Brantley Gilbert Previews Forthcoming Album with "Off The Rails"

Following his sixth studio album So Help Me God, Brantley Gilbert readies a forthcoming project and delivers a preview with the revelry inducing anthem “Off The Rails” via The Valory Music Co. “We’ve got some big plans for the Off The Rails Tour,” shares Gilbert. “Not only will we be sprinkling in some new tracks, but we’ve found a way to add even more songs into the setlist, so you’ll be hearing a good mix of longtime favorites, deep cuts and unreleased material. We’re really looking forward to giving BG Nation the first taste of what we have in store for the next album…it’s going to be a wild ride.”

Kicking off tomorrow, March 9 in Alabama, the Off The Rails Tour will also feature special guests Dylan Marlowe, Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones. For tickets and additional information, visit BrantleyGilbert.com.

Since wrapping the Get Rollin’ Tour with Nickelback featuring numerous sold-out shows across North America last year, the Georgia native has been back in the studio, teasing collaborations with Kid Rock and Gary LeVox on social media.

“I’ve really enjoyed writing for this new album, and it’s been an absolute blast to toy around with a few different sounds in the studio,” Gilbert reveals. “I think we’re focusing a bit more on instrumentation and leaning even further into some of my roots and early influences.”

In addition to being a 14x Platinum-selling artist, Gilbert earns another RIAA Gold-certified track with fan-favorite “Welcome to Hazeville” featuring Colt Ford, Lukas Nelson and Willie Nelson, bringing his tally to eight Gold-certified songs.

Gilbert recently partnered with Roush Performance for a one-of-a-kind F-350 build. Gilbert and Roush Performance have been getting loud and going fast since 2021 and sought to create a one-off dually in collaboration with other premium, American-rooted brands. Standout upgrades on Gilbert’s 2023 F-350 farm truck include various Roush Performance components, a 5-inch BDS lift with radius arms, upgraded shocks, and oversized tires wrapped around American Force 24-inch rims. Brantley Gilbert Delivers SO HELP ME GOD (DELUXE EDITION)

Multi-Platinum country star Brantley Gilbert delivers his highly anticipated album So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition), supplementing the original release with the addition of five new songs that “like his previous studio albums,” shares American Songwriter, “the songs are a musical reflection of where Gilbert is at in life” and “purposefully lets the songs take the lead, co-writing all 15 tracks.” Available now via The Valory Music Co., listen to the album HERE.

“We’ve done a deluxe release for nearly all my albums, and it’s always been a great way to revisit some ideas that we didn’t get to initially or ideas we wanted to expand on. It allows us to tie up loose ends, kind of like a punctuation mark at the end of the sentence,” shares Gilbert.

“I’ve also always been a big fan of big records that have a lot of songs on them, but that’s just not the way music is consumed nowadays,” he continues. “I’d rather give folks some time to live with a good number of songs, get familiar with them and then follow that up with a few more. It helps give the songs a life of their own that they wouldn’t have otherwise.”

Lauded by MusicRow as “a songwriter adept at crafting both driving crowd-pleasers and detailed heart-tuggers,” So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition) includes a touching celebration of life with “Tailgates of Heaven,” co-written with Josh Phillips and Derek George.

“This song is really special to me,” explains Gilbert. “Josh brought in this idea after a buddy of his had passed away, and he wanted to do a song for him. I started thinking about people in my own life who had gone too soon, and it became something that means a lot to me as well. As writers, anytime you write a song like that, we may have had one person or one thing in mind when we started it, but by the time it’s over, you really have to put your own emotional weight into it or it’s just not believable. Super proud of that one, and I can’t wait for folks to hear it.”

Elaborating on current chart-climbing single “Heaven By Then” with Blake Shelton featuring Vince Gill, “Behind The Times,” co-written with Jake Mitchell, Randy Montana and Taylor Phillips, lays out the specifics of what it is Gilbert loves about his way of life, all while feeling content to be left behind by a world that doesn’t value the things that make him who he is.

Rounding out the 15-song collection, So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition) also includes feel-good hometown anthem “Wrote The Book Around Here,” a story of being unable to escape heartbreak in “All Over The Map” and the statement-making “Bury Me Upside Down,” showcasing Gilbert’s signature twang meets hard-rockin’ guitars.

Gilbert will host his 2023 Album Release Party and Trail Ride Powered By Polaris Inc at Brimstone® Recreation in Huntsville, Tenn. on April 22, leading fans on a group trail ride followed by an intimate performance from his frequent co-writers, along with a power acoustic set from the man himself. Special guests for the writers round acoustic performance include Bobby Pinson, Josh Phillips, Will Weatherly, Jake Mitchell, Cole Taylor and George Birge.

Sponsors of the event include Polaris, Big Frig, Nine Line Apparel, Traeger Grills, Roush Performance and Brimstone® Recreation, with onsite activations from most. Tickets are available at BrantleyGilbert.com. Entry tickets do not include the Brimstone® Recreation trail pass required to participate. They can be purchased HERE.

Kicking off this summer, Gilbert will join Nickelback for the Get Rollin’ Tour, performing across Canada and the U.S. with 35+ stops including dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Nashville before wrapping August 30.

Brantley Gilbert and Jelly Roll Deliver New Collaboration "Son Of The Dirty South"

Gearing up to hit the road together, multi-Platinum selling country rocker Brantley Gilbert releases “Son Of The Dirty South” featuring Jelly Roll via The Valory Music Co., readying fans for the Son of The Dirty South Tour kicking off next Thursday, June 30 in Jacksonville, Fla. Listen to the song HERE and tune in to the official music video below.. Tickets for the tour are on sale at now at BrantleyGilbert.com.

“I had a blast working on this one with Jelly,” shares Gilbert. “We’ve been itching to write together for a while now, and we had a lot of fun putting it together. You don’t always get to record a song with your co-writers, so to hop in the studio with him too was a real treat.”

“Brantley is already one of my favorite artists, and we got to write this song together and release it to the fans ahead of our tour starting,” adds Jelly Roll. “I really can’t wait to get out on that stage with Brantley and perform it live this summer. Get ready.”

Marking their first collaboration, the pair co-wrote “Son Of The Dirty South” with Andrew Baylis, offering a look into their southern upbringing and brandishing their appreciation for all things unruly, rowdy and loud, culminating into a good time:

‘Cause I’m a son of the dirty south, got to trippin’
Mama washin’ out my dirty mouth and pickin’ switches
I’m a hell raisin’ rebel that you better never tread on
Gun-totin’, drinkin’, smokin’ hoss that you can bet on
Tatted up, I’m gassed up
I’m throwed off and I’m buck wild
Loud and rowdy I’m a son of the dirty south

I’m from a place where they mix rock, country and hip hop
Somewhere between Hank, Three 6 and Kid Rock
Johnny Cash all black, it’s that old school flavor
Sippin’ somethin’ rippin’ more lines than notebook paper
Outlaw spirit my middle finger stuck up again, bad boy
We all know good women love troubled men
Got that music cranked loud
We won’t turn shit down
Peaceful people but believe it we gon’ burn shit down

“Son Of The Dirty South” follows “Rolex® On A Redneck,” Gilberts collaboration with longtime friend Jason Aldean, having toured together and swapped songs throughout their careers. Penned while on a writer’s retreat in Texas, Gilbert has been preparing more new music to be delivered later this year.

With the release of 2021’s Ballads of the Broken, genre-bending artist/songwriter Jelly Roll saw his career soar to new heights with the RIAA Gold-certification of his hit single, “Save Me” and more than 1 Billion collective streams of his catalogue. The Nashville native recently celebrated his first No. 1 single – the multi-week chart-topping “Dead Man Walking” – and with his single “Son of a Sinner” nearing the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, Jelly becomes the first artist to top the Active Rock charts while having a Top 30 single at Country Radio with his first song chart debut on each (Billboard).

About Jelly Roll
Stoney Creek/BMG artist Jelly Roll independently built a legion of fans with his raw, rough-edge lyrics and “man of the people” charisma. With more than a billion collective streams to date, the genre-bending talent’s current single “Son of a Sinner” -originally released independently on his 2021 album Ballads Of the Broken- has garnered more than 6 million streams and debuted #38 on Billboard’s Country Music Chart ahead of its official release, earning Jelly a slot on Billboard’s all-genre Emerging Artist chart. A Nashville native, the singer/songwriter has critics noting “his music takes those raw, unreserved verses and melds elements of country, rock, and hip-hop into his own signature style” (Billboard) and “with powerful tunes like ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Sober’ it’s clear that when it comes to music, Jelly Roll’s heart is often right—singing with a profound amount of emotion and tact, the songs and their revealing lyrics soar to brilliantly uplifting heights, shining light onto some of life’s darkest circumstances” (American Songwriter). The multi-genre talent’s “Dead Man Walking” single is currently #4 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart and has over 10 million streams and counting. “Son of A Sinner” and “Dead Man Walking” are the follow up singles to Jelly’s breakout hit, “Save Me,” the GOLD-certified single with more than 65 million YouTube views that ushered a new wave of musical growth for the multi-talented artist. Hailing from the Antioch neighborhood of Nashville, Jelly Roll sold recently sold out the iconic Ryman Auditorium and averages more than 200 shows a year. He is currently on the road headlining and on select dates with Shinedown and Brantley Gilbert.

Brantley Gilbert Premieres New Music Video for "How To Talk To Girls" Today

Special Tribute to Gilbert’s Wife Amber and Daughter Braylen Premieres Today

Hard-rocking multi-Platinum country star Brantley Gilbert is set to premiere the official music video for his latest release “How To Talk To Girls,” (The Valory Music Co.) today, Thursday, Jan. 27.

Co-written with Brock Berryhill, Brian Wayne Davis, Brandon Day, Chase McGill, Josh Phillips, Taylor Phillips and Michael Ray, “How To Talk To Girls” was written with Gilbert’s wife Amber and daughter Braylen in mind.

“I’ve known Amber since we were kids. I’ve been married to her for 6 years now, and I’m still in awe of her,” Gilbert shared upon the song’s release. “Then my daughter came along, and I realized I still struggle to find the right words to say to the girls I love.”

“How To Talk To Girls” presents a vulnerable side to the Georgia-native that reminds fans he’s more than meets the eye, as Taste of Country shares, “Although he is a self-proclaimed ‘bad boy,’ there's no doubt Gilbert's been reformed. And we are confident that when these conversations come up, he'll handle them like a true pro. After all, if you're questioning how to have these talks, chances are you’re already preparing for them.”

“How To Talk To Girls” follows “Gone But Not Forgotten,” penned with Berryhill, Jason Blaine and Jay Brunswick in 2018, and released to celebrate Veterans Day and to honor servicemen and women, first responders and all those who we rely on that serve and protect, keeping us safe in our day-to-day lives. Watch the video HERE.
