Plain White T's Share Remix of Billion-Streaming Smash Hit "Hey There Delilah"

PLAIN WHITE T'S — Tom Higgenson [vocals], Tim Lopez [lead guitar, vocals],Mike Retondo [bass], and De'Mar Hamilton [drums] — have shared the RJ Pasin remix of their billion-streaming, platinum smash hit "Hey There Delilah." Watch + listen below

The song was originally released back in 2006 and it remains a beloved song among fans and beyond.

Many remixes can be subtle. Not so with the RJ Pasin remix if the platinum hit "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White Ts. The remix adds a little twang, as well as some beats and blips, giving the billion streaming, heartfelt song an unexpected refresh for 2024. Things escalate and get unexpectedly noisier and louder towards the latter half of the song. It's a testament to the songwriting, since the song lends itself to this reworking, which call out all of the many beautiful moments of the song.

"I love RJ Pasin's reimagining of 'Hey There Delilah,'" says Higgenson. "So much energy, and a totally different spin on the song. It's so cool."

Pasin concurs, "My remix of 'Hey There Delilah' was a fun way to incorporate modern production and guitar composition into such a timeless classic."

The band's latest release, their self-titled album, is out now via Fearless Records. Get it here

Fired Up." Watch it below.

The song's layered, full melodies and tongue-in-cheek lyrics are the perfect mid-day pick-me-up — it's the sonic serotonin boost you need when the clock is about to strike 2pm and you are this close to hitting the wall. Who needs caffeine when you can get "Fired Up?" This feel-good jam will have you shimmying and swaying for the next three minutes.

"'Fired Up' is such a party," says Higgenson. "Somehow, it's energetic and lazy, amped up and chill, all at the same time. I think it might be the best song on the album. It's all about looking around and seizing the day. A total feel good song, but in an odd, quirky way. I don't think it's possible to listen to it without smiling."

Plain White T's Share "You Plus Me" — LISTEN

SELF-TITLED ALBUM OUT NOVEMBER 17 VIA FEARLESS RECORDS

BAND APPEARING AT SECOND ANNUAL WHEN WE WERE YOUNG FESTIVAL

PLAIN WHITE T'S — Tom Higgenson [vocals], Tim Lopez [lead guitar, vocals], Mike Retondo [bass], and De'Mar Hamilton [drums] — recently announced their new, self-titled album, out November 17 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it

The band has shared the lyric video for "
You Plus Me." Watch and listen below

With its gentle, acoustic guitar strumming, lilting melodies, and talk-sung vocals that deliver relatable, journal-honest lyrics, "You Plus Me" has a delightfully retro vibe. It's a simple, pretty, and resonant ode to finding and loving your person through good times and bad. Ultimately, this song could have a second life in a montage in a movie where a starstruck couple is trying to find its way back to one another.

"'You Plus Me' is a song about finding that person who is just as weird and nerdy as I am," says Higgenson. "It's our flaws and our uniqueness that brings us together. There's kind of an 'us against the world' mentality in this song and I love that! We purposely left the recording very raw and stripped down to let that spontaneity and misfit charm shine through."

As for the album, the band took its time and truly tapped into the essence that is the Plain White T's.

"We were trying to hark back to sounds we've used in the past with a freshness," Higgenson says. "This one came from a really authentic place of understanding who we are and what we do. I'm more excited than I've been in a long time. As musicians, we're always trying to outdo ourselves or go somewhere we haven’t gone before. Somehow, we figured out how to go to a fresh spot and still sound like Plain White T's."

Mission accomplished with the new album!

The band will also appear at the second annual When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas later this month.

Plain White T's Share New Single "Would You Even"

Announced Friday, two-time Grammy-nominated rock group Plain White T's are back with their latest single "Would You Even," out now. Listen here.

Leaning back into their pop-punk roots, Plain White T's treat fans to a new sonic bop — fit with an undeniably catchy chorus and diary-honest lyrics. Known for their charming melodies and punk-centric guitar tones, "Would You Even" once again boasts the band's ability to write memorable hooks and intoxicating hits. Fans can hear this latest single, along with "Spaghetti Tattoo" and "Happy," on all streaming platforms today.

"I always have this fear, when I'm creating something that I really love, that what if I die, and these songs I'm writing and pouring my heart into will just be stuck on my iPhone forever," says Higgenson. "Never to be heard. Never to even get the chance to be hits. That's the basis of 'Would You Even.' I was dating someone and I would drive home super late sometimes after hanging out with them, and then the next morning, I would think about how tired I was, and how stupid and dangerous that was. And that led me to the question, 'Was this person even worth the risk? Would she do the same for me?'"

The band previously dropped "
Spaghetti Tattoo" and "Happy."

The Plain White T's were in the news recently with a beautifully heartwarming story of Higgenson performing their signature smash "Hey There Delilah" bedside for a cancer-stricken fan who was named after the track. Read more at

Plain White T's Drop New Song "Happy!" — LISTEN

Earlier this year, the Plain White T's shared the brand new single and video "Spaghetti Tattoo," an acoustic love song in which frontman Tom Higgenson recounts a memorable first date. The video finds the band appearing as puppets, with scenes that pay homage to famous moments from film history. Watch it here.

Today, the band has followed up that moment with the new single "Happy." Listen
below.

The Plain White T's new single "Happy! is a chill, and, well, happy track. Lyrically, it offers an optimistic take on getting through a rough patch and looking forward to the future when a bad situation inevitably improves! Ironically, the melodies and chords a melancholy as Higgenson declares, "I wanna be happy, happy, happy / What's the point of being sad? / I wanna feel good." It'll have you dancing like no one is watching.

"The thing I love about 'Happy' is that the lyrics are so optimistic and fun, but the chords and the melodies are so melancholy," Higgenson explains. "It's like, 'Ok, I know I'm going through something right now, but I just wanna get over it already and feel good again!' Like I know things are gonna get better, but I'm not quite there yet."

The Plain White T's were also in the news recently with a beautifully heartwarming story of Higgenson performing their signature smash "Hey There Delilah" bedside for a cancer-stricken fan who was named after the track. Read more at

Plain White T's Share "Spaghetti Tattoo" Video

The Plain White T's are back with a new single and video. "Spaghetti Tattoo" is an acoustic love song in which frontman Tom Higgenson recounts a memorable first date. The video finds the band appearing as puppets, with scenes that pay homage to famous moments from film history.

It's a dreamy, airy track propelled by lush harmonizing and understated emotion. It's also deceptively simple — gentle strumming, percussion that mimics a heartbeat, and Higgenson's heartfelt vocals. But its energy and relatability can fill the room. It's truly a feel good song about how "it feels good not to know."

Watch it below.

"I went on a great first date with a girl I'd been talking to and DM'ng with for a while," says Higgenson. "We laughed and drank and got lost in the moment, until we realized that we were the last two people in the restaurant! It felt so good to be out again after those crazy last couple years, and the date left me filled with excitement and optimism about love and life. So the very next day, I grabbed my guitar and wrote this song. She had a spaghetti tattoo on her arm, which was such a fun and silly detail, so I had to include that in the song. It's definitely a song about noticing and enjoying the little things."

The Plain White T's have been in the news lately with a beautifully heartwarming story of Higgenson performing their signature smash "Hey There Delilah" bedside for a cancer-stricken fan who was named after the track. Read more at CNN, PEOPLE, and Newsweek.
