Melodic Metal Pioneers NARNIA Share New Single "Oceanwide"

Swedish melodic metal pioneers NARNIA release their new single “Oceanwide” offering the first glimpse of their upcoming tenth studio album, 'X,' set for release on May 29, 2026 via Sound Pollution.

“Oceanwide” is a classic NARNIA song in every sense — melodic, uplifting, and instantly memorable. With its strong chorus and unmistakable melodic metal identity, the track has already made its mark live, having been performed since last summer’s Brazil tour with Stryper.

Produced and mixed by CJ Grimmark and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at Studio Bohus, “Oceanwide” is available now on all major digital platforms.

Vocalist Christian Liljegren comments:

“’Oceanwide’ is one of those songs that really represents the heart of this album. It has the melodies, the energy, and the sense of scale that felt right as the first single to introduce ‘X.’

Stream / Listen to "Oceanwide" HERE

NARNIA's upcoming album, 'X,' marks the bands 30th anniversary and nearly three decades of unwavernig presence on the international metal scene.

While their previous release ‘Ghost Town’ (2023) reaffirmed the band’s melodic metal foundation, ‘X’ expands NARNIA’s sonic landscape. The album moves confidently between soaring, arena-ready choruses and more adventurous, progressive passages, without ever losing the band’s unmistakable identity.

Songs like “Oceanwide,” “Every Breath,” and “Heaven’s Calling” showcase NARNIA’s gift for strong hooks and uplifting melodies. At the other end of the spectrum, the high-energy “Remedy (SOS)” pushes the tempo to new heights, while tracks such as “God Under Fire”and “Jerusalem” explore more intricate arrangements and progressive textures.

Multiple lead vocalists share the spotlight throughout the album. Guitarist CJ Grimmark and bassist Jonatan “Jono” Samuelsson step forward on selected tracks, adding new tonal colors, while Christian Liljegren’s unmistakable voice continues to anchor the sound.

The album also reconnects with the band’s legacy. “The Man from Nazareth Pt. II” serves as a continuation of a fan-favorite from the 2006 album ‘Enter the Gate,’ while “The War that Tore the Land (Reprise)” offers a reflective callback to 2019’s ‘From Darkness to Light.’

Guitarist CJ Grimmark comments:

“This album represents both where we come from and where we’re heading. It’s heavier, broader, and more dynamic, but still unmistakably NARNIA.”

Christian Liljegren: Vocals

CJ Grimmark: Guitars, backing vocals

FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY RELEASE DEVASTATING NEW TRACK

No rest for the wicked. Since the release of their latest full-length, The Nothing That Is, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY has remained in constant motion. Today, the band marks the kickoff of their massive US tour alongside headliners LAMB OF GOD by unleashing a brand-new standalone single: 'The Wretch.'

Driven by relentless galloping riffs and punishing percussion, 'The Wretch' features the band's trademark earth-shattering breakdowns balanced by haunting, melodic layers in the chorus. It’s the definitive soundtrack for their return to the stage.

FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY's Will Putney states, “True to our general nature, "The Wretch" is another relatively pessimistic and grim glimpse into our worldly outlook.  In a time where nothing seems to be getting any better at home or abroad, we find there can always be a moment of comfort in the thought of burning it all down.  We hope this song is that temporary oasis for you as well.  Thank you for listening.”

FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY released their seventh studio album The Nothing That Is which featured the singles 'Hostage', 'Savior Of None / Ashes Of All', 'Lower Purpose', and 'Red Horizon'. Stream/purchase The Nothing That Is at https://ffaa.bfan.link/the-nothing-that-is

About:
FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY’s acclaimed 2022 album On What the Future Holds was the band’s highest-charting release to date, becoming the first of their six full-lengths to reach the Top 25 of the Billboard 200. But while some musicians would take such an achievement as a cue to duplicate whatever worked last time, or maybe even tailor their sound to boost its commercial appeal, the band—vocalist Joe Badolato, guitarists Will PutneyPatrick Sheridan, and Tim Howley, bassist Peter Spinazola, and drummer Josean Orta—simply continued to evolve along their own path. The Nothing That IsFIT FOR AN AUTOPSY’s seventh and latest album (and third for Nuclear Blast), bears no sign whatsoever of commercial concession or rehashed past glories. Instead, the ten-song album finds the band exploring moodier textures and deeper emotions that add new power and dynamics to their already brutal and complex music, while also completely tuning out the ambient noise of passing musical trends and the expectations of the outside world. Produced by Putney at his Graphic Nature Audio studio in Kinnelon, New Jersey, The Nothing That Is is an album filled with anger, frustration, and crushing despair. Songs like "Hostage", "Red Horizon", "Lower Purpose", and the pummeling title track grapple with the horrors that the human race has unnecessarily inflicted upon the world, while the epic, introspective closer "The Silver Sun" reflects bitterly upon our uncertain future. Built to be listened to in its entirety in a single sitting, The Nothing That Is flows like the gripping soundtrack to a documentary film of our increasingly dystopian existence. A ringing wake-up call for humanity and a thoroughly intense listening experience, The Nothing That Is brims with both aggression and melody, it's bracing music is delivered with the confidence of a band that has honed its skills and forged its sense of purpose through fifteen-plus years of all-out live shows. Sufficiently secure of their place in the metal firmament to let their music go wherever feels right for a particular song, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have delivered what may well be the greatest album of their career.

Will Putney | Guitar

RYAN AND RORY LEAN INTO LAST-CALL HONKY-TONK CHAOS WITH “WASN’T THINKIN’” – OUT NOW

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s Ryan and Rory turn up the neon-soaked mischief with their new track “Wasn’t Thinkin’,” available everywhere now. Listen Below.

Produced by Kevin Bard and written by Joey Hyde, Ryan Follesé, and Emma-Lee, “Wasn’t Thinkin’” is a high-energy honky-tonk rocker built for last call and the stories that come with it. Driven by cranked-up guitars, a boot-stomping groove, and a head-bobbing rhythm that feels tailor-made for crowded dance floors and late-night singalongs, the track that they premiered earlier this week when they returned to the Grand Ole Opry captures the reckless fun of a night where good decisions take a back seat to good times.

“Yep, the song is about ‘one of those nights,’” says Ryan Follesé. “‘Wasn’t Thinkin’’ is exactly the point. Sometimes, you don’t need to overthink a good time. Just roll with it!”

“Even in the fog of a morning-after hangover,” adds Rory John Zak. “Once you piece together what happened the night before, this song makes you want to run it back again in real life as soon as possible.”

Packed with vivid snapshots of karaoke bars, double pours, and questionable rides home, the track leans into the duo’s signature mix of humor, relatability, and rowdy charm, turning small regrets into big memories and reminding listeners that sometimes the best nights are the ones you never planned.

With music that is connecting with audiences globally, the duo will make their C2C debut with a three-show run in London starting on March 14. More information and tickets are available HERE

Following a string of fan-favorite releases that showcase both their heart and their high-energy live spirit, Ryan and Rory continue to build momentum with a sound that blends modern country polish with throwback honky-tonk attitude. With “Wasn’t Thinkin’,” the SiriusXM Highway Find duo deliver another crowd-ready anthem built for neon lights, raised glasses, and stories worth laughing about the next morning.

Crippled Black Phoenix Release New Single “Colder and Colder”

CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX return with “Colder and Colder”, the second advanced single off their upcoming album Sceaduhelm. The new single stands as one of the album’s starkest meditations on emotional finality, articulating the quiet shock of love slipping irretrievably away. The band are premiering the song today via Decibel Magazine.

Listen to Colder and Colder  Below:

Sceaduhelm comes out April 17th via Season of Mist.

Pre-order & pre-save: https://orcd.co/cbpsceaduhelm

Composed by Justin Greaves, with lyrics & vocals by Justin Storms of Wailin Storms, “Colder and Colder” unfolds with restrained intensity.

“I received this song from Greaves along with the title and immediately was drawn to the melancholic sound”, Justin Storms reflects. “I remember when I first put on my headphones and listened to ‘Colder and Colder’. I started to hum a few melodies while listening to the song.

Those early fragments quickly solidified into the song’s core lyrical motif. “It didn’t take long to write down some of the phrases that became the song’s verses,” Storms continues, “‘colder and colder, see your hand on my shoulder, colder and colder, see your eyes looking over’. I wanted to create a rhythmic sort of pattern with the song title and the vocal elements.

Justin Greaves positions “Colder and Colder” as a bridge within Sceaduhelm. “Musically, ‘Colder And Colder’ is one of my favorites on Sceaduhelm. It’s the link between classic CBP style and the more austere dark pop aspect of how I write.

The song’s title, which was selected from an existing list of ideas, crystallizes the mood. “Working with Storms on this song was a total victory”, Greaves says. “He’s an awesome vocalist and his lyrics really give it a chilling tragic story.”

Recorded between 2023 and 2025 across Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, Kapsylen Studio in Stockholm, and House Of Foto in Louisville, Sceaduhelm was produced by Justin Greaves, mixed by Iver Sandøy at Solslottet Studio in Bergen, and mastered by Magnus Lindberg in Stockholm.

Within Crippled Black Phoenix’s wider catalogue, Sceaduhelm does not seek to resolve previous narratives or replicate past high points. Instead, it documents a moment of exposure and endurance, listening closely to what remains when spectacle fades and outrage exhausts itself. It stands as a severe, human record, concerned less with declaration than with persistence, and affirms once more the band’s refusal to stand still, soften its gaze, or offer easy answers.

GORGONAUT Release New Single "Vernix Caseosa", A Riff Forward Statement From Chicago’s Emerging Heavy Project

Chicago-based solo project GORGONAUT presents the new single "Vernix Caseosa". "Vernix Caseosa" leans into movement and energy, embracing a lighter and more immediate spirit within GORGONAUT’s evolving sound. Built around momentum rather than thematic weight, the track emphasizes groove, drive, and impact, allowing the music itself to carry the experience without overt narrative framing.

Guitars remain the dominant force throughout, paying tribute to classic metal traditions while locking tightly into pulse-driven rhythms supported by synthesized and textural elements. The arrangement prioritizes propulsion, with dense riff work sustaining intensity beneath the vocal lines and maintaining constant forward motion.

In its closing moments, the song expands beyond its grounded foundation, introducing layered orchestration that pushes the finale into deliberately heightened territory. The result balances heaviness with scale, reinforcing GORGONAUT’s interest in blending aggression with cinematic atmosphere.

About GORGONAUT:

Created by multi-instrumentalist Ryan Bruchert, known for work with BLACK SITES, HEWHOCORRUPTS, TRIALS, CENTAURUS, GORGONAUT serves as a focused creative platform unrestricted by stylistic boundaries. The project combines heavy guitar driven songwriting with electronic textures, atmospheric layering, and digital influences drawn from both metal and contemporary electronic music.

Drawing influence from artists such as DEVIN TOWNSEND, VOLA, VOYAGER, MOON TOOTH, DREAM THEATER, and THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE, GORGONAUT continues to explore the intersection of metal, electronic composition, and immersive sound design while pursuing a distinctly personal creative direction.

CLOCKTOWERS Release New Single “Dark Mother” from Upcoming Album Genesis, Out March 20

Heavy music innovators CLOCKTOWERS announce the release of their new single, “Dark Mother,” the closing track from their forthcoming album Genesis, arriving March 20th.

“Dark Mother” serves as the definitive finale to Genesis, showcasing CLOCKTOWERS at full creative strength through focused songwriting, commanding performances, and a deeply immersive metal atmosphere. The track delivers a powerful sense of motion driven by technical precision and dynamic arrangement.

The song opens with a carefully composed intro built around a solo hook that evokes an ancient Egyptian mood, setting a cinematic tone before expanding into a crushing lead riff supported by intricate drum fills and tightly controlled hi-hat work. Layered guitars move with purpose while a low octave foundation builds tension toward a massive sonic release highlighted by explosive fretboard work.

A fiercely memorable verse riff anchors the track with sharp rhythmic movement, allowing the vocals to enter with a clean, energetic flow that locks tightly into the groove. The vocal performance rides within the rhythm in a creative pocket, interacting closely with the guitars to form the distinctive CLOCKTOWERS sound.

The rhythm section plays a central role throughout “Dark Mother.” The bass performance delivers agile transitions through shifting riffs while maintaining strong rhythmic cohesion. Driving drums reinforce the urgency of the arrangement and elevate the track’s large-scale atmosphere, creating a sense of conflict, battle, and emotional intensity.

Midway through the song, an abstract bridge emerges with controlled unpredictability, introducing tension before guiding the composition toward its final ascent. The track maintains a unique swing that carries momentum through evolving sections and synchronized instrumental interplay.

Lyrically, “Dark Mother” explores themes of control, warfare, perseverance, and spiritual questioning. The narrative examines personal strength while confronting long-held beliefs and arriving at the realization that accepted truths may have been built on false foundations.

As the final chapter of Genesis, “Dark Mother” closes the album with lasting impact while leaving listeners eager for what comes next from CLOCKTOWERS.

Listen BELOW:

Genesis, the upcoming full-length release from CLOCKTOWERS, arrives on March 20, 2026 and captures the band at their most focused and driven to date. The album blends gritty hard rock attitude with crushing metal intensity, built on thunderous riffs, commanding rhythms, and deeply intentional songwriting. Across eight tracks, the record explores themes of addiction, loss, spiritual conflict, rebellion, fatherhood, and personal responsibility, all delivered with raw emotion and musical precision. Soaring choruses collide with heavy, groove-centered passages, while intricate guitar work and a relentless rhythm section keep the energy constant. Genesis reflects the band’s growth in both sound and vision, presenting a cohesive body of work shaped by instinct, experience, and an uncompromising creative voice.

CLOCKTOWERS is:

  • Tarek Puska – Vocals

  • Dakota Logan – All instruments (guitars, bass, additional production)

Amulets Announce "Rem(a)inders" EP + Share "Black Sheep"

Amulets, the project of Portland-based audio + visual artist Randall Taylor, has unveiled the new single "Black Sheep," the first taken from new EP Rem(a)inders, out April 10 via Pelagic Records.

Against a hazy analogue backdrop, ambient guitars reverberate and echo through the sonic landscape, creating a sensation of weightlessness that is both calming and unsettling. Melancholic and soaring, "Black Sheep" evokes a presence of isolation and longing in the emptiness. Through patient unfolding, this minimalist, poignant atmosphere raises in intensity, deliberate in its unhurried movement, leaving room for each sound to breathe, evolve, and fade into the next.

Amulets' new album Rema(i)nders marks the debut for Pelagic Records, a fitting home for a record that thrives in the liminal space between heaviness and fragility. Deeply immersive, the album navigates the dreamy boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal, where sound behaves as memory itself: Unstable, layered, and quietly transformative.

Randall Taylor's work uses analog tape and its imperfections to explore themes like degradation and nostalgia and their relationship to technology and to the self. By constructing and modifying tape loops and repurposing antiquated cassette players, Taylor creates dense, never-ending, looping soundscapes for both his live performances and sculptural sound art installations.

Known for his ability to weave soundscapes that evoke powerful emotions with minimalistic instrumentation, Taylor's newest project is a masterful exploration of mood, atmosphere, and texture.

Taylor comments, "Rema(i)nders started as a fragmented collection of songs, memories, ideas, and feelings that I wanted to mash and warp together beyond recognition. What I ended up creating was a beautiful mosaic of texture and light in this darkening world. To remain is to remind. To remind is to remain."

Via Doloris Release Luminous New Single “Un Franc Soleil”

Via Doloris is rooted in an inward journey rather than orthodoxy. Conceived in solitude and shaped by discipline, composer and multi-instrumentalist Gildas Le Pape (ex-Satyricon) traces a melodic, atmospheric and introspective path through black metal’s foundations on upcoming debut album Guerre et Paix. He’s joined by Frost, the legendary drummer of Satyricon and 1349, who provides a sense of persistence, grounded and unyielding.

Today, Via Doloris are releasing the second advanced single from Guerre et Paix. Standing among the album’s most luminous moments, “Un Franc Soleil” captures a fleeting sensation of release after prolonged inner unrest. An atmospheric depiction of an illusion glimpsed from afar, the song evokes the distant promise of a life freed from struggle, a vision radiant yet never fully attained.

Listen to “Un Franc Soleil” below.

Guerre et Paix comes out March 20 on Season of Mist.

Pre-order & Pre-save

https://orcd.co/viadolorisguerreetpaix

“Un Franc Soleil” captures Via Doloris at their most expansive and textural. The song unfolds in measured restraint; layered guitars trace gentle melodic figures across a patient rhythmic foundation.  Frost’s nuanced drumming anchors the gradual ascent of each chord progression, allowing melody to emerge from distortion and clarity from dissonance. Written in French, the lyrics carry vulnerability and resolve in equal measure, portraying serenity not as certainty, but as something only ever approached.

Within the broader architecture of Guerre et Paix, “Un Franc Soleil” functions as a threshold: a contemplative pause before the album returns to denser and more conflicted terrain.

Based in Oslo, Gildas Le Pape first gained attention in 2007 when he joined the legendary Satyricon as a guitarist. Over the next six years, he toured the world and contributed to the band’s recorded legacy, before stepping away to explore a broad range of musical directions. In time, this path led him back to extreme music, this time with a renewed creative vision and sharpened intent. In 2023, he invited his long-time collaborator, Frost — arguably one of the most accomplished drummers in the genre — to join him in bringing the debut release to life.

Line-up:

Gildas le Pape — Lead Vocals, Choirs, Guitars, Bass

Frost — Session Drums

As Randall King readies his follow-up project to 2024’s Into The Neonthe Hereford, Texas native arrives today with his latest slow burner, “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’,” available everywhere now. Listen BELOW

"I've been thinkin' 'bout how excited I am for this new chapter - so what better day than today to share an early taste of what we've got cooking? 'Thinkin' 'Bout Drinkin'' is country music delivered right to your ears, courtesy of the Tonk machine,” shares King. “I hope you enjoy it, because there's more like it coming soon..."

Written by Don Sampson, Monty Holmes and Troy Cassar-Daley, and produced by Jared Conrad, “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’” finds the narrator facing temptation in the face of heartbreak.

“Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin’” is King’s first release since signing with progressive artist development company Neon Coast for artist management, and is the latest off his upcoming project.

King’s sophomore album, Into The Neonwas released Jan. 26, 2024 to critical acclaim, leaving Texas Monthly observing "his Texas bona fides are unimpeachable.” Into The Neon was also named among the top country albums of 2024 by Entertainment Focus and Whiskey Riff

Known for his road warrior diet of nearly 150 shows a year, King is currently on his 2026 Big Deal Tour and will support Luke Bryan on select dates of his upcoming Word On The Street Tour. King will kick off his 13-date A Long Way From Amarillo Europe 2026 Tour on May 4 in Oslo, Norway.

ABOUT RANDALL KING:
A West Texas native and self-described “old soul," Warner Music Nashville's Randall King has never wavered in his honky-tonk allegiance – in fact, he’s worn it like a badge of honor, growing with pride into a leading voice for today’s traditional country. Amassing nearly 500 Million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror,” he’s kept the twang alive in country’s mainstream while also earning acclaim through deeply personal EPs like 2020’s Leanna, and his 2022 major label album debut, Shot Glass – which landed on both Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far). Schooled on icons like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson, but inspired by modern masters like Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan, King first built an independent, grass-roots following on the strength of his electrifying live shows – each one a harrowing mix of rowdy roughnecking, romantic tenderness and breathtaking emotion – never asking for permission to explore his creative vision. He has since gone on to headline all across the U.S., the U.K. and Europe, where he continues to play nearly 150 shows a year and hone his craft where it matters most. Named a Country Artist to Watch by everyone from Pandora and Country Now to Music Mayhem Magazine, his sophomore major label album Into the Neon, available now, takes that craft to the next level, as King’s neo-traditional roots meet the blood-pumping rhythms and sharp, arena-sized grooves of Y2K-era country and beyond. Co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, and featuring 18 tracks, punchy sounds exist side-by-side with timeless swagger, further blurring the line between yesteryear and today–even as King renews his forever-country vows. Into The Neon was named among the best country albums of the year by Whiskey Riff, Country Now & Entertainment Focus, and yielded King’s debut single, “I Could Be That Rain.”

COREY KENT FAST-TRACKS RELEASE OF NEW SONG “EMPTY WORDS” DUE TO OVERWHELMING FAN DEMAND

Multi-platinum country star Corey Kent is giving fans what they asked for, fast-tracking the release of his powerful new song “Empty Words” after an overwhelming early response with the teaser being viewed over 20 million times across social media platforms. Listen to “Empty Words” BELOW.

Written by Kent alongside Austin Goodloe, Lydia Vaughan, Matt Roy and Joybeth Taylor, “Empty Words” delivers a gut-punch of regret and reflection wrapped in Kent’s signature country-rock grit.

“As a songwriter, it feels like catching lightning in a bottle when you find that line or double entendre that carries more weight than expected,” shared Kent. “So ‘Empty Words’ is really special because it says something heavy yet simply. I love that it’s already resonating with fans. Based on their insane reaction, we didn’t want to make them wait so we’ve bumped it up in the release schedule to get it to them even sooner.”

Built around stark honesty and emotional fallout, the song captures the quiet devastation of realizing too late that words without action don’t hold weight:

The release follows Kent’s recent collaboration with Koe Wetzel, “Rocky Mountain Low,” which is currently climbing the country radio charts. The tracks are the first taste of new music since Kent’s 2025 EP Poster Child.

Surpassing 1 billion career streams earlier in the year, Kent’s second No. 1 single “This Heart” was certified GOLD by the RIAA while his hard-driving hit “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” is approaching PLATINUM status. Both join Kent’s TRIPLE-PLATINUM No. 1 breakout “Wild As Her.”

Looking ahead, the Oklahoma native will join Jason Aldean’s Full Throttle World Tour in February 2026 for a series of dates in Australia and New Zealand. Next April, Kent will return to the massive Stagecoach festival in Indio, California (4/25). And in May, he’ll be back overseas for the Highways Festival in London, U.K. (5/16), plus a handful of headline dates in Germany and The Netherlands.

Recognized by Rolling Stone as an artist that is “poised to be country’s latest red dirt star,” Kent has become a decorated artist on the rise, growing from humble heartland roots into a Triple-Platinum certified No. 1 hit maker with one billion career streams.

Rising from the vibrant Red Dirt country scene as the embodiment of authenticity, Kent set his sights on Nashville as a teen, bringing his self-penned catalog of country-rock anthems with him. But after the pandemic coincided with the loss of his first publishing deal, Kent was forced to move to Texas and get a job on a paving crew to pay the bills, yet he stubbornly refused to call music quits, with honky-tonks and dancehalls on both sides of the Red River becoming his stomping ground.

Fast forward a few years and the hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right all along. An untamed tribute to a free-spirited stunner, the track re-invigorated Kent’s career as a now Triple-Platinum-certified No. 1 at country radio, and the lead single off his 2023 major label album debut, Blacktop. Since then, Kent’s track “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” went Gold and he also earned his second No. 1 at country radio with track “This Heart,” as the song reached the top of both the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart and the Billboard Country Airplay chart last summer.

Kent released his sophomore major-label album, Black Bandana, to critical acclaim in 2024, with Music Row Magazine describing the title track as “gently but unrelentingly uplifting.” He’s also earned next-big thing accolades along the way, including recognition from CMT and the Opry Next Stage program and toured with the likes of Morgan Wallen, Jon Pardi, Jason Aldean and Parker McCollum.

ROMAN CANDLE Confronts Industry Disillusionment With New Single "Bite Harder Than You Bleed"

Las Vegas screamo quartet Roman Candle have dropped brand new single, "Bite Harder Than You Bleed", today. A razor-edged confession about industry pressure, false worship, and the hollow egos hiding beneath the surface. Self-aware and unflinching it's the band's most striking release yet. Watch the official music video BELOW and stream the track on DSPs HERE.

Written in isolation and chasing emotional truth over polish, the track fuses serrated guitar work with Piper Ferrari's commanding vocal intensity and lyrics that refuse comfort whilst capturing the contradiction of writing your own playbook in a world that demands conformity. Speaking further on the inspiration for writing the track Piper shares

"Bite Harder Than You Bleed came from this place of being completely jaded with the music industry—the pressure to act the same, think the same, and worship the same idols. It's that 'kill your idols' moment where you realize even the people you look up to are just as hollow, anxious, and bruised as you are. Lines like 'falsely shallow, hollow, refusing to follow' and 'your idols hate you too' were me processing how disheartening it can feel, but also how freeing it is to acknowledge it. The song is basically my reminder that you have to bite harder than you bleed—push back, stay sharp, and refuse to let the world wear you down."

Since their breakout EP Discount Fireworks, Roman Candle spent the next few years refining their sound and expanding their reach. "Fire In The Night Sky Forever.", "This Band Has Led Me To Places I Wouldn't Go With A Gun," and "Nothing Is Original" each showcasing their ability to balance chaos with clarity. January's "Can We Watch Something Happy?", rooted in Piper's personal experiences, further cemented their reputation for unfiltered storytelling. Last October's sold-out Las Vegas hometown show marked a defining moment, proof of swelling local and national attention. To date, the band has amassed 2.8 million streams across all platforms and 400,000 YouTube views, steadily building a devoted following through relentless live performances and emotionally resonant songwriting.

With a full-length album on the horizon, Roman Candle continues to position themselves at the forefront of a new generation of screamo acts. Raw, intentional, and resonant in a way that cuts straight to the bone.

"Bite Harder Than You Bleed" is out now via Sumerian Records and can be streamed here: sumerian.lnk.to/bhtyb

Mumbai's GUTSLIT Double Down on Brutality with “I, Berzerker”

Mumbai, India extreme metal force GUTSLIT return with their blistering new single “I, Berzerker”, marking the band’s first release since 2023’s Carnal and the beginning of a new chapter in their relentless evolution. Released independently, the track showcases a sharpened, ferocious sound that reaffirms GUTSLIT’s position as one of the most uncompromising bands in modern death metal.

“I, Berzerker” is a raw declaration of intent. Written as a defiant response to the notion of mellowing with age, the song captures GUTSLIT at their most primal and focused. Blistering riff work, punishing rhythms, and guttural vocals collide in a tightly constructed assault that balances precision with unrestrained aggression.

The track draws inspiration from the myth of the Berzerker, the warrior consumed by battle rage, and reinterprets it as a metaphor for creative freedom. Lyrically, the song explores instinct, release, and total immersion in the act of creation. Violence and fury become symbols of purpose, expression, and identity.

“I, Berzerker” also marks an important turning point for the band. Now operating as a five piece, GUTSLIT feature the dual guitar lineup of Ishwar Hariharan and Aditya Swaminathan, bringing a renewed melodic edge and dynamic interplay to the band’s signature brutality. The core foundation remains as vicious as ever, with Aditya Barve on vocals, Gurdip Singh Narang on bass, and Aaron Pinto on drums driving the chaos forward.

Produced by GUTSLIT, the single was recorded across Gray Spark Studio for drums and Altar Studio for guitars and bass. Engineering was handled by Saurabh Lodha, with vocals engineered by Ashwin Shriyan. Mixing and mastering were completed by Mendel Bij de Liej of EX-ABORTED, delivering a crushing yet refined sonic impact. The single artwork was created by drummer Aaron Pinto, under his visual alias Kidsquidy.

LONG LOST CULT CLASSIC BY ARMAGEDDON IS CELEBRATING ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY AND IS BEING REISSUED

Armageddon was formed in 1974, and their self-titled debut, Armageddon, released in 1975, was recorded in England and released in the United States on A&M Records. The albums' original liner notes use the term "supergroup", as their personnel were drummer Bobby Caldwell (previously a member of Captain Beyond), singer Keith Relf (who had fronted the band the Yardbirds and was a co-founder of Renaissance), guitarist Martin Pugh (from Steamhammer), and bassist Louis Cennamo (also formerly of Renaissance and Steamhammer).

This classic has now been remastered and repackaged in a beautiful gatefold on 180G Atomic Red Vinyl with additional photos and credits to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.  There is a Limited (100 copies) signed bundle that comes with a 10x10 print signed by all three-surviving members (Bobby Caldwell, Louis Cennamo, Martin Pugh). As Caldwell states, “Hello!  It was a great pleasure to have written and worked on the Armageddon album with the late Keith Relf, Martin Pugh, and Louis Cenamo, some of the finest players in England!  We had a lot of fun, and we are delighted to see the album being re-issued by Deko Entertainment. We hope you enjoy it. Many thanks! Best Wishes.

Listen to “Buzzard” Below:

Pugh continues, “I am thrilled that Deko is recognizing the 50th anniversary of Armageddon with this timely release of the vinyl. Keith, Louis and myself flew out from London following a dream, when we arrived in Hollywood, met and jammed with Bobby, the dream came true.” Cennamo concludes, “Armageddon, our supergroup that nearly was and now just might always be!”

Armageddon is a limited pressing of 500 copies and continues in the tradition of Deko Entertainments mission to bring lost classics back to life and sometimes for the first time ever on vinyl. Recent releases have included Trapeze, Angel, Dokken, Warrant, Slaughter, Stevie Salas, and others.

EVICTION, Pittsburgh Crossover Thrash Metal, Release THE WORLD IS HOURS AWAY Remastered By Rob Colwell on Brutal Planet Records

In 1990, Pittsburgh’s Eviction unleashed The World Is Hours Away — a volatile mix of thrash power and punk rebellion that instantly earned cult status among crossover metal fans. Fueled by blue-collar grit and raw conviction, the album captured a scene that valued energy over polish and truth over trends.

Brutal Planet Records now brings this underground classic back to life with a striking Nuclear Green Vinyl pressing, complete with a full-color 12″ × 12″ lyric and collage insert that celebrates Eviction’s history and the Pittsburgh scene that forged them. It’s a sonic time capsule of American thrash at its most honest — loud, fast, and full of heart.

From the relentless drive of “Listen” and “Drunken State” to the defiant anthem “American Way,” every track oozes authenticity and attitude. For fans who live at the intersection of punk ferocity and metal precision — where Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., and C.O.C. collide — this is the definitive way to experience The World Is Hours Away.

Capsize Return! Band Drops New Single "The Fracture"

Capsize return with "The Fracture," their first release since signing to Roux & Ruin Records.

Listen below.

The song, produced by Matt Good (From First To Last, Asking Alexandria), twists melody and misery into one — a dark anthem that reminds everyone why people can't seem to look away.

"This song is about taking responsibility for everything in my life, even the things that are out of my control," shares Daniel Wand. "I've found holding myself accountable is the only way I've been able to make sense of the aftermath when things fall apart in any category of life. It's about feeling empty from it, and still trying to find some kind of light at the end of the tunnel by being candid about internal struggle. More than anything, I hope it connects with people who can find it relatable, who stuck in their own self-destructive cycles and helps them feel less alone in what they're going through and maybe taking on a similar route to process what they're are going through."

After several years of sporadic single drops, Capsize fans can look forward to a new physical release, on deck for 2026, with more details to be revealed shortly. The next release will be the band's first since A Reintroduction: The Essence Of All That Surrounds Me, which arrived in 2016 via Equal Vision Records.

For now, fans can revel in the melodic maelstrom of "The Fracture."

PARMALEE’S “HOW DO I LET YOU GO” SEEKS GUIDANCE TO LIFE’S HARDEST QUESTION

Chart-topping and platinum-selling country band Parmalee today releases their most personal and reflective song ever - “How Do I Let You Go.”  Inspired by the passing of frontman Matt and drummer Scott Thomas’ father, as well as guitarist/pianist Josh McSwain’s father, the heart-stirring ballad reflects on the love, loss and ache of wishing for just a little more time. Listen Below

“This song is a note to our dads and the friends we lost too soon,” shares frontman Matt Thomas. “Myself, Scott and Josh grew up playing in bands with our dads. Barry eventually joined that band too. From the time we were kids, all we ever wanted to do was play music for a living. There’s a line in the song about ‘Corrigan’s’ — that was the club where it all began for us with them. The place that shaped us as musicians and friends. One of the hardest things is knowing they never got to see us fulfill our dreams of playing music for a living. Even so, they’ve been with us every step of the way, and we know every night they have the best seat in the house.

Haunting and hopeful, it's raw, real and deeply human, delivering the kind of storytelling that stops you in your tracks. A powerful reminder that while letting go is impossible, there’s undeniable beauty in the memories that remain.

Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and lifelong friend Josh McSwain, Parmalee has been a household name with headliner status for years, following four back-to-back #1s at country radio and being recognized as the most played country act by Billboard in 2022 for their iconic love song “Take My Name.”

Currently on their “Feel Like Home” Tour, the band’s vibrant stunner Cowgirl”, from their latest album Fell In Love With A Cowgirl, is heating up to be their sixth #1 at country radio, as it races toward #1 territory.

Ian Munsick Releases Ozzy Osbourne Tribute, “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)”

While Ian Munsick has been critically celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker for putting the “western back in country,” the Wyoming native is also known for genre-bending covers during his live show, showcasing his range of influences with his rendition of girl pop hits including Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” and classics such as Neil Young’s “Old Man.” Most recently, Munsick went viral for an Ozzy Osbourne tribute, performing “No More Tears” in honor of the rock legend who passed away earlier this year. Munsick knew he had something special due to fans’ reactions – and today is releasing his live recording of the song.

Listen to “No More Tears (Live From Sturgis)” Below

Ozzy’s influence on Munsick began at an early age, as Munsick recalls, “When I was 8 years old, I stumbled upon my older brother’s CD collection. I sneakily slid out a black colored album with a small tan cross on top and threw it in my walkman CD player (shout out the early 2000’s). One of the most iconic bass riffs of all time captured my ears right out of the gate, followed by the most recognizable voice in all of Rock n Roll. It was Ozzy’s 1991 hit song ‘No More Tears.’”

Doing the cover of “No More Tears” in Nebraska upon the singer’s death in July came together by happenstance. Munsick shares, “23 years later, I’m on stage sound checking in Kearney, Nebraska when out of the air and into my fingers comes that same iconic bass riff. My band quickly followed suit and we jammed a verse and chorus before moving on to our normal soundcheck routine. I headed back to the bus to catch a quick nap before the long night ahead when breaking news hit my phone… ‘RIP Ozzy.’ The universe was telling me to play that song that night, so we quickly worked up a fiddle heavy version of the heavy metal hit.

“As our 90 minute show was coming to end, I nervously looked at my drummer to count me in for our tribute to the Ozzman,” he adds. “The bass riff captured the country audience as they erupted with joy and sadness all at once. After the show, social media did its thing and made our cover of ‘No More Tears’ the most viral moment I’ve had thus far in my career. I knew we had to release a version exactly like the one we played in Nebraska that night. Luckily, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was the following weekend... what better atmosphere to play some Ozzy? This time, we hit record.”

Munsick recently set The Eagle Flies Free Tour for 2026. Beginning February 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the tour will feature 17 dates with special guests Lanie Gardner, Ben Haggard, Tyler Nance and Jake Worthington, highlighting one of the most distinctive voices in modern country music – and his distinctive modern-Western style.

The follow up to his 2025 Eagle Feather album, Munsick’s The Eagle Flies Free Tour continues a streak of touring success for the native son of Sheridan, Wyoming – including a history making turn at the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days in July.

Headlining the iconic rodeo and Western lifestyle celebration, Munsick became the first Wyoming native to secure top-billing of the event’s musical lineup, playing songs from across his three albums – Coyote Cry, White Buffalo and Eagle Feather.

BEAST EAGLE Drops Ferocious New Single “Sharp Tongue” Ahead of Sorceress EP

BEAST EAGLE is back with a fierce new single, “Sharp Tongue”, the third single from their upcoming EP Sorceress, due out November 21 on Golden Robot Records.

Built on jagged guitars and a storm of emotion, “Sharp Tongue” tells the story of a woman grappling with power she no longer understands. The track fuses haunting vocal lines with heavy, grinding riffs, crafting a sound that’s both cinematic and confrontational. It captures a descent into inner chaos, where the threat isn’t the world outside, but the strength within.

The band leans into darker territory on this release, embracing vulnerability without sacrificing weight. “Sharp Tongue” pulls no punches. It’s raw, tightly wound, and driven by a sense of urgency that refuses to let up.

Sorceress promises to explore themes of control, identity, and transformation. With “Sharp Tongue” as a preview, BEAST EAGLE continues to push their sound forward: louder, darker, and more emotionally charged than ever.
