SKELETAL REMAINS Announces New Album, Shares Cannibalistic Music Video for New Single, "Void of Despair"

American death metal purveyors SKELETAL REMAINS will be releasing their brand new full-length, 'Fragments of the Ageless,' via Century Media Records on March 8, 2024! To celebrate the forthcoming opus, the band is now unleashing the first vicious attack from the new offering! The brutalizing new single, "Void of Despair," can be found along with a cannibalistic music video, directed by Dillon Vaughn, below.

The band comments: “We are very proud to present our first single entitled ‘Void of Despair!' Inspired by the true horrors of the many men lost at sea, who after depleting all of their resources and food, turned to cannibalism for survival. We gave the old stories our own twist by having the crew set on a ship lost in the eternal void of deep space. The aggression and spastic riffs swirling throughout the song perfectly express the feeling to an endless losing battle of sanity and starvation, thus succumbing to their demise. We hope you enjoy!"

Levi Hummon & Walker Hayes Team Up On "Paying For It," Out This Friday

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Levi Hummon will release a new studio version of his fan-favorite song “Paying For It” on Friday. Walker Hayes, an award-winning, multi-platinum artist, joins him on the track. Hummon has been performing the song, which he co-wrote with Hayes and Eric Arjes, while on tour, and it has become a crowd favorite and viral hit. Hummon and Hayes released a demo of the tune in 2021 which has now garnered more than 23 million global on-demand streams. Pre-save the song here.

The singers, along with producer Eric Arjes, recently recorded a studio version of the song that will be released Friday as Hummon's debut song for Red Van Records. The tune will be released digitally through TikTik’s SoundOn global distribution platform.

‘“Paying For It’ is a song that I have believed in since the day we wrote it,” said Hummon. “To not only have penned the song with Walker, but to have him featured on the song is a blessing. During the past few years, Swedish adventure metallers TWILIGHT FORCE have been crafting their new opus At the Heart of Wintervale, which will be released on January 20th via Nuclear Blast. Three years after the release of the last album Dawn Of The Dragonstar, it is time to tell new stories and continue the incredible epos of TWILIGHT FORCE.

At the Heart of Wintervale will consist of 8 captivating tales from far and wide, and will have a running time of approximately 45 minutes. The songs are all stories and legends from the Twilight Kingdoms, gathered over years of meticulous research, and will further explore and delve into the vast and magical world of its realms.

At the Heart of Wintervale will be released on CD, Digibook, and Vinyl. The limited Digibook edition will also include three bonus tracks. The first one is a song that many of TWILIGHT FORCE'sloyal knights may somewhat recognize; it is an acoustic blend of some of the older works, featuring an entrancing vocal performance and guitar work byTWILIGHT FORCE's very own wood elf Aerendir. The second and third bonus tracks are orchestral versions of two songs from the album, where fans will have the opportunity to experience a different soundscape, and perhaps discover new exciting elements and intricacies never discerned before.
