Multi-Platinum country star Brantley Gilbert releases his highly anticipated new album So Help Me God, a 10-track project that features five new songs, including his latest single “Heaven By Then” with Blake Shelton and featuring Vince Gill, which had a world premiere via iHeartRadio today. Available now via The Valory Music Co., listen to the album and the single, officially impacting Country radio on Monday, November 14, HERE.

“In the past, my albums were almost direct reflections, direct chapters of my life,” shares Gilbert. “Whatever I’d gone through since I wrote the last record would make its way onto the new album. There’s still some of that with So Help Me God since I’m a cowriter on all the songs – it’s been three years since the last release and a lot of life lived. But I feel like this album is more of a mixtape of great songs.”

Co-written with Brock Berryhill, Michael Hardy, Jake Mitchell, Randy Montana, Hunter Phelps and Taylor Phillips, album opener “Heaven By Then” highlights a way of life that can often feel like it’s disappearing, as the pace of everyday life continues to speed up.

“‘Heaven By Then’ came out of a conversation during a writers retreat in Texas that we do every year. A guitar ended up in HARDY’s lap, which is usually a good sign that it’s about to turn into something special. I think we all knew that as it was being written. It came to life that night.

“To have Blake Shelton and Vince Gill on the song meant so much to me. Those two brought so much to the table and gave it a voice I didn’t have. We were all in separate places when we recorded, but it was a cool way for everyone to put their spin on it. They just did what felt natural and sonically you hear that,” he concludes.

Gilbert has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all his albums. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten new father––just as he is.

“All of my albums up to this point have been spiritual or faith-based titles, and there’s a reason for that,” Gilbert shares. “I feel like if I’m the ‘what you see is what you get’ guy, and I decide to disregard my faith or not include it, not only am I selling myself short, but I’m selling everybody who plays that record short. Faith is a huge part of my life, and I feel like God tends to bless us a little bit more when we share a little spotlight.”

Gilbert kicked off his co-headlining tour with Five Finger Death Punch last night in and continues this evening in Fort Wayne Indiana. Gilbert is set to tour with 5FDP through December 17, wrapping in Las Vegas, Nevada. For tickets and more information, visit BrantleyGilbert.com.

As a longtime supporter and advocate for service men and women, Gilbert continues championing veterans through his latest partnership with Nine Line Apparel for an exclusive shirt design, which will benefit Nine Line Foundation.

About Brantley Gilbert
With back-to-back Platinum albums and a grassroots following millions strong, Brantley Gilbert’s music has been shared, covered and adopted as the soundtrack to Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. The Georgia native who started as the defiant life-of-the-party can still go ‘til sunrise, but he’s also emerged as something far greater: the leader of a massive tribe of hard-working, fun-loving believers for whom electric guitar-shredding, rapping, and twang can go hand-in-hand-in-hand. They call themselves the BG Nation, and when the BG Nation watches Gilbert on a stage, they don’t just see a star. They see themselves. Seven No. 1 hits punctuate his career: “Country Must be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” CMA Awards Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party,” RIAA 5x Platinum-certified “Bottoms Up,” “One Hell of an Amen” and collaboration with Lindsay Ell “What Happens In A Small Town.” Gilbert’s landmark record Just As I Am clinched the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album. Earning praise from the New York Times, NPR, American Songwriter, and more, Gilbert has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all of his albums. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten new father––just as he is. H So Help Me God is available now via The Valory Music Co. and features his latest single “Heaven By Then” with Blake Shelton featuring Vince Gill. Gilbert will embark on a co-headlining tour with Five Finger Death Punch November 9 for their 22-date U.S. run that wraps December 17. Big Machine Label Group Founder/President/CEO Scott Borchetta and his wife Sandi Borchetta, who is BMLG's Executive Vice President of Creative, announced today that they have issued a $150,000 grant to the Nashville-based Music Health Alliance, an organization that provides free healthcare advocacy and support to more than 18,000 music industry members across 49 states. The Borchetta’s contribution was issued through their Music Has Value fund that was established in 2015 to provide financial support to organizations which support those who make music, aspire to make music, and access and appreciate music. In 2020, the Music Has Value Fund provided fifteen $10,000 grants to music programs throughout the United States.

“For over 30 years, Scott and Sandi Borchetta have made a profound impact on Nashville and the music industry through their leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropic endeavors,” says Music Health Alliance Founder & CEO Tatum Allsep. “We are overwhelmed by their generous contribution today through their Music Has Value fund. This grant will greatly help us in our mission to Heal the Music.”

“Access to healthcare is something every human deserves and the work that Music Health Alliance does to help those working in music gain access to medicine, mental health resources or even COVID-19 relief, is nothing short of heroic,” says Scott and Sandi Borchetta. “In order for those working in the music business to create and produce their best work, they must be healthy and well. We are proud to know that this Music Has Value grant will provide healthcare to so many people in our music community.”

The Borchettas’ announcement today arrives days before the second annual Big Machine Music City Grand Prix takes over downtown Nashville. The leading entertainment and spirits company became the title sponsor of the IndyCar race last summer which drew in over 110,000 spectators to Music City. The three-day event is a highlight for both race and music fans alike. Big Machine superstars like Tim McGraw, Carly Pearce, Brantley Gilbert, and Midland will all perform throughout the weekend. Tickets for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix can be purchased at www.MusicCityGP.com

ABOUT MUSIC HAS VALUE: The Music Has Value fund was created in 2015 by Scott and Sandi Borchetta to provide funds to organizations which support those who make music, aspire to make music, and access and appreciate music. The fund, administered by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, continues to target K-12 schools needing instruments and resources, with an emphasis on rural areas that are often overlooked. In 2020, the Music Has Value Fund provided fifteen $10,000 grants to music programs throughout the United States. Additionally, Music Has Value aims to enrich lives both young and old, and a portion of the dollars pledged will support music therapy programs for seniors and those battling Alzheimer's. Additionally, the Music Has Value fund has provided support to CreatiVets, non-profit organization that provides combat veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress and brain injury with opportunities to use art, music and creative writing to heal their unseen wounds of war. ABOUT MUSIC HEALTH ALLIANCE: Founded in 2013 and based in Nashville, Music Health Alliance (MHA) has provided free healthcare advocacy and lifesaving support and resources to more than 18,000 music industry members across 49 states in the non-profit’s first nine years. MHA has supported songwriters, musicians, performers, producers, engineers, venue operators, artist managers, agents, publishers, business managers, and more by providing access to medicine, mental health resources, COVID-19 relief, diagnostic tests, lifesaving transplants, end of life care, and many other necessary services, saving more than $85,000,000 in healthcare costs for the nationwide music community in less than a decade. Entirely funded through grants and individual and corporate donations, financial support from the music community is critical to continue MHA’s advocacy and free services. For every $1 donation, MHA is able to provide $30 in life-saving healthcare resources to Heal the Music. MHA fights so those in our industry never have to feel alone in a health crisis and removes obstacles so patients can receive lifesaving care. All MHA services are free to any person who has worked in the music industry for three or more years or who has credited contributions to 4 commercially released recordings or videos. Spouses, partners, and children of qualifying individuals may also receive access to the non-profit’s services from birth to end of life. More info at https://www.musichealthalliance.com/.
