"I originally composed 'The Vision of Dreaming' back in 2021, but it truly found its final form only now as we began working on it together with our new vocalist. It represents the lighter side of the album, but it still has a nice metal bite to it. I spent a great deal of time carefully crafting its sonic atmosphere. The foundation is built largely on carefully selected analog synthesizer sounds, combined with thoughtfully detailed arrangements. There's a clear touch of ABBA-like atmosphere in the song, yet at the same time, it has a fresh and heavier edge that makes it unmistakably part of our world."

"When I started working with our new singer, I felt the same kind of excitement I had years ago when I began creating our debut album back in 2007 and 2008. At that time, AMBERIAN DAWN were still newcomers to the band world, even though we were already experienced musicians. With Temptation's Gates, I felt that same spark of creating something new for the first time in a long while. I hadn't composed many songs yet when I began collaborating with our new vocalist. Most of the material came together surprisingly fast once I realized how easy and natural it was to work with her. I was deeply inspired by Nicole's enthusiasm, dedication, and efficiency. I truly feel that the band has been reborn with her joining us. Musically, our style has evolved once again, perhaps moving slightly back toward a heavier, more metal-driven direction. At the same time, elements of our classic sound and identity are naturally still present. In many ways, creating this album felt like going back to my roots. For the first time in a long while, I also took on a bigger role as a guitarist. I focused more on crafting guitar riffs, played roughly half of the guitar leads on the album, and even performed one full guitar solo myself."

Temptation's Gates is the first album I've sung on and recorded with AMBERIAN DAWN, and it has been a beautiful experience. While writing the lyrics, each song was inspired by feelings, memories, and moments that were especially prominent during the creation of the album. Writing the lyrics felt like diving into the subconscious, bringing these emotions to the surface. It was wonderful to explore the creative process of arranging the backing vocals. I especially love how AMBERIAN DAWN's music makes strong use of backing vocals, helping to create a fuller, richer sound around the lead vocals. "'Misanthrope River' was the first song written for this album. The initial idea goes back to the early days of Under a Godless Veil, but it remained dormant until work on this record began. It's an emotional gothic doom track- fairly minimalist, yet expansive in feel, with subtle touches that hint at post-metal and give the atmosphere a broader sense of depth. There's a suggestion of something ancient and mysterious running through it. Although interactive, at its core, the song deals with separation and isolation in a world where the larger truth has been kept from you and how those feelings slowly turn into resentment. You're pushing against the current wading upstream while doubting the way forward. In that struggle you'll be grasping at straws for any sense of peace while unintentionally shutting out the one closest to you. Shot in the Faroe Islands, the video places its actors within vast, striking landscapes. It was directed by Gaui H., the same director behind 'Cold Heavens.'"

"Promise You This" is one of our favorite songs on the new record, it’s just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen." 

Goliath wastes no time proving as massive as its name, with a sinister introduction opening "3111." Ode to owning one’s own volatility "Hostis Humani Generis" features a palpable lyrical delivery from Rob Dukes that cuts like crystal amid frenetic riffs, before rolling into "The Changing Me." The track’s introductory notes cascade into hair-raising rhythms, forming one of the band’s most anthemic offerings – blending menace and melody with the cleans of guest Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) together with Tom Hunting and at the end both Peter and Robb scream off the song. Harmonic dual axe acrobatics from resident guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. "Promise You This" incites mosh pit treachery with explosive energy, cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from Holt and Altus. Infected Rain Release Video For New Single "Stranger"

Moldovan modern metal force Infected Rain have released the official music video for their brand new single "Stranger." The track offers the first glimpse into the band's upcoming musical chapter and marks the beginning of a new creative phase for the group as it continues to evolve its sound.

Built around themes of identity, transformation, and inner conflict, "Stranger" dives deep into the moment of realizing you no longer fully recognize the person you have become, pairing introspective lyrics with driving rhythms and the band’s sharp, modern metal edge.

Vocalist Lena Scissorhands explains the inspiration behind the song: "'Stranger' came from the moment when you realize you don't fully recognize yourself anymore. It's an inward fight with identity, with the roles you've worn for too long, and the distance that grows between who you are and who you think you should be. In the end, it's about becoming strangers to ourselves, and trying to find the way back."

The release arrives just days before the band hits the road for the "Mutation Phase" tour across Europe and the UK, co-headlining alongside Butcher Babies. Eight years after Hegemony (2017), Swiss metal titans SAMAEL return with the powerful limited 12" maxi single vinyl Hidden Empire featuring their first new material in nearly a decade.
