FROZEN CROWN Release New Single "Who Wants to Burn in Heaven" + Video!

ITALIAN POWER METAL BAND FROZEN CROWN RELEASE THIRD SINGLE "WHO WANTS TO BURN IN HEAVEN" — WATCH THE OFFICIAL VIDEO BELOW !

NEW, DARKER ALBUM, THE LEGEND OF THE SIX KINGS, RELEASES OCTOBER 2 VIA NAPALM RECORDS — PRE-ORDER NOW!

FROZEN CROWN determine the direction of their new narrative approach with their new single "Who Wants to Burn in Heaven."

"Who wants to burn in Heaven if you can rule forever down in Hell?," the choir-powered, groovy song exclaims, illustrating the Italian band's new-found darkness. A heavy metal riff turns into an epic melody, with a powerful vocal delivery by both Giada "Jade" Etro and Federico Mondelli following. The accompanying album, The Legend of the Six Kings, releases October 2 via Napalm Records.

Giada "Jade" Etro about "Who Wants to Burn in Heaven":
"'Who Wants To Burn In Heaven' is the natural follow-up to 'I Am The Tyrant,' one of our most popular and beloved songs, with its driving martial pace and the singalong emotional chorus. The song is a statement of uniqueness and freedom. Better to stand as a king among outsiders (the misunderstood, the unconventional, the beautifully imperfect) than to beg for a place among those who worship conformity and call it perfection. Their Heaven may look flawless from the outside, but it will punish and make you burn if you try to shine with your own light."

The legend starts: FROZEN CROWN head into their very own age of gold with their new album, The Legend of the Six Kings, coming October 2 via Napalm Records. Taking a more narrative approach than previous releases, their sixth album sends the Italian band on an epic quest. The ten brand-new heavy power metal tracks expand their dynamic repertoire into a slightly darker, but nevertheless illustrious, direction. With lead vocalist Giada "Jade" Etro changing her formerly cheerful approach to claim the sinister titular frozen crown, the band shows its true form with this straightforward punch of a record.

The Legend of the Six Kings has FROZEN CROWN take the throne deserving of their band name. A powerful work of rousing heavy power metal and massive vocal arrangements, the six-piece delivers a glorious performance filled with energetic melodies and catchy choruses. The Legend of the Six Kings matures the band's trademark sound and makes sure that these six kings and queens will remain what the title states: legends. The album is open for pre-order now. This sixth album depicts the strength of our six band members, and our personal idea of Power Metal infused in ten catchy tracks touching the most varied nuances of the genre, from raw and uncompromising Speed Metal, to the sumptuous magniloquence of Symphonic Metal, to the occasional linear chaos of Melodic Death Metal, but always sounding as FROZEN CROWN as ever!"

Legendary Hardcore Force WALLS OF JERICHO Unleash Incendiary New Single "Agency"

Legendary hardcore + metalcore force WALLS OF JERICHO are back with their long awaited new album System Error: Humanity dropping November 13 via Napalm Records. Following the triumphant release of their first single "The Ascent," praised by fans and critics for its "fierce breakdowns and demolishing riffs" (Metal Injection), today, WOJ unleashes the exceedingly ferocious follow up "Agency."

Like a bullet from a gun, "Agency" takes off at 100 miles an hour in explosive thrash excellence, before turning around and dropping you on your head with a tectonic breakdown. Iconic frontwoman Candace Buckingham gives a moving sermon of self actualization, galvanizing listeners to fight for their inalienable, human rights.

Frontwoman Candace Buckingham on "Agency":
"'Agency' is a song about freedom. The kind that lives within you, the kind no one can take away, and the kind you have to fight for every single day."

Watch the Lyric Video for "Agency" Below:

Order Your Copy of System Error: Humanity HERE.

Clobbering listeners out of the gate with "True Til' Death," the band affirms the triumph of the comeback with rabid aggression: Iconic frontwoman Candace Buckingham immediately  commands listeners with her gargantuan growls. The discordant violence of tracks like "The Ascent" and "Untouchable," tap into something truly primal and kick you back a reading level  with their claustrophobic chord work, while more thrash driven tracks like "The Flame" and  "Agency" take off at 100 miles per hour, plowing through a plethora of protein packed riffage  and solos. Lyrically the band is stoking the flames of discontent, with tracks like "Agency," "Borrowed Ground," and "Last Judgement," delivering empowering messages of reclamation,  self determination, and human rights, encouraging listeners to fight for a better world. The  record also features a premier slew of guests including Lamb of God's Randy Blythe on "Broken Mouths Can't Speak," his beckoning howl joining Candace on a ferocious duel attack; and Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on "Humanity," propelling the groove laden pit starter  into cataclysmic levels of chaos. After some more delicious violence, and a transcendent slow burn in the form of "A Brighter Fire," "The Reckoning" finishes things off with an epic, catastrophic energy that is bookended with one of the album's most punishing breakdowns, bound to send some unlucky concertgoers to the dentist.

Legendary producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou (NAILS, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Code Orange, and Every Time I Die) is behind the boards, capturing the band’s ferocious live  energy while maintaining a pristine presentation. Powerful, fierce, and stirring, WALLS OF JERICHO re-emerge with righteous purpose and brutal dedication, humanity may be the source  of the system error, but we are the system, and we are the solution.

BLACK SPIKES Release New Single, "DULKĖS" — Watch the Official Music Video

With mere days to go until the release of their sophomore album, Ydos, Lithuanian force BLACK SPIKES releases another single. "DULKĖS" — Lithuanian for "dust" — is Ydos' mystical album closer. Versatile, yet grasping, the five-piece breakout band solidifies its upward trajectory with this powerful track. Initially driven by slow modern drum sounds and singer Agni's captivating whispers, "DULKĖS" quickly explodes into a thrilling headbanging invitation.

Always keeping up the exceptional balance between sensitivity and heaviness, the song wraps up BLACK SPIKES' bleak exploration of humankind's relationship with its vices. Ydos is a creative twist on modern metal, a progressive sweeping blow reaching out with fierce claws, never to let you go.

The album releases this Friday.

BLACK SPIKES about "DULKĖS":
"The final song of Ydos, 'DULKĖS,' closes the whole fairytale by returning everything to dust. It is about the shortness of human life and what remains after we are gone. Our bodies disappear, the past fades, and the future belongs to others. But dust also carries the possibility of new life, reminding us that everything ends only to begin again."

Watch the Official Music Video for "DULKĖS" Below:

Emerging from the shadows are BLACK SPIKES, bringing the darkness right along with them on their new album, Ydos, out August 28. The Lithuanian breakout band's first release with Napalm Records, coming shortly after their nomination at their home country's Grammy-comparable M.A.M.A. Music Awards, deals with the eponymous flaws of humanity, conceptually interwoven with modern progressive metal, serving as a complex mirror for us all.

The depth of its concept is reflected in every note of Ydos, from every heavy riff to every proggy twist. Leaning into electronic music while holding on firmly to their metal roots, the Lithuanian band creates a distinctive sound, alluringly dark and captivatingly heavy. BLACK SPIKES venture into gloominess, filling the void with spine-tingling philosophical thoughts and posing as Janus-faced companions on a fateful journey into the self in which every step should be taken with caution because a trap just might snap...

BLACK SPIKES about Ydos:
"Ydos is a conceptual album — a dark fairytale about human vices. The idea was there from the very beginning and guided the entire songwriting process. Each vice has its own name and story, and many songs will be brought to life through music videos where these vices take shape. It was our first time creating a conceptual album, and we really enjoyed starting with an idea and expressing it through music."

Get Your Copy Of Ydos NOW!

Initiating the story of Ydos is the eerie "PASAKA" (engl. fairy tale), an intro setting the mood with menacing ticking sounds growing into orchestrals and singer Agni's high vocals layered with screams. A calming lullaby exploding into growls, thunderous blast beats, and elaborate guitar riffs, "MOTINA" (engl. mother) describes the birth of humankind's vices and therefore serves as an exposition for the storytelling aspect. Throughout the ten songs of their second album, BLACK SPIKES explore the relationships with flaws we all carry within, devoting a song to each of them. "MELAS" (engl. lie) introduces trap beats and rap to the mix, all with an approach clearly rooted in modern metal with sophisticated progressive elements. "MARA," investigating excessive curiosity, beautifully contrasts calmness and calamity, with the quintet allowing their different elements to breathe while still entwisting them persuasively. Following, "ZELVAR," which features the album's only English lyrics, and "REVANA" add endearing, highly recognizable riffs to Ydos, further opening the gates to the hauntingly beautiful realms BLACK SPIKES are unfolding as they delve into greed and revenge, respectively, the concepts personified in the form of demons. The raw rage evolves into carefully structured "APATIJA" (engl. apathy), whose futuristic intermezzi make for especially interesting headbanging rhythms throughout which Agni’s voice acts as a gentle guide. "AUREA" continues BLACK SPIKES' cinematic approach in its depiction of pride, unleashing a storm of rapacious riffs and galloping drums, frequently broken up by halcyon parts, their cleverly placed tranquility conveying comfort in seemingly hopeless hazes. With pressing "SENAS DEMONAS" (engl. old demon), BLACK SPIKES free yet another hellish entity, before "DULKĖS" (engl. dust) picks up on the melodized cinematography, wrapping up this bleak exploration of what it means to be human.

Yaga — Guitar, Electronic elements

AXTY Unleash New Single "all I love"

This Friday, Brazilian deathcore rising stars AXTY will unleash their incendiary Napalm Records debut album The Pain Made Me Who I Am. Today, they give fans the final preview with the pummeling "all I Love". Wielding both clave and breakdowns like a warhammer, AXTY effectively pummels listeners into a pulp, rewarding survivors with sweetly triumphant chorus hooks. Ready for the dance floor and crowdkillers, AXTY connects brutally with every swing of the hammer.

Frontman Felipe Hervoso on "all I Love":
"’all I love’ is a song about being consumed by the fear of failing at the one thing you've dedicated your life to. It explores the highs and lows of being a small artist in the music industry, the constant pressure to stay relevant, keep growing, and prove yourself over and over again. Over time, that pressure can turn something you once loved and saved you into something that fills you with self-doubt, anxiety, and the feeling that you'll never be able to live off your dreams."

Watch the Official Music Video for "all I Love" Below:

With their new album, AXTY explore universal lyrical themes of self-evolution through harnessing pain and resilience born from adversity, transforming negative experiences into fuel for growth. Moments of barbarism and serenity all tied together with infectious grooves, pristine production, and an unwavering dedication to brutality. Throughout its 12 tracks, The Pain Made Me Who I Am proves AXTY as a visionary force to watch in the ever-expanding modern metalcore scene — inarguably poised for star status as they climb the ranks.

AXTY about The Pain Made Me Who I Am:
"The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are."

Get Your Copy Of The Pain Made Me Who I Am NOW!

The Pain Made Me Who I Am delivers the goods from note one as earth-shattering intro track "pain made me" pulls out all of the stops — crashing in with dense down-tuned guitar chugs beneath hip-hop charged samples. Anthemic "who I am" showcases the band's seamless, genre-pushing blend with intense polyrhythmic deathcore passages and soaring metalcore melodies, while tracks like "all I love" incite pure metallic violence with the band’s erratic trademark guitar acrobatics, hypnotic drum patterns and addictive vocals — both crushing and clean — showcasing the broad talents of frontman Felipe Hervoso, drummer Gabriel Vacari, and guitarist Jonathas Peschiera. Particularly, Hervoso's keen ability to dramatically tilt his vocal approach from crooning cleans to virtually superhuman screams, growls and squeals will have his name on the lips of deathcore vocal enthusiasts in no time. Songs like "nothing but pain" inject heavy doses of the futuristic metalcore fusion AXTY has become lauded for, while album standouts like first single/album closer "end this" weave alternative and even nu-metal flavor into the album's addictive mix.

French Folk Band SKÁLD Release "Himinbjǫrg" Video

French ritualists SKÁLD lift the veil to reveal another glimpse into our ancient destiny. "Himinbjǫrg," the second single off of their upcoming album, Ørlǫg (coming September 25 via Napalm Records), reaches far out to the edge of Asgard, realm of the Gods. At the eponymous castle in the sky, Heimdall keeps watch for invaders at the rainbow bridge, Bifröst. SKÁLD lend Asgard's guardian an assertive voice, letting the song serve as an emphatic yet reassuring guide through our sometimes-clouded destiny. The drum-driven song extends the folk musicians' invitation to step into ancient times and dance among reawakened spirits.

SKÁLD about "Himinbjǫrg":
"'Himinbjǫrg' invites us to step onto the threshold, to the gateway at the edge of the sky, to face the guardian's gaze—are we ready to be judged as we reach the end of the bridge? These cliffs in the sky are a mirror of our actions, our ambitions, our Ørlǫg; it is a long journey toward something greater — let us ride on without fear."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Himinbjǫrg"Below:

Ancient spirits come alive as SKÁLD extend an invitation into times long gone but not forgotten. Ørlǫg, coming September 25, 2026, is their first album via Napalm Records, and it is our destiny. As the Norns weave our future, this album is a fascinating passageway into our pristine origins and the consequences of our choices. Ten new songs as stepping stones, Ørlǫg is an offering to listen, to dwell, to reflect—and to find something within yourself previously unknown. SKÁLD don't just play music, they awaken ancient ways.

A staple band in the genre, SKÁLD deliver a striking work of art with their latest album, deferentially using their sources to keep old spirits alive and form the enchanting world of Ørlǫg. The language might sound unfamiliar, but the music still touches the soul.

SKÁLD about Ørlǫg:
"Ørlǫg is the cosmic web that influences the world and every person. Part of our Ørlǫg is determined by our birth, our past actions, and our upbringing, but Ørlǫg is not set in stone; our daily choices are constantly shaping it. What we do now and what we have done in the past determines what will happen to us in the future; we cannot escape the consequences of our actions. This album makes us question our choices—both individual and collective—and the patterns we accept or reject. The Norns weave our destiny, but we can take control of certain things: travel, ride worlds, and grow. Each song on this album describes a situation, a place, a choice to be made. Let's take hold of our Ørlǫg."

Hard Rockers NESTOR Unleash Live Version of "Teenage Rebel"

Swedish hard rockers NESTOR are set to release their first ever live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studios this August 14 via Napalm Records! Today, the band has revealed the final single with a powerful live version of their celebrated '80s-inspired anthem "Teenage Rebel," together with a live video. "Teenage Rebel" was originally released as the title track of the band's critically acclaimed latest studio album (2024) that received international chart success, including reaching #12 on Official German Album Charts and #19 in Sweden. Drenched in nostalgia, the song features epic riffing, emotion-loaded melodies and a massive chorus that shines even brighter than before on the live version. Watch the captivating live video below, and secure your copy of Live at Gothenburg Film Studios now!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"'Teenage Rebel' is all about lost youth. About being careless. About being fearless and living every day like there's no tomorrow. We believe that message really shines through in this live performance of the song."

Check Out the Live Video for "Teenage Rebel" Below:

Live at Gothenburg Film Studios treats fans old and new to a hefty selection of live versions of future classics from NESTOR's celebrated catalogue. The band brings the heat with a new rendition of the track "Firesign" (originally from Kids in a ghost town, 2021) — catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily '80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals. The nostalgia-drenched following track "Teenage Rebel" (title track of the latest studio album, 2024) gets audiences singing along without a failure with its irresistible chorus that is accompanied with emotion-loaded melodies and massive riffs. Further highlights of this extensive, 16-track offering include a live rendition of one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date, "On The Run" (also from the praised debut Kids in a ghost town, 2021).

This comprehensive live album, available even as a DVD, draws from NESTOR's impressive repertoire of arena-worthy anthems and rock ballads, polished with the very best AOR and classic '80s rock influences. Without a doubt, NESTOR continue their steady mission to restore the glory of rock!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"When I listen to Live at Gothenburg Film Studios, it becomes clear to me that it shows everything that NESTOR was about, from the beginning. A live performance with all the little quirks and mistakes that makes it human, a thing that I have learned to love even more in an era of AI-generated music. Live at Gothenburg Film Studios is less clinical and more of a human experience in comparison to our studio albums and shows a different side of NESTOR. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did recording it up on stage."

TEMPERANCE Release "Death: Right Before We Die" + Video!

Italian symphonic power metallers TEMPERANCE delve deeper into their personal deck of Tarot with the release of "Death: Right Before We Die." The second single from their upcoming album Arcani, coming October 16 via Napalm Records, deals with an experience the band members shared while on tour. While having dinner in Tallinn, Estonia, during Sabaton Cruise 2024, the restaurant they stayed at caught on fire. That same day, guitarist Marco Pastorino wrote the main melody for the emotive mid-tempo song that now also features intense vocals.

Kristin Starkey about "Death: Right Before We Die":
"This song explores the existential threat to our mortality through the tarot card, Death. It is human nature to try to avoid this eventuality, but the ferryman always finds us. This song is about facing the inevitable 'end' not with despair, but by anchoring ourselves in the profound beauty of human connection and the love we share in the present moment. Ultimately, it's a personal anthem about survival and presence. It's a reminder to surrender to the journey, seize every single day, and remember that we have the power to define our own fate."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Death: Right Before We Die" Below:

Italian symphonic power metallers TEMPERANCE reshuffle the pack with their eighth album, Arcani, coming October 16, 2026 via Napalm Records. Structured around the divinatory practice of Tarot, each of the new songs follows a different card of the Major Arcana deck. Pouring their passion into 13 spellbinding songs with even catchier symphonic melodies than before, TEMPERANCE's bright future takes shape on Arcani.

Though not a direct concept album, TEMPERANCE position themselves as masters of narrative with their Tarot-themed album, Arcani. Their symphonic grandeur rising to new heights on their memorable seventh album, the Italian five-piece knows how to make their trademark alternating vocalists stand out. With the most personal lyrics of their career, the lines recorded in group sessions binding the band together even more, TEMPERANCE present a strong melodic piece of work, filled with power, passion, and perspective.

Marco Pastorino about Arcani:
"We are finally here to announce our new album Arcani! 13 incredible new songs that we have worked tirelessly on over the past year, and we are confident they will become an essential part of our live show. Epic symphonic arrangements, harmonies woven through our three distinctive voices, huge metal guitar solos, and a fantastic production! After our adventures around the globe supporting the magical world of Hermitage, we have returned with something magical once again. Welcome to the world of Arcani."

German Symphonic Metal Icons XANDRIA Present Album's Title Track "Eclipse"

Just a few days ahead of the release of their new album, Eclipse, dropping this Friday, German symphonic metal icons XANDRIA unveil the record's title track and final single alongside an official music video. "Eclipse" showcases the exceptional versatility of vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, highlighting the full range of her remarkable voice: From soft, emotional passages and powerful rock vocals to intense growls and soaring operatic sections. Bringing all of these vocal styles together in a single metal song, performed by one singer, is a truly rare achievement.

Driven by heavy guitars and dramatic orchestral arrangements, the German band, with a career spanning more than 30 years and numerous high-charting releases, continues to raise the bar. They demonstrated exactly that last weekend with their appearance on Germany's ZDF-Fernsehgarten, one of the country's most popular television shows.

Fans can experience XANDRIA's captivating live performance this Saturday on the main stage at Germany's M'era Luna Festival, where the band will celebrate the release of Eclipse. They will then embark on an extensive European tour, kicking off this September.

Watch the official music video for "Eclipse" Below.

With their latest album (2023) being XANDRIA's most successful release to date, entering the Official German Album Charts at #9, the upcoming Eclipse, releasing this Friday, August 7 via Napalm Records, is taking the band on their most diverse path yet. It features eleven tracks that represent the most diverse body of work in the band's discography so far: every song has its own identity—a journey full of discoveries—yet they all belong to the same world. Classic, '80s-inspired metal riffs stand alongside low-tuned modern metal guitars, cinematic orchestral sounds meet Celtic folk influences, and dark electronic elements blend with intimate rock moments, even including a guitar solo that owes more to Pink Floyd than to any metal genre.

Eclipse marks XANDRIA's most outspoken and cinematic album so far: A dark, colourful, and defiant statement for reason, empathy, and democracy in times when all three are under attack, brought to life by a band fueled with new energy, new ambitions, and a clear artistic direction, aiming higher than ever and not looking back!

IGNEA Release Video for "Darkness" Single

Ukrainian modern metal architects IGNEA further open the doors to their upcoming album Monumental, out on October 23 via Napalm Records, with the second single, "Darkness." The song sets the emotional foundation for the album, which is set around the concept of nostalgia. "Darkness" explores finding comfort in memories, even if they reveal cracks. Native to Kyiv, IGNEA have their own fair share of those, so the new song inevitably takes a bittersweet turn. Shifting between eerie, melancholic verses and grandiose, uplifting choruses before crescendoing into a live choir set against raw blast beats, the new song mirrors the emotional swing of nostalgia itself, the drift into shadow followed by sudden bursts of longing.

"Darkness" is paired with a music video shot in Ukraine's capital city. The walk through Kyiv captures an additional theme of the album — the walk past modernist buildings representing a future that never arrived. Part of the video was filmed at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture — symbolically vital for an album about urban nostalgia, as its halls carry the energy of generations of students who trained there to build the very structures the video mourns.

With the very same buildings that once only held innocent memories of the band's upbringing now being destroyed by the war, the imagery adds a second, bitter layer to the nostalgia. It's not just longing for the past, but grief for what is disappearing in real time. In a cruel coincidence, IGNEA shot the video for "Darkness" in the literal darkness of the largest missile and drone attacks on Kyiv that hit the night before shooting.

Helle Bohdanova about "Darkness":
"'Darkness' is about the rides we take into nostalgia when the present gets too heavy — and how bittersweet it is to realize you can never actually go back. As all IGNEA members are from Kyiv, we wanted to make a nostalgic ode to our city, walking through its memory — the same modernist buildings that once promised a future, the subway stations, the same streets that hold our childhoods, our first kisses, people we've lost. The war, in its turn, adds its own layer of darker nostalgia, watching those buildings burn in real time — and it heavily affected both days of filming. On the first day, one of the worst missile attacks on Kyiv hit the night before — we hadn't slept at all, running on nothing but adrenaline, and the city was still on fire as we drove to the location. On the second, we filmed through the city with sirens and drones overhead. Considering this, we're living in literal darkness, longing for the peaceful, trouble-free days... Can we ever get back?"

Watch the Official Music Video For "Darkness" Below:

Monumental is IGNEA's second full-length album that was written during the full-scale war in Ukraine. The recording process mostly took place in the winter of 2025-2026, during icy temperatures and long power outages in Kyiv.

Helle Bohdanova says about Monumental:
"Back in the 17th century, nostalgia was considered a deadly disease — and in many ways, it still is. It's a universal feeling experienced by every human being, pulling us toward a past that felt gentler than it truly was, especially during the bitter moments of the present. Much of this album was inspired by modernist architecture — concrete giants built to signal progress and a brighter future, now slowly decaying. They've become a sort of memory box: Monuments to unrealized dreams, where the future that was once imagined never arrived, yet continues to echo through the ruins and bright mosaics."

Modern Metalcore Band IRIDIUM Signs With Napalm Records

Hailing from London, UK, IRIDIUM are one of the most exciting new names in modern metalcore. Combining razor-sharp riffs and crushing breakdowns with atmospheric electronics and emotionally charged songwriting, the band has forged a sound that is both dynamic and forward-thinking. Their blend of technical precision, introspective lyricism, and uncompromising heaviness has quickly earned them a dedicated and rapidly growing fanbase.

Following the release of their EP HELL IS JUST A HALFWAY HOUSE earlier this year, IRIDIUM have surpassed 115,000 monthly Spotify listeners and amassed more than three million streams worldwide. Now, the band embarks on an exciting new chapter by signing with Napalm Records and unleashing "ENDGAME," their first single for the label.

IRIDIUM about the signing:
"We are delighted to be working with Napalm Records. Napalm is renowned for its exceptional roster of heavy bands, and we are honored to be joining such a highly regarded team. It has always been our ambition to push IRIDIUM as far as it can go, and it's fantastic to be working with a label that shares our vision for the band."

With "ENDGAME," IRIDIUM continue to evolve their sound, seamlessly blending technical precision with emotional depth. Progressive riffing collides with soaring melodies before erupting into crushing, pit-ready breakdowns, while acoustic guitars and haunting clean vocals bring the track to a reflective close. Lyrically, "ENDGAME" explores existentialism, questioning whether there is more to life in the face of human corruption. The result is the band's most ambitious and emotionally powerful material to date.

IRIDIUM comment about the single:
"Our first single with Napalm, "ENDGAME", takes the IRIDIUM sound further than ever before, combining our most technical riffs to date with the raw emotional energy established on HELL IS JUST A HALFWAY HOUSE. Touching on existentialism and grounded in personal experience, "ENDGAME" explores whether there can be more to life in the face of human corruption. This is a new chapter. The journey is just beginning."

Symphonic Metal Legends KAMELOT Unveil Video for Grandiose New Single "Godlike Alchemy"

KAMELOT reveal the second single from their forthcoming masterpiece, Dark Asylum, out August 28 via Napalm Records.

The grandiose "Godlike Alchemy" emerges larger than life with its soaring string arrangements accompanying frontman Tommy Karevik's goosebump-inducing wails. Dynamically expansive and rhythmically infectious, the band flawlessly oscillates between ornate and brutal, with Thomas Youngblood wielding some serious melodic firepower in the solo and breakdown department. Biblical atmosphere with an anthemic chorus, "Godlike Alchemy" sees KAMELOT firing from all cylinders.

Singer Tommy Karevik on "Godlike Alchemy":
"This song encapsulates the overarching theme of the Dark Asylum. What if you don't need to look outside of yourself to find peace and happiness... What if you already possess the power you need to heal and create the reality you want to see? What if we are all magical, powerful beings with unlimited potential? It's a mind boggling thought..."

Pre-Order Your Copy Of Dark Asylum NOW.

Check out the official video for "Godlike Alchemy" Below:

Set within a shadowed Neo Victorian-era world, Dark Asylum invites listeners beyond the gates of RavenHill Asylum — an imposing institution once built as a grand cathedral, now repurposed into a place where science, faith, and madness uneasily coexist.

KAMELOT pushes further into cinematic and atmospheric territory on Dark Asylum, diving deeper into theatrical darkness while preserving the signature hooks that define their sound. Candlelight trembles along towering arches and cold stone corridors as you are greeted familiar spectres: Avantasia mastermind Tobias Sammet, Eluveitie's Lea-Sophie Fischer, Visions of Atlantis' Clémentine Delauney, Decessus frontwoman and current reigning Miss World Chile champion Ignacia Fernández, Rannveig Sif Sigurðardóttir and Sólveig Sara Leupold, and Billy King! Identity fractures, reality bends, and control slips into unseen hands, guiding its central figure through a descent into psychological darkness that ultimately leads toward transformation… and perhaps sanctuary. From the cinematic sweep of "Ashen World" to the introspective depth of "Sanctuary," and the layered mystique of "Ivy, My Dear," Dark Asylum unfolds as a fully immersive journey, blending orchestral grandeur, haunting melodies, and theatrical storytelling into one cohesive vision.

Will you find sanctuary?

Or will you wander its halls for eternity?

FROZEN CROWN Release New Single "Reborn" + Video! — WATCH + LISTEN

Italian heavy power metal band FROZEN CROWN share the second single from their upcoming album, The Legend of the Six Kings, out October 2 via Napalm Records. "Reborn" is a powerful anthem of steadfastness as well as a bolstering tale about team spirit, perfectly encompassing the more narrative approach the band takes with their new album. With infinitely catchy "Reborn." FROZEN CROWN also show magnificent instrumental abilities through a majestic guitar solo.

Drummer Niso Tomasini about "Reborn":
"'Reborn' continues the narrative arc begun with 'The One,' with bright light manifesting a rebirth after dark. As Samwise Gamgee said, 'Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer.' On this track, vocalist Giada 'Jade' Etro's voice takes some melancholic shades in the verses that find a great contrast in the powerful and cheerful anthemic choruses, running on a more straightforward, hard-and-heavy-inspired rhythm. In the video clip, our director Raoul Noise captured the band’s new dark fantasy aesthetic on a clear white background, embracing the theme of frost while keeping FROZEN CROWN’s signature live-performance approach, showing the energy and the alchemy between the band members."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Reborn" Below:

FROZEN CROWN about The Legend of the Six Kings:
"With our sixth album—our second on Napalm Records—we continue our search for the quintessential FROZEN CROWN tune, distilling the key elements of our sound and style into increasingly concise and straightforward songs, stripping away all unnecessary frills.

"The Legend of the Six Kings draws directly from our debut album The Fallen King, continuing the saga of the Kings and the Tyrant, as we are—thanks to a brilliant newly extended team—finally able to do justice to what we had in mind with the original concept of the band. The visionary genius of Raoul Noise (the video maker behind all our new videos and band photos), the masterful craftsmanship of Daria Gislon (who designed and built the throne and the literal 'frozen crown') and of course the outstanding artistic talent of Sheila Franco (who hand painted our album cover art) gave life to the vibrant, obscure, frozen world we had in mind since the very beginning of the band, somewhere between J. R. R. Tolkien’s harmonious and regal aesthetics and Robert E. Howard's brutality.

"The Legend of the Six Kings brings not only new visuals, but also an empowered sound, with the young war hearts getting older on the battlefield and becoming an increasingly leading force of the Crown (with drummer and multi-instrumentalist Niso Tomasini becoming a more integral part of the songwriting together with singer Giada 'Jade' Etro and mastermind Federico Mondelli) and new warriors joining our ranks (Aleksandra Stamenkovic and her scorching, old school, abrasive guitar leads).

Arizona Rap Metal Unit DROPOUT KINGS Pay Homage to Late Frontman Adam Ramey on Emotional Video for "Brace Yourself"

Last year, trap metal progenitors DROPOUT KINGS dropped Yokai, the final record featuring enigmatic frontman Adam Ramey following his untimely passing. After bringing together a career spanning lineup of Kings current and past, the band took this celebration of Ramey's life on the road to share with fans as everyone tried to heal from the shock. Lauded by fans and critics alike, with Nu Metal Agenda stating that "the name Dropout Kings should be on more people’s lips, no matter what the band's next move may be," Yokai proved to be a unifying force to a hurting community. Today, the band releases an official music video for the track "Brace Yourself." A mixture of concert, home, and performance footage, the video tries to encapsulate all the wonderful aspects of Ramey's life as a member of the band, a member of a family, and a loving human being.

About the video, DROPOUT KINGS state:
"Music. Friendship. Purpose. For these reasons and many more, we come together as people. We find time to create, not just for ourselves, but in hopes it brings joy and inspiration to others. We struggle to express what we feel as we struggle in feeling it, pushing towards a light we aren't always sure is even there. Yet, the art has a way of compelling us to heal through the process of both sharing and listening. A way of making family out of strangers and dreams from suffering. New people we meet turn into old stories we tell as we grow closer together, becoming the best reminders of both where we came from and where we want to go. It's in this spirit that we ask you to look back with us at and share what made us who we are and our beloved King who started it all. Our brother, Adam Ramey. Brace Yourselves."

Order Your Copy Of Yokai NOW.

Watch the "Brace Yourself" video Below:

Yokai is more than an album – it's a legacy. Across its tracks, the influence of Adam's dynamic stage presence and lyrical authenticity resonates profoundly. The album channels the same heart‑pounding aggression and rap‑rock fusion that brought hits like "Virus" to the Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts, but with an added emotional depth that can only come from one final shared chapter.

DROPOUT KINGS said upon the announcement of the album:
"It's with an incredible mix of emotion and devotion that we announce the release of our new album, Yokai! However, so much more than just new music, this album is our greatest dedication to the late legend, new father and cherished brother, Adam Ramey. Not just entertainment, but a testimony to the ambition, struggle, pain and indomitable will that has made the Dropout Kings who they are. Not only a journey into the hearts and souls of the band during a time of their greatest loss as well as the experience of Trap Metal's evolution, but the soundtrack to the realization of dreams and the defeat of nightmares across the world. We ask that you listen, enjoy and join us in the mission of not just uplifting and remembering the spirit of one of the best men we'll ever know, but in creating a better world so that those like you, him and us can LIVE better and with brighter futures ahead."

MOONSPELL Announce North American Tour as Special Guests of CRADLE OF FILTH

Fresh off the release of their brand-new, internationally acclaimed studio album Far From God via Napalm Records, Portuguese gothic metal pioneers MOONSPELL have announced their long-awaited return to North America this fall as special guests of extreme metal legends CRADLE OF FILTH. The extensive U.S. and Canadian run will also feature WORM GLOOM and BLACK SATELLITE, bringing one of the season's most compelling dark and extreme metal packages to stages across the continent.

Armed with songs from their latest offering Far From God alongside fan favorites and timeless classics, MOONSPELL will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Irreligious, delivering a set that spans the band's remarkable career.

Fernando Ribeiro comments:
"Moonspell and Cradle of Filth, came a long way… We first played together in 1994 and since then we've sharing stages all around the globe. It's also our return to the North America and we sure want to make it count! Cradle is on a creative and touring roll so we’ll try to get ourselves some of their charm and deliver you amazing nights to the sound of our very own Portugal brand of Gothic Metal. We’ll be promoting our new album Far from God, the 30th anniversary or Irreligious and will go deep into our history and legacy. See you under the spell!"

Local Ticket Presales start on Thursday, July 16 at 10am local time
Public On Sale: Friday, July 17 at 10am local time

Released on July 3, 2026 via Napalm Records, Far From God has quickly established itself as one of MOONSPELL's most celebrated works to date. The album earned several international cover stories and entered the charts at #3 in Portugal, #19 in Austria, #27 in Germany, #46 in Switzerland, and reached #22 on the French Rock & Metal Albums Charts, underscoring both the band's enduring international appeal and the overwhelming response from fans and critics alike.

Born out of five years of creative searching, doubt and ultimate rediscovery, Far From God marks a powerful return for the band. Far from playing it safe, MOONSPELL deliver a work that feels like a rebirth: darker, sharper and emotionally unfiltered. Rather than bending to modern trends, the band double down on identity and substance, presenting a bold and beautiful statement of Gothic Metal in its purest essence: dark, romantic, dramatic and unapologetically heavy.

Far from God – produced with Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost, Sólstafir, Ghost among many others) – shines like a black diamond, luminous yet shadowed in texture and colour, both musically and sonically. It reconnects with the darker spirit of MOONSPELL's classic era while sounding powerful and contemporary. Far From God is not nostalgia; it is a statement. A Gothic Metal hallelujah. MOONSPELL's 21st century Irreligious. It's not only a powerful reminder that MOONSPELL remain a defining force in the genre they helped shape, but an album that truly saves Gothic Metal from boredom and predictability.

GLORYHAMMER Release Video for New Single "Ultimate Sacrifice"

Power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER share the first single off of their upcoming album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, coming October 16 via Napalm Records.

"Ultimate Sacrifice" is a sweeping track filled with epic storytelling. Elder God Kor-Virliath is back to conquer the universe after Zargothrax’s failed ritual, and the Space Kingdom of Fife seems forsaken. But GLORYHAMMER are ready to fight and tell the tale of one of the biggest battles yet — the choirs and orchestral arrangements of "Ultimate Sacrifice" are a first glimpse into the more diverse range of influences and higher production value that the band brings to their catchy songwriting on Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath. The new track is accompanied by an animated video directed by Alex Henderson. In the style of a TV series, it follows the summoning of Kor-Virliath and the heroes' quest to fight him – to the bitter end.

GLORYHAMMER about "Ultimate Sacrifice":
"Mighty warriors! Prepare for battles of galactic steel! Will Angus McFife V fulfill his dream of flying away on a unicorn? What was the true fate of the Hootsman after he imploded? Find out now, in the next episode of GLORYHAMMER!"

Watch the Animated Video for "Ultimate Sacrifice" Below:

The enemies of Dundee tremble as exalted power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER announce their long-awaited fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath! Due for release on October 16 via Napalm Records, the album is a direct sequel to 2015's Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, continuing the epic saga of the McFife dynasty. Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath follows Angus McFife V, the Crown Prince of Fife last seen in 2022's single "Fly Away," as he ventures into a perilous journey across spacetime that will lead him to the distant future of 1993, where his destiny lies.

Across 11 tracks, the band of heroes draws upon a more diverse range of influences than ever before, without ever compromising on the hook-driven, memorable songwriting that they are known for. From classic power metal to thrash, high energy synth rock to vast, sweeping orchestral soundscapes and more. Produced by the band themselves and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe), this is GLORYHAMMER as you've never heard them before.

Will Angus and his allies prevail in this titanic struggle? Or will the galaxy plunge into demonic chaos? Join GLORYHAMMER and find out – For the Eternal Glory of Dundee!

Multidimensional wormholes, abandoned space stations, and EPIC BATTLES await at the final frontier of Space 1993. FOR THE ETERNAL GLORY OF DUNDEE!"

AXTY Unleash New Single "who I am"

Today, Brazilian metalcore rising stars AXTY unveil the next look into their forthcoming Napalm Records debut album, The Pain Made Me Who I Am, out August 21 via Napalm Records. "who I am," the record's pummeling second track, leverages infectiously groovy riffage with some tasteful record scratching, factor in some inhuman growls, death slams, and a truly anthemic chorus and you have the makings of a certified nu-revival anthem.

Frontman Felipe Hervoso on "who I am":
"‘who I am' is probably one of our favorite songs we've ever written. It has everything we love packed into a single track: Catchy choruses, groovy guitar riffs and drum parts, some filthy deathcore animal noises, and to top it all off, a The Office meme that drops straight into a caveman breakdown at the end. 'who I am' also carries one of the most meaningful lyrics on the album. 2025 was a rough year for us, both personally and as a band. A lot changed. Some people tried to tear us down, but we made it through, and we'll keep coming back stronger, louder, and more determined than ever."

Watch the Official Music Video for "who I am" Below:

VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY Release Haunting Video For Album Title Track "Venceremos"

Greek heavy rock torchbearers VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY have unveiled an official music video for their monumental new single, "Venceremos," the powerful title track of their forthcoming studio album, set for release on September 18 via Napalm Records.

Standing at the emotional core of the record, "Venceremos" surges forward with dynamic shifts, crystal-clear vocal delivery, and a commanding crescendo that masterfully balances tension and release. Blending crushing heaviness with soaring bagpipe melodies and an unrelenting forward momentum, the epic title track captures the band's signature sound while delivering a powerful message of resilience, hope and perseverance.

The band comments:
""Venceremos" is a promise that even in the darkest moments, hope endures. 'Venceremos' isn't about winning; it's about refusing to break. It’s about resilience and overcoming fear, choosing to stand your ground, and believing that freedom, no matter how distant, it will come in the end."

Watch the haunting music video for "Venceremos" Below:

Set in a dystopian future shaped by illusion, control, and fear, Venceremos unfolds as a journey through exile, resistance and awakening. It follows those who rise against a broken world, rejecting gods and modern kings in order to reclaim freedom and meaning. Through struggles, hopes, fears, and deep reflections on existence, one truth remains constant: The quest is one, and its name is freedom.

Rather than bending to trends, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY sharpen their identity. The upcoming album presents itself as heavy, direct, and intense, driven by a raw and immediate energy. It leans decisively into heavy rock and metal, pushing into more aggressive territory while unfolding with a genuinely progressive spirit, where each composition evolves with purpose and depth.

Ritualistic rhythms, expansive arrangements, and traditional instrumentation such as bagpipes and zourna are not mere embellishments, but essential elements of the band's sonic language. Folk and Hellenic elements meet powerful riffs and dynamic structures in a sound that feels direct, distinctive and entirely their own.

Produced and recorded by Alex Karametis at Magnanimous X Studio in Greece, and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Venceremos captures clarity and depth in equal measure. With this release, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY deliver a powerful statement and a journey through darkness, defiance and the unbreakable force of rebellion. As one of the key names in post-stoner and heavy prog rock, the band once again reinforces their place within the scene, with Venceremos standing as a defining step in their ongoing evolution.

Pre-order Venceremos HERE.

In support of Venceremos, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY will play an album release show in Athens taking place on September 20 at the Lycabettus Theatre, one of the city's most legendary open-air venues, before the band embarks on a series of shows across Greece's major cities and an extensive European Tour in March 2027 with dates to be announced soon.
