Just a few days ahead of their upcoming tour with TUNGSTEN and KILMARA, INDUCTION are back with a very special release: The modern power metal outfit led by guitarist Tim Hansen has unleashed a video clip for the brand-new version of their epic anthem "Gods Of Steel," featuring none other than Kai Hansen (HELLOWEEN, GAMMA RAY) on guest vocals.

"Gods Of Steel" originally appeared as an exclusive track on the physical editions of INDUCTION’s latest album, LOVE KILLS!, featuring a guest appearance by Antonio Calanna (A Cold Paradise). With its massive choirs, soaring melodies and larger-than-life heavy metal spirit, the song already stood out as one of the band’s most epic compositions. For this new version, INDUCTION are bringing one of the most influential voices and personalities in German heavy and power metal into the fold.

For Tim Hansen, the collaboration carries an additional personal significance. Not only does he consider his father’s unmistakable voice a perfect fit for a song like "Gods Of Steel," the two also recently worked together on the new HANSEN album, Born with a Hammer, that was released on September 18th via earMUSIC.

"Gods Of Steel" is part of INDUCTION’s third studio album, LOVE KILLS!, released on February 6, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music HERE. The record sees the band continue to expand their modern power metal sound, combining their classic heavy metal roots with progressive elements, sweeping orchestration and a cinematic production.

At the same time, LOVE KILLS! showcases INDUCTION at their most versatile. Moving between hard-hitting metal anthems, soaring melodic passages and more atmospheric moments, the record explores different facets of love, passion and their darker consequences. Crafted at Chameleon Studios and Boogie Park Studios in Hamburg, the new album was produced by Tim Kanoa Hansen, and was mixed and mastered by Eike Freese in collaboration with the guitarist. LOVE KILLS! marked the beginning of a new era for INDUCTION, defined by musical evolution, emotional depth, and a fearless drive to push the boundaries of modern power metal.

METAL ICON KAI HANSEN RELEASES NEW SINGLE "WELCOME TO LIFE"

With "Welcome To Life," Kai Hansen releases the second single from his upcoming solo album Born With A Hammer. Following the powerful "Feeding The Beast," the song reveals another side of the musician who, as co-founder of Helloween and founder of Gamma Ray, has played a defining role in European heavy metal, and power metal in particular, for decades.

Driving guitars, striking changes in tempo and strong melodies come together in a direct blend of heavy metal, punk and rock’n’roll. As the second track on the album, "Welcome To Life" makes it clear early on just how diverse Born With A Hammer is set to be.

Lyrically, the song is about accepting life as it is, not dwelling on what is missing and making the most of what you have. Hansen combines this outlook with his unmistakable guitar playing, an infectious sense of spontaneity and the spirit of a road trip through life.

The official lyric video brings this idea to life as a Mustang tears through a heightened, hell-tinged world. Its imagery follows the song's shifting dynamics and puts its sense of freedom firmly on the road.

Born With A Hammer was produced by Eike Freese, Kai Hansen and Alexander Dietz. The album was recorded with Eike Freese on guitar, Heaven Shall Burn’s Alexander Dietz on bass, Carcass drummer Dan Wilding and Induction guitarist Tim Hansen.

Across 10 songs, Born With A Hammer combines powerful heavy metal with punk attitude, hard rock drive and strong melodies. "Welcome To Life" represents the album's more immediate and carefree side, expanding the picture of this new solo chapter following "Feeding The Beast."

Following the worldwide success of Helloween’s recent reunion era and its major international tours, Born With A Hammer sees Kai Hansen return his focus to his own musical world. Michael Schenker Shares New Single "Rock Bottom" Feat. Kai Hansen

Following the success of his first single "Mother Mary," featuring Slash and Erik Grönwall, legendary guitarist Michael Schenker is set to release the second single "Rock Bottom" from his new album My Years with UFO.

This epic, 11-minute track once again showcases an incredible lineup featuring Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray, Helloween) on vocals; Derek Sherinian on keys; Brian Tichy on drums; and Barry Sparks on bass. The new single paves the way for what promises to be one of the most exciting rock albums of 2024.

Schenker's new album My Years with UFO is a tribute to the golden years that saw British hard rock band UFO rise from an underground phenomenon to rock legends.

Produced by Michael Schenker and Michael Voss, the new album marks the 50th anniversary of Schenker's era with UFO, spanning from 1972 to 1978. The "German Wunderkind" was asked to join UFO at just 17 years old. Touring the globe as a teenager, Schenker became a driving force behind some of UFO's most loved tracks, such as "Doctor Doctor," "Rock Bottom," and "Only You Can Rock Me."
