CRAIG MORGAN PERFORMS NATIONAL ANTHEM AT CHICAGO WHITE SOX AND NEW YORK YANKEES MLB HOME OPENERS

Country music star and Army Reserve soldier Craig Morgan performed the national anthem in uniform for the MLB home openers of the Chicago White Sox game on March 28 at Guaranteed Rate Field and the New York Yankees game on April 5 at Yankee Stadium (watch here). The newly appointed Warrant Officer 1, who had previously served seventeen years in the Army and Army Reserve with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, returned to service in the Army Reserve last year following his swearing-in on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on July 29, 2023. Watch the historic moment HERE.

In addition to his service to our country in the Army Reserve, Morgan has continued to tour and release new music, including October’s Enlisted  (Broken Bow Records). Just as the Army has called on Morgan, the Tennessee native has recruited some of his talented friends to contribute to his latest project, available now. Appropriately titled Enlisted, the six-track release offers new takes on four of his biggest hits along with two new tracks and includes appearances by an all-star group of performers including Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Gary LeVox, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, and Lainey Wilson.

Listen now at craigmorgan.lnk.to/Enlisted

Morgan just wrapped his headlining “God, Family, Country Tour 2023,” in partnership with Operation Finally Home. The tour and his recent record follow 2022’s release of his personal memoir — God, Family, Country, which he wrote with Jim DeFelice, #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of American Sniper. The book chronicles Morgan’s road to success, from his humble childhood in Tennessee to his years as an elite military operative to his country music stardom. Country music fans and thrill seekers alike will love this intimate look at his remarkable life. Learn more HERE.

About Craig Morgan:
A multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV personality, author, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. One of country music's best-loved artists, Morgan has amassed more than 1.5 billion career streams and charted over 25 songs on Billboard, thrilling massive crowds with signature hits including “Bonfire,” “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” “Soldier,” “That's What I Love About Sunday” and his faith-filled tribute to his son Jerry, “The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost.” Craig just released his newest project Enlisted, a six-song collection of reimagined hits and brand-new songs featuring collaborations with Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Gary LeVox, Blake Shelton, and Lainey Wilson.

Craig received one of country music's highest honors when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Morgan served seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserve and in 2023 enlisted in the Army Reserve, continuing his military career as a Warrant Officer. Morgan remains an avid supporter of America's military personnel and has made more than sixteen overseas trips to perform for our troops. He is a member of the U.S. Field Artillery Hall of Fame and recipient of the USO Merit Award. In 2018, he was awarded the Army’s Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, one of the highest awards the Department of the Army can bestow upon a civilian, in recognition of his significant dedication to our military men and women around the world. He remains committed to supporting active duty and veteran members of our military through work with Operation Finally Home, the USO and more.

Craig just wrapped his popular “God, Family, Country Tour 2023,” in partnership with Operation Finally Home, headlining run, which played thirteen theater and auditorium dates. God, Family, Country, Craig’s gripping new memoir, was released in partnership with Blackstone Publishing. He details all aspects from his inspiring life, revealing never-before-heard stories including how he worked alongside the CIA as a soldier in Panama, fought sex traffickers as an undercover agent in Thailand, forged his own path to country music stardom, and lives his life by the deepest values: God, family, country.

BLEED FROM WITHIN | Release Video For 'Killing Time'

Bleed From Within have had an extraordinary couple of years. In April, they'll be hitting the road for a month-long USA and Canada tour with The Ghost Inside, Paleface, and Great American Ghost, and are also looking ahead to a string of summer festival appearances including their Hellfest debut, Download Festival and Graspop, plus a couple of German shows with Shadow Of Intent, The Acacia Strain and Fuming Mouth. Not to mention that they'll be capping off this year in the finest way by playing as special guests to Slipknot across the UK and Europe, for Slipknot's 'Here Comes The Pain' tour celebrating the Iowan's 25th anniversary.

Today, Bleed From Within have released an immense, high-energy video for their track 'Killing Time' made up of some touring highlights from the past few months. 'Killing Time' has become a set-list favorite throughout their recent runs, the track coming from their latest studio album Shrine.

Ali Richardson stated:
"As we approach the end of the Shrine cycle, we've been looking back at everything that we've achieved with this release. It has been a truly amazing couple of years, taking us thousands of miles around the world. The perfect setup to the next chapter of our band. The lyrics for Killing Time are personal, but I hope that the clear message about making the most of the time we have left will resonate with those reading them. The song always stood out to us and our fans, so it has been great to give it a place in our live set and celebrate it with this video. Shot and edited by our close friend and long-time videographer/photographer Tom Armstrong, we hope you enjoy this montage as much as we do. A true celebration of the band's journey over the last couple of years!"

Steven Jones from the band stated,
''Upon releasing 'Shrine' in June 2022, it's safe to say that none of us expected what the following months would bring. It's been a hell of a year, with our most rigorous touring schedule yet putting us in places we've dreamed of since we started the band. This era of Bleed From Within is something we have worked so hard toward, and in this moment we are extremely grateful to all those who have made it possible. To all of our fans who fill the rooms and sing the words, to the team behind the scenes who keep the cogs moving on tour, in the studio, and everywhere between, and to the creative minds that help us bring our music to life - thank you. 17 months since its original release, we are so proud to now present this limited and deluxe edition of 'Shrine', featuring all of the songs that were recorded during the sessions. Here's to the months and years ahead!''
Bleed From Within have been to hell and back, but they are no strangers to enduring hardship. When a global pandemic threatened to shut down their plans, the Glaswegians collectively raised five middle fingers and pressed on. It’s no surprise that this unstoppable riff machine continues to crush forward at such a frantic pace – there's no putting the breaks on the heaviest band to ever emerge from Scotland.

The band’s reputation as one of the most formidable forces in modern metal has earned them tour slots with MegadethLamb Of GodTestament, and Heaven Shall Burn, to name just a few. The last few years has seen them dominate the UK live scene and take Europe and America by storm.

Shrine has taken the most graft to put together of any record in their catalog, challenging their self-perception on both personal and technical levels - the culmination of two years of hard work that embodies their artistic might. Armed with the learnings of evolving their sound over the last decade without ever losing sight of their DIY roots, this is Bleed From Within at their very best. There’s no denying the band’s inevitable next steps are world domination, with Shrine a turning point moment.

Bleed From Within are:
Scott Kennedy - Vocals
Craig Gowans - Lead Guitar
Steven Jones - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals
David Provan - Bass
Ali Richardson - Drums

The Mendenhall Experiment On Tour Now with Scream at the Sky!

The Mendenhall Experiment is proud to announce the release of their latest single, "Say It." This dynamic track is set to drop on April 12th via Lucent/UMG, a division of Universal Music Group and marks the second release from their forthcoming EP, Chasing Ghosts.

Mendenhall talks about the single, "'Say It' was a different process for us, the song came together organically as a full band, with everyone throwing in their flavor on the fly. It was one of those 'magic moments' as a band where everything just flowed out of us and the song came together in an evening. It stands as one of our heaviest songs in the catalogue.”

Vocalist Alyce Hayes adds, "'Say It' is a song about speaking your truth, even when you're scared, or when you feel unheard. It's a personal mantra and reminder for myself, really. We can't fully become who we're meant to be until we can speak for ourselves. When the guys sent me the music, I was immediately inspired. I think I had the lyrics written in about 30 minutes. 'Say It' is asking the question: 'What if I don't stay silent? What if my words have power?' Because they do. Words absolutely have power."

“If you asked me why I want to be a rock star...it’s not about the fame or money,”guitarist/ songwriter Brandon Mendenhall states. “I have a unique opportunity to inspire people and kids with disabilities with my playing, my music and my story. I truly believe that's what I was put on this earth to do.”

Born with Cerebral Palsy, an incurable neurological disorder affecting movement, coordination and, balance; Brandon Mendenhall faces numerous challenges. With limited movement on his left side and zero mobility in his left hand, the odds were stacked against him from birth.

However, inspired by acts such as Korn and Pantera, Brandon taught himself how to play guitar at the age of 19, rehabilitating his left hand without surgical intervention. “Once I was able to get a guitar in my hands, it changed my life,” he says. That passion for music sparked something in his soul and a dream began to form...a dream that was thought to be impossible: Brandon wanted to play guitar and form a band. He recalls, “My grandfather told me,‘You’ll never be a guitarist. Don’t even try.’ And that crushed me. Those words lit a fire in me. I was determined that I could do this.”

The Mendenhall Experiment was born as Brandon's own personal aspiration to be in a world-famous band while working within the limitations of Cerebral Palsy, knowing full well that the cards were stacked against finding musicians willing to work with him. Possessing a fierce desire to succeed, Brandon went to visit a friend in the Rock & Roll Mecca of Los Angeles- and never left, pursuing his dream with relentless tenacity and bulldog determination. Failure was not an option.

Formed in 2008, The Mendenhall Experiment also features bass player Nathan Stockton, who overcame a disability of his own-childhood deafness-through the power of music. He and Brandon are joined by Alyce Hayes on vocals, Mike Lira on guitar, and Justin Lubeck on drums.

Based in Southern California, TMX has been regularly performing on the infamous Sunset Strip in addition to gigs throughout the region opening for the likes of such metal mainstays as John 5, POD, Alien Ant Farm, Kill Devil Hill, Fear Factory, Prong, Flaw, Metal Allegiance, Smile Empty Soul, Cold, and more. In 2013, the five-piece performed at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, sharing the stage with Korn, Megadeth, and Five Finger Death Punch.

A breakthrough occurred on June 17, 2014, when TMX made it to the final round of The Battle of the Bands for Warped Tour. After an electrifying performance that left the audience screaming for more, The Mendenhall Experiment took second place. The subsequent buzz reached the discerning ears at Liquid Bit Music Productions and in August 2014 TMX inked a publishing deal with the company, six years to the day after the initial incarnation of The Mendenhall Experimentperformed its first show in Brandon's hometown of Kankakee, Illinois. Shortly thereafter, the quintet put pen to paper again to sign their first development deal with Lucent Records, including national digital distribution through Universal Music Group.

TMX’s inspiring and energetic performances strive to bring a positive message to the masses. They stand strong for disability awareness in support of Brandon, who observes, “At our shows, we are starting to see the impact of our mission to inspire others on a consistent basis. Our fans and supporters come to us and give their personal testimonies and praise about how we are touching their lives, and the lives of others with disabilities.” The music and lyrics resonate far beyond the disabilities, inspiring people to seize every day and celebrate life.

The Mendenhall Experiment began recording their current EP in various studios in Los Angeles with the help of some very special guests: James “Munky” Shaffer (Korn) and Danny Lohner (NIN/A Perfect Circle). The EP is available everywhere online and the debut single, “Seize the Day”, has received over thirty-thousand views on Vevo/YouTube.

The music video was acclaimed Video of the Year at the 2015 LRT Music Video Awards in Hollywood,California, celebrating independent music, while Brandon was deemed Trailblazer of the Year at the 2015 United Cerebral Palsy Los Angeles Art of Care annual event. In addition, he was also named celebrity ambassador for Day Trippers, a UK-based charity assisting disabled people in Great Britain. A feature documentary film detailing Brandon and the band’s story, Mind Over Matter, was released in 2019; directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Paquet (Korn,Wounded Warriors). In 2016 TMX made a triumphant return to the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, graduating to the main stage and playing to over four-thousand wildly enthusiastic fans. TMX has also performed at the 2017 Rocklahoma festival. So far the band has completed six tours which are comprised of three headlining tours and three national tours. In 2019 they released the singles "Unwanted" and a surprise acoustic version of "Nothing Good Came Easy" to much acclaim from fans. Currently The Mendenhall Experiment is back in the studio and have just finished shooting a music video for "Prosthetic" which features Munky from Korn. The Mendenhall Experiment is also currently sponsored by Monster Energy, Ibanez Guitars, EMG Pickups, SIT Strings, and InTune Guitar Picks.

Brandon maintains a vision for TMX that some may deem unrealistic: “I am confident that as The Mendenhall Experiment brand continues to grow and see greater success, we can begin to inspire people on a global scale with our music, touching not only the lives of individuals but also changing the global perception of people with disabilities.” But considering all that he's overcome thus far, it would be difficult to bet against Brandon and “The Experiment” that bears his name fulfilling those goals!

The Mendenhall Experiment is:

Brandon Mendenhall - Rhythm Guitarist

Alyce Hayes - Vocalist

Mike Lira - Lead Guitarist

Nathan Stockton - Bassist

Justin Luebeck - Percussionist

Miranda Lambert Returns to the Road as 'Velvet Rodeo' Las Vegas Residency Concludes

With the twice-extended Velvet Rodeo residency praised by People for allowing Miranda Lambert to “shine vocally as she seamlessly traversed her deep catalog” having come to a close in Las Vegas this weekend, the Entertainer of the Year will now bring her dynamic live show to a series of one-off dates across the country this summer, with additional shows to be added in the coming weeks.

Joining headlining sets at Stagecoach, Rock the Country, Calgary Stampede, Under the Big Sky and more, as well as a three-night stand at Whitewater Amphitheater in her home state of Texas, the three-time GRAMMY winner now adds six shows throughout July, August and September spanning from coast to coast. Tickets to the newly added dates go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. local time via MirandaLambert.com.

“I’ve been touring since I was 19 years old, so it was nice to step away from the road for a bit and settle into Vegas,” reflects Lambert. “That gave us time to miss touring though, so I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira, my home away from home, and visit the fans across the country that we haven’t seen in a while.”

Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo kicked off at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater in September of 2022, spanning 48 total shows in the 18 months that followed. During that time, she has released cross-genre collaborations with both Leon Bridges and Enrique Iglesias while also intentionally taking time to write and record new music of her own; launched her own label imprint, Big Loud Texas; and even added New York Times best-selling author to her lengthy list of accolades with the release of her book, “Y’all Eat Yet?”

Tear It Down, Pack It Up: Kenny Chesney Wraps Nashville SUN GOES DOWN 2024 Rehearsals

Five weeks of lining up lighting cues... playing with the set list... pulling out some old favorites... working out a couple surprises... tweaking the video for the screens... and mostly, having fun honing one of the tightest, high-energy playlists in the nation, Kenny Chesney called it a wrap twelve days before his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour kicks off at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. With the show already selling out – and more tickets being found and released all day Friday – the man the Minneapolis Star Tribune calls “country’s king of stadium concerts” is fired up about getting his summer started.

“The third happiest day of the year is when we load out of rehearsals,” says the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar, “because it means we’re ready to do the single greatest thing in the world: rock No Shoes Nation. Every year, it’s the small tweaks that can give us pretty major rewards when it comes to reaching the people all the way back beyond the pirate ship at Raymond James! And that’s a very good feeling to have, knowing what’s ahead.

“And having had my biggest show there last time we played, the idea we were having to find more tickets for No Shoes Nation... That says they’re gearing up to come hard, too. It sets a bar for how we wanna bring the music, and after missing a year, we’re gonna try to bring some very serious heat.”

Having spent last summer doing the more stripped down I Go Back 2023 Tour of those arenas and markets where he first rose to major headlining status, the only country artist to be on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 15 years is ready to gear up the major parking lot parties, stadium-sized guitar parts and an exchange of energy like no other.

“Last year’s tour really reminded me of the power of so many of the songs I’ve written or found and recorded,” Chesney says. “In an arena, it’s more intimate – and there’s room for the song to breathe and come back to you. In a stadium, what you get back is all the energy, all the voices, all the excitement. So I think Sun Goes Down will have some of that nuance in the songs to go along with all of the power and love coming off our stage.”

Running through an unprecedented three nights – August 23, 24, 25 – in what has become a No Shoes Nation tour-ending tradition at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium, the man the Wall Street Journal called “The King of the Road” is ready for action. In training since the top of the year, he’s just wrapped “the most fun year of rehearsals ever– and can’t wait to play.”

Drowning Pool, a name etched in the annals of modern rock history, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound, synonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude, returns to captivate audiences once again.

Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction. This breakout single propelled them to international recognition, leaving an indelible mark on the nu metal landscape. The song’s relentless energy and defiant spirit resonated with a generation, becoming an anthem for moshers, metalheads, and fans of electrifying live performances.

Ryan McCombs played a pivotal role in the band’s evolution, joining their ranks in the aftermath of the tragic loss of beloved frontman Dave Williams. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence breathed new life into Drowning Pool, solidifying their status as metal titans. Songs like “37 Stitches,” “Feel Like I Do,”and “Turn So Cold” catapulted them to new heights, earning them a place among the genre’s heavyweights.

Yet, Drowning Pool’s story is not just about music; it’s a testament to enduring friendships and a shared passion for their craft. Ryan’s return to the band in 2023 marks a reunion of kindred spirits, a return to the roots of their musical journey. As he succinctly puts it, “Just being back in the same room together after so many years… was a quick reminder as to why I considered them to be my best friends in the business back in the day.”

Their path has not been without its challenges. “Bodies” faced misinterpretations and controversy, with its lyrics taken out of context. Nevertheless, their music has persisted, embraced by the very culture that birthed it. “Bodies” remains an enduring anthem, not just for Drowning Pool but for metal culture as a whole. Its legacy lives on, inspiring new generations of fans. Guitarist C.J. Pierce captures the essence of their dedication: “I’d play ‘Bodies’ five times a night if people really wanted it that bad!” The song’s timeless appeal transcends generations, resonating with both the seasoned and the fresh-faced.

Drowning Pool’s return is a testament to the enduring power of their music, a reminder that their unapologetic spirit continues to strike chords with audiences worldwide. The band experienced a triumphant resurgence in 2023 and with new music on the horizon, a 2024/25 calendar proving that the demand for the band isn’t about to slow down.., Drowning Pool has a white knuckle grip on their present and future with no plans to slow down.

SHARPTONE RECORDS MEDIA ALERT: Alpha Wolf Release New Video

NEW ALBUM HALF LIVING THINGS OUT NOW — LISTEN

The wait is over — the staggering new era for Aussie metalcore behemoths Alpha Wolf has arrived with the release of the band's third studio album Half Living Things, officially out via Greyscale Records and SharpTone Records.

Also leveling up Alpha Wolf presence, the group have unveiled a brand new video for "Haunter"; a straight-up heavy masterpiece that balances its hooky chorus with full blown menace, both lyrically and instrumentally.

Black Tusk Premiere New Single

Black Tusk are debuting their new single "Breath of Life" with Decibel Magazine. The video was produced by Alexandra Petrovich. "Breath of Life" comes ahead of the band's new album, The Way Forward, which is out April 26 on Season of Mist.

"'Breath of Life' was a fun one to work on", says Chris "Scary" Adams. In addition to playing guitar and contributing vocals, Scary also produced and mixed The Way Forward at his studio Hidden Audio. "There were a few iterations as we were riffing alone, but once we all got together it really took shape. That's my favorite part about writing collaboratively. It really does come to life when everyone contributes".

"'Breath of Life' is a bludgeoning track that showcases the new versatility of having a second guitarist", says bassist and vocalist Derek Lynch, who makes his debut as a member of Black Tusk on The Way Forward. "We decided to bookend the chaos with some experimental synth parts that I feel set the tone for what's to come".

"Chaotic and raw, but also extremely catchy and memorable" - Metal Injection

"A no frills band that goes full throttle. Black Tusk are here to stay" - Heavy Music HQ

"
An engine-wrecking riff-fest from the Savannah badlands" - Metal Hammer

"Black Tusk are pretty much the only Georgia metal act who still sound like they hail from the home state of Sandra Dee and Uga" - Invisible Oranges

"
Alive, raw, furious, loud...they almost make your face vibrate" - Heavy Blog is Heavy

"
Black Tusk's combination of sludge, rock, hardcore and death metal remains fluid, fertile and most importantly, full of life" - Pitchfork

Black Tusk will then hit the road for more shows with their fans down south.

“The big theme of this record is putting your life back together.” That’s Black Tusk guitarist/vocalist Andrew Fidler talking about the band’s new album, The Way Forward. “When everything seems like it’s against you, put your head down and push through. Take those bad things that are happening and use them to help create.”

The Way Forward might be the Savannah swamp metal crew’s seventh album, but it marks many firsts for Black Tusk. It’s their first with their new lineup, which sees guitarist Chris “Scary” Adams and bassist Derek Lynch joining Fidler and drummer James May. Which also makes it Black Tusk’s first record with a two-guitar lineup. “We were able to add leads and harmonies and all kinds of stuff on the new record that we haven’t done in the past,” Fidler says. “As far as our records go, this one has the most guitar work.”

You can hear it in the squealing solo of “Dance on Your Grave,” the killer harmonies on ripper “Harness (The Alchemist),” and the glorious dual guitar interplay of the powerful title track.

“‘The Way Forward’ is my favorite song on the record,” Fidler says. “It’s based on a personal experience that everyone can probably relate to. I got divorced in 2020, and I kinda felt like my entire world was collapsing when that happened. But I pulled myself out of it. I realized that this one thing ending in my life isn’t the end of everything. I’m gonna find a way forward. I’m gonna figure out how to live my life and create and be happy and make new relationships. Which is what I’ve done.”

In true Black Tusk fashion, the new lineup has expanded their triple-vocal approach to quadruple. “Everyone is doing vocals,” Fidler says. “That’s always been a thing in Black Tusk. Derek said he’d never done heavy vocals before, so I was like, ‘Well, here’s the mic. Here’s some words. Yell at it and see if you like it.’ I was blown away the first time he did it. It sounded good as fuck.”

That’s Lynch on lead single “Brushfire,” a song for which he wrote the main riffs and lyrical concept. “That was my first real contribution to the band,” the bassist says. “Thematically, I wanted the aggressiveness of the lyrics to keep with the idea of pushing forward even when the world is trying to drag you down. The mood of the lyrics needed to match the pulverizing tempo of the song.”

The lyrics for second single “Dance on Your Grave” were written by May, who moved from Savannah to Athens, GA, in the time since Black Tusk’s last album. “It’s about his struggles through Covid and what this lifestyle can do to people,” Fidler says. “It’s about getting past the party lifestyle and continuing to do things that are creative.”

Meanwhile, “Breath of Life” distills Black Tusk’s lyrical philosophy into a righteous five-minute pummeling. “Scary came up with the main riff of this song, and it’s one of my favorite riffs on the record,” Fidler says. “I wrote the lyrics, and it’s just about darkness crushing everything. The world is a fucked-up place that we have to navigate through. That’s what a lot of Black Tusk songs are about.”

Black Tusk recorded The Way Forward at Adams’ own Hidden Audio studio just outside of Savannah. Adams engineered the album and the whole band produced. “I actually helped him build the studio in the detached garage next to his house,” Fidler explains. “Me and my carpentry company went out there to do it, and Scary helped.”

“We had about 90% of the riffs and song structures going into the studio, while still experimenting with ideas and inspirations,” Adams explains. “Sometimes we completely reworked parts, which made all the difference. For example, early versions of ‘Breath of Life’ and ‘The Way Forward’ are quite different than the record, and I love where they ended up. Though we did use a few effects and synths here and there for texture and space, to me this record still feels raw and powerful. It captures the feeling of being at a Black Tusk show.”

The cover art for The Way Forward was done by Brian Mercer, who also created the sleeve for Black Tusk’s 2018 album, T.C.B.T.T.C.B.T. had a dark cover because it was a dark time for the band,” Fidler says, referring to the period immediately after the passing of their longtime friend and bassist Jonathan Athon. “This time, it’s full blown, full-color Black Tusk. Brian Mercer and James collaborated on the concept, and Brian really knocked it out of the park.”

“The title is kind of a double play,” Fidler says. “It’s the first record with the new lineup, and this is the direction we’re taking the band in. We’ve been doing Black Tusk for 19 years now, and we still love it. That’s why we called it The Way Forward.”

Kenny + Team Finding A Few More Tickets for Tampa SUN GOES DOWN Kick-Off

When Kenny Chesney asks, evidently Kenny Chesney gets. Deep into rehearsals for another herculean two hour-plus stadium set – culling all the No. 1s and even more Top 5 hits – that will delve into the superstar’s life-affirming, feel-good-where-you-are catalogue, the news that three of his most stalwart cities had sold out landed with both euphoria – and disappointment.

“Everybody wants to hear their show’s sold out,” Chesney explains. “That’s the idea, right? But I’ve always felt like everyone who wants to be there, they should be. It’s part of what made us start doing stadiums all those years ago seem like something I wanted and needed to do... It’s why we did last year’s I Go Back Tour: to share all the life in this music with the people whose lives and memories were part of my songs...

“So after I got the text, I thought about it for a minute. I called the promoter and said, ‘Remember when you used to find tickets when shows sold out? Came up with creative ways to make more seats available?’ Everybody on the other end laughed, remembering. Then I said, ‘Can you do that in Tampa? Can we find some more tickets? We’re two weeks out, I know some people have to wait ‘til closer to the date. Can you make that happen?’”

And with the same commitment that went into building No Shoes Nation, creating a season of stadium concert experiences that’s defined summer for almost two decades, the team behind Chesney’s place as the only country artist on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Past 25 Years for the last 15 years went to work. This close to show in a venue Chesney’s been setting records at for years, it’s not a perfect process, but it’s going to make more seats available.

Throughout the day – Friday, April 5 – tickets will be made available through primary ticket sources. These are actual direct sale tickets, not something available on the re-sale market. As groups of seats are identified and activated, they will be put on-sale all day long. If seats sell out, keep checking as more will be offered until whatever tickets are released are gone.

“I know my ask was just what they wanted to hear,” Chesney says with a laugh. “But I know Louis Messina and his team understand what a big deal No Shoes Nation is to me, how much I love hearing ’em sing – that idea of no fan left behind. They laughed when I suggested it. Then came back to tell me that if I was okay with this rolling ticket sales option, they would go to work to open more seats as quickly as possible. To me, making it work is what it’s all about.”

Sun Goes Down 2024 kicks off April 20 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. Starting later today, several hundred members of No Shoes Nation will be able to be part of the party.

CHAYCE BECKHAM’S DEBUT ALBUM, BAD FOR ME, AVAILABLE NOW

Scoring his career-first #1 on country radio this week with PLATINUM hit single “23,” the 2024 CMT Music Awards nominee and Billboard’s April Rookie of the Month Chayce Beckham today releases his highly anticipated debut album, Bad For Me via 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG. Listen HERE. Featuring the iTunes All Genre #1 song, “23,” that streams over 7.7 MILLION per week with over 406 MILLION total global on-demand streams and more than 10 MILLION YouTube views, the project puts Beckham’s wild card under a microscope as his soul-searching songwriting takes centerstage.

Bad For Me is a collection of some of my favorite songs I’ve had the chance to be a part of,” says Beckham. “This album doesn’t just tell any story, it tells mine, and it’s all honest and true to my life in every way possible. I poured my heart and soul into this project, and I hope you enjoy it from beginning to end as much as I do.”

Carefully crafting a series of deeply personal stories, his true-to-Beckham mix of dusky Western sonics and smoldering rock energy come to the forefront, as fiddle, steel and loping rhythms stand beside a rebellious, untamed spirit and his rustic vocal.

Continuing to open his soul like most would never dare, Bad For Me’s themes like vice indulgence, guilt and romantic remorse are in plain view, joined by the inner struggle of a man wishing he was more. Battling the bottomless pit of wondering how things got the way they are, this album also shows an appreciation for life itself, and a promise to keep up the fight.

Produced by Bart Butler (Jon Pardi, Midland, Warren Zeiders), apart from “23” (Ross Copperman), the former fork-lift driver wrote nine of the 13 tracks (three solo), delivering standouts like the hell-raising but heaven bound lead track “Devil I’ve Been,” the evocative “Everything I Need,” the reflective “If I Had A Week,” as well as the eye-catching-titled earworms “Addicted And Clean” and “Smokin' Weed and Drinkin' Whiskey.”

While the three solo-writes, he wrote before he even won American Idol, including his career-first #1 single “23,” the poignant fan-favorite “Mama” that he actually performed on the show and the propulsive barroom rocker “Drink You Off My Mind.” Catapulting himself alongside superstars Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, as the fourth winner of American Idol to hit the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10, prior to “23,” the last Country Airplay #1 solely written by the soloist who also recorded it was Taylor Swift’s “Ours” in 2012.

With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the album reinforces Next Big Thing and Artist to Watch predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more.

Currently headlining his own “Bad For Me” Tour, Beckham will join Luke Bryan on his “Mind Of A Country Boy” Tour this summer and Parker McCollum on his “Burn It Down” Tour this fall. For tickets and all touring updates, visit www.ChayceBeckham.com.

About Chayce Beckham

Three years after becoming the only artist to win American Idol singing his own songs, 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG country artist Chayce Beckham is living proof of his belief that “You can’t tell someone how to write a song.” Currently nominated at this year’s CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year for his #1, PLATINUM hit single “23,” the fiery singer-songwriter laid out a course only he could follow, and today remains even more dedicated to his unique creative compass. A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, Beckham started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting after some hard times when he felt he had nothing left – and when combined with his warm vocal rasp on “23,” that drive helped him charm the nation on Idol's 19th season in 2021. With more than 406 million streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem debuted at #1 on both iTunes’ Country and All Genre singles charts, and now leads Beckham’s first album, Bad for Me – available now – as the emerging star finds his stride. Co-writing nine of 13 songs (three solo), the project shows Beckham opening his soul like most would never dare and embracing a timeless country-rock sound defined by fiddles, steel guitar, and plenty of against-the-grain attitude. With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the set aims to reinforce next-big-thing predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more, while Beckham hits the road with Luke Bryan this summer, Parker McCollum this fall and his own headlining 2024 “Bad for Me” Tour.

Little Miss Nasty Unleash Debut Album 'Weapon Of Choice' + Drop New Music Video "Buried In Sin"

The iconic innovators and game-changing pioneers of rock and metal burlesque Little Miss Nasty have today released their debut album 'Weapon Of Choice' along with the official music video for the single Buried In Sin. The stunning visual accompaniment is a sensual, charged-up celebration of the divine, dark feminine as well as an intensely powerful protest against those attempting to dismantle women’s rights and censor freedom of expression. When asked about the inspiration behind the album and music video, Little Miss Nasty’s iconoclastic leader Gina Katon commented:

"We aim to embody the complete essence of the divine dark feminine through art. Expressing female power and energy has been historically looked down upon by so much of society. As women, we’ve been made to feel small, told to be polite, and shamed if we have loud voices. Made to feel essentially unworthy. Women have been put in the shadows and silenced in so many ways throughout history and it continues all over the world today. Sure, politicians and social media companies can try to censor us, but we know that our art transcends all of that stuff. When we showcase our fearlessness on stage and on this album we empower not only women but all people. Little Miss Nasty is made up of strong, powerful, and unapologetic women and we have no qualms about celebrating our sexuality.

Little Miss Nasty fans also have the chance to see them heat up the stage on the Weapon Of Choice Tour 2024 alongside Whitney Peyton. Tickets are available at the link here, and click here for VIP package information. Stream 'Weapon Of Choice'here, watch the music video for Buried In Sin" below, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more Little Miss Nasty news coming soon.

KORPIKLAANI | release video for title track of new album 'Rankarumpu' which is out NOW

Today, Finnish folk metal superstars KORPIKLAANI, the cultural ambassadors for Finland, are celebrating the release of their new studio album, Rankarumpu. This marks the 12th full-length entry in their impressive discography. Alongside, a video for the album's title track has been unveiled today and can be watched below! Meanwhile, KORPIKLAANI are getting ready to embark on an extensive North American tour which will kick off next week. Scroll to the bottom for all dates!

KORPIKLAANI's twelfth studio album is once again classic folk metal, fast, energetic and dynamic, showing once again they are leaders in this genre. One of the most wonderful features of Rankarumpu is related to the folk instruments. Although KORPIKLAANI has done one or maybe even a couple of unforgettable things in the realm of folk metal, this time new permanent member Olli Vänskä's (ex Turisas) violin and Sami Perttula's accordion may surprise even die-hard fans. Rankarumpu was again produced by Janne Saksa and recorded at his Sound Supreme Studio and Korpiklaani’s HQMiehola Studios.

Singer Jonne commented:
"Rankarumpu is our fastest album, which was easy and fun to make. However, in contrast to the fun, the war theme rears its head here and there on the album because the world situation is so completely absurd and twisted at the moment. Violinist Olli Vänskä joined this album as a new member, while Tuomas Rounakari focused on his solo production. Olli was Tuomas’s deputy many times over the years when he was busy, so he was the only right choice as a member. He participated in the arrangements but also composed for this album. The song and video for Rankarumpu perfectly sums up what this band represents at its best, which is having fun together with our audience. This will even make the purists get dancing!"

Bryce Leatherwood Releases Ode to Parents’ Love Story w/ “The One My Daddy Found,” Out Now

As Republic Records / Mercury Nashville recording artist Bryce Leatherwood embarks on his debut headlining Neon Does Tour, which kicked off last night in Statesboro, Ga., the country crooner turned off the neon and found inspiration from home with his latest release, “The One My Daddy Found,” out now. Listen below.

Written by Leatherwood alongside Lynn Hutton and Chris Dubois, “The One My Daddy Found” finds Leatherwood reflecting on his parents’ 25-year love story, noting all of the qualities from their relationship he aspires to in his own life.

“My parents’ relationship is one I’ve always admired and has served as the basis of what I hope my future resembles,” Leatherwood shares of the song’s inspiration. “I wouldn’t be where I am without my parents supporting my music career and to thank them, I wanted to give them a song that captures how important they are to me.”

“The One My Daddy Found” is Leatherwood’s latest release as he continues to tease new music to come. The song comes as Leatherwood was featured in Boot Barn’s 2024 spring campaign Taking Flight, a highlight on up-and-coming country musicians.

About Bryce Leatherwood:
Bryce Leatherwood is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter who aims to carry the torch of country music and continue the legacy of legends prior. Bryce was born and raised in Woodstock, GA, and his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Bryce was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter, Bryce began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that still inspires him today. Bryce’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Bryce played college venues and continued to hone his stage presence and his country music repertoire. In late 2021 while still enrolled in college, Bryce formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Bryce’s goal was to take the stage and play the best of country music to all ages and audiences. After graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. In 2022, he competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December of 2022. Following his success on “The Voice,” Bryce signed with Republic Records / Universal Music Group Nashville and is currently hard at work on new music.

ERRA Share "Slow Sour Bleed" Video — WATCH // "CURE" Out Now

Prolific metalcore progressives ERRA will release their new album CURE, this Friday, April 5 via UNFD.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Slow Sour Bleed." Watch it below

The track is very special for the band and finds ERRA taking a sonic risk — to great reward.

"This song scratches an itch of influence that we haven't had the courage to explore in the past," says guitarist Jesse Cash. "We covered 'Heresy' a few years ago and it was so fun to listen to, so we wanted to do an original song in the spirit of Nine Inch Nails."

CURE is the band's sixth album and it highlights and expands on the forward-thinking sound and guitar-driven style that the band has built its reputation on. Following 2021's self-titled release, CURE is a stunning execution of both raw talent and surgical technicality. It's as emotional powerful as it is musically proficient, which is not an easy feat to achieve. Yet ERRA make it look and sound easy. CURE is a sonic thrill ride — one that you hope will never end.

Additionally, the band has announced its upcoming Spring 2024 headline North American tour, with Make Them Suffer, Void of Vision, and Novelists as support. The tour kicks off on April 23 in Philly and runs through June 2 in NYC. All dates are below, with several major markets already sold out. Get tickets here.

ABOUT ERRA:
ERRA
's sixth album, CURE, strengthens and deepens the forward-thinking progressive metalcore they built their reputation on. It's an album full of atmospheric ecstasy and moody groove on the heels of their stunning 2021 self-titled set. CURE charts an ambitious course for ERRA's next era.

Fueled by creative muses akin to Tool, Deftones, and Gojira, ERRA's body of work stands beside the best of the genre, with celebrated songs beloved by fans of contemporaries like Sleep Token and Spiritbox. A mathematic pummel akin to Meshuggah remains, but ERRA is decidedly in its own lane.

ERRA regularly appears on tastemaker playlists like Kickass Metal on Spotify. While several heavy bands are known to mine the rich potential of the juxtaposition between screaming and singing, the ever-opinionated Metal Sucks pointed out that "perhaps no band is doing this better than ERRA." Alternative Nation chose ERRA to represent Alabama in a list of The Best Metal Bands in Each State.

Titanic riffs and enchanting melodies litter the cerebral, immersive soundscapes powering each of their progressive metal albums. They've toured extensively, with bands including Bad Omens, TesseracT, Ice Nine Kills, Dance Gavin Dance, August Burns Red, and Northlane.

A pair of self-released EPs lead to a label deal for their debut album, 2011's Impulse. ERRA's sophomore set, Augment, was No. 1 on Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in 2013. Drift gave ERRA another Heatseekers No. 1 in 2016. The streak continued with Neon in 2018. ERRA (2021) garnered praise from critics and fans. CURE remains anchored in the progressive and technical style ERRA helped shape. It boasts a brilliant combination of creative energy and expansive accessibility.

ERRA is part mind-altering substance, part meditation, reveling in each musical moment of exultation. As a band of brothers and a creative force, ERRA strives to live in alignment with the present moment. As their music finds the balance between the crushingly heavy and the headily melodic, its members seek to find harmony between the needs of the individual and the natural flow of this shared reality.

This album celebrates friendship, unity and the feeling of belonging to a group, a tribe. Being a part of what most people would call the goth and post-punk community is, according to the band, a great privilege.

Of course, there are dark sides to everything, but after being on the road and meeting people from the music scene for so many years, the band have experienced a caring and welcoming community. Old and young. Some with a similar background and some just for the love of the music and the culture that comes with the lifestyle.

"No one is free from apprehension and fear. Everyone feels some kind of alienation in certain degrees. You might often think you need to camouflage yourself to be part of a context. Make a change to fit in the group. The need for friendship is strong so you adapt. Maybe not always the way you hoped. But then...  there are moments when we unite and harmonize with other people and feel an incredible community together. That feeling is priceless and a blessing. Friendship is love. It is important and worth fighting for," says Alex Svenson.

Following up their 2022 album 'Hunger', released via Nexilis Records / Schubert Music (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), these sessions capture the heart and essence of alternative rock. With electronic elements essential to the new recordings, 'Trickery' is also a salute to punk music, to which Then Comes Silence traces their roots.

After debuting with their eponymous album in 2012, Then Comes Silence put out two more albums before releasing 'Blood' via Nuclear Blast in 2016. Their subsequent 'Machine' album was jointly released via Oblivion/SPV and Metropolis Records in 2020.

Then Comes Silence has toured and played live with The Fields of the Nephilim, The Chameleons, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Bellwether Syndicate and Vision Video, as well as performing at Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party and W-Festival.

As of April 5, the 'Trickery' album will be available on vinyl and CD. It will also be released digitally everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. As for their upcoming North American live dates, tour tickets can be ordered now.

Enterprise Earth Drop "I, Divine" Official Music Video Taken From New Album 'Death: An Anthology' via MNRK Heavy

"It's hard to make a five-minute deathcore song interesting from start to finish, and Enterprise Earth nailed it on "The Reaper's Servant"... It's big. It's bold. It bangs." - Revolver

"Offering an initial glimpse of the devastation packaged onto the project, Enterprise Earth have shared an eviscerating first single in "King of Ruination" featuring Ben Duerr from Shadow of Intent. Coupled with a unnerving visual directed by Nick Chance, the future for Enterprise Earth couldn't look brighter." - Knotfest.com

"The djent is strong in the Washington deathcore stalwarts' latest, which is all ultra-low-tuned chug, pitch-shifter squeals and syncopated stop-start riffs that will flip your stomach - not to mention a solo so technical and unsettling it would make Fredrik Thordendal jealous." - Guitar World

"... "King of Ruination", a sprawling, technical, foreboding piece of dark magic. Bile-drenched one moment, beautifully crafted the next, it's an incredible place to kick off such a thoughtful and thrilling chapter." - idobi Radio

Enterprise Earth have unleashed the official music video for "I, Divine" (directed by Nick Chance) today via MNRK Heavy. Taken from their excellent latest album 'Death: An Anthology', the band have previously released "King of Ruination" featuring Ben Duerr from Shadow Of Intent, "The Reaper's Servant" with special guest Darius Tehraniof Spite, "Casket of Rust" and most recently, "Blood and Teeth". Speaking on today's release, guitarist, backing vocalist, and producer Gabe Mangold shared:

"'I, Divine' was one of the tracks written during our Tahoe Cabin writing session that quite literally started out as an inebriated mock of a Juicy J style trap beat, which is the piano melody you hear in the intro. Little did we know that upon returning to it the next day we found ourselves completely inspired by it and dove into writing a "real" metal song that turned into one of our favorite songs on the record. For the video, we wanted to capture the playful and fun vibe we found while writing so what better way to do it than by making a mock rap music video??

North American fans also have their chance to see Enterprise Earth hit the stage on their headliner Death: An Anthology North American Tour with Inferi, Crown Magnetar, and Tracheotomy as support (ticket info here). Watch the music video for "I, Divine" below and stream the track at the link here.

More than anything else, we share death in common. This universal eventuality unites us. In an evolutionary sense, it effectively ensures our equality. No matter who you are, you will die. Enterprise Earth explore death from a different perspective altogether. Rather than turn away from it, the U.S. quartet—Gabe Mangold [guitar, backing vocals, production], Brandon Zackey [drums], Travis Worland [vocals], and Dakota Johnson [bass]—face it head-on with their fifth full-length offering, DEATH: AN ANTHOLOGY [MNRK HEAVY]. Against an apocalyptic soundtrack of battering ram double bass drums, gut-punching guitars, and disarmingly dynamic vocals, the group present their most immersive and inimitable vision yet.

“The album is tied together by the overarching concept of death,” Travis states. “It’s easy to think of death as a separation of consciousness from the body, but we’re delving into the death of self, individuality, and relationships—whether romantic or platonic. Dying takes many forms. I grew up extremely religious, so death has always been on my mind. In any religion, the afterlife is the umbrella for all of your beliefs. I tend to think of death from a more philosophical standpoint these days.”

The band have always incited mosh pits and thought in equal measure. Since emerging during 2014, Enterprise Earth have logged two back-to-back debuts in the Top 10 of the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart, while Loudwire cited Luciferous among the “50 Best Metal Albums of 2019.” Hysteria Mag heralded 2022’s The Chosen as “a veritable masterclass in experimentation and reinvention that shows a highly skilled band transcending its roots and making steps to become leaders of a field still being created,” while Metal Injection summed it up as “a strong statement.” Plus having toured with the likes of Thy Art Is MurderDying FetusChelsea GrinFit For An AutopsyFallujahWithin Destruction, and more.

With Gabe once again in the producer’s chair, the musicians holed up in a Lake Tahoe cabin for nine days where they penned the bulk of DEATH: AN ANTHOLOGY. It marked the first time this lineup wrote together (and in-person) as well as with Travis on vocal duties.

“We fed off one another’s energy,” recalls Gabe. “These songs felt cohesive because of that. We all had a hand in the composition.”

In the end, death may be inevitable, but you can rely on Enterprise Earth for a release in the meantime.

“We wanted to make an album that feels like who we are as a collective,” the band agreed. “On the one hand, we hope you have fun listening to it. On the other, just know, ‘Death is real and it comes for us all’. One day, we won’t be here anymore. While we’re alive, we want to enjoy it.”
