ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Resolve Share New Video

French Metalcore quartet Resolve have today released their Human (Extended Cut) album and unveiled the anthemic new single "Smile" via Arising Empire.

Being the latest track to be revealed from the deluxe album, "Smile" follows both the earth-shaking single "Molotov" and the recent sinister single "Sandman" in different fashion.

"'Smile' is the most straight-forward love song... until it's not," mentions Resolve bassist Robin Mariat. "There's obviously a gigantic gap in between this sound and 'Sandman' and the all-in aggression, but our musical DNA is spread across these two ends of the spectrum. So it made perfect sense for us to have this track as the final release of the Human cycle, as it's reminiscent of fan-favorite 'New Colors' or even 'Ignite,' a deeper cut off the album."

Watch the video below.

Stream, purchase Human (Extended Cut) now as limited colored vinyl or CD at the Arising Empire Shop.

Building upon a world shaped by the original version, the Human (Extended Cut) will included the new single "Sandman," the recent single "Molotov," more brand-new music, "The Fire, The Aftermath, The Everlasting" live performance and the original set of tracks from the album.

"This is a new form of release for us, which is very exciting," Mariat continues. "We get to build up on the world that we shaped for Human, and these new tracks are the continuation of the story. These new tracks definitely have something for everyone, whether you like the heavier side of Resolve, or if you are more into our melodic capabilities."

"The only thing we can ask for is for people to listen through the whole record (Human), because if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that this album has something for everyone, even people that may be far removed from metal," shares Mariat when talking about their sophomore album  a record that saw their single "Older Days" featuring Paleface Swiss and Ten56 go viral and surpass over 3.6 million streams to date.

Ever since their public reveal in February 2017 with the debut single "Exposed," the quartet has been eager to show their peers that they won't settle for anything but greatness. Also, Resolve have opened shows for Architects, Every Time I Die, While She Sleeps, Underoath, ERRA, and more.

Vocalist Anthony Diliberto shares, "I wanted to express how I find comfort in surrendering to my inner demons, to the point that getting rid of them would make me an entirely different person, which I'm scared to encounter."

Bassist Robin Mariat continues, "When it came to picking it as a single for the Human campaign, we knew it was the one track we should try and do something different with its release. So we called for two of the most accomplished vocalists we know, Aaron Matts from ten56. and Zelli from Paleface Swiss to come to our studio and spice it up a bit more with us. Not only that, but we thought it could also be fun to film all three vocalists do a vocal run-through for the track once It was all done."

Resolve Announce New Album "Human" + Share Video For Title Track

Death Awaits" and "Move To Trash." Pre-order it here, as limited colored vinyl, CD, together with unique merch options at the Arising Empire Shop, Impericon, and band shop.

To coincide with the album announcement, RESOLVE have also shared the video title track "Human" which is out today on all streaming platforms.

"'Human' is a very important track to us," says bassist Robin Mariat. "From the moment [vocalist and primary songwriter] Anthony [Dliberto] first played us the original demo in his room, it was obvious that we had something very special here. So much so, that we decided to make it the title track of the second album! It's a very industrial vibe, which is a direction that we haven't explored much in the past, but what I'm particularly pleased with is the fact that it 100% retains the Resolve essence, with titanic breakdowns and melodies. It's probably our most cinematic track yet though, which is something I'm sure a lot of fans will be very happy about.  It's very Isaac Asimov-inspired, telling the tale of a humanoid being, half-clone, half-robot, that questions everything about its existence, its consciousness... just like we humans do."

Having just finished a run on the road with While She Sleeps and also a European co-headline tour with Siamese, Resolve show no signs of slowing down.

Annisokay Share "Human" Video!

German metalcore band ANNISOKAY, led by vocalist and producer Chris Wieczorek (Sawdust Recording), have shared the video for new single "Human." Watch the video below.

A year ago, the band released the special edition of Aurora, which entered the official German album charts on #18, being their highest chart entry to date.

Aurora (Special Edition) is still available as CD and colored vinyl option, holding three absolute classics remastered, "Coma Blue," "Good Stories," and their Japanese bonus track "Parallel Universe," which has never been released worldwide, together with a full live set.

Stream, purchase Aurora (Special Edition) as CD or vinyl at the Arising Empire Shop and at Impericon.

ABOUT ANNISOKAY:
ANNISOKAY, the German rock x metal band, released their fifth studio album Aurora in 2021. The record entered the official German album charts on #18 and found the band reinvented. As usual, guitarist and singer Christoph Wieczorek was in charge of the production. But old braids were literally cut off and a new frontman was brought on board. The musical foundation, however, remained, with heavy guitar riffs, driving drum rhythms, and a mix of melodic singing and aggressive shouts. Rudi Schwarzer is now responsible for the latter. The new singer convinced fans upon performing live, as Annisokay played the X-Mas Bash Tour together with the EMIL BULLS in winter 2019.

ANNISOKAY were founded in 2007. The band has already played successful tours in Europe, Great Britain, Japan, and the USA. With several headline shows in Russia, Belarus, and the Ukraine, the band gained a loyal global fanbase. The highlights were support shows for Parkway Drive in sold-out halls in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The established independent record label SPV signed the band in 2014 and three studio albums were released, all of which made it into the top 100 of the official German album charts. In 2018, ANNISOKAY switched from SPV to Arising Empire. That same year, the fourth studio album Arms was released.

New Album Hørizøns Out Now!

On Co-Headline Tour With Amaranthe Spring 2021! Order Hørizøns HERE

Today, symphonic metal outfit BEYOND THE BLACK presents their new single, “Humans”, off their new album, Hørizøns - out now via Napalm Records.

“Human” features an almost daunting glimpse at the future, but also symbolizes the sophistication of another modern and equally gloomy melodic rock piece. Their new singleis a flagship example of bittersweet yet strong melodies merging with dystopian narratives. Delicate guitar lines blend with Jennifer Haben's remarkable, strong voice and ascend to a powerful epos of self-autonomy. Along with an artful, suspenseful and reflective music video, BEYOND THE BLACK take their audience on a journey through the range between melodic mellifluousness and uncompromising energetic rock fragments. The symphonic combo questions the essence of life and immerses the audiovisual in a gritty atmosphere of the fabled beginning of mankind. Convince yourself with their freshly released full-length Hørizøns – proving that the quintet is remaining and re-inventing themselves at the same time!

Jennifer Haben on Hørizøns:

„More than one year of hard work, blood, sweat and tears was put into this album. Hørizøns became an enormous part of our lives and it’s hard to find the right words to describe what this release means to us. We are more than ready to go and start this new BEYOND THE BLACK journey. This is going to be huge!"

Order Hørizøns NOW:

The quintet unbolts their unequalled, differentiated spectra of symphonic and melodic rock spiced with sonorous melodious metal soundscapes in 13 manifold songs. The album kicks off with its heavy, yet atmospheric title track, spanning the range of intumescent soundscapes and Jennifer Haben’s crystal clear, striking vocals. Beautiful yet strong harmonies, emotional storytelling and powerful vocal lines weave throughout “Wounded Healer” (feat. Elize Ryd of Amaranthe) and will light your way in gloomy times. Dark subliminal grooves coalesce with harmonizing guitar lines and form the prevailing nexus of “Human” and its unmistakably catchy chorus. Another facet rises with “You Are Not Alone”, which is dominated by electronic influences as well as symphonic sounding violins. Hørizøns’ atmospherically dark harshness creates the stylistic bow over the distinctive melodic rock meets pop sound in symbiosis with fragile yet strong fragments. The charismatic outfit persuades with a rousing, emotional clout and their strong, confident message of self-assertion.

Next year will get thrilling: BEYOND THE BLACK joins forces with modern melodic metal standouts Amaranthe to kick off their joint co-headline tour, to spread the news of a new metal generation across the continent.
