ROCK SINGER + GUITARIST TIM MONTANA SHARES NEW SONG "DIE TODAY"

Rock singer/guitarist/songwriter Tim Montana drops his new song “Die Today” from his debut album, Savage. Pre-order, pre-add and pre-save Savage HERE.

“Die Today” is a gritty and grungy anthem that pays tribute to the special forces of the military who run into gunfire and lay down their lives for strangers, as Tim Montana is a vocal supporter of veterans. The gloomy guitars, Montana's gravelly vocals, and downright nasty guitar solos make this a "must listen" from Savage. It's a '90s-inspired song that truly comes to life when performed on stage, and fans will be screaming along to every syllable.

"I had the title 'Die Today' for several years and couldn’t figure out an angle to write it," says Montana. "When I sat down to write for the album Savage, I started chasing this title again. Right away, my friend who was in Special Operations texted me. I knew right then that this song had to be about heroes who put their lives on the line to save strangers. This song is dedicated to the special operations community and any hero who puts their life on the line for others."

On the Music Knox/BMG release Savage, Montana gets in touch with his undeniable rock 'n' roll roots. Armed with grit, guitars, and a hunger for glory, Montana has been endorsed by Dave Grohl and ZZ Top's Billy F Gibbons, booked by David Letterman, and had his anthems used by the MLB and NHL. His moody, crackling, '90s-influenced riffs and whiskey-soaked vocals reel fans in while his storytelling keeps them. Savage is a custom and combustible cocktail, served in a dirty, cracked glass that proves why Montana earned iHeartRadio's "On The Verge" accolade.

Montana also shared the official video for the title track. Watch it below.

Tim Montana is touring heavily this year. He will support Bush, Jerry Cantrell, and Candlebox this summer and has appearances booked at major festivals. All dates are below.

About Tim Montana:
Tim Montana forges a new frontier for hard rock. Following a tumultuous and downright unbelievable childhood in a trailer off-the-grid, the singer, guitarist, and entrepreneur left his home state of Montana in the rearview at barely eighteen-years-old. Driven by a restless work ethic, he quietly carved out a niche without comparison. Along the way, he performed on The Late Show with David Letterman at the behest of the host (practically unheard of for a totally independent artist), collaborated with everyone from Billy F Gibbons to Kid Rock (cracking the charts for the first time), made a fan out of Charlie Sheen (who directed the "Mostly Stoned" video), and even attracted his idol Dave Grohl to his corner. Forged by a long grind, he fulfilled his destiny in 2023. Tim shook the rock world with "Devil You Know." Christened "flawless" and "One of the 30 Best Rock + Metal Songs of 2023" by Loudwire, the breakout single surged onto Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Rock & Alternative Airplay charts. In its wake, iHeartRadio touted him as an "On The Verge Artist." Soon, he found himself booked for tours with Staind, Seether, Saint Asonia, Bush, and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains (another hero of Tim's). Simultaneously, he and Gibbons purchased an historic bar and hotel Wise River Club in Wise River, MT. Coming back home to Montana inspired him to go even wilder on his 2024 full-length album, Savage. The hooks hit harder, the distortion was cranked up louder, and the spirit became freer. Tim is telling a story that will resonate far beyond his home state, and you can hear it loud and clear on the first single and title track "Savage" and  the second release "Die Today" with more to come.

BAT | UNDER THE CROOKED CLAW OUT NOW + RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'REVENGE OF THE WOLF'

Richmond, Virginia metal-punk trio BAT welcomes the release of their second full-length album Under The Crooked Claw via Nuclear Blast Records. The brainchild of MUNICIPAL WASTE guitarists Ryan Waste & Nick Poulos, BAT ascended from the underground a decade ago on a dark, leather-winged trajectory. The band delivers their own blood-spattered horror leaning heavily on the dirtier side of speed metal.

To celebrate the release, BAT offers fans the single, 'Revenge Of The Wolf'. The band once again returned to horror director Norman Cabrera to create the perfect visuals. The video included cinematography completed by Rob Lucas, editing handled by Mike Mendez, and Maya Kay was responsible for the production.

Ryan Waste states, "The wait is finally over as our creation takes flight, sinking its claws into the airwaves. It was a true test of our will, caging this beast for what felt like an eternity. I’d especially like to thank my bandmates, Nick and Chris for their hard work and patience through the entire process. We wrote these songs during grim times and their ferocity is certainly emulated by that. Unleashing these tales of terror gives me a sense of fulfillment that is completely unmatched.”

Chris Marshall states, “I still bear the scars from The Claw.

Nick Poulos comments, “From note to note, speed on speed, to say I’m proud of Under The Crooked Claw is an absolute understatement. We poured our hearts, minds, and souls into this record and I’m so proud of what we accomplished. My favorite BAT offering to date!”

Watch the music video for the new single 'Revenge Of The Wolf' Below.

The power trio, completed by drummer Chris Marshall, decamped to Philadelphia in June 2021 where Arthur Rizk recorded the basic tracks for Under The Crooked Claw. Yavé Rusttracked lead guitars and vocals later when the band was back in Richmond, ultimately to be mixed by Rizk and mastered by Joel Grind. The artwork for the album was inked by Brandon Holt and colored by Margaret Rolicki.

Jam-packed with tight, concise songs loaded with punchy choruses and lightning-laced leads, each of the 13 tracks offers a new horror short story mixing the perfect blend of heavy metal, punk, and rock ‘n’ roll or as Waste coins it "primitive heavy speed".

This Summer, BAT will be heading across the US on a series of 4 headlining dates followed by the first half of the 'Lifeless Birth Tour 2024' with headliners NECROT. BEWITCHER Unleashes Electrifying New Single, "Starfire Maelstrom," Announces New Album, 'Spell Shock'

All the best tunes belong to the Devil, and Portland’s bastard sons BEWITCHER have returned to take back rock n’ roll in Baphomet’s name. The speed demons are now unleashing the electrifying new single, “Starfire Maelstrom," which is the first invocation from the haunted trio’s upcoming album, 'Spell Shock,' due September 27 on on Century Media Records. The track is the hardened and bloodthirsty sound of BEWITCHER - noise, filth, fury n’ all - and can be found along with a lyric video, which was created by Scott Taysom, watch below.

“It’s full of apocalyptic, speed demon vibes, and imagery taken from the worst of current events that only get more apocalyptic as time goes by,” says BEWITCHER frontman Mateo von Bewitcher of the album's lead missive. “It’s the feeling you get from ‘Fight Fire with Fire’ on [Metallica’s] ‘Ride the Lightning.’ It’s immediate how it feeds into themes of human destruction and war, but also has cosmic elements. It’s a classic album opener.”

Joining Von Bewitcher, bassist A. Magus, and drummer A. Hunter in the studio this time was none other longtime BEWITCHER fan Lars Frederiksen. Most of the world knows Frederiksen as a force in his own right, playing in the likes of Bay Area punk heroes Rancid, as well as his own Old Firm Casuals. While to some, it may have been an unlikely pairing with Frederiksen taking the producer’s seat, for everyone in the studio the connection was immediate.

Says Frederiksen on Spell Shock: "It’s the best record I’ve ever produced for one of the best bands in the world."

Bewitcher's latest lightening strike comes just in time for the band's appearance at Milwaukee Metal Festival, in which they will be laying waste to The Rave/Eagle's Ballroom tonight, May 17! Bewitcher is currently on the road with fellow Portland-based occultists UADA and Century Media labelmates Upon Stone for "The Shadows Return" tour, which will continue to decimate the states until the final stop on May 28 in Sacramento, CA. The full itinerary can be found below! More dates including a Fall North American tour, and BEWITCHER’s return to Europe as they continue to extol their “Black Magick Metal” gospel will be announced soon

Stream and download the new single HERE.

Since their formation in 2013, Bewitcher has seen their signature “Black Magick Metal” sound go from humble beginnings to new heights of creativity and wild anthemic fervor. A small collection of long out-of-print demo tapes kicked off what has proven to be an enduring line of ripping studio albums, singles and EPs. They have earned a reputation as one of the hardest working touring acts around, bringing their volcanic, high energy live shows to every corner of North America and parts abroad.

Koe Wetzel Drops "Sweet Dreams" Ahead of Highly-Anticipated Album '9 Lives,' Out July 19

“I want fans to know that there's a different side of me, not just the sex, drugs and rock & roll Koe that they may have heard about online,” Platinum-selling country rock sensation Koe Wetzel shared when unveiling his forthcoming fifth studio album, 9 Lives, set for July 19 release via Columbia Records. With today’s release of emotional ballad “Sweet Dreams,” Music Row’s “genre disruptor” demonstrates just that. Listen Below and pre-order / pre-save the album HERE.

Written by Wetzel alongside Amy Allen, Josh Serrato, Sam Harris and producer Gabe Simon, “Sweet Dreams” showcases a vulnerable side of the man praised by Billboard for “music that’s unvarnished and unfiltered” with a chorus that lays bare his raw, emotional depth:

It’s hard to have sweet dreams when I’m such a nightmare
I don’t wanna talk about it, rather not go there
When I find a good thing, I burn it down slow
Only see your face now when my eyes are closed

“I had an R&B type song in mind, like something off Usher’s Confessions album, with a badass drumbeat and a really cool melody. I had written in my notes a few weeks earlier: ‘Sweet Dreams,’” Wetzel says of writing and recording the moody track. “When we got to the Sonic Ranch in El Paso, we tried it. We stepped back to look at the song and got really excited about the way it came out.”

“Sweet Dreams” joins lead single “Damn Near Normal” and title track “9 Lives (Black Cat)” in offering an early preview of the album. Wetzel offered fans a further preview of the album’s multi-faceted narrative with a special trailer introducing nine unique Koe Wetzels as he showcased his comedic acting skills. Watch HERE.

The Texas-born live phenom also plans to take his new music global this year with his recently announced Damn Near Normal World Tour. Additionally, Wetzel will perform prominent sets at several festivals, including Hangout, Country Jam, Rock the Country, Country Thunder Wisconsin, WE Fest, Watershed and more, plus a hometown stadium show as he joins Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour in Arlington, Texas this July.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” plus the Gold-certified “Good Die Young” and “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 2.6 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel will open for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour this July and play prominent sets at festivals like Country Thunder and Watershed this summer, while also headlining his own Damn Near Normal World Tour. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is set for release July 19.

Frenchy and the Punk announce eighth album and UK / US tour. Watch the video for lead single 'Hypnotized'

"Explosive, subdued, confrontational, soothing, spikey and accessible" ~ Big Takeover Magazine

"Captivating with a sense of adventure... always injects a silver lining into their dusky post-punk" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Penetrating psych-soaked post-punk... Brimming with their signature cinematic drama and that unforgettable voice" ~ Global Texan Chronicles

"An inspiriting slice of post punk hued, new wave nurtured rock ‘n’ roll... under the skin and hungrily stirring the imagination in a flash" ~ Ringmaster Review

NYC post-punk duo Frenchy and the Punk present 'Hypnotized', a seductive dance floor romp and the first taste of their eighth album 'Midnight Garden'. Released via EA Recordings, this follows their critically-acclaimed 'Zen Ghost' LP and Siouxsie tribute 'Cities In Dust'.

This collection bursts with dance grooves, guitar-driven upbeat melodies and soaring vocals. Written in France and the USA, this post-punk, new wave and dark alternative-drenched cauldron of songs address themes ranging from the gothic reimagining of the garden of eden, rising from the ashes and starting over, to socio-political commentary,

Formed in 2005, Frenchy and the Punk is vocalist, percussionist and lyricist Samantha Stephenson and guitarist-composer Scott Helland, co-founder of Deep Wound (with Dinosaur Jr. icons J Mascis and Lou Barlow) and Outpatients. Named one of the Top 25 duos in the US by Yahoo! Music, they profess a vivid blend of post-punk, dark folk, new wave, goth and punk cabaret. Helland is also known for his exceptional solo music project Guitarmy of One.

On 'Midnight Garden', Stephenson hits her stride - lyrically, vocally and with the synth sounds peppering the album. Helland shows his knack for infectious, and often euphoric, guitar melodies, propelling these tracks and perfectly complementing Frenchy's vocals.

"Scott came up with the guitar riff for 'Hypnotized' back in 2017. We were staying in a hotel in Atlantic City in-between tour stops. The hotel dated back to the 1930s with beautiful art-deco style decor. It was completely deserted and had an eerie presence - it was definitely haunted. We stumbled upon a lounge area looking over the ocean with a grand piano and spent the afternoon, with the place to ourselves, playing and coming up with song ideas. I didn’t like any lyrics that I was coming up with for that particular riff and it got shelved," explains Samantha Stephenson.

"Once in a while, I’d go back to it but it wasn’t until this past January, seven years later, that it finally took shape. We went to an art opening where photographer and mixed media artist Alice Teeple was showing her ‘Solve Et Coagula’ exhibit. I was very drawn to a book she had created with photographs and French text that she told me was inspired by the French Hypnotist Jean-Martin Charcot and I ended up falling down the Charcot rabbit hole. We were in the middle of working on the new album and I was revisiting that guitar riff, and the hypnosis theme found its way into the song, fitting perfectly after all those years. The theme of hypnosis is a double-edged sword. In one respect, it’s something that feels peaceful and sensual; in another, it feels unnerving in its ability to placate and overpower into subjugation."

Drawing inspiration from post-punk legends like The Cure, the upbeat energy and percussive textures of Adam and the Ants, the bewitching mystique of Siouxsie and the Banshees, and the quirky charm of The B-52's, they have crafted a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly authentic delivered in an unorthodox way.

About 'Hypnotized, Scott Helland says, "The song sprung from the opening grungy bass line that I played with an electro-acoustic hybrid guitar through octave and distortion pedals. The groove pulses beneath Samantha’s soaring vocals and lets up occasionally to allow me to growl the word "Hypnotized". I love that it’s a confounding track in that it hypnotizes you to move. We love to work with contrasts".

Over the years, the duo has forged their own distinct path, touring across the US and Europe with their artful two-person powerhouse of sound. To date, they've performed with Dead Can Dance's Peter Ulrich and Dresden Dolls' Brian ViglioneThomas Dolby, Dinosaur Jr., The World Inferno Friendship Society, Rasputina, Cruxshadows, Aurelio Voltaire and Faun.

'Hypnotized' is out now, available everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. The 'Midnight Garden' album, which is now available for pre-order, will be released on vinyl, CD and digitally on June 28.

The band kicks off their UK tour on May 21, when they play Bristol's Exchange with Miranda Sex Garden. American dates will follow in June. Tour tickets can be found online.

Velocity Records Signs rosecoloredworld + Band Shares "cold day in Hell"

VELOCITY RECORDS is thrilled to welcome Los Angeles rock band rosecoloredworld to the label roster.

Check out this video of the band announcing its signing... at 30,000'ish feet!

"WE SIGNED A RECORD DEAL WITH VELOCITY RECORDS!!!!! Holy shit, you guys — we really did it. We could not be more stoked for this new era of RCW and are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you rocking with us. Sometimes, your dreams really do become reality. Thank you all for being a part of our rosecoloredworld. Cheers to a new beginning," says band members Rae and Addison.

Today, the duo has shared the single "cold day in hell." Listen here.

The song is powered by a ferocious, alt rock battery. Gorgeous vocal interplay, propulsive riffing, and arena-sized choruses abound. It may be "a cold day in hell," but this track is straight fire.

Watch the video Below

"'cold day in hell' was the final song we wrote for our upcoming debut EP," the band says. "It's about those moments where we feel trapped in a never-ending cycle of self-doubt and turmoil. Sometimes, those moments can feel tremendously heavy, like where every day feels like Groundhog Day — in the worst way. We've learned that the only true way out is through. This is an anthem for all of those who are fighting their own battles, offering support and hope amidst the struggle of the human condition.”

rosecoloredworld combine catchy melodies with honest, self-reflective, and narrative-driven lyrics. The band was formed by two artists, Rae and Addison, who met in Hollywood through a mutual friend. Their music has been described as a safe place where people from all walks of life can feel accepted, seen, and celebrated for being exactly who they are. By creating this community, it gives anyone permission to live with a sense of freedom and create their own rosecoloredworld.

The new music was produced by Tom Denney (A Day To Remember, Dayseeker, Pierce The Veil, Wage War). The band recently played at Kill Iconic Fest and opened for both SUM 41 and NOAHFINNCE. They will hit the road with The Dangerous Summer this June and July. All tour dates are below.

INFERNO FESTIVAL NORWAY 2025 Announces Hotel Deals

“Something strange and magical happens in the town of Oslo, Norway over Easter week. Most of polite society flees to the mountains while a scourge of metal heads pour in from all over the globe to experience the four day extravaganza of extreme metal, hedonism & hepatocyte known as Inferno Festival. Subsequently, the entire city becomes a misanthropic miscreant’s soggy dream come true, and we’ve got the whole place to ourselves!” - Metal Injection

INFERNO FESTIVAL NORWAY is now revealing hotel deals for the 2025 edition, which will take place in Oslo (NO) from April 17-20 for another blasphemous Easter! The official festival hotel partner is once again the Clarion Hotel® The Hub. Fans can now book their rooms at a discounted rate using the code "INFERNO," which is good until March 17, 2025! For more information can be found via the official Inferno Festival Website or directly via the hotel's website.

The audience, artists, media, and music industry personnel will gather at Clarion The Hub for happenings, partying and a good night sleep.

Moreover, The Inferno Music Conference will take place at the hotel prior to the festival doors opening on Thursday and Friday, for which more info will be revealed soon! Hotel guests will also be treated to an epic and inclusive breakfast buffet that runs until 11:00 A.M. (it's worth waking up early for!) as well as free access to the swimming pool and sauna.

The Hub boasts Oslo’s best location, right in the city centre, next to Oslo Central Station and the

Airport Express Train. It's also only about a five-minute walk from the iconic rock bars and venues in which Inferno Festival will be hosting bands and special events: Rockefeller & John Dee, Salt, Kniven, Vaterland, Brewgata and Rock In, allowing guest to travel freely without the expense of taxis or transit.

INFERNO FESTIVAL NORWAY 2024 was once again another major success, filled with once-in-a-lifetime performances and enviable experiences only available to attendees! The epic four-day festival overtook several venues in Oslo during Easter weekend, bringing blasphemy and hellfire to the holiest of days. For those who missed it, we bring you a recap of some of the highlights as a reminder not to sleep on tickets for the 2025 edition, which will take place from April 17-20. Demand is so high that Early Bird tickets have already sold out entirely, but fret not as more will be made available soon at THIS LOCATION.

This year featured a stacked lineup of artists who ranged from iconic headliners to artists emerging from the underground, as well as a mixture of extreme metal such as Misþyrming and Saor, prog acts Cynic and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and even epic, esoteric acts such as Jo Quail. Among the highlights includes the once-in-a-lifetime set from Norway's own Dimmu Borgir, who were joined by three former members: bassist/vocalist ICS Vortex, keyboardist Mustis, and drummer Tjodalv during "Spiritual Black Dimensions." Fan filmed video of the legendary set can be found by Marko Vladilo of the band KRYN at THIS LOCATION.

PROFANATICA are at the vanguard of the first wave of American black metal. Founded and led by infamous master of black perversion Paul Ledney (drums/vocals), they have purveyed primeval blasphemy for nigh on thirty-three years.

Ledney formed the band from the ashes of the first INCANTATION lineup when he split and took with him all of the members sans John McEntee. That early trio of ex-INCANTATION members reeled off three ground-breaking demos of some of the most extreme and blasphemic metal of its time in rapid succession. The band flyers that permeated the tape-trading circuit were no less shocking and featured the trio bloody and naked and in the throes of what was most certainly a primeval summoning of some kind. In short order, they had inked a deal with the fledgling Osmose Productions for what became one of that labels first releases (Osmose release #5); a legendary split with Colombia's MASACRE.

Something so volatile could only last briefly, and after another brief recording session the band collapsed under the weight of its own extremity. but the recordings made in this two year window went on to see dozens of reissues in the coming decades, in a testament to how formidable and formative they are to the black metal scene worldwide.

After almost fifteen years spent with his equally polarizing solo project HAVOHEJ, Ledney reignited the flames of PROFANATICA in 2006. Reemerging with a new deal from Hells Headbangers, Ledney and his new band released 'The Enemy of Virtue', a collection of that vaunted early material, and a new fulllength, 'Profanatitas de Domonatia'. A triumphant return, 'Profanatitas de Domonatia' picked up right where these Kings of US Black Metal left off, delivering a savage stream of chainsaw guitars and relentless battery upon which they desecrated everything sacred.

This set-in motion another frenetic burst of work for PROFANATICA. The next decade saw them

unleash four new full-length albums of blasphemous perversions, sacrilegious incantations, and furious black metal. In addition, the band issued six mini-albums and EP's, a full DVD of early footage, and began touring internationally in Europe and in Central and South America. For the first time PROFANATICA were appearing near or at the top of the bill at festivals like Maryland Death Fest, Messe Des Mortes, Hells Headbash, Prague Death Mass (Czech Republic), Chaos Descends (Germany), Black Sun (Spain), Tyrant Fest (France), SWR Fest (Portugal) and many more.

In fall 2018, PROFANATICA joined forces with Season of Mist and undertook their biggest tour to date supporting WATAIN and ROTTING CHRIST across Europe. And a year later, the trio vomited forth a most vulgar strain of black metal ejaculate with their SoM debut album 'Rottng Incarnation of God.'

The band embarked on an extensive twelve-country European headline tour in the album's wake. Shortly after returning home that winter, the world ground to a halt in 2020. Save a live-streaming concert production for the legendary Rock al Parque in conjuncton with BATUSHKA, little was heard from PROFANATICA.

That is until spring 2023, when PROFANATICA emerged from their den of iniquity on a European headline tour to promote a new album. 'Crux Simplex' is a ten-track offensive of sin and sacrilege, a nasty affront that bastardizes the first 10 stations of the cross. As per their legacy, PROFANATICA deals in bestial, first-wave black metal barbarity, and their eighth album unveils ungodly levels of bile and blasphemy.

Mayhemic Slaughter of the Heavens – Drums / Vocals

Destroyer of Holy Hymen – Guitar

The True Perversion of the Heavenly Father – Bass

Hootie & the Blowfish From the Vault: "For What It's Worth" Available This Friday

Generation-defining pop-rock band Hootie & the Blowfish sets the stage for a return to the road this summer with this Friday’s release of their rendition of “For What It's Worth,” the timeless anthem originally penned by Stephen Stills in 1966. The band’s version of this iconic song, recorded in 2017 during their studio sessions for Imperfect Circle, is finally emerging from the vault in conjunction with the kickoff of their Summer Camp With Trucks Tour, their first in five years. Pre-save HERE.

During that first return to the studio in nearly 15 years, longtime producer Don Gehman encouraged the band – which has long prioritized songs that make a statement, including “Drowning” and even “Hold My Hand” as far back as their 1994 Cracked Rear View debut – to pay homage to one of the most influential protest songs of all time.

“For us, adding our voice to ‘For What It's Worth’ is about more than just a great song,” front man Darius Rucker reflects. “It's about standing up for what you believe in, speaking out against injustice and trying to find a sense of unity. In today’s world, where there is so much division, this song carries a message that is as relevant as ever.”

The release of “For What It's Worth” comes as Hootie & the Blowfish gears up for their Summer Camp with Trucks Tourwith special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain. This marks the first full tour since 2019 for the band whose chart-topping, GRAMMY-award winning career has featured more than 25 million albums sold, including their 2x Diamond-certified debut album Cracked Rear View – which remains among the top 10 best-selling albums in all of music history – plus 17 Billboard-charting songs to date.

The tour kicks off May 30 in Dallas and runs through the fall, visiting arenas, amphitheaters and select stadiums such as Boston’s iconic Fenway Park (with special guests Barenaked Ladies) along the way, including a homecoming to Columbia, S.C.’s Colonial Life Arena for the Gamecock alumni. The band will also headline Rucker’s own Riverfront Revival Music Festival in their home state in October. Tickets to all shows are on sale now via Hootie.com.

About Hootie & the Blowfish
With the rich, bluesy vocals of Darius Rucker and gleeful harmonies of guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber and drummer Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, Hootie & the Blowfish have sold over 25 million records worldwide to date after their infectious melodies hit the airwaves in 1994 with hits such as “Hold My Hand,” “Let Her Cry” and “Only Wanna Be With You.” The quartet met at the University of South Carolina where endless gigs at frat houses and local bars built a major local buzz. Their blend of pop, folk, blues, soul and rock made them hard to pigeonhole, but easily accessible to anyone who loved good music.

Atlantic Records, impressed by their regional draw, signed them and released Cracked Rear View in 1994. The album had been out for six months before the band played on the Late Show with David Letterman which sent sales skyrocketing, eventually landing at No. 1 on the Billboard chart the following spring. Cracked Rear View and the band went on to win two GRAMMY Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, a Billboard Music Award and multiple People's Choice Awards. Cracked Rear View also earned the band Billboard's Band of the Year Award in 1996 and the RIAA's Diamond Award for sales in excess of 10 million units. At 21x Platinum, Cracked Rear View remains among the Top 10 best-selling studio albums in music history.

The band remained a top draw nationwide following their debut and released five more albums for Atlantic: Fairweather JohnsonMusical ChairsScattered, Smothered & CoveredHootie & the Blowfish and The Best of Hootie & the Blowfish, as well as Looking For Lucky on their own Sneaky Long Records and LIVE in Charleston, The Homegrown Concert Event DVD and CD. The band took a break from full-time touring in 2007, reuniting annually for a variety of philanthropic events while also pursuing solo projects. 2019 marked the band's first full-time touring year in over a decade as they embarked on the sold-out Group Therapy Tour in support of Imperfect Circle, released in late 2019 under a new record deal with Universal Music Group’s Capitol Nashville, and 2024 will see them return to the road once again for the upcoming Summer Camp with Trucks Tour.

Dalton Dover Premieres Video for "Bury Me In This Bar" with CMT, CMT Music & Paramount Times Square Billboard

Lauded by Billboard for his “powerful voice,” UMG Nashville/Mercury Records recording artist Dalton Dover premieres the official music video for his rollicking track “Bury Me In This Bar” with CMT, CMT Music and Paramount Times Square Billboard ahead of the single’s official country radio add date on Monday, May 13. Watch the video Below.

“I feel like the concept of this video takes the song to the next level. It really paints you a picture of what it’d look like to actually be buried in a bar,” Dover shared with CMT.com. “I think the fun and lively nature of this song is represented well in this video and I hope fans see that and instantly smile and sing along!”

“Bury Me In This Bar” was written by Dover with Dan Isbell, Jamie Davis and Benjy Davis, and produced by longtime collaborator Matt McVaney (McV), as MusicRow praises, “Dover continues his winning ways with this romping, stomping honky tonker with flourishes of steel and galloping rhythm. Thirsty for real country music? Belly up to this bar. You need the song on your playlist, now more than ever.”

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of writing,” Dover shares. “We really wanted to capture the fun and energy of those ‘90s country bar anthems that you just can’t skip or resist singing along with when you hear it. I believe it’s one that would make my heroes proud, and we can’t wait to hear people sing it with us on the road.”

As the follow-up to Dover’s first official single “Giving Up On That,” which was most added at country radio upon its debut, “Bury Me In This Bar” earned notable playlisting upon its release, including Amazon’s Brand New Music and Breakthrough Country; Apple Music’s Best New Songs and Apple Music Country; Pandora’s New Country station; Spotify’s New Music Friday, New Boots, New Music Friday Country and the cover of Country Frequency; and YouTube’s RELEASED and Country’s New Crop.

Dover will perform across multiple stages at CMA Fest, including the Billboard Presents Bud Light Backyard lineup on June 7 at Tin Roof Nashville and Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park on Sunday, June 9.

He recently embarked on his first headlining club tour, the Never Giving Up On That Tour, and he will perform at festivals across the U.S. this summer before heading out to support Sam Hunt on the Locked Up Tour this fall.
