John Diva & The Rockets Of Love are synonymous with wild parties, passionate live shows, but also liberal messages in their lyrics. Bullshit? Not at all. In their lyrics, the five musicians clearly reject the sexism that is so common in their genre, for example in songs like "Boys Don't Play With Dolls“: "In our music, everyone is welcome and appreciated," frontman John Diva emphasizes.

The German-Italian power metal band The Unity has started work on their 4th studio album.
"The first songs have already been composed and many more ideas are currently being worked out", drummer Michael Ehré gives an insight into the current status of the production.
The band recently introduced Tobias "Eggi" Exxel (Edguy) as a new band member and is happy to welcome another songwriter to their ranks. "With Eggi The Unity gained another creative source", the band states.
The release of the yet untitled album is planned for autumn 2023.
The band is also happy about the invitation to this year´s Metal Hammer ParadiseFestival in Germany, which takes place on November 18th and 19th at Weissenhäuser Strand on the SchleswigHolstein Baltic Sea coast.
"It´s the second time that we take part in this unique festival, and we know that both us and the fans will have an unforgettable weekend again", singer Gianbattista Manenti is sure.

Sometimes it takes a few years until a band finds that perfect sound they have in mind for their songs. For the new album ‘Untamed’ by the French Sleaze Rockers BlackRain, that’s exactly the case. Although already established as a band with their six previous releases and also very successful on tour (among others with Europe, Alice Cooper, Scorpions or Steel Panther), the quartet around singer Swan now presents a work that sets new quality standards in every aspect. “We love the powerful sound, the banging drums, this awesome mix of catchy melodies and aggression that permeates ‘Untamed’ from the very beginning,” bassist Matthieu de la Roche enthuses and goes on naming the producer of the new quality work: Hannes Braun, frontman of the German hard rockers Kissin` Dynamite and an important figure in sound engineering. De la Roche: “Hannes told us: ´I love your songs, your show really has excited me, I know exactly how your next record should sound!` Thanks to his help, we found the sound we’ve been looking for for ten years.”
The connection between the French group and their German producer was practically self-evident: BlackRain accompanied Kissin` Dynamite on their last European tour and they were friends for about a decade. “Kissin Dynamite was our support band in 2009 in a big gig in Paris. Now we are supporting them, and we are fine with this because it allowed us to cross Europe and catch a new public,” tells De La Roche. Out of this friendship sprang a fruitful collaboration. Swan, the singer and frontman: “I honestly don't know how Hannes managed it, but whenever I sent him a new song for review and mix, he found that perfect last piece of the puzzle to refine it.”
The ambition is palpable in ‘Untamed’, which will also be the first single/first video on July 29th, 2022. Three more songs will be released after the first single: ‘Summer Jesus’ will be released on August 26th, 2022, followed by ‘Neon Drift’ on September 30th (with a guest solo by Kissin` Dynamite guitarist Jim Müller), and ‘Kiss The Sky’ on October 28th, 2022. With ‘Untamed’ (the cover artwork is done by the Asian graphic artist Yellow Mushi) BlackRain has definitely created a small masterpiece!

Experts agree: Without Raven, neither thrash nor speed metal would exist in their current form. The British trio around the Gallagher brothers John (bass, vocals) and Mark(guitar) not only released some of the most important albums of the NWOBHM era, but they also had a lasting influence on an entire generation of musicians in the early 1980s. Much has changed since then, often either becoming vestigial or vanishing completely. Raven, however, have persevered, immortalizing themselves in the annals of music history with an imposing presence that continues up to this day. Not least through two studio albums that perfectly represent the recent works of the group: ‘ExtermiNation’(2015) and ‘Metal City’ (2020). To the great delight of their fans, Raven will be touring again in the foreseeable future – performing their new album ‘Leave ´Em Bleeding’,featuring the best of the past seven years plus some red-hot bonus tracks.
“In a way, this record is a retrospective on the past seven years, which were hugely important to us, even if they haven’t always been easy”, is how John Gallagher describes their songs ‘Top Of The Mountain’, ‘Metal City’, ‘The Power’, ‘Destroy All Monsters’ and ‘Battle March/Tank Treads’. The first three tracks mentioned are from ‘Metal City’, the following two from ‘ExtermiNation’. This glimpse into the past is rounded off by a live version of ‘Crash Bang Wallop’, found in its original version on the 2019 concert album ‘Screaming Murder Death From Above: Live...’, a special testimony to the boundless power of this band, which – in addition to the Gallagher brothers – is completed by drummer Mike Heller.
As a special gift to their large crowd of followers, Raven treats us to six bonus tracks one shouldn’t miss out on. It starts with ‘Necessary Evil’, one of the first three Raven songs after Mark Gallagher's serious accident in November 2001, when the guitarist was half-buried by a six-meter wall and had to undergo several surgeries to treat his severe injuries. Although the band was back on stage mere two years later, it wasn’t until 2009 that they could start working on their comeback album ‘Walk Through Fire’, with ‘Necessary Evil’ as its spectacular finale. Second bonus track is their Montrose number ‘Space Station #5’ (Mark Gallagher: “During the early years, we often ended our shows with this song”), followed by ‘Malice In Geordieland’, a superb outtake from the session for ‘ExtermiNation’. Second cover song on ‘Leave ´Em Bleeding’ is their Thin Lizzy number ‘Bad Reputation’. Gallagher comments: “We`ve always been total Lizzy fans. I`ve never seen them live, unfortunately, but their influence on us and many others is huge.”Rounding off the list of bonus tracks are ‘Rock This Town’ and ‘Stay Hard (Live)’; both come with exciting back stories. Gallagher: “’Rock This Town’ was produced by Michael Wagner in Nashville in March 2018 and features us as a trio live in the studio. The recording is just too powerful to have it sit in a drawer and collect dust. The live version of ‘Stay Hard’ is a 2017 recording from ‘The Vanguard’ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An employee of the club recorded the show and gave it to us on a flash drive. We haven't played ‘Stay Hard’ too often, so in that sense the release is a little special.”

The first lead single, "Survive", will be released in the physical and digital stores onFebruary 18th - a deeply melodic hard rock number featuring a guitar riff characteristic of Pell and the kind of superb melody that we’ve come to expect from Pell: “I’m confident that my fans will get exactly the kind of song they’ve been waiting for. ‘Survive’ is typical of the ARP band, carried by the fantastic voice of our vocalist Johnny Gioeli.”

RAGE are one of the real iconic metal bands. With an ongoing career of almost 40 years, the band has helped to shape German Heavy Metal as it is today. Now, for the first time ever, the band has collaborated with a remixer.
The idea of producing a remix from a RAGE song was born at a big metal festival in Japan some years ago when they met Federico Agreda Alvarez – better known as ZARDONIC, an internationally renowned DJ and remixer who's famous for his work with Bullet For My Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, Sonic Syndicate, just to name a few.
The result is a pumping new version of the RAGE song “The Age Of Reason” – RAGEas you have never heard it before!

The original version of "The Age Of Reason" can be found on the band's latest studio album, 'Resurrection Day', which was released on September 17th, 2021 through SPV/Steamhammer.

‘THE MONSTER ROARS’ features twelve new songs in total, with a few little surprises thrown in! On top of the regular disc, Magnum are releasing a limited box set with three extra bonus tracks, including a new version of ‘Days Of No Trust’, the opener of the 1988 album classic ‘Wings Of Heaven’, a new remastered version of ‘Sweets For My Sweet’, the very first single of their career from 1975, and a previously unreleased track from the same era. And from March 2022, the band will finally be returning to Europe for a major tour .

Today marks the arrival of a new single and lyric video from RAGE for the song"Arrogance And Ignorance". The track is featured on their new album "Resurrection Day".

Fans of the German puppet comedy superstar Sascha Grammel have known for a while now: The likable ventriloquist from Spandau and proud creator of puppets and audience favorites such as eagle pheasant Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf, turtle lady Josie or ecotrophologist Professor Dr. Peter Hacke, is always good for a surprise. Grammel swears by the music of German Metal band The Unity to motivate him during fitness workouts. Apparently, his favorite track to sweat, cycle, run and lift weights along is "Close To Crazy". But that`s not all! Grammel and his endearingly eccentric puppet flatmate now appear in The Unity’s latest video – and you can see they’re enjoying every second of it.
Referring to the unusual song title, Grammel`s alter ego Frederic quizzes his boss in the video intro: “Did you write this song?” And counters Grammel`s honest denial with, “But it would’ve been very fitting! You`re close to crazy too!”
"Close To Crazy (live)" is the forerunner to The Unity’s new live album‚ The Devil You Know – Live, which is due for release by Steamhammer/SPV on November 12th, 2021, and includes recordings of concert highlights from their tours of Germany and several European countries between 2017 and 2020. The accompanying video shows The Unityas comrades in arms with the two Gamma Ray members Henjo Richter (guitar) and Michael Ehré (drums, Primal Fear), alongside bandmates Gianbattista Manenti (vocals), Stef E (guitar), Jogi Sweers (bass) and Sascha Onnen (keyboards) at the Masters Of Rock Festival in the Czech Republic, where the band, as always, managed to thrill fans and critics alike.
The band will also be back on stage for the big release party of The Devil You Know - Live on December 25th & 26th at the Jahnhalle in Nordenham, GER. Additional shows, festival appearances, and tours throughout Europe are also scheduled for 2022. And, who knows, you may even spot Sascha Grammel with his puppet family in the audience at one gig or another. Like all the best fans, they’re close to crazy, after all.
