CRADLE OF FILTH:

Positioned firmly at the top of the extreme metal genre, CRADLE OF FILTH reign supreme as one of the most revered, formative and notorious names in the scene, and are undeniably responsible for breaking ground for many of today’s top metal artists with their trademark mixture of grim blackened heaviness, macabre theatricality and scintillating gothic style.

On April 28, 2023, CRADLE OF FILTH dropped their first live album to be released in 20 years, entitled 'Trouble And Their Double Lives'. Recorded between 2014 and 2019 at different performances in the U.S., Europe, Australia and beyond during their “Cryptoriana World Tour” and dates following, 'Trouble And Their Double Lives' serves as a time-capsule of blisteringly intense live energy, and an astounding testament to CRADLE OF FILTH’s renowned latest era. The brand new live onslaught also featured two entirely brand new songs, entitled “She is a Fire” and “Demon Prince Regent”, and debuted at #9 on the US Current Hard Music Albums chart.

DEVILDRIVER:

Respected standard bearers for 21st century metal, iconic groove metal leaders DEVILDRIVER have spent the last two decades pursuing a course of uncompromising artistry and nonsense-free dedication to the road. Led by the prolific Dez Fafara, the Californian crew have earned their reputation as one of the hardest working bands on the planet, while issuing a steady succession of brutal but distinctive albums along the way. As the world was upended in 2020, DEVILDRIVER didn’t pause, releasing the acclaimed first installment of their two-part 'Dealing With Demons' saga, 'Dealing With Demons I'. On May 12, 2023, the band followed-up with the highly-anticipated 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II', which deftly debuted at #7 on the Current Hard Music Album chart.

In reference to their performance on the album, Metal Hammer UK claimed DEVILDRIVER reached "the peak of their powers", while Knotfest stated that the album "asserts their unwavering commitment to quality songwriting and creative catharsis". If there is any question as to whether DEVILDRIVER is slowing down any time soon, 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' proves that 20 years into their career, even with their demons in tow – they move forward at the forefront of metal.

Eric Church to Serve as 2023 Artist-In-Residence at The Country Music Hall Of Fame® and Museum

Tickets to August 29 & 30 Shows Benefiting the Nonprofit Museum’s Educational MissionAvailable This Friday, June 23 via CountryMusicHallofFame.org

Church Kicks Off
The Outsiders Revival Tour This Thursday, June 22

In recognition of his standing as one of country music’s most innovative talents, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has invited 10-time Grammy nominee Eric Church to be its 18th artist-in-residence.

The museum’s annual artist-in-residence series spotlights an artist with an exemplary body of work and asks the featured artist to create one-of-a-kind performances over multiple evenings. The museum offers its intimate CMA Theater as a blank canvas, with the understanding that the artist will curate shows that inspire appreciation for their talents and vision – often incorporating different themes and special guests.

Church will produce and perform two shows, on Tuesday, Aug. 29, and Wednesday, Aug. 30, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets to each performance range from $75 to $500 (plus ticketing fees) with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit museum’s educational mission. Museum members and Eric Church’s “Church Choir” fan club will have access to a special presale this Thursday, June 22, at 10 a.m. Tickets to both shows will be available to the public this Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m., on
the museum’s website. Sales are limited to four tickets per transaction on a first-come, first-served basis and are non-refundable.

Church joins a prestigious group of past participants that includes 10 members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Cowboy Jack Clement opened the series in 2003, and other past honorees include (in chronological order) Earl Scruggs, Tom T. Hall, Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Douglas, Vince Gill, Buddy Miller, Connie Smith, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, Alan Jackson, Rosanne Cash, Jason Isbell, Miranda Lambert, Marty Stuart and John Prine.

“Throughout his career, Eric has constantly stretched boundaries with his music and challenged long-standing conventions in his recordings and his live performances,” said Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. “Our artist-in-residence series offers him the freedom to showcase his ever-evolving creative vision. We’re grateful to him for volunteering his time and fierce individualism to the series, which benefits the museum and its nonprofit mission.”

“As a student of the rich history of country music’s most prolific artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a shrine of reverence for this songwriter’s heart,” shared Church. “I’m honored and humbled to be included in such esteemed company.”

Cultivating a sound and approach uniquely his own, Church has held tight to his artistic identity throughout his more than two decades in Nashville, earning a devoted audience and amassing an impressive list of accolades, including 10 Billboard #1 country radio hits and multiple gold, platinum and multi-platinum-certified albums. With songwriting always at the center of his career, Church has written or co-written almost all of the songs he has recorded and released. He continues to fill sold-out venues with his raucous live show, and he challenges his own musical approach with every new level of success he achieves.

In addition to serving as 2023 artist-in-residence, Church will also be the subject of a new exhibition at the museum exploring the life and career of the CMA Entertainer of the Year winner.
Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul, presented by Gibson, opens July 13 and will chronicle Church’s unique path to stardom, from his early years playing late-night gigs in bars and writing songs in Nashville to his prominence as one of country music’s most authentic voices and revered rule-breakers. The exhibit is included with museum admission and will run until June 2024.

The artist-in-residence announcement comes ahead of the kickoff of Church’s
The Outsiders Revival Tour this Thursday, June 22. The first fully outdoor tour of his career will feature a rotating lineup of emerging artists across varying dates, Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Red Clay Strays.

About Eric Church
Eric Church’s most recent critically acclaimed and chart-topping project, his Heart & Soul triple album, is available everywhere now. Featuring the results of a marathon session during which he spent nearly a month writing and recording a song per day while sequestered in rural North Carolina, the trio features his latest Gold-certified No. 1 “Hell of a View” and recent Top 5 hit “Heart On Fire” as well as his latest single, “Doing Life With Me,” climbing the charts at Country radio now.

Just as unique as Church’s approach to recording and releasing music is his tenacity on the road, with his upcoming The Outsiders Revival Tour bringing a rotating lineup of emerging artists along for the first fully outdoor tour of his career. His prior outing, the 55-city The Gather Again Tour, offered fans an in-the-round show and earned the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Tour. Church also performed one-of-a-kind headlining stadium shows at Milwaukee’s American Family Field and Minneapolis’s U.S. Bank Stadium in 2022 and performed the National Anthem with R&B star Jazmine Sullivan ahead of Super Bowl LV in 2021. During 2019’s Double Down Tour, he played back-to-back nights of two unique shows in each market sans opening act, giving every city’s fans six-plus hours of his iconic music. The tour also featured a massive stop at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, where he broke the venue’s concert attendance record with more than 56,000 fans in attendance and became the first artist to sell out the venue with a solo lineup.

A seven-time ACM Award winner, four-time CMA Award winner (including the 2020 award for Entertainer of the Year) and 10-time GRAMMY nominee, Church has amassed a passionate fan base around the globe known as the Church Choir as well as a critically acclaimed catalog of music. His previous project, the Gold-certified Desperate Man, earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album (his third nod in the category). Prior releases include the Platinum-certified Sinners Like Me (“How ’Bout You,” “Guys Like Me”), Carolina (“Smoke a Little Smoke,” “Love Your Love the Most”) and Mr. Misunderstood (“Record Year,” “Round Here Buzz”), the Double-Platinum certified The Outsiders (“Like a Wrecking Ball,” “Talladega”) and the 3x Platinum-certified Chief (“Springsteen,” “Drink In My Hand”), as well as 30 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certified songs.

CLOAK touring with Ghost Bath and Uada

CLOAK are burning hot and fast. The rising black metal band released their third album at the end of May, and it's already catching fire. Metal Sucks said 'Black Flame Eternal' stays melodic and catchy while hitting harder than the band's previous albums. New Noise gave the album four stars for bridging the gap between the spirituality of black metal and the abrasiveness of thrash, death metal and hard rock.

Other bands are taking notice, too. Uada are taking Cloak on a 30-plus date tour to support their upcoming album 'Crespuscule Natura', along with Ghost Bath.

The slashing, spine-tingling spectacle is all set to kick off on August 30, when these three horsemen of the apocalypse ride into Denver, CO for a show at the Roxy Theatre. They'll head for the doom and gloom of the Pacific Northwest, then cross into Canada, followed by stops along the Midwest and East Coast, including Cloak's hometown of Atlanta. The tour will wind down in the desert, with eight flaming shows across Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California.

'Black Flame Eternal' is available on vinyl, CD and as a digital download through the Season of Mist store.

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.” - Rudyard Kipling

In an era that is designed to beat down and weaken the individual, Black Flame Eternal is an album that represents strength, empowerment, and total opposition. With mounting pressure to engage in modern societal tribalism, Cloak invokes a spiritual rebellion that exists beyond good and evil with album number three.

“All of our albums are created with a spiritual focus, dealing with how we see life, death, and everything in between. I think the earlier records dealt more with the mysteries that surrounded delving deeper into the world of dark spirituality, whereas the new material has taken what we’ve learned and used it to move forward with force,” says Cloak frontman Scott Taysom of the record’s underlying philosophy. “Black Flame Eternal is a statement of spiritual empowerment in every sense. For the first time we want people to grasp on to this sentiment, instead of keeping it completely personal within our world of Cloak. The themes and the sheer power can be felt much more within the songs that this album contains."

“Our goal is complete spiritual liberation, which is where true power and freedom exists,” he adds. “We’ve reached a point in history where people are forced to pick a side or to join a team, so to speak. Cloak stands in complete opposition to this. We aim to be a giant middle finger in the face of the empty modern world.”

While Cloak might rage against societal conventions, the Atlanta quartet embraces the rebellious and time-tested traditions of heavy metal. Whether it be the conjuring the chaotic spirit of Swedish black metal purveyors Watain and Dissection, summoning the deep, dark and sensual groove of Danzig, or evoking the raw speed and raucous energy of Motörhead, the influence of metal’s founding fathers is deep within Cloak’s DNA. Cloak’s charm, however, does not merely lie within its romanticism of the past, but rather is the way each of these genres has shaped Cloak’s own personal identity. And with Black Flame Eternal, the record sees Cloak continue to strengthen its own unique established sound.

Cloak recognizes the importance of a band’s third record, with Taysom explaining, “These influences will always be important to us, as they are some of the best and most important bands of our time. On the other hand, what is so special about getting to the third record of our career is that inspiration starts to move inwards. We had enough experience and material at this point to really know what we do best and how we can utilize these skills in the best way possible. If you look at some of the most iconic bands, their third albums were massive steps towards greatness. So to us, we feel our third record will be a very important one in our time as a band.”

The Atlantan’s evolution is evident in the fury displayed on Black Flame Eternal, which flawlessly compliments the grandiose melodic atmosphere. “This was a conscious effort. Early on before the album even started, I knew it was going to be a much more aggressive and powerful album. I wanted to take a step away from certain sounds and add a bit of brutality back in. The overall vibe matches who we are much more, so it was only fitting to move towards this sound. It almost feels like we are going back to our roots as people in certain ways,” explains Taysom.

Black Flame Eternal follows up sophomore effort The Burning Dawn, which was released in November 2019, with hell unleashing its fury on the globe just a few short months later. As plans to tour the new album around the world came to a screeching halt, the band did not stagger or falter, and instead used this gift of time to write. When reflecting upon the lost years and its impact, Taysom seemingly embraces the situation with little regrets, “Considering Cloak is a sacred space for us, these exterior things did not have as much of an impact as one might think. But it was impossible to ignore some of what was going on throughout these tumultuous years. It’s bound to affect people’s personal lives and the way the mind works during these interesting times. One thing that it did greatly affect was the fact that we could not promote The Burning Dawn properly after the one U.S. tour we did with 1349. We feel this hurt the record, but there was nothing we could do. We were one of the earliest out of the gate after venues started to open back up, and we’ve been continuing to tour in promotion of that album all the way up until now.”

Cloak utilized every minute of this time to focus on fully realizing its vision for Black Flame Eternal. “The initial stage of the writing process started in January of 2020, and lasted all the way until May 2021. It was the longest spanning album process for us so far, with many long days, nights, and weeks trying to piece the songs together the best we could.” While the record did not come together swiftly or easily, the care and attention put into its creation is evident in its powerful composition.

Making up for lost time, these road warriors have already embarked on several high profile North American tours since the autumn of 2021, commanding audiences in every major city with their chaos magick. Each performance merges the spirit of black metal with the backbone of rock ‘n’ roll as the band consistently delivers a blistering set from start to finish. Taysom describes Cloak’s live approach as “a mixture of ethereal atmosphere and total abrasive chaos. The mixture of these two opposing energies is where Cloak lies; the meeting of high and low. To us, this is where the most interesting moments happen, both emotionally and physically.”

With no borders or boundaries, Cloak is ready to embark on this new chapter as the leader of its own pack. The band bows to no one, forging its own path as one of the governing metal forces of this decade as ‘Black Flame Eternal’ promises to scorch the earth and leave its hallowed mark.

The album also saw three songs reach #1 on rock radio in Canada and four #1 songs on rock radio in Germany. They have also been nominated for 32 MMVA Awards — taking home the prize 10 times. In 2018, the group was honored with the Legends of Live Special Achievement Award, presented by Canadian Music Week. Most recently, Billy Talent have launched the Billy Talent Charitable Trust to give more back to the organizations that the band supports. The band labeled the effort "what the last few years have felt like while making this record. It was made while the world was facing some of the toughest obstacles we've ever had to endure. It's filled with snap shots of what it means to be human and the struggles we all face both individually and collectively as people. This record was written from the heart."

We re-recorded Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions with the amazing sound of NOW, but with its raw and timeless spirit. The artwork reflects the times we’re living in right now…. Catie Offerman, Tanner Usrey & Jake Worthington
+ Wyoming-Native Chancey Williams Join on Select Dates

With a sawing fiddle in tow and a falsetto fusing rugged tradition with a savvy, new-school edge, Wyoming-native Ian Munsick announces his 2023 fall headlining tour: The Buffalo Roams. With stops in Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; Huntington, NY and more, the newly announced dates deliver the man The Tennessean crowned “Western music royalty” to the East Coast and beyond.

"This tour is filled with cities and even regions we’ve never played before. The northeast is a scary place for a Wyoming boy, but what better excuse to brave new territory than country music," shares Munsick. "At the end of the day, my music is escapism. My goal is to always invite the audience to a place they can smell the Indian Paintbrush and cow shit. I’m sure even New Yorkers crave a taste of the Rocky Mountains."

Texas-based artists Giovannie & The Hired Guns, Randall King, Triston Marez, Catie Offerman, Tanner Usrey and Jake Worthington and fellow Wyoming-native Chancey Williams join Munsick as special guests at select dates. Expressing his excitement to hit the road with some new and old friends, Munsick adds, “I’m genuinely a fan of all the artists that are joining us on The Buffalo Roams Tour. I’ve known some for years, and haven’t even met others. But I know just by listening to their music that these shows are gonna get COUNTRY. Prepare yourselves for fiddle.”

The tour name is inspired by Munsick’s recently released sophomore album White Buffalo, which yielded RIAA Gold-certified track “Long Live Cowgirls” featuring Cody Johnson that has reeled in over 100 million global streams to date.

The 2023 CMT Next Up and Opry NextStage artist most recently performed on the Platform Stage at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest and sold-out his Ryman Auditorium headlining debut. This summer, Munsick will hit stadiums again with Morgan Wallen at Ohio Stadium on Aug. 11 and PNC Park Aug. 30 on his One Night At A Time World Tour.

Tickets to the fall run go on-sale this Friday, June 23. For tickets and more information, visit

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick is painting a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, out now. The 18-track album spans unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun. It builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Over the past three years, the 30-year-old has accumulated nearly half a billion global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and more. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson. Beyond his noteworthy professional accomplishments, he has also become both a husband and a father. Now the Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” off his debut album Coyote Cry. Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest.

Movements Share "Tightrope" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM RUCKUS! ON AUGUST 18 VIA FEARLESS RECORDS

Southern California band MOVEMENTS — Patrick Miranda, vocals; Ira George, guitar; Spencer York, drums; and Austin Cressey, bass — recently announced their new album, RUCKUS!, out August 18 via Fearless Records. Pre-order the album, produced by Will Yip,
here.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Tightrope." Watch it
below

"Tightrope" shows off the dynamic and melancholic side of So Cal post-hardcore band Movements. The quiet, restrained opening verses, framed by Patrick Miranda's plaintive and emotive vocals, give way to the push and pull riffing that the band has built its sound on over the course of several albums. It shows off a different side of the band's musical personality with downright pretty parts sandwiched amongst all the storm and stress. It's a refreshing change of pace that still sounds like the band fans have come to know and love but with a twist!

"'Tightrope,' in some ways, can be seen as the furthest departure we've taken from our sound thus far," says Miranda. "It lives in a sort of 'sonic in-between' of alternative rock, emo, and ballad pop yet there's still a familiarity that rings true to Movements' bread and butter. We pulled inspiration from all over the place on this one —Justin Bieber-esque pop melodies, Snow Patrol ballad-y instrumentals, and even some drum 'n' bass style breakbeats. It's a weird mashup of shit that ended up turning into something really beautiful. At the end of the day, we're a band whose most popular song is a soft singalong. We're hoping 'Tightrope' might finally be the song to take its place at the top."

It's been a whirlwind few years for Movements as evidenced by the fact that band's 2020 album No Good Left to Give debuted at #3 on the Alternative chart and their streams have doubled since then with 200 million total streams in the U.S. alone. However, despite their success, the Southern Californian act have constantly reinvented themselves since forming in 2015 and the band's third full-length RUCKUS! sees the post-hardcore quartet taking their sound to expansive and sometimes unexpected places. Produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip (Circa Survive, Code Orange), the album fuses post-hardcore and punk influences with a healthy dose of pop songcraft to create an album that defies scene conventions in favor of something wholly unique. In order to accomplish this, the band made three extended trips to Yip's Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, to write and record the collection of songs that would end up as RUCKUS! "I truly don't believe that it could have been a more streamlined process and I don't think we've ever written music that's as good as what we put together for this record," Miranda explains. RUCKUS! sees the band integrating decidedly different influences such as Gorillaz and Strokes into their sound to challenge people's preconceptions.

Movements will hit the road in September and October on a headline run. All dates are below.

MUSIC PRODUCER & SONGWRITER, ROWA RELEASES “I’M WILD”

SET TO PERFORM AT TWO LA PRIDE EVENTS

June 23rd: Junior High Los Angeles

June 24th: Paradise Garage

Singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist ROWA, has released her ethereal new single “I’m Wild,” today. "I'm Wild" expresses a surreal interpretation of ROWA's experience as an artist, a pursuit that often feels like a never ending echo chamber in which it's hard to relate with the outside world. ROWA uses a unique play on words to represent the underlying meaning behind this strong and forward focused track. She explores her reality as a genre defying artist in the world of the mundane, and asks the listener to lift the veil and join her on her "wild side." "I'm Wild" is ROWA's attempt at a siren song asking listeners to join her in this new and exciting realm of music she is creating in an ever changing industry. ROWA shows she is the modern day interpretation of the "Wild Woman, " aka someone who would have been burned at the stake in a different generation.

ROWA produced "I'm Wild" using Ableton Software and played both the guitar and synthesizer on the track. With a hauntingly deep bass line that gives the listener the feeling that there is more to come, the song is dripping in ear candy with lush guitar samples and a stackato pluck echoing perfectly over an 808 bass. Atop the bass and harmonic elements, are sophisticated beat compositions using unique percussive sounds creating a trap-like beat with unlikely yet sophisticated sounds.

STREAM “I’M WILD” HERE

ROWA will be performing "I'm Wild" live at two pride focused events this week in Los Angeles. She will be accompanied by her very own dance troupe the "Naughty GXRLs," which consists of a group of professional dancers from Los Angeles that formed through friendship and a shared love for the performing arts. Friday June 23rd at Junior High Los Angeles, a space which prioritizes female, queer, non-binary and artists of color. June 24th at "Paradise Garage" a boutique queer art event held at new event space "Speed Los Angeles" alongside queer performers such as Violet Chachki and Satur9 Rising.  ROWA has been heavily active throughout PRIDE MONTH having performed a small tour of shows in New Orleans, Louisiana during Pride weekend. ROWA identifies as pansexual and is extremely active in the queer scene of artists in Los Angeles having performed with exciting peers such as Star Amerasu, Sevyn 0000, Violet Chachki and Izzy Speers. ROWA wishes to inspire other female music producers and queer people like herself to continue to pursue technical skills in music in a long male dominated industry.

more about the Naughty GXRLS dance troupe: The Naughty GXRLs dance troupe is a collective of dancers start by ROWA when she shot her first music video for her debut single "Naughty GXRL." On the eve of her 2023 debut she worked with her good friend and creative collaborator, Lee Gumbs, to create a live performance group for ROWA's live performances and residencies at locations such as General Lee's Cocktail House and Soho Warehouse in DTLA. The group consists of many talent dancers such as Molly Sienna, Eliana Grimes, Lee Gumbs and Angel Innis. Members of the group can be seen in many exciting productions, including Angel Innis who recently went on tour with Kali Uchis.

MORE INFO:

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, ROWA picked up her life and immediately left after graduating high school. Always marching to the beat of her own drum, she then traveled nomadically for years playing mandolin and guitar in several bands across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. However, ROWA’s voracious appetite to create wasn’t fulfilled, and she eventually settled in New Orleans and later Los Angeles to pursue her music career. While the world stayed dormant during a time of isolation, ROWA sat in her studio in Los Angeles learning to produce music. What has since ensued is a unique blend of sonic and visual work; her genre-defying sound has gained her cult recognition amongst the Los Angeles underground, with multiple event residencies under her belt at reputable venues. ROWA’s interactive performances, eclectic DJ sets and knack for curation are known to pull a crowd on a mere Tuesday night. The audience steps into the ROWAVERSE for an immersive escape from the drags of city living, ROWA unfurls her sonic performances in pop star format accompanied by her magical web of highly skilled dancer friends. ROWA is dedicated to pursuing an independent career in music as a female producer and hopes her efforts will inspire other young women to pursue their own technical skills in music. ROWA has cultivated an environment for Los Angeles creatives and young professionals to link up and network with their local community, and can be expected to host more events in 2023.

Meals 4 Health and Healing is a heart-centered, caring community preparing organic, immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory meals free of charge for cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment and their caregivers. Since 2013, the nonprofit has served over 200,000 servings to hundreds of clients and their caregivers in Williamson and Davidson Counties.

“Meals 4 Health and Healing was founded by Kathie Heimerdinger whose husband, Mike – former Tennessee Titans Offensive Coordinator – passed away from cancer,” shares foundation Executive Director Katharine Ray. “Through their experiences, Kathie and her family became acutely aware of the burden a cancer diagnosis places on the whole family. We know food is medicine and a source of comfort but between appointments and treatments, nutritious food preparation is often sidelined. Meals 4 Health and Healing helps fill that gap and allows for caregivers to focus on their loved one.”

Research shows that nearly 80% of cancer patients end up malnourished as a result of cancer treatment. Consuming nourishing meals can make a vital difference to cancer patients as they fight their illness and heal from treatment. With an emphasis on serving those who are in crisis, who have little or no caregiving support, or who are financially unable to provide themselves with nutritious foods, the program elevates the recovery process for many who may be at high risk for malnutrition, which can slow down or stop treatment.

In addition, with over 250 active teen and adult volunteers participating in their program each year, the organization educates those volunteers about eating a “whole food” diet to reduce inflammation and to reduce the likelihood of chronic, inflammatory conditions like cancer. By educating patients, their families, and the adult and teen volunteers who provide the giving hands and hearts behind the organization’s mission, the eight-person team at The Heimerdinger Foundation is transforming the health and nutritional choices of countless people in middle Tennessee.

About Morgan Evans:
We all know life changes. Sometimes, it even gets flipped upside down, and for Warner Music Nashville’s Morgan Evans, his Life Upside Down EP captures just such a perspective shift.

An Australian-born country star with a truly international reach, the guitar slinging singer-songwriter has spent most of the last decade in the U.S., with a steady upward build to show for it. Releasing his Top 10 U.S. debut Things That We Drink To in 2018, he’s gone on to score a Platinum-certified No. 1 with the country-pop charmer “Kiss Somebody,” a Gold-certified fan favorite with the buzzy “Day Drunk” and rack up 800 million streams (and counting) –all while proving himself a captivating performer, equally adept at thrilling crowds by the tens of thousands all by himself, or with a band. In fact, his up-and-to-the-right trajectory took the People, Billboard, and Rolling Stone-lauded artist on his biggest challenge yet in 2022.

Following the release of his first full-band studio collection, The Country and the Coast (Side A), Evans spent the summer touring 10 countries across the globe –and even headlining the biggest country music festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Australia’s CMC Rocks, where he mesmerized a crowd of 22,000 adoring Aussies.

About The Heimerdinger Foundation:
The Heimerdinger Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2013, provides nutritious, organic meals and education, free of charge, for families facing cancer. Research shows that nearly 80% of people facing cancer end up malnourished as a result of treatment. Being poorly nourished worsens side effects, reduces the effectiveness of or can stop treatment, and lengthens recovery time once treatment ends. Since its inception, the organization has served over 200,000 servings to clients and their caregivers in Davidson and Williamson counties and educated hundreds of volunteer adults and teens about proper, healing nutrition for life through its Meals 4 Health and Healing organic garden, kitchen, and meal delivery program.

Conquer Divide Share "the INVISIBLE" — LISTEN

NEW ALBUM SLOW BURN OUT SEPTEMBER 8 VIA MASCOT RECORDS

CONQUER DIVIDE — the international five-piece band hailing from the U.S., U.K., and Canada who have generated accolades from Octane, Revolver, Alternative Press, Modern Drummer, Loudwire, and more — recently announced their new album. Slow Burn will arrive September 8 via Mascot Records. Pre-order it
here.

The band — vocalist Kiarely Taylor, bassist/vocalist Janel Duarte, guitarist Isabel Johnson, drummer Samantha Landa, and guitarist Kristen Sturgis— has today shared the new single "the INVISIBLE.
" Listen below.

"'the INVISIBLE' has many lived-in, emotional layers that paint a picture that takes you right back to your youth, especially if you are part of an alt scene and made to feel like an outcast," the band explains, offering insight into the song. "It confronts the dynamic between your true self and your desire to be accepted by the 'cool kids.' One day, you realize that you don't need to seek validation from those in a sad state of affairs. They project their insecurities onto others because they lack emotional maturity and self-esteem."

Landing on the Billboard charts, the band's 2015 self-titled debut racked up more than 30 million streams, driven by powerful tracks like the Kerrang! Awards Best Song nominee "At War." After a hiatus, CONQUER DIVIDE reemerged on the scene with the heavy and anthemic "Chemicals" in 2020, which Alternative Press called a "contender for best hard rock/metalcore crossover of the year."

The following year, "Messy" became the No. 1 Most Added on Billboard's Hard Rock Indicator Chart. Described by Rock Sound as a "monster" track "designed for arenas," "Paralyzed" offered the first taste of CONQUER DIVIDE's long-awaited sophomore album. Inspired by guitarist Kristen Sturgis' "harrowing experiences as a nurse amid the pandemic" (Revolver Magazine), the emotional and vulnerable "Paralyzed" was nominated by Metal Hammer for Best Metal Song of 2022. "FCKBOI," a collaboration with Electric Callboy, has been streamed over 13 million times on Spotify alone. They've had multiple singles on SXM Octane and were featured in the Next Wave Concert Series.

Slow Burn ushers in a new era for CONQUER DIVIDE, one defined by breathtaking sonic refinement, intensely personal lyrical storytelling, and a seamless balance between hard-hitting modern metal and irresistible melody. Slow Burn is stacked with confessional expressions of vulnerability, frustration, and, ultimately, hope. Each song on Slow Burn summons forth brand new levels of catharsis.

Return to Dust Announce "The Black Road" EP & Release New Video For "Belly Up"

The Los Angeles-based grunge trio, Return to Dust, have today announced their debut EP, "The Black Road" set for release on July 28th, 2023. Fans can pre-save the upcoming release HERE.

The EP announcement is accompanied by the release of their latest single "Belly Up". Fans can stream "Belly Up" HERE. Fans can also watch the brand new video, directed by Matt Akana, below.

Speaking on today's single release, co-vocalist Matty Joseph shares:

"Belly Up is a synopsis of our music taste, it’s got a 70’s chorus, 90’s rock riff, and a modern, Gorrilaz-like vocal flow that holds your hand throughout the song. If I remember correctly, I got stupidly high and, after listening to “Meatplow” by Stone Temple Pilots, cranked out the main riff on an unplugged guitar, rushing to my phone to record the idea. After writing the rest, we sent a subpar demo tape (that was at least 10BPM slower) to our producer Jim Kaufman. He heard the magic, and helped create the version you hear today.

The song is about failure, over and over again, and believing that you’re not worth the life you live. Trust us, those little failures are what shape you into the person you are today, embrace them with open arms. My dad always used to say, when you feel overwhelmed, lay belly up and let things pass."

Regarding their debut EP announcement, Matty continues:

"This is our first body of work, and I think it well illustrates the vibe of the band: angsty rock, with dark, cinematic themes and imagery. From thundering guitar and bass in “Black Road”, to the anthemic acoustic ballad “Anyway I Die”, we want to establish ourselves as a band with range who will, for decades forth, deliver new facets to the name and idea of Return to Dust.

We might be on The Black Road EP, but who knows where that road will take us. As with every moment in time, this is merely a diary entry."

Return to Dust, who are heavily inspired by the legendary Alice In Chains, have already cultivated a reputation in the local Los Angeles music scene without having released any music on streaming platforms. The release of "Black Road" marks the band's first ever studio release, produced by none other than Jim Kaufman (Anti-Flag, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet). With their remarkable cinematic approach, the rock trio are on track for an unforgettable year of touring and new music. Be sure to stay tuned for more Return to Dust news coming soon.

WHAT THE PRESS ARE SAYING:

""“Black Road” is a killer track. Everything hits hard. The vocals are fierce yet remain melodic. The guitars ring with fire while the monstrous bass line is brazenly defiant. In addition, it was produced by the illustrious Jim Kaufman (Anti-Flag/Helmet). “Black Road” is the perfect vehicle for Return to Dust to showcase their remarkable cinematic approach. This is a band with a stupendous future."

My Amp Music

"Meet Return to Dust, a heavy rock band with songs reminiscent of the grunge era with a modern twist."

Music Scene Media

"Black Road" has also been featured on independent playlists such as Prelude Press' "Music That Doesn't Suck", CHARM Music Magazine's "New Music Friday", NAS 101's "New Artist Spotlight", Get Rocked's "Best New Music", and more.

Southern California fans also have the chance to see Return to Dust LIVE twice this month ahead of the upcoming EP release.

Don't miss your chance to see the band perform "Black Road" and "Belly Up" live, alongside other unreleased music!

ABOUT RETURN TO DUST

‘How will you fare against the stress of life’

Return to Dust has always felt like a hidden gem, a band that could have fallen straight from the 90’s, but stands proudly among the musical landscape of today. This is perhaps a gesture towards the timelessness of grunge’s existential yet relatable message, which spoke to and landed them 30+ recordings with decorated producer and mixer Jim Kaufman.

Despite this trajectory, the band had fallen into one of the myriad of “new band” curses, which is meticulously and quietly planning out their debut release. Thankfully, the band committed to their craft long before showing their faces, as singers Graham Stanush (bass) and Matty Joseph (guitar) formed an eternal bond growing up in the cement capital of Texas. The singers carried this passion to the west coast, where they met their then 16 year old guitarist Sebastian Gonzalez.

Now assimilated, Return to Dust has already made its mark, touring up and down the west coast, playing Vegas, Phoenix, every slummy bar in San Gabriel Valley, and personally gaining a stamp of approval from Matt Pinfield on KLOS —- the band is a ticking time bomb to hundreds of eager fans.

Their new single “Black Road'' is a four on the floor heavy rock anthem about self-sacrifice, and forging your own path, released on all platforms April 27th. You can watch the "Black Road" here.

Since the beginning of the year, Elle King released her critically acclaimed album Come Get Your Wife, wrapped her sold-out headline “A-Freakin-Men” Tour presented by Slow & Low, surprised a beloved teacher and fan at her high school in Oklahoma, performed a standout set at Stagecoach, co-hosted the four-day CMA Music Fest in Nashville, and officiated a wedding.

Yesterday, she and Diplo announced the June 23 release of “Without You,” a new song they collaborated on. And with the official start of summer less than a week away, King is packing her bags for a road trip that will take her coast to coast and beyond with shows in Canada and more than half of the states in the U.S. including Hawaii, North Dakota, Maine, Florida, and her native Ohio.

“Playing music and having fun with everyone is what summers all about,” said King who hits the stage tonight with Dierks Bentley in Raleigh, NC at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek.

Her summer of fun tour includes shows with friend and duet partner Dierks Bentley, Jelly Roll, Melissa Etheridge, Eric Church and two shows at Radio City Music Hall with Tyler Childers. King recently released her version of Childers’ fan favorite “Jersey Giant” to radio. Having never recorded the song, when his label asked him who he would like to record it, he said one artist, “Elle King.”

When the summer sizzle fades in North America, King heads to Australia and New Zealand in October where she will join The Chicks as direct support for their 2023 World Tour. “I’m so looking forward to touring with The Chicks again,” said King.  I’m excited to return to Australia and see New Zealand for the first time.”

CMA Fest, the Music Event of Summer hosted by Bentley, King and Wilson is a three-hour primetime concert special that will air July 19 on ABC. The special will include performances by some of the biggest names in music! CMA Music Fest is celebrating it’s Milestone 50th Anniversary.
