill Logic — the hard-hitting, genre-defying band known for their unique fusion of nu-metal, hardcore, and metalcore — have officially begun work on a new full-length album. The record will mark the group's first LP since 2006's Of Vengeance & Violence.

In addition, the band has announced the Decades of Distance Tour 2026, a headline run that will return them to markets and venues they have not performed in for over 20 years.

A NEW ALBUM: YOUR SINS WILL FIND YOU:
The band has officially began writing its fourth full-length album, titled Your Sins Will Find You. Drawing inspiration from recent collaborations with producer Greg Thomas (End, Misery Signals, Shai Hulud) and fueled by their return to the stage, the record promises to both honor their roots and push their sound forward.

Fans can expect a dynamic blend of ferocity and melody — building on tracks like "Vices," "Don't See Ghosts," and "Now You Belong with the Dead," while staying true to the raw aggression of classics like "200 Years," "Boneyard," and "Nightmare."

THE DECADES OF DISTANCE TOUR 2026:
In support of the upcoming album, Dry Kill Logic will hit the road in 2026 for the Decades of Distance Tour, returning to long-absent markets. Select shows will feature support from New Jersey metal heavyweights Dizasterpiece.

"The excitement and anticipation are overwhelming," says guitarist Jason Bozzi. "To finally return to these cities after all these years is something we never thought would happen. We’re incredibly excited to see everyone."

ABOUT DOFLAME:
For a solo artist, Mateo Naranjo, the mastermind behind DoFlame, is uniquely devoted to unlocking the potential of music scenes. The 21-year-old punk from Toronto is fueled by a desire to bring people into a world and in turn bring them together, to find the real sense of community that can be attained by immersing yourself in an underground culture. DoFlame's most recent album, BENT, bottles that feeling of discovery and camaraderie. Like a hardcore version of a coming-of-age movie, it captures all of the joy, confusion, and determination of being young and unsure of what's next just as effectively as it blends the unbridled aggression of heavy music with the swagger of hip-hop.

ESHTADUR Announces Mexico Dates for “Bellum Regiis” Tour and Symphonic Live Album Release

Colombian blackened melodic death metal force ESHTADUR returns to Mexico this October as direct support for Polish death metal titans HATE on the incendiary “Bellum Regiis” Tour.

Kicking off on October 11 in Mexico City, this brutal cross-country trek will see ESHTADUR delivering their signature fusion of crushing riffs, symphonic grandeur, and tribal intensity to audiences across seven cities. The opening night in CDMX will be a monumental event, also featuring none other than BEHEMOTH. As one of the most internationally acclaimed extreme metal acts to emerge from Latin America, ESHTADUR is poised to conjure chaos and catharsis in every city they touch.

The tour comes ahead of ESHTADUR’s upcoming live album, Symphonic Crows – Live at the Santiago Londoño’s Theater, arriving December 4, 2025 via Void Nation. Recorded in their hometown with a full symphonic orchestra, the album is a triumphant testament to the band’s cinematic sound and uncompromising energy.

Featuring seven tracks including Lowborn Bastard, Umbra, The Red Door, and She The Void, the album captures the magic of their genre-defying performance in Pereira, Colombia. Produced by Jorg August, mixed and mastered by Diego Rodriguez, and recorded at the Santiago Londoño’s Theater, this release is a milestone in the band’s legacy, melding orchestral majesty with the relentless pulse of death metal.

About ESHTADUR:

ESHTADUR was founded in the fall of 2005 by Jorg August, releasing the Timo Be Timo demo with a sound in the vein of COVENANT, DIMMU BORGIR, and OLD MAN’S CHILD. Since then, they have released a pair of EPs and four powerful full-length albums. ESHTADUR, meaning "the rebellion of angels," can be most closely likened to bands such as SEPTIC FLESH, BEHEMOTH, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, CARACH ANGREN, and the like. Like their scene counterparts, the band embodies a deathly melodic atmosphere that reaches into realms of darkness and despair through the decay of humanity. It seeks to rebel, in its darkened way, embracing the abject reality.

ESHTADUR is:

  • Jorg August – Vocals and Guitars

  • Camilo Barbosa – Lead Guitars

  • Andres Gonzalez – Bass

  • Juan Lopez – Drums
