Blacktoothed Return With New Single "Monsters"

With "MONSTERS," blacktoothed deliver one of their most emotionally direct and introspective releases to date. Blending atmospheric modern rock with raw, honest lyricism, the track dives deep into the fear of losing yourself and the internal struggle of not becoming someone you no longer recognize.

At its core, "MONSTERS" explores inner darkness, self-doubt, and the lingering weight of thoughts that refuse to fade. The song reflects on how easily reality can be distorted, how feelings can be numbed, and how internalized lies can slowly take hold. Lines like "Losing our feelings/We break what's real" capture that quiet unraveling, while the repeated "Can't let you turn into a monster" feels like both a warning and a desperate attempt to hold on to what's left.

Sonically, the band expands its signature sound with a strong sense of contrast and atmosphere. Driving instrumentation and polished production meet emotional vulnerability, carried by expressive male lead vocals and haunting female backings that add depth and tension throughout the track. The result is a dynamic balance between heaviness and space, intense without losing its sense of melody.

Over the past years, blacktoothed have continuously refined their sound and identity, building a reputation for combining modern rock elements with emotional depth and strong songwriting. This steady evolution has helped them grow their audience and establish themselves as a distinctive voice within the scene.

With "MONSTERS," blacktoothed take another step forward, not just sonically but thematically. It is a song about confronting what’s inside, recognizing the signs before it's too late, and fighting to stay human in the face of everything trying to pull you under.

Solo Artist Zack Miranowic Releases New Single & Visualizer “What Do You See?”

Southampton, New Jersey–based solo artist Zack Miranowic has released his new single "What Do You See?", accompanied by a visualizer. The single is the second offering from his forthcoming full-length album Sinking Low, and continues Miranowic’s solo vision — channeling darker themes through massive riffs, dynamic songwriting, and powerful melodic vocals with a touch of grit.

Miranowic shares, "Oftentimes people do not assess what kind of life they've lived until the very end - more specifically, what kind of people they were in their life and to those around them. I think it's important every now and again to check in with yourself. Are you where you want to be or is there room to grow and improve? Were you kind to others or were you cruel? The even bigger question is, were you even aware?"

Notably, Miranowic handled every aspect of the release himself. “The album was completely produced, mixed, and mastered by me."

His music dives into deeply personal territory, exploring mental illness, anger, the passage of time, and lived experiences with honesty and intensity. Balancing aggressive instrumentation with atmospheric depth and strong melodic sensibility.

“What Do You See?” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Canadian Hard Rock Trio VON GROOVE Shares New Single "Undefeated" + Official Visualizer

Hard rockers VON GROOVE are proud to share their new single, "Undefeated," taken from their upcoming new album 'Born To Rock,' set for release on May 15, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. "Undefeated" marks the third track released from the new album and arrives alongside an official visualizer.

Drummer/vocalist Michael Shotton comments on the new track:

"'Undefeated' is the story of relentless persistence. Always rising to the challenge and never giving up. Defeat is not an option. Every day we step into that ring and face the enemy head-on and come out swinging. 'Undefeated' rocks as only VON GROOVE can. WARNING: don’t listen to this while driving on the highway!"

Watch the Official Visualizer for "Undefeated" Below.

VON GROOVE triumphantly returns with a jaw-dropping new album that reunites the classic original lineup: Mladen on guitars, Michael Shotton on drums and vocals, and Matthew Gerrard on bass. This isn’t just a comeback, it’s a resurrection!

Marking their first studio release since 2001, the album feels like it was born in the same fire as their legendary 1992 debut. The opening title-track, "Born To Rock," explodes with the same urgency and swagger as their iconic “Once Is Not Enough” — even quoting it with a subtle nod that will send chills down the spine of longtime fans.

True to their roots, VON GROOVE delivers a masterclass in melodic hard rock, with blazing guitars, soaring vocals, and airtight arrangements. The production is punchy and alive, but the soul of the record is pure 90s AOR glory.

Even more exciting? VON GROOVE will be returning to the stage in 2026, bringing their renewed fire and timeless sound back to live audiences for the first time in years.

Pre-Order 'Born To Rock' HERE

Founded in 1990, VON GROOVE quickly made their mark on the Melodic Hard Rock scene. Their 1992 self-titled debut, produced by Richie Zito and featuring Deen Castronovo (later of Journey) on session drums, remains a cornerstone of the genre. Over the years, they’ve delivered fan-favorite albums like 'Mission Man' ('Chameleon' in Europe), 'Test of Faith,' and'The Seventh Day.' Despite going on hiatus in 2001, the members stayed active, collaborating with rock legends and contributing to major projects across genres.

After 20+ years, VON GROOVE is making their epic comeback!

EMBERS OF DAWN Reflect On Mortality In Their New Single "The Passing"

EMBERS OF DAWN venture further into realms doom and gothic metal in the new single, "The Passing". A touching tribute to TYPE O NEGATIVE and Peter Steele, the rich atmosphere and doom-laden heaviness center the darkness of this introspective track.

EMBERS OF DAWN explain, "At its core, the lyrics reflect mortality, loneliness, and the inevitability of death. The song emphasizes emptiness, futility, and indifference… and if that wasn’t dreary enough, the nihilistic elements of the lyrics are apparent as the song suggests life and death might go unnoticed and that the universe really offers no inherent significance."

The haunting introduction of "The Passing" soon builds into a rhythmic arrangement of chugging guitars, metallic percussion hits and industrial electronics. Somber, low vocal melody lines contribute to the song's gothic style, while powerful bursts add further character. "The Passing" showcases the band's ability to craft intense sonic offerings that unveil an all-encompassing heavy sound, and was produced, mixed and mastered by Richii Wainwright.

About EMBERS OF DAWN:

Formed in 2022, EMBERS OF DAWN is a genre-defying metal project born out of Jacksonville, Florida and Santa Barbara, California. The band blends elements of industrial, gothic, melodic death metal, and cyber-metal to create a sound that is both cinematic and punishing. Known for their thematic focus on alienation, modern decay, and emotional detachment, EMBERS OF DAWN delivers music that is as introspective as it is aggressive.

The band’s music features cold, mechanical precision layered with dark melodic textures, drawing influence from acts like PAIN, DARK TRANQUILLITY, MINISTRY, FEAR FACTORY, RAMMSTEIN, STATIC-X, ROB ZOMBIE, ARCH ENEMY, and TYPE O NEGATIVE. With each release, they continue to explore new sonic territory, balancing technicality with atmosphere, brutality with beauty.

Their upcoming debut album Infernal Culture features drums by ADRIAN ERLANDSSON (AT THE GATES, CRADLE OF FILTH, PARADISE LOST, THE HAUNTED), adding an explosive edge to their already dynamic sound.

EMBERS OF DAWN is:

  • Graves- vocals

  • Cliff Ross – guitars, programming

  • Scott Van Horn – bass, programming

  • Grover Norton - drums

Archers Drop Visualizer for Dynamic New Single "Say So"

Co-written and co-produced by Erik Ron (Bad Omens, From Ashes to New, Motionless in White) and Jon Eberhard (I Prevail, Wind Walkers, Hollywood Undead, Sleeping with Sirens), the song deftly demonstrates the band's mastery of dynamics. The moody verses collide into the explosive and frenetic choruses and a ballistic breakdown, making for a overall thrilling listen.

"'Say So' is a song about the frustration of knowing a relationship is coming to an end," offers the band. "Knowing that and wanting to rip the band-aid off instead of simply waiting for the inevitable."

Archers are returning to the road this month, heading to Europe for a run of performances. All dates are below. They will also appear at Welcome to Rockville in the U.S. next month, in addition to Inkcarceration in July and Louder Than Life in September.

ATREYU Unleashes New Single "Children Of Light" Featuring Max Cavalera + Visualizer

Today, while gearing up for their spring tour supporting Sevendust, ATREYU are excited to unleash their new single, "Children Of Light," featuring the legendary Max Cavalera. The new track is taken from ATREYU's upcoming album, 'The End is Not the End,' set for release on April 24, 2026 via Spinefarm.

On the new single, ATREYU comments:

"'Children of Light' was created with a primal spirit in mind. A 'festival' song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved. We’re honored to share this song with a legend."

Watch the Visualizer for "Children Of Light" Below:

‘The End is Not the End' is undeniably ATREYU’s heaviest album ever and their most adventurous. “We realized what made ATREYU great in the beginning was that we didn’t sound like anyone else,” frontman Brandon Saller explains. “We didn’t really make sense anywhere. We weren’t an emo band, a metal band, a punk band — but somehow it all worked. We kind of just carved our own path.”

Guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Porter McKnight, drummer Kyle Rosa, and Saller created several of 'The End is Not the End'’s songs on creative trips.

“Tokyo made us feel like kids again,” Saller says. “We’d write for a few hours in the morning, then go out and get lost in all this inspiration. The first song we finished was ‘Dead,’ and we knew we were onto something.”

After the Japanese sessions, the band and their producer decamped to San Juan Island off the coast of Washington, where isolation became a creative accelerant. “It was the polar opposite of Tokyo. We didn’t leave the house for four days and wrote some of the heaviest songs on the record.”

The result is an album that feels simultaneously classic and unfamiliar, aggressive and unselfconscious, deeply emotional and unconcerned with trends. Produced by Matt Pauling, ATREYU’s tenth album is vibrant, inventive, and beautifully aggressive.

“It’s our heaviest, most metal record we’ve made,” Saller points out. “But it’s also the biggest musical journey we’ve taken in years.”

The album moves seamlessly from soaring melodic heft to muscular metallic weight, with cinematic shades and atmosphere, all tied together by a driving, raw intensity. Tracks like “Dead,” “Ghost in Me,” “Children of Light (featuring Max Cavalera),” and “Afterglow”sound both timely and timeless.

South Florida deathcore mainstays Bodysnatcher have unleashed their latest rager "Plague Of Flies" and the official video (via MNRK Heavy). The track is taken from their soon-to-be-released new album 'Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home', out this Friday, April 10. 'Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home' will be the band's fourth full-length and newest body of work since 2024's 'Vile Conduct', and promises to be their most furious and bloodthirsty work yet. Leading up to today, the quartet has released "Blade Between The Teeth", "The Maker", and most recently, "Violent Obsession". Speaking about "Plague Of Flies", guitarist Kyle Carter commented:

This is one of the more exaggerated topics of the album. I don’t live in this headspace constantly, but there are times when I just want to say “fuck it, everyone else is an asshole, so I should be too.”

Metal Band 40 Cycle Hum Release New Single "Remember The Days" via TLG | ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group

Heavy-hitting metal act 40 Cycle Hum released their new single, "Remember The Days," via TLG | ZOID and distributed by Virgin Music Group

Anchored by vocalist Brandon Mitchell, guitarist Mark Zavon (Kill Devil Hill), bassist Matt Snell (Five Finger Death Punch), and drummer Francis Ruiz (Buckcherry), the band’s lineup delivers a focused, powerful sound built for today’s rock audience.

"'Remember the Days' turns back the clock to a simpler time. It hits the rewind button and shines a light on all the good times from back in the day," says the band.

Denny Sanders of TLG|ZOID shares, "I like to think working with 40 Cycle Hum is fulfilling a destiny. I was introduced to lead vocalist Brandon by our mutual friend Sen Dog at Cypress Hill's show with The Nashville Symphony. When Brandon gave me his cell number, I already had it in my phone yet neither one of us remembered meeting back in the day. Fast forward a couple months, Brandon sent me the record we had talked about that night at the show, and I was blown away at how good it was. Now here we are ready to rock the world."

Peter Tsiolis of TLG|ZOID adds, "When Denny sent over the music, I had no idea who it was I was listening to, but the minute the riff for 'Remember The Days' kicked in I was hooked.  The song brings you back to the late 1990s early 2000s.  It's fresh and full of energy.   40 Cycle Hum brings the attitude and the music that brings you back to when music was fun."

"Remember The Days" is now available on all major streaming platforms. For more information on 40 Cycle Hum, including upcoming releases and tour dates, visit their official website and follow them on social media.

Black Metal Legends Winterfylleth Release Title Track + New Album "The Unyielding Season"

With the release of their ninth album, The Unyielding Season, out now via Napalm Records, UK's black metal legends WINTERFYLLETH unleash the title track as the third single. "The Unyielding Season" captures the overarching theme of the album: The song is a reflection of the current state of the world wrapped in raging, yet refined atmospheric black metal, guiding the way to a worthy follow up to 2024's celebrated predecessor The Imperious Horizon.

WINTERFYLLETH's ninth album is a social commentary wrapped in meticulously crafted poetry and prose. Where the preceding album described an ominous, malevolent force, lurking in the distance, The Unyielding Season now explores said threat becoming a reality.

Chris Naughton on "The Unyielding Season":
"'The Unyielding Season' – the song that puts music and emotion to the album concept as a whole. A beautiful, haunting and reflective track that tries to capture the weight and gravity of the current social circumstances we are living through in the world. It shares its concept with that of the wider album, and essentially tries to be a voice of the people against the tide of pressures in the world."

Watch the visualizer video for "The Unyielding Season" BELOW !

WINTERFYLLETH about the new album:
"2026 marks a year of big changes for WINTERFYLLETH! A new label, a new member, a new album, and the landmark of 20 years making music together. We are enthused by what this new chapter will bring, and as a result, we are now able to share our ninth album, The Unyielding Season, with the world. It is also a powerful and virulent first output, through which we seal our new collaboration with Napalm Records.

In many ways, the new album is a reflection on — and a rebellion against — the turmoil's and fears that are tearing the lives of many individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable & constant weight of malevolence and pressure being pushed into the world by agents of an un-resting and unyielding force for evil. We hope the album resonates with you, stirs your soul, and gives you a source for hope. But, we also hope it makes you ask questions of your own circumstances and gives you pause to consider the unnerving state of the world we all share."

“We had a blast with this track,” the band shares. “We wanted it to be intense and kind of trippy. We even added a little surprise in the release."

That surprise comes in the form of a hidden track titled “TATT,” which stands for “Tired All The Time.” The track delivers a pointed message from the band about their frustrations with the current state of the scene.

“TATT stands for ‘Tired All The Time’ because we’re so over the bullshit in the scene,” the band explains.

Alongside the release of “Let Me Out,” Fight From Within will be hitting the road this spring, bringing their high-energy live show to fans across multiple cities. Known for their explosive performances and uncompromising attitude, the band continues to build momentum both on record and on stage. Recently, the band

signed with Core Collective Talent Agency for US and Canada tours & Timeframe Booking for Europe.

“Let Me Out” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Fight From Within were founded in Upstate New York in early 2021. Their sound lands at the intersection of metalcore, hardcore, and beatdown. With deeply diverse influences ranging from Bury Your Dead, Polaris, Evergreen Terrace, Emmure, Invent/Animate, Every Time I Die, and Attila, they have crafted their own distinct sound.

In 2022, they began tracking new music with Pablo Viveros of Chelsea Grin. They have taken the stage at many key festivals, from Sonic Temple to The Gathering of the Juggles to Inkcarceration to Louder Than Life. The band headed into 2026 like a freight train — all gas, no brakes.

CELESTIAL DEATH Unleash New Single “Seed Corrupted"

Rooted in dystopian themes and extreme, yet melodic black metal ferocity, “Seed Corrupted” introduces listeners to the opening chapter of CELESTIAL DEATH’s larger conceptual narrative that explores corruption, power, and the cyclical nature of destruction and rebirth.

Musically, “Seed Corrupted” merges modern melodic black metal with dark, post-metal atmosphere. A distorted lead melody establishes a dissonant tone before erupting into thunderous percussion and obliterating vocal delivery. The arrangement shifts between relentless high-speed aggression and slower, oppressive passages, creating a dynamic soundscape that mirrors the tension within the song’s narrative.

While the track stands on its own as a powerful single, it also serves as an entry point into a much larger conceptual story that CELESTIAL DEATH’s founding guitarist and vocalist, Forrest Jessup, has been developing for years. At its core, “Seed Corrupted” presents a conversation between two figures navigating morality, power, and survival in a corrupted world.

Part of the narrative draws inspiration from the mythology surrounding Al Capone, who famously spent time imprisoned in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary - located only two miles from where Jessup grew up. Within the story, Capone appears as a mentor figure speaking to an unnamed protégé about the realities of power, violence, and the moral compromises required to survive within ruthless systems.

The title “Seed Corrupted” acts as a metaphor for how corruption rarely begins with a single act of evil, but instead grows from the environments people are forced to navigate. In harsh societal conditions - particularly in impoverished urban environments shaped by systemic oppression - organized crime often becomes less a matter of choice and more a mechanism of survival. Within the narrative, the mentor figure reflects on his rise to power while acknowledging both the brutality and the intoxicating nature of chaos itself.

One of the song’s central lines captures this duality:

“We planted this seed, corrupted this society, enchanted by our anarchy.”

While figures like Capone are condemned by society, they are also mythologized and romanticized in cultural memory - often framed through outlaw folklore that blurs the line between villain and antihero.

Growing up in Atlanta heavily influenced the themes behind the track. The city’s cultural identity - built on resilience, struggle, and an uncompromising survival mentality - shaped Jessup’s perspective and writing. Atlanta has long been a place where artists and communities have fought to build something from nothing, embodying a spirit often summarized as “got it out the mud.” That mindset of relentless survival and self-determination echoes throughout the worldview of the characters within CELESTIAL DEATH’s unfolding story.

The artwork for “Seed Corrupted,” created by Jim Bob Cooter Jr. (who did the band’s debut single, "Anti-Preacher"), visually reinforces these themes. The illustration depicts a decaying urban skyline and fractured cityscape amidst a bleak natural environment, in the center of which is a body of water, and dying tree of life… Above the surface lies the decay, symbolizing a society already consumed by corruption. The inverted reflection in the pool, however, reveals a thriving city of prosperity and abundant tree of life. The imagery suggests that corruption has already taken root in the present world, while the reflection represents either a forgotten past or a possible future that humanity has lost - or may one day reclaim.

“Seed Corrupted” serves as the first glimpse into the broader conceptual world of CELESTIAL DEATH - a narrative built around cycles of corruption, collapse, and rebirth. Much like the ancient symbol of the ouroboros, the story exists within a continuous loop where endings become beginnings and fallen systems inevitably reform themselves. This philosophy also mirrors the band’s deeper artistic identity and the ethos behind Terminus Hate City itself: the understanding that decay and creation are inseparable forces. Like the phoenix rising from ash, destruction becomes the catalyst for transformation, and new life inevitably grows from the ruins of the old.

Without A Face Announce Papercut Recordings Signing With New Double Single “Needful Things” & "Resurfacing (feat. Jacob Mathes of Orphan)"

Toronto musician and producer Kevin Rolly today introduces the next chapter of his unbridled deathcore powerhouse Without A Face with the release of “Needful Things,” a new double single out now alongside the official announcement of the project’s signing to Papercut Recordings. Listen to the double single HERE and find the YouTube visualizer BELOW.

The double single release features tracks "Needful Things" and "Resurfacing" (featuing Jacob Mathes of Orphan). Written and performed by Rolly, Without A Face channels unbridled aggression, pressure, frustration and catharsis into something visceral. The goal is simple, the music should provoke a reaction. Whether that response is discomfort, rage or recognition, indifference has no place in the equation.

The project first began gaining attention with the release of the EP Rat Poison, a short, apoplectic and explosive introduction that quickly found an audience within the modern deathcore community. The release earned strong support from platforms including Slam Worldwide and The Brutality Podcast, whose listeners helped amplify the project and ultimately recognized Rat Poison in the outlet’s year-end awards with a nomination for 'New Deathcore Band of the Year'.

That early momentum helped push Without A Face past 930,000 Spotify streams, 125,000 Apple Music streams and more than 340,000 YouTube views, establishing the project as one of the most promising new names emerging from the underground extreme music space.

Needful Things” now serves as the first release of a new era for Without A Face and the first under the Papercut banner.

Without A Face emerged after years of Rolly working professionally in music through production, engineering and underground rap. Although the work built experience and connections, he eventually felt pulled back toward the kind of heavy music that first shaped him. Records that felt volatile, visceral and impossible to ignore. Without A Face became the vehicle for returning to that space with intent.

The aggression that defines the music is grounded in real stakes. A neck injury in recent years, combined with ongoing hearing issues, left Rolly needing an outlet for his rage and frustration. Those searing emotions sit at the core of Without A Face, fueling the project’s unflinching intensity.

With “Needful Things” now released and the partnership with Papercut Recordings in place, Without A Face enters its next phase with momentum already building and more music expected to follow.

ABOUT WITHOUT A FACE

Without A Face is the solo project of Toronto musician and producer Kevin Rolly, created as an outlet for heavy music that carries real emotional weight. After years working professionally in music through production, engineering and underground rap, he returned to the extreme music that first shaped him, creating a project built on catharsis, urgency and impact.

Written and performed by Rolly, Without A Face turns lived experience, frustration and creative pressure into music designed to provoke a real emotional response.

Since launching the project, Without A Face has amassed over 1 million cross platform streams, and more than 340,000 views on YouTube, with early support from platforms including Slam Worldwide and The Brutality Podcast helping introduce the project to a rapidly growing heavy music audience.

Without A Face announced their signing to Papercut Recordings in March of 2026 with the release of double single "Needful Things" and the threat of more new music on the horizon.

SUNSWARM Announce Crushing New Single "Erasure" Ahead of Forthcoming Album

Southampton, UK industrial post-metal act SUNSWARM announce the release of their new single "Erasure."

"Erasure" is not structured as a traditional single. Across eight minutes, the track unfolds as a bleak and overwhelming piece of industrial post-metal, built from early 90s industrial sampling techniques, scorched guitar textures, and vocals shaped by black-metal intensity. Rhythms move like shifts in pressure rather than conventional song structures, creating an atmosphere of suffocation and psychological weight.

Emerging from UK South Coast underground scene, SUNSWARM draw influence from the brutal desolation of GODFLESH, the spiritual intensity of AMENRA, the sonic extremity of THE BODY, and the cosmic dread of ORANSSI PAZUZU. Their sound merges industrial noise, post-metal density, and extreme vocal expression into something immersive and deeply physical.

The band describe the track as the emotional entry point into the record: "This is the opening track from our forthcoming album. It’s not a song. It’s 8 minutes of bleak, overwhelming Industrial Post-Metal. No Light. This nihilism is not a political or philosophical position. It is waking in the middle of the night and feeling a void. The growing feeling of strangulation in this creeping dystopia that the power structures and their tech is dragging us and our children into.

When you strip back the substances and digital, what oxygen do we have left? Erasure. Erased."

With "Erasure", SUNSWARM present confrontation rather than escape, reflecting modern anxiety, technological alienation, and the erosion of identity within an increasingly mechanized world.

The single is a harbinger of a wider conceptual release, with further details on the forthcoming album to be announced soon.

About SUNSWARM:

SUNSWARM is led by vocalist and bassist Rich Lee-Davis and vocalist and guitarist Neil Sutton, joined by additional contributors who extend the band’s sonic and visual reach. Together they construct an immersive environment where sound, light, and texture collide. Their creative world is defined by sensory overload, stark monochrome imagery, disorienting strobe work, and the feeling of being enclosed within an atmosphere that is both vast and hostile. Everything they create is intended to overwhelm, to blur the line between performance and encounter.

From their earliest ideas, SUNSWARM have operated from a place of complete self-definition, shaping a language of heaviness that goes beyond impact or aggression. They approach weight and intensity as emotional terrain, a landscape shaped by pressure, absence, and the darker edges of lived experience. Their second single, “Erasure,” marks a further reveal of this landscape, a glimpse into the bleak and immersive world the band is building.

BLACK SITES Unveil "Aquarius Betrayed" And Announce New Album, For Eternity

Drawing from old school metal, heavy quartet BLACK SITES present their new single "Aquarius Betrayed", the first offering taken from the upcoming album, For Eternity. The album will be released independently on July 17, 2026.

The approaching full-length marks a new chapter for BLACK SITES as Mark Sugar is joined with an updated line-up. For Eternity showcases a development in the band's sound and sees the members' contributions enhance the music's sonic quality.

"Aquarius Betrayed" reflects frustration at the contradiction towards previous generations who "reaped the benefits of the most socially liberated and progressive era in history, and then quickly turned their back on those values when they became inconvenient."

On the recording process for "Aquarius Betrayed", band founder Mark Sugar shares, "This was also the first song that Lee (Smith, new guitarist) recorded guitar for. He’s the only member of the band I hadn’t worked with before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but his solo here is more than impressive."

For Eternity was produced by Mark Sugar & Chris Black, recorded at I Can’t Believe It’s Not Mace Street Studios, with mixing and mastering by Dan Swano. Drums on For Eternity were recorded by Vladimir Ružičić at Kebac Recording Studio.

About BLACK SITES:

Sugar was later joined by members John Picillo (bass), Ryan Bruchert (guitar) and Chris Avgerin (drums). BLACK SITES combines old school metal with guitar harmonies, melodic/clean vocals and progressive elements, primarily drawing inspiration from the likes of VOIVOD, BLACK SABBATH, and KING’S X.

BLACK SITES released their debut In Monochrome in 2017 (Mascot/Provogue Records), followed by Exile in 2019. 2021 saw the release of Untrue that was produced by Sanford Parker and awarded Record Of the Year by Dr. A.N. Ryan Perdz Confronts Self-Sabotage On New Single "Sour"

Buffalo, NY singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Perdz releases his new single “Sour” today via Big Machine Rock, a raw and unfiltered meditation on self-hatred, stubbornness, and the quiet desperation of wanting to change but not knowing where to begin. Stream “SourHERE and watch the accompanying visualizer Below.

Built on brooding, distortion-soaked guitars and a vocal performance that moves from restraint to rupture, “Sour” captures the internal push and pull of someone caught inside their own patterns. The track does not offer tidy resolution. Instead, it leans into the discomfort of self-awareness, tracing the space between yearning for growth and resisting it. Speaking on today's release, Ryan Perdz shares

“‘Sour’ is a song about self hatred. Not wanting to bring anyone into your life, being so stuck in your own ways. It’s a stubborn way of yearning for change but not knowing where to begin.”

At 24, Perdz has built a formidable independent foundation. Self-taught across guitar, bass, violin, and mandolin, he amassed more than one million followers across social platforms and drew 60 million views to his cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” His original catalogue has now surpassed 5.6 million Spotify streams, with 67,000 monthly listeners. Recent single “Temporary” has earned more than 500,000 Spotify streams and 142,000 YouTube views, while “Paradise” has grown to 2.3 million Spotify streams and 250,000 YouTube views.

In early 2025, Perdz signed with Big Machine Rock and began recording his debut full-length album. “Sour” arrives as the latest release from those sessions, sharpening the emotional edge of an artist intent on defining his own lane.

Raised on his grandparents’ dairy farm in Buffalo, Perdz grew up surrounded by the voices of 90s rock and grunge, studying guitar obsessively after receiving his first instrument at ten years old. That fixation still drives his approach. His guitar work remains central to his identity, and his lyrics land with plainspoken intensity whilst still allowing listeners space to see their own experiences reflected back at them.

With “Sour,” Ryan Perdz continues to move beyond the viral moments that first introduced him to millions, grounding his career in original work that reflects both impactful emotional resonance and a unique and undeniable talent.

About Ryan Perdz

Ryan Perdz is a 24-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Buffalo, NY. Raised on his grandparents’ family farm, he began teaching himself guitar at age ten and expanded into bass, violin, and mandolin, developing a hands-on approach to songwriting and arrangement.

Influenced by artists such as Nirvana, Chris Cornell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Led Zeppelin, Perdz channels the emotional weight of 90s rock through a modern lens, balancing grit with melody. His music often explores isolation, self-doubt, and perseverance, delivered with a clarity that feels lived-in rather than ornamental.

After independently releasing multiple singles and his First Sight EP an racking up tens of millions of views across social media, Perdz cultivated a loyal audience through consistent self-directed output. In 2025, he signed with Big Machine Rock and began recording his debut full-length album. His growing catalogue of original music has generated millions of streams, and his audience continues to expand across digital platforms.

As he prepares to unveil his debut album, Ryan Perdz stands positioned at the forefront of a new generation of rock artists shaped by both digital culture and classic influences.

APOSTLE Announce New Album A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, Release Crushing New Single "Swine"

ATLANTA, GA metal trio APOSTLE have announced their forthcoming full-length album A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, set for release June 5, 2026 via Terminus Hate City. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s first single, "Swine", accompanied by a visualizer.

Formed in 2017, APOSTLE have built a reputation for blending the aggression of grindcore and chaotic hardcore with the atmosphere of post-black metal and the melodic weight of shoegaze and post-rock. Their sound is urgent, emotive, and cathartic, drawing influence from bands such as Plebeian Grandstand, Yellow Eyes, Wiegedood, Mourier, and Kły. With A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, the Atlanta trio deliver their most cohesive and devastating work to date.

"Swine" erupts with panicked tremolo melodies and punishing rhythmic shifts, channeling collective frustration into controlled chaos. Lyrically, the track confronts systems of oppression, consequence, and accountability, using stark imagery and visceral delivery to underscore the emotional and political weight behind its message. The song captures APOSTLE at their most confrontational while maintaining the dynamic depth and melodic sensibility that define the band’s evolving identity.

The album title references Carl Jung’s description of humanity as a “splinter in the infinite deity,” framing the record as an exploration of spiritual duality, grief, and self-examination. Across six tracks and 27 minutes, the band move through themes of loss, mortality, internal conflict, and eventual healing. The record serves as both a meditation on the human condition and a deeply personal tribute shaped by grief and remembrance.

Produced, engineered, and mixed by Connor Ray at Sobek Sound and mastered by Erol Ulug at Bright Lights, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon presents APOSTLE in their most refined and expansive form.

Their latest album, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, represents the band’s most fully realized work to date. Drawing from existential philosophy and deeply personal experiences with grief and remembrance, the record explores humanity’s connection to something greater while acknowledging the struggle inherent in being human. Across its runtime, APOSTLE seek connection through shared emotional experience, transforming personal suffering into collective release.
