Watch the video below

Consisting of 11 tracks, the sound of Recovery is delivered through sincere lyrics depicting real-life experience with the same ferocity we've come to expect. The music is a mixture of aggression, sadness, hope, and beauty, with soaring choruses and storytelling that promotes the journey towards positivity.

"This record is the antithesis of the last, for far too long we've told the story of mental degradation without hope," the band shares. "Becoming completely drained repeating the same lines of how it hurts to be here. Recovery deals with courage, control, acceptance, and ultimately, the end goal that anyone in this circumstance seeks… the other side. This record is the journey of getting better, taking control of your life and the experiences around you."

To Kill Achilles have extensively toured across the UK, the majority of Europe, and Russia with bands such as We Came As Romans, Counterparts, While She Sleeps, I Killed The Prom Queen, Betraying The Martyrs, and many more.

WATCH Discrepancies - Recovery (Official Music Video):

Discrepancies released their new single "Recovery," from their forthcoming EP Product Of Entertainment, on February 17th along with the official music video via InVogue Records. The single is already doing well on streaming platforms and radio. The band announced a handful of dates with Until I Wake and a tour this spring with Outline in Color and VRSTY in support.

"'Recovery' is kind of an extention of "Not Alone" in a way. Or maybe a more specific version. Not only letting the listener know they are not alone but also offering details of others walking through the same darkness and finding their way out," says the band's vocalist Antonio Metcalf.

Discrepancies, the Rap/Rock band out of St. Louis, have formed an undeniably powerful and innovative sound. Comprised of Garrett Weakley (Bass), Addison Bracher (Guitar/vocals), Brandon Bollinger (Guitar/vocals), Marc Lyle (Drums), and Antonio Metcalf (Vocals) they have formed a unique take on Rap/Rock incorporating heavy riffs with intense lyricism. The 5 blend together many genres to create an innovative soundscape that is guaranteed to grab your interest.

In January 2018, Discrepancies signed to InVogue Records. They released “The Awakening” in March of 2018 and had over a million streams in the first week. Discrepancies promoted their release of The Awakening through 2019, playing multiple runs and festivals such as: Rock USA 2019, select dates with Sevendust, Story of The Year, Metal In The Mountains, and more.

In January of 2020, the band released “Control" from their 2nd LP, The Rise. That track now has over 3 Million views and streams and continues to grow. The band released 4 more singles, riding the wave through the unfortunate 2020 global pandemic.

Together, Discrepancies want to connect with people on a deep level and allow for people to be inspired to form their own opinions free from judgement, from the lyrics of their music.

Season of Mist Partners with Haulix for Upcoming "High Notes" Podcast Series!

“We at Season of Mist are extremely thankful for the meaningful work that James and Haulix are doing with High Notes,” says Katy Irizarry, North American Publicist for Season of Mist. “We are so proud of our artists and friends of the label who came together to share their addiction and recovery stories, a feat that requires much courage as there is still a dark stigma attached to this often misunderstood illness. We hope to help erase that stigma and, more importantly, that these stories will help those who are struggling to know they are not alone and that recovery is possible.”

Hosted by Haulix’s Director of Customer Engagement, James Shotwell, HIGH NOTES features exclusive, in-depth conversations with rock and alternative musicians in various recovery stages. Guests from the first two seasons include Shannon Larkin of Godsmack, Brian “Head” Welch of KoRn, Craig Mabbitt of Escape The Fate, Eric Christopher of Hospital Bracelet, Clint Lowery of Sevendust, Amanda Lyberg of Eva Under Fire, Donovan Melero of Hail The Sun, Bert McCracken of The Used, Anthony Green of Circa Survive, and more. Each episode delves into a different guest’s journey to sobriety and the role the music business played in helping (or hurting) their recovery.

“At Haulix, in addition to taking care of our customers, we take pride in using our industry reach to educate and shine a light on topics less heard about, like addiction and recovery,” says company founder and CEO Matt Brown. “Our High Notes series lets us tap into real-world experiences spoken by the artists themselves.”

Besides sharing new episodes, HIGH NOTES is also debuting a new logo for use exclusively in their partnership with Season Of Mist. The logo is the craftsmanship of designer Nick Ferran, who created all promotional art for the series.

Seasons 1 and 2 of HIGH NOTES are available now on all streaming platforms. The show is produced by Landon Defever, with additional help from programming consultant Laura Haggard. The show’s theme music is from the band You, Me, And Everyone We Know. Listen HERE.

ABOUT SÓLSTAFIR:
SÓLSTAFIR's music penetrates the mind, body, and soul. One does not need to speak their Icelandic tongue to understand the spectrum of raw emotion evoked by every song. ‘Endless Twilight of Codependent Love’ further solidifies the Icelandic rock giants’ place as masters of their craft, delivering their signature elegance and the unbridled passion upon which they've built their career. While a clear evolution, SÓLSTAFIR also pays homage to their metallic roots. Much like the vast expanse of their homeland, the band once again embodies the ever-turning wheel of the four seasons with their shifting light and darkness.
