EXTREME Share "Small Town Beautiful" Video

The band from Boston share where they're from and invite followers to do the same for upcoming fan interaction video

Extreme continue to highlight the many sides of SIX, their first album for earMUSIC released in June of 2023, with a new video for the charmingly gentle and lyrical track "Small Town Beautiful."

SIX was conceived as an album-length journey. With the 10th video to be released from that album (a run that began with "RISE" amassing millions of views followed by "#REBEL" through "Thicker Than Blood" up to "Beautiful Girls" and "Save Me," garnering millions more) the story and the journey continue as Nuno Bettencourt, Gary Cherone, Pat Badger, and Kevin Figueiredo explore the beauty in the small things of the places we call "home."

Watch the video below

"'Small Town Beautiful' is a beauty that is simple, kind, and caring. You can see it in her smile, gentle, warm, pure, familiar. The girl next door from a small community, a small town that no matter where she will journey to, a big city or even off to serve... There is an aura, a glow around her...her small town comes with her wherever she goes and whomever she touches," says Bettencourt.

With "Small Town Beautiful," the band also wish to shine a light on fans' hometowns around the world — embracing where they come from.

Many of us leave our homes to chase our dreams, whatever those may be, but these small towns leave an everlasting mark on us.

That is why Extreme is asking all fans to be a part of this song and to journey together. The band will create a special fan-edit of the music video to feature the fans themselves… their hometowns and their stories. Head over HERE to submit a photo in your small town for a chance to be featured in the new video.

We want to see the places that shaped the person that you are today. Because we all have a story to tell, and it starts with home.

The idea is to rally Extreme fans around the song and create a virtual space where all can be "home" together as the holiday season approaches.

As most folks are thinking about being "home for the holidays," EXTREME will travel to India for the Bandland Festival in November and have once again confirmed their presence on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in 2025.

EXTREME Share "Save Me" Video

"Save Me" is the impressive ninth video from EXTREME's album SIX, released in June of 2023 on earMUSIC. If first single and video "Rise" was a reminder of EXTREME's power and precision and the latest "Beautiful Girls" a relaxed summer jam, "Save Me" reveals yet another facet of the band's depth and the album's diversity.

SIX finds the band on a creative roll and having produced an astounding nine videos from the album, there's no sign of them slowing down.

Directed by SIMPLEXITY PICTURES who have done all the SIX music videos this far ... the dynamic duo, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and Rene Rigal.

"This video was shot with a very claustrophobic feel to show the raw emotion of the heavy subject matter of the song," says Bettencourt.

"It was important to shoot like this to create a lack of oxygen in black void as if 'we' are the voices in your heads... in our own heads, to visually put across the psychological battle of whispers and screams we have all dealt with in coping with life's challenges"

Gary Cherone's schizophrenic vocal in the verses is the dark narrator in our heads taunting and pushing us to a dangerous edge: "Save me from myself / save me from this hell..." is our voice that is screaming in our heads but often painfully silent on the outside.

Nuno further explains, "The viewer sometimes can't tell where one face ends and the other begins. Like we are small pieces of a human jigsaw puzzle... with one rule... that we will never see the full finished puzzle." Of our full selves.

Reaching a crescendo with Nuno's stinging solo, the video ultimately ends in a dark place, but as Nuno and Gary intended...it is a song of hope...in a dark reality.

"YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There is always someone to call when all seems hopeless."

EXTREME Announce Tour + Share "THICKER THAN BLOOD" Video

Boston's EXTREME will return to the UK and Europe to spark a new revolution that will take over stages from London to Milan and all points in-between. Non-stop touring behind their rapturously received new album SIX has already seen the band crisscross the U.S., as well as thrill audiences in Australia and Japan.

To set off this next leg of their journey and prepare fans for the Extreme live experience, the band shared a new video for "THICKER THAN BLOOD," filmed from a unique perspective.

"With the 'Thicker Than Blood' video, we wanted to shoot a video that celebrates the fifth and most important member of the band — our fans," video co-director and Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt explains. "So we shot it from the fan's point of view."

Globe-spanning footage from California, Australia, and Japan shows just how intense the connection between band and fans can get in the live arena.

"No matter how great a band believes they are, you cannot achieve your dreams of touring the world and doing what you love most, performing, without your fans. It's the most important relationship in our career," Betterncourt continues.

With Living Colour supporting in the UK and many dates along the way already sold out, the excitement and anticipation for Extreme's return to these shores is electric... and "Thicker Than Blood" is high-wire proof of what the fuss is all about.
