Better Noise Celebrates Major Milestone at Radio With From Ashes to New + Yellowcard1️⃣

BETTER NOISE MUSIC, the artist development company and the premier independent record label operating under BETTER NOISE ENTERTAINMENT, a content creation and marketing company that produces music, books, films, documentaries, TV shows, theatrical productions, and tours, is celebrating a major milestone. The independent label has achieved simultaneous No.1 singles at both Rock and Alternative Radio in the same week. This marks the first time such a feat has been achieved by an independent label.

Rock force FROM ASHES TO NEW have officially hit No. 1 at Active Rock radio for the first time with "DRAG ME," a major career breakthrough years in the making. After previously landing three Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, including "Barely Breathing" (#2) and "Crazy" (#2) for a total of 8 charting singles in their career, the band has now reached the summit, cementing their rise as one of the format's most consistent and hard-earned success stories.

The milestone arrives at a pivotal moment alongside the release of their newly released April 17 album Reflections, out now to a strong global reception.

This moment also lands amid a broader surge at radio, with multi-platinum pop punk royalty YELLOWCARD simultaneously earning a No. 1 of their own with "BEDROOM POSTERS" (Feat. Good Charlotte) at Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart. The song has remained in the top slot for the second week in a row. Consequenceapplauded how "the song finds Yellowcard singer Ryan Key traded vocals with Good Charlotte's Joel Madden," while Rolling Stone put it best: "It's the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams."

Together, these Better Noise Music achievements mark a rare and powerful showing, reflecting long-term artist development, sustained momentum, and a roster performing at the highest level. Both bands' accolades are being celebrated across the entire Better Noise family, marking a proud moment for a team that has helped drive their steady climb to the top.

Jackie Kajzer, SVP Promotion & Artist Development, says, "We don't take moments like this lightly. Huge credit to our partners at Rock and Alternative Radio for continuing to show up and support these artists in a meaningful way. This kind of support is what drives real breakthroughs. At Better Noise, we develop artists to build long-term careers. It's very rewarding to see our efforts connect at multiple formats at the same time. There's a lot more coming!"

Dan Waite, CEO Better Noise Music added "This is what artist development looks like when you work from the end game backwards. Allen Kovac founded this company on this principle, fewer signings, deeper investment, stronger outcomes. From Ashes To New and Yellowcard reaching No. 1 simultaneously didn't happen overnight. It's the result of years of focused development, building real fanbases, and staying committed through every phase of an artist's growth. That model is Better Noise Music's competitive advantage, and we're signing bands who want a label built around that kind of long-term partnership and philosophy. Great work Jackie and the whole Better Noise team!"

Better Noise Music stands as a dominant force at rock radio today, driven by a roster of artists achieving sustained, repeat success at the top of the format. The label has built a track record of developing artists into consistent chart performers. Of the 34 priority singles worked at radio by Better Noise Music's promotion team since 2020, 31 of them have peaked inside the top 10 and 23 have reached the coveted No. 1 slot.

From Ashes to New Drop "Forever" Video — WATCH // New Album "Reflections" Out Now

Today, the Lancaster, PA-based quintet shares the video for "Forever." The song weaves contemplative verses with epic and explosive choruses and breakdowns, and it ultimately demonstrates the band's deftness with dynamics.

Watch the video, directed by Orie McGuinness, below.

"'Forever' came together at the very end of the record, almost like it was waiting for everything else to fall into place before it could exist," Brandyberry shares. "There's a sense of finality to it, like standing in the aftermath of something you can't fix, realizing too late where it all went wrong. It paints a picture of how it feels when regret won't let go."

He continues, "We pushed ourselves further than we ever have on this one. We made choices that felt uncomfortable, but that's what helped shape it into something different for us. The goal wasn't to play it safe; it was to evolve and create something that sticks with you. 'Forever' doesn't resolve cleanly…It lingers, and that's exactly what we wanted."

As for the album as a whole, the band explains, "It's not a concept album by design, but there's a common theme running through it — that feeling of being stuck in a kind of purgatory, where you can almost see something better ahead of you, but there's always something dragging you back down."

It is also a moment for From Ashes to New, but not simply a moment in time. The band finishes, "This record is a reflection of who we were while making it, but even more than that, it's a statement of who we're becoming. Every song helped shape a sound that feels honest to where we're headed, not where we've been. We didn't hold anything back, and you can hear that in every moment."

The 12-track REFLECTIONS is the follow-up to 2023's BLACKOUT, which achieved the #1 spot on several iTunes and Spotify Rock and Metal charts across the globe. It was a massive success. Yet, in late 2023, FROM ASHES TO NEW arrived at a creative crossroads. The group wrapped up demos for 16 songs for what was supposed to be their fifth studio album. However, instead of sprinting towards the finish line and completing the record, the band scrapped those demo sessions. The process went against everything the band had ever done before. But largely starting anew —they kept two songs—was liberating. The band collectively knew it had to make something that remained true to their traditional sound yet broadened the tent to capture the ears and focus of a fresh audience. "I wanted to take what we are good at and push it even further," Brandyberry says. "That was the process for this whole record."

As a result, fans can hear a reinvigorated FROM ASHES TO NEW on REFLECTIONS.

From Ashes to New Drop "Die for You" Song + Video

FROM ASHES TO NEWDanny Case (vocals), Matt Brandyberry (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Maty Madiro (drums), and Jimmy Bennett (guitar) — recently announced their new album REFLECTIONS, out April 17 via Better Noise Music. Pre-order it HERE.

The Lancaster, PA-based quintet shares the latest single from the album with "DIE FOR YOU."

Watch the video, featuring Cruella Morgan, below.

According to Brandyberry, the song reflects "the fallout of a relationship built on control, desire, and guilt. It's a song that captures the exhaustion of giving endlessly to someone who keeps asking for more and mistaking survival for love. At its core, the song is about the moment clarity breaks through, forcing you to question how much of yourself you're willing to lose."

Case echoes these sentiments, furthering, "'Die For You' is about bending over backwards, doing everything you possibly can to please someone in a relationship, and it just never ends up being enough. And it feels like no matter what you do, it is just never good enough."

The weight of the subject matter is matched by the heft of the layered vocals and accompanying razor sharp riffs and moody melodies. Fans cannot help but feel the song's very real beating heart.
