Mimi Barks Shares "JERICHO" Video — WATCH // U.S. Runs Through This Month

Mimi Barks returns with her brand new single and video "Jericho," the second track to be revealed from her upcoming EP Dreamstate of Fear.
Pre-order it here.

Watch the video below.

Following the release of “Dreamstate of Hell,” which opened the door to a darker and more focused new era, "Jericho" pushes her self-defined "DOOM TRAP" sound even further, colliding alternative metal, industrial weight and modern rock with heavy guitars, dynamic vocals, and a huge, hook-led chorus.

At its core, the track is about inner collapse, transformation and the breaking apart of everything false to make space for something new. The video was filmed in Bordeaux and in the heart of Paris by underground director NineNine99 and Phenix Agency, whose work includes visuals tied to Ho99o9, Boys Noize, Kalash and Gambi.

Mimi Barks says, "What looks like collapse is really release, an undoing of everything that was never truly mine. There's no real enemy unless you choose to become one to yourself. The shift happens when the self remembers itself, when the energy turns inward and transforms. The old world dissolves making space for something unknown. That's where freedom begins. What will you choose? Heaven or Hell?"

From the underground worlds of Berlin and London to her current base in Los Angeles, Mimi Barks has built a sound and identity entirely her own. Rooted in the collision of metal, industrial energy, and trap, her music is emotional, heavy, and unfiltered, while her live shows have already taken her to major stages across the UK and Europe. She is currently on her debut U.S. tour with Little Miss Nasty, and this summer will return to Europe for dates with KING 810 and Wargasm, alongside festival appearances at Vainstream and Till Fest, the festival hosted by Till Lindemann of Rammstein.

Dreamstate of Fear will be released on July 24 via her own imprint DEATHKISS Records and is now available to pre-order on limited edition LP, tape and CD. Pre-order it here.

Mimi Barks Drops "Dreamstate of Hell" Video — WATCH // Touring The U.S. This Spring

Mimi Barks returns with her brand new single and video, "Dreamstate Of Hell," a dark and emotionally charged statement that opens the next chapter of her DOOM TRAP world. Rooted in the collision of metal, industrial energy, and trap, the track feels raw, urgent, and deeply personal, pushing further into the tension, grit, and truth that have come to define her sound. Co-written and produced by Ruben Cardenas of SMLE, and mixed once again by Owen Claxton, who also mixed Mimi's album This Is Doom Trap and has worked with Bring Me The Horizon and MOSKITO, "Dreamstate Of Hell" arrives with a striking new video directed, produced and filmed by Death Tour singer Demi Yo'Ko and Mimi Barks in her new neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles.

With its late-night, surreal visuals and a constant sense of motion, fire, and collapse, the video mirrors the unrest at the heart of the song and marks the beginning of Mimi's darkest and most focused era yet.

Listen to "DREAMSTATE OF HELL." Watch the video below.

"Sometimes it feels like the world is slipping into a dreamstate of hell and most people do not even realize they are asleep inside it," Barks says. "Everywhere I look, I see noise, decay, violence, distraction, and now war becoming part of the daily landscape again."

She continues, "But to me, heaven and hell are not places waiting for us when we die. They're states of consciousness we create every day while we are here in the flesh. The real question is what you choose to feed: the poison or the light."

She finishes, "'Dreamstate Of Hell' was the first song I wrote after moving to Los Angeles, and it became the starting point for everything that followed. It is also the first single from my upcoming EP, Dreamstate of Fear."

From the underground scenes of Berlin and London to major stages across the UK and Europe, Mimi Barks has built a sound and identity entirely her own. Her brand new EP will be released in Summer 2026 on her own label imprint — DEATHKISS Records. Later this year, Mimi will make her U.S. touring debut on a 26-date run with Little Miss Nasty and GG Magree. She will then head back to Europe for dates with Wargasm, before wrapping up that run with her own UK tour in September.

Mimi Barks is touring the U.S. this spring as part of the DEADDOLLZ TOUR 2026 with Little Miss Nasty and GG Margie. The tour kicks off on April 8 in Salt Lake City and runs through May 10 in San Diego. Get tickets here.

"This tour announcement feels surreal," the artist states. "My debut appearance in the U.S. has been a long time coming. The flock has been asking for this moment for a minute, and I've been manifesting it long before that. Joining Little Miss Nasty on the DeadDollz Tour 2026 alongside GG Magree is proof that when you stay focused and trust the process, things unfold in their own divine timing."

Mimi Barks Announces Spring 2026 Tour Dates + New Music Coming Soon

MIMI BARKS has built a sound that is entirely her own. Her work is rooted in the collision of metal, industrial energy, and trap. Mimi's roots as a metal-loving artist in the Berlin club scene informed the creation of a genre fusion that is all her own, dubbed "DOOM TRAP." The music is visceral, heavy, and unfiltered, reaching into the dark corners of her psyche that are uncomfortable and turning them into powerful and strange beauty. Her inky and gutsy musical universe will fully enthrall you through her beats, fashion, artwork, ambience, and beyond. Nothing in her catalogue feels polished for comfort. It ebbs and flows with tension, grit, and truth.

Today, she is thrilled to announce that she will be touring the U.S. this spring as part of the DEADDOLLZ TOUR 2026 with Little Miss Nasty and GG Margie. The tour kicks off on April 8 in Salt Lake City and runs through May 10 in San Diego. Get tickets here.

Barks will also release new music very, very soon! So watch this space for more intel!

ABOUT MIMI BARKS:
Barks' story begins in Germany and takes shape in the underground world of Berlin where she found the freedom to experiment without limits. Berlin gave her the space to explore the extremes of punk, hip hop, techno and metal until her identity as an artist began to form. When she moved to London she found an environment that pushed her even further and from there she started releasing music that quickly caught attention across Europe and the United Kingdom. What followed was a steady rise that placed her on important stages across the continent including Download Festival, Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock, Boomtown, 2000 Trees and more Mimi is known for live performances that feel like emotional exorcisms. Her shows are intense and deeply personal. There is no distance between her and the audience. Every song becomes a release of what she carries inside and every crowd responds to that honesty. Her recordings follow the same path. From her early releases to her full length album This Is Doom Trap she has continued to refine her sound and dig deeper into the emotional weight behind it. Her 2025 cover of "Crawling" by Linkin Park carried that same spirit. She reshaped a song known across generations into something haunting and unmistakably hers. Mimi always moves toward evolution. She never repeats herself and every new project feels like a transformation. After a short break to regroup and rebuild she is preparing for the next part of her story. New music will arrive in early 2026 and it marks the beginning of a new chapter that is heavier, darker and more focused than anything she has released before.
