The tour announcement comes on the heels of Aldean’s 11th studio album release earlier this month. Featured by CBS Mornings, Associated Press, Billboard, The Tennessean, LA Times, American Songwriter, Fox and Friends and more, Aldean released his album-inspired by the same name, HIGHWAY DESPERADO-on November 3rd. The album includes fourteen total tracks, including Aldean’s breakthrough Hot 100 chart-topping single “Try That In A Small Town,” which recently became his 28th career #1 single at Country radio, as well as three tracks co-written by Aldean-a first since his 2009 Wide Open album-as well as his new radio single, “Let Your Boys Be Country.” The 3X ACM Entertainer of the Year winner first introduced new music from the album in May with the release of the fan-appreciation anthem, “Tough Crowd,” at this year’s ACM Awards, where Aldean-a 3X winner in the category- was an Entertainer of the Year nominee. He also earned two nominations-both for “Top Song Sales Artist” and “Top Selling Song” for “Try That In A Small Town”- at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

Aldean recently released the music video for his next single, “Let Your Boys Be Country,” with special guest appearances by his young son and daughter. Written by Allison Veltz Cruz, Jaron Boyer, and Micah Wilshire, “Let Your Boys Be Country” off of the new album highlights the simplicity and innocence of childhood and rural life, with American Songwriter noting “lines like ‘Let everything inside these county lines be his whole world. You want him to grow up to be someone he’s damn proud to be. Mamas, let your boys be country’ nail the mindset of the song.” HIGHWAY DESPERADO follows Aldean’s double album MACON, GEORGIA, which earned Aldean his #1 single, "Trouble With A Heartbreak,” as well as a Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top Country Song” and awards from ACM, CMT, iHeart, and a GRAMMY nomination for “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood. Since making his chart debut in 2005, the Georgia native has earned the most Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart - more than any other artist - his “songs of small-town living, love and loss have resonated with a loyal fanbase” (Billboard) and have “vaulted him to the pinnacle of Country music success” (Atlanta Journal Constitution).

Imminence Share "Death By A Thousand Cuts" Video — WATCH // Band Touring North American NOW!

Swedish alternative metalcore outfit Imminence have established their own highly unique sound and have pushed their style.

With the distinct use of classical string arrangements blended with the influence of ferocious Scandinavian metal, the sound and visual universe of the quintet stands out as an  innovative and exciting act. Fronted by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström, and bassist Christian Höijer, Imminence have opened a new release cycle with three singles out since June 2023. The new tracks "Come Hell or High Water," "Desolation," and "Heaven Shall Burn" have quickly achieved millions of streams and achieved a rapid growth in social media following, furthermore given the band great attention during this year's festival season, where Imminence performed at Wacken, Summerbreeze, Tuska Open Air, Reload, shared stage with genre pioneers Architects, and much more.

Imminence recently announced their very first tour in North America.

As always, the group never ceases to do the unexpected, and decided to embark on the tour as a headliner. Within 48 hours, the entire tour was sold out and some venues are now upgraded for the second time. To really honor the live premiere in North America, Imminence are taking the opportunity to release the brand new single "Death By A Thousand Cuts."

Watch the video below.

The cycle of the previous album Heaven In Hiding closed with an exclusive Deluxe Edition release, including the single track "Jaded" (2023), shortly thereafter Imminence continued to gain viral attention on all social media platforms, partially due to the remarkable "Live In Studio" recordings, and experienced an impressive growth of +100 000 followers and millions of streams over the course of just a few months this year.

With four full length studio albums, over 220,000,000 streams, and over 570,000 combined online followers and closing in on 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners, Imminence monumental touring history continues this winter. After selling out headline shows all over the European continent and supporting metal legends In Flames in late 2022, the announcement of the band's first-ever tour in North America has been an astounding success and Imminence are ready to take on the role as an established live act in the U.S. and Canada market from here on.

Alluvial Share NSFW "Death Is But a Door" Video

ALLUVIAL — Kevin Muller [vocals], Wes Hauch [guitar, vocals], Tim Walker [bass], and Zach Dean [drums] — will release their new EP, Death Is But a Door on January 12 via Nuclear Blast.

They have just shared the video for
the title track. It was directed by Juan Carlos Escobar Salazar.

The plot-driven video traces the mental and emotional descent of a man against an apocalyptic urban backdrop. Trigger warning: The video does include scenes of gun violence.

Watch it below.

"The best of us carry a dormant horror," the band says about the track. "The very worst of us still have a heart."

The director also chimed in, saying, "Ever since I heard Alluvial's Sarcoma, they quickly became one of my absolute favorite bands. As a musician myself, I was blown away by their technicality, brutality, and their devastating wall of sound in their songs. So when my friend Mada Fleming introduced me to Kevin Muller literally a couple months ago, he mentioned the possibility of collaborating on a music video for a song in their upcoming EP. I was more than thrilled! Through a phone call, Wes Hauch and Kevin gave me the premise of what they had in mind for the video. After knowing what their vision was, I reached out to the incredibly talented actor, writer, producer, and director Nickolas Jacobs and through a lot of work and ingenuity, we delivered a piece that encapsulates the vision of the band and the atmosphere of the song. As a cinematographer, I had a lot of fun creating this; as a musician and a huge fan, it was an honor being part of this project with Alluvial and Nuclear Blast Records."

Alluvial just wrapped a successful U.S. tour supporting TesseracT and will hit the road again this winter with Veil of Maya and Angelmaker. All dates are below.

Expect more from the band in 2024.

Darkness and despair are a breeding ground for creativity in the right hands. Since their inception in 2017, Atlanta-based band Alluvial have embraced the grim and gloom that the world has to offer through an intricately balanced blend of rapid-fire polyrhythms, haunting, sludgy atmospheres and tightly wound grooves. The band takes a stab at creating an even more sinister sound than their previous album, Sarcoma, Death Is But a Door.

"We wrote about 13 or 14 songs this summer, but we wanted to do this EP between Sarcoma and our next full-length. These songs align with the vibe we want to go for. We will always find a way to be darker from record to record in the same way that South of Heaven was heavier than Reign In Blood and Seasons In The Abyss was heavier than South Of Heaven," says Hauch. "It was that concept of chasing the dragon to find a way to top the message and vibe on the last record while finding a way to do it that made us excited."

After releasing their instrumental debut full-length, The Deep Longing for Annihilation, the band hit the road. Although the album has racked up millions of streams, there was always an intent to add a vocalist to their following releases. Hauch had begun writing what would become Sarcoma in 2018 and recruited Muller, knowing his vocal prowess from the vocalist's time in Suffocation.

Bringing Muller into the fold immediately elevated the band’s sound, but Death Is But a Door shows the synergy that the band has developed from working as a cohesive unit over the last few years.

Although the band's mission is to drive into bleaker and heavier territory with each new release, they manage to bring balance to their sound. While they remain grounded in death metal, the band's approach finds them exploring all of their influences. From traditional thrash like Pantera or Metallica to darker grunge like Alice in Chains or Soundgarden and everything in between, Alluvial aim to keep listeners on their toes by pushing beyond the realms of death metal.

"I wanted to have a band where we can write meaningful yet action-packed songs. Something that is terrifying but breaks your heart at the same time. I think we'll always chase that, but we want to find new ways to be heavy," says Hauch.

With the band’s members being as ingrained in the death metal scene as they are — with members previously playing in The Faceless, Suffocation and more — listeners can rest assured they’ll be met with plenty of brutality throughout their music. The twists and turns into clean passages, atmospheric ambience, or any of the other musical avenues explored throughout Alluvial's music take them over the edge and invite listeners to return and find something previously undiscovered.

After 24-year wait, THE VELDT opens time-capsule with the release of their Robin Guthrie-produced 'Illuminated 1989' album

"This album is not only a historical sonic document, but it’s a shimmering, charming, sensual and cinematic body of remarkable psychedelic rock that resembles nothing currently in the music sphere" ~ Spill Magazine

US alternative rock / postpunk outfit
The Veldt release their 'Illuminated 1989' album on November 24 via Portland-based Little Cloud Records and North Carolina’s 5BC Records. This is the original 1989 full-length record produced by Cocteau Twins' Robin Guthrie, previewed by the latest offering 'Angel Heart', the lead track 'The Everlasting Gobstopper', and the single 'Aurora Borealis' (with Elizabeth Fraser making a cameo appearance on backing vocals), plus a B-side remix, created by The Veldt.

Guthrie
also remastered the album for vinyl earlier this year. While originally intended to be the band's first album, their label Capitol Records shelved the recording and sent them back into the studio with producer Lincoln Fong (Moose), resulting in their first album released with the title 'Marigolds'.

One of the most notable first-wave shoegaze bands, formed in North Carolina in the 1980s, The Veldt revolves around identical twins Daniel Chavis (vocals, guitar) and Danny Chavis (guitar). Their unique sound was influenced by Cocteau Twins as readily as Marvin Gaye and free-jazz warriors Sun Ra and Pharaoh Sanders. Referencing European post-punk while embracing modern hip-hop, these trailblazers work with transient dreamscapes as fluidly as solid song structures.

Pitchfork included The Veldt's album
'Afrodisiac', produced by the legendary Ray Shulman (The Sundays, Bjork, The Sugarcubes) and released via Mercury Records, in the top 50 shoegaze albums ever released, while Stereogum included ‘Until You’re Forever’ in the top 31 shoegaze tracks. Their sound also inspired future generations of alternative artists, including TV On the Radio.

The Veldt's journey is fascinating. Performing since they were children, the Chavis brothers’ musical roots lead back to the church and southern juke-joints, and listening to music that included gospel, Motown and Pink Floyd. The Veldt formed in the late 80’s in Raleigh amongst the legendary North Carolina music scene of the time, initially signing with Mammoth Records - leading to a chain of major-label relationships that took the group across Europe and the U.S. playing shows with the likes of Throwing Muses, Pixies, Cocteau Twins and Jesus & Mary Chain.

After moving from Raleigh to New York, they briefly performed as Apollo Heights before returning to their original name The Veldt. Joined by Japanese bassist-programmer Hayato Nakao, they together forging music that is a heady and sensual blend of shoegaze and progressive soul, dreamy soundscapes and infectious grooves. Some of the band's recent notable releases include
'The Shocking Fuzz Of Your Electric Fur' EP (2017) and the album 'Entropy is the Mainline to God' (2022).

Over the years, The Veldt has collaborated with TV On The Radio, Mos Def, Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite), A.R.Kane and toured or played with Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Pixies, Throwing Muses, Echo & The Bunnymen, Cocteau Twins, Manic Street Preachers, Phantogram, Modern English, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Oasis, Chuck D, Living Colour and Schooly D.

On November 24, the 'Illuminated 1989' album will be released digitally via Portland-based
Little Cloud Records and 5BC Records, and available from fine music platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp.  The Veldt is currently touring the USA and will be joined by TREMOURS throughout December, culminating in a performance at Seattle's KEXP. The album will be released on vinyl on December 15.

WORMHOLE Announce US Tour with Gorod

Wormhole emerged from the underground this year with Almost Human, their first album for Season of Mist.

"Straight up, 'Almost Human' is a contender for Album of the Year for me", wrote Michael Centrone for
New Noise.

The Baltimore space invaders are taking their signature tech-slam combo out on the road next year with Gorod, the French gods of tech-death. They'll be writhing their way down the East Coast, with an early pit stop in their hometown nesting chamber, before sliming all across the American Southwest. Joining the party are New Jersey's blackened death metal progressives Hath, as well as the all-seeing Exist, who will be playing their first shows since 2020.

"We are humbled and excited to be joining Gorod on tour this January", says Wormhole. "Their influence on us and death metal is profound and we cannot wait to play with and watch them every night".

When they're not dusting kids at Nintendo or throwing on the odd Saturday morning cartoon, Wormhole are out honing their signature combo of brutal, technical death metal. Or, as they call it, tech slam. Since 2016, the band have been oozing up from Baltimore's underground. Now, with Almost Human, they've broken through to the next level.

Lead single "
System Erase" zips the whole tech-slam experience into one tightly clenched polygon fist as drummer Matt Tillett and bassist Basil Chiasson rip through two or three different time shifts before the breakdown comes and swallows you up with the slow, crushing force of a black hole.  Brothers Sanil and Sanjay Kumar shoot off pixelated pangs of dissonance on "Elysiism". Meanwhile, Julian Kersey's death growl is so fierce and rotten on "Spine Shatter High-Velocity Impact" , you can practically smell the stench wafting through your speakers.

"Wormhole delivered a record that holds the power to redefine how brutal tech death and slam-oriented artists write future materials", declared
Angry Metal Guy. "Only time will tell if those artists actually listen, but you definitely should".

When you invent your own genre, you can make the rules, and in space, no one can correct your math. If Wormhole’s excellent The Weakest Among Us was 50% tech death and 50% slamming brutal death metal, their Season of Mist debut is a veritable leveling up of the Baltimore-based act’s trademark “tech slam.” It’s the kind of record that can scramble your brain and give your neck a nice chiropractic workout; Almost Human feels like the future of extreme metal, dropped down from either outer space or delivered by Nintendo cartridge (more on that later).

So, what the hell exactly is “tech slam?” Well, the gleefully amorphous and unholy term comes from an ethos that guitarists Sanil “Noni” Kumar and Sanjay Kumar discovered and perfected over (probably) thousands of hours of Metroid and Doom games, as well as, you know, actual musical mastery. Almost Human, out September 22, 2023, is more powerful, more agile, and more confounding for pie-chart-enthusiasts than anything else that came before it. The sequel is always bigger, darker, and in this case, covered in much more pixelated space horror viscera. My Wormholio calculator puts their sound at 91% tech and 89% slam, with an increase in awesome stats somewhere in the 420% range. There’s also a clear emphasis on amplifying their dissonant death influence, the kind of eerie melodies that feel like being stomped on by Samus.

There’s a clear balance to everything on Almost Human: the songs are more adventurous while also being instantly memorable. No two songs sound alike, and that diversity in songcraft (level design?) sees Wormhole pushing and pulling along their tech and slam dials to figure out what’s best for the song; spoiler, it’s always riffs. What also becomes evident after repeated listens is how carefully the Kumar brothers understand a sense of place, humor, and a consistent vibe. This is still the same band that’s known for throwing on Saturday morning cartoons, and Almost Human continues to hammer home that Wormhole the musical entity is deadly serious, but the guys that make tech slam are not stoic creatures. There’s a warmth and sense of joy when chatting with them that only gets brighter when you ask their favorite Metroid game (that’s a question for a live show). So, what is this vibe they are chasing? Sanjay shares:

“The tech slam imagery is based on Metroid lore, Doom lore, and we haven't written a song about it yet, but Alien as well. Those three things are brutal sci-fi universes, so we're trying to embody that sound. The slam riffs, you can connect the brutal killing of stuff with the brutal chunky riffs; that's been a match that's existed since the nineties. So that's the slam part, and then the tech part was harder to fit that vibe, so we kind of do it differently. I lean into very dissonance-vibe stuff, like Artificial Brain and Dysrhythmia. I think disso-death and heavy, they aren't usually paired together, even though they should be.”

“And then as far as chasing the vibe,” Noni adds, “I kind of go about it two ways. With the Metroid soundtrack or universe, that vibe, there's some dark and gloomy atmosphere, but there's a lot of pretty imagery as well. We wanted to find a way to match that very pretty, kind of out-there sound cohesively in songs with a very aggressive and guttural approach.”

Like another famous sci-fi horror masterpiece of a different media, Wormhole’s shifting, amorphous style is perfectly suited to blend in and amaze just about any fan of heavy music. That’s The Thing: they can pull off whatever they want, but it’s always boiled down to that tech slam vibe. Do you like tech, melody, breakdowns, atmosphere, or dissonance? Tech slam can fill whatever void you seek.

If previous albums were early generation, lower-resolution visions of tech slam, Almost Human is the 4K reboot, where you can see every pixel of terror and awe. Wormhole are absolutely ready for their closeup. Prepare your worms and your holes, tech slam is here to stay.

EXTREME Announce Tour + Share "THICKER THAN BLOOD" Video

Boston's EXTREME will return to the UK and Europe to spark a new revolution that will take over stages from London to Milan and all points in-between. Non-stop touring behind their rapturously received new album SIX has already seen the band crisscross the U.S., as well as thrill audiences in Australia and Japan.

To set off this next leg of their journey and prepare fans for the Extreme live experience, the band shared a new video for "THICKER THAN BLOOD," filmed from a unique perspective.

"With the 'Thicker Than Blood' video, we wanted to shoot a video that celebrates the fifth and most important member of the band — our fans," video co-director and Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt explains. "So we shot it from the fan's point of view."

Watch the video
below.

Globe-spanning footage from California, Australia, and Japan shows just how intense the connection between band and fans can get in the live arena.

"No matter how great a band believes they are, you cannot achieve your dreams of touring the world and doing what you love most, performing, without your fans. It's the most important relationship in our career," Betterncourt continues.

With Living Colour supporting in the UK and many dates along the way already sold out, the excitement and anticipation for Extreme's return to these shores is electric... and "Thicker Than Blood" is high-wire proof of what the fuss is all about.

Chase Rice Announces 'Get Western 2024 Tour' Launching in February

Kicking off in Vancouver, the run will visit 11 Canadian cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and more throughout February. Rice will also preface the run with a headlining show in Seattle, Wash. earlier in the month.

Rising star and Canada native Owen Riegling joins as direct support across most dates, with Fort Worth-based singer-songwriter Palmer Anthony joining in Seattle and Vancouver. See the full list of dates below for details.

Tickets to all Canada dates go on sale this Friday, Nov. 24, while tickets for Seattle, Wash. are available to purchase now via

“From radio to live shows, Canada has always been so good to us,” notes Rice. “I had the chance to explore even more of the beautiful country during my time off from touring earlier this summer, and I can’t wait to come back in the new year for these shows with our Canadian fans.”

Fans will be treated to performances of Rice’s chart-topping hits as well as songs off his latest album,
I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell. Recorded during an immersive two-week period at Rice’s farm outside Nashville with producer Oscar Charles and a live band using a makeshift recording setup, the album showcases a more raw, vulnerable side of the man praised by the Tennessean for having “crashed through a glass ceiling both he and the industry had imposed on his career” with the project and by Billboard as “an artist who’s somehow managed to totally change his handwriting a decade in.”

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.5 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the critically acclaimed album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio available everywhere now, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the Western way of life. The new music, including current single “Bad Day To Be A Cold Beer” and standout track “Bench Seat,” serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours, including the recently-wrapped Way Down Yonder Tour in support of his new music.

The Intemperate Sons Release Official Music Video for Single "Dark Day's Night" via FRAME|WORK/INgrooves

Indie rock band The Intemperate Sons released the title track off the yet to be released, Dark Day’s Night LP (set for early 2024). The track was produced by Amir Derakh and The Intemperate Sons at The Kitchen Recording Studios in Dallas, TX. A brand-new music video for the single was released today, 11/17/2023 to the usual platforms.

The Intemperate Sons get a little darker about their outlook on humanity in this track exploring the underbelly of social media and the effects on society as well as personal relationships. Yet, in the end, it isn’t too late to turn back!

All Intemperate Sons’ tracks are mixed by Amir Derakh in Long Beach, CA. All mastering is done by Mike Marsh Mastering in the U.K.

The Intemperate Sons release all their music through the Frame|Work/INgroovesrecord label at the direction of Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck. The Intemperate Sons are managed by Denny Sanders at The Label Group.

The Intemperate Sons emerged onto the rock scene in the summer of 2019 in Dallas, TX, to bring their distinct sound to the genre. A deep love for music brought family members Keith Watson (drums), Jake Watson (guitars) and Max Watson (vocals, guitars, keys) together along with close friend Mark Marks, who provides the groove on bass to unite everything together. The band's sound has been described as a 90's alternative style that is obsessed with the 70's.

"Dark Day's Night" can be streamed at:

https://ffm.to/tis-dark-days-night

https://ffm.bio/theintemperatesons

Keith is well acquainted with entertaining massive crowds of concert goers and has played with many successful bands in Dallas, such as Gun Hill, Natural Born Thrillers and Agents of Solace, on top of opening for Lynch Mob, Joe Lynn Turner and Sponge. He is the primary lyricist for the band and has written the music for some of their most successful songs, including “Dust to Dust,” “The Color Within,” and “Unrealized.”

Multi-talented and gifted with the ability to play various instruments, Max is also the lead vocalist of the group. Along with being musically dexterous, he has also collaborated with Keith to write lyrics on the released songs “Going Crazy” and “Way Back When.” In the studio, Max usually surmounts expectations and goes above and beyond to prepare prior to a session with his own vocal harmonies.

Jake is the song architect of the Sons and extremely instrumental in the crafting of the music. His inventive ways of bringing lyrics to life in clever ways are unprecedented and fascinating to see in the studio setting. He is a prolific writer of music as well and is credited with helping create the songs “What’s Done is Done,” “Remission,” “Way Back When” and “Wading in the Gray.” Both Max and he play lead guitar on many of the songs as well. The other members of the band fondly refer to him as the “art director” since he enjoys taking charge in those areas for the group.

Prolific and unifying, Mark is an accomplished bass player and well known in Dallas. He was in the regionally successful band, Haggard, and had opened for Sebastian Bach of Skid Row. His input in song writing has been invaluable to the process of creating captivating melodies.

Despite the pandemic putting a pause on many major events, The Intemperate Sons lived up to their name and let nothing hold them back from making music. Constantly hard at work in the studio, they have collaborated with Amir Derakh (Julien-K, Dead by Sunrise, Orgy, Rough Cutt) and Ryan Shuck (Julien-K, Adema, Dead by Sunrise, Orgy). Both have lent their musical talents to various songs and ultimately have brought the Sons on to their label, Frame|Work. This led the band to also recently join the management roster at The Label Group. Ryan worked with Amir to produce the band’s upcoming track, “Game of Keep Away,”and has had a huge impact on the group. He’s been especially influential on Max’s vocal melodies and delivery. Amir also plays guitar on this latest ballad and has been mixing all of the band’s music as well as performing on multiple songs.

Another notable collaboration has been with Tony Franklin (The Firm, Roy Harper, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Whitesnake), primarily on the first album, The Color Within. He has been a valuable friend of the band and has played bass on some of their best tracks from that album, including “Running Man,” “Dust to Dust” and “The Color Within.”

The Intemperate Sons’ take on alternative rock is a dark and powerful concoction of hard rock mixed with folk and grunge concepts. The band has earned a serious reputation for writing and performing tracks that scratch deep into the backbone of the human experience. There is no shortage of darkness in their writing style, which has a retro vibe with many guitar-driven tracks stacked on top of a groovy rhythm section. The heavier style fits perfectly with the two and three-part vocal harmonies that are a huge part of their overall sound. It has been said that musicians that are related form unique sounds and communicate at a frequency only they can understand. This frequency has become engrained in their songwriting, arrangements, guitar melodies and vocal harmonies. The band has been compared to Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and even R.E.M.

The Intemperate Sons are:

Max Watson (vocals, backing vocals, guitars, keys, bass)

Jake Watson (guitars, bass and backing vocals)

Keith Watson (drums, backing vocals)

Mark Marks (bass)

BEING AS AN OCEAN Unveil Emotive New Single "Flesh and Bone"

Melodic post-hardcore trailblazers Being As An Ocean have today released their emotionally charged single, "Flesh & Bone", a powerful exploration of the duality between the pursuit of dreams and the yearning for home. Experience the heartrending beauty of "Flesh & Bone" HERE. Watch the official music video below.

Pre-order the band's upcoming album, 'Death Can Wait' (out February 2nd, 2024 via Out Of Line Records) HERE.

Providing further context for "Flesh & Bone", the band shares

"Flesh & Bone seeks to describe the splitting of the soul that happens when one gives themselves to their passions, dreams, and obsessions. It is about the feeling of longing for home while being away, while also acknowledging that too much time spent in comfort is time taken away from the unknown, discovery, and adventure. The song is about missing loved ones from the road: the isolation that can be felt when you are away from your support network, especially when you are emotionally low. When the road has become a part of who you are or has shaped you in significant ways, no matter how much you hold those you love dear or how precious the time spent at home, the road still pulls at you and your spirit still hears its call," the band elucidates, capturing the essence of the new single."

With "Flesh & Bone", Being As An Ocean invites listeners to a profound journey through the tumultuous landscape of an artist's heart. It is an anthem that resonates with the sweet sorrow of parting, and the unshakable hope that beckons with every step away from the familiar. Following a successful headlining tour with Of Virtue and SENNA, this single emerges as the third prelude to their highly anticipated album, 'Death Can Wait' set for release on February 2nd, 2024 through Out Of Line Music. Another extremely personal set of songs loaded with pure emotion continuing the band's legacy of crafting deep, introspective music that speaks to the soul.

Being As An Ocean will be playing a special, one-off show at LA's Teragram Ballroom on December 16th, supporting Crown The Empire and will be embarking on a UK & European tour in February next year with Currents on their 'The Death We Seek UK/EU Tour' with Oceans Ate Alaska and Sentinels. For tickets and for more info, head HERE. Full routing below.

Post Profit Release "Self Defeater" EP + Share "Two Toxic"

Newly signed SHARPTONE RECORDS band POST PROFIT — Matt Jackson [vocals, guitar], Nick Hawner [guitar +vocals], and Zach Hicks [drums + vocals] — released their six-song EP, Self Defeater, today, November 17, via SharpTone Records. Get it here.

The band has shared the visualizer for "Two Toxic." Watch + listen
below.

"With 'Two Toxic,' we wanted to do something different and show a more emotional side with what we call an 'anti' love song," the band says. "Lyrically, it touches on the feeling of being in love, but also highlights the negative effects that often come with it.  We put aggressive driving guitars and accents up against gentle delicate moments to resemble that push and pull effect."

The band continues, "We're excited for you all to hear this song and the rest of the EP Self Defeater in its fullness. We've poured our heart, soul, and emotion into it and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did creating it for you. Thank you so much."

Fresh off a spate of dates supporting Nothing More and Dead Poet Society, Post Profit are currently wrapping up a co-headline tour with Silly Goose, with much more touring planned for 2024. All remaining dates with Silly Goose are below. Get tickets
here.

Stay tuned for much more from Post Profit in 2024.

POST PROFIT ON TOUR:
WITH SILLY GOOSE:

11/18 —  New Orleans, LA — Parish @ House of Blues
11/20 —  Nashville, TN — The End

ABOUT POST PROFIT
Some would say Post Profit have been waiting for this moment since the cradle, with each member being introduced to musical instruments between the ages of 2 to 6.

Zach and Matt forged a friendship as toddlers ever since their moms became best friends from church in Longview, TX. Nick would later learn of Matt's vocal prowess through the high school intercom. "Matt's father was the high school principal," explains Nick. "And he'd have Matt on there in the mornings singing about refraining from drugs and alcohol and striving for good school attendance."

Over the next few years, the trio would really get to know each other from attending and performing at local shows. Nick and Zach especially hit it off and quickly became inseparable, spending much of their time listening to music, eager to put their own band together. Meanwhile, Matt was sinking his teeth into a Dallas based metalcore band called Far From Earth.

During early 2017, Matt started hosting open jams every Sunday at a smoky East Texas dive bar and one night asked Zach to join on drums. Zach dragged his new friend Nick along on guitar and the trio quickly formed a strong musical bond. They would soon start slipping originals into their covers sets and after months of unrelenting practices and bar jams they booked their first show at a Halloween party in Tyler, TX.

With the experience of countless gigs across the South, Post Profit soon gained a reputation for their commanding and impactful live performance, including powerful 2021 and 2022 performances at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, FL. Rallying around influences such as Deftones, Incubus, Failure, and Quicksand, the band refined their original songs and sound into what would become their 2022 debut self-produced album When You Think It's Right It's Always Wrong.  The release garnered over a million cumulative streams independently, and the success of their single "Smother" grabbed the attention of SharpTone Records, eventually landing them a deal.

Chaotic Hardcore Newcomers APOSTLE Unleash Vicious New Song + Video, "Pain"

Blackened atmospheric chaotic hardcore newcomers APOSTLE are now unleashing their vicious new single, "Pain," along with a lyric video! The single is taken from the band's upcoming EP, 'Liminal,' which is due on December 15 via Terminus Hate City Records! The clip can be found below.

The band comments, "'Pain' was the first track we began working on when we set out to write what would become 'Liminal.' As with every track on this release, they were all written in our rehearsal space, during rehearsal - making the writing process one of total collaboration and the environment as conducive for organic flow states of creativity. We wanted these songs to be straightforward in their arrangements and delivery and we didn’t want to fixate, overindulge or totally run parts into the ground. Rather, we wanted the movements to be quick and intentional, keeping things dynamic and driving."

Pre-orders are now live for 'Liminal' HERE.

In addition, APOSTLE will be performing two hometown shows before the end of the year. The full run is as follows:

Upcoming Apostle U.S. Dates:

11/17: Atlanta, GA @ Bogg’s Social and Supply (JabroniFest)

12/09: Atlanta, GA @ 529

Apostle's vicious new offering is fueled by the collective prowess of guitarist and vocalist Murice White, bassist Michael Thomas, and drummer Evan Price. Apostle breaks new ground with 'Liminal,' citing many diverse influences, and crafting a sonic landscape that defies categorization.

Murice White's guitar work is a fierce force, delivering textured riffs that traverse the extremes of aggression and beauty, while his seething vocals add a visceral layer to the record's tapestry. Michael Thomas's groove-laden low end provides a solid backbone, grounding the compositions in a rhythmic foundation that is both formidable and infectious. Evan Price's propulsive batterie propels the music forward, adding a kinetic energy that keeps the violent angst front and center.

From the unrelenting chaos of grindcore to the ethereal tremolos of atmospheric black metal, 'Liminal' embarks on an audacious exploration of the outer reaches of metal's vast spectrum. The warm undertones of shoegaze interlace with a robust foundation of melodic hardcore, providing a dynamic and immersive experience that transcends the boundaries of conventional metal. While hosting audible beauty, there is deep and profound pain throughout the record.

Randall King Offers Baritone-Treatment on Holiday Classic “Silent Night”

With his highly anticipated 18-track sophomore album Into The Neon arriving Jan. 26, 2024, Warner Music Nashville’s Randall King isn’t making fans wait for new music, today offering his Billboard-praised “sturdy baritone” on holiday classic “Silent Night.”

King’s take on “Silent Night,” co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, juxtaposes his signature low-pitched vocals with the dancing high chords of the mandolin, and the steady strum of a steel guitar, offering an upbeat tempo on the holiday favorite. View “Silent Night” lyrics below.

“We ain’t silent on this night, it’s out now!” exclaimed King. “Early Christmas present from me to y’all!”

Into The Neon, also produced by King and Conrad, incorporates a unique blend of the influences from icons and modern masters alike who have inspired King’s sound; inclusive of the timeless ‘80s country twang of George Strait and Keith Whitley, and the blood pumping, Y2K-era rhythms of Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan.

Showcasing his ability to traverse from a toe-tapping waltzer with “When My Baby’s In Boots” to the yearning lament of “I Could Be That Rain,” King lays it all on the line with songs that could just as easily be enjoyed while slow dancing under the starry night sky or while line dancing at a local honky tonk.

King has stayed busy on the road while balancing time in the studio recording new music throughout 2023, recently returning from his first-ever European tour in September, Neon Overseas, with a set of 11 shows, including sold-out stops in Cologne, Germany; London England and more. As the year winds down, King continues to support Jon Pardi and Ian Munsick on select tour dates, while headlining stops in Las Vegas, NV during NFR; Salt Lake City, UT and more.

About Randall King:
One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty with a mix of grit and grace. He grew up singing in the back of a ‘93 Chevy Suburban, mimicking the pure-country vocals of stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson and over the years became drawn to the electrifying energy of modern stars like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album. Now, King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to the mainstream with his major label debut album Shot Glass. The 11-song collection, seven of which were co-written by King, centers around a night out at a bar, with each track representing a different point of view of those in the room. The album was named to Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far), making him the only male country artist to make the list. With over 200+ million career streams to his name, the 2023 Music Mayhem Magazine and 2022 Pandora and Country NowCountry Artist to Watch is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself.

Capstan Share "Bloom" — LISTEN

Florida five-piece CAPSTAN — Anthony DeMario [vocals], Joe Mabry [guitar], Harrison Bormann [guitar], Andrew "Boz" Bozymowski [bass, vocals], and Scott Fisher [drums] — have shared another new single.

Listen to and watch the visualizer for "Bloom"
here. Stream the song here.

"Bloom" demonstrates the softer side of Capstan. Driven by a lilting piano melody, gorgeous vocals, and layered harmonies, it's an emotional journey that packs a sonic lifetime into the space of four minutes. Stick around for the epic ending. It's quite the payoff.

"Every one of us will experience tremendous shifts throughout our lives," the band says, offering a closer look into the song. "We all change drastically as we age, especially as we attempt to overcome our past traumas. 'Bloom' speaks to the journey of learning to focus on the future, instead of the tragedies of the past. A song about growth, and the transition from cyclical self-destructive behavior into hopeful intention for what is to come. It's about the desire to impact the world in a positive, meaningful way, from the perspective of a person who was previously only able to view life through the lens of their trauma. The desire to be the love, be the change. We never stop growing. We never stop blooming."

"Bloom" follows the previously issued double singles "
Bête Noire" + "Heart to Heart."

Captan are touring next year with Holding Absence. All dates are below.

Sleep Theory Share "Fallout" Video — WATCH

Breakout four-piece Sleep Theory — vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt — have shared the video for "Fallout" from their Paper Hearts EP, out now via the Epitaph Records. Get the EP, which has been streamed over 33 million times, here.

The video features intense performance footage colliding with equally intense apocalyptic imagery, both of which fit the urgency of the song. It's a continuation of the end-of-the-world theme seen in the video for "
Numb."

It premiered over at Knotfest.com. Watch it
below.

"Creating 'Fallout' was a very personal for us, and seeing the music video come to life was surreal," the band states. "The emotion in the track is something we poured our hearts into, and we're thrilled that it resonates so powerfully with our fans. [Director] Orie [McGuiness] took our vision and elevated it beyond expectations. The way the music video captures the essence of the song is amazing. We truly couldn't have asked for a better visual representation for this song."

Sleep Theory will hit the road on a 40-date trek with Beartooth, The Plot In You, and Invent Animate in Winter 2024. All dates are below.

Since bursting onto the scene earlier this year, Sleep Theory have gone from strength to strength — and they show no signs of slowing down.

The Paper Hearts EP features two buzzy singles — "Numb" and "Gone or Staying" — and the songs have established Sleep Theory as one of the most exciting and talked about artists of 2023. The band was praised by Loudwire for its ability to "adapt 2000s arena rock and nu-metal for the future with their anthemic metal-tinged sound that would please any fan of Linkin Park and their ilk. At once enthralling, emotional and disarming, SleepTheory's supercharged single 'Numb' is everything a radio rock fan could want. You'll be humming it for days after."

With further press coverage from American Songwriter, Billboard, Celebrity Access, Punktastic, and beyond, as well as major nods from SiriusXM's Octane, Sleep Theory have had a huge 2023 and are clearly gearing up for an even bigger 2024.

In just the past three months, Sleep Theory's monthly listeners have more than doubled, while their YouTube channel views have tripled. They are averaging 1.5 million streams per week, while "Numb" is sitting at No. 16 on the Active Rock chart and continues to climb. The track was No. 1 on on Sirius XM Octane, while the band was the first rock artist included in SiriusXM/Pandora's Artist Accelerator program and will be a part of the Next Wave Concert Series this month.

They've toured with everyone from Shinedown to Set It Off, shared stages with I Prevail and Badflower, and have appeared at Louder Than Life, Rock Fest, ShipRockled, and Point Fest. They also count Jellyroll and Disturbed David Draiman as fans.

this video.

"We couldn't be more excited and honored to be joining the Solid State and Tooth & Nail Records family," the band shares. "Each of us have grown up listening to bands that this record label has helped bring up and put in front of the world, so to have gotten to this point in our individual careers is surreal to say the least. It's a dream come true to have partnered with a legendary record label with such a heavy-hitting and impactful roster.  We look forward to continuing to grow and learn as a band and team. We have a long way to go and there is much work still to be done. We just hope to give back and keep creating art that supplements people’s lives the way that so many artists have supplemented ours. Here's to the future!"

Colorblind quickly began making a name for themselves by playing notable festivals like Vans Warped Tour, So What?! Music Festival, and Texas Independence Fest in their first year. The band combines various aspects of rock, pop, and hip-hop to create a unique sound of their own. Their catchy and addictive vocal melodies combined with an energetic live show has made them a force to be reckoned with. They also toured with Until I Wake, Attack Attack!, and LIMBS in 2023.

About Kolby Cooper:

Only three years out of high school, still living in his small hometown of Bradford, Texas, Kolby Cooper started selling out shows and clocking millions of streams using only his songs as muscle, earning streaming numbers competitive with household names. Now, at only 24 years old, having amassed over 330 million on-demand streams, Cooper’s label debut album Boy From Anderson County To The Moon is out now via BBR Music Group / Wheelhouse Records in partnership with Combustion Music. A prolific songwriter known for his cut-throat, highly relatable break-up anthems and uncensored lyrics, “Cooper has already made quite the name for himself” (American Songwriter), writing songs that fans sing back to him from the very first note, including just-released tracks. “Blazing a trail to stardom” (People), “there’s one thing for certain about Cooper…the man is versatile as all hell. He can have you hyped up through the roof or have you crying in your beer at the corner of a bar on a Friday night” (Whiskey Riff). Now, “Country Music’s Newest Badass” (People) is giving his rabid fanbase exactly what they demanded with his latest “Running Away,” the homesick honesty of “Hello From The Road” and the fiery anthem “Kill Me,” introducing a fresh, pumped-up new sound that’s been commanding his electric live shows. Continuing his strenuous tour schedule throughout 2023, catch Cooper headlining sold-out shows all over the country, bringing with him his signature blend of wailing electric guitar and stadium-level anthems.
