MOONSPELL Announce North American Tour as Special Guests of CRADLE OF FILTH

Fresh off the release of their brand-new, internationally acclaimed studio album Far From God via Napalm Records, Portuguese gothic metal pioneers MOONSPELL have announced their long-awaited return to North America this fall as special guests of extreme metal legends CRADLE OF FILTH. The extensive U.S. and Canadian run will also feature WORM GLOOM and BLACK SATELLITE, bringing one of the season's most compelling dark and extreme metal packages to stages across the continent.

Armed with songs from their latest offering Far From God alongside fan favorites and timeless classics, MOONSPELL will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Irreligious, delivering a set that spans the band's remarkable career.

Fernando Ribeiro comments:
"Moonspell and Cradle of Filth, came a long way… We first played together in 1994 and since then we've sharing stages all around the globe. It's also our return to the North America and we sure want to make it count! Cradle is on a creative and touring roll so we’ll try to get ourselves some of their charm and deliver you amazing nights to the sound of our very own Portugal brand of Gothic Metal. We’ll be promoting our new album Far from God, the 30th anniversary or Irreligious and will go deep into our history and legacy. See you under the spell!"

Local Ticket Presales start on Thursday, July 16 at 10am local time
Public On Sale: Friday, July 17 at 10am local time

Released on July 3, 2026 via Napalm Records, Far From God has quickly established itself as one of MOONSPELL's most celebrated works to date. The album earned several international cover stories and entered the charts at #3 in Portugal, #19 in Austria, #27 in Germany, #46 in Switzerland, and reached #22 on the French Rock & Metal Albums Charts, underscoring both the band's enduring international appeal and the overwhelming response from fans and critics alike.

Born out of five years of creative searching, doubt and ultimate rediscovery, Far From God marks a powerful return for the band. Far from playing it safe, MOONSPELL deliver a work that feels like a rebirth: darker, sharper and emotionally unfiltered. Rather than bending to modern trends, the band double down on identity and substance, presenting a bold and beautiful statement of Gothic Metal in its purest essence: dark, romantic, dramatic and unapologetically heavy.

Far from God – produced with Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost, Sólstafir, Ghost among many others) – shines like a black diamond, luminous yet shadowed in texture and colour, both musically and sonically. It reconnects with the darker spirit of MOONSPELL's classic era while sounding powerful and contemporary. Far From God is not nostalgia; it is a statement. A Gothic Metal hallelujah. MOONSPELL's 21st century Irreligious. It's not only a powerful reminder that MOONSPELL remain a defining force in the genre they helped shape, but an album that truly saves Gothic Metal from boredom and predictability.

GLORYHAMMER Release Video for New Single "Ultimate Sacrifice"

Power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER share the first single off of their upcoming album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, coming October 16 via Napalm Records.

"Ultimate Sacrifice" is a sweeping track filled with epic storytelling. Elder God Kor-Virliath is back to conquer the universe after Zargothrax’s failed ritual, and the Space Kingdom of Fife seems forsaken. But GLORYHAMMER are ready to fight and tell the tale of one of the biggest battles yet — the choirs and orchestral arrangements of "Ultimate Sacrifice" are a first glimpse into the more diverse range of influences and higher production value that the band brings to their catchy songwriting on Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath. The new track is accompanied by an animated video directed by Alex Henderson. In the style of a TV series, it follows the summoning of Kor-Virliath and the heroes' quest to fight him – to the bitter end.

GLORYHAMMER about "Ultimate Sacrifice":
"Mighty warriors! Prepare for battles of galactic steel! Will Angus McFife V fulfill his dream of flying away on a unicorn? What was the true fate of the Hootsman after he imploded? Find out now, in the next episode of GLORYHAMMER!"

Watch the Animated Video for "Ultimate Sacrifice" Below:

The enemies of Dundee tremble as exalted power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER announce their long-awaited fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath! Due for release on October 16 via Napalm Records, the album is a direct sequel to 2015's Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, continuing the epic saga of the McFife dynasty. Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath follows Angus McFife V, the Crown Prince of Fife last seen in 2022's single "Fly Away," as he ventures into a perilous journey across spacetime that will lead him to the distant future of 1993, where his destiny lies.

Across 11 tracks, the band of heroes draws upon a more diverse range of influences than ever before, without ever compromising on the hook-driven, memorable songwriting that they are known for. From classic power metal to thrash, high energy synth rock to vast, sweeping orchestral soundscapes and more. Produced by the band themselves and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe), this is GLORYHAMMER as you've never heard them before.

Will Angus and his allies prevail in this titanic struggle? Or will the galaxy plunge into demonic chaos? Join GLORYHAMMER and find out – For the Eternal Glory of Dundee!

GLORYHAMMER about the new album:
"Mighty warriors, rejoice! The almighty GLORYHAMMER return triumphantly with a new chapter in the long and tumultuous history of the Intergalactic Empire of Fife. Multidimensional wormholes, abandoned space stations, and EPIC BATTLES await at the final frontier of Space 1993. FOR THE ETERNAL GLORY OF DUNDEE!"

AXTY Unleash New Single "who I am"

Today, Brazilian metalcore rising stars AXTY unveil the next look into their forthcoming Napalm Records debut album, The Pain Made Me Who I Am, out August 21 via Napalm Records. "who I am," the record's pummeling second track, leverages infectiously groovy riffage with some tasteful record scratching, factor in some inhuman growls, death slams, and a truly anthemic chorus and you have the makings of a certified nu-revival anthem.

Frontman Felipe Hervoso on "who I am":
"‘who I am' is probably one of our favorite songs we've ever written. It has everything we love packed into a single track: Catchy choruses, groovy guitar riffs and drum parts, some filthy deathcore animal noises, and to top it all off, a The Office meme that drops straight into a caveman breakdown at the end. 'who I am' also carries one of the most meaningful lyrics on the album. 2025 was a rough year for us, both personally and as a band. A lot changed. Some people tried to tear us down, but we made it through, and we'll keep coming back stronger, louder, and more determined than ever."

Watch the Official Music Video for "who I am" Below:

With their new album, AXTY explore universal lyrical themes of self-evolution through harnessing pain and resilience born from adversity, transforming negative experiences into fuel for growth. Moments of barbarism and serenity all tied together with infectious grooves, pristine production, and an unwavering dedication to brutality. Throughout its 12 tracks, The Pain Made Me Who I Am proves AXTY as a visionary force to watch in the ever-expanding modern metalcore scene — inarguably poised for star status as they climb the ranks.

AXTY about The Pain Made Me Who I Am:
"The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are."

Get Your Copy Of The Pain Made Me Who I Am NOW!

The Pain Made Me Who I Am delivers the goods from note one as earth-shattering intro track "pain made me" pulls out all of the stops — crashing in with dense down-tuned guitar chugs beneath hip-hop charged samples. Anthemic "who I am" showcases the band's seamless, genre-pushing blend with intense polyrhythmic deathcore passages and soaring metalcore melodies, while tracks like "all I love" incite pure metallic violence with the band’s erratic trademark guitar acrobatics, hypnotic drum patterns and addictive vocals — both crushing and clean — showcasing the broad talents of frontman Felipe Hervoso, drummer Gabriel Vacari, and guitarist Jonathas Peschiera. Particularly, Hervoso's keen ability to dramatically tilt his vocal approach from crooning cleans to virtually superhuman screams, growls and squeals will have his name on the lips of deathcore vocal enthusiasts in no time. Songs like "nothing but pain" inject heavy doses of the futuristic metalcore fusion AXTY has become lauded for, while album standouts like first single/album closer "end this" weave alternative and even nu-metal flavor into the album's addictive mix.

VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY Release Haunting Video For Album Title Track "Venceremos"

Greek heavy rock torchbearers VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY have unveiled an official music video for their monumental new single, "Venceremos," the powerful title track of their forthcoming studio album, set for release on September 18 via Napalm Records.

Standing at the emotional core of the record, "Venceremos" surges forward with dynamic shifts, crystal-clear vocal delivery, and a commanding crescendo that masterfully balances tension and release. Blending crushing heaviness with soaring bagpipe melodies and an unrelenting forward momentum, the epic title track captures the band's signature sound while delivering a powerful message of resilience, hope and perseverance.

The band comments:
""Venceremos" is a promise that even in the darkest moments, hope endures. 'Venceremos' isn't about winning; it's about refusing to break. It’s about resilience and overcoming fear, choosing to stand your ground, and believing that freedom, no matter how distant, it will come in the end."

Watch the haunting music video for "Venceremos" Below:

Set in a dystopian future shaped by illusion, control, and fear, Venceremos unfolds as a journey through exile, resistance and awakening. It follows those who rise against a broken world, rejecting gods and modern kings in order to reclaim freedom and meaning. Through struggles, hopes, fears, and deep reflections on existence, one truth remains constant: The quest is one, and its name is freedom.

Rather than bending to trends, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY sharpen their identity. The upcoming album presents itself as heavy, direct, and intense, driven by a raw and immediate energy. It leans decisively into heavy rock and metal, pushing into more aggressive territory while unfolding with a genuinely progressive spirit, where each composition evolves with purpose and depth.

Ritualistic rhythms, expansive arrangements, and traditional instrumentation such as bagpipes and zourna are not mere embellishments, but essential elements of the band's sonic language. Folk and Hellenic elements meet powerful riffs and dynamic structures in a sound that feels direct, distinctive and entirely their own.

Produced and recorded by Alex Karametis at Magnanimous X Studio in Greece, and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Venceremos captures clarity and depth in equal measure. With this release, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY deliver a powerful statement and a journey through darkness, defiance and the unbreakable force of rebellion. As one of the key names in post-stoner and heavy prog rock, the band once again reinforces their place within the scene, with Venceremos standing as a defining step in their ongoing evolution.

Pre-order Venceremos HERE.

In support of Venceremos, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY will play an album release show in Athens taking place on September 20 at the Lycabettus Theatre, one of the city's most legendary open-air venues, before the band embarks on a series of shows across Greece's major cities and an extensive European Tour in March 2027 with dates to be announced soon.

Walls of Jericho Announce Album "System Error: Humanity" + Share "The Ascent" Video

Metalcore would not exist in its current form without Detroit legends WALLS OF JERICHO.  With genre defining records like 1999's The Bound Feed The Gagged and 2004's All Hail The Dead captivating the underground scene and establishing the model, they went on to break through charts globally with With Devils Amongst Us All, The American Dream, and No One Can Save You From Your Self thoroughly cementing their prestige.

After years of gigging relentlessly, decimating prestigious stages at Louder Than Life, Hellfest, Tied Down, and Furnace Fest amongst others, they finally return with a new studio offering, System Error: Humanity, dropping November 13 via Napalm Records. Pummeling, confrontational, and uplifting, WALLS OF JERICHO remain steadfast to the values and sound  their legacy was built on.

Frontwoman Candace Buckingham on System Error: Humanity:
"System Error: Humanity is a raw, unapologetic, and most aggressive record to date. We set out  to capture the chaos, intensity, and raw energy of our live show rather than chase perfection. Lyrically, it's a rebellion against the modern forces that fracture identity: comparison, conformity,  distraction, and the endless pressure to perform instead of live. At its core, this album is about reclaiming your attention, owning your choices, and becoming who you were before the world told you who to be. Kill the noise. Reclaim yourself."

Alongside the album announcement, the band unleashes the menacing first single "The Ascent." Tense from its opening notes, the track hurls discordant breakdowns at the listener, leaning on dissonant chugs with glacial weight guaranteed to kick you back a reading level.

Candace continues on "The Ascent":
"'The Ascent' is a crushing blend of dissonant riffs, massive  breakdowns, and raw intensity. Lyrically, it's about confronting yourself one hard truth at a time, shedding ego, silencing the noise, and discovering that real strength isn't found at the summit, but in the discipline and honesty it takes to climb. Because growth begins where comfort ends."

Bay Area Thrash Legends HEATHEN Celebrate Iron Maiden's 50th Anniversary With Incendiary Cover of "The Prisoner"

Quickly following their triumphant returning single "Never A God" earlier this year, Bay Area thrash legends HEATHEN break back out with another offering.

In celebration of the mighty Iron Maiden's 50th anniversary, HEATHEN have taken a stab at the Number of The Beast classic, "The Prisoner." Pulling samples from the TV show of the same name, enlisting artist Dan Goldsworthy (known for his work with Accept, Inhuman Condition, and Haken) to Eddie-ify the goblin from "Goblin's Blade"—a callback to their HEATHEN's 1987 record Breaking The Silence—and reworking their logo to look like Maiden's, HEATHEN pull out all the stops to ensure this was more than just homage. Mixed and mastered by Zeuss at Planet Z (known for his work with 3 Inches of Blood, Municipal Waste, and Shadows Fall, amongst others), the lively track showcases HEATHEN's studied reverence of the subject material, unleashing metal greatness with a modern edge and seasoned orchestration.

About the track guitarist Kragen Lum says:
"What can we say about the legendary Iron Maiden that hasn't already been said? They've given us 50 years of energetic, melodic metal that's inspired Heathen and legions of other bands in the genre. 'The Prisoner' was an easy choice for us to cover, with its heavy intro, uptempo verses, catchy chorus, and classic instrumental section. We added a few touches to 'Heathenize' the song while staying true to what made it so great when it was first released in 1982. Enjoy this recording as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of heavy metal's greatest bands. Up the Irons!"

This cover comes right in time for the band's extensive North American tour encompassing two legs. The first opening for fellow thrash greats Metal Church, followed by a string of headlining dates over Louisiana horror thrashers Void. Kicking off July 17 in Derry, NH the tour supporting Metal Church will hit a series of major cities including Montreal, QC, Pittsburgh, PA, and Rochester, NY before its conclusion July 26 in Leesburg, VA. Not missing a beat, HEATHEN picks up Void for their headline run kicking off the next day in Raleigh, NC on July 27. The headline run will hit a slew of intimate venues in major cities including Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA, Milwaukee, WI, and Detroit, MI before wrapping up on August 9 in Toronto, ON.

About the tour the band says:
"We're stoked to join the legendary Metal Church on this short tour of the Northeastern U.S. and Canada. We'll be bringing our A-game for these shows before heading out on a run of headlining dates across the Midwest, Northeast, and Canada with the killer Void as direct support. We've put together a set packed with classics, fan favorites, and a few surprises that you won’t want to miss. Grab your tickets, and we'll see you in the pit!"

Heavy Metal Pioneers Accept Release Re-Recorded "Balls to the Wall" Plus Video

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT release another single off of their upcoming new album masterpiece, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, produced, mixed and mastered by the legendary Zeuss. They have teamed up with "Metal God" Rob Halford and guitar icon Matthias Jabs for an explosive new rendition of the genre classic, "Balls to the Wall." Serving as the second single from their massive 50th-anniversary celebratory album, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, this track perfectly illustrates the band's half-century legacy. Dropping September 4 via Napalm Records, this tight and powerful release delivers a vital blow that proves ACCEPT are as relevant as ever. Featuring 19 timeless songs and more than 50 legendary guest artists, the album culminates in an unforgettable moment as the Metal God himself joins the band on the iconic anthem "Balls to the Wall." The all-star metal supergroup they gathered is another powerful look into the album celebrating both the band's extraordinary 50-year legacy and the heavy metal genre they helped shape itself.

Wolf Hoffmann about "Balls to the Wall":
"Rob is the Metal God. I don't need to say any more about him. Once we knew that he would do it, it was an obvious choice to give him ‘Balls to the Wall' because it's the best fit imaginable! I played all the rhythm guitars. Matthias Jabs from Scorpions played the solo, which is very cool and a huge honor, and it's Rex Brown on bass and Jason Bowld on drums. So that's a really cool package."

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT celebrate 50 years of pure power, bringing together the scene's A-list musicians for a landmark release. Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 stands as a definitive statement of the band's legacy, forged in steel and driven by unmistakable riffs. Arriving September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records, the album delivers some of the most iconic songs ever written in heavy music.

Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the longtime architect of ACCEPT's sound, the band is joined by a staggering 50 guests across 19 reimagined versions of their biggest tracks. Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 is ACCEPT's most ambitious and star-studded release to date, reaching far beyond the borders of their country of origin. Featuring the biggest names in heavy music paying tribute to the German icons, the record cements the band's standing on the global stage. This is more than an album; it is a manifesto of metal! Pre-orders are now available in various exclusive formats.

Wolf Hoffmann about Teutonic Titans 1976-2026:
"There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the World. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it."

Progressing through albums from their formative years, from I'm a Rebel (1980) to Eat the Heat (1989), ACCEPT present their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, alongside the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann's unmistakable riffs. By enlisting a "Who's Who" of metal, no two songs on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 are the same. Every track features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, giving each classic a fresh edge.

Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on the track "Save Us" (I'm a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee tear through the speed metal classic "Fast As A Shark" (Restless and Wild, 1982). "Balls to the Wall" surges with the powerful range of Metal God Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs, while the reimagined "Love Child" is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both songs from Balls to the Wall, 1983).

Other guest stars on ACCEPT's extraordinary release include Sebastian Bach, Gary Holt, Phil Demmel, Chuck Billy, Joe Lynn Turner, Jeff Scott Soto, John Bush, Frank Bello, John Norum, and Bumblefoot. The album also features a re-recording of "Hellhammer" (Eat the Heat, 1989), performed by ACCEPT's current lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse and drummer Christopher Williams, joined by Jason McMaster on vocals.

Hard Rockers NESTOR Unleash Live Version of "Firesign" + Plus Blazing Music Video

Swedish AOR-influenced hard rock band NESTOR reveal the next single off the upcoming live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studios (out August 14 via Napalm Records)! The band brings the heat with a live rendition of their track "Firesign," originally from the 2021 debut album Kids in a ghost town, which was nominated for a Swedish Hard Rock/Metal Grammis Award. Catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily '80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals.

NESTOR entered charts internationally with their 2024 studio offering Teenage Rebel (including #12 on Official German Album Charts and #19 in Sweden), and the band has played to ecstatic live audiences from Europe to the U.S. and Japan. With Live at Gothenburg Film Studios fans around the world finally get to experience NESTOR's exciting live energy also on record. "Firesign" arrives with a striking live video, offering another taste of even the special Blu-ray edition that will be included in one of the album formats. Check it out below and make sure to pre-order your copy!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"Where the flames meet the sky! 'Firesign' is always a highlight when we play it live and it has some kind of energy that is hard to put your finger on. Turn it up - break the rules and follow the Firesign wherever it leads."

Watch the Live Video for "Firesign" Below":

Live at Gothenburg Film Studios treats fans old and new to a hefty selection of live versions of future classics from NESTOR's celebrated catalogue. The band brings the heat with a new rendition of the track "Firesign" (originally from Kids in a ghost town, 2021) — catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily '80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals. The nostalgia-drenched following track "Teenage Rebel" (title track of the latest studio album, 2024) gets audiences singing along without a failure with its irresistible chorus that is accompanied with emotion-loaded melodies and massive riffs. Further highlights of this extensive, 16-track offering include a live rendition of one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date, "On The Run" (also from the praised debut Kids in a ghost town, 2021).

This comprehensive live album, available even as a DVD, draws from NESTOR's impressive repertoire of arena-worthy anthems and rock ballads, polished with the very best AOR and classic '80s rock influences. Without a doubt, NESTOR continue their steady mission to restore the glory of rock!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"When I listen to Live at Gothenburg Film Studios, it becomes clear to me that it shows everything that NESTOR was about, from the beginning. A live performance with all the little quirks and mistakes that makes it human, a thing that I have learned to love even more in an era of AI-generated music. Live at Gothenburg Film Studios is less clinical and more of a human experience in comparison to our studio albums and shows a different side of NESTOR. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did recording it up on stage."

Symphonic Metal Legends KAMELOT Unveil Triumphant New Single "Ashen World"

Recently, international symphonic metal legends KAMELOT announced their haunting new album Dark Asylum, arriving August 28 via Napalm Records. They give fans their first peek into the twisting hallways of RavenHill Asylum with "Ashen World," a triumphant, cinematic, and epic anthem.

From its very first note, "Ashen World" launches with unmistakable KAMELOT grandeur, propelled by founding guitarist Thomas Youngblood's expressive lead work, soaring orchestration, and the rich symphonic arrangements that have become the band's hallmark. The track embodies everything fans have come to love about KAMELOT; cinematic darkness, unforgettable melodies, and a towering anthemic chorus, while introducing fresh textures and unexpected twists that expand the band's sonic landscape.

With countless dynamic shifts, vocalist Tommy Karevik showcases the full breadth of his remarkable range, effortlessly moving from intimate, haunting passages to his signature soaring power. Adding another layer of atmosphere, Decessus frontwoman and reigning Miss Chile Ignacia Fernández makes an ethereal vocal appearance that intertwines beautifully with the song's haunting mood, as "Ashen World" tells the story of a world descending into darkness while never losing sight of hope, resilience, and redemption.

Thomas Youngblood on "Ashen World":
"Ashen World" captures that moment of standing at the crossroads between darkness and hope, where the journey forward begins. It's classic KAMELOT at its core, while opening new doors into the world of Dark Asylum."

Tommy Karevik on "Ashen World":
"It's a deep dive into the topography of the human mind, exploring its valleys, peaks, and the void in between. It's about breaking free from the limiting beliefs that hold us captive and creating a new reality that allow us to expand and realize our full potential."

Pre-Order Your Copy Of Dark Asylum NOW.

Watch the "Ashen World" video below.

Set within a shadowed Neo Victorian-era world, Dark Asylum invites listeners beyond the gates of RavenHill Asylum — an imposing institution once built as a grand cathedral, now repurposed into a place where science, faith, and madness uneasily coexist.

KAMELOT pushes further into cinematic and atmospheric territory on Dark Asylum, diving deeper into theatrical darkness while preserving the signature hooks that define their sound. Candlelight trembles along towering arches and cold stone corridors as you are greeted familiar spectres: Avantasia mastermind Tobias Sammet, Eluveitie's Lea-Sophie Fischer, Visions of Atlantis' Clémentine Delauney, Decessus frontwoman and current reigning Miss World Chile champion Ignacia Fernández, Rannveig Sif Sigurðardóttir and Sólveig Sara Leupold, and Billy King! Identity fractures, reality bends, and control slips into unseen hands, guiding its central figure through a descent into psychological darkness that ultimately leads toward transformation… and perhaps sanctuary. From the cinematic sweep of "Ashen World" to the introspective depth of "Sanctuary," and the layered mystique of "Ivy, My Dear," Dark Asylum unfolds as a fully immersive journey, blending orchestral grandeur, haunting melodies, and theatrical storytelling into one cohesive vision.

Will you find sanctuary?

Or will you wander its halls for eternity?

Always committed to bringing their worlds beyond the studio, KAMELOT will take RavenHill Asylum on the road this fall with the immersive Dark Asylum World Tour, spanning North America and Europe. Once you step inside RavenHill… there is no turning back.

TEMPERANCE Announce New Album "Arcani" Out 10/16

Italian symphonic power metallers TEMPERANCE reshuffle the pack with their seventh album, Arcani, coming October 16 via Napalm Records. Structured around the divinatory practice of Tarot, each of the new songs follows a different card of the Major Arcana deck. Pouring their passion into 13 spellbinding songs with even catchier symphonic melodies than before, TEMPERANCE's bright future takes shape on Arcani.

Along with the announcement, TEMPERANCE release the first single from the upcoming album. "The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin" showcases dramatic instrumentation. Focusing on the sinister Devil card, the fifteenth trump of the Major Arcana, it features a dark undertone, in which the catchy chorus and the full vocal power of the melodic metal masters' multiple singers truly shine.

Marco Pastorino about "The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin":
"We've decided to begin our journey into the world of Arcani with a brand-new metal anthem for our upcoming setlists. 'Sin, Sin, Sin' embodies The Devil card, opening the gates to the world of Tarot within the context of TEMPERANCE. Are you ready to fall into sin?"

Their first trump comes in the shape of "The Fool." Just like the card has uniqueness in Tarot through being unnumbered or assigned 0, Arcani's opening song takes a special role through the lack of a subtitle. Paving the way for the album, TEMPERANCE have their trademark grand sound take shape in uplifting melodies and powerful duet vocals. For "The Magician: Into the Fire," male vocals take the lead, the blazing anthem further unfolding the potential of the magical record. The emotive mid-tempo track "Death: Right Before We Die," introduced by gentle keyboard melodies and fleshed out by impressively high notes, draws from a personal experience the band members shared. "The Tower: Lean Into Fear" takes the form of a hard rock song — an entirely new facet in TEMPERANCE's musical universe. Its Tarot paragon being a symbol of chaos and catastrophe as well as liberation, it is the perfect song for Kristin Starkey to show her roaring versatility. "The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin" picks up on its predecessor’s dark undertone, using it for a dramatic composition with an incomparably rousing chorus in which the Italian masters of modern melodic metal truly shine. Following, the quintet unveils a quasi-self-titled track with "Temperance: Forgiveness."

TEMPERANCE turn the virtue card into a well-balanced, encouraging song, claiming, "Another day is coming," before presenting theirs with the triumphant "The Chariot: Alla Ricerca dell’America" (Engl. "in search of America"), which adds both Italian lyrics, and a Swedish line honoring Starkey's chosen home, as well as more operatic singing to Arcani. The collectively catchy "Justice: Balance" portrays a similarly victorious sentiment, before the hopeful "The Star: Surrender Control" has TEMPERANCE move back to contrasting their vocalists. Introduced by electronic melodies, "Wheel of Fortune: Come and Call Me" comes in fast and forceful — fierce change once again matching the symbolism behind the eponymous card. Much calmer, "The Moon: The Man of Moonlight" harmonizes hidden danger through enticing instrumentation and strong vocals, before the intense "The Hanged Man: Petrichor" turns from acoustic guitars to heavy extraordinaire, from metal to opera, pulling together the numerous different styles the five-piece is capable of executing without the "pitture infamante's sacrifice. "The World," much like "The Fool," stands out in its title, but also as a song itself: The closing track is an acoustic guitar track with predominantly female vocals, mirroring the Major Arcana's final card in its feeling of success. With it, TEMPERANCE wrap up Arcani with a special feeling of overarching finality while still looking ahead.

Dominum Release Upcoming Album's Title Track "Night is Calling" | Album Out Friday!

Nearing the release of their third album, Night Is Calling, rising modern metal stars DOMINUM are sharing the title track as another single. "Night Is Calling" combines thunderous riffs, cinematic atmosphere, and another massive sing-along hook to pull listeners into the captivating world of Dr. Dead. The dark yet uplifting track features a powerful guest appearance from Marina La Torracaof Battle Beast, giving DOMINUM's whizkid catalog another highlight. Theatrics, horror aesthetics, and arena-ready choruses make for another brilliant release.

With their sophomore studio album, The Dead Don't Die (2024), DOMINUM, led by mastermind and singer Felix Heldt — better known as Dr. Dead — stormed into the top 10 of the German charts. Together with his zombies, Tommy Kemp(guitars), Patient 0 (bass), and Victor Hilltop (drums) — DOMINUM have already taken this undead spectacle to major stages across Europe. Touring alongside icons such as Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Battle Beast, and Peyton Parrish, the band has proven its strength both at major festivals and during their own headline shows.

Night is Calling releases this Friday, July 3rd, via Napalm Records. DOMINUM are playing album release show at Rockharz Festival and in Wacken.

Dr. Dead comments on "Night is Calling":
"I can do what I want. But I cannot want what I want. The story of my life. Night is calling. Always. It creeps in softly at first, like a whisper you almost don't notice. Then it wraps itself around your thoughts — pulling, tempting, seducing. A darkness that feels familiar, that feels like home… and yet, it corrodes.
I try to resist. I try to fight. I always do. But every shadow, every quiet hour, every lonely moment… it reminds me that I am never truly free. Night is calling. And I answer, again and again."

Watch the official music video for "Night is Calling" Below:

DOMINUM open the next chapter of their dark, theatrical universe with their new full-length Night Is Calling. With their bombastic sound and outstanding stage presence, the band continues its rapid ascent on the international metal scene, without losing sight of its strengths: theatrical, melodic, and uncompromising modern metal — driven by the dark charisma of Dr. Dead and his zombies. One thing is certain: The Living Dead Squad continues to grow.

Night Is Calling is now available for pre-order, with selected formats including the bonus album Live at Wacken 2025.

Dr. Dead on Night is Calling:
"They grow up so fast." – Ugh. It makes me sick. And now I feel it myself: My zombies have grown up. Our creation… has grown up too. But unlike the pitiful rest, we don't mourn our childhood. No. We revel in who we are. Being a child, being an adult — what does that even mean? — the world lies at our feet, and we can do whatever we damn well please. Believe me from firsthand experience: An army of zombies makes everything a hell of a lot easier… and way more fun with every bit of trouble getting the punch it deserves. We have the power to reshape our world. And oh, we do. 'Night is Calling' — This is our outlet. Stronger melodies, heavier riffs, sharper, unflinching lyrics — honesty as our deadliest weapon. We are who we are. And you… you're in this whether you like it or not. The undead are on the march, more relentless than ever. Join us – immediately, willingly… or a little later when we come to your neighborhood. Either way… we'll be seeing you — Dr. Dead."

Produced by Felix Heldt and mixed by renowned producer Jacob Hansen, Night is Calling expands the band's sonic universe with even heavier riffs, bigger choruses and cinematic drama. The explosive opener "The Circus Is In Town" throws listeners straight into DOMINUM's twisted carnival, while infectious anthems such as "Doctor Doctor" and "Dark Melodies" deliver massive hooks destined to echo across festival crowds. The powerful title track "Night is Calling" (Feat. Battle Beast) further highlights the band's growing presence on the international metal stage.

Moonspell Release Lyric Video For "The Great Wolf in the Sky"

Just days before the release of their critically acclaimed new studio album Far From God, Portuguese gothic metal icons MOONSPELL have unveiled a lyric video for their latest single, "The Great Wolf in the Sky." The track showcases the band's unmistakable blend of dark atmospheres, soaring melodies and emotional intensity, offering another compelling glimpse into what promises to be one of the band's most celebrated records to date.

With "The Great Wolf in the Sky," MOONSPELL unveil a sweeping Gothic anthem driven by expansive keys, harmonized guitars, striking vocals and a guest appearance by Alicia Nuhro on strings. The charismatic frontman Fernando Ribeiro reveals: "It's a shameless ode to the great gig in the sky and also a return for us to a theme that is very dear to us: Wolves. This is one of my favorite songs ever for Moonspell, the keyboards sound like a melancholic wolf howling throughout the progress of the song into its epic chorus, that I feel so liberating, like if one took flight to the stars and met that wolf up there. It's one of the first songs that was written for this album and it has been gently nurtured for over 3 years or so. It tells the story of Moonspell, of the wolves who crossed our paths and went away from the pack, due to life circumstances of the inevitability of death. It bridges the many times of Moonspell, past, present, and future and it has the shape of a new anthem that we do hope our fans embrace. It's also dedicated to a fan and a friend who, unfortunately, passed away before he could hear our new album."

The new lyric video is viewable/listenable Below:

Born out of five years of creative searching, doubt and ultimate rediscovery, their forthcoming album marks a powerful return for the band.

Thematically, Far From God moves through Baudelairian love, existential guilt and redemption, Christ-like resurrections, and the quiet nobility of creatures of the night. Vampires, werewolves, and sacred symbolism are not escapism here, but vehicles for genuine dark emotion: Solemn, romantic and unfiltered. The album rejects artificial gloss in favour of fantasy grounded in sincerity, rediscovering the heart of Gothic Metal in its most authentic form.

Speaking about the inspiration behind Far From God, Ribeiro explains: "The title resonates how we have all strayed from our path into the direction of the fool’s gold instead of genuine dark feelings and their deep and solemn transmission into the light via music and lyrics and art. I won't dare to say it's the best album we ever did. I'm too old, too wise, and too scarred by people not noticing the talent that Moonspell has to conjure the melodies of dark with elegance and wit. I can only say that we fell in love again with the prospect of our new music and that it took us more than five years to travel this deep into ourselves, just to surface before your eyes with our new album. We were not only inspired, we were touched by a muse and it was her who brought us here, to this musical redemption, to this artful statement of true gothic metal. Moonspell has been our only true influence for this one."

Far from God — produced with Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost, Sólstafir, Ghost among many others) — shines like a black diamond, luminous yet shadowed in texture and color, both musically and sonically. It reconnects with the darker spirit of MOONSPELL's classic era while sounding powerful and contemporary. Far From God is not nostalgia; it is a statement. A Gothic Metal hallelujah. MOONSPELL's 21st century Irreligious. It's not only a powerful reminder that MOONSPELL remain a defining force in the genre they helped shape, but an album that will truly save Gothic Metal from boredom and predictability.

Far From God will be released on July 3 via Napalm Records.

AMBERIAN DAWN Share "Moon" Video — WATCH + LISTEN

FIRST ALBUM WITH NEW SINGER NICOLE WILLERTON, TEMPTATION'S GATES, RELEASES JUNE 26 VIA NAPALM RECORDS — PRE-ORDER

Finnish symphonic metal band AMBERIAN DAWN push into their new era with an invocation to the "Moon." The fourth single off of their upcoming album, Temptation's Gates, shows yet another facet of their fresh sound, turning up the speed to blast beat intensity. Still, "Moon," which features prominent keyboard and guitar solos, remains magical up until its unexpected end. The final screams show the change the band is making with their new singer, Nicole Willerton—AMBERIAN DAWN are more determined than ever. The accompanying album, Temptation's Gates, will be out this coming Friday, June 26 —make sure to get your copy of their first step into the new era! Additionally, the band will play a record release show in Helsinki on June 28 at the official afterparty of Tuska Festival.

Tuomas Seppälä about "Moon":
"I composed this song just a few weeks after we had recruited our new vocalist. From the very beginning, it carried an exceptionally dark and haunting atmosphere, and I wanted to preserve that exact feeling throughout the entire process. For the first time in my career, I decided to introduce growling vocals into the arrangement. It felt completely natural in this song, and I knew Nicole could deliver it with the right intensity and emotion. It had been a long time since I last recorded a guitar solo myself, and stepping back into that role made the experience even more personal. This track captures a darker and more haunting side of our new era."

Nicole Willerton about "Moon":
"The song "Moon" is about finding hope, tranquility, and inner peace in a world filled with destruction, greed, and suffering. The moon serves as a guiding light and a symbol of beauty, reminding us that even when life feels overwhelming or full of misery, it's important to cherish the simple beauties of life, such as nature and the freedom of the spirit."

Watch the Official Music Video for "Moon" Below!

Rising from the home of symphonic metal are AMBERIAN DAWN: The Finnish five-piece is set to open Temptation's Gates, their new album, out on June 26 via Napalm Records. The band's first release with new singer Nicole Willerton takes them onto a more modern, occasionally even surprisingly rough path. With it, AMBERIAN DAWN, led by founder, guitarist, and main composer Tuomas Seppälä, slowly emancipate themselves from being "just" the band who—gloriously!—covered Swedish pop legends ABBA with their previous album, Take a Chance — A Metal Tribute to ABBA (2022).

Infusing their epic keyboard sounds with guitar-driven melodic metal, AMBERIAN DAWN reach into a world unknown and prove their versatility while their catchy anthems remain strong and charming as ever. Temptation's Gates has the band determined for a future sparkling temptingly bright — and they're ready to step through that gate.

Tuomas Seppälä about Temptation's Gates:
"When I started working with our new singer, I felt the same kind of excitement I had years ago when I began creating our debut album back in 2007 and 2008. At that time, AMBERIAN DAWN were still newcomers to the band world, even though we were already experienced musicians. With Temptation's Gates, I felt that same spark of creating something new for the first time in a long while. I hadn't composed many songs yet when I began collaborating with our new vocalist. Most of the material came together surprisingly fast once I realized how easy and natural it was to work with her. I was deeply inspired by Nicole's enthusiasm, dedication, and efficiency. I truly feel that the band has been reborn with her joining us. Musically, our style has evolved once again, perhaps moving slightly back toward a heavier, more metal-driven direction. At the same time, elements of our classic sound and identity are naturally still present. In many ways, creating this album felt like going back to my roots. For the first time in a long while, I also took on a bigger role as a guitarist. I focused more on crafting guitar riffs, played roughly half of the guitar leads on the album, and even performed one full guitar solo myself."

Nicole Willerton about Temptation's Gates:
"Temptation's Gates is the first album I've sung on and recorded with AMBERIAN DAWN, and it has been a beautiful experience. While writing the lyrics, each song was inspired by feelings, memories, and moments that were especially prominent during the creation of the album. Writing the lyrics felt like diving into the subconscious, bringing these emotions to the surface. It was wonderful to explore the creative process of arranging the backing vocals. I especially love how AMBERIAN DAWN's music makes strong use of backing vocals, helping to create a fuller, richer sound around the lead vocals. It's definitely a fiery album that combines a broad spectrum of emotional depths, ranging from love and melancholy to darker elements such as fear and inner struggles. A recurring message throughout the album is to embrace one’s true desires and to accept and acknowledge one’s honest feelings."

GLORYHAMMER Announce New Album!

The enemies of Dundee tremble as exalted power metal heroes GLORYHAMMER announce their long-awaited fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath! Due for release on October 16, via Napalm Records, the album is a direct sequel to 2015's Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, continuing the epic saga of the McFife dynasty.

GLORYHAMMER about the new album: "Mighty warriors, rejoice!

Ukrainian Modern Metal Upstarts IGNEA Announces New Studio Album!

Ukrainian modern metal four-piece IGNEA explore nostalgia in all its forms on their upcoming studio album, Monumental, set for release on October 23 via Napalm Records. Following Dreams of Lands Unseen (2023), the Ukrainian four-piece navigate through unique facets of the past across nine tracks — from the grandeur and ambition of Cold War space dreams to the melancholy of urban decay and forgotten modernist structures, all the way to the emotional weight of personal and collective memory. All lyrics on Monumental were written by vocalist Helle Bohdanova. The music was composed by keyboardist Yevhenii Zhytniuk, with additional contributions from Bohdanova. Mixing and mastering were handled by Grammy Award-nominated producer Jacob Hansen, known for his work with bands such as DELAIN, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, and Epica.

On Monumental, IGNEA take the listener on nostalgic rides, with all their ups and downs, expressed in music and lyrics, carrying a sense of gentle sadness and reflection, as nostalgia can bring back beautiful memories, darkened by the awareness that these moments will never happen again.

Helle Bohdanova says about Monumental:
"Back in the 17th century, nostalgia was considered a deadly disease—and in many ways, it still is. It's a universal feeling experienced by every human being, pulling us toward a past that felt gentler than it truly was, especially during the bitter moments of the present. Much of this album was inspired by modernist architecture — concrete giants built to signal progress and a brighter future, now slowly decaying. They've become a sort of memory box: Monuments to unrealized dreams, where the future that was once imagined never arrived, yet continues to echo through the ruins and bright mosaics."

DEVILDRIVER Unleash New Single "Dead In The Water" From Upcoming Album "Strike To Kill," Out 7/10 — LISTEN + PRE-ORDER

"Let the fire rise, you were born for this, stay the course" —Dez Fafara

The fans and critics have made their voices heard, DEVILDRIVER have leveled it up! In anticipation their rabid new album, Strike and Kill, out July 10 via Napalm Records, the groove metal legends first released the boisterous lead single "Dig Your Own Grave," cracking over 400k cross platform streams, becoming a mainstay on SXM's Liquid Metal, and stampeding up the Metal Contraband charts just a month after release.

If you know what's good for you, you'll pay close attention to the words on their next bloodthirsty ripper, "Dead In The Water" out today. This single is built upon cataclysmic blast beats and ornately blackened guitarmonies, delivering the good with vibrance and violence. Iconic frontman Dez Fafara's delivery remains venomous, galvanizing listeners with affirmations of perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity.

Dez on "Dead In The Water":
"This is one of the most positive songs I've ever written lyrically, coming from a very dark time straight into blinding light. I needed to empower others to do the same as I did, and tell them to 'stay the course,' life turns around if given the chance to flourish.

"The vibe musically on this is very old school DEVILDRIVER and the entire band is cracking hard here, if you're a long time listener you're gonna love this one! Enjoy!"

Pre-order your copy of Strike and Kill  NOW!

Following DEVILDRIVER's career defining double album Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2 —with Vol. 1 sitting at #1 at metal radio for a triumphant 15 weeks, and Vol. 2 celebrated by internationally revered media like Metal Injection, Kerrang!, and Blabbermouth, who lauded "you can't stop the unstoppable"— the band sets out on a rabid hunt with Strike and Kill, holding the blade to your throat, and serving up that trademark DEVILDRIVER blend of melodeath elegance, blackened atmosphere, tectonic grooves, and Fafara's iconic visceral delivery.

Wasting no time, the album bursts open with the incendiary "Dig Your Own Grave," a flurry of assault rifle kicks and crunchy riffs encircle the listener casting them into the waiting abyss before transitioning into "Dead in the Water," showcasing the vibrant melodeath tapestries of master guitar duo Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold. "Sanctified In Scars" implements industrial pulsating beats and ethereal sonic textures, sanctifying Fafara's venomous voice with blackened tremolo excellence. The album’s title track "Strike and Kill" is a reconciliation of hardships and lessons learned, built upon the backs of blisteringly technical riffage and dizzyingly swift drumming by Davier Perez. Tracks like "In the Moonlight" and "Never Coming Home" wrap listeners in serenely blissful guitarmonies, elevating the brutality with elegance and emotion. "Ride or Die" unleashes pure metal inertia, pulling listeners in with unrelenting force. Exemplifying their technical edge with tracks like “Headed for the Fall” and "You’re just a Ghost," the band embraces mind-bendingly off-kilter patterns that spin listeners' heads. "Summoning Shadows" offers the albums longest respite from carnage, with textured acoustic guitars building tension before the band comes crashing back in with triumphant power. "Shut the Silence On" and "Oath of Iron" get super thrashy with their ballsy riffage and blast beats, before "All Bets are Off" brings things to a cataclysmic conclusion.

Hard Rock Force NESTOR Reveal Live Rendition of "On The Run" — LISTEN + WATCH

Melodic hard rockers NESTOR unleash the first single from the upcoming live album, Live at Gothenburg Film Studios (out August 14 via Napalm Records) with nostalgic "On The Run!" The studio version, released on the celebrated debut album Kids in a ghost town (2021), counts as one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date and has gathered millions of streams. Now, the band's captivating live energy meets the song's epic AOR-inspired keys and guitars — and one of their possibly catchiest singalong-choruses so far.

Originally formed in 1989, NESTOR broke into the international rock scene with the band's comeback and debut album in 2021, immediately gaining critical praise and massive live opportunities. The acclaimed hard rock force has played alongside iconic acts like Kiss and Europe, and fans have gotten to experience NESTOR's outstanding stage presence also on headline tours around Europe and even in Japan. Check out the atmospheric live video for "On The Run" below for a first glimpse of NESTOR's first live album and DVD!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
"We are super thrilled to release our live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studioswith 'On The Run' as the first single leading the way into our universe. I think this album captures NESTOR in our natural habitat: loud, heartfelt, unapologetically dramatic, and somehow both nostalgic and new at the same time. I hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed playing."

Watch the Live Video for "On the Run" Below:

Live at Gothenburg Film Studios treats fans old and new to a hefty selection of live versions of future classics from NESTOR's celebrated catalogue. The band brings the heat with a new rendition of the track "Firesign" (originally from Kids in a ghost town, 2021) – catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily '80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals.

German Symphonic Metal Icons XANDRIA Unveil Video for New Single "Colours"

German symphonic metal band XANDRIA present the second single from their upcoming album. "Colours" is another highlight in their 30-year-spanning career. Throughout the song, a large classical choir takes center stage, while cinematic orchestral arrangements collide with modern metal riffing. Meanwhile, singer Ambre Vourvahis showcases her impressive vocal range, switching between multiple styles as effortlessly as she is convincing; a skill rare in symphonic metal as well as elsewhere. From harsh vocals all the way to operatic singing, "Colours" creates a sound that is both grand and contemporary— a powerful showcase of what modern symphonic metal can be.

After the latest album (2023) became XANDRIA's most successful release to date, entering the Official German Album Charts at #9, the upcoming Eclipse, releasing August 7 via Napalm Records, is taking the band on their most diverse path yet. A journey full of discoveries, it has XANDRIA show their true "Colours..."

Band mastermind Marco Heubaum comments on "Colours":
"This is the second song from our upcoming album that we are proud to share with you. Together with the first single, 'The Shannon's Home', it offers another glimpse into the many different colours of the album — a journey full of discoveries, unexpected turns, and quite a few surprises. Just as diversity makes our world richer, it also shapes this album. Different voices, different perspectives, different emotions — all part of what makes life richer, stronger and more beautiful."

Watch the official video for "Colours" Below:

Chart-topping German symphonic metal icons XANDRIA will release their new studio album, Eclipse, on August 7 via Napalm Records. The upcoming full-length features 11 tracks that represent the most diverse body of work in the band's discography so far: Every song has its own identity—a journey full of discoveries—yet they all belong to the same world. Classic, '80s-inspired metal riffs stand alongside low-tuned modern metal guitars, cinematic orchestral sounds meet Celtic folk influences, and dark electronic elements blend with intimate rock moments, even including a guitar solo that owes more to Pink Floyd than to any metal genre.

Eclipse marks XANDRIA's most outspoken and cinematic album so far: A dark, colourful, and defiant statement for reason, empathy, and democracy in times when all three are under attack, brought to life by a band fueled with new energy, new ambitions, and a clear artistic direction, aiming higher than ever and not looking back!

Pre-order your copy of Eclipse here.

As guests, XANDRIA welcome Subway to Sally's violinist Ally Storch, who can be heard on "Lore," while the band's longtime friend McAlbi is featured on four songs with his Celtic tin and low whistles ("The Shannon’s Home," "Northstar," "Masquerade," and "Lore"). "The Last Generation" features a children’s choir and piano performed by Richard Z. Wang, a Hollywood pianist who has worked at Hans Zimmer's studio. In addition, the band has once again collaborated with the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir, known for their work on numerous film and television scores, including His Dark Materials. All songs were orchestrated by two film score composers working in Hollywood: Lukas Geppert, who worked on the scores for Nobody 2 and the latest Final Destination, and Ishaan Tyagi, who has contributed to productions such as Wuthering Heights.
