The Plot In You Release New Single "Silence" With Official Music Video via Fearless Records

The Plot In You have today released their new track "Silence" and the official music video (via Fearless Records). When asked about the inspiration behind the track, vocalist Landon Tewers commented:

"'Silence' is a meditation on the feeling of growing older, more confident, and at peace. I wanted to write about my current feeling about existing. Nothing in the song repeats as a metaphor for not treading past waters again and striving take on things that feel uncomfortable."

The quartet is currently on their US headliner with Invent Animate, Northlane and Windwaker as support, and will next hit the road with Bring Me The Horizon across the States alongside Motionless In White and Amira Elfeky (ticket information here). The former imagines an outside force annihilating humanity in judgment of its arrogance, built on some of the band’s most punishing riffs to date—swinging between chaos, groove, and sheer obliteration. The latter churns with mechanized fury and contempt for blind belief, echoing Meshuggah-like timing with lyrics that drag faith to its own ironic hell. Across the record, Tribal Gaze capture the violence of thought and sound in equal measure—uncompromising and vividly self-aware.

Their ascent to Nuclear Blast was anything but formulaic. After leveling stages on tour with Frozen Soul, the band caught the attention of legendary A&R Monte Conner, who waited outside a venue in New York just to share his admiration. How Stoned Jesus Reached New Highs on "Low"

While they've blazed through folk, prog, pop and alternative rock following their first sip of doom metal, after 15 years, Stoned Jesusare still reaching new creative peaks. On the latest single from the band's mind-melting new album, Songs to Sun, the heavy progressive rockers rose above personal lows by doing something they've never done before: blast beats and harsh vocals.

Today, frontman Igor Sydorenko is releasing a new video that shows how to play and how he wrote "Low". Thanks to a simple riff and instant chemistry shared between Sydorenko and his new rhythm section, the band stopped worrying about pleasing people and blasted out the heaviest song in Stoned Jesus' wide-ranging discography.

"This is probably the happiest I've been creatively in Stoned Jesus", Sydorenko says. "With both Andrew and Yuri now in the band, we can experiment as deep as we can.

"Even though, we are currently working on the darker follow-up to Songs to Sun", he continues, "the three of us are constantly laughing all the time".

Boys Like Girls Release "THE HOMECOMING (LIVE FROM THE MGM MUSIC HALL AT FENWAY PARK)"

In 2023, alt-pop powerhouse BOYS LIKE GIRLS made a long-awaited return with Sunday At Foxwoods, their first album in over a decade.

The record is a beautiful meeting of their melody-driven pop anthems delivered with the maturity of a band that had many years of growth in between. It served as a bold reintroduction that resonated with a new generation of listeners, while igniting the hearts of longtime fans.
 
After writing and producing for artists like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Jason Derulo, frontman and songwriter Martin Johnson brought a sharpened pen and a deeper sense of purpose back to the mic.
 

With renewed energy, the band performed a sold-out show to 5,000 fans on October 26, 2023 on their hometown stage at Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park.
 
The 120-minute set was filmed and captured BLG in their most natural state — on the stage and in front of fans in unfiltered, electric, and unforgettable fashion.

Rocklahoma roared back over Labor Day weekend, cementing its place as one of America's premier rock and metal festivals with a total attendance of 76,930 fans across four days!

With headlining sets from Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, Tom Morello and more!

Rocklahoma once again proved why it's hailed as the biggest rock party in the Midwest.

Rocklahoma's online presence erupted this year with over 4 million in social media engagement and participation more than doubled, with fans devouring backstage clips, pit footage, and fan-shot festival moments and the debut of "Rocklahoma Live," the festival's official backstage broadcast.

The Rocklahoma content team, led by Mike and Chantal Savage of Vision Savage Media (Kansas City, MO), delivered wall-to-wall coverage that drove record engagement. With snakes, guillotines, and pure rock theater, Alice Cooper turned the Pryor fields into his personal stage play reminding fans why the Godfather of Shock Rock still defines the genre.

Shinedown delivered an arena-sized explosion of light, sound, and anthems. Tens of thousands belted out every lyric in unison, creating a worthy chorus that carried across the Oklahoma night.

Morello's guitar pyrotechnics reached new heights when he brought his son on stage for a jaw-dropping father-son guitar duel. The younger Morello stunned the crowd with his chops, proving that rock's fire passes from generation to generation.

Primeval: Obsession // Detachment was recorded live in Michigan with producer Josh Schroeder using no clicks, no edits, and no safety nets. Like its four predecessors “What we know”, “A primeval detachment”, “augmented" and "as fate undoes" also ties directly into the album’s layered sci-fi narrative. The concept follows two characters, Ana and Sheelah, on a morally destructive journey across an alien world. ABOUT TALLAH

Emerging from Pennsylvania in 2018, Tallah fuse the percussive force of second-generation drummer-turned-bassist Max Portnoy with the unpredictable dexterity of vocalist and viral phenom Justin Bonitz and the phenomenal guitarist duo of Derrick Schneider and Alex Snowden to form a sound that’s part brutalist nu-metal, part theatrical meltdown, and entirely their own. Many Eyes came together in the winter of 2022 and immediately went to work crafting a sound that was as brutal as it was melodic. When their 2023 LP THE LIGHT AGE was released by Perseverance Media Group - a label owned and run by Jamey Jasta, vocalist for Hardcore pioneers HATEBREED - it captured the angry energy of the whole world at the time while subtly paying homage to the punk rock and hardcore scenes of the late 90’s that raised these music veterans. Frontman Tony West, known for his larger-than-life presence, took time out to dive deep into several transformative ayahuasca journeys in the heart of the Amazon, preparing for this next era of music.

As Tony put it, “Ayahuasca isn’t a drug—it’s powerful spiritual medicine from another realm. It helped me heal in ways I never thought possible, releasing layers of trauma, heartache, and sorrow. I’m not perfect—not Gandhi or anything—but it changed everything. My entire view of myself, love, the world, people, and my children changed because of those experiences.”

"Dyin' 4 U" was written by Tony West / Christopher Johnson, produced and mixed by Christopher Johnson. It was recorded at East West Studios in Hollywood, CA.

Blacklist Union frontman Tony West was raised in the Bronx on The Ramones, Bad Brains, and NYHC. Hearing the call of the wild west, he made his way to Los Angeles at 19 years old.

Tony took a break from L.A. to try out Memphis in 1998. While he was there, he attended the first Saliva gig with Paul Crosby on drums. This marked the beginning of a lifelong friendship between Paul and Tony, leading to management, song collaborations, and guest appearances in a few videos. Tony collaborated with guitarist Todd Youth (Murphy’s Law /Danzig) and Malfunkshun, which was kept active by Andy Wood’s brother Kevin Wood. Andy Wood is Tony’s muse, and he was honored to sing in his hero’s band.

I formed Blacklist Union because I wanted to play music that I wanted to hear, and we put out the first Blacklist Union record, After the Mourning, in 2006. The band’s name comes from getting the best musicians with the worst reputations in town. With a shamanistic blend of Stone Temple Pilots, Guns N’ Roses, Warrior Soul, The Cult, and Mother Love Bone... Blacklist Union was born.

Having played in numerous bands throughout the years, Guitarist Greg Antine came to a point in his career where he wanted to branch out and write songs that had more depth and were inspired by his personal life experiences. Having worked with Bassist George Pond for several years in previous projects including, Disciples Of Verity, Greg expressed his concept for Swim The Current to George in hopes of collaborating with him on this new music venture. The two began to flesh out ideas in George’s home studio and realized quickly that they were on to something special, but still needed something more to see their ideas through to complete their concepts. Greg was introduced to Joe Gareri, Guitar/Keyboards, by George during the Disciples Of Verity debut album recording sessions which Joe is also featured on as a guest artist. The three of them immediately hit it off and worked extremely well together. Greg and George realized that Joe’s cinematic writing style would be a perfect match for their concepts and Joe was then brought in as a full time member. After two songs were completed and demo’d in George’s studio utilizing programmed drums, it was suggested by their friend Allyson Song River Jaynes, that they reach out to her friend, drummer Chris Moore of Ultraphonix, Rock Of Ages, to see if he would be interested in working with the project. Upon hearing the strength of songwriting and musicianship of the band, Chris was all in and signed on as the fourth full time member of STC and now the band, from an instrument’s perspective, was complete.

The final missing piece for STC was a lead vocalist who could capture the sound they envisioned for their music. After working in the studio with a few different vocalists, George ultimately reached out to his friend Marcos Leal, of legendary international touring band Ill Nino. Marcos loved the music of STC as well as having the freedom and creativity of writing lyrics for the project. After recording their first song together with Marcos, "We Are Not The Same", everyone new that this lineup was something special and Swim The Current was now complete! The release of "We Are Not The Same" took off instantly, and amassed thousands of streams, YouTube views and followers through a total organic DIY social media campaign.

Swim The Current’s sound is influenced and reminiscent of many of their favorite artists including, Deftones, Faith No More, Sevendust, POD, and Stabbing Westward. They continue to write new music and look forward to sharing their future releases with the world!

Swollen Teeth Release New Album 'Ask Nothing' and Unleash Official Music Video For "Nothing"

Masked metal insurgents Swollen Teeth have released their new album 'Ask Nothing' (via Blowed Out Records), produced by legendary producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Glassjaw, At The Drive In) and Slipknot's Sid Wilson. In celebration of the release, the quartet has shared their official music video for "Nothing". When asked about the album, the band commented:

"This album is dedicated to the family we lost while making it. Now it’s your turn to Ask Nothing."

Heavy percussion, riffs, punk gang chants, dive bombs, turntables, breakdowns, shrieks, guttural screams, and powerfully unashamed anthemic melodies coalesce in Swollen Teeth. Formed in 2005 by guitarists Jan-Ole Lamberti and Volker Dieken, NAILED TO OBSCURITYstarted their journey as teenagers with an uncompromising vision. They released their independent debut Abyss in 2007, proving their resilience in an industry where many bands fade before they rise. With lineup evolutions in the early days and sonic transformations, the Germans honed their melancholic yet crushing sound, which reached new heights with Opaque (2013) and King Delusion (2017), released via Apostasy Records. These albums marked the first steps from a local underground act to a serious, globally touring band, following the arrival of vocalist Raimund Ennenga in 2012.

By 2018, NAILED TO OBSCURITY had earned a place among the greats, signing with Nuclear Blast and unveiling Black Frost in January 2019, an album that solidified their identity and positioned them on some of the biggest stages in Europe and North America. With bassist Lutz Neemann joining in May 2024, replacing long-time member Carsten Schorn, the current lineup was completed.

In 2022, NAILED TO OBSCURITY released the singles 'Liquid Mourning' and 'Clouded Frame', both of which are featured on Generation Of The Void. These tracks provided a glimpse into the band's evolving sound and set the stage for what was to come.
