Dead Poet Society Share New Version of "HURT" (Feat. The Warning)

Los Angeles quartet DEAD POET SOCIETY, who were recently tipped by The New York Post's Page Six as a band to know, dropped their second albumFISSION earlier this year via Spinefarm. It's available here.

They have not taken a beat since releasing the album, embarking on a non-stop, Herculean touring schedule, screaming up the radio charts, and winning over press and fans with every performance. They appeared at several Spring festivals, as well.

Today, they have shared the reimagined version of their single "HURT," featuring rock band The Warning. Listen here.

Watch the visualizer below.

"We're so excited to release this new version of 'HURT' featuring The Warning," Dead Poet Society say. "We first saw Paulina from The Warning singing along to the song on social media, when we were on Shiprocked together. So it seemed only natural to invite her up for a repeat performance at Aftershock. It became such a moment, that we invited them to record a studio version with us and all three of The Warning sisters."

"The first time we heard the song was while working on our album Keep Me Fedwith our producer, Anton DeLost, who also produced Dead Poet Society's album," state The Warning. "When 'HURT' came out, we were in the studio and heard it there. We immediately congratulated Anton on everything because it was just incredible. From that moment, we became fans of the song.

"Later, we met DPS on Shiprocked and heard the song live for the first time, which was amazing. Then, at Aftershock, DPS invited Pau to perform it with them on stage. That performance brought everything together, and after it, we started talking like, 'Hey, maybe we should hop on the song officially.' Now, we’'e thrilled to see it finally being released. It's such a powerful song, and we're incredibly happy to be part of it."

Elsewhere, their previous single "RUNNING IN CIRCLES," which was a Top 10 track at radio, appears on MADDEN 25, one of the most beloved video game franchises of the fall season. The band also played some of the biggest shows its career, gracing the main stage at Reading & Leeds (UK) and appearing at Pukkelpop (Belgium), Lowlands (Holland), and Rock en Seine (Paris).

Clearly, 2024 has been a banner year for Dead Poet Society thus far. Stay tuned for more from the band in 2025.

Prior to the release of FISSION, Dead Poet Society accumulated over 100 million global streams, with nearly 50 million streams in the U.S. alone. The band also enjoyed two Top 15 singles at radio and key playlisting. They have also spent as much time as possible on the road — having toured with alt rock powerhouses Badflower, Biffy Clyro, Highly Suspect, and BRKN Love. The band has ultimately established itself as an intense live act not to be missed!

Dayseeker Share Video for Acoustic Version of "Neon Grave"

Southern California's DAYSEEKER  Rory Rodriguez [vocals], Gino Sgambelluri [guitar], Ramone Valerio [bass], and Zac Mayfield [drums] — recently announced their forthcoming acoustic album Replica, which arrives digitally on April 19 and physically on June 14 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The stripped down, intimate renditions of familiar fan favorites highlight the band's songcraft and allow the listener to experience Dayseeker in an entirely new way. The collection also includes appearances from Holding Absence's Lucas Woodland and indie artist Amber DeLaRosa.

The band just dropped the video for their stripped down and emotionally immediate version of fan fave "Neon Grave." Watch it below.

"'Neon Grave' is about my father's battle and passing from cancer," states Rodriguez. "Getting to reimagine this one in a slower setting has a completely different emotion to it now."

Replica is the somewhat unexpected (yet welcomed) result of a specific gig in 2022, when the band's gear overheated at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Thinking on his feet, Rodriguez grabbed an acoustic guitar from the van, plugged in, and performed "Without Me." Soon, he had pulled together a five-song set on the fly as thousands of fans flocked to the stage.

"I felt like we let people down, but I had so many friends say, 'Everyone will remember the day your equipment stopped working and you still played the set as a really special moment’,'" he recalls. "It felt natural for our songs. We usually will do extra tracks for a Deluxe version or re-release, but we decided to commit to an entire acoustic album this time."

Dayseeker will also embark on a headline tour this spring. The tour kicks off April 19 in Tampa and runs through May 25 in San Diego. All dates are below, including spring festival appearances, such as Rockfest, Earthday Birthday, and more. Polaris, Rain City Drive, Avoid, and Ayron Jones are set to appear at select dates. Get tickets here

ABOUT DAYSEEKER:
Dayseeker are a quiet killer. The band has steadily built a buzz over the past several years — and they have reached a tipping point. Dayseeker have become a scene standout with 2019's Sleeptalk, which was hailed by Alternative Press as  "a warm and welcome release to higher ground" and as "much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene.

The album has gone on to accumulate over 125 million streams, and it positioned the band as a formidable force — and one that is primed to take its next big leap. In 2021, the band dropped a deluxe version of Sleeptalk, featuring four reimagined versions of album tracks, which offered fans a fresh and unique take on songs they already love. It also demonstrated the depth and breadth of the band's creative vision, scope, and possibilities. However, Dark Sun catapulted the band beyond the scene's stratosphere. The album is out now via Spinefarm and is at 80 millions streams.

ABOUT SPINEFARM:
Spinefarm represents some of the biggest and most important rock acts in the world. Founded in Finland in 1990, the label established itself as an independent powerhouse for successful European metal acts from Nightwish to Children Of Bodom. Acquired by UMG in 2002, Spinefarm Music Group is now home to a host of artists that reach millions of fans across the globe and showcases the very best in rock, punk and metal. From massive metal names such as Bullet For My Valentine (with over 3 billion streams to their name) to alt-rock legends Killing Joke and genre-benders Sleep Token, Spinefarm's artists are — and always have been —true leaders in their chosen field. The roster also includes renowned names like Atreyu, Airbourne, Saint Asonia, and While She Sleeps, as well as fast-rising young artists like Dayseeker, Dead Poet Society, Kid Kapichi, BRKN LOVE, and Creeper. Spinefarm, now flanked by associated SMG labels Candlelight (Emperor, Ihsahn, Urne) and Snakefarm (Marty Stuart, Austin Meade, The White Buffalo), has grown from its independent origins into a true global rock powerhouse.

Creeper Share "Black Heaven" Visualizer — WATCH

CREEPER SHARE "BLACK HEAVEN" VIDEO — WATCH

BAND TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM SANGUIVORE ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13 VIA SPINEFARM

As they prepare to unleash their third full-length album Sanguivore on Friday, October 13, CREEPER have continued to expand the scope of their frenetic, flamboyant goth-punk heart that took their previous album, Sex, Death & The Infinite Void into the Top 5 of the Official Album Chart. First "Cry To Heaven" came across like an unholy union between The Sisters of Mercy and Glenn Danzig, before "Teenage Sacrifice" channelled the ire and anthemic punch of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in their early '80s pomp.

Now, CREEPER embrace a darker side of black with their new single "
Black Heaven."

Watch the visualizer
below.

"Black Heaven" adds new sonic elements to CREEPER's swaggering gothic heart, with looming, ominous synths entangled like barbed wire around Ian Miles' serrated riffs, which recall the sinister side of electro-pop and the darkwave scene of the early '80s. Presenting an important moment in the story between the album's core characters, Spook and Mercy, the vocal interplay between William Von Ghould's baritone croon and Hannah Hermione'ssweetly alluring vocal harmonies provides another standout touch, which was inspired by Nick Cave's collaboration with the McGarrigle Sisters on the Bad Seeds' track "Hallelujah."

William Von Ghould says, "This song allows us to show a new side to the band and sees us experimenting with electronic elements properly for the first time. Taking influence from Depeche Mode and New Order, we try to push the boundaries of our sound out further than they’ve been before."

Produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood), the upcoming Sanguivore album finds CREEPER going larger-than-life in every conceivable way, from Jim Steinman-style ripping rock operas to Billy Idol's punk/sleaze hybrid and the moody heavyweight electro-rock of Gary Numan. In a world that's getting darker by the moment, the vampiric thrills of Sanguivore offers fans a fantastical escape into the unknown, and one that's full of Easter eggs for those fans who thoroughly immerse themselves within every detail of the record.

Sanguivore is available to pre-order HERE.

Joining the previously announced four vinyl variants which come with a signed art print are some new formats: a limited edition red cassette, and a limited edition card sleeve CD with alternate artwork.

After a surprise second stage headline set at Download and then playing theOVO Arena Wembley as part of the Heavy Music Awards, CREEPER recently announced a London Lafayette show under their alter ego The Ghost Brigade, which sold out instantly. The band will then embark upon the "Sacred Blasphemy" headline tour in November, which concludes with a second much larger London show at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and is also about to sell out. Remaining tickets for the tour, dates listed below, are available HERE.

Dead Poet Society Share Double Single "Running in Circles" + "Hurt" — WATCH

Los Angeles quartet DEAD POET SOCIETY return with not one but two new tracks. Today, the band has shared the video for the new double single"Running in Circles" and "Hurt."

Watch the video
below

"'Running in Circles' explores the paranoid voices inside our heads," the band shares. "It's about the struggle of being real with yourself — avoiding the 'fake.' Sometimes, it feels impossible to avoid. So it was written about not being true to yourself and the shame that follows."

As for "Hurt," the band explains, "There's not a lot in life that's more gut-wrenchingly frustrating than trying desperately for years to build a career and having little to show for it. From living on floors and friends' couches or out of your car, to working job after job just barely making ends meet to going on tour and coming back with less money than you had before. We wrote this song as a symbol of that nagging doubt and insecurity. The doubt that consumes you and that can be triggered by people or events in your life. But more often than not, again, it's the voice inside your head."

The new tracks are the first taste of music from the band since 2021. The band had released a deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed and head-turning debut album -!- (said as "The Exclamation Album."). The expanded version added six new tracks — a healthy selection of stripped down songs, live tracks, and a remix. Dead Poet Society accumulated over 72 million global streams, with nearly 32 million streams in the U.S.

Dead Poet Society will be touring with Nothing More this fall, as well as performing headline shows. All tour dates are below.

Introducing Hunter Oliveri! Singer Drops "Dumb" Video — WATCH

Hunter Oliveri doesn't profess to having it all figured out.

At just 17, the artist is still making sense of himself — who he is, what he stands for, where his life is going. He doesn't arrive as the next ready-made rock star action figure cast in plastic. There is an unquestionable realness about the way he makes sense of life through his music. But he exhibits a surety of mind beyond his years, to create music that connects and inspires, and that will stoke the growing fire of rock's recent renaissance.

Spinefarm is pleased to announce that Hunter Oliveri has signed to the label's international roster. He has also shared the video for "
Dumb."

The clip instantly transports the viewer to a gloriously misspent youth, simply in search of the next feel good moment — be it the next blunt, the next swill of beer, or the next hang session with a friend or a crew. It also offers keen insight into Oliveri's sound and songwriting, not to mention his wild coif of curls!

Watch it below.

"Dumb" boasts a baggy, distorted riff weaving around an earworm melody and a singalong chorus that finds Oliveri chewing over how "I made a home in the chip on my shoulder / I know I could change / but I'd rather be dumb."

It's a fitting look into the heart of a young and hungry artist, who is looking to hold onto and suck the marrow out of his youth and the right here, right now.

"My mom wants me to get a job, two jobs, everything's expensive as fuck, I have friends making more on OnlyFans than college graduates/doctors, everything's dumb," Oliveri says. "So I tried to grab the feelings I have on the daily of: What is the point of doing what my parents want me to do when shit just feels dumb as fuck?”

He continues, "I bet a lot of kids could relate to having people tell you to go to college, find a steady career, have a family, and be a part of this fucked up system, when in reality, I just want to be a kid my entire life, chase girls, skate, smoke, hang with my friends, and make music. I hope the song connects with anyone who just wants to forget all their problems and live life without all the bullshit. Just rather be 'Dumb.'"

So what else do you need to know about Hunter Oliveri, whose previous single "Kids" was tipped by Pigeons + Planes? Plenty!

His songs channel the alternative and grunge blueprint of his musical heroes — like Chris Cornell and Soundgarden, Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins — imbued with the playful opaqueness of Kurt Cobain's lyricism and the easy slacker hooks of Weezer.

Like all of Oliveri's music, it speaks to the messiness of growing up. It sounds exactly like that, too. He simply writes what he knows.

There are songs about partying too hard and songs about loving too much; songs about last night's headrush highs and the morning-after's anxious comedown. There are songs for when you seek the comfort of relatability, and there are songs for when you want to simply say "fuck it all."

They are the product of the humble authenticity of someone who's grown up in a place no different to a million others the world over. Most have never heard of Paso Robles, CA, and might never again. There's sunshine, strip malls, and vineyards that outnumber venues ten to one, where the nearby underground music scene of San Luis Obispo a few miles down the road is more accessible than anything resembling the bright lights of L.A. two hours to the south or San Francisco up north. "It's a boring city, but we make the most of it," Oliveri shrugs. "We'll go skating, or hang out and smoke. And anyway, it's fun to go moshing in someone's basement."

It's no surprise, then, that Oliveri is used to creating more interesting scenes than those that existed outside his window. As a kid, he would do so in the stories he dreamt up in his bedroom. "I like writing stories about worlds I'd want to live in," he says, "which made my own world seem so much bigger."

Such creativity inevitably morphed into songwriting in his early teenage years — though music had long since embedded itself within him. "I was probably four years old when I first heard 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' around my parents’ house," he recalls of music's omnipresence in his life. "I never knew the name of the song but every time I heard it, I'd be like, shit, it's that song. It would give me this majestic feeling." He laughs that his mom holds a video recording of her son gamely plucking through a rendition of a Metallica song (it was the epic "One") at his Kindergarten graduation performance. His dad — an avid fan of Korn and Tool — meanwhile tells him that his parents met at Woodstock; not the peace-and-love of Woodstock '69, but, more aptly, the confusion-and-chaos of Woodstock '99.

A chance meeting at age 14 with a local producer's father while in a coffee shop with his grandpa was the first domino to fall in Oliveri's music story. The rest is a history still to be written. "I've been so incredibly lucky, but I've manifested this, too," he says. "I've always known writing music would be my life. I just had to make it happen. It was hard to find kids around my city that played instruments and wanted to be in a band, but I've been writing songs every day in my bedroom since I was maybe 13 years old. It takes me to a different place."

Those songs are anthems for those disassociated with the world on their doorstep, the soundtrack to growing up marooned inside a digital world that Oliveri speaks of with disdain as "rotting people’s brains."

"I want to bring people into my world through my music," he adds. "I want people to feel something when they listen to my music, and to relate to me, and for me to be a friend and an outlet for them."

And as for everything else?

Well, he'll figure it out as he goes.

Saint Agnes Share "This Is Not The End" Live Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM BLOODSUCKERS OUT JULY 21 VIA SPINEFARM

ALBUM FEATURES MIMI BARKS AND SEAN BEAVAN (NINE INCH NAILS)

"Sounds like the future of rock music" — Alyx Holcombe, BBC Radio 1

Saint Agnes have released an emotional live video for their poignant new single "This Is Not The End," a tribute to Kitty A. Austen's grief for her late mother. The track is taken from the band's upcoming album Bloodsuckers, out July 21 via Spinefarm. Stream the single and pre-order Bloodsuckers
here.

Check out the video for "This Is Not The End"
below.

"I really wanted to write a song directly about my grief to have on the album, but it was just too difficult for the longest time," says Austen. "I was so raw and broken that I struggled to put myself in the place I needed to be in to get it done. But I did get there. The song was written and recorded as the very last thing on the album at the eleventh hour. It's a tribute to my mother and the depth of my love for her. Then for the video we recorded a live piano version of the song at Rockfield Studios, it was a very vulnerable but special moment for us as a band."

Saint Agnes recently announced a UK headline tour, which follows their sold-out headline show at The Black Heart in Camden, a European tour with Monster Magnet, a show supporting Employed To Serve, and an appearance at 2000trees. Find all dates and tickets
here.

ABOUT SAINT AGNES:
Hailing from the UK, Saint Agnes are all about honest lyrics, intense vocal performances, plus rage-fueled music intended to give a voice to those closer to the fringe than the center. As much gang as band, Saint Agnes seek to empower those who've been battered and bruised yet refuse to lie down, and it's a thread that runs deep within Bloodsuckers — SA's first album for Spinefarm and the follow-up to 2019's Welcome To Silvertown, issued on the band's own label.

In addition to … Silvertown, Saint Agnes have released a number of singles, videos, and EPs, embarked on headline tours in both the UK and Europe, and appeared at a host of festivals, including Download, 2000trees, Isle of Wight, and Kendal Calling.

Saint Agnes are also making big waves in the gaming world, with the release of
Dead Island 2 last month. The game, which features the Saint Agnes song "And They All Fall Down" has sold over two million copies.

One thing's for sure, it's got nothing to do with rule-books or playing it safe...

From the
title track onwards, Bloodsuckers is a genre-jumping body of work, taking in elements of metal, punk, industrial, and grunge, without being bound by any specific style; the 11 tracks here come straight from the source, largely self-produced and mixed (NIN collaborator Sean Bevan lends his mixing and production skills to "Follow You"), and this self-contained approach provides an extra emotional weight throughout, with doom trap provocateur and Kerrang! cover artist Mimi Barks further fuelling the chaos on the short, sharp shock that is "Body Bag."

Created in the months following the unexpected and untimely death of Kitty's mother, Bloodsuckers explores a number of themes, including mental illness, pent-up rage, undying love and, of course, grief; from the trash-metal howl into the night that is "Bloodsuckers" right through to broken ballad, "This Is Not The End," a poignant reflection of Kitty’s still-raw emotions, this is a call to outsiders everywhere...

Concludes Kitty, "Creating this album gave me a reason to get to my feet at a time when I really wasn't sure if I could. I've tried to put everything I've been feeling into it, all the pain, the rage, the grief, even the unexpected moments of beauty and belief. I hope it makes you feel less alone. I hope it makes you feel bigger, badder, and stronger. We might be damaged but that doesn't mean we're worthless. This is a record for the defeated, the crushed. We might be broken but that doesn't mean we're not whole. Bloodsuckers forever, Saint Agnes forever."

Dayseeker are a quiet killer. The band has steadily built a buzz over the past several years — and they have reached a tipping point. Dayseeker built themselves into a scene standout with 2019's Sleeptalk, which was hailed by Alternative Press as  "a warm and welcome release to higher ground" and as "much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene." The album has gone on to accumulate over XX million streams, and it positioned the band as a formidable force — and one that is primed to take its next big leap. The album is out now via Spinefarm.

VRSTY Share "The Plug" — LISTEN

New York City-based collective VRSTY (pronounced "Varsity") — Joey Varela [vocals], Javy Dorrejo [bass], Chris Cody [drums], and Paul Gregory [guitar] — are serving up a brand new track with "The Plug."

It's a confident track, powered by Varela's vocals, synths, and powerhouse riffs. It doesn't adhere to any genre specifications or parameters — and that's what makes VRSTY stand out from the pack.

"'The Plug' was only the song that came to me naturally, because I was literally living it as I was writing it," Varela shares, pulling back the curtain on the song's in-real-time and incredibly personal nature. "It's about convincing yourself that you're in love with the good in a person when in actuality, you're addicted to the hell they bring into your life. They essentially become the dealer of all your problems and you can't help but buy what they're selling."

The band is currently on tour with Secrets, For the Fallen Dreams, Outline in Color, and Nerv. All dates are below.

VRSTY ON TOUR:
WITH SECRETS, FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS, OUTLINE IN COLOR, + NERV:
6/22 — Houston, TX — White Oak Music Hall
6/23 — Dallas, TX — Cheapsteaks
6/24 — San Antonio, TX — Vibes Event Center
6/26 — Nashville, TN — The End
6/27 — West Columbia, SC — New Brookland Tavern
6/28 — Greensboro, NC — Hangar 1819
6/29 — Philadelphia, PA — Milk Boy
7/1 — Thompson, CT — Capulet Fest

ABOUT VRSTY:
Welcome Home is the band's debut full length for the label and follows last year's breakthrough Cloud City EP, which has accumulated six million streams in less than a year and yielded the head-turning singles "
Shameless" and "Massive." The latter was the most played on SiriusXM's Octane for two weeks in a row in late 2020. VRSTY have perfected their seamless and fearless cross-pollination of metallic grooves and R&B-influenced, after midnight vocal swagger on this 14-track offering. VRSTY aren't just offering their own take on a genre; they have authored a fusion style that is entirely their own. "Welcome Home is an incredibly personal album to me," Varela shares. "I know everybody says that, and hey, maybe they're not lying when they do. I sure as hell am not. It was definitely a task, at first, trying to figure out how to phrase or sing something without getting too personal. But somewhere along the way, I threw that idea out the window and decided to say exactly what I felt. You won't find me trying to sound cool or using any fancy wordplay. It's just me in my rawest form, saying exactly what I've felt or experienced over the years, which is what has made me who I am today. I think if anybody ever wants to get to know me, this record will give you everything you need to know. No secrets. Just me." The band has also tallied an impressive 25 million streams in the U.S.

Saul Drop "TOOTH AND NAIL" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM THIS IS IT... THE END OF EVERYTHING ARRIVES ON JULY 28 VIA SPINEFARM

TOURING WITH MEMPHIS MAY FIRE THIS SUMMER

Iowa hard rock heavyweights SAUL — brothers Blake Bedsaul [lead vocals] and Zach Bedsaul [lead guitar, backup vocals], William McIlravy [bass, backup vocals], and Myles Clayborne [drums] — recently announced their new albumTHIS IS IT... THE END OF EVERYTHING. The album arrives July 28 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it
here.

Today, the band shares the video for the explosive — both musically and thematically — new single "TOOTH AND NAIL." Watch it
below

"Plain and simple — the world is fucked," states Blake. "We've all been too complacent to do anything about it. We vote in the richest, oldest, most crooked politicians to run our country into the ground and stand around wondering what happened. Wake up. It's time for a change. We won't stand idly by as everything we know and love turns to ash for a political agenda. We will be standing and fighting 'TOOTH AND NAIL.'"

This Iowa quartet continues to bring audiences together with a one-two punch of pummeling metallic grooves and towering melodies. Amassing tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from Revolver, Guitar World, Loudwire, and many more, the group fortify an unbreakable bond with listeners on their second full-length offering, THIS IS IT…THE END OF EVERYTHING [Spinefarm]. For this record, the band collaborated with producer Kile Odell [Motionless In White, Nita Strauss].  Saul emerged out of the Midwest in 2017 and tirelessly bulldozed a path to the forefront of modern rock. They notably performed alongside everyone from Motionless In White, Atreyu, August Burns Red, Crown The Empire, Bush, and 10 Years to HELLYEAH and Nonpoint in addition to gracing the stages of festivals, including Rebel Rock, Rock Fest, Rock USA, Inkcarceration, and Blue Ridge Rock Fest with Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, and Slipknot. The group independently landed a bona fide hit in the form of "Brother"— an homage to the co-founders' late brother Caleb. It marked their first #1 on Sirius/XM Octane in addition to gathering over 9 million Spotify streams and paving the way for their 2020 full-length debut, Rise As Equals. Co-written with David Draiman of Disturbed, "King Of Misery" reeled in 3.7 million Spotify streams, while "Trial By Fire" also surpassed 3 million Spotify streams. Of the former, American Songwriter praised "'King of Misery' wasted no time jumping into the heavy mainstream riffs that Saul set out to wrangle," and Outburn hailed its "futuristic and cinematic video."

Saul will embark on an east coast and Midwest tour with Memphis May Fire this summer. See dates below.

Saint Agnes Share "Outsider" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM BLOODSUCKERS OUT JULY 21 VIA SPINEFARM

ALBUM FEATURES MIMI BARKS AND SEAN BEAVAN (NINE INCH NAILS)

Ferocious four-piece Saint Agnes have released the video for their new single "Outsider." Watch it
below.

The track is the third taste of their upcoming album Bloodsuckers, out July 21 via Spinefarm. Stream the single and pre-order the album
here.

"Outsider" was premiered on
BBC Radio 1's Introducing Rock earlier this week, with Alyx Holcombe stating: "a band that I think just sounds like the future of rock music ... I'm so excited about them."

Vocalist + multi-instrumentalist Kitty A. Austen comments, "'Outsider' is a gothic rock anthem for the strange. It's part letter to my younger, very lost self, part promise to anyone out there feeling lost or alone — you are an outsider, but that's the best thing about you. Celebrate your differences, own your special strangeness. You will find your people, there are lots of us out here! Perennial outsiders, doing things our own way. And you might be a bit broken, but that doesn't mean that you're not whole: it doesn't mean that you're not worthy. 'Outsider' is an invitation to join our weird, wild world and a promise that you will always have a home with us if you struggle to find one elsewhere. I wish I could tell the odd kid that I was, that she will find a glorious home one day with a band of outsiders and that she will be very happy there."

Saint Agnes are also making big waves in the gaming world, with the release of Dead Island 2 last month. The game, which features the Saint Agnes song "And They All Fall Down" has sold over two million copies.

Hailing from the UK, Saint Agnes are all about honest lyrics, intense vocal performances, plus rage-fuelled music intended to give a voice to those closer to the fringe than the center.

Creeper Announce New Album "Sanguivore" + Share "Cry To Heaven" Video — WATCH

CREEPER TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM SANGUIVORE ON OCTOBER 13 VIA SPINEFARM

BAND SHARES NEW VIDEO FOR TRACK "CRY TO HEAVEN"

A new chapter in the thrillingly theatrical story of CREEPER gets underway today as the acclaimed UK band shares the brand new single and video "Cry To Heaven" and announce the Friday, October 13 release of their third album Sanguivore

Watch the video
below.

CREEPER's previous albums — Eternity, In Your Arms and Sex, Death & the Infinite Void — have seen the band enamour an army of devotees, a highly committed following that propelled their second album to a Top 5 chart position.

Vocalist William Von Ghould says, "Keeping in line with the band's ethos of aggressive musical progression, the song is once again an ambitious departure from previous works. 'Cry To Heaven' turns the key and unlocks a door to a new world of decadent excess. The introduction to a new tragic story of love, loss, and vampires. This is Creeper at their most outrageous, harking back to a time where Jim Steinman ruled the airwaves in leather gloves and Aviators."

Opening with the rousing harmonies of the devil's own choir, "Cry To Heaven" immediately establishes another fresh evolution of CREEPER's style. It's a luscious, maximalist wall of sound in which swaggering hard rock at its most anthemic is amplified by punchy, high-drama synths, topped by the band's signature vocal interplay between William Von Ghould's sinister croon and Hannah Greenwood's majestic range.

It's a track which sees CREEPER extending and updating the lineage of the darkwave hedonism of The Sisters of Mercy with the crunching guitars and wounded roar of Danzig. Those two bands are also reference points for the accompanying video, which sees Von Ghould channeling classic Andrew Eldritch vibes within a visual that feels like an S&M twist on The Lost Boys.

The song's lyrics also tease the narrative that will unfold within the Sanguivore narrative. Its references to blood lust, sex, cannibalism, and a human disguise hint at a new story of ill-fated love and corrosive lust — themes which burn throughout CREEPER's previous album concepts.

For the uninitiated, a sanguivore is an entity that needs to feast upon blood to survive.

"Cry To Heaven" is the latest result of CREEPER's collaboration with the twisted mind of producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood, The Cult, Killing Joke).

Sanguivore is now available to pre-order or pre-save HERE.

In addition to its digital release, the album will be available on physical formats which include limited edition vinyl formats and CD.

The news comes as CREEPER are set to play the Heavy Music Awards at the OVO Wembley Arena tonight, where they're nominated for Best UK Artist, Best UK Live Artist and Best Single for "Ghost Brigade." Their previous accolades include landmark awards from Kerrang!, Metal Hammer and Rock Sound.

Completing the CREEPER line-up are founder members Ian Miles (guitar) and Sean Scott (bass) along with drummer Jake Fogarty.

SHARE NEW VISUALIZER FOR TITLE-TRACK "TAKE ME BACK TO EDEN"

Sleep Token have today released their third studio album, Take Me Back To Eden, via Spinefarm. Listen
HERE

Along with its release, the band has revealed the concluding visualiser in the albums accompanying animated series for title-track, "Take Me Back To Eden." Watch it below

RECENT PRESS:
"It's an ambitious, emotional monolith of a record, with all the hallmarks of future classic status" (5/5) — NME

"...if you allow yourself to be fully immersed in Sleep Token's world, the sonic rewards are plentiful" — Kerrang!

"Homer's Odyssey couldn’t help but envy the colossal journey this album takes" — The Skinny

"This is a record that not only expands the band's universe and continues to prod metal's boundaries, but considers what it means to be human. Otherworldly they may be, but there’s the deepest empathy within" — Metal Hammer

"This is the most inventive metal has sounded in a long time" — Upset

Take Me Back To Eden (an hour-plus of music across 12 distinctive tracks) is Part 3 of a trilogy, a spectacular chapter-closer in the ongoing Sleep Token saga — a saga that kicked off in earnest with  debut album Sundowning (2019).

...Eden features probably the heaviest moments thus far recorded by Sleep Token (i.e. "Vore" and "The Summoning"), along with some of the most immediate and certainly the most emotional (i.e. "Aqua Regia" and "DYWTYLM"), with a slew of other tones, textures, and tangents touched on in-between.

TMBTE sees Sleep Token boldly re-confirming a true love of the epic (the title track is eight minutes plus), while further exploring and developing those elements that keep the music removed from any kind of pack, howling at a moon that's all its own.

On the live front, Sleep Token are confirmed to appear as special guests to Slipknot across 2 shows in Hamburg and Berlin, while ST's entire upcoming U.S. tour, in addition to a one-off headliner in Germany, are completely sold-out.

A full list of U.S. appearances is below.

Meanwhile, available album tracks, "Chokehold," "The Summoning," "Aqua Regia," "Granite," and "Vore" have collectively amassed over 85 million streams, whilst standout single "The Summoning" has generated some 38.8 million streams alone, causing the track to trend on Twitter and take the #1 song spot on a host of international Spotify viral charts, as well as being selected as a "YouTube Trending Artist On The Rise," featuring on YouTube's homepage, viewed by millions of people every day.

The unprecedented accolades keep rolling in, between the fact that ST has never played a headline show in the UK that didn't sell out, "Aqua Regia" picking up consistent airplay on the Radio One "Future Sounds" show hosted by Clara Amfo, plus huge pop star Demi Lovato sharing Sleep Token's music with her 153 million Instagram followers, Sleep Token consistently smash boundaries that they refused to acknowledge in the first place.

And even though Sleep Token notoriously do not speak to the press (out of necessity, not ego or gimmick), media can't help but write about the phenomenon, reporting on the band's every move; NME note, "Sleep Token offer their fans an entire world to immerse themselves in if they so wish. It's a place of escapism, and the foundation of a huge fan community that's dedicated to studying the band's creativity. While they have the same fervor as any other fandom, there's still a notable difference." Elsewhere, Metal Hammer called them "the most exciting band in metal right now."

Saul Announce New Album "THIS IS IT... THE END OF EVERYTHING" + Drop "A MILLION MILES"

SAUL ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM THIS IS IT... THE END OF EVERYTHING

NEW ALBUM ARRIVES ON JULY 28 VIA SPINEFARM

BAND SHARES VIDEO FOR "A MILLION MILES"

TOURING WITH MEMPHIS MAY FIRE THIS SUMMER

Iowa hard rock heavyweights SAUL — brothers Blake Bedsaul [lead vocals] and Zach Bedsaul [lead guitar, backup vocals], William McIlravy [bass, backup vocals], and Myles Clayborne [drums] — have announced their new albumTHIS IS IT... THE END OF EVERYTHING. The album arrives July 28 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

To herald the album's announcement, the band has shared the video for first single "A MILLION MILES."

"The distance between us is no longer measured in inches, feet, or miles," says Blake about the song. "It's the void in time between looking up from our screens and locked in a dream. A minimal space we keep for reality. Just a moment to see the difference of where we are, and where we want to be.  We can sit across from someone within reach, and be a million miles away transported through our screens."

The album encompasses a similar theme. Blake shares, "As a whole, we're losing focus. I feel like the only one to look up and notice. Am I losing my mind or losing touch with the times? It's a game we can’t win when the rules always change. Marching toward the end of days. This is it… the end of everything."
The Iowa quartet continues to bring audiences together with a one-two punch of pummeling metallic grooves and towering melodies. Amassing tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from RevolverGuitar WorldLoudwire, and many more, the group fortify an unbreakable bond with listeners on their second full-length offering, THIS IS IT…THE END OF EVERYTHING [Spinefarm]. For this record, the band collaborated with producer Kile Odell [Motionless In White, Nita Strauss]

"As a society, we're so glued to our phones and social media," notes Blake. "When we finally got out of quarantine, we personally needed to take a mental break from it. If you think about it, we don't even have to talk anymore, since communication happens online. So, step back from social media, get out there, shake hands, and live a little bit. You don't have to exist through your phone. Capture the moment in your head and tell the story out loud to someone."

Saul will embark on a tour with Memphis May Fire and more this summer. All dates are below!

Dayseeker Share "Homesick" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM DARK SUN OUT NOW VIA SPINEFARM

BAND TOURING THROUGH 2023

Southern California's DAYSEEKER dropped their new album Dark Sun last fall via Spinefarm. Get the record, which has been streamed 75 million times since release, here

Today, the band has shared the video for the gorgeously emotive single "Homesick." Watch it below

The deceptively simple video finds the band in performance mode in an expansive space that can barely contain the emotional heft of the lyrics or the melodic power of the song's instrumentation.

"'Homesick' is Dayseeker's honest attempt at writing something happier," says singer Rory Rodriguez. "After my father's passing, I was in a rut for a while and there was just this one person that made me feel like it was okay to smile and breathe through one of the darkest periods of my life. Someone that feels like home."

Dayseeker remain on the road in support of Dark Sun, with shows selling out in the UK, U.S., Australia, and beyond.

"The UK holds a very special place in our hearts," the band says. "We haven't played there as a full band in 8+ years, so seeing that the entire tour is on the verge of selling out is a warm welcome back for Dayseeker."

Saint Agnes Share "Animal" Video – WATCH

NEW ALBUM BLOODSUCKERS OUT JULY 21 VIA SPINEFARM

ALBUM FEATURES MIMI BARKS AND SEAN BEAVAN (NINE INCH NAILS)

Ferocious four-piece Saint Agnes have unveiled the video for "Animal" from the forthcoming album Bloodsuckers, out July 21 via Spinefarm. Stream the single and pre-save the album here.

Watch the video for "Animal" below.

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kitty A. Austen comments that "'Animal' is about waving your freak flag high. It's about being who you authentically are inside and revelling in it. It's a song for the misfits who boldly walk a different path with pride."

Following their triumphant sold-out London headline show, Saint Agnes will next join Monster Magnet on their spring and summer European run, before returning to the UK to perform at 2000trees festival.

Saint Agnes are also making big waves in the gaming world, with the release ofDead Island 2 last week. The game, which features the Saint Agnes song "And They All Fall Down," has already sold over a million copies.

Hailing from the UK, Saint Agnes are all about honest lyrics, intense vocal performances, plus rage-fuelled music intended to give a voice to those closer to the fringe than the center.

One thing's for sure, it's got nothing to do with rule-books or playing it safe...

From the title track onwards, Bloodsuckers is a genre-jumping body of work, taking in elements of metal, punk, industrial, and grunge, without being bound by any specific style; the 11 tracks here come straight from the source, largely self-produced and mixed (NIN collaborator Sean Bevan lends his mixing and production skills to "Follow You"), and this self-contained approach provides an extra emotional weight throughout, with doom trap provocateur and Kerrang! cover artist Mimi Barks further fuelling the chaos on the short, sharp shock that is "Body Bag."

The Telegraph UK

“An album of our time… ‘Here’s What You Could Have Won’ feels like a trash can rattling wake up call for the present moment.”

– Kerrang!

“If Idles’ diminishing returns and Fontaines D.C.’s stepping out of formation could see them waver as post-punk’s mainstream flag-bearers, KID KAPICHI effectively embracing being a big rock band could make them an obvious choice to pick up the torch with little hassle.” – Soundboard

“…with track titles like ‘Cops & Robbers’ and ‘Smash the Gaff’, it feels like if Guy Ritchie were an album, it would be this.”

- Sian Eleri (Radio One)

These new additions are different versions of songs from the original album: a Remix of Radio Oneplaylisted single "Rob The Supermarket" by Bobby Wolfgang – frontman with punk-spirited Blackpool outfit, Strange Bones; stripped back, atmospheric renditions of "Tar Pit" & "Special", plus a live version of "Party At No. 10", the track that first attracted the attention of Liam Gallagher, who was so taken with the sentiment and the song that he invited KK to join him at a charity event at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This rousing, impassioned take on "Party…" was captured live at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, near the band’s hometown of Hastings.
