About COLD Discography:

At the turn of the century, COLD unveiled the seminal 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage, which went Gold and yielded hits such as “Just Got Wicked”, “No One”, and “End of the World”. Their 2003 follow-up, Year of the Spider, marked their highest chart position, bowing at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, receiving a Gold certification, and spawning the smash “Stupid Girl” accompanied by Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. 2005’s A Different Kind of Pain illuminated melodic strides to the tune of 37,000-plus copies sold first-week and a Top 30 debut. Meanwhile, 2011’s Superfiction continued this streak, crashing the Top 10 of the Top Rock Albums Chart upon arrival and extending a growing legacy.

The past few years have been transcendent for COLD – peaking with the successful 2019 release of The Things We Can’t Stop, subsequent singles “Shine”, “Without You”, “The Devil We Know”, “Run” and “Quiet Now", and a North American comeback tour boasting several sold-out shows. Billboard said it best: “Cold is heating up for a new era..."

Unyielding darkness and brutality emerge from the deep south of the United States. Atlanta, GA based quartet CLOAK blend the sounds of black metal, rock ‘n’ roll, and homegrown Southern sludge to create their own unique and menacing sound.

Their debut full-length, 'To Venomous Depths,' (2017) was met with critical acclaim upon its release. Decibel Magazine placed it at #20 among their “Top 40 Albums of 2017,” solidifying the band’s place among the heavy metal elite. Now, CLOAK is back with 'The Burning Dawn,' a riff-heavy and groove-laden follow-up that proves the band are still rife with fresh ideas.

Conceptually, the record comes from a place below the surface where the sleepless and sinister dwell, and is absorbed by the darkest of dreams and the most primal desires. Musically, this exploration takes the gothic nuances of its predecessor while abandoning any hesitation in exchange for a more aggressive and vehement spirit.

While rippers like “On Poisoned Ground” and “Into the Storm” deliver a fury of soulful aggression, songs like “Lifeless Silence” and “The Fire, The Faith, The Void” offer a darker, gothic essence, ultimately displaying CLOAK’s multi-faceted and dynamic musical diversity. So, raise your fists and set fire to the world; this is 'The Burning Dawn.'

Initially cutting his teeth in the seminal Norwegian hardcore bands My Right Choice (later re-named Fleshfire) and European hardcore legends; Lash Out, LaPlegua segued into the electronic music world with Icon of Coil. Originally a solo project, it morphed into a full band. Not only did IOC mark LaPlegua's first major work with electronics and dance beats, but it also granted him wider exposure beyond Norway; IOC was LaPlegua's first project to be released in the United States.Itwasn't until 2003 that LaPlegua founded Combichrist -the project that would soon dominate his time. A departure from IOC's softer electronic sound, Combichrist took LaPlegua's hardcore past and electronica present and merged them into a singular, mechanical monster. Without the compromise of the band dynamic, LaPlegua, who does everything in the studio himself on Combichrist releases, was able to explore whatever avenue he desired musically. What he found was a long dark road with plenty of twists and turns. The Joy of Gunz, LaPlegua's first release as Combichrist, was quickly followed by two EP's: 2004's Kiss the Blade and Sex Drogen und Industrial. In 2005, LaPlegua was back at it again, releasing the landmark album Everybody Hates You. Defying the dreaded sophomore slump, the second Combichrist full-length featured two tracks that would become club classics "This Shit Will Fuck You Up" and "This Is My Rifle" and was also the project's U.S. debut on Metropolis Records. Further benchmarks were set with the release of the 2006 EP Get Your Body Beat, the title track of which landed Combichrist its first appearance on Billboard's Top 10 Dance Singles chart.

The years that followed brought on 6 more full-length albums —What the Fuck Is Wrong with You People? (2007), Today We Are All Demons (2009), Making Monsters (2010), No Redemption(Official DmC: Devil May Cry Soundtrack)(2013), We Love You (2014), This Is Where Death Begins (2016) -as well as a handful of additional EPs. On top of Combichrist's many releases, LaPlegua has also logged countless miles, globetrotting on tours of Europe, South America, Australia, the United States, and four full months in Europe and North America touring with Rammstein (in front of hundreds of thousands of people).Combichrist released album One Fire, in June of 2019.

Dark Station Release Re-imagined Version of Their Single "Locked On" + Official Music Video; Announce Tour Dates!!

Dark Station released the re-imagined version of their single "Locked On" to all major platforms. This version of the single will be included on their upcoming 5-song EP titled Afterlight that features re-imagined songs from their previous album Down in the Dark. In addition, the band announced the "Afterlight Tour" in support of the EP that begins on September 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada at Taverna Costera.

"The song is about having motivation and always improving yourself. I think that's evident in the first line of the chorus, "I'm locked on, ready to move now." I've made a lot of mistakes, but If you don't choose to learn from them, then I guess you're not really progressing" says the band's vocalist, Nathan Spades.

"We did something a little different for this video. Our go-to guy Robyn August wore the director's hat, but this time we added some animation by the visual fx artist Jay Hemrajani. It's very visually appealing and I think the audience will enjoy it." adds Kyle Ort, the band's guitarist.

Dark Station released their anticipated debut full length album Down in the Dark on October 25, 2019. The band premiered four videos leading up to the release, all of which can be seen below.

In the spring of 2018, five Southern California musicians came together, leaving their respective projects behind, to form a new band. A band with the ability to seamlessly transition from crushingly heavy riffs to unforgettably haunting melodies and lyrics. With inspiration drawing from the top late 90's and early 00's rock bands, there's a certain familiarity to the music that's refreshing and yet evolved into what can only be described as Dark Station. With rock on the rise, Dark Station has risen to the challenge of aiding in rock's revival.

This is the new age. This is Dark Station.

THE DEAD DAISIES SERVE UP A TOUR LIKE NO OTHER, DISHING OUT A FEAST OF ROCK MUSIC & COMEDY

mail-79.jpeg

As the world slowly comes out of lockdown, rock group THE DEAD DAISIES blast out of the gates with the LIKE NO OTHER tour which takes in 20-dates across the United States. These shows will be Like No Other featuring The Dead Daisies, comedian Don Jamieson and Rock & Roll trio The Black Moods.

The Tour will kick off in style on September 10th at the APOLLO Theater in Rockford Illinois and will play a series of theatres and synonymous rock venues across the country. Each show will deliver an essential dose of undiluted rock featuring the dueling guitars of Doug Aldrich and David Lowy, the monstrous beats of drummer Tommy Clufetos and featuring the “Voice of Rock '' himself, Glenn Hughes.

Don Jamieson is an Emmy Award Winner known as one of the hosts of VH1’s That Metal Talk Show. The Black Moods hail from Tempe, Arizona playing raw amplified Rock & Roll, described as fiery and the very definition of ‘swagger’. Their latest single “Sunshine” hit the Top 20 Billboard Active Rock charts.

“We are extremely happy to announce the Like No Other Tour rolling out this Sept/Oct .... We’ve just returned from our Get Out Of The House warm-up dates and looking forward to delivering the main course. We’ll be ready to kick ass with all of our friends, so see ya there!!”– Doug Aldrich

This time around the band will be trialing a new signing initiative where you’ll be able to enter a virtual queue being mindful of keeping everyone safe. Thirty lucky fans will get the opportunity at each show, so you will need to get in quickly to join the digital queue – more details to come!

The Daisies are releasing a new very short film for their current hit single “Like No Other”. This second version will feature live footage from the recent Get Out Of The House warmup shows and give fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

What seemed to be a crowd favourite on the warm-up shows was a track from the Holy Ground Album “My Fate”. So, watch out for the radio edit to be released to fans and radio on August 6th…

This will be THE DEAD DAISIES’ first national tour of the US since 2018 and will be supporting their most recent studio album HOLY GROUND which hit the Top 10 Charts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Canada, Sweden and Japan and spawned four Billboard top 20 singles at rock radio in the last year.

The band also launched their own radio program LIVE FROM DAISYLAND, which is featured on DASH Radio’s Monsters Of Rock channel. The Dead Daisies didn’t stop there, the global shutdown also saw the launch of their own mobile video game Daisys Revenge, which continues the story of anti-heroine Daisy, who was previously featured in the band’s “Bustle And Flow'' and “Like No Other” videos.

So, Get Ready for a night of laughs and ROCK! A night LIKE NO OTHER...

Saul Share "Looking to Fight" Video — WATCH — Plus Band Returns to the Road

DEBUT FULL LENGTH RISE AS EQUALS OUT NOW ON SPINEFARM

BAND RETURNS TO THE ROAD

Iowa-based rock quartet SAUL — brothers Blake Bedsaul [lead vocals] and Zach Bedsaul [lead guitar, backup vocals], William McIlravy [bass, backup vocals], and Myles Clayborne [drums] — have just shared the video for the new single "Looking to Fight," which spins a tale of internal struggle.

Watch it below

Blake Bedsaul pulls back the curtain on the deeper meaning behind the song, saying, "'Looking to Fight' is a moment of introspection. Ask yourself this: Am I the hero or the villain in any given situation? After a long hard look into how I was dealing with my emotions, I realized that I was the villain of my own story. But don't just apologize. Take responsibility for your actions and own up to them. Make the change to be someone to fight for — not against."

"Looking to Fight" is taken from Saul's debut full-length Rise As Equals, out now on Spinefarm. The album has already garnered 16 million streams and counting since its Fall 2020 release. The band also enjoyed its best-performing active rock radio song to date with "King of Misery."

Loudwire praised the band for crafting "punchy anthems with immediate sing-along choruses." Elsewhere, Cryptic Rock called Rise As Equals "a more than solid debut from a band whose name you need to know." Flying Fiddlesticks labeled it "a stab at the heart of mediocrity that rises above the tide of ordinary heavy music."

Saul show no signs of slowing down. The band will return to the road this summer and they are eager to forge that direct connection with their fans, known as "Equals," live, onstage, and in the flesh again. They will be appearing at various festivals and other shows before hitting the road with Atreyu, Crown the Empire, and more. All dates are below.

Additionally, Saul have teamed up with Fancircles to create a community platform for their beloved army of fans — The Equals. The band is setting a precedent in next-level fan engagement and sees Fancircles as perfect partners to deliver exclusive content, giveaways, live broadcasts, sneak previews of new songs and videos, and much more, in a safe space that is focused entirely on building The Equals community. ABOUT DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 (DFA):

Death From Above 1979 (DFA), the boundary pushing musical alliance created by Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler, roared out of Toronto with the uncompromising one-two punch of 2002’s fuzz-bomb EP Heads Up and 2004's epochal debut album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine, complete with a North American arena tour with Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age, before deciding mid-tour to part ways due to the strain of constantly touring.

Almost a decade later, the rekindled DFA fireworks lit stages around the world a blaze — amassing a posse of fans so passionate they incited a genuine, barricade-smashing riot at Austin's Beauty Bar at the 2011 South by Southwest Festival. Playing Lollapalooza, Coachella, Glastonbury, Reading / Leeds, Osheaga, Lowlands, and more, DFA continued to take the world by storm. Their second album, The Physical World (2014) took a No. 3 spot on the Canadian Billboard album chart and peaked at No. 28 on the U.S. Hot 200, not to mention No. 3 and No. 7 spots on Billboard's Top Alternative and Top Rock registries, respectively. TV appearances around their first two albums on iconic late-night shows including David Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon showed a whole new audience the DFA live goods.

Arriving at No. 20 on the Canadian Billboard album chart, DFA's scorching 2017 outing, Outrage! Is Now prompted Pitchfork to remark that "Death From Above now sounds more vital than ever." With three smashing albums to their name, the duo drummed up an easy 10 million views before going silent once more, to the dismay of fans. Now, DFA are back with the return of their new album, Is 4 Lovers — once again creating a new sound and reimagining the format they created more than 20 years ago.

Tesla has always taken pride in being a high energy live band relying on performances without any backing tracks or pre-recorded help. We are planning some surprises for our fans on this upcoming tour by playing some deeper Tesla cuts as well as a fresh brand new song we just wrote. Of course we will play the hits as well, but introducing a fresh new track on this return is something we are very excited about!”

Combichrist Announces New Fall Tour dates with King 810, Heartsick and Reign of Z

Industrial core band Combichrist announced dates for the first leg of their fall tour that includes bands King 810Heartsick and Reign of Z. The tour kicks off on September 19th in Rochester, NY at Montage Music. The band has new music coming soon from Out of Line Records.

“Time to get back on stage!I’ve been waiting way too long for this, and can’t believe we’re finally back on track! Let’s fucking do this!”says Andy LaPlegua, the band's vocalist.

The bands latest video for single "Not My Enemy" can be seen below

mail-28.png

Combichrist live is:

Andy LaPlegua (vocals)

Eric 13 (Guitar)

Elliot Berlin (keyboards/guitar)

Dane White (Drums)

MINISTRY Return With 15th Studio Album "Moral Hygiene" Out October 1, New Track & Video For "Good Trouble" Inspired By John Le

Industrial Juggernauts MINISTRY

Return With 15th Studio Album This Fall

Moral Hygiene

To Be Released October 1 Via Nuclear Blast Records

Preorders Begin Today

New Single & Video For “Good Trouble” Out Today

Inspired By Late Congressman John Lewis & BLM Protests

Ministry Kicks Off Industrial Strength Tour October 3

Debuting New Tracks Live & Celebrating 30 Years Of

The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste

After incubating for the larger part of 2020 – at time when creative mastermind Al Jourgensen was able to ruminate on the new world we as a society have found ourselves in – the time has finally come for Ministry to unleash their much-anticipated 15th studio album.

Aptly titled Moral Hygiene, the album will be released via Nuclear Blast Records on October 1. With some of Ministry’s strongest and most inspired material to date, the 10 tracks are a follow-up to 2018’s lauded AmeriKKKant and put forth Jourgensen’s societal manifesto and plea for civilization to get back to a set of standards that lives up to and embraces our humanity.

"The good thing about literally taking a year off from any social activity or touring is that you really get to sit back and get an overview of things as they are happening, as opposed to being caught up in the moment. And what I saw with how we handled several public crises - from the pandemic to racial injustice to who we vote in to lead our country - is that times are changing, and society needed to change to get away from the idea that has permeated us of take care of yourself, fuck everything else. Now more than ever we need moral hygiene,” says Jourgensen of the new album. It consumed me as I wrote this album. It’s not some pious term. It’s what we have to return to in order to function as the human species on this planet. And I'm proud to have had such great guests on this album to help cement that message like Billy Morrison, Jello Biafra and Arabian Prince.”

In conjunction with today’s album announcement, the latest track “Good Trouble” is also released. The song, inspired by the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and the activist work of the late Congressman John Lewis, is accompanied by a new video that includes sampling from last year’s demonstrations in Los Angeles as captured by Jourgensen and his partner Liz Walton.

See the video for “Good Trouble” here

Jourgensen adds about the new single, "I was watching the coverage last July around Lewis’ death and was in awe the next day when this entire letter from him was published in the New York Times. How suss was that to want to keep making progress after his death by thinking about the legacy he left? I was struck by the reflectiveness of his speech, knowing he was dying and making sure it was released because he saw trouble ahead. That is the moral hygiene of this album - we have to do something to change and I really hope we continue to act and live up to the idea of getting into good trouble for the benefit of society."

Moral Hygiene also includes the previously released “Alert Level” that sounded the alarms about our collective dissonance towards the pandemic, climate change and the man formerly in the White House, bolstered by the song’s overarching question posed to listeners: “How concerned are you?”

The new album also adds perspective to the countless lives that were tragically lost to the COVID-19 pandemic on the haunting track “Death Toll” while “Disinformation”decries the too frequent willingness to accept everything – even mistruths – as fact.

Other musical jewels on the upcoming release include a collaboration with Jello Biafra (Jourgensen’s cohort in side project LARD) on “Sabotage Is Sex” and a unique take on The Stooges’ “Search And Destroy” that features guitar virtuoso Billy Morrison (Billy Idol/Royal Machines). Morrison is also heavily featured on a number of songs on the album.

ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. Today, Ministry continues touring and recording with the brand-new 15th studio album Moral Hygiene to be released October 1.

Dayseeker to Release Deluxe Version of "Sleeptalk" + Band Shares "Burial Plot (Reimagined)" Video

DAYSEEKER TO RELEASE DIGITAL DELUXE VERSION OF SLEEPTALK ON SEPTEMBER 24 VIA SPINEFARM

BAND SHARES VIDEO FOR "BURIAL PLOT (REIMAGINED)" — below

Southern California's DAYSEEKER have announced the digital deluxe version of their fourth album Sleeptalk. Since its release, the album has accumulated over 40 million streams. The record effectively positioned Dayseeker as one of the scene's most formidable forces and a band that is primed to take its next big leap.

The expanded edition of the album will be released on September 24, 2021 — almost two years to the day since the release of the original. Pre-order it here.

The deluxe version features four reimagined versions of album tracks, which offer fans a fresh and unique take on songs they already love.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Burial Plot (Reimagined)." Watch the clip, which is performance-based and wholly immediate, below

The new version of the track is sprawling and haunting, and features a cameo by a local Los Angeles artist.

"It was so cool getting to work with Daniel Braunstein again and I think we really challenged ourselves to try some different genres and styles of reimagining that we've never done on any of our prior deluxe releases," says frontman Rory Rodriguez. "'Burial Plot (Reimagined)' is a deeply personal song I hold very near to my heart and I always thought it would be really intereseting to hear it done as a duet. Seneca Pettee was the obvious choice since she already sang on 'Starving to Be Empty' on the original album. The strings and piano we added really made it just sound like an entirely different song."

The deluxe colored double vinyl pressing will arrive on December 3.

Dayseeker will return to the road this fall, touring with We Came as Romans and The Devil Wears Prada. Those dates are below.

Upon its initial release, Sleeptalk was labeled "a warm and welcome release to higher ground" by Alternative Press. Soundfiction claimed that the record "has shown us that this band is a force of nature when it comes to what the band is capable of." Deadpress stated that the record brought "some much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene."

Dayseeker continue to work on new material.

THE LONELY ONES Release New Single "Dyin' All Night Long" via Imagen Records

Hard rock band The Lonely Ones released a new single titled "Dyin' All Night Long" to all major platforms via Imagen Records!

"The song is about an abusive relationship, which is a lot more common than most people realize. It’s easy to see from the outside looking in. When you’re in one of those relationships, you make excuses for the other person. In this song the victim has had enough" says Marty McCoy, the band's vocalist/guitarist.

The Lonely Ones will be on tour for the rest of the year in support of the new single.

Formed in the summer of 2019, The Lonely Ones are a four piece vocal-oriented hard rock band with an ear for melody and a taste for success. No strangers to the hardships of the music industry, The Lonely Ones know what they want and know how to get it. They released two singles,"Eternal Sadness" and "The Lonely One," independently in March of 2020.

Brian May was quoted as saying, “What a fantastic cover! I didn’t realize they were going to go into The Hero and the whole reprise ... magnificent!"

Sam J Jones adds, "This is one of the best covers I have ever heard and seen. What a gifted group - The Lonely Ones are for everyone of us, from the 1980’s to right now!"

The video for "Flash/ The Hero" can be seen here: https://youtu.be/Bct_S9Dp3dE

CANDLEMASS’ latest full-length, the Marcus Jidell-produced The Door To Doom, follows the plot line mastermind, songwriter and bass player Leif Edling established in the past years: epic world class doom metal that relies on slow mammoth riffing. The album features the Grammy-nominated track “Astorolus - The Great Octopus”, featuring legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi (watch the official music video HERE). CANDLEMASS swiftly followed up in March 2020 with their latest EP, The Pendulum, featuring a fine selection of never-before-heard, unused tracks cut from the The Door To Doom recording sessions. The Pendulum perfectly showcases that these timeless Swedish pioneers are the undisputed kings of epic doom, featuring singles “The Pendulum” (listen HERE) and “Porcelain Skull” (listen HERE). Leading the listener through a maze of frenzied riffing, accented by Johan Langquist's distinctive vocals, the EP reinforces the melancholy sound that has proven CANDLEMASS to be a heavy metal staple.

LYDIA CAN'T BREATHE Announce Tour with Sevendust and Tremonti

Hard rock metal quartet LYDIA CAN'T BREATHE announced that they will be heading out on tour with Sevendust and Tremonti this September.

"We are super excited! It’s surreal to play with legends in the game like Sevendust and Tremonti that we look up to. Can’t wait to show the people what we have to offer on this tour! Make sure everyone knows the party starts early!
says Kyle Bolduc.

The band recently released their single "SHEEP" to all digital outlets. The single is a fresh take on the band's trademark sound with melodic guitars and dark tendencies. It showcases their ear candy intros, face melting guitar riffs, while still clinging to their heavy transitions and breakdowns.
