For the third year in a row, Charleston native Darius Rucker has curated an all-star roster of talent for his hometown music festival, Riverfront Revival, alongside SRE Entertainment, set to take place on Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12, 2024, at scenic Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Fans can now purchase daily tickets in addition to weekend passes and get a first look at the talented lineup, featuring a melody of nineties, Americana, rock and country tunes.
Riverfront Revival is thrilled to announce its two headlining acts at this year’s festival: multi-Diamond, two-time GRAMMY Award-winning and internationally acclaimed band Hootie & the Blowfish, of which Rucker is a member, and GRAMMY Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band. Tedeschi Trucks Band will headline Friday night to kick off the two-day affair, and Hootie & the Blowfish will cap off the festival on Saturday as they officially end their 2024 "Summer Camp with Trucks" tour with Riverfront Revival festival-goers. Guests can expect the last show of Hootie & the Blowfish's tour, their first since 2019, to culminate in emphatic fashion in their home state of South Carolina along the backdrop of the Cooper River in a can't-miss performance.
“I can’t think of a better way to close Riverfront Revival out with a bang than next to my Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates,” shares Rucker. “Charleston and the band both mean so much to me and are an integral part of who I am, so I’m thrilled to bring these two parts of my life together for everyone to celebrate and enjoy.”
The Revivalists, Paul Cauthen, Southall, Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge and July Moon will also grace the stage on Friday night with can’t-miss performances. On Saturday, guests can expect to delight in the sounds of Jamey Johnson, Collective Soul, Arrested Development, Hailey Whitters, Sister Hazel, Shane Profitt, Gritty Flyright, Brady Smith and Elizabeth Covington. On Friday, gates will open at 4 p.m. with musical acts running from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. On Saturday, gates will open at noon, with musical acts occurring from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Daily passes are now on sale in tiered pricing plus taxes and fees at the General Admission level ($115), General Admission Plus level ($225) and VIP level ($325), in addition to still-available weekend passes at the General Admission level ($190), General Admission Plus level ($375) and VIP level ($600). Kenny Chesney's SUN GOES DOWN 2024 Rehearsals Are ON
The tape is on the floor... Marley, the swordfish, is out of his road case... The walls of the hard concrete space are covered with massive screens... and country music’s most high-velocity band has reported for duty. Kenny Chesney, who has spent the last several weeks moving from cutting video to sorting through light cues, working up songs with his band and setting up BORN, his first new project in four years, is starting to bring it all together in anticipation of the first show of his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.
“This is where it all starts to really feel real,” Chesney says with a laugh. “We’ve got the stage and the T taped off. We have room to really play off each other and jam while we’re dialing the songs back in. But even more, all the teams are together, and we’re catching up after so many months off! When you’ve got a road family like I do, it’s a rush just being together.”
With new footage for some of the old favorites, a few surprise additions to the set list and a few new songs, Sun Goes Down 2024 is taking on the momentum of a full-tilt summer supernova.
Having spent last spring and early summer with his taking-it-to-the-roots I Go Back 2023 Tour of those arenas and markets where he rose to major headlining status, the only country artist to be on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 15 years is fired up to get back to parking lot parties, stadium-sized guitar parts and a force field of energy like no other.
Running through Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. for the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour’s unprecedented three nights – August 23, 24, 25 – in what has become a No Shoes Nation tour-ending tradition, the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee is ramping up the music for another summer that says everything about being alive and grateful in the moment.
“I never take my band for granted,” explains the eight-time Entertainer of the Year. “When we get into rehearsals and the massive amounts of sound start bouncing off the walls, it just makes you stop and take it in. After all these years, there’s nothing like hearing Kenny or John or Danny taking a solo, and nobody plays drums like Nick Buda. Harmoni and Wyatt, the way they fill in harmonies? It’s a sound unlike any other, and I get to listen to them for the rest of the summer!”
Once again presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour brings all the high-velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America’s favorite football stadiums.

From his first single, "I Sit On Acid", released in 1988, to the present, Belgium's Praga Khan remains one of the most innovative acid house musicians in circulation. Thanks to extensive experimentation with drugs, Crowley-ian sex magic, and esoteric paths of self-deprivation and mutilation known only to himself, this orgiastic orchestrator created the LORDS OF ACID to further encapsulate the seductive messages and raw sex of his ever-evolving musical vision. From the raw carnality of their 1991 release Lust to the electro-thrash of 2012's Deep Chills, Lords of Acid has re-defined the pure pleasures of drugs, hedonism, and deviant sex for thirty years. Now, despite numerous lineup changes, world tours, over 2.5 million album sales, and every possible point of crisis and conflict a band can face, Lords of Acid is returning to the unsuspecting again, this time with a new crew of deviants, dilettantes, and sonically transmitted diseases.
Gigi Ricci was born in Belgium to an Italian mother and a Belgian father.
Even though her early childhood was shaped by the marital problems of her parents, Gigi had always been an energetic and cheerful child. Always excited, and adventurous. Gigi loved to be surrounded by creative people as that formed a big source of inspiration, which is understandable since her father grew up in a music-loving gypsy family. “I can't imagine my daddy other than singing whilst simultaneously playing the piano. My mama… she loved to dance. Dancing was in her blood. I inherited my interest in music and dance from my parents,” says Gigi.
When her parents decided to divorce, Gigi chose to move with her mother to a trailer park. As a teenager, Gigi became fascinated by the gypsy life, the unique atmosphere, its culture, the glitter and glamour, their freedom, and their joie de vivre. The gypsy and t the artist, and the partying hedonist. Gigi describes her teenage years in the trailer park as follows: “Life in the park was a great adventure. There was always something going on; karaoke, barbecues, bingo nights, live performances, disco parties, campfire evenings, and lots of friends. There was an intense feeling of unity, cosines, and freedom, the youthful, rash type of freedom”.
When a fortune-teller told Gigi that she would become famous abroad, Gigi was convinced that a music career was meant for her. She decided to go out into the wide world and ended up in Amsterdam, the dissolute metropolis that guarantees freedom, acceptance, and diversity.
Back in Belgium, Gigi meets the well-known fashion photographer “Dave Grønnesby” who asks her to consider a career as a fashion model. Not much later, Gigi makes her debut on the catwalk and grows into one of the fashion world’s rising stars. Gigi said: “I quickly felt that this was not for me. I was a wild child, a free spirit. The modeling world, on the other hand, is very superficial, which can be felt as a model. As a model, you are like a mannequin without an opinion. You can feel that as a person you don’t really matter”.
Not much later, her first great love, music, started to take over again. Gigi bought herself a home studio and started recording demos that she distributed on social media. She was pleasantly surprised that she received great feedback. When a mutual acquaintance introduced her to “Praga Khan” from “Lords of Acid” the ball started rolling. Praga was looking for a new singer for the new Lords of Acid album and asked Gigi if she would be interested.
“I immediately said yes! In the meantime, we have already recorded several new LOA demos, and we have been playing live gigs all over Belgium. A spicy detail is that my dad had a relationship with a former singer of the band. So, their music was not unknown to me”, says a mischievously smiling Gigi.
Lastly, we can remark that Gigi's favorite music genre is rock, metal, and punk, her favorite color is dark red, and her hobbies are fitness and tattoos. As for her favorite food, she sticks to lobster and oysters. She celebrates her birthday on April 22nd, hence her zodiac sign is Taurus.
Wheel Share New Single "Porcelain"
Anglo-Finnish progressive metallers Wheel previously announced their third studio album Charismatic Leaders, which arrives on May 3.
Today, they launch the second single — the dynamic and expansive "Porcelain." Listen here. Watch the visualizer below.
Vocalist and guitarist James Lascelles comments, "'Porcelain' ended up being about social norms and how the values of the past seem abhorrent by modern standards. In turn, our current values will likely be seen as primitive, careless or even cruel in the future. I think we would all like to imagine that if we had been born long ago, we would have the same world view that we do now but this would likely not be the case. We are all shaped by our surroundings and social conformity, probably more than we would like to admit. It was a humbling topic to dig in to and the more I thought about it, the more empathy I was able to find for our ancestors."
The album's first single "Empire" was released last month, and the video currently has over 220k views. Watch it here.
Charismatic Leaders was meticulously crafted to meet Wheel's ever-heightening benchmarks and recording with engineers/co-producers Daniel Bergstrand and Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah) stretched from August to December 2023. The end result, mixed by Forrester Savell, has consolidated all the gains of what came before: singer/guitarist Lascelles, lead guitarist Jussi Turunen and drummer Santeri Saksala's third album represents their heaviest and most conscious music to date.
Charismatic Leaders clocks in at just under 50 minutes, and will be available as a Limited CD Digipak (also featuring the Rumination EP tracks as bonus), and a Gatefold 180g LP, both featuring artwork from Lucas Mayer (Long Distance Calling, Blackout Problems). Pre-orders are live here.
Wheel will be celebrating the release of their new album with their first ever shows in Australia, supporting labelmates Caligula's Horse, as well as their first ever North American headline shows:

Return to Dust Announce Debut Album & Release Soul-Stirring New Single & Video for "Strangers"
The boundary-pushing grunge quartet, Return to Dust, have announced their long-awaited debut self-titled album, available on May 3rd via Jim Kaufman Productions. Accompanying the announcement, the band have also released their latest single, "Strangers" to give fans a glimpse at the upcoming record. Fans can listen to the track HERE, and watch the brand new video animated and directed by Callum Scott-Dyson below.
With more new music on the way, Return to Dust are thrilled to announce the addition of their newest member, drummer London Hudson. This pivotal milestone not only marks a significant evolution in the band's lineup, but also solidifies their core and amplifies their musical identity. As the band embark on their next chapter, they look forward to sharing the stage with him at all shows moving forward, including this year's Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.
Speaking on today's album announcement, the band shares:
"The timeline for our self-titled album goes farther back than people realize. This record is our warmest welcome, because it comes from the most genuine of places, where we didn’t fully understand ourselves, and the world around us was rapidly changing. It’s a cataclysmic mess of emotions, growing pains, youth and maturity, and we’re proud to call it our first. Aptly named, this album is Return to Dust."
Sharing insight on today's single release, the band continues:
"Strangers was written amidst dark times. We were all recovering from family death and losing friends. We felt very alone in a crowded city. We worked grocery store jobs and often times sat in our car late night after a shift wondering when things would get better, and wondering if we were alone in this feeling. The Strangers music video depicts a very normal guy who found himself somewhere he didn’t want to be. His dreams haunt him and he feels he doesn’t belong. He quickly finds himself consumed by his thoughts and spit out as a version of himself completely different than he was."
Expanding on the "Strangers" video, director and animator Callum Scott-Dyson adds:
"For the 'Strangers' video, we really wanted to capture the feeling of loneliness, isolation, alienation and the humdrum of daily life, living on the clock with no escape. Then we liked the idea of using his dreams to explore the negative stuff going on in his mind, and then having the dreams invade his daily life. In terms of the animation style, I really wanted to push the DIY stop motion vibe I've been honing lately, most the sets are made with card and clay and I made everything myself from scratch. The main note from the band once we were rolling was to keep the tone and visual style a little darker and subdued to most other animation so I enjoyed that challenge, working with a lot of washed out blues and greens. I'm really happy with how it's come out and I hope people dig it when it drops!"
Earning a phenomenal 2 million TikTok views over the course of a weekend, see HERE, Return to Dust have soared to new heights. The TIkTok featuring the band's single, "Belly Up" swiftly impacted the band's trajectory - landing them over 3.1 million streams across DSPs, 57K Spotify Monthly Listeners, and 5.4 million total TikTok views. As the release of their debut record approaches, Return to Dust have truly cemented their position as a rising force in the industry.
Return to Dust, who are heavily inspired by the legendary Alice In Chains, continue to gain traction and acclaim, solidifying themselves as mavericks in the current rock resurgence. Collaborating alongside renowned producer Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet) and earning accolades from rock impresario, Allison Hagendorf, the band's momentum remains unwavering. With their dynamic presence on TikTok, a rapidly growing streaming audience, and a loyal fan base, the band is gearing up for an exciting and promising future.
Stay tuned for what Return to Dust has in store, as they continue to make waves in the music scene and connect with their ever-expanding audience.
Pre-orders for Return to Dust's self titled debut album are available for purchase HERE. The bundle, pictured to the right, features a 12" Vinyl for the audiophiles, a special LP inspired T-Shirt, an 11x17 poster of the album artwork, and an exclusive Snake Pendant Necklace for fans who seek a piece of the band's story to wear close to their hearts.

ABOUT RETURN TO DUST
Los Angeles based alternative/grunge rock trio Return to Dust (Matty Bielawski, Graham Stanush, Sebastian Gonzalez) has already scripted a karmic saga that traverses decades, pays homage to the past, and plants its roots firmly in the future. Listening within their sonic universe is like time-traveling to the halcyon days of the '90s grunge era. Their sound, influenced by heavyweights of the time, reverberates with the echoes of Deftones, Alice In Chains, and the soul of Nirvana — but, their brilliance doesn't stop there. The band draws inspiration from a diverse palette, blending in bits from bands like The Cure, Metallica, and Cage The Elephant, molding them into their own unique musical tapestry.
Return to Dust breathes life into a sound that feels both genuine and tailor-made to encapsulate the essence of a bygone era, leaving fans awash in nostalgia. Yet, it's not merely a mimicry of the past; instead, it's a fusion of the old and the new — an alchemy that conjures a sound distinctly their own. At the core are alluring bass lines (Stanush), gritty guitar riffs (Gonzalez, Bielawski) and dual lead vocals (Bielawski, Stanush) that harmonize and intertwine, weaving an ethereal soundscape that resonates with raw emotion and unyielding energy. It's a moody concoction that pays homage to an iconic era while fearlessly exploring uncharted territories. Return to Dust beckons audiences into their world, where the past and present converge, igniting a fervor that keeps the flames of grunge alive.
Return to Dust found its meteoric rise propelled by a chance encounter with none other than the illustrious producer Jim Kaufman (Helmet, Everclear, Night Riots). Under Kaufman's mentorship, the band's raw talent began to soar. During the darkest days of the pandemic, when the world stood still, Return to Dust seized the opportunity to channel their collective energy into crafting something profound. The result was their debut EP, a mesmerizing creation titled ‘The Black Road.’ It was a labor of love and dedication that not only transcended the barriers of personal growth, but also etched the band's name into the future of rock.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel might just be the last real rebel out there. The Platinum-selling East Texas-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer shakes up the status quo, shatters expectations and sticks to his guns with a sound steeped in country storytelling, yet spiked with grunge grit. He’s unapologetic, undeniable and unlike anyone else you’ve ever heard. Without anything to prove and nothing to lose, he continues to kick ass on his own terms. Breaking through with a series of independent releases and tallying over 2.4 billion streams to date, Wetzel has impressively notched multiple RIAA-certified singles, including six Gold records and the Platinum track “Drunk Driving.” The latter adorned his 2020 Columbia Records debut, Sellout, which arrived to widespread critical acclaim from American Songwriter, The Boot, Rolling Stone and more. Wetzel followed with the release of his 2022 album Hell Paso, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Recorded at the iconic Sonic Ranch Studio outside of El Paso, Texas, the 13-track LP perfectly blends Wetzel’s musical influences and carves a unique lane for himself. In speaking about the album, he says: “We pulled in every genre we were feeling at the time. We spent the last ten years trying to make this sound, Hell Paso has it.”
Over the years, Wetzel has quietly emerged as a powerhouse performer packing arenas, amphitheaters and ballparks across North America. Selling over 275,000 tickets in 2023 alone, he graced POLLSTAR’s “Top Worldwide Tours” for the third time with headline performances, top festivals and an opening slot for Morgan Wallen already slated for 2024. He continues to forge ahead with new music on the horizon. Ultimately, there’s only one Koe Wetzel, and he’s here to stay.

Nominated at this year’s CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year, Chayce Beckham scores career-first #1 on both Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts with his solo-written, PLATINUM single “23.” Streaming over 5.8 MILLION per week with over 391 MILLION total global on-demand streams and more than 10 MILLION YouTube views, the iTunes All Genre #1 song is featured on Beckham’s highly anticipated debut album, Bad For Me, arriving this Friday, April 5 via 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG. Pre-order/pre-save/pre-add the album HERE.
“I still can’t believe or process ’23’ is #1 at country radio,” says Beckham. “I wrote this song when I had nothing to my name. Fast forwarding to now, to living out my dream, I just feel so blessed. I want to shake every single person’s hand that made this possible - thank you.”
As reported by Billboard: “23” is the first Country Airplay #1 written by a single person since Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s self-authored “Fast Car” last July. However, prior to “23,” the last Country Airplay #1 solely written by the soloist who also recorded it was Taylor Swift’s “Ours” in 2012.
Additionally, the Amazon Music “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” and CMT Listen Up artist has solidified himself alongside superstars Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, as the fourth winner of American Idol to hit the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10. Earning critical acclaim since his history-making Idol win, “Beckham is no doubt a force to be reckoned with, while proving he will leave a scorching mark on the country music genre for years to come” (PopCulture).

About Chayce Beckham:
Three years after becoming the only artist to win American Idol singing his own songs, 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG country artist Chayce Beckham is living proof of his belief that “You can’t tell someone how to write a song.” Currently nominated at this year’s CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year for his #1, PLATINUM hit single “23,” the fiery singer-songwriter laid out a course only he could follow, and today remains even more dedicated to his unique creative compass. A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, Beckham started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting after some hard times when he felt he had nothing left – and when combined with his warm vocal rasp on “23,” that drive helped him charm the nation on Idol's 19th season in 2021. With more than 391 million streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem debuted at #1 on both iTunes’ Country and All Genre singles charts, and now leads Beckham’s first album, Bad for Me, as the emerging star finds his stride. Co-writing nine of 13 songs (three solo), the project shows Beckham opening his soul like most would never dare and embracing a timeless country-rock sound defined by fiddles, steel guitar, and plenty of against-the-grain attitude. With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the set aims to reinforce next-big-thing predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more, while Beckham hits the road this summer on Luke Bryan’s "Mind Of A Country Boy" Tour and his own headlining 2024 “Bad for Me” Tour.
Dalton Dover Releases New Single "Bury Me In This Bar"
As he gears up to kick off his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour next week, Dalton Dover delivers his new single via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records with the rollicking “Bury Me In This Bar.” Listen to the new song Below.
“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of writing,” Dover shares. “We really wanted to capture the fun and energy of those ‘90s country bar anthems that you just can’t skip or resist singing along with when you hear it. I believe it’s one that would make my heroes proud, and we can’t wait to hear people sing it with us on the road.”
Written by Dalton Dover, Dan Isbell, Jamie Davis and Benjy Davis, and produced by longtime collaborator Matt McVaney (McV), “Bury Me In This Bar” is laced with steel guitar and punctuated with hard rock hits amid the Georgia native’s dynamic vocals:
Yeah, there’s one thing you can count on
Ain’t no one getting out of
This wake up, working, wild world alive
Some folks prefer a casket
Some get turned to ashes
But I got other plans for when I die
Oh, bury me in this bar
Where the women and the whiskey ain’t too far
Yeah, my soul is meant to belong
Underneath that neon
Smiling to the sound of a steel guitar
I’ll rest in peace where all my people are
Bury me in this bar
Today’s release follows Take Me Home: Covers which showcases Dover’s roots and influences growing up in Georgia, with Billboard calling it a “well-curated, fresh take on a collection of classics,” as MusicRow lauds him as “one of our finest young country voices.”
After wrapping up a string of shows supporting Larry Fleet, along with joining BRELAND & Friends at Ryman Auditorium earlier this week, Dover will embark on his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour next Friday, April 5 in Houston, Texas. Tickets are on sale now at DaltonDoverOfficial.com.
Following his Nissan Stadium Platform Stage debut last summer, Dover is set to perform at the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at CMA Fest on June 9. For more information, visit CMAFest.com.

About Dalton Dover
Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” Dalton Dover’s new single “Bury Me In This Bar” is available now via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records. Released earlier this year, Take Me Home: Covers showcases his roots and influences growing up in Georgia. His debut radio single “Giving Up On That” was the most-added track at Country Radio upon its debut with 60 first week adds and can be found on his EP Never Giving Up On That, featuring eight tracks including “Night To Go,” “Baby I Am,” “Hear About A Girl” and more. Named a 2024 Tidal Artist to Watch, Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, he will embark on his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour in April 2024. Dover made his Grand Ole Opry debut in December 2022, followed by his international debut in 2023 at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series and performances across four stages at CMA Fest, including the Nissan Stadium Platform stage. In addition to playing Luke Combs’ Whiskey Jam Bootleggers Tailgate Party, he’s supported Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, Parker McCollum, Larry Fleet and Priscilla Block. By the age of 16, Dover had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover. His debut track “You Got a Small Town,” produced by McV, quickly garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, MusicRow, Country Now and Wide Open Country. With his debut and his follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch along with a spotlight as Billboard’s February Country Rookie of the Month and a nod for MusicRow’s 2022 Discovery Artist of the Year. For more information, visit DaltonDoverOfficial.com or follow along on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook.

Lightworker Share "Evergreen" Visualizer
San Francisco's Lightworker — Joe Calderon [vocals], Grayson Hurd[guitar], and Ryan Johnson [drums] — will drop their new album How the Beautiful Decay on April 19 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here.
Today, the band has shared the visualizer for "Evergreen." It's packed with montage footage of the band performing live at different locations — and will leave you incredibly eager to see the band in the flesh.
Watch + listen below.
"On our debut album, we had two songs that could be classified as our version of 'ballads' or 'love songs,'" the band says. "'Evergreen' is that song for thisalbum, and it continues the story from '10/18' off our first album. Lyrically, it's equally melancholy and sweet — the perfect blend for our heaviest 'ballad' to date."
Lightworker first emerged with the Resilience EP in 2017. Their signature sound cemented on 2020's full-length debut, Fury by Failure. It tallied over a million streams powered up by "Empyre," "The Willing Martyr," and "Words Dissolve" [feat. Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King]. Meanwhile, a 2021 cover of the Hoobastank hit "Crawling in the Dark" maintained their momentum. During 2022, they recorded How The Beautiful Decay with Beau Burchell of Saosin in the producer's chair. The musicians made a conscious decision to let their heavier impulses lead the way in the studio. As a result, How the Beautiful Decay is a master class in beautiful brutality.
Lightworker will return to the road in May with Dreamwake and Red Keep. All dates are below.
LIGHTWORKER ON TOUR:
WITH DREAMWAKE + RED KEEP:

Party Cannon Unleash New Track + Official Video "Not Immediately Life Threatening" via Unique Leader Records
Party Cannon, purveyors of Scotland's finest brutal party slam, have today released their new track "Not Immediately Life Threatening" and the official video via Unique Leader Records. The single is taken from the band's forthcoming concept album 'Injuries Are Inevitable' (inspired by the infamous Action Park) out on Friday, April 26. Speaking on "Not Immediately Life Threatening", bassist Clankenstein stated:
“These are some calorifically dense riffs. These riffs are definitely going to exceed your macro goals for the week. We wanted to have a song so slimy, so beefy, so irresponsible to throw into our live set for when we feel the IQ is just a little too high in the room. Musically this is a love letter to bands like DEHUMANIZED, WAKING THE CADAVER and LUST OF DECAY – the forbidden, spicy death metal bands.”
The band also shared:
“The video continues with our goal of avoiding the usual performance style video in favour of something that’s as visually IQ-lowering as the music. Directed and produced again by Calum “Saint of Patience” McMillan, the video is somewhere between the SAW movies and that old MTV show FIST OF ZEN I used to watch at 2am instead of getting enough sleep before school. Our good friend Bailey from Scapegoat Productions plays the enigmatic skull figure intent on taking down Party Slam in the most devious of ways.”

THE EXIES Triumphantly Return with New Single; Announce Reunion Show at the Iconic Viper Room
The Exies have announced their much-anticipated return with the release of brand new single 'For What It's Worth'. Coinciding with the release, The Exies have revealed a special reunion show at the legendary Viper Room on LA’s Sunset Strip, set for May 29th, hosted by none other than Matt Pinfield.
Fans can stream "For What It's Worth" HERE and watch the accompanying lyric video below.
Tickets for the Reunion Show are available now HERE.
"For What It's Worth" marks a pivotal moment in, Scott Stevens’ personal and musical journey. The Exies frontman and songwriter shares "Writing 'For What It's Worth" was a cathartic process for me. It was a turning point in my mental stance on my life, where I was questioning if the life I have built for myself and my loved ones was 'enough'...ultimately, the process brought me to the realization that it has to be...because Ive lived and loved the best that I could up till this point in my life …“
Formed in 1997, The Exies released two influential LPs with Virgin Records, 'Inertia' and 'Head For The Door', achieving combined sales of over 500k and spawning singles that charted at rock radio. Both albums secured positions on the Billboard 200 chart. Their third album "A Modern Way of Living with the Truth" came out in 2007 before the group disbanded in 2010.
The Exies’ music gained significant exposure through placements in numerous video games and tours alongside rock giants like Motley Crüe and Velvet Revolver. Following their hiatus, Scott Stevens continued to leave an indelible mark on the musical landscape with co-written songs amassing over 2 billion streams and selling over 40 million albums.
Now, The Exies are poised to pick up right where they left off with their reunion show and latest single, bringing together the nostalgia of their storied past and the freshness of their current creative evolution.
“For the Viper Room, it’s family; it’s where we got signed. Everything that made a difference for us happened there, so it’s fitting that this is where the reunion show would be held,” Stevens shares, emphasizing the sentimental venue choice for their comeback performance.
'For What It's Worth' and tickets for the Viper Room reunion show are available now. Join The Exies as they embark on the next chapter of their extraordinary musical journey.
BAT | ANNOUNCE U.S. DATES WITH NECROT ON THE 'LIFELESS BIRTH TOUR 2024'
Richmond, Virginia metal-punk trio BAT has been delivering their own blood-spattered horror since ascending from the underground a decade ago on a dark, leather-winged trajectory. The brainchild of MUNICIPAL WASTE guitarists Ryan Waste & Nick Poulos, BAT leans heavily on the dirtier side of speed metal. On May 17th, the band welcomes the release of their second full-length album Under The Crooked Claw via Nuclear Blast Records.
BAT will be heading across the US on the first half of the 'Lifeless Birth Tour 2024' with headliners NECROT. The tour will kick off on June 5th in Berkeley and will end on June 27th in Boston for BAT. The second half of the tour will continue until July 13 and will include PHOBOPHILIC as well as STREET TOMBS, who will be on the complete tour.
BAT's Ryan Waste states, “We’re psyched to finally cover some ground in the US, especially with our die-hard brothers in NECROT. Uniting the two power trios will only induce total debauchery on the road. We’ll both be bringing our new albums hot off the press, so this is one street metal tour you don’t wanna miss!”
General admission tickets go on sale this Friday, March 29th at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST at Necrot.com.

Yavé Rust tracked lead guitars and vocals later when the band was back in Richmond, ultimately to be mixed by Rizk and mastered by Joel Grind. The artwork for the album was inked by Brandon Holt and colored by Margaret Rolicki.
Jam-packed with tight, concise songs loaded with punchy choruses and lightning-laced leads, each of the 13 tracks offers a new horror short story mixing the perfect blend of heavy metal, punk, and rock ‘n’ roll or as Waste coins it "primitive heavy speed".

EIVØR Announces New Album
"The Faroe Islands' first international superstar" - PROG
"Evanescence-esque local hero" - Variety
"Incorporates the lyrics and musical styles of traditional Faroese music to international recognition" - The Guardian
Eivør comes from one of the smallest places on the planet. She grew up in a village of 400 people, tucked away among the Faroe Islands. But her music, which is shaped by the natural wonders of her homeland, has brought her all over the world. She's performed at Europe's biggest festivals and co-composed the soundtracks to Netflix's hit series The Last Kingdom and the award-winning video game God of War: Ragnarök.
Today, Eivør is making the next leap in her musical journey by announcing her new album. ENN ties back to her Nordic roots. All eight songs are sung in Faroese and most of the lyrics were written with the island's esteemed poet Marjun Syderbø Kjelnæs. But even though it translates in English as "Still", ENN stands out amid her two decades-long discography as a bold new venture. The album leans heavier into dark electronics and cosmic orchestration, all while reconnecting our hearts' desires with the primal beauty of the earth.
"ENN is the most nuanced and experimental album that I've created to date", Eivør says. "The songs range from symphonic space opera vibes to more beat-driven and dark electronic moods. I wanted to explore the links between humanity and nature; the primal urges of the heart, the undying desires of the human flesh and the endless struggle we choose to endure in order to achieve our goals. All of this goes on while our planet hurtles through space, setting the stage for our battlegrounds, but also our sanctuaries. Because even though there is an unyielding tide of destruction at the core of this journey, there are also oases of hope and comfort lingering within its blue embrace. The earth speaks out, and the heart listens".

“Jarðartrá” is an especially fitting first single. Just like the extreme contrasts that define life on the Faroe Islands, the song is dark yet glistening, swirling but propulsive. It's also one of the very first songs that Eivør wrote for ENN.
"Back in 2021, I went to Tjørnuvík, a tiny village in the Faroe Islands", Eivør says. Though arriving with no plans other than to entertain the thought of a possible side project, she realized that her ventures into classical music and beatmaking were actually the start of her new album.
“Jarðartrá” is one of the most beat-oriented songs on ENN. But as the video subtly suggests with the thump of Eivør's hand drum, its steady electronic pulse stems from more ancient origins. "When I wrote this song, I envisioned the earth in its rawest elements: oceans, volcanoes, storms, soil", remembers Eivør. "We all have echoes of these elements within us, but maybe we tend to forget that we are part of nature and its endless circle of decay and growth".
The video's laser light show glistens like a pearl necklace, but “Jarðartrá” beckons us away from our own greed and destruction and back into the warm embrace of mother nature. In English, the title translates as "Death Lust", a primordial desire to return to the earth. The deep swells of strings and gently turning piano are rooted in an old Faroese folk melody.
"Come lie down in my blue embrace", Eivør sings, reaching into her operatic register, as if beckoning us toward the light. Her voice sails so high and with such ease that it sends a shiver of astonishment up the spine once you realize that what we're hearing is from her earliest demos.
"I recorded the vocals for "“Jarðartrá" in an old abandoned Tjørnuvík school during the middle of the night", Eivør says. "I tried to re-do them later, but I couldn't capture the same feeling".

April 17 – Washington, D.C. @ DAR Constitution Hall w/ special guest Eivør [TICKETS]
April 23 – Morrison, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheater w/ special guest Eivør [SOLD OUT]
Eivør calls her Nordic home in the remote Faroe Islands a landscape of extremes. Sitting in the North Atlantic Ocean just above Scotland and southeast of Iceland, with a total population of about 50,000, the climate is “full of contrasts—very dark, heavy winters and bright summers.” Growing up in a small village there, of about 400 people, it’s those contrasts that have inspired Eivør’s music throughout her career, as well as the Faroe Islands’ intense and still-vibrant connection to its own folk music traditions. “A very strong part of Faroese culture is singing together—anywhere people gather, there will be singing,” Eivør explains. “When you listen to old Faroese traditional music, it’s sung acapella and takes you back to its Renaissance roots. It’s pure, expressive, and untamed.”
Often considered to be one of the most prolific and unique Nordic artists of her generation, Eivør has released 11 studio albums to date, crossing musical genres and always pushing the bounds of the expected. Awarded with the Nordic Council Music Price in 2021, Eivør’s musical journey continues to fascinate.
As a young teenager, Eivør was immersed in the tight-knit local music scene, playing with 20-something musicians in jazz bands as well as rock bands influenced by Portishead, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Sigur Rós and similar acts.
By 16, Eivør released her debut solo collection of Faroese-sung folk-pop. One year later, she left home to study classical singing in Reykjavík, Iceland—soon winning two Icelandic Music Awards for her sophomore album. She spent the ensuing years living in Copenhagen and building a career playing folk festivals, but by 2010, Eivør was ready for a change. Her daring Larva album eschewed the folksiness of her previous work for experimentation and electronics. “I needed to free myself from boxes,” she said. It was the beginning of a new chapter that continues with her richly atmospheric new album, ENN.
The process of ENN built on Eivør’s recent immersion into production and beat-making, but began with a return to classical music. She and her partner, the classical composer Tróndur Bogason, had decamped to a tiny Faroe Islands mountain village of 50 people, called Tjørnuvík with no agenda but to “write freely” for a possible side project. “Slowly I realized: I shouldn’t think about this as a side project,” Eivør said. “This is where I am at right now creatively.” The first track she worked on there became ENN’s melancholic closer, “Gaia,” which Eivør calls “a love hymn for the Earth” that reminded her of the Renaissance music she loved in her youth. On that trip, Eivør also wrote ENN’s opener, “Ein Klóta,” a song about “watching your world from afar” as it changes. “I felt I was making a concept album, in a sense, about the Earth, about our home, our planet. Then it developed into both nature but also human nature—both the outer and the inner landscape, and the struggles of the heart, the struggles between the Earth and humans.”
In recent years, Eivør has composed extensively for film, television and video games(The Last Kingdom, God of War) and the cinematic structures of those scores found their way in alongside the music’s propulsive beats, omnipresent rooting in Faroese folk, and the classical flourishes of her opera training. Some of the songs feel like vistas or panoramas moving unexpectedly. “After writing the first two more spacious tracks, the idea started to grow in my head of almost a space opera,” Eivør said. “I was like, what if this journey starts out in space, and you watch the Earth? And you’re so far away from everything that you ever knew? Where am I going? What is this adventure?” The result was a synthesis of her career to date—her curiosity about beat making and noisy expressiveness, combined with the purity of classical music and cinematic atmospheres—and that sonic biography plays out beautifully on ENN’s second track “Jardartra.” It begins with a lurching beat “almost like a heartbeat,” and Eivør wrote it from the Earth’s point of view, as if “Earth is calling on us in the midst of all our human greed and destruction and beckoning us to find our way back to her blue embrace.”
Most of the lyrics, sung entirely in Faroese, were penned in collaboration with the Faroese poet Marjun Syderbø Kjelnæs. Eivør calls the lyrics to the title track especially “hardcore.” The song is about war— “the wars that are going on in the world especially lately, but that have always been going on,” Eivør says, “and how to find a glimpse of light in this overwhelming darkness.” The guttural penultimate track, “Upp Úr Øskuni,” is a thrilling outlier mixing growling beatboxing with visceral throat singing (it’s certainly Eivør’s most metal moment). She considers “Upp Úr Øskuni” a beacon of female empowerment and solidarity. “I wanted to write about sisterhood and women supporting each other, and these raw female elements which are not pretty and not polite, just raw,”
Eivør says. “I wanted it to be wild and untamed. It’s quite witchy. When I wrote the song, I imagined a coven of witches from the past and the present all supporting each other, chanting to each other across the chasm of time.”
After independently releasing her music for many years, ENN marks Eivør’s debut for the metal label Season of Mist—and though her compositions sit outside of any one genre, she is happy to be embraced by the metal community. She identified a shared pagan sensibility in her television scores like The Last Kingdom. “I never felt I really fit into any box,” said Eivør. “I just have to do it my own way.” Recorded with her touring band in the Faroe Islands—where she now lives again, splitting time between her homeland and Denmark—Eivør called ENN “my most pleasurable and also most painful process. I felt that I was stepping into a place where I hadn’t been before, and that’s always scary because you don’t feel that you touch the ground. But it opens up your creativity and takes you to someplace new. It’s woven together all my experiences for the past 10 years, and it’s grounded me.”

Bodysnatcher Drop New Track "Murder8" Featuring Jamey Jasta + Official Music Video via MNRK Heavy
Heavy Floridian quartet Bodysnatcher have today released their new track "Murder8", featuring the inimitable Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. Through the haunting, visceral storytelling in the accompanying official music video, "Murder8" serves as an urgent and poignant reminder of the devastating impact of drug overdose. Speaking on the inspiration behind today's release, Bodysnatcher drummer Chris Whited commented:
"'Murder8' is a street name for Fentanyl. I lost my older brother in 2022 to fentanyl and then I lost my younger sister just one year later in 2023 to fentanyl as well. Opioids have been prescribed at alarming rates since the early 2000’s and have affected millions of families across the world, especially the United States. If you have lost someone due to overdose this song goes out to you."
The band will also be releasing an early vinyl-only release of their upcoming EP 'Vile Conduct' on Record Store Day in participating locations (more info here). Stream "Murder8" here and watch the official music video below.

Drawing their name from the infamous Plainfield Ghoul, Ed Gein, Bodysnatcher know a thing or two about darkness, brutality and aggression. Since their 2014 inception in Melbourne, Florida, Bodysnatcher have been bringing nothing but the finest in furious, extreme music. Combining crushing breakdowns with eerie ambience, scathing riffs and grisly grooves, the band have become synonymous with “heavy,” invoking violence in every city they happen to visit, spawning mosh pits that leave nothing but craters in their wake.
With each release, Bodysnatcher have added depth to their dynamic, proving they are an ever-growing and changing act with the singular purpose of absolutely obliterating the listener. In 2015, mere months after their formation, the act exploded into the worldwide underground with the release of their debut EP, Abandonment. Considered one of the “Rushmore” releases of the American Downtempo wave, Abandonment took Bodysnatcher around the country, delivering breakdowns and broken bones to venues from Southern Florida to California. The band’s debut full length that followed, Death of Me (Stay Sick Records), saw the band mature from their modest downtempo roots into something more diverse and devastating, incorporating a blend of contemporary metal and hardcore elements to create something that saw Bodysnatcher start to blur conventional genre lines. Death of Me would skyrocket the band’s notoriety even higher, including a headlining west coast tour with Extortionist (Unique Leader Records) in support. Almost immediately after the release of Death of Me, Bodysnatcher underwent a significant lineup change, bringing aboard Chris Whited (King Conquer, 1776 Recordings) as percussionist and producer alongside Kyle Carter(Beacons) and Kyle Shope (Float Face Down) on guitar and bass respectively. With all three of them working alongside the titanic range and unmistakable vitriol of frontman Kyle Medina as songwriters, a deluxe re-release of their debut LP featuring five all-new songs followed not long after the line-up was cemented. Those songs segued Bodysnatcher into a new sound and style that would not full materialize until their two follow up releases, This Heavy Void (2020) and Bleed-Abide (2022). These records together would not only see the band signing with premier heavy music label MNRK Heavy, but would also highlight the band’s unique ability to blend harrowingly personal tales of love and loss with blistering aggression. Between This Heavy Void’s “Twelve/Seventeen” and Bleed-Abide’s “Smashed Perception,” the band seemed to encompass the alpha and omega of all things eviscerating—emotionally or, well, literally.
Since Bleed-Abide, Bodysnatcher have continued their tireless grind, touring across the country with the likes of AngelMaker, Hatebreed, Dying Fetus, Emmure, We Came as Romans and more—and spending plenty of time inoculating overseas lands with their unique concoction of crushing brutality as well. 2024 witnesses the band depart for not one, but two colossal ventures with former label mates SPITE—across both Europe and the continental United States.
From their earnest beginnings as one of the United States’ premiere exporters of bludgeoning, beefy breakdowns to now one of the country’s most renowned heavy music exports, Bodysnatcher are a peerless example of hard work, dedication and—of course—devastating heaviness. - Connor Welsh
