Bryce Leatherwood Releases Ode to Parents’ Love Story w/ “The One My Daddy Found,” Out Now

As Republic Records / Mercury Nashville recording artist Bryce Leatherwood embarks on his debut headlining Neon Does Tour, which kicked off last night in Statesboro, Ga., the country crooner turned off the neon and found inspiration from home with his latest release, “The One My Daddy Found,” out now. Listen below.

Written by Leatherwood alongside Lynn Hutton and Chris Dubois, “The One My Daddy Found” finds Leatherwood reflecting on his parents’ 25-year love story, noting all of the qualities from their relationship he aspires to in his own life.

“My parents’ relationship is one I’ve always admired and has served as the basis of what I hope my future resembles,” Leatherwood shares of the song’s inspiration. “I wouldn’t be where I am without my parents supporting my music career and to thank them, I wanted to give them a song that captures how important they are to me.”

“The One My Daddy Found” is Leatherwood’s latest release as he continues to tease new music to come. The song comes as Leatherwood was featured in Boot Barn’s 2024 spring campaign Taking Flight, a highlight on up-and-coming country musicians.

Leatherwood’s Neon Does Tour will continue tonight in Knoxville, Tenn. before making additional stops in Birmingham, Ala.; Indianapolis, Ind. and more. To purchase tickets, visit bryceleatherwood.com

About Bryce Leatherwood:
Bryce Leatherwood is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter who aims to carry the torch of country music and continue the legacy of legends prior. Bryce was born and raised in Woodstock, GA, and his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Bryce was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter, Bryce began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that still inspires him today. Bryce’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Bryce played college venues and continued to hone his stage presence and his country music repertoire. In late 2021 while still enrolled in college, Bryce formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Bryce’s goal was to take the stage and play the best of country music to all ages and audiences. After graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. In 2022, he competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December of 2022. Following his success on “The Voice,” Bryce signed with Republic Records / Universal Music Group Nashville and is currently hard at work on new music.

ERRA Share "Slow Sour Bleed" Video — WATCH // "CURE" Out Now

Prolific metalcore progressives ERRA will release their new album CURE, this Friday, April 5 via UNFD.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Slow Sour Bleed." Watch it below

The track is very special for the band and finds ERRA taking a sonic risk — to great reward.

"This song scratches an itch of influence that we haven't had the courage to explore in the past," says guitarist Jesse Cash. "We covered 'Heresy' a few years ago and it was so fun to listen to, so we wanted to do an original song in the spirit of Nine Inch Nails."

CURE is the band's sixth album and it highlights and expands on the forward-thinking sound and guitar-driven style that the band has built its reputation on. Following 2021's self-titled release, CURE is a stunning execution of both raw talent and surgical technicality. It's as emotional powerful as it is musically proficient, which is not an easy feat to achieve. Yet ERRA make it look and sound easy. CURE is a sonic thrill ride — one that you hope will never end.

Additionally, the band has announced its upcoming Spring 2024 headline North American tour, with Make Them Suffer, Void of Vision, and Novelists as support. The tour kicks off on April 23 in Philly and runs through June 2 in NYC. All dates are below, with several major markets already sold out. Get tickets here.

ABOUT ERRA:
ERRA
's sixth album, CURE, strengthens and deepens the forward-thinking progressive metalcore they built their reputation on. It's an album full of atmospheric ecstasy and moody groove on the heels of their stunning 2021 self-titled set. CURE charts an ambitious course for ERRA's next era.

Fueled by creative muses akin to Tool, Deftones, and Gojira, ERRA's body of work stands beside the best of the genre, with celebrated songs beloved by fans of contemporaries like Sleep Token and Spiritbox. A mathematic pummel akin to Meshuggah remains, but ERRA is decidedly in its own lane.

ERRA regularly appears on tastemaker playlists like Kickass Metal on Spotify. While several heavy bands are known to mine the rich potential of the juxtaposition between screaming and singing, the ever-opinionated Metal Sucks pointed out that "perhaps no band is doing this better than ERRA." Alternative Nation chose ERRA to represent Alabama in a list of The Best Metal Bands in Each State.

Titanic riffs and enchanting melodies litter the cerebral, immersive soundscapes powering each of their progressive metal albums. They've toured extensively, with bands including Bad Omens, TesseracT, Ice Nine Kills, Dance Gavin Dance, August Burns Red, and Northlane.

A pair of self-released EPs lead to a label deal for their debut album, 2011's Impulse. ERRA's sophomore set, Augment, was No. 1 on Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in 2013. Drift gave ERRA another Heatseekers No. 1 in 2016. The streak continued with Neon in 2018. ERRA (2021) garnered praise from critics and fans. CURE remains anchored in the progressive and technical style ERRA helped shape. It boasts a brilliant combination of creative energy and expansive accessibility.

ERRA is part mind-altering substance, part meditation, reveling in each musical moment of exultation. As a band of brothers and a creative force, ERRA strives to live in alignment with the present moment. As their music finds the balance between the crushingly heavy and the headily melodic, its members seek to find harmony between the needs of the individual and the natural flow of this shared reality.

This album celebrates friendship, unity and the feeling of belonging to a group, a tribe. Being a part of what most people would call the goth and post-punk community is, according to the band, a great privilege.

Of course, there are dark sides to everything, but after being on the road and meeting people from the music scene for so many years, the band have experienced a caring and welcoming community. Old and young. Some with a similar background and some just for the love of the music and the culture that comes with the lifestyle.

"No one is free from apprehension and fear. Everyone feels some kind of alienation in certain degrees. You might often think you need to camouflage yourself to be part of a context. Make a change to fit in the group. The need for friendship is strong so you adapt. Maybe not always the way you hoped. But then...  there are moments when we unite and harmonize with other people and feel an incredible community together. That feeling is priceless and a blessing. Friendship is love. It is important and worth fighting for," says Alex Svenson.

Following up their 2022 album 'Hunger', released via Nexilis Records / Schubert Music (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), these sessions capture the heart and essence of alternative rock. With electronic elements essential to the new recordings, 'Trickery' is also a salute to punk music, to which Then Comes Silence traces their roots.

After debuting with their eponymous album in 2012, Then Comes Silence put out two more albums before releasing 'Blood' via Nuclear Blast in 2016. Their subsequent 'Machine' album was jointly released via Oblivion/SPV and Metropolis Records in 2020.

Then Comes Silence has toured and played live with The Fields of the Nephilim, The Chameleons, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Bellwether Syndicate and Vision Video, as well as performing at Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party and W-Festival.

As of April 5, the 'Trickery' album will be available on vinyl and CD. It will also be released digitally everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. As for their upcoming North American live dates, tour tickets can be ordered now.

Enterprise Earth Drop "I, Divine" Official Music Video Taken From New Album 'Death: An Anthology' via MNRK Heavy

"It's hard to make a five-minute deathcore song interesting from start to finish, and Enterprise Earth nailed it on "The Reaper's Servant"... It's big. It's bold. It bangs." - Revolver

"Offering an initial glimpse of the devastation packaged onto the project, Enterprise Earth have shared an eviscerating first single in "King of Ruination" featuring Ben Duerr from Shadow of Intent. Coupled with a unnerving visual directed by Nick Chance, the future for Enterprise Earth couldn't look brighter." - Knotfest.com

"The djent is strong in the Washington deathcore stalwarts' latest, which is all ultra-low-tuned chug, pitch-shifter squeals and syncopated stop-start riffs that will flip your stomach - not to mention a solo so technical and unsettling it would make Fredrik Thordendal jealous." - Guitar World

"... "King of Ruination", a sprawling, technical, foreboding piece of dark magic. Bile-drenched one moment, beautifully crafted the next, it's an incredible place to kick off such a thoughtful and thrilling chapter." - idobi Radio

Enterprise Earth have unleashed the official music video for "I, Divine" (directed by Nick Chance) today via MNRK Heavy. Taken from their excellent latest album 'Death: An Anthology', the band have previously released "King of Ruination" featuring Ben Duerr from Shadow Of Intent, "The Reaper's Servant" with special guest Darius Tehraniof Spite, "Casket of Rust" and most recently, "Blood and Teeth". Speaking on today's release, guitarist, backing vocalist, and producer Gabe Mangold shared:

"'I, Divine' was one of the tracks written during our Tahoe Cabin writing session that quite literally started out as an inebriated mock of a Juicy J style trap beat, which is the piano melody you hear in the intro. Little did we know that upon returning to it the next day we found ourselves completely inspired by it and dove into writing a "real" metal song that turned into one of our favorite songs on the record. For the video, we wanted to capture the playful and fun vibe we found while writing so what better way to do it than by making a mock rap music video??

North American fans also have their chance to see Enterprise Earth hit the stage on their headliner Death: An Anthology North American Tour with Inferi, Crown Magnetar, and Tracheotomy as support (ticket info here). Watch the music video for "I, Divine" below and stream the track at the link here.

More than anything else, we share death in common. This universal eventuality unites us. In an evolutionary sense, it effectively ensures our equality. No matter who you are, you will die. Enterprise Earth explore death from a different perspective altogether. Rather than turn away from it, the U.S. quartet—Gabe Mangold [guitar, backing vocals, production], Brandon Zackey [drums], Travis Worland [vocals], and Dakota Johnson [bass]—face it head-on with their fifth full-length offering, DEATH: AN ANTHOLOGY [MNRK HEAVY]. Against an apocalyptic soundtrack of battering ram double bass drums, gut-punching guitars, and disarmingly dynamic vocals, the group present their most immersive and inimitable vision yet.

“The album is tied together by the overarching concept of death,” Travis states. “It’s easy to think of death as a separation of consciousness from the body, but we’re delving into the death of self, individuality, and relationships—whether romantic or platonic. Dying takes many forms. I grew up extremely religious, so death has always been on my mind. In any religion, the afterlife is the umbrella for all of your beliefs. I tend to think of death from a more philosophical standpoint these days.”

The band have always incited mosh pits and thought in equal measure. Since emerging during 2014, Enterprise Earth have logged two back-to-back debuts in the Top 10 of the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart, while Loudwire cited Luciferous among the “50 Best Metal Albums of 2019.” Hysteria Mag heralded 2022’s The Chosen as “a veritable masterclass in experimentation and reinvention that shows a highly skilled band transcending its roots and making steps to become leaders of a field still being created,” while Metal Injection summed it up as “a strong statement.” Plus having toured with the likes of Thy Art Is MurderDying FetusChelsea GrinFit For An AutopsyFallujahWithin Destruction, and more.

With Gabe once again in the producer’s chair, the musicians holed up in a Lake Tahoe cabin for nine days where they penned the bulk of DEATH: AN ANTHOLOGY. It marked the first time this lineup wrote together (and in-person) as well as with Travis on vocal duties.

“We fed off one another’s energy,” recalls Gabe. “These songs felt cohesive because of that. We all had a hand in the composition.”

In the end, death may be inevitable, but you can rely on Enterprise Earth for a release in the meantime.

“We wanted to make an album that feels like who we are as a collective,” the band agreed. “On the one hand, we hope you have fun listening to it. On the other, just know, ‘Death is real and it comes for us all’. One day, we won’t be here anymore. While we’re alive, we want to enjoy it.”

Enterprise Earth Is:

Gabe Mangold [guitar, backing vocals, production]

Travis Worland [vocals]

Brandon Zackey [drums]

Dakota Johnson [bass]

Kenny Chesney Sells Out Tampa, Philly, 3 Bostons, SUN GOES DOWN Hard in No Shoes Nation

Evidently Kenny Chesney isn’t the only one who’s excited about getting the Sun Goes Down 2024Tour on the road. With two-and-a-half weeks until kick-off, No Shoes Nation has rallied to already drive three cities into the sold-out zone. After adding an unprecedented third show at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium, the almost-annual end of summer/end of tour closer two-night outside Boston expanded to three nights – and then sold out, along with the always fever pitch Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field show and tour kick-off at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

“I know how hungry I am, and the band is, to get out there and hear No Shoes Nation in full, no holds barred voice,” Chesney says. “And that starts not long after they open the parking lots up, and the sounds of all that tailgating starts wafting into our bus compounds. Sometimes I think they love these shows as much as we do. But knowing how much we love playing these songs to No Shoes Nation, it’s hard to imagine how that’s possible.”

Reached with the news at rehearsals outside Nashville, the man The Wall Street Journal crowned “The King of the Road” and the Los Angeles Times called “the people’s superstar” didn’t pause to celebrate. Taking it in, he was thrilled, but there was something else on his mind.

“With Tampa a few weeks away,” he said, “all I could think was: how do we get more people in Raymond James? To me, the whole point of kicking it off is to have absolutely everybody who wants to be there with us, singing the songs and having the time of their life in the stadium. It’s been a couple years, let’s let everyone in on that first night, new tour stadium energy.”

Pausing, he laughed, “Of course, after all these years, it’s awesome knowing these songs really are people’s life! The idea they want to come out, party with us, because something about what we sing and how No Shoes Nation rolls makes them feel alive? To me, that’s the greatest compliment and biggest affirmation an artist can have!”

Chesney called his promoters’ office back, suggesting this close to the show, but this far from when the music happens, surely there was something they could do. Happy for the news of the sell-out, he would be even happier if they could look at the sight lines, move things around on the field, even open up some obstructed views. If people wanted to be there, he wanted them under the flag on Raymond James’ pirate ship, raising their voices with everyone else.

“They’ve never let me down,” Chesney offers. “It’s one of those things where we want to make sure everyone can have a great experience, not just throw tickets up. Having done Tampa so many times, if there’s anyone who can figure out how to make it work, it’s the team who has helped us build it. Hopefully, before the weekend’s over, we’ll have some seats coming online... So if you wanted to be in Tampa, know I want you there, too – and we’re working on it.”

Once again, presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour brings all the high velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America’s favorite football stadiums.

DUSTIN LYNCH’S KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR SELLS OUT STANDING OVATION-WORTHY KICKOFF AT NASHVILLE’S RYMAN AUDITORIUM

Just days after being direct support on a two month-run on Blake Shelton’s BACK TO THE HONKY TONK TOUR, MULTI-PLATINUM star Dustin Lynch has launched his much-anticipated KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR, in support of his statement-making sixth studio album. Marking his first-time headlining the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, Tuesday night (4/2), the Tullahoma-native brought a SOLD-OUT standing ovation-worthy start to the 18-date trek that continues through next month with opener Skeez.

“We’ve been saying this for weeks. Literally, a bunch of times every day we’ve looked at each other on the bus and we’re like, ‘We’re headlining the Ryman!’ Not only that, you guys SOLD OUT the Ryman for us! That’s awesome,” shared Lynch onstage. “Thank you for spending your hard-earned money to be here with us tonight. That does not go unnoticed. A lot of our families are here tonight, and we get to support our families because you support our songs, our music, and our concerts – and we love you for it. Thank you very much for that.”

Adding the biggest production he’s ever brought on the road to the historic stage with a setlist curated from Killed The Cowboy (Broken Bow Records), including his current single and Jelly Roll collaboration “Chevrolet” that’s Top 30-and-climbing at Country radio, Lynch also pulled from his career batch of nine #1s like “Stars Like Confetti,” “Small Town Boy,” and “Good Girl” – a special shout-out to his mom who was in the audience, as it’s her favorite song. Keeping the celebration going post-show, Lynch hosted an official after-party at PBR Nashville, where he tried his hand at guest bartending, popped up behind the DJ booth, and even had a line dance dedicated to album release “Honky Tonk Heartbreaker” by the bar staff.

Tickets are selling fast as Lynch’s KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR stacks major city appearances in Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Boston, MA, St. Louis, MO, and more, before capping off May 11 at Harrah's Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, IA. Find full tour information and purchase tickets here. Since releasing his breakout debut album in 2012, he has become one of the most successful, recognizable, and dependable faces in Country music. Last headlining the PARTY MODE TOUR across eight months to sell-out crowds in 2022, the Grand Ole Opry member has played to over 4 MILLION fans spanning four headline tours, and hosted his own see-and-be-seen pool parties in Mexico, Las Vegas, NV, and Nashville, TN.

Next up, Lynch is vying for CMT PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR for his fiery play of “Thinking ‘Bout You” featuring MacKenzie Porter (from CMT Campfire Sessions) at the 2024 “CMT MUSIC AWARDS.” Watch the nominated performance below. The fan-voted award show airs live from the Moody Center in Austin, TX, on Sunday (4/7) (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on CBS, and is available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

ABOUT DUSTIN LYNCH:
Dustin Lynch has "built one of the most consistent recording careers in modern country music” (Billboard), achieving nine #1s; four Top 5 albums; 10 GOLD, PLATINUM, and MULTI-PLATINUM certified singles; and tallying over 4.4 BILLION cumulative global streams. His sixth studio album, Killed The Cowboy (Broken Bow Records), is boldly making a statement. The follow-up to Blue In The Sky, which delivered the history-making 2x PLATINUM, six-week #1 “Thinking ‘Bout You (feat. MacKenzie Porter)” – the most-played song at Country radio in 2022 landing at #1 on the Mediabase and #2 on the Billboard Year-End Country Airplay charts – also featured hit singles: #1 “Stars Like Confetti” and “Party Mode.” Currently on the KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR, Lynch has headlined packed venues and toured with Country’s biggest names like Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton. Since his PLATINUM breakout “Cowboys and Angels” in 2012, the Tennessee native has earned industry recognition as a Grand Ole Opry member, as well as high-profile nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and CMT Music Awards.

Buckcherry to Celebrate 25th Anniversary All Month Long!

Buckcherry's debut album turns 25 this year and the band is celebrating all through 2025.

Beginning April 6, frontman and founding member Josh Todd will take us down memory lane through a series of "The Story Behind The Song and Album" confessionals giving insight of the songs and the history behind some of the moments writing and recording the album. The videos will be released on the band's socials + website through the coming months.

Released on April 6, 1999, by DreamWorks Records, "Lit Up," "For the Movies," "Dead Again," and "Check Your Head" were released as singles. After peaking at #1 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, the album has sold in excess of 1,000,000 copies worldwide. The album was certified Gold by both the RIAA and Canada, making it DreamWorks' first Gold album.

"Lit Up" reached #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for three consecutive weeks and #33 on the Modern Rock Tracks in mid-1999 and peaked at #74 on Billboard’s Top 200. The song was not without controversy due to the lyrical references to cocaine, which even led to MTV censoring the video for broadcast, but that didn't stop it from becoming one of the most popular rock songs from the era and has since accrued nearly 70 million streams on Spotify and 23 million views on YouTube  It even made VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs in January 2009, landing at #98.

Visit Buckcherry.com and let the celebration begin!

Dayseeker Share Video for Acoustic Version of "Neon Grave"

Southern California's DAYSEEKER  Rory Rodriguez [vocals], Gino Sgambelluri [guitar], Ramone Valerio [bass], and Zac Mayfield [drums] — recently announced their forthcoming acoustic album Replica, which arrives digitally on April 19 and physically on June 14 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The stripped down, intimate renditions of familiar fan favorites highlight the band's songcraft and allow the listener to experience Dayseeker in an entirely new way. The collection also includes appearances from Holding Absence's Lucas Woodland and indie artist Amber DeLaRosa.

The band just dropped the video for their stripped down and emotionally immediate version of fan fave "Neon Grave." Watch it below.

"'Neon Grave' is about my father's battle and passing from cancer," states Rodriguez. "Getting to reimagine this one in a slower setting has a completely different emotion to it now."

Replica is the somewhat unexpected (yet welcomed) result of a specific gig in 2022, when the band's gear overheated at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Thinking on his feet, Rodriguez grabbed an acoustic guitar from the van, plugged in, and performed "Without Me." Soon, he had pulled together a five-song set on the fly as thousands of fans flocked to the stage.

"I felt like we let people down, but I had so many friends say, 'Everyone will remember the day your equipment stopped working and you still played the set as a really special moment’,'" he recalls. "It felt natural for our songs. We usually will do extra tracks for a Deluxe version or re-release, but we decided to commit to an entire acoustic album this time."

Dayseeker will also embark on a headline tour this spring. The tour kicks off April 19 in Tampa and runs through May 25 in San Diego. All dates are below, including spring festival appearances, such as Rockfest, Earthday Birthday, and more. Polaris, Rain City Drive, Avoid, and Ayron Jones are set to appear at select dates. Get tickets here

ABOUT DAYSEEKER:
Dayseeker are a quiet killer. The band has steadily built a buzz over the past several years — and they have reached a tipping point. Dayseeker have become a scene standout with 2019's Sleeptalk, which was hailed by Alternative Press as  "a warm and welcome release to higher ground" and as "much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene.

The album has gone on to accumulate over 125 million streams, and it positioned the band as a formidable force — and one that is primed to take its next big leap. In 2021, the band dropped a deluxe version of Sleeptalk, featuring four reimagined versions of album tracks, which offered fans a fresh and unique take on songs they already love. It also demonstrated the depth and breadth of the band's creative vision, scope, and possibilities. However, Dark Sun catapulted the band beyond the scene's stratosphere. The album is out now via Spinefarm and is at 80 millions streams.

ABOUT SPINEFARM:
Spinefarm represents some of the biggest and most important rock acts in the world. Founded in Finland in 1990, the label established itself as an independent powerhouse for successful European metal acts from Nightwish to Children Of Bodom. Acquired by UMG in 2002, Spinefarm Music Group is now home to a host of artists that reach millions of fans across the globe and showcases the very best in rock, punk and metal. From massive metal names such as Bullet For My Valentine (with over 3 billion streams to their name) to alt-rock legends Killing Joke and genre-benders Sleep Token, Spinefarm's artists are — and always have been —true leaders in their chosen field. The roster also includes renowned names like Atreyu, Airbourne, Saint Asonia, and While She Sleeps, as well as fast-rising young artists like Dayseeker, Dead Poet Society, Kid Kapichi, BRKN LOVE, and Creeper. Spinefarm, now flanked by associated SMG labels Candlelight (Emperor, Ihsahn, Urne) and Snakefarm (Marty Stuart, Austin Meade, The White Buffalo), has grown from its independent origins into a true global rock powerhouse.

Echos Announce Outlast Records Signing + Releases New Single + Music Video "CAROUSEL"

Echos fans, rejoice! Today, the industrial-tinged, ethereal chanteuse has announced signing with her new label home, Outlast Records. In celebration of the news, Echos released a brand new single "CAROUSEL". Accompanying the release is the official music video that serves as the visual counterpart to the evocative auditory journey of the single. Speaking about the track, Echos creatrix Alexandra Norton shared:

"'CAROUSEL' is about feeling trapped in a never-ending cycle with someone. I initially wrote this as a stream-of-consciousness poem and the line “peel my eyes out I’m on your carousel” is supposed to feel like a scoff at the situation “Here we go again…but for some reason I can’t figure out how to get off of this rollercoaster.

Los Angeles fans will also have their chance to see Echos' captivating live performance at School Night on Monday, April 15(ticket info here). Stream "CAROUSEL" at the link here, watch the official music video below, and be sure to stay tuned for more Echos news coming very soon.

Alexandra Norton, the voice and songstress behind Echos, weaves her music from the threads of her own tumultuous journey. "It's a sanctuary," she confides, her voice a blend of haunting vulnerability and quiet strength, “a place to make sense of my pain and give it a final resting place.”

Within the labyrinth of her words, she delves into the darkest recesses of human existence—abuse, self-inflicted wounds, and the relentless dance with thoughts of oblivion. Yet, amidst the shadows, she also touches on themes of resilience, introspection, and empathy. "It's about embracing the full spectrum of emotions," she reflects, “creating a space to feel, release, and heal."

With three albums already to her name, her latest endeavor promises to be her most cherished work yet—a testament to her evolution as an artist and her journey—a journey that resonates with listeners seeking solace and connection amid their struggles. Her voice, like a spectral echo, invites listeners to explore the depths of their emotions, rather than bury them in silence.

Kenny Chesney's SUN GOES DOWN 2024 Rehearsals Are ON

The tape is on the floor... Marley, the swordfish, is out of his road case... The walls of the hard concrete space are covered with massive screens... and country music’s most high-velocity band has reported for duty. Kenny Chesney, who has spent the last several weeks moving from cutting video to sorting through light cues, working up songs with his band and setting up BORN, his first new project in four years, is starting to bring it all together in anticipation of the first show of his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

“This is where it all starts to really feel real,” Chesney says with a laugh. “We’ve got the stage and the T taped off. We have room to really play off each other and jam while we’re dialing the songs back in. But even more, all the teams are together, and we’re catching up after so many months off! When you’ve got a road family like I do, it’s a rush just being together.”

With new footage for some of the old favorites, a few surprise additions to the set list and a few new songs, Sun Goes Down 2024 is taking on the momentum of a full-tilt summer supernova.

Having spent last spring and early summer with his taking-it-to-the-roots I Go Back 2023 Tour of those arenas and markets where he rose to major headlining status, the only country artist to be on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 15 years is fired up to get back to parking lot parties, stadium-sized guitar parts and a force field of energy like no other.

Running through Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. for the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour’s unprecedented three nights – August 23, 24, 25 – in what has become a No Shoes Nation tour-ending tradition, the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee is ramping up the music for another summer that says everything about being alive and grateful in the moment.

“I never take my band for granted,” explains the eight-time Entertainer of the Year. “When we get into rehearsals and the massive amounts of sound start bouncing off the walls, it just makes you stop and take it in. After all these years, there’s nothing like hearing Kenny or John or Danny taking a solo, and nobody plays drums like Nick Buda. Harmoni and Wyatt, the way they fill in harmonies? It’s a sound unlike any other, and I get to listen to them for the rest of the summer!”

Once again presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour brings all the high-velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America’s favorite football stadiums.

From his first single, "I Sit On Acid", released in 1988, to the present, Belgium's Praga Khan remains one of the most innovative acid house musicians in circulation. Thanks to extensive experimentation with drugs, Crowley-ian sex magic, and esoteric paths of self-deprivation and mutilation known only to himself, this orgiastic orchestrator created the LORDS OF ACID to further encapsulate the seductive messages and raw sex of his ever-evolving musical vision. From the raw carnality of their 1991 release Lust to the electro-thrash of 2012's Deep Chills, Lords of Acid has re-defined the pure pleasures of drugs, hedonism, and deviant sex for thirty years. Now, despite numerous lineup changes, world tours, over 2.5 million album sales, and every possible point of crisis and conflict a band can face, Lords of Acid is returning to the unsuspecting again, this time with a new crew of deviants, dilettantes, and sonically transmitted diseases.

Gigi Ricci was born in Belgium to an Italian mother and a Belgian father.

Even though her early childhood was shaped by the marital problems of her parents, Gigi had always been an energetic and cheerful child. Always excited, and adventurous. Gigi loved to be surrounded by creative people as that formed a big source of inspiration, which is understandable since her father grew up in a music-loving gypsy family. “I can't imagine my daddy other than singing whilst simultaneously playing the piano. My mama… she loved to dance. Dancing was in her blood. I inherited my interest in music and dance from my parents,” says Gigi.

When her parents decided to divorce, Gigi chose to move with her mother to a trailer park. As a teenager, Gigi became fascinated by the gypsy life, the unique atmosphere, its culture, the glitter and glamour, their freedom, and their joie de vivre. The gypsy and t the artist, and the partying hedonist. Gigi describes her teenage years in the trailer park as follows: “Life in the park was a great adventure. There was always something going on; karaoke, barbecues, bingo nights, live performances, disco parties, campfire evenings, and lots of friends. There was an intense feeling of unity, cosines, and freedom, the youthful, rash type of freedom”.

When a fortune-teller told Gigi that she would become famous abroad, Gigi was convinced that a music career was meant for her. She decided to go out into the wide world and ended up in Amsterdam, the dissolute metropolis that guarantees freedom, acceptance, and diversity.

Back in Belgium, Gigi meets the well-known fashion photographer “Dave Grønnesby” who asks her to consider a career as a fashion model. Not much later, Gigi makes her debut on the catwalk and grows into one of the fashion world’s rising stars. Gigi said: “I quickly felt that this was not for me. I was a wild child, a free spirit. The modeling world, on the other hand, is very superficial, which can be felt as a model. As a model, you are like a mannequin without an opinion. You can feel that as a person you don’t really matter”.

Not much later, her first great love, music, started to take over again. Gigi bought herself a home studio and started recording demos that she distributed on social media. She was pleasantly surprised that she received great feedback. When a mutual acquaintance introduced her to “Praga Khan” from “Lords of Acid” the ball started rolling. Praga was looking for a new singer for the new Lords of Acid album and asked Gigi if she would be interested.

“I immediately said yes! In the meantime, we have already recorded several new LOA demos, and we have been playing live gigs all over Belgium. A spicy detail is that my dad had a relationship with a former singer of the band. So, their music was not unknown to me”, says a mischievously smiling Gigi.

Lastly, we can remark that Gigi's favorite music genre is rock, metal, and punk, her favorite color is dark red, and her hobbies are fitness and tattoos. As for her favorite food, she sticks to lobster and oysters. She celebrates her birthday on April 22nd, hence her zodiac sign is Taurus.

Wheel Share New Single "Porcelain"

Anglo-Finnish progressive metallers Wheel previously announced their third studio album Charismatic Leaders, which arrives on May 3.

Today, they launch the second single — the dynamic and expansive "Porcelain." Listen here. Watch the visualizer below.

Vocalist and guitarist James Lascelles comments, "'Porcelain' ended up being about social norms and how the values of the past seem abhorrent by modern standards. In turn, our current values will likely be seen as primitive, careless or even cruel in the future. I think we would all like to imagine that if we had been born long ago, we would have the same world view that we do now but this would likely not be the case. We are all shaped by our surroundings and social conformity, probably more than we would like to admit. It was a humbling topic to dig in to and the more I thought about it, the more empathy I was able to find for our ancestors."

The album's first single "Empire" was released last month, and the video currently has over 220k views. Watch it here.

Charismatic Leaders was meticulously crafted to meet Wheel's ever-heightening benchmarks and recording with engineers/co-producers Daniel Bergstrand and Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah) stretched from August to December 2023. The end result, mixed by Forrester Savell, has consolidated all the gains of what came before: singer/guitarist Lascelles, lead guitarist Jussi Turunen and drummer Santeri Saksala's third album represents their heaviest and most conscious music to date.

Charismatic Leaders clocks in at just under 50 minutes, and will be available as a Limited CD Digipak (also featuring the Rumination EP tracks as bonus), and a Gatefold 180g LP, both featuring artwork from Lucas Mayer (Long Distance Calling, Blackout Problems). Pre-orders are live here.

Wheel will be celebrating the release of their new album with their first ever shows in Australia, supporting labelmates Caligula's Horse, as well as their first ever North American headline shows:

New England Metal and Hardcore Fest Set For 9/21 + 9/22 + Featuring KsE, Converge, Machine Head, Nails + More

New England Metal & Hardcore Fest launched back in 1999 and took place at the famed Palladium in Worcester through 2018. It was often held over two or three days, with multiple stages and top-tier acts like Megadeth, Manowar, DragonForce, Opeth, Between the Buried & Me, Meshuggah, Killswitch Engage, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, and more appearing through the years. It was always a "who's who" of the metal and hardcore scene and was a "not to be missed" event each Spring.

It took a brief break after 2018 but returned to much fanfare in 2023 with Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and more.

Today, the 2024 edition has been announced and the lineup is stacked. It features literally every single band you'd want to see at a metal and hardcore festival.

The two-day extravaganza will take place on September 21 and 22 at the Palladium. NEM&HCF faves Killswitch Engage will be playing a special 25th anniversary show and will headline the first night. Slaughter to Prevail will headline the second night.

"I think this lineup is one of the top five best in the festival's history," says Scott Lee, founder of the festival. "It will appeal to all fans of all genres of extreme music."

"The place where it all began for us was The Worcester Palladium our first show and our first Metal Festival," says KsE singer Jesse Leach. "Here we are, 25 years later, returning to the same venue to perform a unique set to celebrate our legacy as a band  We are honored and excited to be a part of this legendary festival once again. 25 years of Killswitch Engage!"

Return to Dust Announce Debut Album & Release Soul-Stirring New Single & Video for "Strangers"

The boundary-pushing grunge quartet, Return to Dust, have announced their long-awaited debut self-titled album, available on May 3rd via Jim Kaufman Productions. Accompanying the announcement, the band have also released their latest single, "Strangers" to give fans a glimpse at the upcoming record. Fans can listen to the track HERE, and watch the brand new video animated and directed by Callum Scott-Dyson below.

With more new music on the way, Return to Dust are thrilled to announce the addition of their newest member, drummer London Hudson. This pivotal milestone not only marks a significant evolution in the band's lineup, but also solidifies their core and amplifies their musical identity. As the band embark on their next chapter, they look forward to sharing the stage with him at all shows moving forward, including this year's Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.

Speaking on today's album announcement, the band shares:

"The timeline for our self-titled album goes farther back than people realize. This record is our warmest welcome, because it comes from the most genuine of places, where we didn’t fully understand ourselves, and the world around us was rapidly changing. It’s a cataclysmic mess of emotions, growing pains, youth and maturity, and we’re proud to call it our first. Aptly named, this album is Return to Dust."

Sharing insight on today's single release, the band continues:

"Strangers was written amidst dark times. We were all recovering from family death and losing friends. We felt very alone in a crowded city. We worked grocery store jobs and often times sat in our car late night after a shift wondering when things would get better, and wondering if we were alone in this feeling. The Strangers music video depicts a very normal guy who found himself somewhere he didn’t want to be. His dreams haunt him and he feels he doesn’t belong. He quickly finds himself consumed by his thoughts and spit out as a version of himself completely different than he was."

Expanding on the "Strangers" video, director and animator Callum Scott-Dyson adds:

"For the 'Strangers' video, we really wanted to capture the feeling of loneliness, isolation, alienation and the humdrum of daily life, living on the clock with no escape. Then we liked the idea of using his dreams to explore the negative stuff going on in his mind, and then having the dreams invade his daily life. In terms of the animation style, I really wanted to push the DIY stop motion vibe I've been honing lately, most the sets are made with card and clay and I made everything myself from scratch. The main note from the band once we were rolling was to keep the tone and visual style a little darker and subdued to most other animation so I enjoyed that challenge, working with a lot of washed out blues and greens. I'm really happy with how it's come out and I hope people dig it when it drops!"

Earning a phenomenal 2 million TikTok views over the course of a weekend, see HERE, Return to Dust have soared to new heights. The TIkTok featuring the band's single, "Belly Up" swiftly impacted the band's trajectory - landing them over 3.1 million streams across DSPs, 57K Spotify Monthly Listeners, and 5.4 million total TikTok views. As the release of their debut record approaches, Return to Dust have truly cemented their position as a rising force in the industry.

Return to Dust, who are heavily inspired by the legendary Alice In Chains, continue to gain traction and acclaim, solidifying themselves as mavericks in the current rock resurgence. Collaborating alongside renowned producer Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet) and earning accolades from rock impresario, Allison Hagendorf, the band's momentum remains unwavering. With their dynamic presence on TikTok, a rapidly growing streaming audience, and a loyal fan base, the band is gearing up for an exciting and promising future.

Stay tuned for what Return to Dust has in store, as they continue to make waves in the music scene and connect with their ever-expanding audience.

Pre-orders for Return to Dust's self titled debut album are available for purchase HERE. The bundle, pictured to the right, features a 12" Vinyl for the audiophiles, a special LP inspired T-Shirt, an 11x17 poster of the album artwork, and an exclusive Snake Pendant Necklace for fans who seek a piece of the band's story to wear close to their hearts.

Don't miss your chance to see the band live!

ABOUT RETURN TO DUST

Los Angeles based alternative/grunge rock trio Return to Dust (Matty Bielawski, Graham Stanush, Sebastian Gonzalez) has already scripted a karmic saga that traverses decades, pays homage to the past, and plants its roots firmly in the future. Listening within their sonic universe is like time-traveling to the halcyon days of the '90s grunge era. Their sound, influenced by heavyweights of the time, reverberates with the echoes of Deftones, Alice In Chains, and the soul of Nirvana — but, their brilliance doesn't stop there. The band draws inspiration from a diverse palette, blending in bits from bands like The Cure, Metallica, and Cage The Elephant, molding them into their own unique musical tapestry.

Return to Dust breathes life into a sound that feels both genuine and tailor-made to encapsulate the essence of a bygone era, leaving fans awash in nostalgia. Yet, it's not merely a mimicry of the past; instead, it's a fusion of the old and the new — an alchemy that conjures a sound distinctly their own. At the core are alluring bass lines (Stanush), gritty guitar riffs (Gonzalez, Bielawski) and dual lead vocals (Bielawski, Stanush) that harmonize and intertwine, weaving an ethereal soundscape that resonates with raw emotion and unyielding energy. It's a moody concoction that pays homage to an iconic era while fearlessly exploring uncharted territories. Return to Dust beckons audiences into their world, where the past and present converge, igniting a fervor that keeps the flames of grunge alive.

Return to Dust found its meteoric rise propelled by a chance encounter with none other than the illustrious producer Jim Kaufman (Helmet, Everclear, Night Riots). Under Kaufman's mentorship, the band's raw talent began to soar. During the darkest days of the pandemic, when the world stood still, Return to Dust seized the opportunity to channel their collective energy into crafting something profound. The result was their debut EP, a mesmerizing creation titled ‘The Black Road.’ It was a labor of love and dedication that not only transcended the barriers of personal growth, but also etched the band's name into the future of rock.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel might just be the last real rebel out there. The Platinum-selling East Texas-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer shakes up the status quo, shatters expectations and sticks to his guns with a sound steeped in country storytelling, yet spiked with grunge grit. He’s unapologetic, undeniable and unlike anyone else you’ve ever heard. Without anything to prove and nothing to lose, he continues to kick ass on his own terms. Breaking through with a series of independent releases and tallying over 2.4 billion streams to date, Wetzel has impressively notched multiple RIAA-certified singles, including six Gold records and the Platinum track “Drunk Driving.” The latter adorned his 2020 Columbia Records debut, Sellout, which arrived to widespread critical acclaim from American SongwriterThe BootRolling Stone and more. Wetzel followed with the release of his 2022 album Hell Paso, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Recorded at the iconic Sonic Ranch Studio outside of El Paso, Texas, the 13-track LP perfectly blends Wetzel’s musical influences and carves a unique lane for himself. In speaking about the album, he says: “We pulled in every genre we were feeling at the time. We spent the last ten years trying to make this sound, Hell Paso has it.”

Over the years, Wetzel has quietly emerged as a powerhouse performer packing arenas, amphitheaters and ballparks across North America. Selling over 275,000 tickets in 2023 alone, he graced POLLSTAR’s “Top Worldwide Tours” for the third time with headline performances, top festivals and an opening slot for Morgan Wallen already slated for 2024. He continues to forge ahead with new music on the horizon. Ultimately, there’s only one Koe Wetzel, and he’s here to stay.

Nominated at this year’s CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year, Chayce Beckham scores career-first #1 on both Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts with his solo-written, PLATINUM single 23.” Streaming over 5.8 MILLION per week with over 391 MILLION total global on-demand streams and more than 10 MILLION YouTube views, the iTunes All Genre #1 song is featured on Beckham’s highly anticipated debut album, Bad For Me, arriving this Friday, April 5 via 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG. Pre-order/pre-save/pre-add the album HERE.

“I still can’t believe or process ’23’ is #1 at country radio,” says Beckham. “I wrote this song when I had nothing to my name. Fast forwarding to now, to living out my dream, I just feel so blessed. I want to shake every single person’s hand that made this possible - thank you.”

As reported by Billboard: “23” is the first Country Airplay #1 written by a single person since Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s self-authored “Fast Car” last July. However, prior to “23,” the last Country Airplay #1 solely written by the soloist who also recorded it was Taylor Swift’s “Ours” in 2012.

Additionally, the Amazon Music “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” and CMT Listen Up artist has solidified himself alongside superstars Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, as the fourth winner of American Idol to hit the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10. Earning critical acclaim since his history-making Idol win, “Beckham is no doubt a force to be reckoned with, while proving he will leave a scorching mark on the country music genre for years to come” (PopCulture).

About Chayce Beckham

Three years after becoming the only artist to win American Idol singing his own songs, 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG country artist Chayce Beckham is living proof of his belief that “You can’t tell someone how to write a song.” Currently nominated at this year’s CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year for his #1, PLATINUM hit single “23,” the fiery singer-songwriter laid out a course only he could follow, and today remains even more dedicated to his unique creative compass. A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, Beckham started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting after some hard times when he felt he had nothing left – and when combined with his warm vocal rasp on “23,” that drive helped him charm the nation on Idol's 19th season in 2021. With more than 391 million streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem debuted at #1 on both iTunes’ Country and All Genre singles charts, and now leads Beckham’s first album, Bad for Me, as the emerging star finds his stride. Co-writing nine of 13 songs (three solo), the project shows Beckham opening his soul like most would never dare and embracing a timeless country-rock sound defined by fiddles, steel guitar, and plenty of against-the-grain attitude. With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the set aims to reinforce next-big-thing predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more, while Beckham hits the road this summer on Luke Bryan’s "Mind Of A Country Boy" Tour and his own headlining 2024 “Bad for Me” Tour.

Dalton Dover Releases New Single "Bury Me In This Bar"

As he gears up to kick off his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour next week, Dalton Dover delivers his new single via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records with the rollicking “Bury Me In This Bar.” Listen to the new song Below.

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of writing,” Dover shares. “We really wanted to capture the fun and energy of those ‘90s country bar anthems that you just can’t skip or resist singing along with when you hear it. I believe it’s one that would make my heroes proud, and we can’t wait to hear people sing it with us on the road.”

Written by Dalton Dover, Dan Isbell, Jamie Davis and Benjy Davis, and produced by longtime collaborator Matt McVaney (McV), “Bury Me In This Bar” is laced with steel guitar and punctuated with hard rock hits amid the Georgia native’s dynamic vocals:

Yeah, there’s one thing you can count on
Ain’t no one getting out of
This wake up, working, wild world alive
            Some folks prefer a casket
            Some get turned to ashes
But I got other plans for when I die

Oh, bury me in this bar
Where the women and the whiskey ain’t too far
Yeah, my soul is meant to belong
            Underneath that neon
Smiling to the sound of a steel guitar
I’ll rest in peace where all my people are
            Bury me in this bar

Today’s release follows Take Me Home: Covers which showcases Dover’s roots and influences growing up in Georgia, with Billboard calling it a “well-curated, fresh take on a collection of classics,” as MusicRow lauds him as “one of our finest young country voices.”

About Dalton Dover
Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” Dalton Dover’s new single “Bury Me In This Bar” is available now via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records. Released earlier this year, Take Me Home: Covers showcases his roots and influences growing up in Georgia. His debut radio single “Giving Up On That” was the most-added track at Country Radio upon its debut with 60 first week adds and can be found on his EP Never Giving Up On That, featuring eight tracks including “Night To Go,” “Baby I Am,” “Hear About A Girl” and more. Named a 2024 Tidal Artist to Watch, Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, he will embark on his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour in April 2024. Dover made his Grand Ole Opry debut in December 2022, followed by his international debut in 2023 at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series and performances across four stages at CMA Fest, including the Nissan Stadium Platform stage. In addition to playing Luke Combs’ Whiskey Jam Bootleggers Tailgate Party, he’s supported Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, Parker McCollum, Larry Fleet and Priscilla Block. By the age of 16, Dover had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover. His debut track “You Got a Small Town,” produced by McV, quickly garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, MusicRow, Country Now and Wide Open Country. With his debut and his follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch along with a spotlight as Billboard’s February Country Rookie of the Month and a nod for MusicRow’s 2022 Discovery Artist of the Year.
